Look I like Roger enough, I understand what he represents and I generally don’t think he was a bad dude. I do however think he was shit at interpersonal relationships because, what the fuck. Whitebeards crew is infinitely more well adjusted and I’d say he arguably had the more traumatic death.

Like what even, what kind of planning leads a 53 year old man to sire a child knowing he is dying of an incurable illness and is about to turn himself in to be excuted by the marines where he will cause so much chaos it is literally still turning the world on its head 22 years later. He knew he was going to cause so much of a stir that he literally disbanded his crew and told them to spread far and wide to keep them safe. Because he knew the marines would hunt them far and wide But yet he still brought a baby into the world. Babe. What the fuck? What even is that? What was the thought process. I sincerely hope it was an accident and not a deliberate attempt to bring about a new era.

Am I the only one who completely misunderstood the plot of ToA when I first heard about it? Like "Apollo turns into a sixteen-year old mortal" put the idea of him in secondary school in my head not deadly quests. the craziest thing about part 2 for me was seeing Eloise, Penelope and Colin literally going “hahaha that bitch Cressida is so awful and dumb, we can’t believe she’s pretending to be Lady Whistledown, what is wrong with her?” meanwhile Cressida is literally fighting for her life trying to escape some horrible ass g*m* of thr*n*s scenario that involves her getting forcefully married to an old creep

I will laugh so hard if it turns out that John is making a sincere effort at being a decent parent and it's such an awful outcome for Gideon that I feel like it's plausible. He's giving off such man who thinks of himself as a good guy confronted with oops baby vibes.

Me: TBB often represents the clones as unlikable assholes in comparison to the Bad Batch characters.

TBB fans: No they don't! Do you think HOWZER is an unlikable asshole? Hah, check and mate!

Me: Howzer's whole introduction is him being a minor antagonist who sides with the Empire against the Twi'leks right up until the very end. His latest appearance places him in opposition to Crosshair and represents him as being unreasonable in his anger while Crosshair is the victim even though Crosshair is the one who murdered people Howzer cared about and never apologizes for it or even appears remotely remorseful about the pain he caused to Howzer. So while I do not PERSONALLY find Howzer an unlikeable asshole, I don't think the show really works that hard to write him that positively and it DOES place him in opposition to the Bad Batch where they are explicitly represented as better than he is.
