person who voted that I’d like the beginning more than the tri movies: I feel like you should know I am one of the biggest tri lovers there is. that was the least safe bet there. that said I admire your guts.

#tri is not good but there is enough there I like that I think I can fix it. like not unsalvageable.#(meanwhile my thoughts on kizuna is that I think it’s premise is broken on a fundamental level but that’s neither here nor there)#i will say part of my love of tri DOES come from bias due to it being what got me back into the fandom and also I just think the community #during the tri movies and all the speculations were super fun.#so like I have a soft spot for it. i am willing to overlook some of the flaws and weird decisions.#the digimon au I have that haunts my mind constantly includes a complete rewrite of tri purely because I would want to share with people #what I think tri could have been. what it is in my mind. a look into how growing up effects the chosen and how the trauma from what they #experienced effects them. how the concept of being chosen is not always a net positive.#the fact I never talk about my au is very funny btw because it is almost always on my mind when I think about digimon stuff.#when I watch the beginning I guarantee you I will be thinking about if I could reasonably slot it into the au the entire time #hi sorry this turned into a ramble. anyway yaoyd au my beloved. once I rewatch adventure and can guarantee I will be able to talk about you #without accidentally mischaracterizing every character…. maybe I will talk about you more….#dramon thoughts
