the julius redraw of my beloved patrick led to julius becoming my other beloved. they're both so.....😍*chef's kiss* 💋could you please write a scenario about these two pretty boy psychos meeting each other for the first time? thank you❤️

Awe thank you so much, I'm glad you love Julius! I put so much work into him and I'm working on soooo many projects about him 👀 As for the scenario, I apologize but I really don't have time and I don't write fanfiction involving my own characters (I created Julius, to be clear; he's my character 😭) BUT I can tell you my silly HCs of if somehow their different universes collided and they met!

Given Patrick's personality and knowing Julius' like the back of my hand, unfortunately I do not see any sort of friendship ever forming between the two. Neither of the men are prone to form a genuine bond with anyone. Now, I can confirm that there are a few exceptions for Julius but it's very, very, very few. As for Patrick, it's up to one's interpretation of if he can/does form a true bond, I personally interpret him to be similar to Julius: no, with extremely rare exceptions.

While I do not see a genuine bond being able to form between the two, I absolutely do see them both as having a mutually beneficial fake-friendship. They're both east coast, coked up, sex addicted, rich white men who lead double/multiple lives and are deceptive as all hell. They both are also very obsessive over image, appearance and social status/perception. Now what I absolutely do believe would happen is Patrick forming an obsessive infatuation but intense jealousy towards Julius due to multiple reasons.

I'll explain:

Julius was born in a working class family during the Victorian era who immigrated to America and became a mainly self made multi-billionaire (being married to the Boss of the Boston Irish Mob brings in a lot of money on top of his own very successful business). Patrick on the other hand, despite being born into wealth still doesn't hold a candle to Julius' riches. Patrick may own a Manhattan penthouse but Julius could buy the entire building if he wanted to, and without batting an eye at the price tag given the multi-millions that roll in weekly for him.

That brings me to another reason: sheer status and power. Julius is so elite that brand names mean nothing to him and he sees brand names as something for the poor. Julius owns a very popular, top of the line, extremely expensive dress shop and boutique. Everything is hand made by him (he doesn't even use sewing machines), one of a kind and the man is talented. His shop is so revered you need an appointment just to get in and people will save up for years and fly across the country, even across the ocean to get a dress. (Of course, only the lucky actually leave the shop....) Basically, Julius' wealth and god like status (he can literally have anything he wants, whenever he wants and gets endless attention) is something Patrick would, though be very jealous of, lead Patrick to suck up to Julius. Our boy Patrick would set his homophobia aside in a second if it meant being seen going into Doherty's Dress Shop without needing an appointment.

Julius would look down on Patrick. He would find him annoying and pathetic. However Julius loves attention and loves people sucking up to him (and loves cocaine-murder buddies) so he probably wouldn't kill Patrick as long as Patrick played his cards right and didn't challenge him. I see Julius using Patrick as a verbal punching bag and forcing him to smuggle drugs and traffic humans and other shit, and probably also just make him do degrading things like "I'll let you enter my store wherever you want if you suck my boot until you jizz in your pants hahahaha nasty bitch" just for shits and giggles. And Patrick probably would because oh that sweet sweet sweet status.

Julius also would make fun of Patrick for being 'short and fat'. Patrick is said to be 6'0 and 190lbs whereas Julius, who is anorexic, stands at 6'5 (in the human leather boots he always wears, he's 6'2 without them) and horrific mere 135lbs (please seek help if you struggle with eating, you deserve it/gen). I think they would both feed into each other's body issues and obsession with perfection.

It would be interesting to see them meet, I must admit that lol.

growing up on the set of a beloved family sitcom wasn’t a typical childhood, but it’s one becca is quite fond of considering the track record of child starlets and how they feel about their pasts. if you asked becca now, in private, she might say she wishes she had a time machine to go back to when she’d be eating sandwiches with her co-stars on set and doing the homework her private tutor had laid out for her between takes.

