Finally got to designing an alien (or smth like that) , this is Cygnus.
Name is the scientific name of swans, since they are a swan alien. They are one of Yume's "guardians" (the scientists). They appeared in "The Note" post. They are wearing clothes similar to (two of the terrible triplets) just because...
Both because they are respected human pets, but also just because why not

── .✦ : Y/N had been planning the perfect surprise. With Nick, Matt, and Chris Sturniolo's 21st birthday that was happening, Y/N knew she had to be there with them. She managed to keep her secret as she flew from LA to Boston, where the triplets were celebrating in a cozy cabin nestled in the woods. As the sun began to set, Y/N quietly slipped into the cabin, blending in with the festive atmosphere. When she finally revealed herself, the brothers’ astonished faces were priceless. The surprise party was a perfect blend of laughter, heartfelt toasts, and shared memories, making their milestone birthday truly special.

⊱ ۫ ׅ ✧ : 𝐀𝐬 𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞, clutching my phone tightly in my hand, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Today was the day I had been planning for weeks, months even, a surprise visit to celebrate my best friend Nick's 21st birthday. I had kept it a secret from everyone, except for Nick's parents, Jim and Mary Lou, who were gracious enough to help me pull off this surprise.
The waiting game was always the hardest part. I kept checking my phone, hoping to see a message or call from Jimmy or Mary Lou, signaling that they were close by and ready to pick me up. But the minutes seemed to drag on endlessly, and my anticipation grew with each passing second.
As I stood there, lost in my thoughts, I suddenly felt my phone vibrate in my hand. My heart leaped with anticipation as I glanced at the screen and saw Mary Lou’s name flashing across the screen. Quickly, I answered the call.
“Hello?” I said, my voice betraying a slight tremor of excitement.
Mary Lou’s cheerful voice came through the line. “Hey honey! We’re just pulling into the arrivals lane. Are you here?”
A sigh of relief escaped my lips. “Yes, I’m right here. I’ll make my way outside.” I quickly gathered my belongings and made my way out of the terminal, searching for the familiar sight of Jimmy and Mary Lou’s car.
Soon enough, I spotted their car and saw both Jimmy and Mary Lou waving at me. With a grin, I hurried over and climbed into the backseat, settling in for the ride to the cabin.
As the car pulled out of the airport parking lot, Jimmy glanced back at me through the rearview mirror. “I have to say, I’m impressed you managed to keep this a secret from the boys for so long.”
I chuckled and replied, “I’m surprised myself as well. To be honest, the thing I was ‘busy’ with didn’t take as long as I thought, so I figured I’d surprise the boys since I hadn’t seen them in a while.”
Mary Lou chimed in with a smile, “Oh, they’ll be absolutely ecstatic to see you, especially Nick. He was pretty bummed that you wouldn’t be there for his birthday.”
A small pang of guilt tugged at my heart. I knew how much Nick valued our friendship, and I had hated the thought of missing his birthday. “Yeah, I felt terrible about it, but I’m here now, and I can’t wait to see their faces when they realize what’s going on.”
The drive to the cabin was filled with laughter and excited chatter. Jimmy and Mary Lou filled me in on the boys’ plans for their birthday, and I couldn’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness as the moment of surprise drew nearer.
Mary Lou chimed in with a grin, “Chris probably misses you the most. That boy hasn’t stopped talking about you ever since they landed here. It's always ‘I miss Y/N’ this and ‘I wish Y/N was with us’ that.”
I chuckled, my heart warmed by the thought of Chris missing me. “I miss that boy so much,” I confessed.
Mary Lou nodded and added, “But to be honest, I secretly think Nick misses you the most, even though he’s great at hiding his emotions.”
My heart fluttered a little at Mary Lou’s words. I knew Nick was always the more reserved one in our friendship, but it touched me to know that he might be missing me just as much as I was missing him.
The car ride continued, filled with more lighthearted conversation and laughter. As the cabin finally came into view, my stomach twisted with nervous excitement. This was it, the moment I had been waiting for.
Mary Lou and Jimmy entered the cabin, followed closely by me.
“Boys, we have a surprise for you,” Mary Lou announced.
The triplets all looked up from their phones, their eyes widening with anticipation. Nick and Matt were seated at the table, while Chris was lounging on the couch.
Nick’s gaze landed on me, his eyes widening in disbelief. “Y/N?” he gasped, his voice filled with surprise.
Matt’s jaw dropped open, and even Chris looked shocked, his phone slipping from his grip onto the couch.
I smiled softly, my voice trembling with anticipation. “Surprise?”
Nick, Matt, and Chris were still frozen in shock, their mouths hanging open. It was as if they couldn’t quite believe that I was really there, right in front of them.
Chris didn’t hesitate for a second. He jumped up from the couch and sprinted over to me. With a wide grin, he scooped me up in his arms, lifting me off the ground in a tight embrace.
I couldn’t help but laugh as Chris lifted me off the ground. I dropped my bags to the floor and wrapped my arms around his neck, my legs encircling his waist. “Hi, Chrissy,” I said, my voice filled with affection.
Chris held me tightly in his arms, his face buried in my shoulder. “I can’t believe you’re really here,” he mumbled into my ear.
Nick and Matt finally got over their initial surprise and got up from the table, slowly approaching me with wide grins on their faces.
Matt’s face was filled with a mix of curiosity and excitement. “What about that thing you were busy with? I thought you couldn’t make it,” he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
I smiled and replied, “It was cut short, so I decided to surprise you guys instead.”
Chris finally set me back down on the ground, a wide grin still plastered on his face. “When did you even land?” he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I chuckled at his eagerness. “I landed like an hour ago. Had to keep it a secret so I wouldn’t ruin the surprise,” I said, ruffling his hair playfully.
Chris playfully swatted my hand away, knowing I was just teasing him. I then looked behind him and saw Nick standing there, his eyes locked on mine. I raised an eyebrow and joked, “What’s the matter, Nicolas? You don’t miss me?”
Nick continued to stare at me, still in disbelief. “I’m just trying to process everything,” he said, his voice filled with awe. “I can’t believe this is even fucking real?! You’re really here.”
I couldn’t help but smile as I saw the shock on Nick’s face. I walked towards him and wrapped my arms around him in a tight embrace. “I really am here,” I reassurance, my voice soft and sincere.
Nick stood frozen for a moment, still processing the fact that I was actually here in front of him. Then, his arms encircled me tightly, pulling me even closer. “I missed you so much,” he murmured into my ear.
I melted into his embrace, feeling the warmth and comfort of his arms around me. “I missed you too, so much,” I whispered, burying my face into his chest.
As Nick and I held each other tightly, Matt and Chris, standing nearby, noticed a tear rolling down Nick's face. Their expressions softened at the sight, realizing how much Nick had truly missed me.
Chris couldn’t resist the opportunity to tease Nick. “Nick is crying, poor baby!” he japed.
Nick and I pulled away from each other, and Nick tried to compose himself, wiping the tears from his face. “Shut up, Chris!” he protested, his voice cracking slightly.
My gaze softened as I looked at Nick, his vulnerability tugging at my heartstrings. I gently placed a hand on his back and spoke softly, “Don’t cry, Nick. It’s okay.”
Nick couldn’t help himself and pulled me into another tight hug. I could hear everyone chuckle softly at the scene unfolding before them, their laughter filled with warmth and affection.
Mary Lou smiled at the sight, and Jimmy had a proud glint in his eyes. Matt and Chris were grinning widely, clearly enjoying the moment as well.
As Nick held me close, he buried his face in the crook of my neck, his arms encircling my waist tightly. “I really did miss you,” he mumbled, his voice muffled against my skin.
I smiled warmly at Nick's confession, my heart filled with affection for him. “I really missed you too, Nick,” I reassured, my voice soft. I couldn’t help but chuckle and gave his hair a playful tousle, knowing how much he despised messing up his hair.
I turned away from Nick and faced Matt, my smile widening. “Hello, Mr. Matthew,” I teased, opening my arms for a hug. Matt laughed and stepped forward, enveloping me in a tight embrace.
“It’s good to see you, Y/N,” he said, squeezing me softly before letting go. His eyes sparkled with warmth as he took in the sight of me standing in front of him.
As we pulled away, I couldn’t help but notice the mixture of nostalgia and joy in Matt’s gaze. It was clear that he had missed me just as much as the others had.
I looked at the boys, excitement gleaming in my eyes. “Wait, I have one more surprise,” I announced, pulling my phone out of pocket.
Matt, Nick, and Chris looked at me curiously, wondering what else was in store. As I pulled out my phone and saw a message from Nate, saying that he had just arrived outside the cabin. I had planned this surprise with him earlier.
“Hold on, stay here and close your eyes” I said, a mischievous grin on my face.
The triplets obediently closed their eyes, excitement and anticipation etched on their faces. I opened the door and ushered Nate inside, careful not to make too much noise and spoil the surprise.
Once Nate had entered the cabin, I turned back to the boys and instructed, “Okay, you can open your eyes now!”
The triplets opened their eyes and their jaws dropped in surprise. “Nathan?!” they exclaimed in unison.
Nate grinned and stepped forward, his arms spread wide. “Surprise!!” he proclaimed, his voice filled with excitement.
The triplets rushed forward and engulfed Nate in a group hug. Laughter and joy filled the room as the boys all embraced each other, their excitement palpable.
The four boys turned to me and beckoned me towards them. “Join us, Y/N!”
I chuckled and replied, “I’ll pass, don’t want to be squished by a bunch of men.”
Chris didn’t seem to take no for an answer, and he quickly grabbed my wrist and tugged me into the group hug, his grip firm but gentle.
I playfully tried to resist, but Chris was relentless, and before I knew it, I was engulfed in a massive group hug. The boys' arms were around me, trapping me in their embrace. Despite playfully protesting, I couldn’t help but feel a wave of warmth and affection wash over me.
As I stood there in the group hug, surrounded by the boys I had known since they were little, I realized that although they had grown taller and physically stronger they were still the same boys at heart. The playfulness, the teasing, and the camaraderie that had defined our friendship years ago still remained, albeit with a hint of maturity and a dash of boyish charm.
The warmth of their bodies pressed against mine, mixed with the familiar scent of their cologne and the sound of their laughter, created a comforting and familiar atmosphere. Despite the years that had passed, the bond we shared remained unbreakable.
The hug lasted a few moments longer before the boys finally released me. As I stepped back, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of love and nostalgia wash over me. The boys may have grown up, but in moments like this, it felt like we were still those teenagers, carefree and inseparable.
Nate's eyes sparkled with excitement as he proclaimed, “Let's party!!”
The other boys cheered in agreement, their voices filled with anticipation. The atmosphere in the cabin was electric, as they all eagerly discussed what kind of shenanigans they could get up to.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
Several hours had passed, and the boys had been engrossed in their laughter, conversations, and music. The sky outside had grown dark, and the evening breeze gently rustled through the trees.
Now, the triplets were gathered around a table, with a small birthday cake in front of them. The flickering candlelight cast shadows on their faces as they prepared to blow out their birthday candles.
Matt, Nick, and Chris were all sitting at the table, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of the candles on the cake. They exchanged glances, each of them silently communicating with each other. They knew what was coming.
Finally, they all took deep breaths, readying themselves for the moment. Their eyes gleamed with anticipation and a hint of mischief. And in unison, they blew out the candles, extinguishing the small flames with a single breath.
