Okay, so you like Velvet and Veneer? Well, if you get the chance, I want you to speak! TELL ME EVERYTHING!! I want you to give me headcannons please, as many as you can think of :)

AHHH! OK so I've never done anything like this but I put as many as I could think of. If I come up with anything else, I'll edit this and add it (or just make a new post)

(lots of words ahead 💀)

General headcanons :

- They one hundred percent had the Barbie mugshot but with Velvet's deadly stare instead

- and Veneer made sure he looked good; they are taking a picture after all

- I think Velvet might be a little taller than Veneer but they're both taller than average

- never leaves the house without heels or platforms or both

- Veneer has must-be-wearing-a-crop-top syndrome. Can't be cured 😔

- I'm sorry but they totally sang Circus by Britney Spears. That song is so V&V coded and has female and male vocals too 😩

- The sass is too hard to contain for this duo. Once a sly thought appears in their mind, they have to voice it (but I'm not complaining. They're iconic)

- Veneer can be a little blunt or rude sometimes. I know ppl like to imagine him as just the caring and silly sibling but he did everything Velvet did. He just had morals that started to kick in once the threat of being a killer was thrown at him.

(I mean did you see him nearly just toss Floyd down the toilet 💀)

- of course, I still think he is silly and kind and chooses to do so for a fair portion of the time but he's no stranger to being ignorant to most of his wrongdoings as well

- and I think they both have some trauma from practically killing Floyd. GET THEM THERAPYYY

- I think Velvet would like decorating and making things ✨Aesthetic✨

- like a little journal that she'd write her feelings in and then fill with beautiful stickers and photos (totally not a burn book....)

- I think Poppy would love love looove to see Velvet's journal filled with beautiful stationary. She'd probably get her into scrapbooking and they'd make the cutest little displays or books just brimming with photos, cutouts, diagrams, and more.

-Poppy and Viva can be a little overwhelming for Velvet at first but they'd totally become great gal pals and just chat all day.

- and at first, Bergen features might be a little....alarming to Velvet but she'd learn to love Bridget just like Poppy does

-also both are invited to the broppy wedding... 👀

- she also of course become friends with the BroZone brothers but I get more into that below ⬇️

"Story" headcanons :

- So for Velvet, I think in the movie she was so blinded by her need for fame and luxury that she didn't notice how her family (Veneer) helped her and stuck around through all the things she said and did. This would separate her from being just a complete villain because I do believe that she can reform herself into something better

- In Jail, I think Velvet would really hate it and everyone around her. She probably wouldn't want to talk to Veneer at all at first but being alone might give her time to reflect on herself

- over a little time, I think she'd realize how Veneer was always there for her and understood her ways. She'd definitely come back around and they'd be back to being as close as they were before, maybe even more

-It would take some time for both Velvet and Veneer to adjust.

- Veneer would dislike jail very much. He's so used to his life of luxury that I'm sure he'd be surprised by how little you get behind bars

- and with Velvet wanting to be alone, he would probably feel more alone than ever

- but he knows he did the right thing and even though prison sucks, he'd get through it

- Veneer would probably try to make friends with some of the people there but it is prison soo.... I'm not sure how well that would go.

- if anyone came to visit him, he'd be so happy cuz jail is sooo boring and he'd finally get to yap away to somebody who knows him.

- you just know they'd be styling that prison jumpsuit the best the can

- can you sneak heels into jail??

- Velvet and Veneer are kinda "eye candy" for the criminals in jail and they might get targeted by those who are jealous or looking for a fight

-Velvet's not the only one with an attitude problem, Veneer can very well relay a comment or two that can easily get them into some trouble. He'll have to work on that along with his sister, learn how to correctly treat the people around them

- After they become besties again, they'd have each other's backs like never before. I think Velvet really really does care about Veneer and if anything ever happened to him, she'd be devastated. This time, she'd really like to treat him how he deserves and nurture that sibling bond.

- and you know once anyone throws hands with one sibling, the other comes swinging

- 💥KNOCKOUT💥

- not the best thing to do if you want to get out of jail fast but hey, nobody messes with twins and gets away with it

- Due to other more serious situations being forgiven in the past, I think Velvet & Veneer wouldn't be in prison for too long. I can easily see BroZone forgiving them and offering to help the twins with whatever they'd need

- Veneer would definitely become great friends with Floyd and even Bruce. After all, he knows what it's like to be sensitive and a heartthrob 😌

- and I can see Velvet relating to Branch and J. D. She's probably a control freak (or was) and always wants everything to be perfect, just like John Dory. That's something they'd both have to work on. And I think Velvet and Branch can relate to one another's sassy sarcastic comments and occasional snide remarks.

- I can also see them joining Clay's sad book club. I need to see a scene of Veneer just balling his eyes out after finishing a book while all the others just pat him on the back 😆

- @horrorartist23 did a couple of drawings of Velvet & Veneer(or maybe just Ven idk) working at Bruce's Beachside Bar and I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH.

- ESPECIALLY since Bruce said his family was a total Veneer household. I think it would be so cute for not only his kids getting the chance to meet Vel&Ven but also for Vel&Ven to get a little bit of real work experience.

- it would be so good for them to work at a place like that to learn about themselves and a work environment.

- plus the whole island is gorgeous and pretty luxury, which would fit into they're ideal environment. AND everything is Rageon sized so they don't have to worry about being too big!!

- They'd literally be working hard and making it look easy 💀

- I think it's perfect and I love it

-after jail and therapy, I think Velvet would really love the life she has. She'd of course still make mistakes sometimes and her sass will never leave. That's just who she is and none of us would want to change that . But she'd have a way healthier mind and so would the people around her.

- I think both of them might want to actually learn how to sing and dance like real performers

- Velvet hates making mistakes or not being perfect at a skill immediately. I know how that is and it's really difficult to get past but with more encouragement from Veneer and even the Brozone brothers, she'd become the star she always knew she was.

