hello everyone!!! for those who may not know me, i'm calie and in the last year i have dedicated myself to making resources for rps whenever i can. i've been unemployed and for over 13 years relying on my meds that currently cost between $190 (R$1,000) and $240 (R$ 1,300) per month, taking in consideration that minimum wage per month here in brazil is $261 (R$1,412) and i rarely get any freelancer job, that won't cover even 15% of my meds. so with a lot of shame, i depend on my parents to keep up my treatment that cannot be discontinued. my city is broken, has no jobs, and i currently have no conditions to move and start over somewhere else. besides, my city had been once of the cities hit by the big flood in brazil for over a month, which made finding a job even more difficult, since establishments are trying to recover from losses. in these last few months, despite needing money, i've been feeling emotionally exhausted and worried with the situation (of expenses and the tragedy in my state), that i simple cannot focus in any project, therefore not being able to take in commissions (that helped me a lot). with all of that being said, i decided to come here, very ashamed, and expose my situation to offer packs of all my sources that i've done in my time as a creator. if you can help me buying any pack, or a ko-fi (source link), that would immensely help in my situation and i'd be really REALLY grateful. under the "read more" are more details about the packs and pricing.

Alligator Tracks

Milla: I don’t know who made these tracks. But if it’s a cute animal, I will keep it. No matter what!

Sasha: These tracks come from an alligator, but not from any alligator that I know of.

Radio (Siren) Tower

Milla: Caramba! This thing is always on. All day. All night. Every hour, on the damn hour! God!

Sasha: I’ve heard that they have been installed throughout the announcements. They’re still blasting NSR Promos. Milla may hate them, but I’m indifferent.

Lost AAM Award

Milla: A special award for Activism… they should’ve been given out to this day. Thanks NSR… not!

Sasha: I’ve heard so much about AAM Awards. They’ve been given out in the 90s. I guess not anymore.

Old Flight Cases

Milla: A promoter’s old flighter case? Whatever is inside there… is locked there forever.

Sasha: ‘Property of Sonidos del Erizo’. My spanish may be a little rusty. But thanks to the internet, it literally means ‘Hedgehogs Sounds'… why is it even there?

Sasha: Qwasa transformers like this one are installed across the city to stabilize power. They are easy to be broken for parts.

Sasha: Such a shame that signs like these are being more common. I still feel upset after my favorite drum store had that.

Milla: These things used to be held at Grand Festivals! It would’ve been so much fun to play with the performers who used these.

Sasha: There aren’t any opportunities as of right now. It’s all about EDM now.

Milla: Everyone uses these to make their own album covers! I have used them, and I plan on using this in the future.

Sasha: While Milla likes them. I think that these things are useless.

Sasha: It’s one of those instruments made by NSR. It’s a fact, that their instruments are made in best quality. Even my drumsticks are made by them.

Milla: Another brand-name replica. What’s next? DJ CCC-Branded scarves? DJ CCC-Branded helmets? DJ CCC-Branded underwear?

Sasha: Oh look, another pair of wireless headphones. NSR’s instruments may be top notch, but that won’t be said about their consumer merch. Especially with these headphones. The bass is weak, the price is high, and the volume is a little loud. But they’re not that bad.

Milla: A billion pieces? Why not a thousand? It’s only three 0s less! Why would DJ CCC greenlit this?

Sasha: This seems like a perfect weekend away from performing. Downside is the number of pieces. We still haven’t finished that thousand piece puzzle.

Sasha: NSR didn’t start promoting digital idols in Vinyl City, not so long ago. This game almost feels like a relic.

Milla: It’s a carving of the Elder Mangroove. Legends say that it used to hold up the entire outer rim, shame I could never see it in person. That is all of the source it has.

Sasha: The woodwork is amazing. I want to see one in real person. They say that a Mangroove’s rootwork would dance to the rhythm of drum circles every night.

Milla: “In honor of Master Tia of the Heart, whose notes have unlocked the souls of thousands.” Sounds like she hated this award…

Sasha: Master Tia? I’ve heard of her once. Mein Gott, I still remember how fast her fingers were when she played that piano.

Milla: Meu Deus! It’s an authentic 1010 Autograph Plate! They are 100 percent filled with authenticity! I mean, which I know despite that I’m uninterested with them. But it would be nice to have one… or all of them.

Milla: I never knew that all of the city’s water pumps were designed to be artsy-fartsy like this! It's… it’s actually nice.

