can we have the demon bros with an mc who's a horrible cook? (not solomon level bad though, but still pretty funky tasting.) however! they are capable of improving with practice. i'm a pretty bad cook myself so i have my eyes on this one 👁👄👁️
MC is a Terrible Cook!
(Feat. GN!MC and the Demon Bros)
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦
Lucifer
When Lucifer introduced you to the house's dinner-making rotation schedule, he expected that you might have a little bit of trouble. After all, you're now having to come up with a meal to serve the entire family once a week.
But what he didn't expect was for you to serve poison for dinner.
Maybe you were trying to appeal to the palates of demons? But although they eat strange things, that didn't mean they'd enjoy.... whatever it is you've put on the plate.
Lucifer also thought it might've been a fluke, until you REPEATEDLY offended their taste buds with the random concoctions you created in the kitchen. And you do so with such earnest that he can't bring himself to ask you to stay away from the oven at all costs-
"I've realized that asking you to adjust to an entirely new world of cuisine is a bit harsh of me, so I've decided to enroll you in RAD's cooking class. I think you'll find it useful, and... I look forward to eating what you make. Do your best."
Mammon
Mammon can't brag about being a five star chef or anything. Hell, he's tried serving cup noodles for dinner repeatedly. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know what tastes good, and your food? Yeah uh.... this ain't it, chief.
When you ask him to sample a new dish you've tried making, Mammon's filled with giddy pride. You're asking HIM to try it out, and not his brothers! That's his human! ✨
But now he sort of wishes you'd have asked someone else. What are you, Solomon?? Or maybe human food is just like that???? Well... it ain't as bad as Sol's, but it's still funky!
It takes everything for his dramatic ass not to spit out the mouthful of food right then and there. He can't when you look so hopeful-! Damn it, stop making your eyes sparkle so much!!!
"....Th-that's a pretty interestin' flavor ya got there, MC. Real uh.... unique! But if ya REALLY wanna make food that The Great Mammon likes, I'll just have to start teachin' ya! I ain't takin' no for an answer!"
Levi
It took a long while for Levi to actually taste your cooking, considering he spent most of his days in his room eating whatever he smuggled in. But one day, your cooking had the chance to change his life forever...
All he wanted was to recreate some TSL recipes with you! It should've been simple! It was only a cursed goat sandwich with cheese, and you were in charge of the tartare sauce!
Yet somehow... you've created something so foul, Levi is sure you've made a curse instead.... It emanates a darkness that rivals that of the Lord of Corruption himself-!!!
Okay, that's a biiiit of a stretch. But why is it so??bitter??? Uh... he probably should've asked if you could cook in the first place. Maybe a little practice wouldn't hurt, but how can he say that to your face??
"Th-that looks great, MC! But um... hey, why don't we do this every weekend? You know, trying to cook together? I can look up recipes so we can improve together! Ahaha..."
Satan
Satan is pretty bright, so it didn't take him long to realize he should start eating before dinner when it's your days to cook. Don't get him wrong, he's all for new experiences, but your food leaves much to be desired.
But he's not so cruel that he'd keep letting you get away with making food like that, so he tries helping you in the kitchen. That upgrades your cooking to something tolerable, at least?
Hey... wouldn't it be funny if you snuck your food into Lucifer's meal every night? Satan's sure he'd make a great face! Ooh, or maybe you should start preparing his coffee every morning?? Somehow, you even manage to make drinks taste completely unique!
Okay, maybe he shouldn't use you like that. How about you take advantage of his collection of cookbooks instead? He wouldn't mind if it means you'll come to his room more often.
"Why don't you pack Lucifer's lunch for tomorrow? I'm sure he'd appreciate it if you surprised him with a special meal of your choosing. And afterward, you and I could start prepping for dinner together. I'll show you the recipe I found for us. I think you'll like it."
Asmo
Asmodeus isn't one to hold his tongue, so the first time he tried your cooking... well.... We could say he's pretty conditioned to eating terrible things thanks to Solomon, so yours was somewhat okay!
But seriously, there's no way he can let his sweet little MC get away with such atrocities! He's GOT to help you out ASAP!