- And Veneer would take initiative for himself and practice performing like a real idol. I feel Veneer would also struggle with wanting perfection immediately but I think he'd really fall in love with dancing and this would help him keep up the determination. And he'd be really good at it too after some practice

- Knowing how good they can be if they put in the work would be a huge motivator too. Cuz they only stole Floyd's talent, not his voice. And because of this Velvet knows that she sounds good when she's at her peak in skill. They know that they can be amazing, they just have to work for it this time

-Trying to become famous again for the right things would definitely be hard. They're reputation is awful

- BUT, I think Mount Rageous would give them a chance to prove themselves. Considering how all Rageons are obsessed with media, fame, and celebrities, I think they couldn't resist the bait of former popstars Velvet & Veneer coming back to the stage, this time with their own talent that they've truly worked hard to perfect.

- And they'd deserve it for how much work they put into reforming their lives.

- Plus, nobody can take away their love for the stage and performing. They're too iconic to forget 💅

- and you know I'd be keepin' my eye out for that V&V/BroZone collab 🌟

- First live performance with BroZone, Velvet and Veneer are getting their Perfect Family Harmony. And you can bet it will be the most amazing thing to ever grace the planet

- I'd die 💀

he's so sweet, like he's made of bloodstained sugar. he was your best friend, but sometimes he acted strangely around you in a way you couldn't exactly understand. you'd never really understand what the hell was going on behind his sparkling blue eyes when he looked at you. sometimes he would have blood and god knows what else on his clothes, but he would just quickly brush off your concerned comments. it was strange really, the way people you didn't know too well who got just a little too close would disappear in a matter of days. your friends and family would slowly cut you off out of fear that they'd disappear too, mangled and left for dead in the basement of your best friend. of course, nobody actually knew he was the one behind this, slowly pushing you closer to his own self. he wanted you all to himself, and he would stop at absolutely NOTHING to achieve that goal. eventually he'd be the only one left, leaving you confessing your love for him. it was all worth it, he had realized. as long as he had you all to himself, he'd gladly do it again.

vantacrow bringer ->

he won't let anyone get too close in the first place. nope, not happening. much like the previous hc's i wrote for yan! piochan, he's extremely violent and completely open about it. he would pass it off as him just getting jealous and going too far by "accident". part of you would begin to wonder if it was an accident when he kept doing it, continuing to leave the mangled and disgusting bodies of the people close to you in the streets. he won't give a fuck if you see, it's better off that way anyway so you can see how much you mean to him. he'll worship you like a damn deity, believing all the disgusting people you considered friends and family don't deserve you at all. they're sickening really, trying to taint you. he's just doing his job and keeping you safe from their disgusting presence and tainting your beauty and grace, and he will NOT stand for that. you're his fucking deity for god's sake (haha im very funny) and he won't allow anyone to get close to you at risk of diluting your grace.

vezalius bandage ->

oh my god i've been waiting to write this one. he's so sweet it's almost unreal, always giving out freshly baked pastries to your friends and family. the only strange thing is that he won't let you have one. it's no surprise to him when your loved ones come to him a few days later complaining to the medic of sickness. let's just say his various scalpels were stained with blood that day. that's his way of doing things, making them all depend on him for healing then simply disposing of their bodies later. sometimes he'll simply add extra arsenic or cyanide to the things he gives out and let them go quietly. as long as he has you all to himself, it doesn't really matter. he's not all violence though, he'll also make your loved ones simply cut all contact with you. the day you made your relationship with him official, he would be willing to do it all a thousand times over just to feel your kiss again.

Friend For All

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now. In my opinion, Dagur is the only character who could actually have an amazing time hanging out with every member of the Dragon Riders. I don't even think the Riders themselves can say that. Please, hear me out. I know they're friends, but they're a friend group. This is an important distinction because how often do you really see Fishlegs and the twins just having a ball together? (That "wedding" doesn't count because the poor Ingerman was not enjoying himself.) What about Snotlout and Astrid just genuinely having fun without anyone else there? You really don't get that. So, I'll try to explain why I think Dagur could do this. (Spoilers probably. I'll just use the warning to be safe.)

Dagur and the twins could have chaotic fun. It's probably unsafe for anyone around them, but no one else is matching their pure insanity. All three of them have this combination of sometimes just doing things to mess with people or just doing something that then causes problems by accident. Still, I think they'd have fun. They can try to out prank each other (think Loki Day). They also still know how to be serious when the time absolutely calls for it, so they could have less silly times too. Ultimately, I think their best times together would be when they're just causing heck for the world and laughing together about what they've done.

Dagur and Astrid could enjoy the more warrior/protector side of life. I think there would be a healthy competition. Astrid was in charge of keeping the Edge secure with defenses and Dagur snuck on several times. He might even end up being the tester for her new security systems. I could see her trying to make things to keep him out and him being fine seeing how close to death he comes while still trying to break in. Also, since Astrid's got that drill sergeant thing going on that we saw in "Team Astrid," I could see her being curious what types of training he has his soldiers do. They might even trade ideas back and forth to have the strongest fighters.

