🌸 Unique "TagValueNumbers" - Part 1 🎁 For my "CAS Filters" mod! (Patreon)

Tumblr appears to have a limit for how many users I can @ in a post, but I would like to @ everyone on Tumblr when I create filters for them, as a way to notify you about what I'm doing and so simmers who see this post can find you easily.

I might come off as an egomaniacal arsehole at times (always for good reason), but it's because I care about our community.

I opted to not re-blog the Tumblr OP linked above because it is subject to lots of changes and Tumblr doesn't update the "preview" of re-blogged posts, HOWEVER, you're more than welcomed to re-blog the Tumblr OP and/or this post.

🌸 A UNIQUE 9-DIGIT "ID" FOR EVERYONE:

The 9-digit numbers following your name are to be used in the "TagValueNumber" field for the "SpecialContent" TAG.

Each 9-digit "ID" is unique to the creator it was made for - it is based on your creator name. I made them using a slightly convoluted system I devised in order to ensure that every "ID" is unique and that the filter list in CAS maintains some semblance of alphabetical order. These "numbers"IDs" can potentially be used for other things, but we'll get to that later.

🎓 HOW IT DO, PIKACHU:

If you're well-versed in creating or modifying CAS content, all you need to do is add a new TAG to your swatches - you can do just the first swatch, but you should do all swatches - and change the "CategoryNumber" to "127" (without the quotes), and change the "TagValueNumber" to the desired 9-digit "ID".

For everyone else who is new to this, there are detailed instructions in the form of easy to follow screenshots attached to the Tumblr OP and the Patreon OP, with further text-based instructions in the Patreon OP.

Individual JSON files for Sims 4 Studio for each filter TAG are also available, to make the process of adding these TAGS easier.

Been meaning to do this a long time ago (and actually started it but never finished it, lol) as a way to share some more information about my ocs without needing to use a custom page theme, but mostly because I haven't found any page theme that looks exactly as I want and allows this much customization.

There are two versions and both are almost exactly the same; but the example shown in the left has an 'appearance' section which is small and has few quick facts regarding the oc's appearance; while the example on the right has a 'moodboard' section instead which allows you to add more info about your oc.

You can change every section/title to fit your needs like I did in the examples below; I personally removed some categories as well and got rid of some connections as this oc doesn't have that many close friends/partners to fill the original template. However, I also included an extra separated 'connections' section in the download in case you want to add more people and more information.

I recommend you stick to square-shaped pictures so it's easier to fit them to each section. Also if and when you edit the information or section titles, please select only one line at a time to replace it so you don't lose the text format. (Titles shouldn't change because that's a single format/font within the same text box, but should it change you can always hit ctrl+z hehe) When you're done, I strongly recommend you save this as a .png instead of .jpg so it's the best possible quality!

Last but not least, this is a .psd file. So you'll need either Photoshop (I did this with Photoshop Portable, but it supports newer versions of PS and it *should* support older versions too) or Photopea to open and edit this file.

Layers:

>Each layer is properly named and categorized. The general layers such as the background, the icon shape and background shapes are under the groups.

>If you don't want to see/don't need one of the connections' pictures and information, I recommend you find which one it is (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6) and click on the eye symbol next to the layer to hide it so that way if you ever need it, it won't be truly gone.

>To edit a text section, simply find the layer (such as General Information>Left Column) and double click on the 'T' symbol next to the layer. That way it will open edit mode and allow you to edit the text, just don't hit delete or enter while everything is selected or you'll erase it :p

>Main text sections aren't separated, they're blocks of text. I recommend you don't remove the amount (for example, if you downloaded the version with the 'appearance' section, which has 5 sections of information, don't remove the fifth line.) Either leave it empty or replace it with another data, otherwise it will look weird. >To add a new picture, simply paste it over this document and move it using the Move Tool.

