It all started as a simple poke, then another, and another. Earning the sweetest squeaks from the dark haired teen. Yuta folded over himself, lightly batting at your mischievous fingers.

“What’s up with you-” he cut off his own question when he saw the look on your face. Your eyes darting all over the room, a noticeable blush on those cheeks, and head ducked down. He knew that look very well. Still, that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to tease you a bit first. “Is there something you want?”

“I uhh…” You stumbled over your words, fiddling with your fingers. Your inside voice was practically screaming over how mean Yuta could be at times. He knows what you want, you know that he knows, and he knows that you know that he knows.

Seeing your hesitance, Yuta came up to you, gently cupping your chin and tilting your head up to meet his eyes. A teasing smirk spreading across his lips at the sight of your deepening blush. “C’mon, birthday bean. I know you’re capable of using your words. Go on~”

With a gulp, you spoke in a small voice “C-can you tickle me…?”

Somehow, the special grade sorcerer managed to hear your mumbled reply. His teasy expression was replaced by a warmer and kinder smile. “Of course, dear. Anything for the birthday bean~”

He suddenly wrapped his arms around you, trapping you in a bear hug. His fingers tracing soft patterns up and down your back, sometimes straying a bit too close to your sides.

“Eep- Eheheheh!” you couldn’t help the small titters that started to bubble out of your mouth. Allowing yourself this moment of vulnerability for your birthday. Yuta could be as teasy as he could be kind. The switch in his actions always sends butterflies to your stomach. You leaned further into him, a snort of laughter being heard when he started to delicately scratch between your shoulder blades. Also making sure to flutter his fingers against your neck.

Whenever you looked at Yuta, you would be met with the sweetest most loving smile known to man. His eyes screaming how much he loved you, and the way he touched you so gently, so lovingly, showed how much he cared for you. He wanted nothing but to make you happy on your special day.

After a few moments of scratching at your tickle spots, he eventually slowed down until fully stopping. In one swift movement, he carried you bridal style over to the couch. Earning a flustered complaint from you, not that you actually minded though.

“Wait just a moment, I have a surprise for you” You quirk up a brow, watching as he disappears into the kitchen before reappearing, holding something behind his back.

“Tada!~ I made it myself, I hope you like it…"Now it was Yuta’s turn to look all shy. He held out to you a birthday milkshake of your favorite flavor. You could feel your heart squeeze in your chest at the thoughtfulness put behind it.

“Thank you, Yuta” you said softly, taking the milkshake in such a delicate manner, as if it were a piece of fine art. You gave the first sip, eyes widening at how good it tasted. “This is amazing! Thank you so much!”

You leaned against him once he settled next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders to hold you all comfortably and snug, his thumb gently rubbing at your arm. “I’m glad you liked it. I needed a bit of help from the others before I got it right…” he admitted sheepishly, a pink blush spreading across his cheeks.

You let out a laugh of endearment, how could someone be so cute?!

You both remained snuggled up, with you enjoying your milkshake and basking in Yuta’s warmth. “Happy birthday, dear” he whispered lovingly into your reddened ear. What a nice way to celebrate your birthday with the loving touch and care from the one you love most.