Dagur and Fishlegs is a friendship I have wanted to see more of ever since "Family on the Edge." They were so adorable geeking out together about Gronckles. They're such an odd buddy duo because they seem like complete opposites, but I think it could work. Fishlegs wanted a spa area and are we really going to say Dagur wouldn't love that? Mr. Meditation and Fruit Baths? Yeah, he'd happily tag along for a spa day. Then, they can geek out more about Gronckles or other things like this. A personal headcanon I have which adds to this is I believe Dagur is pretty well-read. There are little things like him knowing about the third eye, French, how to make the antidote for Nadder venom when he got shot (since they didn't have dragons on Berserker Island), etc. So, I feel like he and Fishlegs might have more things to nerd over than most assume. Dagur even was impressed by Fishlegs's thirst for knowledge. Maybe they could discuss the different topics they've read and studied. Study buddies! (Sorta)

Dagur and Snotlout are a duo I think would be amazing. Like with Fishlegs, there were episodes where I just knew I wanted more of them together. Seeing them fight off traitorous Berserkers, then start providing commentary to Hicctrid in "Mi Amore Armorwing" were some great moments to me. The reason I think they could work is that I feel like they'd be good influences on each other. (Actually, I already have a story out on AO3 that dives into this called "Means We're Friends.") Dagur is himself and always will be. Even in RTTE, there's a part of Snotlout who still wants to be who others...namely Spitelout...think he should be. Dagur could help him learn to just be whoever he really is and not care what anyone else says. Also, Snotlout is more sensitive than he'd ever admit, so I think he'd be able to help Dagur in those moments when the Berserker is just clearly not picking up on how to respond properly in situations to avoid weirding everyone out. They could also do a bunch of sparring together too and get into random things for fun like how Snotlout started narrating Tuffnut's search for Chicken. I definitely think Dagur would've joined in on that.

Dagur and Hiccup...well, of course. They're brothers and friends, so that's a given. These two are going on the wildest adventures because Hiccup will never really stay put and Dagur would get bored if he did. There's that fun protective side too. Anyone around them knows that if they mess with Hiccup, they're dying in the most horrific ways possible. Plus, we'd have to throw in some big brother advice moments from Dagur to help Hiccup out with becoming a chief in the future. We've seen the redhead offer advice to Hiccup before with not letting revenge consume him. We've also seen Hiccup offer some comfort with things like their search for Oswald. So, you'd get the more adventurous/fun side of the friendship along with the more serious moments.

On Monday, I'm going to publish a series of oneshots set both in and out of their universe to show how these relationships could work. Considering Monday is April Fool's, I just knew which group I had to start with...(It's out now and called "Just One of the Riders.")

Hi! I actually have been working on a longer post about this, but it is a tad bit of a bummer so I'll do a lighter one here!! Sorry if it takes me a couple days, which I have a feeling it will! You all know by now I'm a MASSIVE Spider Sully truther and I'm assuming this is in response to my recent post adoption Spider post, so here are my Spider Sully headcanons in that world (if you wanted a different au, Spider Sully at the Omaticaya growing up or Spider Sully in modern era or something else, please let me know):

-There are certain things about Na'vi life that Spider isn't actually used to, because he would go home to Hells Gate at night and was excluded. He is now forcefully included. Lo'ak, Spider, and Kiri play a game called 'Is this Spider or is this just weird?' where Spider has to guess if the thing he's unfamiliar with is a universal thing (the way they bathe, Spider has a shower in his bathroom at Hells Gate) or is this a weird Metkayina thing (the way Ao'nung chooses to climb up to the rock pools at the edge of the reef, definitely weird and definitely funny). It gets kind of cliquey when anything they do for weeks with the Metkayina kids devolves into the three of them whispering and giggling to each other. It almost ruins their entire relationship with Ao'nung, until Lo'ak caves and tells Tsireya what they're doing.

-Kiri, Lo'ak, and Spider are just weirdly cliquey in general. Tsireya, Ao'nung, and Rotxo hadn't noticed before with just Kiri and Lo'ak because they'd been missing the third musketeer, but now it's almost impossible to be around them. They have so many inside jokes and sometimes they all look at each other and have silent conversations with their eyebrows (Ao'nung never thought he'd be jealous of eyebrows) and facial expressions and then act like a decision has been made. It's just that the three of them didn't have many other close friends at home, not with a trust and a bond like the one they all have, so it's hard to adjust and add people. Tuk was natural because she grew into them, but going swimming with Rotxo it's almost hard to remember to include him. A distinct effort goes into the three of them unlearning their insular ways and letting new friends into the clique lol.

-All the Sully's are very protective of Spider for a long time. No one can even touch him for a couple months after he's back. Tsireya teaching him to breathe underwater still somehow ends in Kiri hissing at her when she goes to touch him. Kiri was always protective of Spider, but Lo'ak always treated him like anyone else. Most of his scars and injuries growing up came from dumb stuff Lo'ak suggested they do or accidentally caused when roughhousing. Now Lo'ak treats him like he's fragile, not letting anyone near him. It takes them a while to get back into their normal rhythm, or at least a new normal. Probably after some sort of dangerous thing Ao'nung convinced Spider to do goes wrong.

-Yeah, definitely the first time Spider is let out of any of the Sully's sight he's frat boy hazed by Ao'nung, who is NOT A FAN for the first month of so of his stay there. Ao'nung learned his lesson from the Three Brothers Rocks incident and was like leaving him right at the edge of the reef is good. Spider just attracts all danger though. Before he can be killed by anything, Jake's Lo'ak spidey sense goes off but Lo'ak is right in front of him so it can only mean one thing: now theres too of them. Neytiri finds Spider minutes after on her ikran.

So, a few short headcanons I've been thinking about over the past couple of days:

After the Sunrise Spectacular spectacle, Gustavo STILL calls Héctor Chorizo. In an interview with some tabloid journalists, he tells all about Héctor's nickname and its origin and how half the local musicians just knew him. The Rivera family inadvertently finds out about this and Héctor has to explain it away, exasperated and clearly still annoyed by it

One day Héctor and Imelda are out for a walk when they happen to pass right by Gustavo, who calls out "Hey, long time no see, Hec - I mean, Chori-" and his face is immediately met with the devastating weapon that is Imelda's boot

Imelda has to give Héctor multiple Pepita Riding Lessons

Victoria is part of a baseball team and invites Héctor to join up after finding out he's pretty good at catching things that are heading for him at high speeds (he became proficient at it during one of his early attempts to cross the bridge, which he only explains as "flying bunny-tortoise alebrijes" and does not elaborate further)

Héctor rescues Chicharrón's guitar from Ernesto's pool

Héctor may not be alive and his memories may not matter in the same way that a living person's does, but he still tells stories of the Forgotten - friends from Shantytown that suffered the Final Death. He never forgot a single one, and even though they're gone, he refuses to let them be forgotten by anyone else.

