Sonnette?

... to be quite honest with ya, i totally forgot i owned this boy and had to ask a friend if i owned a dragon called sonnette LMFAO. thank you for reminding me of this poor things existence ‘cause hoo boy this dude’s been unappreciated for three years

1. he’s meant to be Big Npc Energy actually (as evidenced by the fact he has no lore after thee years, oof) but he was meant to be pretty much a servant to the mondire court’s fake queen, anora 

2. as a result he’s... allowed to do very little. his life pretty much exists out of his job and NOTHING else. anora is at least nice enough to not be mean to him or ask too much of him, but he kinda wishes she’d ask more of him so he’d have something to do...

3. but hot damn if he doesn’t look damn stunning because of his job, though. what do you mean, servants were usually low-class people? this dude’s rocking it. sure he has no life, but THATS FINE. (im joking, by the way.)

4. one of very few to know about the sand god hiding in the basement. he probably only knows because he wanted to clean out the basement, saw it was filled to the brim with sand and a snake god, and promptly said ‘oh fuck no’

5. probably still alive BECAUSE he promptly says ‘absolutely not’ to anything weird that happens in the mondire court. blood moon? no thanks, close the curtains. sand god? didn’t see him. small eldritch being that will Annihilate Your Sanity? just dont look at it

6. the fact he and iosefka are actually the only water dragons in the entire court probably means something. i dont know what. but it Means Something.

7. you know now that im thinking about it, im big tempted to throw this guy into deadwood instead, considering his colours fit deadwood-criteria and i’ve had nothing to do for him in the mondire court kjshfdf. he’d probably keep his mondire court backstory. itd just be the ultimate ‘oh fuck that’ re: the court and he fled. ill be thinking about that one

and i dont know what else to say about him kfjdsjfsf IM SRY...

TLJ commentary

here’s my Hot Take™ on the new Star Wars movie below the cut!

i lov one (1) reckless Resistance pilot and his name is Poe Dameron

Leia slapping Poe after that stunt,,, iconic

Poe’s and Leia’s whole Mother-Son dynamic is amazing

the whole scene with Paige Tico was very tragic but very heroic imo

FINN AWAKENING AND WANTING TO WARN REY !!!  <333333333

Meanwhile, Luke pranking Rey with "feeling the Force”

I love that Poe got way more screen time this time around

Finn trying to get rid of Rose at the escape pods omg 

ROSE TICO IN GENERAL YALL I COULD WRITE SONNETTS ABOUT HER

I lov Rose because,,, she is so dedicated to the Resistance,,,and she’s so so strong but you can feel that her strength comes from her empathy and kindness.

shes so soft and yet so strong  im crying

speaking of kindness, I think it says a lot about Rey’s character that she’s even willing to consider that Kylo still can be turned.  kinda emphasises what good heart Rey has that she truly genuinly tried to bring him to the light side

tbh Kylo claiming that he knew who Rey’s parents were was sort of ????? random ??? and didnt make much sense 

While I think the whole casino scene wasn’t that necessary, i really liked Finn and Rose’s dynamic there. they worked great together!  Also it was very sweet that they freed those horse-like creatures 

all those nurse-creatures on Luke’s emo island hating on Rey tho lmaooo

LEIA USING THE FORCE TO PULL HERSELF TO THE SHIP  WHAT A POWER MOVE 

Oscar Isaac is so hot in this movie i’m sweating 

tbh i greatly enjoyed Hux character in this movie, it was cool that they used him as a comic relief

that shirtless scene was so unnecessary why they do this thooo

im so sorry but i felt like every little ounce of my attraction to men evaporating (no offense Adam im sure you’re a gr8 guy!)

ok but on the bright side, the way Kylo killed Snoke was really clever 

following that, the whole fighting scene with Snoke’s guards was mad cool and great to watch. (tho it surprised me that at least Kylo didn’t use the Force to fight them??) 

Rey screaming and killing those guards was the sexiest thing ever i literally honest to god gasped in the cinema

and then i started thinking okay maybe i can get behind that whole Redemption idea, maybe he could do that,,,,,,,,,,,,, but no then that lil bitch had to pull that whole ‘let everyone die lol lets rule 2gether’ bullshit ://

anyway, Luke/Leia reunion had me in honest to god tears.

tbh ? i really didnt expect the kiss between Rose and Finn ?? i dont mind it tho it seems a wee bit random to me but okay

tbh Finn and Rey not having one conversation during this entire movie is a crime against God

OH MY OH MY POE AND REY FINALLY MET POE AND REY FINALLY MET IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conclusion: while that whole movie had a lot of parts which i enjoyed i ultimately wasn’t as shook as others seem to be.  i feel like it sort of lacks a conclusion in way or its like a filler preparing for the next movie. Also, i feel like Finn wasn’t as pronounced in this movie as he should have been. in any case, I personally preferred TFA, but TLJ was an alright movie too!  7/10