Asmo loves all things trendy and he's always staying on top of the new and popular foods, so he suggests making them with you! Every time something's trending on Devilgram, he'll make it with you! And he'll get some great pictures for his social, too!
It's a little tedious and he's not a fan of hard work, so there are days when he outright suggests going out for lunch instead. Teaching someone to cook is tiring, you know?
"Hm? O-oh, that's right. I'm still on my diet, so I probably can't eat whatever you're making. I know I know, a shame isn't it? As much as I'd love to, I just can't! But I'll gladly eat you instead, MC~! ❤️"
Beel
.................This should be illegal.
There's no way food can taste like this, right? It's got to be cursed. Or maybe you're playing a prank on him. Between you and Solomon, Beel has decided he won't even touch human world food with a 70 foot pole.
That being said, he loves you so he'll teach you how to make Devildom food instead. You can't mess up something if he's there to help you, right? Because Beel's starting to become wary of you when you enter the kitchen, and it's not good for his health...
Lucifer doesn't mind that though, since it keeps him out of the fridge in the middle of the night. The groceries have stayed in their places for three weeks straight! ✨
"You want to make a meal from home? Um.... I think Belphie's allergic to that, so why don't we make his favorite instead? I'll teach you, so let's go shopping. And we can get a snack on the way back, too."
Belphie
Belphie spends so much time sleeping, there are times he'll even eat in his sleep! It's a feat to behold. And we all know how it's nearly impossible to wake him up from his slumber...
Yet the first time he had your food, it was enough to make his eyes open. He had to make sure it was food he was eating, and not some kind of mystery slop Mammon put in front of him as a prank.
Wait, you made this...? Is Beel okay???? He's been eating this all this time?!?!!
Belphie doesn't like troublesome things like trying to teach you how to cook, but there's no way he'll let you abuse his brother any longer. He'll do his best... And besides, it's kind of cute watching you struggle cook.
"Hey, you know that's the sugar you're holding, and not salt? If we were cooking for Lucifer I'd let you go through with it, but I have to eat this, too. Here, let's just do it together, okay? I want you to learn well so you can make my favorite meals."

fem!Miya!reader x Ginjima Hitoshi & Akagi Michinari || part of the Third Miya series
Synopsis: It’s just a courage test. Just a nightly walk through a labyrinth of statues. Even the moon refuses to peek out from behind to clouds to witness your stupidity. Oh, did I mention there've been ghosts sighting here? There've been ghost sightings here.
Warnings: cursing, some spooky atmosphere, spooky things happen, some prime examples of sibling love
wc: 2.3k
a/n: should I post this chapter after the one establishing Reader's friendship with the team? Yeah, probably. also what I could do is write a little author's note that Reader is a friend with all the boys on the team and move on from there, ya know?
In case you missed previous chapters, Twins call their sister San, while others simply refer to her as Miya. (I'm experimenting and trying to use y/n as little as possible. lemme know if you like it).
if you wanna be tagged in future chapters lemme know and as always feedback is greatly appreciated!
Nothing scared you.
Well, except Mr-No-Gaps Kita Shinsuke but you're pretty sure there isn't a being on this planet that wouldn't be afraid of him so that disqualifies him from this particular competition; or mom that one time she discovered nobody had taken the trash out even though she said to do it several times. And the dark sometimes. And ghosts! Ghosts are spooky. You can't punch a ghost
But other than that nothing scared you.
This nightly walk though is making you reconsider the statement. Maybe the time has come for you to put 'dark' and 'weird noises whose origin you can't see' to the top of the list. Shivers run up your spine and you step faster, closer to Ginjima beside you. He gives you a questioning glance but luckily doesn't say anything. You hope he won't mention it later either. The only thing worse than your brothers finding out what a scaredy cat you're being right now is... Well, nothing would be worse than that.