The room fell into a momentary silence as the candles were extinguished, a small wisp of smoke rising from where the flames once burned. And then, suddenly, the boys erupted into laughter, the sound filling the cabin.
The mood was light and happy, everyone enjoying the moment and the company of each other.
As the laughter subsided, everyone cheered and clapped, celebrating the triplets’ birthday. I walked over to my suitcase and rummaged through it, retrieving three presents wrapped in colorful wrapping paper.
“Happy Birthday,” I said, approaching each triplet and handing them their gift. Matt, Nick, and Chris looked at the gifts in their hands, their curiosity piqued.
Matt carefully unwrapped his gift, and a wide grin spread across his face. It was a plushie of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, his favorite character. He held the plushie, his eyes sparkling with appreciation.
“Oh my god! I love it!” Matt exclaimed gleefully, hugging the plushie close to his chest.
Chris eagerly tore open his gift next, and his jaw dropped open in genuine surprise. It was a Boston fitted hat, something he had been collecting, and it was perfect for his collection to return to LA.
“You know me too damn well!” Chris exclaimed, holding the hat and admiring it with a mixture of shock and happiness.
As Chris held the hat, he noticed something special. It was a limited edition version that had been sold out.
“Wait a minute...” Chris mused, examining the hat closely. “Is this... the same hat that was sold out? How did you managed to get this?”
His voice was filled with bewilderment and gratitude, as he realized that I had gone out of my way to track down this specific, limited edition hat for him. The excitement in his eyes was clear, as he held the hat up, marveling at the rarity of the item. “There was like one left online a week ago so I had it ordered and shipped to my place”
The other boys, watching the scene unfold before them, couldn't help but chuckle at Chris's reaction. They knew how much he valued his hat collection, and the fact that I had managed to find a sold-out hat for him had clearly left him speechless.
Chris stood up from his chair, still holding the hat in his hand. He walked around the table towards me, his smile genuine and filled with appreciation.
“Thank you,” he said, his voice sincere as he wrapped his arms around me in a tight hug. “This is seriously awesome. I can't believe you got this hat for me.”
I hugged him back, feeling his enthusiasm and gratitude in his embrace. “Of course, I knew how much you wanted it,” I replied, chuckling lightly. “It wasn't easy to track down, but seeing that look on your face makes it all worth it.”
Chris kept his arm around my shoulder, and the two of us turned our attention to Nick, eagerly awaiting his reaction to the gift I had chosen. Nick sat down in his chair, his eyes fixed on the present in his lap.
Nick carefully unwrapped the package, his curiosity and anticipation building with each layer of paper he removed. And when he finally revealed what was inside, a wide smile spread across his face.
As Nick unveiled the contents of the present, his eyes widened in astonishment. It was a collection of vintage clothes and cameras, something that perfectly aligned with his passion for photography.
Nick's smile grew even wider, and he looked up at me, his expression filled with gratitude and disbelief.
“Y/N, this is amazing,” he exclaimed, running his fingers over the vintage clothes and taking in the details of the cameras. “You seriously nailed it. I can't believe you got me this stuff. It's perfect.” Nick stood up from his chair, holding the vintage items in his arms.
As Nick admired the cameras, a playful grin crept across my face. “Now you have a variety of cameras to play around with,” I teased, poking him on the shoulder. “You're going to have a blast with those, taking all kinds of unique shots.”
Nick chuckled at my words, his eyes lighting up with excitement. “I can't wait to test them out and experiment with different styles,” he said, holding one of the cameras in his hand. “Maybe I'll even do a photo shoot with you as the model!”
Chris, ever the instigator, got excited at the idea and quickly chimed in, “You should try it right now! Everyone, gather around!” He gestured for Matt, Nate, and their parents to join us.
With everyone surrounding me, Nick raised his camera, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. He was clearly eager to test out his new camera.
The air was filled with laughter and anticipation as I found myself in the center, surrounded by faces I loved. Nick positioned himself, adjusting the camera to get the perfect angle.
“Say cheese!” he exclaimed, his finger hovering over the shutter button, ready to capture the moment.
Chris, always up for a good time, couldn't resist the opportunity to be playful. As we posed for the photo, he suddenly said, “One more!”
Before I could react, Chris leaned in and planted a quick kiss on my cheek, catching me off guard. The others cackled and chuckled at the spontaneous gesture.
I felt my cheeks flush slightly, a mix of surprise and amusement washing over me. I playfully swatted at Chris, pretending to be annoyed, but couldn't help but burst into laughter alongside everyone.
As the laughter subsided, I suggested, “Alright, let me take the picture this time. I want one with all of you together.”
Nick handed me the camera, a smile on his face. “Sure, let's do it,” he agreed
We rearranged ourselves, with the boys standing in front of their parents, arms around each other. I raised the camera, framing them in the viewfinder.
“Ready?” I asked, taking a moment to adjust the camera settings. They all nodded, their faces filled with anticipation. I counted down, “Three, two, one... Smile!”
Click!
I captured the picture, preserving the moment in a single snapshot. The boys stood there, their arms around each other, smiles on their faces, and their parents at their side, creating a picture-perfect memory.
“Got it,” I said, checking the preview of the photo on the camera. It looked great, a candid and heartwarming shot of the triplets and their family, captured just a moment ago.
The boys gathered around me, eager to see the picture. “Let's see it,” Matt said, his voice filled with curiosity.
As they huddled around me, I turned the camera around, revealing the photo to them. A collective gasp of approval and appreciation escaped their lips.
The atmosphere was light and festive as Chris and Matt started to cut the birthday cake, preparing to share slices with each other. But just as it seemed like everyone was occupied, Nick lingered back, deliberately staying behind. He turned to me with a smirk on his face, standing in front of me.
“What are you up to?” I asked, a hint of suspicion in my voice as I looked at Nick. He leaned closer, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, and just when I thought he was about to say something, he simply flashed me a cheeky smile.
Nick's smile softened, and his gaze met mine. For a brief moment, the usual banter and teasing faded, and a genuine sense of happiness washed over him.
“I'm glad you're here,” he said, his voice sincere. “Having you with us makes this birthday even more special.”
I chuckled, my eyes sparkling mischievously as I replied, “Don't get soft on me now. I'm used to your sass and teasing.”
Nick chuckled, the banter returning to our usual dynamic. “Oh, don't worry. I'm not getting soft,” he said, his smirk returning. “Just wanted to balance the smartassery with some sappy moments.”
I couldn't help but laugh, enjoying our familiar banter. “Yeah, yeah. We can't have too much syrupy sweetness here,” I teased. “It might give us cavities.”
Nick mock-groaned, rolling his eyes dramatically. “Oh no, not the cavities! We can't have that,” he exclaimed. “But seriously, balance is key. Too much sarcasm, and we might turn into cynical jerks. Too much sweetness, and we'll turn into sap monsters.”
Our chuckles died down as we turned our attention to Matt and Chris, who were now engaged in a war with the cake frosting.
Matt had a smear of icing on his cheek, his face a mix of annoyance and laughter. Chris, on the other hand, held a finger full of frosting, aiming it at Matt's face for another attack.
As Matt and Chris continued their frosting battle, I shook my head, amused by their antics.
Turning back to Nick, I smiled. “Happy 21st birthday, Birthday boy,” I said, my voice warm with sincerity.
As I was about to step away, I added, like “Also don’t tell Matt and Chris but once we’re in LA I’ll take you out shopping, just you and me time” I said
With a smile, Nick replies, “I look forward to it.”
I walk over to Matt and Chris, who are now separated but still covered in frosting. Matt has already started wiping his face, but I turn my attention to Chris, grabbing a napkin to help.
“You two are like little kids,” I say, shaking my head as I gently wipe the frosting off Chris's face.
I continued to clean up Chris's face, using another napkin to wipe away the last bit of frosting. Meanwhile, Matt chuckles at the scene, the evidence of their frosting war still on his shirt.
“What am I going to do with you two?” I ask, a mix of amusement and mock-exasperation in my tone.
They both grin, clearly unrepentant for their antics. “Aw, come on, Y/N. We're just having some fun,” Chris replies, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Yeah, can't blame us for enjoying our birthday celebration,” Matt adds, his tone lighthearted.
I can't help but chuckle, shaking my head at their antics once more. “Just try not to turn this cabin into a complete mess,” I say, holding up the frosting-covered napkin.
The triplets exchange glances, their smiles widening. “No promises,” they chime in unison, their mischief clearly not yet sated.
As I wipe the last bit of frosting from Chris's face, I notice the twins exchange a sly glance, as if hatching a new plan.
“Oh no, what are you two planning now?” I ask, my voice filled with mild concern.
They look at me with innocent expressions that fail to hide their mischief. Chris is the first to speak. “We have an idea for Nick...”
Chris’s words are met with a sly grin from Matt, who adds, “Yeah, we want Nick to have some extra birthday fun.”
I narrow my eyes at them, bracing myself for whatever scheme they've devised. “And by 'extra birthday fun,' you mean...?” I ask cautiously.
Chris grins mischievously, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
“You’ll see,” he says cryptically, sharing a subtle wink with Matt.
Meanwhile, Matt holds the cake in his hands, his grip tight. He calls out to Nick, his voice filled with playful energy. “Nick! Come here!”
The boys begin chasing Nick around the cabin, the cake in Matt's hand held high, as if ready to pummel him with frosting.
Nick, realizing the danger, lets out a laugh and starts running, dodging furniture and trying to avoid getting too close to his frosting-wielding brothers.
“Oh no, you don’t!” Chris exclaims, determined to get Nick.
Matt, cake in hand, joins the chase, closing the distance between himself and Nick. They work together to surround him, their eyes filled with determination and laughter. “You're not getting away that easily,” Matt warns, brandishing the cake like a weapon.
The boys, with mischievous grins, finally corner Nick, who looks both amused and slightly concerned. I grab my phone from the table and start recording, capturing the scene unfolding: Matt and Chris surrounding Nick with the cake poised in Matt's hand, ready for a frosting attack.
Chris and Matt exchange a look, silently counting down. “Three, two, one...”
On the count of one, they pounce, smearing frosting on Nick's face, laughter filling the air. I capture the moment on camera, ensuring not to miss a single detail of the playful chaos.
Nick protests playfully, trying to shield his face from the assault, though his laughter betrays his enjoyment.
As I continue filming, I can't help but chuckle, enjoying the lighthearted atmosphere and the bond between the boys.
“Okay, okay, I surrender!” Nick exclaims, his voice filled with laughter.
Matt and Chris continue to tease him, using the cake's frosting to leave colorful streaks on his face. The camera captures every moment of the frosting battle, preserving the birthday memory.
As the cake frosting battle winds down, the boys are laughing, Nick's face now decorated with colorful streaks. I put down the phone, still chuckling at the playful scene.
“You guys are a handful,” I say, shaking my head with affectionate amusement.
Nick wipes his face, a wide grin on his face. “You could have joined in, you know,” he teases.
As I put the phone down, enjoying the playful scene, I hear Nick's teasing words. I turn to him, a smile on my face, when I spot the mischievous grins on Chris and Matt's faces.
“Oh no...” I murmur, realizing they have their sights set on me now.
The boys, fueled by their mischievous energy, charge at me, the cake frosting their chosen weapon.
I let out a squeal of surprise and try to defend myself, but their combined force is too much for me to handle. They pounce on me, giggling as they smear frosting on my face and clothes.
