anyway 2:30 am is a really weird time to say this at but i think i need to like... not exactly take a break but heavily reduce my tumblr usage for a bit. i may continue to post gifsets or personal posts, and i'll still check my inbox. but i'm feeling myself get to a point where being on tumblr too much and worrying too much about fandom discourse is actively giving me anxiety which means it is time to be way, way less online for a few days.

hello everyone! hope you all have been doing well since this past month! Like i said on my previous post i wasn't feeling too well at the time so i had to get out of tumblr to make my mental health better. Due time i felt better, the pressure, the messages i have been receiving of anons hating on my edits, the though of my edits not being enough and i had to do better, was lost... i felt more relieved. idk if i will return to do edits since i'm still recovering, last week i had another breakdown of my mental health to the point of crying all days, feeling fear and anxious... i had to return to my medical treatment i was taking before that my psychiatrist asked me to take and now i will be starting to go to there again. I just wanted to let you guys know about my disappearance. I have been a bit more active on twitter and on my genshin sideblog since i have been drawing a lot! It's been relaxing to me! I have been doing work slowly for my boss and when i have a bit more time i draw for myself and post on there, if you wanna check out feel free ^^ I'm quite enjoying them! Thank you for all your messages that i received and your concern/support! I'm so sorry for not being around and i missed so many of your amazing edits!! 1. why did you choose your url?

my url is from ‘sol lucet omnibus’, a latin phrase that means the sun shines for everyone. a lot of my urls & usernames and whatnot are sun themed, so this is just another in a long line. for a while it was ‘solclaw’ while i was in a werewolf phase. but i dont plan to change it again

ahhh…. the secret come out. i guess? i have two sideblogs. @jinjjayo is my kpop sideblog, which i have not advertised having so far but does exist. i also have @solref, which is just where i collect tutorials & other reference stuff.

not consecutively, i took breaks, but my first blog was made in 2011. :0 i’ve had three main blogs over the years.

1. why did you choose your url?

multiple reasons:

I chose chemicalbrew as my go-to handle everywhere important, because the handle I picked for this purpose as a teen is cringe

I like having canon URLs; especially if they are kind of hard-to-get and\or subtle references, which this one is perfect for, IMO. The last time I felt good about a handle in this sense was when I went by theplanetbuster

I like katzero :) a normal amount :) and I always will I think :)

Chemical Brew is just a good track and I love being reminded of its existence every time I log on anywhere.

I'm too lazy to upkeep them, so I compensate with my tagging system... Well, there is actually one where I wanted to put my writing if I ever did any, but in the end all writing I do is roleplay stuff on discord that's not meant to be shared widely HELP. And what I do end up getting out once in a blue moon, I just put on AO3...

I used to hoard a whole lot of URLs, but I got scared of getting terminated for a second time, so aside from the almost empty writing blog I mentioned earlier, I just hoard five that I'd hate to see anyone else have (some of these I used to go by, too)

Found this place while looking for Zelda fanart; thought it would be easier to use the dashboard instead of checking individual pages. At least I think that was the biggest reason. IDR

Zero I like him :) At this point it feels wrong if I don't have him as my pfp on here and\or discord so... here he is!!! (since I'm still Four on discord) Not to mention that I kinda need him here to match the rest of my stuff.

I put the NB flag border for Pride month this year for fun and I'm too lazy to put the old version back (also, once again, I like weird subtle shit like that.).

I always choose my headers with purpose, though it's not quite the case here: this is a holdover from when I was cherrymegablaster, and it's meant to directly complement that URL in a way that's obvious if you played the game. LOL

I kept it because it's funny to call a drink a chemical brew (and because there's not enough DLC footage for me to make a nice gif with. There's a few stills I really like, but I prefer my headers animated!) ...and because I'm just really happy with the gif.

I can't be assed to use the site that scans for this stuff and I'm not proud of my ancient random shit that blew up a bit anyway. So... I'll just tell you this gifset I made on a whim is the one with the most notes.

Ehhh, it depends... I know I check my activity mostly every morning just in case, and I check the dod3 and katzero tags once or twice a week, but it's not a strict schedule thing, I forget sometimes :] The tags are slow anyway, and I have sooo many active katzero posters blocked that it's even slower for me :p

@camp-cretaceous-posts I think was my first ever sideblog? fandom it’s for was really really quiet for some time, and I really missed seeing it on my dash so I spent hours trawling the archives of my main blog and others peoples blogs to find posts related to the show and queue them. Not much going on there besides the queue, but it’s nice to take a look through and see posts from before earlier seasons released, or from live-blogs of the show, even posts from the reveal trailer of it. I’ve still got about 400 drafts on that blog in case the queue gets a little low, and I usually shuffle the queue after adding posts from drafts or just every few weeks as I’ve added new posts from the main tag.

this ended up into me talking about my sideblogs too but yeah I have Many posts. I also like to every few months go back through my main blogs archive to just queue old posts that I haven’t seen in a while or are still cool. It’s honestly really fun to do for me

At the start this year, I made this post about the current status of the fic series about the births of the Lancasterlings. In summary: not abandoned, have some stuff written but have been busy writing other things, have some ideas which is putting it up high up on the write-this-next list. The good news is that since that post, I've written a bit of a scene and it's still high up on the list of things I want to write, though I've not finished any of the things I said I wanted to finish before I started writing it.