Sasha: The reason on it’s nonsymmetrical design was because of Lucky’s identity… it might’ve been worth lots of money for it to be built.

Milla: Is the symbolism involve Lucky being grabby? Empty? Poor? Spoiled? Crazy? Hungry? Casino?

Sasha: This artwork was a symbol of Lucky’s lowest point in her life. A point where she felt helpless no matter what. Does she still feel helpless even today?

Milla: I feel… I feel creeped out. Can we go now?

Sasha: Lucky told me that she made this in order to repay the stares she had got. Which, possibly explain the many many eyes…

Sasha: The artwork was made to represent the pain and suffering Lucky had from listening to haters. It also smells like cauliflower. As in a way of saying that hearing comments of haters would figuratively lead to someone having Cauliflower ear. People can be so cruel.

Milla: So what do gemstones, hands, and a clock have in common? This. This artwork.

Sasha: The design of this was to symbolize both people watching Lucky and how she became less bothered by people as time moved on. Gives both meanings of 'watch’ a good name.

Milla: Ooh Phones! I… I’m guess this is to symbolize… no wait, it means… the answer is that I am really not into understanding art.

Sasha: Lucky was perceived herself, but she wondered how the world perceives itself. So, this artwork is possibly the reason on why this was made.

HONESTLY  THOUGH  we've  only  been  speaking  for  a  handful  of  months,  but  it  definitely  feels  like  we've  known  each  other  for  a  lot  longer  than  that.  (  we  met  through  this  blog!  i  reblogged  a  gifset  they  made.  )  i don't think i ever really clicked with anyone as fast as i did with milla; we became mutuals and started chatting in the disastrous tumblr ims, fast forward a few months later  they've  become  one  of  my  closest  friends.  anyone  who  gets  to  know  them  in  any  capacity  can  tell  you  they're  an  incredibly  easy,  comfortable  person  to  speak  with.  they're  sweet  and  funny  and  really  talented  both  in  terms  of  writing  and  graphics.  also,  have  you  seen  their  promo  videos?  now  you  have.  look  at  how  cool  these  are.  that  is  SUCH  a  fun  and  creative  way  to  get  a  blog out there.

also,  i  have  to  talk  about  kazuren  because  KSKSDKJ  they  are  the  SCRUNKLIES,  they  are  very  IMPORTANT  and  they  live  in  both  of  our  heads  RENT  FREE.  i  absolutely  adore  their  dynamic  and  everything  we've  written  for  them.  they're  a  comfort  ship!  they  have  character  development!  it's  so  much  fun  being  able  to  rp  something  you're  really  invested  in  with  someone  who  shares  your  level  of  investment  and  enthusiasm  —  genuinely,  it's  probably  one  of  the  best  experiences  that  can  come  out  of  this  hobby.  (  beyond  meeting  some  very  cool  people  with  similar  interests  in  general.  💖  )  i  don't  feel  embarrassed  brainrotting  about  the  scrunklies  in  their  dms  or  throwing  ideas  /  headcanons  /  asks  their  way  because  the  brainrot  is  mutual. it's silly, but it's such a nice feeling. ren in general is a muse i try to be very careful with, because i KNOW he can be difficult to handle at times, but i also don't really want to force him to act in ways that feel ooc — but milla is entirely fine with it ( and frankly, gold medal to them for putting up with this man's bs ) and it's led to a super complex, fascinating dynamic between our muses that just feels organic.

tl;dr  anyone  who  talks  to  them  can  attest  milla  is  a  wonderful  friend  and  they're  probably  going  to  yell  at  me  when  they  see  this,  but  i  regret  nothing.

sorey and rose for the character ask

(For this ask meme! Already answered: Mikleo, Magilou, Judas, Jude, Estelle, Eleanor, Hubert, Rutee, Lenneth Valkyrie, MCU!Wanda, Laphicet, Lailah, Rondoline, Milla, Asbel)

Also, in case it needs to be said, I’ll be doing both of these for game/manga-canon.