The cabin is filled with laughter as Matt, Nick, and Chris all contribute to spreading the frosting on me. They take turns, giggling and exchanging playful banter while I playfully protest. It's a moment of pure lightheartedness, where the joy and bond between us overshadows any mess being made.
Author’s Note: again sorry for the late birthday post!! 400 special soon!!!

Name: Donald Duck Age: 42 Height: 6'0 Pronouns: He/Him Sexuality: Bisexual Occupation: Navy veteran/full-time uncle (currently between jobs) Zodiac: Gemini sun, Aries moon, Taurus rising Faceclaim: Sebastian Stan
Description
As the older twin brother, Donald has had the reputation of being protective since he was young. It originated from having a sister like Della Duck, who was seemingly fearless and extremely impulsive. Donald will always love his twin sister to death, but her thrill-seeking has always been stressful for him, and that never seemed to change. Unlike Della, Donald prioritizes family and safety over adventuring. Not that he doesn't love a good adventure here and there, but with his track-record of terrible luck it was always a risk. Donald simply takes a moment to think things through first when he can before jumping in, while Della was far too impatient to do that ever.
Between Della and Uncle Scrooge always seeking adventure, it was no wonder that Donald often felt like the black-sheep of the family. He already struggled to fit in growing up, especially with his speech disorder that resulted in a majority of people to misunderstand what he was ever saying. His outlet for feeling like an outcast was music, writing his own songs and playing guitar almost daily in his teenage years. He even had a band with two of his friends, but once he turned 18, he made the decision to seek change and possibly build a future career for himself — so he joined the navy as soon as he was old enough. He always had a special love for the ocean, and he wanted to get out there in the world and have some new experiences without his family's influences. He learned a lot about himself while he was enlisted those 4 years, especially self-discipline. Donald had expected that the navy was going to change his life, but he had no idea that once he returned his life would never be the same.
Coming back to Uncle Scrooge's, he was met with the surprise that Della was pregnant with triplets! With the father nowhere in the picture, Donald was glad he came home just in time to help Della with the boys. It wasn't something he was exactly prepared for, raising kids when he knew nothing about them, but he would do anything for his sister, so he never had a second thought about it.
When the boys were born, it wasn't long before Della started growing antsy. She never had to be so responsible and be stuck at home so much, so it was clearly a difficult adjustment for her. Don grew suspicious when his twin began to act secretive, but with his full attention on the triplets, he only hoped that his sister was smart enough to think about her boys before doing something she regretted. Then one morning, he woke up and Della was gone, only a note left behind that said where she was off to. He was frustrated beyond belief, unable to help but put blame on Scrooge, who had planned to surprise her with a portal he'd learned about. Unfortunately, she sniffed out the surprise before he could even reveal it.
Of course, they assumed that Della would come back in a few days, and they could get on her case on how irresponsible she was and move on, but days turned into weeks ... and weeks turned into months ... the triplets were getting older and older, and eventually Donald had enough. He snapped, him and Uncle Scrooge breaking out into another argument about Della as he blamed him for not doing more to get her back. Donald took the triplets and they moved into his houseboat after that, not returning to Scrooge's again until the triplets accidentally set the houseboat on fire years later. Since then, things have improved between Scrooge and Donald. They always butt heads at the end of the day, but Donald is happy that they've stayed at the manor with the triplets, Webby and even Beakley. Now that the boys are grown up, Donald isn't as busy raising them, but he argues that they are still just as much of a handful as they were when they were kids. In reality, he just loves them and wants to protect them. He wasn't able to protect their mother, so in his mind, protecting them helps make up for that.
Headcanons
Donald is convinced that he is just cursed with bad luck. He literally ends up in the most bizarre situations that sometimes people just don't believe him (if they can even understand the whole story anyway). Getting on the wrong bus and ending up on the opposite end of the isle? Check. Going to get a hair trim and coming home with a buzzcut? Check. Hitting every red light coming home from a long, exhausting day? Check, check, check.
With constant bad luck comes a terrible temper. Donald has had to go to anger management and counceling for years, his speech disorder worsening when he gets panicked or angry. He also goes to a speech therapist, focusing on ennunciating his words better and not jumbling them all together. He has good and bad days with his speech, but those that are close to him tend to understand him better than strangers.
Sometimes, Donald’s bad luck eases up on him. He felt like the luckiest man alive the night of Mickey and Minnie’s wedding when he first officially met Daisy. His singing skills worked in his favor with Daisy instantly swooned, and since then she’s been the only woman Donald’s ever given his heart to. Their relationship has been far from easy, with many bumps in the road including when Della first left. Donald moved in with Mickey and Goofy for extra support with the triplets, and eventually he and Daisy randomly decided that they should get married. All of their friends were married after all, and they loved each other, so what was the harm in going to the courthouse and getting it out of the way? Despite getting married though, they still had their issues, falling on and off again for a long time. This was partly why they continued to keep the marriage a secret in the beginning.
The secret was kept for a few years, and it wasn’t until the triplets learned about Uncle Scrooge that they also learned that Donald and Daisy were husband and wife. Donald wasn't proud of how their relationship had played out, knowing it wasn't a great example for the boys who obviously needed stability and structure in their lives, but Daisy is still an aunt to them no matter what is going on between her and Donald. They’ve continued having their ups and downs since then, including a temporary split up before the recent family tragedy. They still care about each other and support each other through everything, but Daisy hasn’t returned to live back with her husband despite that she still helps with Louie and the rest of the family. Donald hopes he can be a better man for his wife and fix what’s been broken, because no matter what they’ve gone through, she’ll always be the love of his life.
Donald is majorly insecure, even if he's good at hiding it. He was always jealous of his best friend Mickey growing up and how popular and charming he always was. Donald was a hot mess compared to him, and between his speech disorder and his constant ability to get himself in insane situations, it's no wonder that he's always struggled with low self-esteem.
Despite his speech disorder, Donald is actually great at doing impressions. It's one of his very few skill sets.
He has had so many jobs over the years, never able to hold one down because of some reason or another. When he's between jobs, he'll often do random odd jobs for money like house-sitting, pet-sitting, dog-walking, or simply helping locals with their daily errands.

Growing Family
MASTERLIST
Woo I’m finally back to writing some! It feels like it’s been a lot longer than it actually has since I’ve posted a new fic. I hate to disappoint, but this is just fluffy daddy Spencer today, but I am working on a few new smuts that should be coming up next so stay tuned for those! Also shout out to @velventeenaries for coming up with some of the lines Rossi said when we were having a convo on this situation. Thus, the inspiration for this fic was born. Happy reading!
Spencer Reid/Reader
Rating: G (fluff)
Word Count: 2,557
“Penny G at your service, how may I help you?”
You smiled at the familiar female voice that came through the speakers of your car.
“Hey Penelope,” you said.
“Y/N! My favorite non-BAU chica! What can I do for you, today?”
You chuckled knowing good and well the chipper, eccentric and kind hearted blonde was most likely swinging in her chair, twirling a feathery pen in her hands as you spoke.
“I was just curious if the rest of the team was back yet? If so, I wanted to swing by before heading home. I just got out of my doctor’s appointment.”
“Please tell me you have ultrasound pics!” Penelope’s voice grew in excitement.
“That I do,” you grinned.
“Okay, good. Yes, they’re here and you better be here in 5 minutes or less or I will hunt you down for those pictures. PG out.”
You shook your head, exasperated by the usual antics of Penelope Garcia. She was basically the fairy godmother tech analyst of the Behavioral Analysis Unit—the department of the FBI where your husband Spencer worked.
Just recently in the last few months, you and Spencer had found out you were pregnant. Being that it was yours and his first baby, the excitement was unreal but it wasn’t just limited to the two of you. The rest of the BAU were just as excited too.
Garcia was maybe on another level of excitement though. She was already planning on things to buy for the newest BAU baby. It had been almost four years since a new little bundle of joy had arrived within the extended BAU family. Rose Mary Simmons, the fifth and final child of team member Matt Simmons and his wife Kristy, was no longer a baby. She was speeding towards four and would be starting kindergarten in only a year and a half.
“You know I love all my godsons and goddaughters,” Penelope had told you, not long after you and Spencer had announced your happy event, “But I need more baby love in my life and thank God you’re having a baby. I will happily babysit any time you want.”
“Oh, Garcia,” you snickered to yourself, thinking back on the memory as you maneuvered your car through the busy D.C. traffic.
As you’d told Garcia, you’d just gone to your latest doctor’s appointment. You were about 15 weeks along and already showing more than you expected to, which peaked your curiosity. If you were to guess, you could easily pass for 5 almost 6 months pregnant, not barely 4.
You had planned to ask the doctor at today’s appointment if she was sure it wasn’t twins. You had a strong feeling it was. Being only 15 weeks though, you’d only had one prior ultrasound around 7 weeks—not long after you’d discovered your pregnancy and even then, the ultrasound had revealed only one heartbeat. Typically, an expectant mother didn’t have another ultrasound until around 20 weeks, obviously to determine the sex, but your doctor thought it best to check. If anything, it was possible that you were just carrying further forward than usual. According to Spencer—and the many times he’d told you this—it was extremely possible it was just the way your body carried pregnancy. You knew well enough that bump sizes varied greatly.
You’d hoped Spencer could join you for today’s appointment—one that had been scheduled last month—but unfortunately, he’d been away on a case with the team and was on the way home.
You told him you could easily reschedule, but he heard nothing of it.
“You’re going today. Just to make sure little one is okay. You can show me the pictures when we’re back,” he’d said to you, earlier that morning, over the phone.
You’d reluctantly agreed.
But now, you couldn’t help but smile at the little secret you had.
•
“There she is!” Garcia squealed, running towards you practically the moment you stepped foot out of the elevator.
“Hey, Penelope,” you smiled, embracing your friend.
“How are we feeling?” she grinned, pulling away to rub your bump, “Is it twins like you thought?”
You chuckled, knowing Garcia wasted no time in getting to the point.
“Well, about that…” you took her arm, walking with her into the doors of the BAU.
-
You’d filled Garcia in on the way towards the briefing room where most of the team had settled for the time being, just trying to relax after the trip home. If her huge smile was any indicator, Spencer would know before you could even get the words out.
“Whoa! If it isn’t baby mama Reid,” Luke grinned, coming to give you a brotherly side hug, “Wow, you’re enormous.”
Garcia’s eyes widened, swinging an arm out to hit Luke’s chest—hard.
“Ow! Uh enormously beautiful I mean. You’re glowing,” he tried to cover.
“Nice save,” you laughed, heading over to your husband, who was anxiously awaiting to wrap his arms around you.
“You idiot,” you heard Penelope mumble to Luke, “You never tell a pregnant woman how big they are.”
You bit back a laugh and melted into Spencer’s embrace. He’d been gone for almost a week and you’d missed him, a lot.
“Hi, baby,” he grinned, picking you up as he hugged you.
You bent your legs slightly as you were lifted a few inches off the ground and hugged his neck, tightly.
“Soon you won’t be able to do this,” you laughed, then waved to the rest of the team in the room, “Hi guys.”
You patted Spencer’s shoulder lightly.
“Spence, set me down long enough so I can say hi to everyone and not be rude,” you laughed.
He obliged with a grin, giving a quick pat to your bump and you went to hug Tara, JJ and Matt.
“What’d you find out?” JJ asked, “Spence mentioned you had a doctor’s appointment today.”