The Gallery Tangle is what this place is called and you find the name strangely fitting. Stone statues, some crumbling and all overgrown with moss, stand lined by the path going in twists and turns. No matter where you turn cold unseeing eyes watch you. If you were the one choosing the name for this place it would be something along the lines of 'that corner nobody in their right mind would ever go close too'. Some people believe it used to be a cemetery but really it's just a meadow where someone left an unwanted statue once, and then another, and before you knew crowds of curious tourists and stupid teenagers visited the place all the time. Even the moon refuses to peek out from behind to clouds to witness your stupidity. Oh, did I mention there've been ghosts sighting here? There've been ghost sightings here.
So naturally it's the perfect place for a courage test. The only one at fault for this entire situation is Osamu for daring Akagi and Ginjima to go visit the site, and you for falling for his trap when he turned to you and, with that annoyingly sweet voice pretending he's a caring older brother who's just looking out for his little sister, said: “Thank the heaven yer too much of a baby to go out of the house after sunset.“
Yeah well, maybe you are and he knows it, and he also knows the easiest way to get you to do something is to tell you you don't have the guts. It's all a well tested trap you keep falling into. Walking amongst countless silent statues you want to ponder how the mice traps are always so obvious and yet the mice keep falling for them like dummies, but that would be a silly thought to have in the middle of the night and taking your current circumstances into consideration also incredibly hypocritical.
Nothing much scared you, except for Kita Shinsuke, but if you were given a chance to get help from one person right now you'd chose him. As much as the mere thought of him makes you straighten up and check if your clothes are on point you're sure ghosts and demons and other creatures of the night would rethink once or twice before coming closer to bother you. Not to be rude but he'd probably be a better ghost repellent than trembling Ginjima beside you who at the moment is being more of a ghost attractor. Can ghosts sense fear? Apparently even horses can smell fear so why would ghosts be any different? Maybe better for that question to go unanswered.
“Are ya sure we're goin' in the right direction?“ asks Gin.
“Maybe.“
“Akagi-san ya do know that's not the answer we wanna hear right now, right?“
“I'm yer senpai so I can't lie to ya,“ answers Akagi and you wish he wasn't your senpai so you could give him the well deserved kick in the shin. As Osamu would put it, getting a straight answer out of him was sometimes harder than eating udon noodles with only one chopstick. Your smart-ass replied with 'Just drink them', which was a funny response at the time, a justifiable enough reason for Osamu to slap your head, but in the end this solution didn't really apply to the libero. “We're takin' a little detour to avoid inhabitants of this place,“ Akagi says and if you didn't know him better you'd think his words were meant to reassure you.
“Ya mean the statues? I don't think they really mind us trespassin'.“
“Ah no, not the statues.“ He turns and points his torch up to light up his face. “I meant ghosts.“
“Ha ha, very funny,“ you say pretending a shiver didn't just run up your spine. Your hold on your own torch tightens.
“Skepticism doesn't suit ya Miya. There's a ghost of a little boy hidin' round here. Ever since his old house was demolished he walks around lookin' for his parents.“
“Sure he does,“ you answer and quickly change the topic because if Akagi doesn't stop you're sure Gin will climb in your arms and the question if you're strong enough to carry him is another one you don't want to know the answer to. “Where did Samu say he left the scarf?“
When Ginjima answers his voice is strangely high pitched: “By the statue of an old lady with a cat.“
Akagi nods. “We should split up so-“
“No!“ you and Ginjima half yell.
“We could get lost,“ you add, feeling heat rise on your cheeks.
“Exactly,“ Ginjima agrees, “look how many statues there are! It's a labyrinth 'round here!“
Akagi gives in without much convincing with a gleam in his eyes you really don't like because it looks suspiciously similar to the gleam Atsumu has before blackmailing you with one of too many embarrassing things he knows. “Right, right, last time I was here the cat lady was on the other end.“
“Was?“ Ginjima follows close behind and you're just glad to have you back covered.
“Statues move sometimes. Usually when no one is lookin'.“
“Funny,“ is all you say.
Still, as you continue the expedition you don't let your gaze wander around. It's not like you could see anything anyway. It's too dark! At least that's what you keep telling yourself. Anything could hide out there.
You shudder. Why did you think it was a good idea to leave without taking a hoodie? As if summer nights aren't chilly. Or maybe you just walked past a cold spot where ghosts linger. Now that sounds like something Akagi would tell you.