The bad news is, well. One of the main plots of the fic was the idea that this is the time when Hal moved out of his mother's nursery and into his grandmother's care. Most of what I have written is dealing with that plot.

Except, well, in the process of writing this post about Hal's relationship with Thomas over on my history sideblog, I discovered that the source I had for this is actually... a not-great historian who was misrepresenting or misinterpreting what an actual historian said. Or at least I think that's what she did, given I had to guess what her actual source was (the whole story is in my sideblog's queue). But all of that means is that I'm kicking it out of my story (yes, I could keep it but also: not including it means more Mary and small Hal which is more important to me ). The good news is that I have an idea of what's going to be the new main plot, the bad news is that I'm going to be putting most of what I've got written into the "for the next fic, maybe" bucket. So. Yeah.

now i'm just racing to finish kingoh brainrot before May 4 so I can concentrate on Visions vol 2. After Sixth debut I probably had to put things on hold for real to do school work. I hope.

it's plot-heavy and serial unlike your typical sentai but almost typically anime/shonen with a heavy fantasy setting and character designs. but do you need more reason than 'rita kanisuka' to watch it. and the tokusatsu action/direction is so good.

i started a toku sideblog @mofffun anyway so i will be free-r over there. kinda wanna post opinions here and gifs over there lol. maybe polished gifsets here and random gifs over there. my queue is low in the tens but i certainly have many SW stock. i won't remove that completely just, not actively going for it? i'd still do regular tag searches on top of what came on my dashboard, but i might not write/talk about SW for a while? i still have a couple books to read

it feels weird because i became an SW centric blog since I came back 3 years ago. Not to say I didn't have other stuff chimed in but it's been 95% SW running non stop for 3 years. It's weird to have a sudden shift that stays. It's even weirder when you think when i first started this blog in 2012, it's as multifandom as you can get with 5 regular ones. so fuck it. i care about followers and feel a duty to provide? like an editor to a magazine? but probably just overthinking it. i won't force anyone to continue following if they are not into what i'm putting out. it feels weird but i'm just gonna talk about kingohger as much as i want to now. maybe change the blog description in a bit so that i don't feel disconnected. it's MY blog.

Talking about fixating on kingoh. I love the thrill of collecting clues and unraveling its plot. I love thinking again. I love that it gave me a reachable goal to work towards. Though half the time i'm just shouting RITA KAWAII/KAKKOUI i don't really pay attention to what's being said. It's been saccahrine the past 48 hours and i'm exhausted and elated. they got me crawling my ass up sunday at 8 to watch nitiasa live again.

compared with star wars it's just, ₻₻₻ (<- scribble). Mando s3 was a letdown and nobody cares about tbb. i can't stand how hype ppl are for the ahserka series and it feels like a minefield getting to know others with that hanging. sometimes i had to listen to ill-informed forum bros dissing, and when i look at official stuff, i begin to question who's actually keeping the lore.

it's not all negative. i still haven't done a totj!togruta analysis (even though i don't really want to think about totj itself because all it is to me is episode 5). i'm still super excited about SWC2025. i still love ahsoka (yes holding that throne against rita). I know I will be blown away by Visions as well. But I've been letting that define and govern me for too long it's time to let somebody else have a chance.

I'm crazy scared i won't be able to finish work this time. i'd hate that. i'm working the courage to tell my fam i need some space but, every time i actually said that, it's no use anyway. because i'm special. i'm responsible. what i do will never be enough.

i also try not to think to much about the society or where i will be in five years. it's like, some of the things i ultimately want can't happen unless you give it a few years of effort but i don't dare to dream that far. eh

well good thing ko let me think all that. i like thinking. i like writing.

Tumblr unceremoniously terminated my account, so I’m remaking my main blog!

If my previous main blog is ever restored, then I’ll keep it up as an archive. Hope I get my sideblogs back though.

I just created a new blog: @holmesloveshooper!!!

I have a lot of Sherlolly posts in the Likes folder on the previous main blog, and I don’t want them to remain buried in there once the transition to this new main blog is complete. So I’m reblogging (and queuing) Sherlolly edits, incorrect quotes, meta, chat ficlets, etc. All other kinds of fics will still be on the fic recs blog (@austenshephardhooperholmes).

Of course, I’ll still reblog Sherlolly stuff on here. I just want to make sure that the amazing creations of our fellow shippers aren’t buried in the Likes folder anymore.

THANK YOU. i do post them all in like collective little 'books' on my patreon so i can't dump them all at once on a side blog on principle of the thing, but i AM thinking of maybe setting up a queue and posting like one a day for a while. that'd be ethical for me to do i think because i do have over 200 (going on 300) so it'd like...TAKE OVER HALF A YEAR FOR ME TO POST EM ALL, and by then i'll definitely have more as well so there'll still b a steady flow of exclusive content on patreon/it'll still b fair. I'M LIKE. trying to work out the logistics in my brain lmfao. but if i set this up at some point i'll b sure to link to it on main!! it's def a good idea. setting up the queue sounds like the most annoying/time consuming part. I'm glad you like the pieces so much though!!! I really like making them.
