Dear pathetic knight Link,

For your acceptable performance on our date mission the other day, I felt you were finally worthy of this trinket.

In this box you shall find a piece of jelwery I've had crafted to your measurements.

After our very first encounter, I returned to the battle ground late in the evening to gather my discarded arrows when I stumbled upon the arrow I had purposely missed which would have been your end if the Princess hadn't interveined. I'm unsure what prompted me to pick it up and keep it - the head had come loose from the shaft and had become filled with dirt.

That arrow head has admittedly been with me now for over a hundred years and is a little on the rusting side. It reminds me of what could have been, and what I am greatful never came to be.

Recently it seems something has bloomed from the scrap of soil in the arrowhead. I felt it an amusing metaphor for the beautiful things that can become of something that once was sharp. That is why I have decided to gift this to you.

Consider it a token of new beginings. And perhaps a proposal of...upgrading our status from comrades to something else, if you'd accept of course?

I have actually been working on something to gift to you for a while now. I am aware how significant caring for your plumes can be and- well. I made you some beads.

I know that your old beads have been around for a long time and I’m not sure if they get worn out or anything, but. I thought. If perhaps you would like to try another style that is still similar. I painted them green like your old ones but I’ve added some color to these. If you, would like them? They’re yours.