You're acutely aware of how close Ginjima is walking and you're glad he is. His shoulder bumping into yours every now and then and the sound of his steps are the last things keeping you from letting your imagination run free.
That's the thing about imagination. It makes the pile of unfolded clothes look like a child crawling out of the floor. It makes sitting stone statues seem to blink and turn their heads when you pass by.
When you nervously glance over at Ginjima you notice he's clenching his jaw so hard you start fearing for his teeth. He puts you at ease. As much as that is possible while walking in the dead of night around seemingly endless line of statues. If he was as carefree as Akagi you would, all your foolish pride be damned, most likely burst into tears right then and there.
The nearby bushes rustle and maybe it's just the wind, or a cat on a nightly adventure, or maybe it's something entirely different, but whatever it is lures you into making the mistake of looking over at the statues, where you catch a pale face with unblinking eyes behind long, black hair staring back at you. You scream. Jump, trip over a stone and end in Ginjima's arms, your ears ringing from the high pitched shriek you presume is his.
Akagi jumps too and points his torch around to see what made both of you finally lose the brave facade. He searches around the statues but there's nothing to be found. “It's gone now.“
“Ya sure?“
“What was it?“
“A white face and... black hair.“
“So, a ghost?“ asks Akagi and you nod, holding tightly on Gin as if your life depended on it. A sly smile spreads across Akagi's face. “See, I told ya there's ghosts.“
“Not helpin' ,“ says Gin as Akagi's words make you shudder.
Only then does it hit you Ginjima is holding you bridal style and you swiftly climb back down, still shaken and now completely embarrassed as well. You don't even dare think how much bribing will take to convince Akagi to keep his mouth shut about this. Oh, if your brothers find out they will never let you live it down.
“Maybe we should go home,“ suggests Ginjima still holding you up because your knees turned to pudding.
“Like hell we are,“ you sneer, the blood rush turning fear into burning determination. If this is what it takes to shut Samu's annoying shit mouth, then so be it. “Cat lady, right? I bet she's this way.“ You pick up your torch light and head into the wrong direction.
“Miya, we have to go right,“ Akagi calls after you.
“I am goin' right!“
“The other right.“
You turn on your heels and head into the 'other right' direction. You think you hear Akagi snicker. Step by step your sudden burst of determination and fearlessness drains but like hell are you going to show it. It's just ghosts and spooky demons and maybe some cursed children, what are they going to do? Scare you? Joke's on them, you're already scared! And cold, and embarrassed, and you just want to find that damn scarf already and go home.
It waits neatly wrapped around the cat's neck. It's eyes have an almost mocking look. As if the stone is judging you for taking on this courage test in the first place. Well, you think, it ain't wrong.
“There, now we can go,“ you proclaim when your trembling fingers finally manage to unknot the silky fabric, and as if some cruel fate or inhabitants of this eerie place watched you only a few statues away something rustles.
All three of you freeze and listen. In the distance you can hear cars driving by. A late night train stops by the station.
“What was that?“ asks Gin.
You stuff the scarf into your pocket. “Doesn't matter, we got what we-“
“Let's go check it out!“
“O hell no,“ is the first thing that leaves your mouth but for some reason Akagi thinks it's a sunny Sunday afternoon and the perfect time for a stroll.
“Let's go,“ Gin nudges you to get you to follow Akagi but you don't budge.
“No.“
“He's our senpai Miya, we can't just let him wander off.“ He lowers his voice. “He might get in trouble.“
“Let him. I've had enough of this place,“ you say and head into the opposite direction. Ginjima hesitates, casts a few lost glances between you and Akagi before he decides the prospect of something happening to you would get him into much bigger trouble. “Are ya okay?“ he asks when he catches up.
You give a stiff nod. All you want is to get away from this place.
It doesn't take long for Akagi to come running back. “It was nothin',“ he says, out of breath and smiling as always but if you'd pay more attention you'd notice he's a bit paler.
And you are about to find out why.