“Well…” you trailed off, nervously.
“Is the baby okay?!” Spencer asked, his face morphing into panicked concern, his brows furrowed.
“Everything’s fine,” you reassured quickly, “But it’s not just a baby,” you said hesitantly.
His eyebrows rose, looking shocked.
“It’s twins?”
“Not exactly,” you laughed hesitantly, “We’re having triplets.”
Spencer looked as shocked as you felt when the technician had told you the same news. To know you weren’t growing one baby but three.
He stood for a second, blinking at you in surprise. You were about to say something when you suddenly realized how pale he was. He swayed on his feet before falling backwards.
“Spence!”
“Spencer!”
“Reid!”
Everyone shouted at once, your shriek of his name probably the loudest. They all moved into action at once as you stood horrified, afraid something was terribly wrong.
Luckily, Matt had been quick enough to catch Spencer before he hit the ground. With he and Luke on either side, they managed to sit him in one of the chairs, his head lolling back.
“Is he okay? What’s wrong?” you asked, quickly at his side, not knowing exactly what to do.
“He’s fine, he just passed out, that’s all,” Tara reassured you.
You nodded in relief, taking a seat in a chair next to him, taking his hand.
There was a commotion at the door and you looked over, seeing David Rossi running in—unit chief Emily Prentiss on his heels.
“What’s all the noise about?” Rossi asked, eyeing Spencer, “What happened?”
“Spencer fainted and Y/N’s having triplets!” Garcia exclaimed.
Rossi’s eyes flickered to Spencer once again.
“Nah, kid’s just sleeping. Making up for the next 18 years of it he’s gonna lose.”
“Dave,” Emily sighed, exasperated, coming over to bend down and hug you.
“Congrats,” she grinned, “Not only are you having triplets, but you’re the only person that’s made Spencer faint.”
You laughed a bit.
“Definitely wasn’t my intention.”
“He’ll be fine,” Rossi waved a hand.
Just as he said that, a groaning came from your right and you looked over, to see Spencer stirring.
“What did I tell you?” Rossi said, coming over to give his congratulations with a big smile.
“Bouna fortuna,” he grinned, giving you a kiss on each cheek.
“What happened?” Spencer groaned, his hand slipping from your grip to rub at his eyes.
“You just got the shock of your life, kid,” Rossi snickered.
“The last thing I remember is you saying triplets and everything went black,” Spencer said.
“Yeah, you fainted,” you tried to hold back your grin and failed.
“Are we really having triplets?” Spencer asked, eyes wide once again.
“I’m afraid we are,” you grinned.
His look of surprise quickly turned into one of excitement. He grabbed your face, kissing you hard, not caring about kissing you in front of the others. The rest of the team whistled, clapped and laughed, their joy just as huge as your own.
Rossi’s following remark made Spencer pull away from your lips and laugh. Your mouth curved upwards and joined him.
“Don’t forget! David is a great name for a boy!”
•
Everyone was gathered at your baby shower. You had been speechless when you first saw the amount of stacked diapers and wipes—along with at least 5 diaper cakes from different team members. You were sure that those would last maybe a week or two with three babies to change.
“Kid, come on! We’re a family! I’ll be grandpa Dave! We can get matching shirts that say Big Dave and Little Dave!”
You laughed, overhearing Rossi’s exclamations to Spencer, all the way from the food table.
Months had passed and your belly had grown exponentially. You could hardly believe that your body was capable of carrying three precious little babies.
Even though your belly was covered in stretch marks, your back hurt and your feet were swollen, you couldn’t be happier. You and Spencer would soon start a new chapter in your lives—a scary one, albeit exciting one too.
Only a few weeks after your reveal of the babies to Spencer and the BAU team, the two of you had discovered you were welcoming two girls and one boy. Ever since then, Rossi had been hounding you about naming the baby after him.
Unbeknownst to him, you and Spencer had already picked out names and were going to surprise Rossi after they were born. But due to his current banter with Spencer, you knew you wouldn’t be able to hold the secret for any longer.
“Rossi,” you grinned, very much waddling over to the two men, “You're incorrigible.”
“I know. It’s the Italian in me,” he replied, nonchalantly.
“Well, much to Spencer’s dismay I’m sure, you’ll be happy to know you’re getting your wish,” you said.
Rossi looked stunned for a moment. You were positive this was the only time in the years you’d known him that he’d ever been stunned speechless like this.
“We decided to name our son David Gabriel Reid,” Spencer beamed, “We didn’t want to cause any confusion on names, so we’re going to call him Gabriel, but he can still be your little Dave if you want.”
It finally looked like it had sunk in when Rossi pulled both you and Spencer into a big hug, smiling bigger than you’d ever thought possible.
“That’s perfectly fine by me,” he grinned, kissing the tops of yours and Spencer’s heads, “I’m gonna teach him to play ball and how to cook spaghetti carbonara.”
“Don’t forget, you’ll have two little girls to deal with too,” Spencer laughed.
“Oh don’t you worry. They’ll learn how to cook and drop kick anyone who even looks at them the wrong way,” Rossi smirked.
“That, I don’t doubt,” you snickered.
“Speaking of,” Tara asked, popping up in the conversation, “When are you going to tell us what you’re naming your three little geniuses?”
“Yeah, I wanna know too,” Luke piped in, also walking up to the now small gathering.
JJ, Matt, Emily and Penelope followed behind him.
“Well if you didn’t catch it before, Baby A—the boy—is going to be David Gabriel,” Spencer beamed, “After the best father figure, mentor, co-worker, friend and member of this crazy BAU family. I couldn’t think of a better name to give my son.”
There were cheers all around as everyone lifted their glasses of champagne—apple juice for you—and clinked them together in celebration. You couldn’t help the huge grin that spread across your face to see how happy it made the well known, lovable, David Rossi.
“What about the girls’ names though?” Emily asked once the noise had settled down.
“Well there’s a bit of a backstory to that before we tell you the names,” Spencer began.
“We chose Gabriel’s name together because we already knew we wanted to actually make part of his name after Rossi, but we each picked a name, separately. One for each girl. Spencer decided on a name for baby B and I, baby C.”
“It’s also kinda funny what we both came up with,” Spencer interjected.
“Before the babies are born, kid!” Rossi said, “What are the names?”
“Baby B is Abrielle Jade—a name Y/N said she wanted to name a little girl on our very first date.”
Luke whistled.
“I’d be surprised that you remembered that but then again, you’re you.”
“Believe me, I’d forgotten I’d told him that, myself,” you chuckled.”
“And the other little girl is?” JJ prompted.
“Spensa Rae,” you said, looking at Spencer, a twinkle in your eye, “I wanted to name her after her daddy in some way, but it’s unique enough to be her own name as well. Rae is after my grandmother, too.”
“Those are the cutest names!” Garcia squealed, “Perfect timing time to give you my present for little Gabriel, Abrielle and Spensa then.”
She hobbled off in a partial run—not able to move too fast because of the grass in the backyard and her high heels—and grabbed three gift bags. She came back, handing them to you.
“Open it, open it!” she beamed.
You laughed at her excitement, pretty excited yourself. You handed one bag to Spencer as you reached into one bag, then the second, pulling out two matching onesies.
You looked over to see Spencer pulling out a third matching onesie from the gift bag you’d given him.
“Read the front,” Penelope beamed.
Opening one, you saw it read Rossi’s Sous Chef #2.
You laughed, opening the other which had the exact same thing printed on the front, but instead of the number 2, there was a number 3.
You peered at the one in Spencer’s hands, finding number one.
“Penelope, these are great!” you laughed, showing Rossi the outfits.
“These babies are going to be so loved,” Spencer smiled demurely, his eyes shining bright with tears.
“They will have plenty of people to love them,” Tara said with a bright smile.
“Lots of arms to hold them and cuddle them,” Luke added.
“Hands to help change diapers,” JJ piped in.
“Lots of kisses and bedtime stories,” Rossi said.
“Plenty of kids to play with them,” Matt chuckled.
“And a godmother to spoil them!” Garcia beamed.
“It’s not just your little family growing,” Emily smiled, coming to stand in between you and Spencer, wrapping an arm around each of you.
She looked around at the team that filled the backyard on this wonderful, summer evening, all gathered to celebrate the miracle of life.
“It’s our BAU family growing, too.”

I know a Glee Asoue AU would be cursed but I am curious... if YOU could imagine one, how would it be?
Oh, the things I do for you anons...
Rachel would be Violet
Kurt would be Klaus
I was first thinking Santana being Sunny, since the New York trio was iconic, but I think Brittany would be the best choice here.
Alright now, under the cut is what I think would happen through all the 13 books...
The Bad Beginning: I can’t decide if they would be triplets or just adopted siblings, but anyways, Rachel, Kurt and Brittany are all around the same age and they are chilling on the beach when suddenly Mrs. Hagberg (you know that teacher from Mckinley who teached a bunch of random classes and who Will took over as a history teacher from) comes to them like “your parents died in a terrible fire”. They must now go live with Sue Sylvester, a mean woman who makes them do chores and tedious tasks. She is also after their enormous fortune who their parents left behind and will be theirs when they come of age. She won’t be as cruel as Olaf, instead she just tries to get their fortunte by blackmailing the bankers and the authorities. But they caught her and the kids are sent away.
The Reptile Room: The kids are sent to Will Schuester, but he prefers to be called Mr. Schue or Will. He likes to sing and dance, and also has a bunch of reptiles for some reason! Brittany instantly befriends all the reptiles while Rachel and Kurt sing all the show tunes they can think of. But then!! Sue Sylvester shows up as a “inspector of reptiles” and calls Will out for breaking safety laws for both reptiles AND children. The kids are like “it’s Sue in a disguise, don’t trust her!” and Will tries to fix everything, but eventually loses and the authorities take the kids and reptiles away from him.
The Wide Window: The kids are sent to Emma Pillsbury, who is very afraid of germs. She is somehow okay with living in a pretty fucking dangerous house, as long as it is spot clean. That’s why she always makes the kids clean everywhere, everyday. Sue barely does anything, she just comes there and messes up the place and then blames the kids for it. Emma believes her and realises she cannot have messy kids in her house!! So she calls for authorities to pick them up. The children are like “hell no we won’t do this again” and runs away
The Miserable Mill: The kids run to an abandoned mill, where a bunch of other runaway kids are hiding. Their names are Mercedes, Finn, Mike, Artie, Tina and Sam. They soon learn all of them loves singing and to get food they usually sing on the streets, or straight up steal. After hearing Kurt and Rachel’s singing voices and Brittany’s dance moves, they are more than welcome into the gang. They have fun and bond with them, until Mrs. Hagberg spots them all in the street once and is like “Oh my god, all the runaway children!!”. Apparently everyone of them has had to deal with Mrs. Hagberg so they all groan as she gets the authorities on them all.
The Austere Academy: Rachel, Kurt and Brittany end up at a school where they meet Santana and Blaine. They are siblings, but their sister Quinn perished in the fire with their parents (atleast, that’s what they think...) The school is miserable as can be, all the other students mock them and there’s not even a theatre club! However, the kids find comfort in Santana and Blaine, especially Brittany and Kurt, who grow quite fond of them. They share some happy and sweet moments with them and then Sue comes and ruins it all. She’s the new gym teacher and decides to let all orphans run laps for several hours every night... in the end, Santana gets pissed of being treated like that and tells Sue one thing or another about what she thinks... which makes Sue fucking kidnap her and Blaine.
