I fucking love video games that are buggy as fuck

Fucking around in Vault 3, helping those guys escape- I come back with the key and two of them are outside the cage and one of the Fiends is inside it instead. I'm like "wow okay," move on, unlock the cage.

And then I just. Get to watch them all crouch and "sneak" out of the cage, pushing up against and stopping in front of Fiends the whole way.

I genuinely don't know if they're supposed to just be fine once you open the cage? So like maybe that last bit is par for the course. But coming back to two of them just wandering that room, chillin with the captors? Incredible. 10/10 I recommend this game to everyone.

i have lots of things queued for my little break from writing, which means between now and the 7th of may there's some soft cooper, some slightly rougher cooper, really soft cooper, pre-war cooper, and some maximus smut

then the final chapter of my riddler fanfic will be posted on the 9th of may

and then on the 11th of may i'll publish the post for my follower milestone event which i am very very excited for!! (normal requests will be open but i won't be publishing any of them in that time, and commissions will also be a bit slower)

and then by the end of june, when the event is over and everyone has stopped caring about fallout i can take a big sigh of relief and go back to writing and posting at a pace that doesn't give me heart palpiations lmaooooooo

closing my inbox/taking a break

due to increasing anon hate and some very gross and concerning asks, i've decided that i'm going to be closing my inbox and taking a break from tumblr for a little while. i can only put up with so much and it's getting to be too much when my askbox looks like this after a few days:

i understand that i have some very lovely anons that i adore talking to. i'm very sorry that other people had to ruin this for those anons and if turning off my askbox will keep you from interacting, but i need to do this for my peace of mind for the time being. that's not to say i'll never open it again, i just need a break and hopefully some time will let people calm down.

posts will still be the same, everything i have coming up is either queued or scheduled for the next week. the may fic recs will be posted this afternoon. i've cleared out my inbox and queued replies to what's already in there outside of request asks.

i mentioned a little "extra" post for tomorrow that was going to be a post of mid-year faves, for all the fics i've found too late for a monthly rec list and ones that i just really love that was meant to post tomorrow, but i'm going to postpone that for now and come back to it at a later day this month.

the next mob!price chapter is scheduled for next friday, june 9th, in the evening and set to be reblogged again saturday morning. i'll probably pop back on for that and to make sure the taglist works properly, and reevaluate my askbox at that time.

i am so thankful to all of the kind anons i've gotten and for everyone who's been nice to and patient with me. i have an appreciation for all of you that i can't put into words.

Caesar Route Chapter 12 (1-5)

Last time on the Caesar Route, the gang finally uses the Steven Universe poetry to find the moonstone pillar and a treasure chest hidden in a grave, but the shadows respawn.

As the shadows are closing in, and everyone’s magic power is halved, Caesar pulls out a magic item that can generate fireballs that he apparently had this whole time but didn’t use.

Since WHEN was that a rule in any of these routes? And either way, I’m not quite sure which government jurisdiction a space and time-warping magic labyrinth falls under, so who gives a shit? Lucious and Zeus don’t because they encourage Caesar to use the item, since it’s not like they really have any other option.

As Caesar drops a 7th level fireball on the shadows’ asses, Liz tries to open the box they found last time, but it’s locked. Caesar’s 7th level fireball turns out not to be enough to take care of the shadows (they’re really acing those dex saves, guys).

Liz finally remembers to check the Steven Universe poetry after WAY too long, and instead of offering a clue, the coin literally just vaporizes the lock, which summons the equivalent of a 9th level sunburst, and all the shadows fail their con saves.

So turns out that Caesar isn’t looking too good, and it’s either the shadows’ fault or the magic item’s fault, but he brushes off any concern and reiterates that the Star Sapphire is the top priority. Mischa suggests they follow the particles of light that came out of the box.

Oh yeah, this is a thing that’s been happening. And Liz contemplates that Caesar’s lies ain’t gonna be holding up for much longer.

So they follow the light particles and come across this:

Liz checks the Steven Universe poetry and finds out they’re almost at the end of the line.

Alright everybody get into the river and start chasing after Mischa. That... is what the line means, right?

Secundus Sunday: An Early Birthday Drabble

Gotta do something a bit special for Victor and Marty’s joint birthday -- so here, have Drabble #82 from the first set of “100 Drabbles of Summer” I did for the old LJ community Charloft! It was an “author’s choice” prompt, and I chose “birthday,” so I could do Victor and Marty finding out they have the same one. Just a bit of dialogue-only fun -- and yes, you WOULD expect someone like Victor to be a winter baby, wouldn’t you?

Lately, I've been in a huge slump. Everything in my life changed. A lot of it wasn't by choice and a lot of it was. Either way, it took a toll like no other - my anxiety shot through the roof & my depression went into [a] relapse. I think I'm finally getting used to the kind of routine & how I've been living for the past two/three months. Took long enough haha (sorry, bad humor).

But I'm finally beginning to feel like myself again; I'm laughing, waking up happy, feeling good and optimistic like I used to be. It's good. Granted, I have my mornings and my days, and these past few days/week(s) have been the worst, but for the past maybe two days, I've been able to pull myself out of my bad moods a lot quicker than previously and like I said, I'm a lot happier.

I truly do think I have finally adjusted & I think now that everything is calming down in my mind, I can think of things more logically and see things a lot clearer. Which is honestly absolutely amazing haha.

Yes, I'll still have my days/mornings and whatnot, but I can pull myself out of it again! I'm feeling so much better & I cannot explain the thoughts going through my mind and what I'm feeling. All I know is that I'm feeling good & I'm so glad that things are starting to calm down and I'm getting back to normal.

Thank you, to my absolutely amazing boyfriend @stormcallerspath for sticking with me, holding me, and walking with me as I have been dealing with this massive amount of depression and uncontrollable anxiety. I think this is the worst any of it has ever been and I want to thank you so much my love for telling me that everything will be ok & for reassuring me when I've gotten scared. It makes my heart happy and it makes me feel so good <3 I love you, my Moon!! & Thank you so much! I don't think I can ever show you or tell you how grateful I truly am & how loved I really feel *hugs and kisses* <3
