Howdy. Fun fact about me, I like to make Google Docs dedicated to any OCs I create for games. It helps me keep track of their values, interests, and basically anything that contributes to the rp. But also so I can have one place for their visuals. I am not particularly talented at drawing, mostly finding enjoyment in lil doodles and sketches. Because of this, I turn to picrews to better visualize my characters. Here's some I made of my Grey Warden Mage Adalia Amell!

This is Adalia before she becomes a Grey Warden. Ngl, I totally forgot to clothe her and felt too lazy to go back and design her again just to put her in a purple robe. I also imagine her needing glasses to read, but since she doesn't wear them all the time I left them out. But she has dimples! Two of them (I only have one, lowkey jealous)! And freckles (a common trait I like to add to OCs whenever I get the chance because I also have them, they're just too light to notice unless you're right near my face in good lighting lol)! She's pasty because she never goes outside due to living in a Circle.

This is Adalia by the end of DAO. Some battle scars from Drakes. She definitely has a huge bite mark on the back of her thigh where one of them tried to take a chunk off of her. Also, I know the process of becoming a Grey Warden doesn't technically leave any visible change, but I wanted there to be something subtle. If you notice her eyes, they look a lil faded and have a ring of red around the pupil. The fade is because people infected by the taint (or ig just Hespith) get these grey eyes that look like they can't see very clearly. The red is so that there's something more identifiable when you look closely, something that looks off, to show what makes Grey Wardens different from others.

Recently found out the artist did this little smooching picrew and I saw an opportunity to make a cute Alistair x Amell moment. She totally is the one who initiates most of the physical intimacy. If you haven't noticed by now, Adalia has a ton of piercings. Since all mages had to wear the same robes every single day, I liked the idea that they found other ways to express individuality. She has a collection of dried roses.

I've talked about him a lot on my old account before so here's some lore drop: in october I started seeing this guy outside of traditional relations, and we sorts mutually agreed on not being serious (aka him saying that he is not looking to be in a relationship with anyone, and me just nodding). This is the guy that knows about my disordered e4t1ng habits and has told me that he's usually into b1gg3r, curvier women and that he'd never thought that he'd be into doing certain things w "someone like me".

He's also the same guy that invited me to his family's house for a holiday party where we hung out and I literally played with his nieces and nephews??!? He also bought me two huge cases of macarons (AKA MY BIGGEST TRIGGER) for christmas and even bought me a smaller pack like a month prior in an attempt to "make me feel better".

Y'all I'm kind of feeling weird because I'm like, lowkey not an exclusive person— like I'm still sorta talking to other people but not in the way that he does fr. He calls various people his "friends" when he has hooked up with them and even saw some of them up until mid November (?), and that's a huge ick for me ngl. Like I don't see him as a "friend", definitely a situationship that's trying to be my friend and change me in order to get what he wants (he's told me on many occasions that he's a selfish person and that he loves it whenever someone he's with is going through something bad because they actually need him and run back to him), and even though I've told him many times that I'm going to do what I want and that I am going to be the person that I want to be— he's still so fucking butthurt when I don't do or say things (because it makes me feel disgusting) that makes him feel good. I'm ngl, I do force myself to do some things because I'm also desperate for attention so yeah I think in some way I'm helping feed that.

that being said, I definitely foresee that he does want something more solid with me, and in any other situation I would be so giddy and happy to but I know he wouldn't have my best interest in mind. He wants me to be someone that I'm not, he wants me to be someone that I would never want to be. I'm pretty vocal with what I want for myself and he knows that I will never back down, so we'll see. I genuinely really do like him as a person, I think he's genuinely a kind hearted and empathetic person, but (HE ADMITTED IT TOO) he's a selfish sad bastard (mood). buwomp sound effect.

^ If you're not on the other hand he'll just at out say he has a girlfriend/boyfriend/partner/(whatever you identify as/want to be called).

He does treat his partner like royalty

He does have nicknames for his s/o as well, some including: "My treasure", "My jewel", "Love", "Honey", and of course some Cantonese names (your pick on those ones/any other names)

Will absolutely compliment his s/o in Cantonese, mainly when he's sleepy tbh but occasionally he's not and is just in a lovey dovey mood. Either way more times than not his s/o can tell what he's saying from him being so close and occasionally nuzzling them

Ok here's some stuff that really only involved me as a person (but who knows maybe some of y'all relate to this stuff too, if so feel free to add yourself in these)

Ok i personally have naturally curly hair, of course leading me to use products that are FOR curly hair specifically. Long story short he accidentally used those products for his straight hair and it became unusually fluffy/poofy

^ He was confused af and I was too until I realized he used my shampoo and conditioner

He actually loves the fact that i have tattoos. Though he found out by accident when we first started dating, and i forgot to mention them

^ let's just say he was freaking out why a part of my thigh was green (i was wearing ripped jeans that let the tattoo kinda peek through for context. Oh and my tattoo on my thigh is colored for double context) until i had to explain

^^ he instantly started asking me questions about what it was like/how it heals/ext. since he doesn't have any tattoos.

I'm an artist (traditional and digital), he loves just hugging me from behind (his hands usually resting on my stomach or hips/thighs) and cuddling with his head on my shoulder just watching me do whatever i was doing

^ he does the same thing if I'm playing video games. If it's a two player game we'll still sit like that, he's just holding a controller now. He regularly has to look at the controller to see what button to push

I can see Dragon hating haunted house because he's jumpy af when scared. Me on the other hand (also jumpy when genuinely scared but not to his extent) will make jokes going around/talk casually with the actors. Yeah I dragged him to a haunted house for a date night. We both had fun but he was CLINGING onto me the whole time through.

^ I happened to choose the specific haunt i worked in (which he didn't know until afterwards... Shockingly despite the owner coming out, greeting me casually, and letting us in themself) of course the actors knows I am (many calling me "Banshee" and mainly addressing to me... To Dragon's confusion) and starts following us, I was telling them to come along for the ride... Dragon on the other hand was OUT and RUNNING while taking me with him, telling me to stop letting them follow us, and me laughing from amusement.

^^ Don't get me wrong they did get me two but i tend to laugh after being scared, i bounce back to amusement as fast as i get scared

There was absolutely some cultural differences between both of us, of course he's from China and I'm from the middle of nowhere in the US

^ of course we learn from each other's cultures from each other.

Did he know i knew how to use chopsticks, nope. Am i a pro at it? Absolutely not nor am I gonna pretend that I am, i struggle a lot actually, but i know how to use them... kinda. But the slightly surprised look on his face seeing me already know how to use them (kinda, clearly a beginner but still) was funny.

Ahhhh this episode had me like this the whole time, so cute. Rain is truly too adorably for words no wonder phayu is so taken him. He does just want to make you treat him like a little pet.

But if this dream actually happens in the book...oh what I wouldn't give to read it.