First impression

I always liked hunter from the very beginning, as early as knowing he was the guy introduced next to belos in the s1 finale, i just was curious to know more about this weird teenager belos had clearly given special treatment to. I was already interested in belos as a character so seeing hunter was already leaving me curious because of that alone.

I didn't know what he would be about till he showed up, but i was a fan before he got popular, cause he didn't until ep 6.

Impression now

Still love him, think he's probably one of the best additions to the series as a whole, he's constantly intriguing and interesting and has some of the most interesting drama in the series, his connection with belos adds to him as a villian and hunter is just well written overall.

Honestly baffles me when people either think he's awful or boring, ect ect.

Most people who say this stuff, kinda just seem like they don;t understand his character at all? that or they're biased.

Even if he's not your thing i think there's good reason ppl quickly got attached to him.

The way they managed to make him understandable and sympathetic even when he's technically working for the villain just works so well.

Favorite moment

Honestly i do love his scene with luz in HP when they just talk about things and he admits he's powerless and wants to be free, it's just a nice small scene and his interactions with her are so cute.

His fight scenes are also glorious.

Idea for a story

Gee, what could i put down that no one has done before?

UHHHH, look how about more wholesome stuff, cause 90% of his fics are angst, more wholesome content with friends, wholesome aus where idk he and belos don't have a horrible relationship, human aus where he gets to do normal kid stuff, just more fluff please.

Unpopular opinion

Hmmm, what is an unpopular opinion about hunter? I feel the majority agrees on the same stuff.

HMMM

I....don't think he needs to change his name, or that he even needs to be a clawthrone either. Even if belos did name him after his job role, hunter does not automatically need to change it to something else, witch hunting is not his identity and it never was, hunter doesn't even know what a witch hunter really is.

If he wants to change it, sure, but he doesn't NEED to.

And ppl really want eda to adopt him but the show currently doesn't at least feel like it's setting that up, tbh based on these last few episodes it seems if anyone is taking him in it's darius they're setting up for that role as he is the adult they are giving the most of a parental connection to him. (a bit fast yes, and i think darius was still quite mean to hunter before he saw hunter rebelling and i feel that should not be overlooked because he he talked down to hunter like that was pretty bad, but still).

(Also i dunno, if wittebro married a clawthorne does that technically make hunter eda's grand uncle in a way? would that make adopting him weird or because it was so long ago it doesn't matter since they'd share very little dna at this point?)

Favorite relationship

Just like with belos i find their relationship interesting, even if also very heartbreaking with all it's weird layers.

as far as more positive ones, luz and him are fun together.

Favorite headcanon

Him being a major cartoon fan is the best thing ever btw

Why I Think Jamie Winton is Autistic

An anon sent me an ask asking why I think Jamie is autistic, so here is my explanation. I'm autistic myself, but every single autistic person is different, so I can't speak for everyone. Please forgive me if I didn't explain things clearly. If anyone has any thoughts they'd like to share, or examples to add, please let me know! (Explanation about why I think Thomas has ADHD is coming soon!)

Reliance on daily routines - Pretty much the first thing we learn about Jamie is that he loves his routine. All of his work outfits are on coat hangers labelled with each day. He has the exact same breakfast every single morning. He doesn’t like stepping out of his comfort zone whatsoever.

There's also the part where he temporarily gives up on finding Layla, and he keeps going to work despite the end of the world;

Paula: Jamie, why are you bothering?

Jamie: Because I'm a bank manager. I mean, what else of me is left? At least here, I know where I am.

I know that this is because he’s depressed and protecting himself from more pain, but as an autistic person myself, I tend to bury myself in my routine even more than usual when I’m depressed.

Finding it hard to understand what others are thinking or feeling - We know that Jamie is definitely a kind, caring person, but sometimes he doesn’t recognise that he’s not the only one feeling things. For example, he doesn’t realise that Paula would be upset about him not calling her for a week until Dave brings it up.

Dave: Listen, I know Layla did a number on you, and I’m sorry, I really am. But it’s time to start thinking about other people now. Like Mary, like Paula.

Jamie: Paula? What’s Mum got to do with this?

Dave: Paula rescued you from the car park! Paula raised you! I mean, have you called her this week? No. I know you haven’t, because I did, and she’s gutted. Look, you’re upset, of course you are, but we’re all upset, mate. Everyone’s scared.

Also, the scene where Dave says he wants to car surf and Jamie is quite blunt with him:

Dave: This is not just about you. You’re not the only person who’s got stuff he wants to do before he dies.

Jamie: Right. Yeah. Okay. But my stuff actually means something, doesn’t it?

After both of these conversations, once Dave has explained things to him, Jamie clearly feels guilty about the fact that he’s disregarded other people’s emotions. He’s not a jerk, but sometimes he just gets so caught up in his own head that he doesn’t think.

Having increased empathy or immense care for people - On the other hand, Jamie can also be incredibly empathetic. I think that the best example of this is when he goes back to working at the bank, and he lets homeless people come and sit inside where it's warm, and clears a lady's mortgage so she doesn't have to worry about getting kicked out of her house.

Difficulty regulating emotions - Jamie definitely has a lot of emotional meltdowns over the series; for example, when he’s banging on the glass yelling at the cops, and the “I’m not having a meltdown!” scene. Also, Layla mentions him getting “high-pitched and shouty”, so these kinds of things still happened before she disappeared and Jamie got depressed.

Difficulty with relationships - He'd never had a girlfriend before Layla, and he was an adult when they got together. Not necessarily an autistic thing, but I think I can count it.

Extreme interest in one particular topic - This one is just a headcanon, but since Paula mentions that Jamie was obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when he was a kid, I like to imagine that was one of his special interests. He's also intensely single-minded when it comes to finding Layla to the point that nothing else seems to matter to him.