>To frame it (so it becomes a circle or fits over the shape you want), make sure the picture layer is over the layer you want, then while holding alt click between the two layers. [For example, if you want to add a new main oc picture: 1) paste the pic you want, 2) move it with the Move Tool so it's covering the big circle, 3) once you've fully covered the shape (if it isn't you can resize it by right clicking on it then on 'free transform', sometimes you might need to hold shift to proportionally resize it) make sure the newly pasted pic layer is over the layer named "picture goes here", 4) hold the alt key and hover your mouse cursor over the line between your pic layer and the circle layer until you see an arrow going down symbol, once you see it click it and tah dah! your picture should now have the same shape as the circle! - you can further move it if it doesn't fit the way you want with the Move Tool (;

Others:

>You can change every color, font and section to your liking, just don't change the general layout of the template.

>To hide/show the guides (those bright blue lines all over the document), click ctrl+,

>'Inter' is a free font and you can get it in the link above (linked with the credits), Golften Vintage is not, but you can get the demo version >here< (just scroll down and click the blue download button under license). I will not tell you how to install fonts as it might be different for everyone (for me it's C:/Windows/Fonts and I just drop the zipped files (except the .txt one) there), but google is your friend.

Oh my god I almost had a heart attack.

When I look for your blog, I always put "shiny jr" on the search bar of Tumblr and then go to the "blogs" section, and there you are. But right now I did that and it showed the "there's nothing here" message. I tried thrice, and nothing. I was literally so scared that maybe you had deleted your blog. And then as I was typing your blog's name, it popped up on the search recommendations(??? (idk how to describe it, when blogs or tags that match what you are typing appear as suggestions for you to search or enter).

Out of curiosity, I've just tried the same thing on the web page on a laptop, without logging in, and the same happens. Your blog no longer appears on the "blogs" section when searching "shiny jr" on the Tumblr search bar. Neither do any of your posts on the "popular" or "recent" tabs. How weird. Did you activate some option that blocks you from being found? Your blog still shows up when searching on Google though. So maybe the problem is me? (although, I have tried on two different devices, while logged in and while not, and it does not change at all...)

Anyways, (unlike me who almost died) I hope you have an amazing day or night! :D

Okay, I got your other ask, anon. First, let me say, I found this to be kinda a cute ask, as weird as that sounds. Let me explain. In my perspective, it's like, wow, people would really notice and care if I suddenly disappeared.

But anyways, that sounds really strange. After reading your asks, I checked all my settings and nothing looked off? According to my current settings, I'm not hidden from users without an account and I'm not excluded from tumblr search/recommendations.

After I saw that, I went to check it out myself, and sure enough, my blog doesn't show up if you click enter upon typing it in. However, it does appear briefly here. Here's what I got, so you see it showed up one place and not the other. However, if you look at "top" or "latest" tabs, I show up there. I think it's because people specifically name me in their posts, which is why I appeared there on several people's posts.

I've asked another person to test it out on their end, and they received the same result I did. They saw posts mentioning me, my user appear under the search bar, but when they specifically checked "blogs" tab I wasn't there. I'm not sure why that's the case.

Just be sure to follow me if you want to be aware if I'm ever active or deactivate (I don't ever plan to deactivate). As long as you can find me on your following list, then I'm still around. Thanks for checking in on me!

I currently pilot a rather.. divergent ISP-N Kidd frame named Hope Is A Weapon, with a variety of drone and support systems.

I pilot my Hope through the use of a customized subaltern modified for utility, ease of maneuvering and personal preference.. though i have yet to fully come around to the idea of investing so much in one singular body it is.. comforting to have a body to call home. It serves as an aid to stay grounded in one's self.

I am writing a nsfw fanfic of rpf Arizona Dads but it is reader insert and I have no clue how to tag these types of things on Tumblr. (Ex Twitter-User here 😬) especially since that recent discourse I am just afraid of tagging stuff incorrectly but since my blog is entirely new I don't think anyone would see this, if I don't tag it, right?

Hello darling anon!!!! Welcome to Tumblr! I'm actually thrilled you reached out to me with this question cause I'm like a broody chicken where I want to tuck everyone under my feathers and keep them safe!

Tagging for MCYT fandoms has been a learning curve for me, so you're definitely not alone in your confusion. The advice I give is just from personal experience, so I welcome anyone reading this to offer corrections if need be!

