Zoë Nightshade: "An animal sanctuary is under threat from deforestation. Hunters of Artemis, assemble!!"
Reyna de la Fuerza: "I'm in."
Celyn Glynn: "Me as well."
Thalia Chase: "Thank God!! I was standing still for, like, 5 minutes and it was awful. Lets do this."
Reyna de la Fuerza: "Already working on a plan."
Josephine-x-Hemithea Sanders (it's Jo's surname which Emmie took upon them getting married to each other): "I changed my mind. I'm out."
Rosebay Fytó (a dryáda whose plant form is Nerium oleander): "What?"
Hemithea-x-Josephine Sanders: *hugging Georgina and each other* "Sorry..."
Edessa Waterfalls (a naïáda whose water form is the Edessa Waterfalls): "Do I have to go?"
Bianca di Angelo: "Yes!!"
Phoebe Iliofáneia: "Who do I get to fight?"
Zoë Nightshade: "Wait, why do you get to be the leader?"
Thalia Chase: "Because I am the leader."
Phoebe Iliofáneia: "Can I fight you?"
Thalia Chase: "We're on the same team. Where's Hippolytus?"
Hippolytus Toxótis: "I got lost. Are everyone else there?"
Naomi Levi: "I work alone."
Bianca di Angelo: "Have you ever tried talking to the mortal humans? You know, maybe they just need to feel heard."
Rosebay Fytó: "So, after this fight, does anyone want to go to Taco Bell?"
Hunter Kowalski: "Ooh, that sounds great!!"
Hemithea Sanders: "That's not gonna be necessary, because I already made sandwiches."
Bianca di Angelo: "I forgot to ask. Are we getting paid for this?"
Phoebe Iliofáneia: "You all couldn't handle me."
Zoë Nightshade: "I should be the leader."
Thalia Chase: "Well, you're not. What's the plan?"
Reyna de la Fuerza: "I worked out a 14-page branching decision tree for our offensive strategy."
Thalia Chase: "That's... a lot."
Josephine Sanders: "How's my suit look?"
Hemithea Sanders: "Looking good from here." *clicks mouth flirtatiously*
Thalia Chase: "All right, lets go!!"
Reyna de la Fuerza: "I got the culprit."
Zoë Nightshade & Thalia Chase: "What??!!"
Reyna de la Fuerza: "Yeah, you were taking too long and I wanted to fight. You wanna fight about it?"
Bianca di Angelo: "...So, Taco Bell?"
Beatrice Hortensius (biological daughter of a demigod and a dryáda): "Yes!!"
Hemithea Sanders: "I made sandwiches!!"

Stab My Heart; Take My Pain Away(Chapter 2 Part 1)
Hanji Zoë doesn't really care about what others think of her.
Hanji lived with her parents in a huge estate. Their house was a mansion. Their lands were large enough to fit a herd of animals. It was no question that the Zoë family were one rich lot.
When she was old enough to make decisions for herself, she decided to disobey her father's orders which is to never enter his study whenever a meeting between adults would occur. So, that's what led to her knowing that her father isn't as good as she thought he was.
A lying, selfish and a scumbag father. That's what her opinion of him already is. She hated her father.
He used his 'power' to manipulate other people lower than him along with the other adults he allied himself with.
Before her mother died, she would always talk to her and ask for advice. However, when her mother passed away, she had no one to confide in. There were a few housekeepers in the house, though and some even brought children about her age.
At first, she thought it was a new opportunity to socialize and have friends. Real friends.
But she was different. She liked reading books that are in the library. She is pretty careless, too.
On one occasion, she found a dead lizard in her room. She was giddy and excited. Because of reading too much books about dissecting, she decided to do the same to the lifeless animal.
She remembered calling her 'friends' to join her in the new 'game' she wanted to perform. Her unsuspecting friends were shocked as soon as she let them see the lizard.
When she cut open its stomach, however, her friends' reaction drastically changed from shocked to scared. They ran away screaming for their mothers.
Later on, Hanji was scolded by her own father. She never got scolded before. She was a really obedient child. Before her mother died, that is.