The Ersatz Elevator: Rachel, Kurt and Brittany must rescue Santana and Blaine at all costs! By chasing after Sue they eventually get to the rich neighborhood of town. Before they know it, a rich man named Mr. Motta and his daughter Sugar is like “Oh my god, orphans! We need to take them in!!” and just takes them into their penthouse in a building with 69 floors. They are nice to the kids, but they are also pretty stupid. Rachel soon realises Santana and Blaine are hidden in the bottom of an elevator shaft and asks the Mottas for help getting them up from there. But right as they are about to ask, Sue arrives dressed as a “fancy rich person” and brainwashes the Mottas to push the kids down the shaft... where a net is capturing them.
The Vile Village: Sue smuggles Rachel, Kurt, Brittany, Santana and Blaine out of town. To annoy her, the kids start to sing show tunes. Eventually she grows so tired of it she lets them out “to play” for a little while, saying that they won’t dare to run away because then she will drive them over with her car. But what she doesn’t know is that Santana found a syringe Sue has to make her victims sleep, and she stabs Sue with it. Then they all run away towards a nearby village. They explain the situation to the villagers, who tells them to join their cult so no dangerous people can get them. The kids are like “wtf no” and goes away. Though, one villager stops them and whispers that he has a secret self-sustaining hot air mobile home that he is happy to give to them so they can fly away. He even shows them it and it actually seems to be running very smoothly. The kids decide to take it. The man starts it for them, making it fly up, and then he climbs down and tells them how to run it and so on. However, as the kids start climbing up, Sue arrives and tries to literally shoot the mobile home down. Santana and Blaine, who already has climbed up, has to take it higher into the sky... but that will mean the other kids can’t climb on! ;-; But they have to, if they don’t want to crash. As they do, the villagers see Sue and captures her, while Rachel, Kurt and Brittany run off.
The Hostile Hospital: The kids end up at a hospital, and Kurt is like “great, then we can get some treatment for our trauma”. They meet the Volunteers Fighting Disease and gets thrilled, because they get to sing!! But as they are having fun singing with the volunteers, Sue sneaks behind them and kidnaps Rachel. She then uses anesthesia on her to put her to sleep and prepares her for surgery. Brittany and Kurt has to dress up as doctors to get inside the surgery room and rescue Rachel. As they do, they hide as Sue tries to chase them. When she can’t find them, she decides to take her car and drive away. The kids know for a fact Sue never checks her own trunk, so they hide there.
The Carnivorous Carnival: Sue stops her car outside a carnival to use the bathroom, and the kids sneak out. They watch her go back to the car and continue driving, so they think they are safe now. The carnival seems to be abandoned, so they just walk around until they find twins named Madison and Mason. They tell them they are “freaks” because they are “creepy looking twins who say the same things together too often”. Rachel is like “noo you’re not freaks you’re normal” and they won’t listen and have decided this is the place where they belong. They tell the kids that they get food and stuff from the fortune lady (who is that girl pitching Rachel’s TV show in 5x20). Though, she seems ditzy as fuck so the kids don’t talk to her. Suddenly, Sue comes back to the carnival and so the kids panic and decide to dress up. Kurt gets a long fake beard and wig, Rachel puts on a clown costume and Brittany literally cuts her hair and walks backwards. Sue doesn’t seem to recogonise them, until she asks Brittany to help her with her car. From there, she stuffs her into the car and drives off. The the fortune lady comes out and is like “oh but I have a taxi you can take that and drive after them”
The Slippery Slope: Neither Kurt or Rachel can drive but they try their best. Sadly, the taxi runs out of gas and they have to climb the mountain up. However, they get lost and end up with some snow scouts, who are just chilling in a cave. As everyone goes to sleep, one snow scout is like “I know who you are” and makes Kurt and Rachel follow them through a secret passage. As they reach some kind of... burned down mansion, the snow scout explains that this was the headquarters of a burned down secret organisation. Rachel and Kurt are incredibly confused hearing this, but ok?? The snow scouts reveals to be Quinn, the presumed dead sister of Santana and Blaine. Rachel and Kurt believe her, mostly because they had seen pictures of her that Santana and Blaine had carried around, so it must be her. Also, who would just lie about that too? Meanwhile, Brittany is forced by Sue to do a bunch of tedious chores on the mountain top. When Sue isn’t looking, Brittany peeks over the frozen waterfall. She notices three people on the ground and she waves at them. She doesn’t dare to yell if Sue would hear her. Luckily, those three people were Rachel, Kurt and Quinn. All three want to climb up, but in case it’s a trap they decide one should stay on the ground and keep a lookout. Quinn insists that she and Rachel should climb up and Kurt is like “ok”. As they climb up, they have a “very lovely indeed” moment and Kurt sees it all, so he is like “ffs” and starts to climb up after them. Eventually they all end up on the mountain top and confront Sue, who just smirks at them. But then Brittany finds a sledge and they all jump on it and slide down the frozen waterfall. But soon they enter a stream and Quinn falls off! And gets sent into the other direction of the stream! But she promises to meet them again!
The Grim Grotto: The kids end up at a submarine run by the Puckerman brothers, Noah and Jake. They are nice to them, but they have both a shared trauma over their father just leaving them, which leads to them having a lot of bitterness. They easily get angry and can have outbursts when you least expect it. Rachel, Kurt and Brittany act a bit as therapists for the troubled brothers, sharing their own traumas and stuff. They also ask about the secret organisation thing and the Puckermans tell them there is in fact a secret organisation that’s more of a fire cult. Their family used to be a part of it and the organisation all just hate each other and light each other’s houses on fire. So it’s a mess. Eventually, a telegram is sent to the submarine. It’s from Quinn, who somehow knew they were on there, and tells them to meet her at a hotel in the city. The Puckermans take them there and tells them good luck. Sue doesn’t show up, just like she didn’t show up in TMM, because I just think sometimes we gotta let them have a rest.
The Penultimate Peril: A taxi pulls up next to the shore and tells the kids to jump in. The taxi driver is named Shelby Corcoran and she tells them she met Quinn after they got separated, but that Quinn won’t show up at the hotel until later, because she recently found her siblings flying by the self-sustaining hot air mobile home and decided to try to get to them. However, there are some weird people in the hotel and Rachel, Kurt and Brittany have to act as concierges to get information on them. They are unsure, but honestly they don’t have anything better to do so why not? The hotel is run by the Figgins siblings - Principal Figgins and Abgail Figgins. The sister and brother looks identical, but they are both, according to Shelby, complete idiots, so they won’t be of any help. As the kids get into the hotel, the discover Will and Emma, who apparently now are a couple, and also Sugar Motta with her dad. They eavesdrop on their conversations, but nothing really important happens. Then Sue arrives. The kids become tense and want to hide. Then they realise they can report her to the Figgins siblings! The Figgins siblings are like “wow! A criminal! We must have a trial!” and then they just have a trial in the middle of the lobby?? The kids are a bit happy at first, but then they realise the Figgins siblings know nothing about trials, so they just escape. There’s a boat just lying next to the hotel and they take it and sail away.
The End: As they sail away, Sue has also escaped the trial and swims after them. Brittany starts to splash water in her face as Rachel starts to sing show tunes to annoy her and Kurt tries to make the boat go faster. Suddenly, a wave sends them off, making them separate from Sue. They end up on a tropical island, where they once and for all can rest. Even better is when Santana, Blaine and Quinn arrive after seeing them sail away from up in the sky. They all live a happy life on the island and occasionally send letters to the main land, checking up with the people. Apparently, Sue just gave up or something after the kids sailed away and turned herself in. The kids live on the island until they turn 18 and decide to sail back to the shores to get their fortunes. Happy endings for all.
So, yeah. I just wrote directly from my head down everything, so much doesn’t make sense every time. But it doesn’t have to, because I was just pitching it.

The Story of Merida and Hiccup- prologue and part 1
Once. In Scotland, a Great War began between the Scottish and the Vikings. A Viking tribe called the Hairy Hooligans, led by their new chef. Stoick the Vast sailed to find a new home away from the dragons that plagued their land of Berk. At the time the clans of Scotland weren't on good terms, attacking each other so the Vikings thought they could come in and build their new homes, without the Scots knowing but they found them, the clans bonded together and fought the Vikings off. The Scottish clans cheered as the Vikings left on their boats, Stoick filled with rage, promised that he would return and finish what he'd started, once and for all. This battle united the Clans and they made the leader of Clans DunBroch, Fergus their King. The Clans were wary but time passed and the Vikings and the Hooligans did not return. Even if the Scots and Vikings paths never crossed, the hatred was still there and they would tell tales making the other heartless, violent monsters. Things may have still been this way but fate had other ideas.
Chapter 1-the Viking and the Princess
"And even if our spirits were crush, even if our bones ache, Stoick stood at the end of ship and told those barbarians. "I, Stoick the Vast will have my revenge on the lot of you. Once and for all"
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third sat by a table as Gobber was told young children about the tale of his dad's battle with the Scots in the great hall.
He disliked this story ever since he was little, he won't sure why. Maybe because what he went toward this himself.
A soft groan made Hiccup smile and turned to his best friend, Toothless. The dragon smiled back before they continued watching Gobber.
"Yeah, that happened before I was born, it about my dad and the other Vikings travelling to Scotland. I don't think I ever went there"
"You did, when you were five" Hiccup and Toothless turned and looked behind them to see Hiccup's dad, Stoick. "It was your first trip outside Berk, I remember it well, mostly because you were seasick but you did managed to over it before we returned home"
"Yeah, I think I remember the last day at sea" Hiccup commented.
The big Viking chuckled before continuing "Well we never went near any shores that the Scots could spot us" he then noticed Gobber and the children had already leaved the hall. "It's getting late, time from bed"
It had been some months since Hiccup first met the Night Fury, the Vikings and Dragons now lived in harmony. Well as Vikings and Dragons could. Hiccup and his dad's relationship change for the better. In the past, Hiccup wanted to show Stoick and the other Vikings that he could be one of them but no matter what he did, it went wrong one way or another and the worst part was Stoick disappointed in him. That changed one night when Hiccup shout down a dangerous dragon, he found it and plan to kill it but he wouldn't do it. He released and befriended the dragon who his named Toothless. For a long time, Hiccup kept Toothless hidden pretty well but it didn't last long. His dad was more than angry and took Toothless away, they ten proved themselves by saving the Vikings and defeating a huge dragon called the Red Death. Hiccup and Toothless brought peace to their home.
They didn't have to walk far to their home. Hiccup could feel that his dad was bothered by something.
"Dad, when did we and the Scots began enemies? Hiccup asked.
"Actually, no one really knows now. It happened decades ago" Stoick sighed before adding "but what I try to do become one of losses of life" He said seriously clutching his thirst, even though it was terrible, he know the worst day of his life was.
"Dad, the past is the past. We move on, they've probably move on too." Hiccup explained.
"I know but it was a blow to my reputation, it made me question myself, if I was good enough as a leader but this war go beyond that, it's gone on for decades, you'll understand when you're older" Stoick told his son.
Hiccup looked over to Toothless who had a concerned as Stoick opened the door to their home. Stoick still had his Stoick moments but it's hasn't less and he and Hiccup become closer. Stoick listened to his son and he could talk without expecting much.
