hi, i kinda consider you like...the lore-keeper of motogp, you just seem to know basically everything, so i ask: do you know where/when vale mentioned that he'd be around a lot more this season?

Alfred had been acting strangely nice towards him. During the meeting he always agreed with Afonso`s point, made sure everyone was quiet while he spoke, even got him some coffee during the interval.

The older man wasn't buying it, he sees the American again outside the building when going for a smoking break. Alfred was playing in his nintendo DS.

"Hey, thanks for giving me support back there" Says Afonso.

"Yeah whatever" comes the cold answer.

"Tired of playing pretend kiddo?" Afonso snorts.

Alfred pauses his game and corners him "Listen here you Captain Ahab looking ass bitch, I'm only doing all that because Arthur had kicked straight to the couch for the way i was treating you. And Luciano doesn't have much trouble convincing his amigos to gang on me on my own socials. So yeah, i will pamper you but remember this: I don`t like you!"

Afonso stared at the young man. "I appreciate the courtesy, Alfred. Just so I know where we stand, is this antagonism just because I'm married to Arthur?"

"Isn't that enough?" Alfred frowned.

"I guess. I understand you want Arthur to put you first, which he already does by the way. But Arthur has other important relationships too. Francis, Kiko even Antonio. Why are you singling me out? God knows I have reasons to be hated, but I was never cruel to you. Never caused you any problems or harm. That's why I want to know."

The young American stared at him with a confused and conflicted expression. "I just don't like you, that's all. It should be enough reason."

Afonso put down his cigarette in the trash. "I see... Some people are just incompatible I guess. It's a shame though. I remember you from when you were little. You were a cute kid. I wanted you to like me."

With that, Afonso went back inside.
