we’ve all seen the cute scenarios of chrollo nursing his darling back to health if she’s ill, but do you think Chrollo could ever succumb to a little flu? apparently the general consensus is that he has a really good immune system so he doesn’t get sick much, but wouldn’t it be cute for a darling to feel his head and feed him soup☹️

I can definitely see it being very rare for Chrollo to get sick, especially after growing up in Meteor City where it’s the survival of the fittest there so he often falls as the one who takes care of his significant other. But he’s a human after all, so when Chrollo does get sick he tries to brush it off as mere exhaustion on the first day to not worry you.

Though, by the second day of sickness, his whole body is extremely heavy, he feels like he’s glued to the mattress, not to mention how warm his skin feels paired with chesty coughs here, and there. Of course, you’re there at the first sign of his symptoms—one feel at his warm forehead, and you’re already chopping up ingredients to make him a comfort soup.

Chrollo is the type to be nonchalant about things, and that includes him being sick as well. So at first, when you offer to feed him in bed with the soup you made, he’s stubborn, and meekly refuses the spoonful of soup. To top it off, he says he’s ‘not sick’ but clearly his words contradict his current state. Eventually, Chrollo caves in, and lets you spoon feed him (after bickering back, and forth), and he thinks to himself that being taken care of isn’t too bad. He’s always so set on taking care of you that sometimes he doesn’t let himself be taken care of, and when he finally stops to let that happen, it shocks Chrollo as to how much he actually enjoys it.

After he makes this discovery, Chrollo allows you to nurse him ‘til he gets better like he usually does with you—whether it be feeding him, applying a cold towel to his forehead or simply reading one of his favourite antique novels to him, Chrollo accepts them with open arms. I also feel like he’s the type to become a bit clingy when he’s sick; he’ll also wear his heart of his sleeve more, albeit, not by choice. Chrollo would want you to stay by his side ‘til he gets better which usually ends up with you spending almost the whole day in bed with him, his arms never leaving your figure.

Or, if you manage to escape from his arms, and ignore his stubborn pleas, Chrollo will make sure to follow you around the house, even if it meant sacrificing a little energy just to be with you. In the kitchen? He’s behind you with arms wrapped around your waist. In the living room? He’ll lay his head on your lap while you watch TV, maybe he’d even ask you to stroke his hair while he falls asleep to the sound of the show you’re watching. At the end of the day, he’s just a man needing extra love, and attention from his lover despite not openly admitting it. ><

Have you ever changed your mind about completing a contract?

"Once or twice." Copperhead admitted quietly, but he would not expand further upon that. Normally he followed his contracts right down to the letter, even going the extra length to track down those in hiding or who had even fled to other states in hopes they could escape the wrath of those they had wronged. On very rare occasions, Copperhead changed his mind right at the last minute, even when success was within reach of his claws. His eyes flickered vaguely as he thought back to one particular incident long before he came to Gotham. It was a typical kill, a man who had angered the wrong people with deep pockets and Copperhead hadn't thought overly hard about accepting it. It was easy money, and had been even easier tracking the contract down, much less climbing through an open window to lie in wait for his return. No, what made that particular mission impossible to complete was the fact the man was not alone. Copperhead remembered the colour the man had gone when he started strangling him, tail wrapped tight his contract's neck. Thrashing would have done him no good; the weight of the serpentine assassin's knee pressing upon his chest kept him firmly in place, the dying man's nails unable to secure a grip against cold, smooth scales of his would-be killer. Another minute and Copperhead would have been gone, leaving yet another body in his wake except - "Papá?" Copperhead still remembered the shock he felt when he heard that small voice piping up from the doorway, turning his head away from his contract to see a young boy barely in his teens. His eyes, wide with horror, could see well enough in the darkness to tell something was horribly, deeply wrong and his father was very much in critical danger. Shaft of moonlight came flooding in through the open window in which Copperhead had arrived, illuminating the scene. He already saw the boy as clear as day, but in that moment he could feel the youth's terror as silver light bathed the bedroom in sinister glow, monstrous predator wringing the life out of his beloved father.

Go away. You don't need to see this. Copperhead remembered hissing at the youth, the grip of his tail loosening just a fraction around the man's neck. Make sure there arent any witnesses, his employers had demanded, adamant that he should do away with others if they happened to stumble across this merry scene but in that moment Copperhead found himself hesitating, unable to tear his gaze away from the youth's terrified eyes. Terror quickly morphed into something more primal, desperate as the boy moved. "¡Aléjate de mi papá!" Snatching up a candlestand, the boy screamed as he rushed at the bed, waving and waving the metal stick in his hand as though he were a knight charging a dragon with a sword. His scaled tail went slack, letting go of his would-be victim who immediately gasped and sputtered for breath, colour flooding back into his face as he inhaled life-giving oxygen once more.

But Copperhead was no longer there, just a shadowy figure perched upon the windowsill. In that moment, his eyes met the boy's again; terrified, angry, shocked that what he'd done actually worked, his small hands desperately clutching his wheezing father's own. Copperhead stared a moment longer, then slipped out the way he came. He never knew what happened after that. Copperhead didn't bother reporting back to his employers, he simply left the area and his alias at the time along with it. If the man took the hint and left along with his boy, he never heard anything about it - or any untimely deaths for a while. Copperhead didn't usually leave a contract unfinished but occasionally, on the very rarest of chances, he changed his mind after all.

Hey non! This isn’t a stupid question to ask at all :) I think it actually can stem into a really cool conversation!

So the short answer is no, but I have the reasons as to why.

The first one being that Joel has been in the industry since he was 18. He’s seen and experienced it all. His own romantic emotions have been reserved for most of his life up until when he meets his first serious girlfriend Carmen, and now baby love. He himself has had crushes on his onscreen partners and short flings that have naturally fizzled out, but at the end of the day, it’s his job.

baby love’s inherent nature is very loving and he knows this and it’s one of the many things that he loves about her. If she came to him and said that she had a crush on one of her onscreen partners outside of him and Tommy, he knows she would communicate it to him and not hide it from him. She also knows that it’s her job, and sometimes emotions get involved when you’re filming sexual intimate scenes.

I think also if Joel was an emotionally immature individual he would for sure struggle with jealousy, but he feels confident and secure in his relationship so he’s not concerned if baby love ever comes to him and wants to talk about their relationship being more fluid and open.

I think that if baby love and Joel weren’t pornstars, or if only one was a pornstar and the other wasn’t, it would be a different conversation tbh. But given the fact that both their jobs are to give and receive pleasure on camera, emotions are involved to an extent. But when you have two individuals who are emotionally mature and actively communicate in a relationship, there’s no room for jealously imo.

EVERYONE STAND BACK BACHIRA IS ONCE AGAIN TURNING THIS COURT INTO A DANCE FLOOR. THE BEAT IS DROPPING AS HIS ENEMIES DO, TOO!!" or "YES A DIRECT SHOT BY THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGENDDDDDD ISAGI YOICHIIIIIII!!!" it was wild but not too biased bc I was properly losing my mind over both sides of the match when something impressive happened. But I remember it being such whiplash to a lot of bllk boys bc I have a petite, curvy, and cute appearance but had the heart and roar of a crazy American announcer during games lmao

but honestly?? Aside from Ego needing more creativity for training sims (soccer boys vs holographic zombies WHEN) bc if he's gonna have that much money and tech and ruin these guys' lives let them have some fun in a interactive/simulation, their soccer feats absolutely deserve hype men. Is there anything you wish the manga added, out of curiosity?? I saw a post point this out, but I also wish the (vastly superior!!) female Japanese soccer team is mentioned at some point.