*( pls note i claimed both full house / boy meets world and that’s because becca’s show/history stretches from age 5 to her teen years, the timeline didn’t really add up but use ur imagination pls i did the best i could.. )

she grows up in front of a camera and absolutely loves it. acting is where she’s meant to be, even if it’s sitcom material. it’s good for her age, lighthearted, and she has surprisingly supportive people around her. she works maybe more than a kid should, but she finds that’s her default preference, and sitting alone for too long makes her restless. the show itself has quite the cult following and the diehard fans accumulate over the years. by the time becca is in her teens and social media is booming, her and her co-star are thrust into the spotlight. it’s all sweet, fun and games, becca now having a platform to get familiar with the fans she loves so much. the show’s success not only makes up her childhood, but the childhood of so many others, and something about that becomes irreplaceable to her.

however, all good things must come to an end. when she’s going on seventeen, the show is finally cancelled, the last episode finally giving viewers what they wanted: a happy ending for becca’s character and her co-star’s, the ship that had been over a decade in the making. cameras cut, lights off, and suddenly the team that was once so supportive of her is nowhere to be seen.

becca is desperate not to fall out. 

they tell her there’s not much room for her in the acting world, that having such a household name under her belt means people won’t associate her with anything else, and her team convinces her to give up on acting entirely. becca is crushed, but understands ( sort of ), and even if acting is where her heart is, she listens to ‘ what’s best for her ’.

thus, her pop career starts. it’s the formula for every washed up childstar, but becca is determined to make things work. she might not have the best pipes in the business or the most refined writing skills, but she has heart, and she will do anything she sets her mind to, anything it takes to be seen as good. so she puts triple the hours in the dance studio, recording studio, practices writing songs every day, does her scales until it finally clicks. her fans take to her well enough and becca doesn’t disappear long enough to be forgotten about. instead, she re-emerges as BECCA, all caps for her stage name, and re-invents herself to keep her claws in hollywood.

still, the rising fame in the cutthroat industry, especially as a teenage girl, is quite terrible. suddenly she goes from the beloved sweetheart of everyone’s favorite sitcom to a real popstar, someone that dates, someone that goes out, someone that’s seen in the spotlight. and as much as she’s praised, she’s scrutinized. for someone that takes criticism hard, it’s her biggest challenge yet.

rather than succumbing to the trainwreck trope, becca does the opposite. she keeps doing her yoga, rarely if ever drinks in public, always has a smile on, dates in private, dodges all potential scandals to keep the focus on her music and off her personal life. and so far, it’s working, but for someone that’s singing pop music written by everyone else instead of acting in front of a camera, how long can she keep it up?

𝕡 𝕖 𝕣 𝕤 𝕠 𝕟 𝕒 𝕝 𝕚 𝕥 𝕪 ,

at her core, becca is a kind, loyal and just person. she cares deeply for other people and finds it hard to cope with the immense pressure and materialism of the industry she works in at times. she hopes one day to return to acting, but growing up surrounded by opinions older and bigger than hers, she’s quite used to doing what she’s told.

she has a hard time trusting herself with choosing what’s good for her. instead, she listens to the opinions of others. she puts a lot of weight on it, and can come across as spineless. an industry puppet. she’s on stage dancing and singing, but her heart is somewhere else. still, it doesn’t stop her from putting everything else she has into it.

even when it’s something she doesn’t particularly want, becca is nothing but grateful. she works until she sweats and until she has blisters. she is nothing if not persistent. everything is done graciously, because becca doesn’t do much, if anything, out of spite.

at times it can all come crashing in on her, though. for someone that cares a lot about what people think, having ten million people look your way constantly can be overwhelming. she’s naturally introverted and leans on this during these times. lots of time at home with her cats, watching films, baking, hiding away from the world.

becca doesn’t date or party in public because she’s so intensely afraid of scandal or judgement. that doesn’t stop her from going out, but she’s more likely to hold the purses and help get someone home than she is to dance on a table. still, she avoids judging anyone herself. she worries for everyone else, and only wants to see the people around her succeed.

good influence. perhaps another pop singer that helps her out, works as a confidante, someone she asks tips of and helps her get into something she’s not fully adjusted to yet. ‘don’t play that venue, it sucks’ typa friend.