"Oh, I've got something for you son" Stoick said more cheerfully as Hiccup and Toothless was half way up the stairs. They came back down as Stoick opened his hand to reveal a wooden circle with curved design of a dragon, held by a string.
"I find this when it was looking for my axe" Stoick explained as Hiccup and Toothless looked at the necklace.
"Well it's...its nice and...ur it's interesting" Hiccup managed to ask while his dragon sniffed it.
"It was your mother's" Stoick then said which made both Hiccup and Toothless look up at him. Hiccup didn't know much about his mother, so finding something that had belonged to her was a big deal. "I gave her this when I ask her to marry me. And now, I want me to have it" and he placed this treasure into his son's hand. Hiccup looked closer at the wooden pendant; he slowly ran his hand around it. The pendant was definitely a better gift than the helmet.
"Thanks dad" he then said giving his dad a warm smile.
Stoick smiled in return before saying "Well I hope you will give to Astrid, I probably...
"Oh dad, me and Astrid, we're just friends" Hiccup quickly said.
"Oh," his dad replied clearly confused "I just though you two..."
"I know, I had a crush on her and she did kiss me but I don't want to rush into anything right now" the young Viking explained rubbing his neck nervously.
"Oh that's understandable" Stoick said but Hiccup could hear a bit of disappointment in his voice.
Hiccup heard a loud yawn; he could see Toothless was getting tried. "Ready for bed, aren't you bud" Hiccup said gently stoking his best friend's head.
"Well see you two in the morning, night son, night Toothless" Stoick said before turning and heading to his room.
"Good night dad" Hiccup said as he and his dragon climbed the stairs to Hiccup's room.
The young Viking laid on his bed, he looked over to the night fury who that was falling asleep. He kept looking at the necklace in his hand, rubbing the grooves. He wouldn't sure why but the story of the war still linger in his mind, now there was peace here and the Scots never attack them, so why was his father still thinking about it?
"Maybe in a few years, he'll let it go and think of the here and now" Hiccup thought to himself. He then put the necklace safe in his fur vest and soon he too was fast asleep.
At the same time in Scotland. The kingdom of DunBroch was winding down; many people were getting ready to bed down for the night. In the castle, the royal family were enjoying a story before bed. King Fergus was telling his four children about his and the other clans victory over the Vikings.
"...and soon they retreated back to their ships, we cheered till are lungs hurt" Fergus said lifted his sword as he spoke.
The children were dressed in their nightgowns, they all enjoyed the stories their dad told them. His tales were full of exciting fights, about far of landed and terrifying beasts. The triplets, Hamish, Hubert and Harris were sitting cross legged, grinning from ear to ear as they listened. Their older sister, Merida had her arms around her legs, picturing it all in her head. Queen Elinor listened along, while she sat sewing in a chair behind her children.
"Of course their leader vowed that he'll get revenge but we never heard of them again" Fergus continued putting the sword against the wall.
"Then what happened?" Merida asked.
"Well, we feasted for weeks and made the peace treaty between the clans and we never had any problems" her dad said.
"Never dear?" Elinor then added with a knowing smile to her husband.
"Ok, we're not perfect but we're trying" Fergus said chuckling slightly.
"And now, it's time for bed" Elinor then said, this was followed by groans from her children.
"Oh mum, it's too early" Merida said before letting out a loud yawn.
"It's about at this time you should all be asleep" her mum said helping Merida up as Fergus carried the boys in his arms and shoulders. As Fergus went to put the boys to bed, Merida and Elinor headed to Merida's bedroom.
"Right, in you go" Elinor said merrily after she pulled away the sheets away on Merida's bed.
"Oh mum, I'm not five anyone" Merida pointed out but has to smile when she heard her mum chuckle softly.
Months ago, both mother and daughter weren't as close as they were now. Both wanted different things, Merida wanted her freedom and enjoy her hobbies like riding and archery while Elinor wanted her daughter to be an ideal princess and future Queen. Things became worse when Elinor told Merida that at the Highland games, suitors will try and win her hand in marriage. On the day, Merida found a way out of this arrangement by picking archery and winning her own hand. Her mum was furious and the two had a huge fright. The princess found a witch and got a spell, hoping it would change her mums mind but the spell ended up transforming her into a bear. After escaping the castle, Elinor and Merida grew closer as they search for a cure. Meanwhile King Fergus and the other clansmen did try to kill Elinor (the bear) and the demon bear Mor'du. Mother and daughter broken the spell and their bond was mended.
"Mum, have you ever met a Viking?" Merida asked as she watched her mum pulled the curtains closed.
"Thankfully no, I was far away from that fright. Pregnant with you, actually" Elinor replied "and I hope I never have to deal with them, ever"
"Well, I happen to think it would be exciting meeting a Viking" Merida admitted, putting her weapons away.
"Merida!" her mum said in surprised and turned to her daughter. "They evil, heartless barbecues who care for no one but themselves"
"Mum, you know I face evil monsters before, I think I can handle one of those" the princess protested, folding her arms.
"I know you can, you probably scare them off with your skills and fiery Highland spirit" Elinor commented which brought a smile to both of their faces.
"Well now. Tomorrow, the MacGuffin clan are visiting so please don't get mud on your dress again" Elinor joked as she Merida climbed into her bed. Elinor notices a sad look on Merida's face.
"Merida, what's wrong? Is this about the recent news?"
The redhead sighed and tried to find the right words.
"I'm happy for Young MacGuffin that he met someone, Penelope sounds like a nice girl" she explained sitting up against her headboard.
Elinor knew what she was talking about. The queen broke the tradition for marriage so that Merida and others could marry for love. Since then, Merida's former suitors had moved on from trying to win Merida's heart. First, Young Macintosh and Wee Dingwall told her that they didn't have romantic feelings for her and now, Young MacGuffin had a girlfriend. Merida was fine just being friends but she felt a bit disappointed and she didn't know why.
"You think you won't found love" Elinor softly uttered. Merida didn't want to talk about it but since the bear incident, they became closer than before. The two were able to sit down and talk easily about personal and everyday things. They also enjoyed going out riding together some days.
"Maybe" Merida murmured then added "but it's not like I'm looking for thing. I'm perfectly happy without it"
Elinor took a moment to think what to say; of course her teenage daughter wasn't the romantic daydreaming kind of girl. She was happy being wild and free rather than being someone's wife but lately Elinor could sends that Merida had become curious about it even know she won't wouldn't admitted it.
"Merida, love isn't just for marriage. There's love for your family, your home, even friendship like you and Angus is love" Elinor explained. Merida couldn't help but chuckle when her mum mentioned her horse. "You have all the love in the world already"
"You're right mum, I have love. I don't need to look for it" Merida said smile up in her mum which she returned.
"Trust me, yes who know? Love may found you, when you least expect it. Now time for sleep" now with that, the princess lay back as her mum pulled the cover over her, kiss her head and blew out the candle. "Good night Merida" she whispered.
"Good night mum" Merida said replied before her mum gently closed the door behind her. Merida thought over her words for a moment before her fell fast asleep.

ADIRONDACKS
“Fuck, this doesn’t fit a human body!” I yelped as my body molded to the harsh contour of the chair
“Oh, shush,” my mother jabbered taking a long, slow sip from her mint julep, “I, think they’re lovely.”
She was talking about the Adirondack chairs that dotted the premises of this small, yet admired lakeside resort. They came in many different colors; sunshine yellow and a rich sky blue, pine green and a popular cherry-pop red. They were iconic here; all of the branding and logos for the resort somehow used the chair, it being a symbol of New England rusticity and charm. Set up in the dozens, they looked upon the various view. Atop a grassy hill , you could see the distant, soaring mountains of New York state, or the beach where the cool waters of the lake skittered in the breeze.
“And besides,” she continued, “Why do you have to ruin everything. Aren’t some things just . . . Nice?”
“Well these things are diagnosing me with early arthritis.”
She turned her head towards me. I could see the burning in her eyes even behind her sunglasses and cool, polite exterior. I could see the fuel and the steam and the sweat she was producing, the clenching of her tight, New England façade as she said, “We. Are. Here. To relax. Joseph.”
I could tell how mad she was because she used my full name - Joseph. Usually only referring to me as Joe, she would reserve my full name for times when I was being particularly unpleasant, like on this trip. Joseph. I always thought it was funny that she named me something so Old Testament. As anyone could attest, though not in religiosity but in spirit, she was clearly of the newer variety. From my perspective, this name, would reveal her for what she truly was, and that was something that she dedicated much of her life to hiding. She, my mother, was a Jew. And from the Christmas sweaters to our white plank wood house, it was clear to me that she tried all she could to hide this. I never knew why she was so ashamed. But all I knew is that she was, and her efforts were clear and direct.
“It is just beautiful. Isn't it?”
“Yes. It is.” The wind ran though us, an apparition, and then, the still and silent glory of the lake.
“Where’s your father?”
“Golfing, I think.”
“He sure loves golfing.”
“Yup,” I closed my eyes for a moment. The disjointed back of the Adirondack chair was beginning to saw away at my spine.
“I’m gonna go,” I stood up with a gasp and walked away.
“Make sure to meet us at the lodge for dinner!” She yelled doing her best Mrs. Brady impression.
I went to dinner around twilight. I wore a cowboy shirt that I got at a thrift shop in Brooklyn. Roses and ropes and other Americana emblems were sown into its shoulders, and wearing it, I had the satisfying feeling of parodying this whole patriotic establishment. My family thought it was strange.
We sat in a big circle, my father’s orange skin contrasting the harsh white of his seersucker suit. My mother sat elegantly on his side, and my sister, blonde, straight hair glowing in the dining room luminescence, sat at her side My aunt and uncle, and their triplet sons all sat together, all looking similarly nautical.
“Joe? What did you do today?” My uncle questioned.
“I, uh, I kind of lied by the beach for a little bit.”
“Relaxing?”
“Very relaxing.” I mumbled.
“So, Joe!” My uncle, fat and pink and plump as a potato chimed in, “You starting college this year?”
I could feel my mother’s body clench at that word – college. We’ve said it so much this past year, and now she had to face the reality.
“Well, no, not exactly. I’m actually gonna take a gap year.”
“A what?”
“A gap year. It's a year to work and figure some stuff out, and then, I might go to college.”
“He will go,” My mother interjected.
“You guys ready?” said a sharp, sweet voice from above. It was our waitress. She was beautiful. Her eyes deep and dark like a bubbling lagoon, her skin soft and supple, her hair in a thick braid down her spine.
“I think we are!” My father said rubbing his belly, “I’ll get the filet, medium rare.”
When it was my turn, I stuttered and looked down. I was scared to look her directly in the eyes. She was stunning, but I was embarrassed. I could only imagine her assumptions about me as she saw me sitting with this toddler sailing team.
Our food came soon after. And as soon my father saw the grey, overdone beef, I could already see him preparing how he would perfectly express his discontent.
“Hello?” he waved down our waitress, “Hi, yeah this is completely overdone . . . I said medium rare, right?” He was condescending and pompous. I felt an anger that she had probably numbed long ago.
“Oh yes, sorry sir. I’ll go check in with the kitchen.”
He waited a moment and then said, “You know some of these people that come from these island countries, I don't think they can always understand our English. It’s very different you know.” He said this as she was walking away, but I know she heard. His smugness disgusted me, how he could dehumanize her like that. She was so beautiful, fragile yet strong, and I knew that this was not the first remark she had heard like that. Come to think of it, she was the first person I saw that was not some pink or orange form of Caucasian in the whole resort. I wanted to throw my Shirley temple right in his face, redden his crisp new seersucker. When his steak came back, perfectly pink and red, I made a silent prayer that she had spit in his food.