For Rose:

How I feel about this character: I went into Zestiria knowing absolutely nothing about her - no, for real, I actually kind of ignored a lot of Zestiria’s promotional material (just wait until you get to my answer for Sorey, anon, you guys are going to laugh so hard at me  XD).  So I didn’t know anything about Alisha leaving the party, I didn’t know anything about the fandom reaction (although I’d heard it got a lot of negative reviews, but I’m very much a “I’ll withhold my judgment until I’ve actually seen/read/played the thing myself” type).  So my initial reaction to her?  Damn, she’s an awesome assassin.  I wanna play her.  And as I got to know her better, and got to know her history and the world lore for Zestiria, she made more and more sense to me.  I also love that she wasn’t set up to be Sorey’s Love Interest either (that role was very very very definitely taken by the water seraph in the party, much to my shock and surprise, lol) and she was shown as a successful businesswoman and assassin, and honestly, I love her.  She wants to make the world a better place, and she’s not afraid to go all the way and do what she feels is right.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Alisha, low-key, not really a major ship, but if it’s written well, or drawn well, I’ll read/reblog it.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Sorey.  I love their dynamic, I love that she recognizes Sorey’s shortcomings and his reluctance to take a life, and I love that she’s willing to cover his weaknesses with her strength.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I didn’t find it all that puzzling that she didn’t generate malevolence as an assassin, especially after taking Berseria’s story and lore into account.  What generates malevolence isn’t so much the action, but the emotion behind it.  What sets Rose apart is that she has no doubts as to what she does.  She believes in what she does and her mission and that it’s the best way to make the world a better place.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I do wish they’d been a little clearer in terms of what actually happened that day with the prince, Rose, Dezel, and Symonne, because that is, to me one of the weakest parts of Zestiria’s otherwise excellent writing.

For Sorey:

How I feel about this character: Sweet cinnamon roll, just wants to see all the ruins in the world with his basically-immortal boyfriend, just wants everyone to get along, human and seraphim alike.  Oh, and did I mention whenever he smiles it’s like the sun’s come out?  No, really, that’s Sorey right there.  He’s also super determined, loves ruins, and adores Mikleo.  He might be a bit rash at times, charging headlong into things, but he always keeps his friends’ safety in mind, always thanking them when they help him out of a tight spot or just to show his appreciation for them coming along in the first place.  Especially Mikleo, since he gushes about him all the time, even when there should be other priorities.  Like, say, getting away from a hellionized Cardinal Forton, lol.  I also just love how he manages to have this ideal, this heavily romanticized notion of what it means to be a Shepherd, actually becomes the Shepherd, and then sees the world and how it responds to him, but never once starts resenting the world or hating the mantle of Shepherd - if anything, all these hurdles he faces only makes him more determined to do what he can to make the world a better place.

EDIT: I can’t believe I forgot to mention this, but, I initially didn’t much care for Sorey with the initial promo material release.  I thought he was going to be another Lloyd, or Stahn - really idealistic, book dumb, sleeps all the time.  Then I actually played the game and actually got to know him, and man did my opinion do a 180, lol.  Basically over the course of my first playthrough I went from “shrug Not a bias, he looks like he’s going to be another typical nice guy Tales lead” to “He’s a sweet nice guy with a massive crush on his Childhood Best Friend, and I must stan and protect him at every turn”.  What can I say?  Actually playing the game and getting to know him made a huge difference, lol.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: In case it wasn’t obvious between my above answer and my url and my answer for Mikleo, Mikleo.  XD

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Rose and Alisha.  I just love the dynamic he has with both girls, which are entirely platonic, in my opinion.

My unpopular opinion about this character: He’s not bland, he’s not boring, he’s not dumb - Sorey’s actually really book smart and grows a lot as a character.  It’s not obvious or fed to you on a plate, but it’s there if you stop and take a moment to think about it and do all the side quests.  He starts off very idealistic, and he really does remain that way all game, but he also learns about the world and how much he’d have to sacrifice to save it and possibly change it.  And in the end, he really does give up everything - Zenrus, the only parental figure he’s ever had in his life; the rest of his life as a human, in exchange for purifying Maotelus; his human friends, since he knows it’s going to be centuries before he awakens again; and Mikleo, in a way, because even if they reunite in the end, that’s still centuries of time Mikleo experienced and grew without him.  And honestly, tell me this - how many characters can go through everything, see everything, and still kill the man who made them kill their father figure without harboring some sense of anger or revenge?  Sorey’s strength of character shines through in that one moment, because he kills Heldalf in the end, not out of a sense of revenge or anger, but to free him from his suffering as a Mercy Kill.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.  Y’know, I’m pretty happy with his story, but I would have loved a Big Damned Kiss with Mikleo, complete with the romantic strings and camera pans, lol.  After everything both boys have been through, they’ve earned that happily ever after in that second epilogue.