Dream

Dream’s been feeling a wave of sadness, depression, loneliness for awhile now, but he didn’t realise that it was from them until one night he was simply walking by their room and heard crying and got that surge of negativity from his friend. “Y/N?” He said, gently knocking on your door, he listened to the scrambling on the other side.

“one second!” He heard them say, they’re voice was shaking, were they okay? Maybe he should talk to them.. Y/N’s door opened and Dream looked at them, examining their face noticing the red puffiness on their face, followed by the small-mostly dried out trail from tears as well as Y/N’s breathing being off it’s usual pattern “did you want something?” Y/N spoke, prompting Dream to speak.

“Oh, right.. uhm.. Y/N, I wanted to ask, have you been crying..? Are you okay?..” Dream tried to word his sentence in a way that hopefully wouldn’t upset Y/N “wait- are you okay? Y/N- uhm, I’m sorry..?” He tried to correct himself when Y/N started to sniffle almost crying at the question “I-It’s fine.. it’s fine..” They said as tears started falling

Dream quickly grabbed some tissues and tried to help his friend “Dream, it’s-“ “you’re crying, please tell me what’s wrong, I want to help-“

Nightmare

He huffed when he felt another wave of negativity, everyone should be asleep, and he doesn’t allow anyone in his castle the ability to have Nightterrors. Annoyed, he stood up from his desk and went around the bedrooms checking for where the negativity was coming from “Y/N’s room? The fuck do they have going on?” He mumbled to himself, carefully knocking on their door.

“Yes..?” He heard a sniffled voice speak followed by shuffling “you’re crying. What’s wrong?” He didn’t beat around the bush, simply stating why he had knocked on their door. “‘m not crying, I’m fine, Boss..” They said, opening the door to see him sigh

“Y/N, it’s 12am, everyone else is asleep, tell me what’s wrong. I care about you” he didn’t like admitting that, but hopefully it meant something “… thanks, Nightmare..” they stepped aside, letting Nightmare into their room and be sat himself onto their bed

“Now, are you okay?”

Nightmare

He’s rude, he pushes for an answer all the time, refusing to leave until he figures it out

Dream and Nightmare tackle this sort of thing mostly the same way, just.. Nightmare tends to be more forward and less gentle with his approach

He cares about all his team, including Y/N

But after ‘the event’ he’s just became a little more evil

Doesn’t mean he won’t spend the night looking after Y/N as they cry

Mmm okay, I see you typically do [character] x reader headcanons, and I was wondering if you do others as well? Bc I have this hc where the main group of station house 4 (Murdoch, Julia, George, Brackenreid and Watts) are all slightly…. inhuman. They are still human, of course, but there’s something odd about them. Since he was a kid, for example, Murdoch would get these insanely accurate intuitions that go beyond just being observant, and when Julia tends to someone’s injury they seem to heal faster than they would with anyone else, and George has a way with words, both written and spoken, such that he can convince almost anyone of anything (no matter how unreasonable) if he really puts his mind to it. Bullets and knives leave Brackenreid slightly grazed when he probably ought to be dead, and Watts would never admit it out loud, but he’s sure he’s seen the restless ghosts of victims they’ve uncovered wandering around the bullpen.

Of course those are only my own thoughts about what “powers” they’d have. I’ve been mulling this idea over for a while and I’d be really interested in hearing your take on it!

first of all, all of these sound so accurate and I really enjoyed reading this. I especially love the Watts one, because its something that once I read it and imagined it it just fit so well with Watts, if you get what I'm saying lol. K the Brackenreid one is also really cool because ya he almost died in that one ep, but nooooo he was okay thankfully. George and Julia's are super neat I think, because again like the Watts one just fits so well with their character. The Murdoch one hands down is soooo fitting and would be a cool plot for a show along with all the other characters.

I can just imagine them telling each other for the first time and they're like "you have a power too???".

I feel if Henry didn't have a power he'd feel left out/jealous, BUT his bro George would try and make him feel as included as he could.

You know I think everyone would be pretty chill about it in the station house, but idk if they'd like tell the public ya know, they might think they're a lil crazy.

Watts would somehow slip up and tell Milo, but he’s real chill about it and finds it fascinating.

Overall this would be a real cool thing to have and would almost bring everyone together and closer:).

Can I have a headcanon of the adult trio if they were in harry potter, like what house they'd be in, and who you'd ship them with?

Oh, this was so fun to imagine!Regarding theLove Interests, I didn’t place them with characters I actually ship them with but theones I think might have higher chances of getting their attention… The triowouldn’t be more interested in romance than they are in the Hunter universe,but having to live with several peoplein the castle during the year might end up making a few of them stand out in theireyes.

Their “preferences” would remain the same as well. Also, I only went forcharacters that actively appear in the books (including some of the adults). Ihave to say, this part was a bit hard, but I had a lot of fun! If anyone there has aheadcanon of your own or some idea about this particular scenario, please tellme!!!!

Illumi

House: Ravenclaw (definitely intelligent enough) or Slytherin(cunning enough). He would be one of those particular difficult students tosort (maybe they should create a House just for him…)Blood Status: Rumored Half-Blood or Pureblood (it isn’t clear andit’s not like people have the guts to ask Illumi anything personal).

Illumi in aboarding school is not quite a good idea, not only because the Zoldyck familywould still be known assassins and prefer to teach their children at home, butalso because of Illumi’s firm belief that assassins don’t have friends andbeing forced to live with other people during the year would make him dislikeschool quite a lot.

Regarding thefamily trade, it is very likely that Voldemort tried to recruit them, beingdenied (same going for the Order of the Phoenix). While the Zoldycks didn’tmind doing jobs for both sides back in the days of the war and even afterVoldemort’s second rising, they refused to take an active position and bothsides knew better than to cross any lines with them, reason why Voldemort nevertried to resort to blackmail or any other forceful method (despite hisarrogance and horcruxes, he knew it would only make the whole family out for his blood and they might jointhe Order then, which was an unnecessary risk as long as they kept acceptingmaking business with him) and arguments about how this war affects everyone andthey should do what is right also don’t yield much results. It’s not easy totell if they would eventually take a side when Voldemort took control orcontinue with their lives.