ride or die. someone that’s known her since her good ol’ tv days and has stuck by her. someone she tells all her secrets to, someone that she confides in with her secret of not really wanting to do music at all. basically, they’d tell each other everything and keep it under lock and key.

enemies. maybe a rival? it could be new, perhaps an award show slip up, or an old enemy from her tv days. it could be a two-way street, purely online beef, or some mutual dislike through the grapevine.

her personal mess. someone that’s messy as hell that becca takes care of. she gets them home after a wild night, or comes in to do damage control before any paps get a view of what’s happening. she helps protect them and their image.

friends turned sour. despite her kind nature, becca can easily be accused of living a lie or being inauthentic. someone that was once her friend but can’t stand her inability to tell people no, or do what she really wants. 

jump off the trainwreck. since she’s so obsessed with her image, perhaps she could have an enemy that was someone she abandoned after a scandal? the ‘i can’t associate with you’ type thing because it brings headlines, and they aren’t fond that she lets the media get in the way of their relationship. could be a platonic one or a romantic one.

behind closed doors. someone she’s seeing but refuses to tell anyone about because she’s afraid what people will think, or doesn’t want to be scrutinized for it. the other muse could either agree, or be frustrated with their situation.

shout out to my ex. maybe they dated and either they write a song about becca that goes viral or vice versa. names may not be named, but there’s tons of speculation by fans and there’s definitely some tension / drama about who and what it’s fully about, but maybe only they know!

and of course, any exes, hookups, casual friends, etc. are up for grabs !

In which Zilla talks about Shiro, her stupid passions, and her fears for the upcoming season(s).

Let me first preface this all by saying I am fully and openly admitting to my status as a huge, HUGE Shiro Stan, and as such I understand that while I might be trying to be as objective as possible, I do come from a standpoint of being very passionate about Shiro’s character, and admitting that bias is important. I also want to emphasis that everything that follows is my own personal opinion alone, and I do not expect others to necessarily agree or disagree, but know that this is just me talking about My Feelies and not me trying to push my opinions onto anyone else.

If you’ve followed me for long enough, you’ll know that Shiro is my absolute favorite character in VLD. So much so that he’s really my sole reason for being so obsessed with this series, so invested am I in his story, his character, and his interactions with his team. The team and ALL the characters as a whole are incredible, and while I absolutely appreciate the story and writing for each personality, Shiro is MY favorite and always the parts I look forward to the most.

That being said, I am once again dreading what’s going to happen to him in the upcoming season(s). From what Barlee said about S6 being extremely divisive (see her twitter @barleedraws), my old fear of them potentially killing off my most favorite character once again has bubbled up to the surface. Project Kuron has been taking a terribly long time to build up and pay off, and I’m honestly really quite tired and anxious to see the REAL SHIRO once again. He arguably has been missing from the series since the climax of S2, and only until that One Scene in S5 when he calls out faintly to Lance in Voltron’s astral grid do we see a glimpse of OUR Shiro since his disappearance from the cockpit of the Black Lion.

I am genuinely terrified that they’re going to kill him off, or somehow remove him from the Team. I’m terrified that they will take the Black Lion away from him. I’m terrified they’ll sideline him, and plop him into another role with less significance and meaning for his character. I’m terrified they will continue to harm him, as time and time again it’s been shown that he’s a bit of Dreamworks’ Paladin Pinata – the one character who is constantly, repeatedly, put through the wringer with no breaks whatsoever. He is the ONE Paladin we have absolutely no backstory about other than he was in the Garrison. We don’t know anything about his family, or who he was before the Garrison and his capture by the Galra, and we know nothing about his time WITH the Galra during the ‘Champion’ year. Every other Paladin at least has had some sort of mention or glimpse of family, except Shiro. He’s like a ghost. And he has not caught a break since. He went from being a tortured Galran prisoner to a lab rat experiment, to being harmed repeatedly by Haggar, to being forced into an Astral Plane fight with Zarkon, to being torn from his Lion at the end of S2, and now here we are again, with him being some sort of compromised sleeper agent/clone/android thing. He is quite literally the one character they’ve put through the wringer the most and hasn’t caught a single break.