My father golfed all day. So with daddy golfing with his brother, the rest of our family was largely left to fend for ourselves. Over the week we all found our routines; my sister would go to the kids camp to paint pots and paddle boat, my cousins would simulate killing games and my mother would close her eyes and bake under the lakeshore sun. I, on the other hand could find nothing to ease my overbearing boredom. I couldn't read, definitely could not write, and my few attempts at socializing with the other kids my age ended in these terrible awkward head nods, like I just walked in on something. So I kept my mother company most of the time, us jabbing at each other with our infinite insults and resentments. I loved fetching favors for her, just so one day she would owe me.
“Joseph, go get me a Julep please,” hummed my mother.
I sauntered over to the lakeside bar, where, to my horror, our waitress from the previous night was serving cocktails. I didn’t want to face her, yet I also wanted to more than anything in the world. I wanted to apologize and somehow elevate myself above my family that was less racially enlightened than I.
“Hey,” I beamed, “Can I get one julep, and one uh . . . White Russian?” I wanted alcohol and that was the only cocktail I knew.
“You have I.D?”
“Oh, shit, I uh . . . left it in my room.”
“Sure,” she smiled at me, scooping ice into a plastic cup. “White Russian. Hah! Don't get that order much these days!”
“I need something strong.”
“Oh why? Too hard to lie on the beach all day?”
“Yeah. Very relaxing. The Third Reich screaming into my ear all morning.” My cousins were playing a disturbing game of Germans vrs. Americans around the beach, their howls scraping our ear drums with their Germanic geibberish.
“I’ll give you that. That’s pretty annoying.” We smiled at eachother as she served up my special drink. I sat down at the bar. She looked me up and down and then laughed; “You clean up well.” She was remarking on my swim suit, the same one I’ve had since middle school. It was neon yellow like a traffic sign. On top of that it was pretty much a speedo at this point, my junk almost completely visible through its thin neoprene.
“Thanks, I appreciate it. You like my cowboy shirt last night?”
“Loved it! First piece of clothing without little whales all over it I’ve seen this summer.”
“What, you don't like our cool American style?”
“Cool?”
“Okay, maybe not so much.” I paused. “Where are you from?”
“Jamaica!”
“Oh Jamaica! I’ve been to Jamaica, it’s beautiful. Stayed in Montego.”
“Yeah it is. But not in the way you’re thinking.” She was cool and angry and beautiful. Her teeth shot at me with blazingly white light. I could tell she was somehow always rebelling against something.
“What do you mean?”
“It’s home and I love it, but it’s not the white sand hotels you know. We’re not just drinking dacharies all day.” Of course. I felt so stupid.! I must’ve sounded like the kind of American, imperialist, tourist asshole that I hate. “But no worries. I don't think you’re gonna be hanging out in the middle of Kingston either.”
“Who knows? I do love jerk chicken.”
“Bet you’ve never had real jerk chicken!”
“No, no, no, that, right there is where you’re wrong. Once a moth, my friend and I, we take the train all the way into the Bronx and we get the best jerk in the world. Better than Kingston I’m telling you. Rice, beans, oxtail.” She handed me my drink.
“Oxtail?”
“I don't play around . . .” I tried to look at her nametag.
“Joy,” she said.
“Joy.” We looked at eachother for a moment, the sun dancing behind her and her hands gracing the borders of mine. Her smile was sweet, her gums revealing themselves and her tongue in a perpetual dance behind them. I sipped my white Russian, all confident and smooth and immediately choked up a little.
“White boy can’t drink the white Russian, no?”
I laughed for a moment and then, the piercing bird call of my mother. “Jooooooooooe!”
“Oh shit, the julip.”
“Right.”
She threw it together in a second. Her movements were like magic. She handed the bubbling concoction to me as if she was dancing.
“I’ll see you later Joy.”
“Later . . . Jooooooooooe”
After our usual dinner, I ran away from my family and hid in my room. I couldn’t take it anymore -The pompousness and privilege of it all! The mashed potatoes and the steamed veggies. My father shooting the shit with his brother and my cousins and sisters prancing like cherubs as they clawed at their mothers knees like ravenous wolves. Their lives were incomplete and useless. They were so normal and comformative it disgusted me. I though of what my friends would say about this - Us, in our plaids and flannels and stained T-shirts - Us, listening to Joy Division like Russian scholars - Us, the artists and producers and actors and writers. Us, the haters of the mundane, the golfers and businessmen. They would hate me for being here. I hated myself.
As I tried to read in the lamp light of my room, I began to hear a rumbling and unusual stirring from my parent’s room. It was the zipping of a bag, and the befuddled and pathetic pleading of my mother.
He left in a hurry. And as their arguing continued I could hear my mother try harder and harder to hang onto to him– a plank of wood in a rushing river. And I could hear, simply in her tone, the crumbling of everything she thought important.
When my father came into my room, I turned off the lamp and pretended to be asleep. I could hear him sniffle as he wallowed in the image of my sleeping body.
“I have to.”
Later that night, I sneaked out of our hotel room to follow the dark and silent path to the lake. There, I sat, and watched over the bubbling black water as a great haze was cast upon the world by the pale-lit moon. I tried to write. Thinking that my bombardment with the kind of absurdist Americana that was the foundation for all great art would lead to my own prophetic discovery. In vain, trying to describe the orange of their spray tans, the crisp whiteness of their freshly laundered polos, ticky-tacky lawns and Marciano cherries. But, nothing came. It all sounded so trite and clichéd and my vision of having some miraculous epiphany in the night, deteriorated. All I was left was myself, the moon and the lake that waved in the wind like the American dream itself.
A single orange light illuminated through the dark nighttime. I turned towards it and noticed it as it grew bigger, connected to a hushing, slow moving figure. I smelt smoke. The smell of the case under my bed and the furious scrubbing with soap to extract the tar odor. The smell of my habits and my angers. But then, the smell of a woman. It was the smell of Joy, and I could see her white teeth as she neared toward me.
“Late night for the poet?” she said pointing to my worn out notebook.
“Not much of a poet tonight.”
“It’s late. Don’t you have to go home to mommy?”
“No, Mommy’s dreaming. No need.”
She sat next to me in the adjacent Adirondack chair. Sifting her hands through her pocket, then pointing one to me as she offered: “Want one?”
I had quit for a few months, but I was weak in the knees. “Yes.”
“What are you doing out here so late?”
“Just got off dinner service.”
“And?”
“And it was terrible. Nothing new. It’s a job.”
“Any racist comments this time?” I took a slow drag and then closed my eyes.
“Just two . . . Not bad.”
“How can you deal with it? I mean, you’re not only in America, already a racist shithole, but you’re in the last remaining ‘whites only’ country club?”
“Ehhh. I went to a catholic school back home. The girls I grew up with hated me for it. Thought I was too good for everyone. And I always liked reading more than dancing . . . I guess I’m used to being strange.”
“An outsider.”
“You too probably. Always an outcast.”
“Hah!” I laughed pompously and then took another swaggering hit. “You saw my mother!”
“A mother is a mother no matter what. Even if she’s just a woman.”
“”Easy to say.”
“No . . . Everybody hurts. Even the rich bitches I serve dacharies to, and sit on these fucking chairs. They hurt. Everybody hurts.”
“I guess.”
“Joe -”
“Jospeh.”
“Joseph”
“Yes?”
“Don’t let yourself suffer too much. Okay? I know suffering. And I’m not trying to sound all cliché third world romantic with you, but you can martyr yourself or learn to live. Don't crucify yourself. I have the scars to prove that it’s never worth it.”
“How do you know so much?”
“I’m a woman . . . ” She took another, solemn drag, “A woman knows everything.”
I turned towards her and kissed her. I could taste the tobacco dancing in our mouths, and I thought she was so beautiful yet so wise, and I never thought that that could exist. But it did. And it was her.
And we layed out on the grass, and our clothes got all soggy and wet in the our tumble towards earth. The night mist, and the sea breeze. The moon watching us, mourning. And as we fell and fell, over and over again, I saw the pale silhouette of the Adirondack chair. And though the light was dim, I could see the cracks. How the paint chipped in the wind. And how its form crumbled from time. And how even the nails dug into its foundation were rusted in dejection. And that’s when I knew how they must weep under the weight of those women and men, with the whole world on their shoulders. The summer like a pressure cooker, and the distant scream of time and life almost audible through the fence around our lives. And we fell and we fell, until we screamed. Until we died newly awoken.
The light in mother’s room was on, and the warm heat of her worry greeted me with a slow and dancing embrace. My father had left already, pursuing his victories in an airport terminal, and through the dim light of our room, I could see her cracks and the sky blues, sunshine yellows and cherry-pop reds of her medicine drawer strewn about the floor like marbles. And I could see her tears. And I could see that she was beautiful once, and maybe even is now.
“Where were you?” she begged.
And all I could mutter was, “The Adirondacks,””
And all I could think about was how we were in a world filled with fragile people that say and do fragile things. And Joy. A single totem in the waving sea.
A poem!

Three Sunnies au part 2
(This is an AU where there is three Sunny Baudelaires who are triplets. You can find part one by searching ”three Sunnies AU” on Tumblr).
- The Reptile Room -
Sunny, Suzy and Sally are in the backseat of mr Poes car trying to not fall around because Poe is so terrible with children that he didn’t have any child seats in his car
(And I imagine asoue taking place before it was mandatory to have seatbelts in the backseat, so yeah this is not good news)
Poe: ”So this is lousy lane, which is famous for *cOUGh* Oh my godness, what is that smell? Is it one of you children?”
Suzy: ”Don’t blame all the smells on us, you mouth breather.”
The arrive at uncle Monty’s house, and Monty welcomes then with open arms
Poe is a little skeptical if Monty is a suitable guardian, because he has snake bushes which terrifies Poe very much (though the babies think it’s cool)
Monty understands the triplets perfectly
Monty: ”Would you girls care for a slice of cake?”
Sunny: ”No, we prefer hard food.”
Monty: ”That is unusual for a baby.”
Sally: ”Abort! He has cracked our secret language!”
None of them are a bit scared of the Reptile Room
And they spend their days playing with the various reptiles
Sunny’s favorite reptile is the incredibly deadly viper, which she often plays tag or hide and seek with
Suzy is very fond of a lizard who she names Kurt, and often lets Kurt crawl on her or she just crawls besides Kurt on the floor
Sally loves a large turtle who she likes to feed mashed fruits to. She also pets it a lot and sometimes rides on it’s back (one time Sally fell asleep on the turtle)
Then Stephano arrives and the girls just points at him and say ”Olaf”
Stephano: ”Oh no I am Stephano.”
Sally: ”Olaf.”
Stephano: ”Montgomery Montgomery, these children of yours seen to call me by the wrong name!”
Monty: ”Well, you do resemble a man named Olaf. That might just be a coincidence though.”
The girls try their best to tell Monty but it seems like he suddenly doesn’t understand them anymore
And as soon as Stephano is alone with them, he threatens them with a knife and tells them to behave or else he will do something they will regret
But they just taunt him back
Stephano: ”Your Uncle Monty will not believe three little rats who says his new assistent is Count Olaf.”
Suzy: ”We are capable of biting your skull off if we want, so be nice.”