Also, when I say maintag, I mean it's a tag on a new post you've created. Adding tags on something you reblog doesn't put that post in the tags for others to see, it's just for personal organization on your blog. (I've had people get mad at me for reblogging something with a "maintag" and honestly they can suck my dick to the base. That's not how Tumblr works.)

So, from what I can tell, if it's NSFW content, don't maintag "hermitcraft" or any CCs/characters. For example, if you're posting a fic about giving Tango the big time sloppy head he deserves, don't tag it with "tangotek". You should instead use a tagging system for your own blog. In this case, you could use the tag "t.angotek". It will stop the post appearing in Tango's maintag, but would be easy to navigate on your own blog.

RPF is a whole other can of worms, cause people don't like if you tag that with "hermitshipping". I tend to use "hermitshipping rpf", and I haven't been yelled at so far LOL

Ship tags are much harder when you get into multiple pairing territory. I think in your case, I might just be tempted to use an "arizona dad" tag. Maybe run a search and check what kind of content is in that tag first and decide if you want your post to show up there.

Then because it's reader insert fic, I'd use "reader fic" and/or "reader insert fic" tags.

Basically, sharing NSFW RPF content in this fandom is impossible in the maintags, so basically no one will see it, like you said. It really sucks. If you want it to be found, the trick is to make friends with The Perverts of the fandom, cause we all just reblog posts amongst ourselves lmfao

Start following RPF friendly blogs, cause we're a pretty small community but everyone is VERY friendly and willing to boost content.

Q. Have you seen lemotmo speculation on the upcoming episodes? Her theory makes more sense than what I feel like we're being told the storyline is. Do you agree?

A. Yes she and I have spoken and I tend to agree. Her speculation makes more sense than what it appears the story is going to be. Here's my problem. Tommy's presence makes zero sense if it's truly a Bobby centric thing. He means nothing to Bobby. And no matter how much I try to bend my brain story wise to come up with anything even something farfetched that makes sense for him to be featured in the funeral like that I come up with squat. It makes no sense for him to be there in that capacity. I also know he's no longer credited for episode 15 so it's possible they cut whatever it was they filmed of him. Karla kind of made it sound like several things got cut for time so it's possible they did but if that's the case his presence in episode 16 will make even less sense. So I'm lost. I know Tim said he serves a function outside of Buck but he hasn't for the entirety of this storyline so far so why would that suddenly change? Being involved in rescue stuff makes sense for all of the different stations so I can get that to make story sense. Nothing about the funeral stuff is adding up. He doesn't fit. And that's not me trying to start something because he genuinely means nothing to me but from an actual story point he doesn't belong there. He definitely doesn't belong if it's really about Bobby. His presence makes a bit of sense though if it's actually something to do with Buck. The fact that Oliver made a point of saying in interviews that Buck was safe this time and has now said in two other instances that he has lied about certain answers makes that statement a little more suspicious. I don't know. It's going to be so very boring if it's truly what we've all already guessed. They're going to think Bobby is dead but he won't really be dead. How do they find out and how do they save him? I cannot get excited about Bobby 'dying' yet again only to find out he's not really dead. We've seen that storyline way too many times now. So either have the balls to actually kill him (I don't want him really dead but I'm tired of this storyline every season) or stop. Come up with something different.

Hello! I mean this kindly - if you don't like dark content to the extent that you need to be able to block it from appearing on your dash entirely, I wouldn't recommend you follow me on here.

If you like my writing you can still follow me on ao3 and read my fics with all dark content obviously tagged, but on here I frequently post drabbles that can be dark and I don't thoroughly tag them. I do not tag my stuff on tumblr with any actual searchable tags relating to CoD or fanfic, only with my own internal filing tags, so if I'm appearing on your feed it means you either follow me or other dark content authors. I do generally put warnings if the content is going to be very dark or if there is explicit non-con, but I cannot guarantee that will always be the case.

I understand that some people will disagree with me, but this is my hobby blog on the internet and you don't have to follow it. I don't want anyone to follow me and be upset because they saw content they didn't want to, but it is not my responsibility to ensure you don't see dark content, it's yours. Please don't follow authors that post dark content or engage with posts with dark content if you don't want to see it.