This is devastating not just from the sheer amount of rollercoaster turmoil he’s been through, but because Shiro is just a really kind-hearted guy who wants nothing but the best for his team. He’s always been Team First, Self Last. He’s traumatized and suffering internally, he’s flawed and imperfect, but does his best to hold it together for his Space Fam because this Found Family gives him hope and meaning in a very painful life.

His bond with the Black Lion is probably my most favorite ‘relationship’ in Voltron. I would argue that nobody fought harder for their Lion than Shiro, who had to fight Zarkon for its soul in the Astral Plane and nearly died trying to earn its Trust the Right Way. He spent 2 whole seasons fighting for that Lion, for its trust, for its bond, for its connection – never through force, but through a mutual understanding of each other. Two whole seasons. Only to have all that hard work ripped away from him at the end of S2, after he won back the Black Bayard and unlocked those incredible Wings. He would have given his life for that Lion, and to see it all get taken away was devastating to me.

And now, with Project Kuron going the way it is, I won’t be surprised if the penultimate climax of it all is Keith being forced to fight Shiro and ultimately taking control of the Black Lion. While I understand that this is wonderful for Keith fans (and especially fans of the original versions of Voltron which ALL star Keith as the Black Paladin), for someone who came into VLD fresh and watched Shiro go through 2 whole seasons of pain for that Lion, the idea of the Black Lion being taken away from him and given to another is heart-breaking to me. Team Voltron, leading his team mates, earning the Trust of the Black Lion – these are all things that give his beleaguered life meaning, and to see him stripped of that is just devastating. Shiro is bonded to that Lion after all his hard work, and I sincerely feel that taking it all away from him is a massive disservice to his character and to all the fans who’ve watched him grow together with it.

Please understand that this is also not a dig at Keith. As mentioned before, Keith has historically ALWAYS been the pilot of the Black Lion, so it is very likely this is the way the story will go considering the history of the series and how Shiro had been grooming him for the role since the beginning. This is heart-breaking to me, a Shiro fan, but from a series’ history standpoint, it is a very likely possibility. I was always saddened by the whole Lion swap because despite it being a nostalgic nod to the original series, VLD is its own show now, and having spent 2 whole Seasons 1+2 emphasizing how important the Bond is between Lion and Paladin, to see that all get swept aside in favor of realigning the lions to their original pilot lineup for nostalgia’s sake was really disheartening. Lance bonded with Blue IMMEDIATELY and they were practically more friends than Paladin/Lion. He was a natural. And Keith... Keith earned Red’s trust when he showed him he would fight for him, and Red is the only Lion I recall ever seeing go after its Paladin without the Paladin’s impetus. When Keith was facing the Trials of Marmora, Red could sense him, and went for him. He rescued him from floating away forever in Space with Allura as well. Red KNOWS Keith. And Shiro and Black, well you know how I feel about their relationship. Each of these Lions chose their Paladin, and with how much emphasis was put on the whole Spiritual Bond between Lion and Paladin, seeing the Lions swap pilots so quickly at the beginning of S3 was really poor for me. It still doesn’t feel right to me, seeing everyone in swapped Lions. I don’t think it ever will.

That being said, yes, I am TERRIFIED of Shiro being stripped of the Black Lion and being demoted to a lesser role and eventually sidelined from his beloved Team. I’m terrified, once again, that they will kill him off. I’m terrified of seeing my favorite character be destroyed in one way or another, as that would likely end the show for me. I ADORE this show, but I openly admit I really am in it for Shiro and his adventures with his Team, and if he is removed or torn away, my enjoyment of this series will lessen greatly, if not completely. I know others with intense love for their favorites would understand, even if they wouldn’t admit to it.