Stephano: ”Just because I can’t understand you doesn’t mean I don’t know what you’re up to. I’m an adult and I am much smarter than three toddlers.”
Sunny: ”Well in that case you have a really weird way of showing your smartness.”
There is no going to the movies in this AU
Instead, monty is putting the girls to bed and whispers to them that he believes Stephano is a spy from the herpetological society and he will ”play a prank” this night to scare Stephano with the incredibly deadly viper
But when the girls wake up the next day, Monty is nowhere to be found so they escape their cribs to look for him
Only to find him dead in the reptile room
But before they fully understand what they just saw, Olaf sneaks behind them and stuffs them in a bag
”You can’t escape now.”
He stuffs them into the car and tells them he is going to call ”that coughing banker” to tell him that Montgomery will be unable to call because he is going to Peru
But before he calls, Poe arrives with his car
He tells Stephano that he was going to do a checkup on how things were going in the Baudelaires new home
Sally: ”You didn’t do that with Olaf, but okay.”
The triplets try to tell Poe that it’s Olaf, but Poe neither understands or listens.
Poe is so distressed with Monty being dead that he runs into the house with Stephano after him, leaving the children behind.
So they try to discuss how to show everyone it’s Olaf who murdered Monty
Sunny: ”He has an eye on his foot.”
Suzy: ”How can you have an eye on a foot?”
Sally: ”He drew the eye with crayons, probably.”
But in the bushes, they discover the incredibly deadly viper
And they make the viper follow them inside, because they have a plan
In the hallaway, they scream like they have been bitten, which makes Poe and Stephano run out to them
Poe: ”Gasp! They have been bitten! Someone call an ambulance!”
But after realising the incredibly deadly viper is harmless, Poe is confused because he thought the viper was the one killing Monty
But the viper crawls into the Reptile Room and retrieves a bottle of the poison that actually killed Monty
And just as they see that, the Baudelaires spit on Olaf’s ankle to reveal his eye
Poe: ”Oh my god! You are Count Olaf!”
The Baudelaires: ”We told you so, frogface.”
Olaf runs away and Poe is just confused of everything
But he sighs and takes the girls to the car, to drive them to their next guardian...
#this was difficult to write in some aspects but it did turn into something atleast#tww is going to be harder since the sunnies can’t read so Josephine has to draw or something#but this is fun#three sunnies au#asoue#asoue au#sunny baudelaire#the reptile room

Merida and Hiccup’s wedding day-part 5
Charpter 5
"I've won" Merida cried as she and Angus reached the castle first. Hiccup and Toothless followed right behind them, he looked at his new wife grinning from ear to ear "ok but we would of won if we had made the turn past those barrel and some sheep"
"Excuses, excuses" the redhead remarked playfully. "I nearly hit a large tree branch and you don't hear me complaining ". Hiccup just simply smiled at this as he got off Toothless and walk up to her.
"May I milady" The prince offered with his arms out to his princess. Merida reached out and put her arms around him and he help her to the ground. They then rubbed their noses together. "Do you want to check out the hall before anyone else show up"
"Aya, I never got a chance to see it" she admitted. They linked arms snugly and entered the great hall. They were both awestruck by the decoration; the walls had garlands filled with white and purple flowers covering them all around the walls. There were candles dotted around on stands and on the tables, on each table, there were long tartan runners.
"I can't think of the last time I've ever seen it so beautiful" The bride said in ore" remind me to say thank you to my mum and the servets for the amazing job"
After the couple had a good look around the hall Hiccup suggested checking out the wedding presents they had receive from their guests. The gifts were all placed in a separate room, the two opened the doors and all they could say was "wow"
The room was full with boxes filled with gold and jewels, large goblets and drinking horns. As well as homemade shortbread, whisky cake and buckets of apples. Swords, axes and other weapons as well and ornate shield that has been laid out in a fancy display. An elegantly decorated box with brushes, combs and hair accessories (which Merida probably wouldn't use) There were quills and tools that were for Hiccup. Handmade scarfs, cloths, gloves and blankets made out of wool or fabric. Colourful paintings and tapestries and even a deer head made out of patchwork.
"Tell me again how many people have come" the groom asked his wife. He know they met and helped a lot of people but he never thought so many people liked and appreciated them.
"I expect more than a hundred guest" Merida replied as she had a slice of shortbread and then offered one to Hiccup which he happily took. They read some of labels on the gifts, they both knew that some where from their friends who couldn't come, like Eret, son of Eret who they came across on a trip to Berk. He and other Vikings couldn't come just incase trouble would occured but they gave the couple their best wishes. Another friend of theirs was Heather, even though at the time she was made by the Outcast to spy on the dragon rides and find out their secrets Heather become their friend, she had even join the dragon riders for a while. Heather said she would love to come but she was off travelling and wouldn't be able to made it, although she had found time to send them a wedding gift, which was a pairs of scissors made of scales off her dragon named "Windshear"
Then they noticed three gift on a table, each one had a tartan ribbon around it. They both recognise the colours of Macintosh, MacGuffin and Dingwell. MacGuffin's gift was a shining cauldron, the gift that Macintosh gave was a lyre which was beautifully carved and as for Dingwell's present well it was a simple rock, a big rock but still a rock.
"I still don't understand the rock" the groom admitted to his wife.
"No one really knows why a rock is the Dingwell's symbol, I don't even think they know" Merida replied.
They took their time looking at their gifts. It wasn't until Merida spotted a small wooden box that was amongst the others. She picked it up and found a note.
"Hiccup, look at this"
He came over and read it over his wife's shoulder.
"Dear Princess and Prince,
congratulations on your marriage. I would've loved to be there but the annual witches festival happens to be on the same week as your wedding. Sorry but I did send you this gift, it took nearly a week to make.
I hope you two appreciate it.
From the Witch. P.s I thought about sending some blessing potions but I couldn't find any sea-goats livers.
"Sea-goats livers?" Hiccup finally said after they read the note.
"Well maybe we luckily, it could have been worse. I don't want to have something with sea-goat livers in it" Merida said with a shrug.
"Let's see what she sent us"
"Hopefully it's not a cake"
The Redhead let out a small laugh. When she first met the witch she asked for a spell (the same spell that turned her mum into a bear) which came in the form of a cake. So now she and everyone joke about it if someone offered cake to someone else.
Merida opening the box but to their surprise there was no cake but two wooden figures. One of a bear and one of a dragon. The bass that the figures stood on started to move clockwise and play a soft tune.
"Wow, I never seen anything like it" Hiccup said looking at the details on the figures.
"I think I know this song" Merida said softly before humming along with it. Hiccup couldn't help but smile, Merida wasn't a singer and would never perform public but Hiccup found that she had rather a nice voice. Merida didn't feel uncomfortable singing when she was around him, and Hiccup had a good singing voice himself.
"I think I know it too, it's my partners song" there was a moment when only the music box was playing. The groom glances at his bride, she look as if she wanted to say something."what's wrong"
After Merida let out a sigh she said " I couldn't help but think about your dad. I remember your mum and dad dancing to this song, I also remember how happy you were...and them" Merida stopped, she didn't want upset him.
The first few week after Stoick death was really difficult for Hiccup, he didn't leave his room and Merida had heard sobbing. She felt helpless, she was told to give him time and space to heal but soon Merida became sick. When Hiccup heard this, he rushed to her side. He apologise for not being around but Merida said it was ok, lost of a loved one is a terrible thing to go thought. She told him to remember only the good memories and try to live life again, that what his dad would want him to do. The Princess got better physically and Hiccup got better emotionally and he even started flying again.
"I know, I still thinking about him everyday. He's watching over us so I know he's alway with me" Hiccup said,
This came as a surprised to Mer but she gave a warm smile "I like to think that too" Merida added. Hiccup returned her a smile as he then held the music box together.
As the music stopped they kissed a long lingering kiss. It felt like a long time until they pulled away looking at each other. They both jumped a little as they heard someone clearing their throat behind them, they turned to see Elinor standing by the door.
"Mum, how long have you be there?" Merida asked nervously.
"I've just arrived" the queen replied "the guests are headed to the game field for lunch, I thought I'd check on you two" she continued as she walk up to the couple.
"The great hall looks wonderful mum, you and the staff did a amazing job, thank you" Merida thanked her mum and hugged her close.
"I'm so happy to know you love it" The mother and daughter shared in this moment before Elinor turned to Hiccup. "And I brought something for Hiccup" the queen then pulled a large box from a cupboard.
"Is this our wedding gift?" Hiccup asked politely to his new mother-in-law.
"No it is made especially for you" Elinor replied and revealed to them a crown. It was similar to Merida's but had square points and red and green gems around it.
"Is that for me?" The Viking questioned even thought he knew the answer.
"Of course. now as prince of DunBroch, you'll be responsible for the care of DunBroch and help Merida with royal duties now and when she is queen" Elinor explained.
"And would that make me King. To be honest I'm.."
"I know your worried about being King but I and anyone else believe's you can and I'm proud to know Merida has someone who is gentle and smart that will help her take care of our home"
As she spoke, Merida took Hiccup's helmet off and gave a confused Hiccup an innocent grin. Mer knew what going to happen next.
"I couldn't have picked anyone better" the queen finished. Hiccup bowed his head, Elinor place the crown on his head, the Viking prince stared up, Merida and Elinor both thought the crown suited him.
"It feels a bit heavy" Hiccup commented as he touch his crown.
"It's supposed to symbolise the weight of the kingdom, to serve the people and protect them or something like that" his wife explained.
Hearing this, Elinor chuckled to herself. "Well before you two have lunch. I want to show you my gift".
"OK which one?" Merida asked looking at their gifts, wondering which one could be her mother's.
"Oh it's not here" Elinor said.
The young couple looked at each other, then back to Elinor "where is it then?" Hiccup asked
"I'll show you" the Queen answered. Merida and Hiccup followed the Queen through some hallways, still thinking what this present was. Just before Merida was about to ask her mum..."here it is" Elinor suddenly said holding her arm up, pointing around the corner.
With their fingers intertwined, Hiccup and Merida went around the corner and ended up stopping in their tracks for what they saw. On the wall was a large dark green tapestry, on the left was a image of DunBroch castle. There was Elinor and Furgus on the top of the castle and the the triplets on the ground, there was the forest near the castle and a trail of Willow of the wisps that seemed to lead into the forest. On the right showed Berk. It showed Stoick the Vast standing on a cliff edge; it also had two Vikings riding dragons and a long boat on the sea. In the middle of a tapestry was a circle, on the top was a black dragon that was definitely supposed to be Toothless and on the bottom was a black bear that looked like Elinor when she was a bear. And in the circle was both Merida and Hiccup, holding hands and looked at each other.
The Queen could see her daughter and son-in-law's faces, they like it she was even more sure when Merida wrapped her arms around her.
"Thank you" she heard Merida say, Elinor returned to hug.
"How long did it take to make this" Hiccup asked after Merida and Elinor finish their hug.
"Well I started it a few months before your proposal. So it took a good while and a bit of unpicking along the way to make it perfect but finally got there" the queen explained.
"Hey look at detail on the dragons. You got it dead on" Hiccup pointed to the Berk side. The Queen watched the wedded couple chatting about her tapestry before backing away, she wanted to give them sometime alone. she leaves them with their arms around each other. Elinor turned and disappeared around the corner and smiled softly when she heard...
"I love you Mer"
"I love you too Hic"
