Friday Prompt!

Antonio babysitting baby Luciano with his other kids for one night. Afonso is coming to get him the next morning.

"Please take care of my little Lulu" says Afonso while pinching the boy's cheeks, making him giggle "I don't want to come back to any missing hair string from his head."

"Don't worry, He will be fine!"

"I'm serious Antonio." He says in a lower tone "I know exactly how many hair strings is in his head."

"okay..."

After creeping out Antonio he leaves the young Luciano at his door. The Spanish raises his arms and beams "So, are you ready to spend the day with your coolest tio?"

"Yes!" Luciano jumps excitedly "Is tio Francis here?"

"uh...no. But there's me!"

"oh, cool!"

Antonio takes him to meet his kids. The group where being taken care by an older boy (Peru), they stopped playing when the new kid appeared.

"hijos, this is Luciano." Antonio caresses his hair "he will stay with us until tomorrow. Be nice with him."

Antonio leaves to let them to get to know each other better. Neither the kids or Luciano speak, both curious towards each other.

Luciano fidges. In his childish mind he thinks about the perfect thing to say to make a good impression

"I saw an anaconda eat a calf once."

Some gasp, some make disgusted sound. Luciano feels his cheeks burn, that didn't went well.

Peru was kind enough to help him feel at home, sharing snacks and asking things to get to know him better. Luciano was more relaxed and even started to play with a duo of sisters (Colombia and Venezuela).

A blond boy pulls his shirt. He looked as older as him, and a little chubbier. He had his arms crossed and raises an eyebrow at him.

"How big was the snake?"

"uh?"

"Mi hermano is asking how big was the snake."

"oh, where he is?"

The boy points at a boy, he had curly hair and was hiding "he liked your story and asked me to ask you. I think it's a lie."

"It's not! What is his name?"

"Daniel."

Luciano sprints towards Daniel. Whose face goes red when the boy smiles and grabs his hand

"It was huge! Wanna hear about it?"

Daniel nods and smiles a little. Luciano tells all the details of his encounter with the snake while the boy listened with full attention.

I can completely understand why, Portugal is really attached to Macau on a personal level even though they live so far apart.

You can see the chapter when Hong Kong was young (his hair was still long back then) is gathered around and played with China. I am not saying the time Hong Kong lived away from China was short, but it is true that part of his childhood was spent with China.

But with Macau, he spent almost all his childhood and teenage years with Portugal. Even in the chapter where he was very young (not yet wearing glasses and still little), he was already a family member of the house of Portugal.

An interesting point is that we have never seen Macau with long hair even when he was so young, even though at that time Chinese men were supposed to have long hair. This further proves that Macau has been with Portugal for a long time, so he was able to cut his hair short.

They have gone through many years of history together, Macau is a very good listener and it is clear that Portugal has shown many sides of himself to Macau.

Portugal has been through a lot of bad things and he is an extremely wise man. It is not easy for him to meet someone close both politically and personally, which is why the intimacy and gentleness of Macau's personality make Portugal so soft-hearted.
