I loved the first episode. The comedy sound effects are a bit much but I can deal with that.

I love how Won is prickly but not a complete ass. He doesn’t let Sang Sik take the blame for the photocopier. And when Sang Sik is about to be fired, he hires him. Considering they are still working together and he seems to have become Won’s only friend that’s worked out okay for them. Of course Won has personal trauma and family issues but it wouldn’t be a kdrama without that.

I love Sa Rang, who also has some problems they’ve just hinted at (mainly not letting her true feelings out, but I think there will be more). I love her friends. Laughing at them “clubbing” to Baby Shark at the indoor play ground while the daughter is mortified.

The amount of second hand embarrassment I felt when watching their second meeting. I think I would die if that happened to me.

I really hope it holds up to the end but so far it’s promising

I've been a trainee at the cinema for a week now.

Pros: relaxed workplace, nice coworkers, POPCORN by the fuckload, sparse amount of tasks, days start at noon, 3-day work week, workplace is situated a short walk from my house, comfortable work wear, occasional free movie viewing and staff discount on the snacks

Cons: customer service, bye-bye weekends :(, I likely can't go visit family (including my recently widowed grandma) up north for Yule this year because the coming weeks are some of the busiest days for the cinema and by the time I get my next schedule the train tickets will already be very pricey

Also I told my coworkers I need to learn Finnish but we keep slipping into the trap of speaking English instead because it's the path of least resistance hee hee hoo whoops
