Could you write a story about baby collector and young Philip. As in the one with the beard. Just like, maybe something cute, or, could you maybe give us headcanons?
This is DEFINITELY headcanon worthy. 👶 🌠
Hope u enjoy anon! <3
• Philip's temper got bad when The Collector came out his mirror a baby. He couldn't tell him what he needed to complete his mission as an infant. He groans. Looks like he'll have to be the one to teach him how to talk.
• Baby Collector LOVED tugging HARD on Philip's mustache and beard, which he found greatly annoying... and painful.
• Philip used some cloth as a baby carrier to carry Baby Collector everywhere with him just in case he needed him to get him out of a jam.
• The only way Baby Collector would stop crying is if Philip played a game with him.
• Philip: *Swiftly grabs his dagger from Baby Collector's grasp* That is NOT a toy! >:(
• Baby Collector definitely used his powers to mess with Philip and cause problems on purpose lol.
• Baby Collector: *Trying to pronounce his first word* P...P...P... Pizza bagels!🍕🥯
Philip: ... No. My name is Philip.
Baby Collector: ... *excitably as he points at Philip* Pizza bagels!🍕🥯
Philip: 😑.

A + C= D would have been epic if the writers didn't spend the entire first season acting like the reality of bastardy vs succession was regressive.
These clowns had majority of the audience weeping that people were being 'mean' to Jace and Luke and painting out the Greens as puritanical conservatives that are 'bastard shaming' them.
What is worse, Daeron was nowhere near mentioned in season 1. They wanted him cut out.
So them suddenly risking Daeron being a super awesome bastard that was well hidden by Alicent (a political win for the Greens in terms of tact) on top of giving Alicent a satisfying sex life with Criston is very unlikely.
Maybe they thought about it and went "Hmmm... Do we really want to make the Greens that more awesome and intriguingly controversial?"
Obvious answer was no. They would not give that to us.
I don't know about a healthy sex life with Criston.
What I would do - if we were doing this the right way - would be that Alicent and Criston, in order to understand fully what it is they're safe guarding, to experience fully everything that have been taken from them in the name of duty, they decide to have a night of abandon. They make passionate and beautiful love the way they always wanted all their lives. They make a fortress of that memory, of that magical moment, when their souls were one, to hold onto forever.
When she becomes pregnant with Daeron she is unafraid and happy. She tells Criston that there was divinity in their love, that this baby was a gift from the Gods, a reward for their faithfulness. That they would have a child, flesh and blood, made from love and born of love, not of lust like Rhaenyra's bastards and not of duty like Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond. But a child conceived in the way - the true way - that the Gods intended children to be conceived.
That is why Daeron is not only her favorite child, but is beloved by all his siblings and the realm itself, because, he was born out of a pure distillation of not just any love, but the love of holy purity between the righteous. That on one night of pure magic the Gods blessed Alicent and Criston with an eternal reward of making their deep and star-crossed love into flesh and blood that they could hold and cherish.
And what drives Rhaenyra mad, what pushes her to go after Daeron, isn't that Alicent is a hypocrite, it's that she thinks that her bastard is a holy reward of true love's sacrifice while Jace and Luke are filthy because they were born from lust. For that, Rhaenyra would do anything to take Daeron away from Alicent and Criston, because they love him and they're happy.
Her dearest Papa is a rotting corpse, Harwin is a lusty brute whose only love is fucking her over a tale. Laenor is never not drunk and is not even discreet anymore about his male conquests. Meanwhile her very life hangs by a thread because all of her heirs are bastards with the wrong hair color.
So, why should Alicent and Criston be so happy? Why should Alicent be happy? Why should she get everything Rhaenyra always wanted?
And she won't stop till she's made that fancy self-righteous little priss as unhappy and miserable as she is by taking away the one thing that she loves more than anything or anyone in the world.
That's how I would do it.