Misión Haití Feliz

Carta Informe 13 de enero de 2022

Mateo 6:31-34:  Así que no se preocupen diciendo: “¿Qué comeremos?” o “¿Qué beberemos?” o “¿Con qué nos vestiremos?” Los paganos andan tras todas estas cosas, pero el Padre celestial sabe que ustedes las necesitan. Más bien, busquen primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas les serán añadidas. Por lo tanto, no se angustien por el mañana, el cual tendrá sus propios afanes. Cada día tiene ya sus problemas. 

Queridos amigos, 

Comienzo deseándoles un Feliz Nuevo Año 2022. Que este sea uno donde puedas completar tus metas, ver tus sueños cumplirse, y sobre todas las cosas que el Señor nos de, a ti y a mi, mucha salud para continuar con la carrera que tenemos por delante. Tenemos una “nueva realidad” y estilo de vida a consecuencia de la pandemia, y con ello tenemos que aprender a vivir. Así que como resolución de Año Nuevo he decidido continuar la carrera que tengo por delante... y allá vamos de regreso a Haití en enero 17, 2022. 

Como muchos ya conocen, a comienzos del mes de enero de cada año celebramos Fiesta Feliz con los niños en Anse-a-Pitres, Haití. Hacemos de ese día uno bien especial para los niños con almuerzo, regalos, juegos, golosinas... Y este año no será diferente. A pesar de todos los inconvenientes que hemos tenido a causa de la pandemia durante los años 2020-2021, Dios ha provisto para que podamos continuar llevando a cabo Fiesta Feliz con los niños de la Comunidad Refige.

Agradecemos a todos los que de una manera u otra han hecho llegar su compromiso de ofrenda a Misión Haití Feliz, y a los que respondieron a la promo para la celebración de Fiesta Feliz 2022. Muy especialmente a la Iglesia Cristiana Discípulos de Cristo en Mana que pastorea el Rvdo. Carlos Alvarado, con la colaboración y respaldo de Amneris Morales y Glory, líderes de la Iglesia, quienes hicieron posible la compra de regalos y de otros artículos para llevar a los niños. Ciertamente han tenido detalles muy especiales para esta servidora. Gracias mil. 

La Iglesia del Niño en Refige no se ha detenido, y cada domingo continua reuniéndose para la Escuela Bíblica Dominical. Los jóvenes con el Pastor Gustavo, los párvulos con Nina y los intermedios con Papo; con asistencia de mas de cien niños y jóvenes cada domingo. Estuvimos de receso con las clases de español y Discipulado para bautismos, las que retomaremos a finales de enero si Dios lo permite. 

Muchos me escriben preguntando cómo apoyarnos... ORANDO es una de ellas.

Existen varias maneras de hacer “misión”: aportando con tus finanzas, orando por los misioneros de campo, y/o yendo al campo misionero, ya sea a corto, mediano o largo tiempo. ORANDO es una manera en la que puedes apoyarnos en Misión Haití Feliz. A continuación te comparto algunos motivos de oración para este regreso a Haití:

Para que el Señor me cubra con Su gracia durante este viaje, y no tenga contratiempos en Aduanas con todo el equipaje que llevo.

Por un viaje en mar sin contratiempos o mal tiempo.

Por los niños y jóvenes, y sus familias de la Comunidad Refige, que el Señor los proteja, los bendiga, y haga provisión para lo que les haga falta.

Por los voluntarios nacionales Gustavo, Nina y Papo, que son mi mano derecha durante mi ausencia, que Dios los fortalezca, los llene de Su gracia para seguir impartiendo Su Palabra a nuestros niños.

Por el grupo de jóvenes candidatos a Bautismo en este verano 2022.  

Por sabiduría y nuevas estrategias para continuar con la Iglesia del Niño y todo el trabajo evangelístico que llevamos a cado en Ansapit, Haití.

Por mas obreros dispuestos a correr la milla extra. Queda mucho por hacer...

Por salud. Por mi familia. Por mis finanzas.

Dios ha sido fiel, y no ha fallado. Al Soberano Dios toda la gloria. Que pueda yo continuar siéndole fiel y al final entregarle al Señor buenas cuentas de la obra que puso en mis manos.