A white figure appears from behind one of the statues, howling and shrieking, or maybe that's Akagi and Ginjima. Your heart stops for a mere moment before jumping into overdrive. You grip your torch, step back with one leg to gain momentum, and chuck your only source of light into what you guess is ghosts head.
“Aargh!“ shrieks the ghost before it starts screaming its lungs out at you, “Are ya stupid?! Ya could've hurt me ya shithead!“ It pulls the sheet off to reveal a very irritated Atsumu rubbing his forehead where the torchlight hit him. “OW!“ he shrieks again when you kick his shin. You'd probably kick him again for good measure if another figure, this one clad in black and with an oni mask, didn't jump from behind the statues and scare you into leaping in the air. The figure laughs and avoids the kick aimed at it's knee. “Samu!“ you shriek. “This isn't funny!“
“It is a little,“ says Akagi and to his luck he's your senpai and standing out of your reach. At least Ginjima doesn't look amused by your utter embarrassment.
In an effort to regain some of your pride you pull out the scarf and chuck it into Osamu's face. “Here, yer kitchen cloth.“
“San don't speak about mom's clothes like that,“ teases Atsumu who at the stare you send him immediately takes a careful step back.
Osamu pinches your cheeks and not even a death glare stops his teasing: “Maybe ya ain't such a baby after all. But ya do scream like one.“
“Absolutely hilarious,“ you deadpan. “Who was the white faced lady? Suna?“
“What white face?“
“Don't play with me ya shit pig. The one that almost gave Gin a heart attack!“
“Ya screamed louder than me-“
“That wasn't us,“ your brothers shake their head. You don't believe them because, why would you?
Akagi bursts into laughter. “Maybe ya saw a real ghost after all!“
A... a real... ghost. The rest of you exchange uncomfortable glances.
Gin is the first to speak. “It's gettin' a little chilly. Maybe we should,“ he gestures towards the path, and you nod, enthusiastically.
“It is gettin' late. We'll hear it if we come home past curfew,“ says Osamu.
Walking away you don't want to look back but something compels you to throw a quick glance over your shoulder. Wide unblinking eyes stare as you leave, face ghostly white and almost glowing in the dead of night.
Or maybe it's just your imagination.

vii - stargazing idiots
word count - 2,854
warnings - reader goes through what is caused by past trauma, mentions of death, mentions of murder
"Angels like you can't fly down hell with me. I'm everything they said I would be."
index
Right after All Might showed up, your body gave up on you and Tsuyu and Izuku had to help keep you up. Your eyelids felt heavier than ever and your head felt like it was going to burst. Your breathing is ragged and the last thing you see is Aizawa's bloodied body before darkness swallows you hole.
It's cold. So very cold.
You open your eyes only to be greeted by a never ending darkness. You feel like you're floating in water.
"Y/n." You hear his all too familiar voice. It's deep, if you could feel it it would feel like rubbing against sandpaper, it's also very cold and a sound that's void of any emotion.
"You did this to me." All of a sudden, Aizawa is standing in front of you, face bloodied and brusied, arms broken and turned to numerous directions. "Why are you so weak?!" He yells as tears begin streaming down your face.
You curl your body, placing your hand on your ears to try and block out your teacher's voice, but it's as if they're everywhere. They're around and inside you.
"I died because of you!" Aizawa yells, gis voice echoing inside your head. "The nomu didn't kill me, you did! You are a murderer! It's because you're so weak that I died!"
You scream, your body feeling immense pressure as hot tears stream down your face. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" You yell.
"You killed me. You can never be a hero. You are a murderer, you hear me! I murderer!" You open your eyes, your body shaking as you watch his hand about to grab you.
"I'm not a murderer!" You yell, your eyes opening to the sight of a white ceiling. "Y/n! Calm down! It's just a nightmare!" You hear his gruff voice beside you, it always managed to calm you down. As you turn your head to face him, Katsuki can't help but feel his heart break at the sight of your cheeks wet with tears and eyes red and puffy.
"Suki..." You sob, your body immediately being pulled into a warm hug as Katsuki whispers shushes into your ear. His hand strokes your hair as his arms tigten around you. "It's okay, just let it all out. Cry to me. I'm right here."