Truth is, theZoldyck don’t believe in blood supremacy (blood is all the same when it’s spilled),but they honestly couldn’t care less about this war since they are powerfulenough to keep themselves safe and move away if it seems to be the best for thefamily. Some who harbor more sense of honor and personal morals (such as Zeno,perhaps) may despise Voldemort for “killing for fun” or such “unfounded motives”and the level of torture his side employs even without need, but that would beit. Of course, that’s not considering Killua, who would join the Order as soonas he could, but I digress.

Because of hisreputation, it’s very unlikely thatIllumi would suffer any bullying for whatever reason (such as his mother comingfrom the Meteor City). And even if others didn’t know him to be a Zoldyck, he wouldstill be the sort of guy that others get out of the way by pressingthemselves against the wall.

Students thatknow about the Zoldyck’s family business would prefer to keep their distancejust in case at first, Illumi’s attitude later making this seem the saferoption. The few who don’t know or try to approach him anyway would realize quitesoon that Illumi doesn’t want anything to do with them and it’s better to leavehim alone. He has enough self-control to not kill people around him just becausethey irritated him (and a cold glare has proved to be as effective in thisscenario), but those who tried (insisted) in befriending him would be utterlydisliked by Illumi, even if their intentions are actually pure. He doesn’t need friends. He doesn’t want friends. And despite everything, ifit became necessary to be cruel (verbally) in order to make those people getthe message, he would.

Illumi’sthreatening reputation wouldn’t be enough to push some admirers away, but mostof them would be too wary to approach him directly (love letters or gifts arecompletely ignored by Illumi, I might add). Note that while he doesn’t form deepemotional relationships, Illumi wouldn’t go around antagonizing people. Wantingto have a peaceful life in school, he would remain polite (unless provokedbeyond his self-control) to his classmates, being that quiet guy who is notfriends with anyone but is neither bullied, mean or someone’s enemy, per say. Ina way, Illumi sees this school as an assignment of sorts that must be completed(though he tries to sway his parents to allow him to be educated at home). Juststay out of his way and you’ll be fine.

The rich andsnob clique of the school may have some derogatory opinion of the Meteor Cityand people from there (regardless of how damn rich the Zoldyck are), but theywould know better than to say an “A” about Illumi’s mother (due to his family’sreputation, some wouldn’t want to talk about Illumi even in the privacy of theirdorms, fearing he has a way of knowing it anyway).

Possible Love Interests: (Illumi isn’tinterested in love in his own story, what makes you think it would be anydifferent in Hogwarts?)

° Narcissa Black:Although not much of Narcissa is revealed, it’s clear that despite being anarrogant woman, she values family above all else. If attending school together,Narcissa might be somewhat curious about the Zoldyck, which she would hide outof pride (and some self-preservation that she will never admit). The fact he stateswithout a care that blood purity is plain stupidity would make room for sometension between them on her part (and not always in a good sense) as Narcissa,while not dumb to provoke him too much, she wouldn’t cower in fright at hissight either. If things would be good between them is another matter completely…They might develop a somewhat friendly ground after a while or become nastyenemies, depending on how both respond to the situation and how far they arewilling to take things. There is also the possibility of the Black familyconsidering trying an arranged marriage between her and Illumi.

° Hannah Abbot:Now, this is a tricky case and one I wouldn’t quite call “romantic”. WhileHannah appears to be kind-natured and gentle, also loyal and courageous as shestayed to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, she also demonstrated a somewhatvulnerable side that allows her to be swayed by other’s opinions (two evidences:In the second year when she was convinced by Ernie that Harry was attackingpeople, despite thinking Harry had always seemed a nice guy and on the fourthyear it’s safe to assume she was among the many Hufflepuff students who worethose badges against Harry despite having been in good terms with him).

I don’t thinkIllumi would actively pursue anyone romantically, but the fact that it seems hewould be able to have a degree of control over Hannah while nurturing her strengthwould certainly make her fit in his controlling views. However, I like to thinkher friends would try to help her once they realized Illumi is toxic to her.

Hisoka

House: Slytherin.Blood Status: Unknown (yeah, is anyone surprised?).

Hisoka wouldbasically show Hogwarts why perhaps they should consider having a counselor/psychologistfor the students… He wouldn’t go around challenging classmates to duels 24/7 orbe disturbing in the level of someone such as Illumi, but his interest in strongopponents would remain pretty much the same as well as his bloodlust, whichmight be even worse as he is still so young. Classmates would be unsure ofwhether or not to approach him (even during first year) and even how, as youcan never tell with Hisoka: Sometimes his good mood isn’t “normal student”happy because he got a good grade or any other reason, but because he secretlykicked someone’s ass. Of course, due to several reasons, he would hide some ofhis worst traits (or at least how deep they go) a lot more than he doesoriginally, but he would still creep some people out quite a bit.

Just like inthe Hunter Universe, Hisoka would be a lone wolf and remain an enigma throughoutall of his years in Hogwarts: No one knows where he came from, about his parents,how he could know several spells before ever coming to Hogwarts… And that’sjust how Hisoka likes it, as his past remains something he just doesn’t talkabout.

Classmates couldalso at times see him training physical fighting in the school grounds. While thesnobbish groups would sneer at the idea of “muggle wresting”, they would stillbe “somewhat” impressed by his flexibility and agility, especially if they hadthe chance to see Hisoka dueling, ashe uses those moves while casting spells, making him a hard target, having anew style that is entirely his own. Even at his first year, he would beconsidered especially talented, but even the teachers would be unsure if thisis a good or bad thing, despite Hisoka acting polite and respectful towardsthem (secretly wondering if he would get to duel them someday). His gradeswould also be quite good, even with subjects he seems to not care much for.