Hanji loathed her father even more. It wasn't her fault why she was like this. Perhaps it was just her nature. She didn't want to blame the others for thinking of her like some kind of witch or something—they just won't understand.
The number of their housekeepers lessened each month. Hanji found herself getting more and more lonely. She got used to the housekeepers faces and presence that she never imagined staying in a home where she could see no one at all.
When she was about 15 years old, she made a decision she would never regret. She ran away.
Hanji never cared what her father would think of her once she did it. The female wanted a life where she will become free. A life where her father's orders will never be heeded ever again.
For some reason, her surname got her into a prestigious school where she decided she wanted to become what the books she had read had taught her to become.
A scientist.
Hanji is normally home-schooled but now what she entered high school, she found out that there was more to science than what she thought.
She never got to socialize. She placed all of her attention to studying and making sure she graduated with a smile on her face. Hanji - for the first time in a lifetime - wanted to achieve something on her own.
At last, her dreams came true.
The female got her job. She worked in a company that was more than happy to take her in because of her skills. She had enough money to live in an apartment. She got along with her room mate, Nanaba. She got a caring assistant Moblit.
What she didn't know, however, is that someone else will be entering her life soon.
_______
A few hours earlier, Hanji was sprawled on the floor. Her body was tangled up in the covers. Her brown hair was tousled and drool dripped from the corner of her mouth.
Besides all that, Hanji got the best sleep she had in a long while.
Her phone rang. Twice. Thrice.
BAM!
Hanji awoke immediately, rubbing her eyes and staggering towards her desk where her phone lay ringing.
Upon closer inspection, she realized that it was Moblit. A smile lightened up her face. One of the closest people she had is her own assistant, Moblit Berner.
"Mornin' to you, too, Moblit!" she greeted him. "Why so early?"
"Miss Hanji!" came the frantic voice of her assistant on the other line. "You've got work today, can't you remember? A-And the cure you're working on is drastically improving! You have to come to the lab quick, Miss Hanji!"
Those words were enough to get her hyped up. Quickly, she muttered a 'bye' and ended the call.
In another split second, the scientist changed her clothes without even taking a bath. A few months ago, Hanji didn't find it necessary to bathe since her work always comes first. Besides, after every week of hard work, she showers. The brunette thought it was enough.
______
"Crap. Ouch!" Hanji whined, touching her forehead. "What the hell happened?!"
She vaguely recalled what happened the last few minutes. She was guessing she hit her head pretty hard.
Hanji suddenly heard a man's groan. Her eyes snapped open in surprise.
"Who the hell are you?!" Hanji cried, springing up in a flash. Unfortunately, she felt a little dizzy so she had to lean against something—there was nothing to lean on so she toppled over.
Levi controlled himself before he even had the chance to stab the scientist straight in the heart. He wasn't entirely used to his targets getting too close. Usually, when that happens he kills them directly.
'No,' his subconsciousness argued when he considered that decision. 'Erwin told you to observe now, didn't he? And the location is too open. If you killed someone, others will surely see. You'll blow your cover."
He blinked, momentarily disoriented. Did he really just get bumped by his own target?
He heard a thud followed by another whining a few minutes after the weight lifted off his body. He didn't hear what the female was saying, though. Levi is far too engrossed in his thoughts.
When he regained his vision back, he sat up. He caught a sight of Hanji laying unconscious on the ground. Without knowing, Levi smirked.
'Hard target, eh?' he thought. 'Judging by her state, she'll be killed in no time.'
Levi went over to the fainted female. Her ponytail became even more messier, her clothing is wrinkled and her scent reminded him of an animal that didn't bath for about a week!
He didn't anticipate her next move, though. The assassin began to nudge her with his foot when she bolted awake.
"Sorry! Sorry! So sorry!" Hanji sat up then pushed herself by those long arms of hers. "I'm really sorry!"
Next thing he knew, she jerked open the car which was just next to his own. Hanji jumped inside and drove in an insane speed.
Levi grunted. He really didn't predict such an outrageous human being would knock him down on the filthy ground even by accident.