.... I really honestly could go on and on and on, but I will cut it off here for the sake of not torturing you all with my Deep Shiro Conspiracy Theories. I really just had to get this off my chest as I’ve had it bottled up since I saw Barlee’s tweet about S6 being a wringer for fans. I’m a grown ass woman who loves a cartoon man so much that she’s been thinking of this day and night, and it’s pretty embarassing, but if there’s any place I can be myself, it’s here. So to those of you who’ve made it this far, thank you for that :)

I also want to emphasize something else. No matter what happens... whether Shiro has a wonderful fate or a terrible one... at the end of the day, I fully accept that this is NOT MY STORY. I hold no ill will towards the showrunners, the writers or any of the VLD staff whatsoever. They have a story to tell, they have jobs to do, and if this is the story they write, this is the story they write. They owe nothing to me or anyone else because it is not my story. Their vision is their own, and I’m sure fans will be divided no matter what, considering how divided they are when times are ‘good’! But at the end of the day I fully respect everyone’s hard work in creating this incredible series, even if it ends up not being for me any longer if Shiro is gone.

I also want say that, again, this is entirely my personal opinion, and it one coming from the viewpoint of a massive Shiro Stan. I don’t expect others to agree with me, and I fully appreciate that folks who prefer other characters will disagree completely. This is just me, needing to get something off my chest, as immature as it may sound. I thought I was long past the era of allowing cartoon characters to affect me this deeply, but I guess some of us just never grow up :)

Post-Moonless predictions— Ritsu and Nagisa (9/10)

for the last week or so, i’ve been talking about a large theory i’ve been writing. since finishing it, i’ve decided to publish it in parts, since it’s actually about 10 different theories all on one subject. since it’s all written out, i’ll try to be publishing one part of this per day.

essentially, this is a set of theories about what i believe will have to happen in order to properly lead up to a climax–the one we’ve been building up to for years and years now. so, these are what i theorize will happen after the first moonless vs beloved battle, broken up into ten different parts. each theory is explained and theres images for each one.

moonless and beloved will rematch (1)

soubi will fall into a deep depression and possibly become suicidal (2)

ritsuka will arrive at seven voices, SM’s activity will be revealed (3)

SM will reveal that there was a mole in their organization (4)

kio will be the one to take ritsuka to goura (5)

ritsuka will find things out about soubi and the aoyagi family (6)

SM’s true purpose will be revealed. ritsuka will have to make a decision about good vs evil (7)

seventh SM member will be revealed (8)

nagisa will find out what really happened to sanae (9)

ritsuka will be asked to join SM to fill the aoyagi seat (10)

Theory: nagisa will find out what actually happened to sanae and it will trigger a chain reaction that will leave ritsu disabled and completely alone in the world. 

while i said that ritsuka’s storyline with SM will be tied up, there’s still storylines within SM and between the council members that needs to be cleared up. one of the biggest ones is the relationship and bad blood between ritsu and nagisa.

i often seen ritsu and nagisa’s relationship being portrayed very badly and incorrectly. nagisa is absolutely not head-over-heels in love with ritsu. she is using ritsu as a replacement for something she once lost, something that when she lost it, it left her feeling very alone, empty, and abandoned. nagisa even tells natsuo this, stating that she does not love ritsu, but they’re mutually using each other, and she’s doing it so she can feel less empty and alone inside. nagisa even goes on to say that she hates ritsu partially for his part in losing the thing that meant everything to her, and i dont really think this is nagisa being dramatic.

(i dont know what you think a loving relationship is, even one-sided, but it’s not this.)

nagisa and ritsu’s relationship is not a healthy one. it will never be a healthy one. theyre both using each other. nagisa knows and admits this. one side is a narcissist who’s been horribly obsessed with a woman for the past 25 years and the other side is a woman who has never been able to let go of a death and has gone as far as human experimentation to try to fix the void that she feels. their relationship is shown to be horrible, even if it’s played mostly for comedy, with ritsu purposefully hurting nagisa to get a rise out of her and nagisa being thrown into a violent, screaming rage around him.