While Hisoka wouldn’tmind social interaction, people shouldn’t be to quick to consider themselves hisfriends but few realize this since, like I mentioned, Hisoka would hide hismore sociopathic traits more while in school. Towards his teenage years hewould also have a few “flings” (there would be quite some people interested inhim, especially after the weekend Hisoka pretty much walked to the lake, tossedhis shirt aside and just went for a swim in front of half of the school).

Not one to acceptbeing constricted, he wouldn’t have issues with interacting with students fromthe other Houses as well and, to be honest, it could be quite peaceful (or asclose to it as we can get with this clown). Regarding some other students ofSlytherin and their belief in blood purity or the rivalry with Gryffindor,well, Hisoka wouldn’t want anything to do with that from day one. If someonestarted talking about it, he would give them a bored, cold glare and say thisis easily the most moronic thing he ever heard in his entire life. Of coursethe purists in his House would be angered by this and try to either pressureHisoka or downright demand him to follow the “House rules”, which they wouldcome to regret quite soon, even if they are older. You want a rule? Hisoka hasone for you: Don’t you ever try tomake him do something he doesn’t want. Not if you want to keep the bones ofyour hand intact.

Yes, Hisoka wouldn’thave issues with “demonstrating” how strength has nothing to do with blood status,after all�� Blood looks all the same when painting the walls, doesn’t it? Thiswould make some of his House mates fear him while others, like Draco Malfoy,would hate him and believe him to be a blood traitor (or muggleborn), however ifthey acted upon it, it would endbadly for them, since Hisoka’s reactions would be… Well, pretty muchfrightening. And you should know how Hisoka is someone you wouldn’t want hating you (Hell, this goes for all theAdult Trio and we know it). Those who agree that those questions are just nonsensewould actually be cheering Hisoka on from the inside and might feel more confidentto express their opinion, so hey, maybe something good can come out of this?

However, don’tthink this means Hisoka would ever be part of a group that goes around provingthose points. Yes, blood purity is stupid. Yes, this feud between the twoHouses is boring. This doesn’t mean he will try to make other people see thisor take a stand against it, either: Hedoesn’t care.

There is somechance he would get along fairly well with the Weasley twins (again, not quitea friendship, but…), even taking partin some of their pranks and often buying their products.

Possible Love Interests:

° LunaLovegood: Poor girl… She would catch his attention without even trying, and not so much due to the strangeaccessories she likes but due to the things she says and not in a negative way,either. Hisoka doesn’t like boring people and Luna is far from it in hisopinion. If anything, her open mind and theories would spark his interest andhe would enjoy talking with her. Luna might also be among the people who cansense how deep Hisoka’s distortion goes and her occasional comments about histrue nature would often impress him, as well as that particular strength sheseems to have.

This couldremain a mere “friendship” or become deeper in nature, to the point Hisokawould be seriously interested in her and not as a mere affair. And while hedoesn’t care for people, Luna would be the exception to this particular rule.

° Sirius Black:This could end up either as a serious relationship or indeed something born onlyout of sexual interest and nothing more. There is something about Sirius’behavior in his teen that might attract Hisoka’s attention, such as Sirius’wits and confidence (and well, both can be quite show-offs at times). Hisoka isnot shy in displaying interest and wouldn’t be so during his teens. Not havinga care for rules or problems, it’s also likely he would enjoy joining theMarauders in some of their mischief. He wouldn’t be a part of the group, but wouldfind them pleasant enough for occasional company. Like I mentioned, whateverhappened between him and Sirius might be solely physical, sex and nothing more,or it might become an actual relationship.

° NymphadoraTonks: Being a Metamorphmagus would certainly arouse Hisoka’s interest, due tobeing such a rare thing to come across. It would be the first thing that wouldmake Hisoka pay attention to her. Her style might be taken as “different” or “weird”for other wizards (pink or purple hair), but Hisoka would actually find itrather attractive (namely, hot as hell) exactly because it’s her own (unlikesome who might use the Metamorph ability to become unbelievable attractive, Tonksuse it as she likes it, rather than to fit the societal norm).

As she notesin the book, her Head of House said she “lacked the ability to behave”. We see Tonksis full of life and good humor, traits Hisoka would definitely enjoy. This isn’tto say a relationship would work well or even happen (well, same can be saidfor all of the relationships of this post) due to Hisoka’s bloodlust.

° HermioneGranger: An unsure case, that may be just a fling or become something more… It wouldbe one of the cases when it seems the couple has nothing in common with eachother and how the hell did that happen to begin with?

Well, atfirst Hisoka would have zero interestin Hermione, deeming her a boring girl who can only follow the rules and recitetextbooks. Not his type. Hermione would also consider him as far from her typeas possible. Sure, he doesn’t go around calling her names or bullying her likeother Slytherins, but she knows he is far from being a “good guy”.

However, Hisokamight start to tease her from time to time, just to be a pest (especially whenhe is bored), though it wouldn’t ever get to the point of bullying. They wouldquickly develop a certain comfort zone with each other. Hisoka’s teasing wouldgo on, as if to make her unwind a little (and probably become a little moreflirtatious later on) and Hermione, while certainly often aggravated by him,would find that she doesn’t mind it so much… It would be quite strange for bothof them and for several reasons, but it might happen.

Chrollo

House: Ravenclaw. Controlled with his emotions, Chrollo hasa quick mind and a desire for knowledge that would make him fit in right away. Somehouse-mates may compete with him for grades, but Chrollo shows no interest insuch.Blood Status: Muggleborn or Half-blood. Hard to say, since he doesn’ttalk about his life outside of Hogwarts, but being from Meteor City, it’s veryunlikely that he is a Pureblood. And the people who know for sure don’t talkabout it with others.