I really hope this doesn't come across as me being a dick, I just am genuinely worried that some people risk their mental wellbeing to follow darkfic authors on tumblr because they like their non darkfic pieces. Please don't do that. It's not fair to you or the author. There are plenty of excellent authors who don't write dark content and your wellbeing is more important than fanfic.

KINKTOBER DAY 19: A/B/O [MAX VERSTAPPEN X READER]

This fic is part of a kinktober series where I discuss a different kinky concept with a different motorsports athlete every day. We also discuss the concepts in more detail through asks on my blog so if you have any thoughts, feel free to stop by!

(For a while now we've been discussing the idea of omega!max crashing and then going to heat when a marshal helps him out of the car, I thought that for today's kinktober we could finally give this concept it's own fic! If anyone wants to add their own thoughts or hear more about this, please send in some asks! I'll be tagging everything with 'marshal!reader')

You watch from your marshal post as a red bull goes wide and hits the barriers, the car spins twice and then settles, losing a wheel in the process. You wait until the yellow flag is out and then rush forward to collect the debris, as you have been trained.

You check on the driver, realising it's max when you see the number on the car. You try to confirm he's conscious, but when he spots you he motions for help getting out the car. There are other marshals already clearing the debris so you do as he asks.

The moment he's out the car, he's frantically trying to get his helmet off. He appears unharmed, but you can smell the fear off him from a mile away.

The moment his helmet is off, he takes a few deep breaths, looks at you, and then just drops his helmet and gloves and dives into your arms. You nearly both topple down, having not expected it, but luckily you manage to catch him.

He whines high in his throat, turning his neck to the side as he clings to you and that's when you smell it. The scent of slick finally making itself known.

You realise he's in heat.

You try to back away, knowing you're unmated alpha and that he must be reacting to you. But he whines and clings to you even tighter, refusing to let you go.

"Don't leave," he mumbles against you, "please don't leave."

The medical car arrives but max still refuses to let you go, trying to hide against your neck.

The doctor ends up telling you to come with him, knowing that trying to get an omega in heat away from an alpha they've chosen is a losing battle. You don't want to leave your post, but your instincts are completely honed into the omega who won't let you go.

You know you have to go with them.

Max is whining the whole car ride to the medical centre, hissing at the doctor when he opens the door when they arrive. You have to coax Max out of the car, promising him that you're coming with and that you won't leave him.

Not that you would ever want to leave him.

They end up injecting heat suppressants into his arm, which calms him down enough that you can convince him to let you go and escape out the medical centre.

It hurts so much, because all your instincts are screaming at you to go back and look after the omega who has chosen you. But logically you know that's not the case. Max must have gone into a shock heat when he crashed, and you were simply the first alpha he encountered. He doesn't even know your name, there's no way it's anything more than instincts and now that he's been giving suppressants, you're sure he's going to be mortified once he can think straight.

So you leave.

What you dont know though, is that the suppressants stop working after a few hours and he asks for the marshal who helped him. They offer him several toys and other alphas, even Daniel shows up to offer to help. Max turns everyone down, crying out for the marshal.

I hope everyone knows that these kinds of job listings are scams and probably dangerous. I've seen a couple of posts going around with similar ones where people are treating it like its a serious inquiry and it worries me.

Red flags:

First one doesn't name the company or describe the kind of work being performed

Nobody pays via check anymore

Great for young adults and retirees AKA people likely to have recently experienced notable shrinkage in their social circle (leaving school/work) and suddenly lacking a routine people will expect them to adhere to. AKA people who, should they go missing, it would take people longer to notice.

Tag spamming popular tags. Any post that does this should be treated as not genuine anyhow.

Amazon is not posting job listings on Tumblr. I promise

Work from home [warehouse] operator/packer. First they pack the product at the facility and then they mail it to your house to be packed I guess

Says the job is in the US but uses Singapore currency? At a US-based company?