(mostly played for laughs, but actually kind of concerning when you think about it.)

even during the scene where nagisa discovers ritsu’s injury, she has a complete breakdown in which she screams about being terrified of being left alone again and begs ritsu and natsuo and youji to not leave her.

nagisa is still deeply affected by death. it seems to affect everything she does. she even created a child in the image of her deceased sister to ease the pain and then tried to throw him away when it didn’t work.

in the chapters showing nagisa and sanae’s life before sanae’s death, nagisa is very focused on sanae. it does seem to be a healthy sibling relationship, unlike that of the aoyagi brothers, even if nagisa is a bit overprotective. nagisa states that sanae was the center of her universe. i dont know what the sagan sisters’ home lives were like when they were kids, but if nagisa was treated anything like how she treats natsuo and youji, then it wasn’t good and it would make sense why she was hurting so badly afterwards.

and then, sanae died, and nagisa blamed a lot of people. she blamed akio for strange reasons and by extension her son, soubi, and she blamed ritsu to a lesser degree. i have no doubt that she also blamed (blames) herself, as well, and is slightly projecting that hate onto other people.

(nagisa very often splits on people and goes from idolizing them to hating them and back and forth. she also has extremely unregulated emotions. more on that in a different post about mental health.)

from the way sanae died, it’s very heavily implied to be a suspicious death. she cant swim, but she also drowned in knee-deep water and seems to have been held under by something/someone. while others may not agree, i do strongly suspect that it was ritsu who drowned her.

nothing else really makes sense to me. no one else has a motive. nagisa didnt have a motive and neither did akio, who didnt seem to know who took her ring and doesn’t appear to have the personality of someone who would murder a child for it. nagisa loved her sister dearly and none of the other students seemed to have an issue with her, though they did know about her real personality. the only person who wanted to get rid of her was her sacrifice, ritsu, and as an adult, he is incredibly dismissive of her death. he was annoyed with her presence, didn’t seem to like her as a fighter, and she had made him irrationally angry by playing a (admittedly harsh) prank on someone he fell in love with. furthermore, she seemed to have dropped the ring by accident when he yelled at her and didn’t appear to have purposefully lost it. even if he didn’t kill her, he logically knew that she couldn’t swim, as the sagan sisters and he were childhood friends, and willingly walked away from her while she was in water. regardless, he does seem to be keeping secrets about her death and everything surrounding it is incredibly suspicious. 

nagisa and ritsu have a very unhealthy, turbulent relationship as is, and i dont see anything fixing this. nagisa holds onto ritsu because hes the only connection she has left to her dead sister and ritsu holds onto nagisa because he has a need to control everything and everyone around him, and nagisa is easy to control. they both enable and hurt each other, and even if ritsu wasnt the one to drown her, i heavily suspect that ritsu is keeping secrets about sanae’s death from her.

the turning point in their relationship will be when nagisa finds out these secrets, whether he did murder sanae or if there was just something extra he wasn’t telling her. personally, i think this will be the only way that nagisa realizes that ritsu is horrible to her and for her and that hes not filling the void that sanae left behind. it’ll cause another breakdown in her, but the anger at him keeping an important thing from her for the past 20+ years will finally cause her to break things off with him and distance herself. maybe she’ll realize that she has a better friend/relationship in seven and still has a chance at a social life. im unsure.

what’s important is that this will set off another chain reaction. her leaving ritsu alone will… essentially leave ritsu with no one. no matter what he does, soubi doesnt want anything to do with him and wont come back (not that he can anyways, since timeline-wise at this point he’s still with seimei). he doesnt appear to have any family. he doesnt seem to have any friends or drove them all away. and now nagisa, the only piece of control he had left, distances herself from him. while i dont believe ritsu will change or anything, he will be left alone, blind and no longer in control of anyone or anything, and he might finally get what he deserves through this.

furthermore, though, this will further cause the breakdown of the council with one member having kept secrets from another member for over twenty years. ritsu will struggle for control back, which will cause further dysfunction, and nagisa will stop wanting to have anything to do with him, and may even avoid him. thats two members out of seven (six, really) who won’t want anything to do with each other, one of which will be desperately struggling for power.

what i’m saying here is that i’m pretty sure at this point, the council is doomed to completely fall apart, and there’s really only one thing that will properly fix it, or even has the possibility to.