We can’t saythat the Adult Trio would be better in Hogwarts or cause no problems andChrollo is no exception, even if he may seem better adjusted than Hisoka or Illumi,but this is an act and nothing more. He would be considered the perfect candidatefor Head Boy by the teachers: Well behaved, polite, incredibly intelligent… Butthose who have sharp instincts may feel something off about him, that hints to his actual nature as, in fact, he wouldbe pretty much just like he is in the Hunter Universe regardless of a youngerage: A person who has no qualms about killing others to achieve what he wantsand who cares for no one who is not part of his inner circle of friends (andGod have mercy if you hurt any of them in anyway). However, just like Chrollocould fool Neon, he would be able to fool everyone in Hogwarts.

Coming fromMeteor City, it’s also likely that he had to grow up too fast, so the teacherswho are aware of the city’s conditions may try to approach him wanting to offerany comfort or help that might be necessary, but Chrollo would act as if he isa well-adjusted child (only accepting said help if it seems they would find itstrange if he refused too much). In a way, Hogwarts would be somewhat of atraining ground, as the first thing he would do once graduating would beofficially forming the Genei Ryodan. He wouldn’t be learning just the academic subjects,but observing people, listening about politics, expanding the knowledge hewould later employ (and even testing some of it already).

As Imentioned, Chrollo (as well as his goals) would remain pretty much the same. Now,while Hogwarts may be a certain oasis for its students, it wouldn’t ever become a “home” for Chrollo, evenif he would like it there (it canbecome a place of high emotional value even after he leaves), the knowledge,the possibilities it offers and he would have days he just enjoys a more normallife, no doubt, but his only home will always be the Meteor City. Still, it’snot easy to say if he wouldn’t ever steal something from there with the Spidersdue to the memories/respect for the place (though if some item such as thePhilosopher’s Stone was currently beingkept there, then you can believe they would as the stone is not part of the school).

Even at ayoung age, Chrollo would be quite a prodigy and if we take a crossover whereNen doesn’t exist, you can believe that the Skill Hunter would, in one shape or another: Chrollo would be talented enough tobe able to create his own spells, a few of them quite complicated actually, sohe might find a way to absorb one’s magical talents in an at least similar way.Of course, no one would have any idea of this, even when he started to make “tests”right in the school grounds, testing the extent of what he can do.

While he wouldbe well mannered and those who fancy him (male and female) would be enough forChrollo to be considered “popular”, people wouldn’t be able to get as close tohim as they think, just like in the Hunter universe. Chrollo would deceivethose he wants to come close enough to try some spell, curse or try the SkillHunter on as he perfects it, but there would very few emotional attachments inhis school life. Some students who would go around claiming to be his friends wouldnot be considered the same by Chrollo, as the only exception would be those whoalso came from Meteor City, perhaps those who would later on become part of theSpider, if they happen to be attending Hogwarts as well. He might considerrecruiting others as well when they graduate, depending on their power even ifthey are not from the same city. It should be noted that they would seem likeany other group of close friends (contrary to the students who became DeathEaters, as some of them already used Dark Magic in school) rather than future murderers.

About thequestion of Death Eaters, while Voldemort might at least consider recruitingthe Spiders (or at least the most powerful, such as Chrollo) despite the possibility of their blood status (as theyare certainly a worthy addition to his side), he wouldn’t be able to find them morethan others in the Hunter Universe and the Spiders would have no more interestin taking part in the war than the Zoldycks, unless the Meteor City started tosuffer because of it, in which case they would return there and kill whateverDeath Eater (and perhaps even members of the Order) in a clear warning thatthey should leave the city out ofthis mess.

Chrollo mayface some prejudice and bullying if it became known he came from Meteor Cityand also because, again, of his possible blood status by people like Draco Malfoy,for example. Chrollo would have some pretty poisonous responses to taunts thatwould be said in the calmest tone ever… And of course, if some ill fate were tobefall a person who annoyed him a bit too much… Well, it’s not like anyone can ever prove anything.

Possible Love Interests:

° HermioneGranger: There are several reasons why Hermione would catch Chrollo’s attentionand the fact she is so intelligent is not the only one. He might approach herafter crossing paths so often in the library, in a tentative way as he is stillmerely curious about her. His interest wouldn’t be romantic from the get-go, sinceat first Chrollo would just be content to find someone who enjoys reading and sharesa similar thirst for knowledge.

Over time,their interactions would increase and not be limited to the latest book theyread or what they think about a particular spell, with Chrollo starting to paymore attention to her and becoming a friend she can turn to when she fightswith Ron or Harry (Chrollo would certainly spend several hours with her in the thirdyear when both stopped talking to her for a while). However, in those times,Chrollo would subtly try to shift her attention to himself, wanting to separateher from the others. He would try keeping this as innocent as possible, sincehe would know at once that trying to turn Hermione against her friends wouldbackfire pretty badly.

In the end, regardlessof how things turn out, she may be one of the very few people that won’t becomepart of the Spiders (having, you know, morals) that Chrollo can stand.

° Harry Potter:Chrollo would have the same normal curiosity that many of the wizarding world sharesregarding Harry due to him surviving the Avada curse (and whether or not thismeans he has a possible rare skill Chrollo can steal), approaching Harry withoutacting as a fan or assuming to know anything about him. While he would be justas friendly as he is with everyone else, he would be basically evaluating Harryin several ways, including as a person.

Harry’spersonality, determination and the trouble “adventures” he gets intowould make him interesting in Chrollo’s eyes in a more personal way, regardlessif he seems to not possess any special skill that Chrollo would want to steal.Being quite good at reading people, Chrollo would be able to find a few thingsabout Harry (such as his situation with the Dursleys) without even talkingabout it. He might even consider recruiting Harry as a Spider, since he hasseveral qualities that would make him a good member… And maybe a part ofChrollo thinks about this because he wants to keep Harry close…

Eventually,they would develop a sort of camaraderie between them, which can become a seriousrelationship. If he happens to be older than Harry, Chrollo would definitely presenthimself as “the aloof and cool older student” that Harry can count on.