Both posts coming from the same blog who appears to do nothing except post fake job listings for various companies

That's probably the whole scam, just scraping some personal info/payment details via a sus link, but worst case scenario it could be some kind of organ trafficking ring or something

If you see a job listing you like, even on an "official" site like Indeed, best to go to the company's site, find the job listing there, and apply directly

Shared this already on twitter, but my number one tip for navigating tumblr & ao3 if you are interested in a non-bat DC character is to search the tag of one of their side characters

For example, if I want to see Cassie-centric posts/fic, I'll search for Helena Sandsmark, and then I'll check out the blogs & authors who have made a post/fic with Helena in it.

On Tumblr, it helps if the character has had their own series. So for Bart posts, I'll search "Impulse 1995".

However, this doesn't really work on ao3 because people will just tag fics "Impulse (comic)" if Bart makes an appearance (which is really annoying! stop doing this!) In this case, filtering a side character like Max or Helen usually works!

Doing this will help you find people writing fics/posts centered around the character you're into, rather than fics/post that feature the character, but are centered around a bat character.

I already asked people to stop sending me videos from YouTube. I feel like I've been clear about how I feel about YouTube.

A lot of this is fake rumor stuff - non-LRLG rumor stuff - and should not be taken seriously, quite apart from the fact that a lot of it is based on lip reading, unverified translations, etc.

Also, frankly the Untamed BTS stuff is ancient history to me. I know it's new to you and new turtles, but for me it's so long ago. I almost never think about the BTS anymore, and digging back into it feels like going backwards. GG and DD are doing new things now, and I'm pretty focused on that.

I know that's probably disappointing to hear, but please understand that all this BTS digging was done easily 5 or more years ago in some cases, and while it was fun at the time, it doesn't feel relevant anymore to anything I'm following with regard to them. I also don't have much time on Tumblr these days (hence I'm often a bit behind on updates), and what little time I do have I don't want to spend on archaeology of topics I'm not currently focused on.

If I remembered off the top of my head anything I might have previously posted about this I would provide a link, but a lot of things are so long ago, I can't remember specific posts. It's possible I have posts on my blog about this topic, but it's just as easy for you to dig for them as it is for me to - probably easier, considering that you're motivated/interested in finding the content while I'm not.

I tag absolutely every post. I've put a tag reference and links to previous topics on my masterlist post. My blog is searchable and there's also a browseable archive for those on desktop. I hope this is all helpful in making it easier for you to find things.

You can call me S. He/him but I don’t really care. Made this blog because I recently found out there are others like me and my friends out there across the multiverse and, not really surprisingly if I'm being honest, shit sucks for them too.

Since it doesn't look like there's any therapist out there centered around working with (mostly) children who have saved the world and deal with divine responsibilities, I thought at least maybe making a blog like this would help. “What’s a chosen?”:

To sum it up, someone who has some sort of special connection with a Legendary Pokémon. The… details of what this entails varies from universe to universe.

“How do you know if you’re a chosen?”:

Like I said, varies heavily from universe to universe. Owning a Legendary doesn’t automatically make you one necessarily, but like, it could depending on how things work where you’re from. I wouldn’t know. In most circumstances I see, telltale signs of being a chosen are usually: Telepathic communication with your patron deity, the appearance of powers, fleshing out, having SOME kind of duty that involves working with your patron in one way or another, etc. Again, these might not be the case at all in some universes, or maybe some are and some aren’t. I really have no way of knowing. Either way, if you think you might fall under this umbrella in any sorta way, you’re welcome here.

“What’s fleshing out?”:

(Warning, this one is gross. Discussions of blood and vomiting ahead.)

Basically the process of… becoming a demigod, for lack of better word. ‘Least that’s what we consider it in my world. Not every universe has it I’m pretty sure, but who knows. The most common symptom of this is… ichor or “god’s blood” appearing in your veins. Which means evicting whatever’s in there right now. Through your mouth, typically. THAT part usually lasts about a night. (I think I’ve seen universes where it also involves growing new body parts similar to your patron’s, but we don’t have anything like that in mine.)

If you have any other questions, let me know. My knowledge is, once again, mostly restricted to my universe, but I’ll try and help the best I can.
