The gist of it is, my ex (and the love of my life) left me unexpectedly a few years back, we met again a few weeks back but my ex-girlfriend is now a guy — he’s trans and transitioned soon after we broke up. I still don’t getit exactly, but a big reason why he left me is that he was trans (??) and didn’t think we’d be together if he came out?? Now, we’ve been back to dating the past few weeks and it wasn’t going perfect but I felt like we’re slowly making progress to get back to the point we were at when he broke up with me. We went out on our first solo date (no friends around, just the two of us) and I thought thinks were going good. Apparently not.