Your loud sobs and yelling fill the rooms, even alerting some of the nurses but Katsuki motions for them to leave you two alone.
Your heart feels like it's being crushed and it feel difficult to breathe. Despite this, you don't want Katsuki to let you go. You don't want his familiar warmth to leave your side, not now when you're feeling especially vulnerable.
When your sobs quiet down, Katsuki slowly pulls away, looking into your eyes. "Hey, hey, it's okay. I'm here." He shushes, wiping away your tears as his eyes analyze yours.
"You're okay. What made you cry out like that?" He asks, thumb caressing your cheek softly. You place a hand on his wrist, melting into his touch as you closed your eyes, letting your tears fall.
"Aizawa sensei... He... I killed-"
"We heard Y/n was yelling. What's wrong?!" Midnight barges in, making you immediately turn to her. Behind her she has Present Mic and someone else who's wrapped up in bandages.
Your eyes widen, "Aizawa... sensei..." You mutter, the bandaged-up person tilting his head to the side. "Yes? Are you okay, Y/n?"
Tears fill your eyes again, but this time, there's no longer weight on your shoulders or heart and it feels much easier to breathe. You start sobbing once again, Katsuki looking lost and confused as to what he's supposed to do.
"You're not dead!" You sob, "I thought I killed you- hic- because I was too weak!" You cry out, using your knuckles to wipe away your tears only for them to be replaced by new ones.
"I thought I became a murderer-hic-because I was too weak to protect you, and you died because of me!" You don't even notice Aizawa walking up to you. Despite his bandaged state and the casts he has on both arms, he pulls you into a slightly awkward hug. You wrap your arms around his torso, careful not to hurt him with it.
"Why are you carrying such a burden? Why do you have such thoughts, little girl?" Aizawa asks, his tone hurt. "I have these injuries because I chose to protect you, my students. If I ever get hurt, never, and I mean never blame yourself for it."
You bury your face onto his chest, tears rolling at his words. "Heroes go through stuff like these every time. We sacrifice ourselves to protect the weak and also to keep the peace. In your journey to becoming a hero, you will encounter many situations like these, some are even more worse. But just remember my words-" he pushes you softly, looking down at your swollen eyes. "-have courage, have faith on yourself and the people around you. Trust in them to prevail through just like how you will. Remember that we are all strong because we are heroes but that doesn't mean we have to carry all the burden by ourselves. Be good to yourself and let go if you need to. You're only sixteen, it's okay to act like a child sometimes."
You never thought you'd hear those words from your homeroom teacher who always seemed so indifferent, but at the end of the day, he truly does care about his students from the bottom of his heart.
"Good evening, visiting hours ended five minutes ago. Only miss L/n's guardian if allowed to stay with her." A nurse knocks on your open door, catching everyone's attention.
"I'll be her guardian-" Katsuki cuts off Midnight's words, "Not so fast. I'm her guardian."
"None of you are my guardians." You sigh, "It's been a tiring day and I just want you all to rest. Especially you guys, Aizawa sensei and Katsuki." You move to lay on your bed, but Katsuki raises you a questioning brow.
"What do you mean long day? You've been out for two days." Your eyes widen at his words. You turn to look at the teachers and they all giving knowing nods. "Wait- so does that mean-" You point at Katsuki who rolls his eyes, "Yes, dumbass. I've been watching over you this whole time." At the realization of his words, Katsuki turns away to hide his blush and yet again, fails to notice the red tips of his ears.
"Anyway, the doctors say that you'll be discharged tomorrow morning so you can-" You cut of Aizawa, "Finally go back to school!" You sigh, stretching your arms out and then letting out a sigh.
"I was going to say stay home and rest but if that's what you want then I won't stop you. Bakugou." Katsuki turns around, his face and ears no longer flushed and is back to it's natural scowling state. "I'm not sure how or why your parents allowed you to stay here at the hospital but I'm glad at least someone is taking care of her. There are many qualified pros scouting this area especially at night so you two can rest easy."
With one last nod, the teachers all walk away, bidding the two of you good night. The door closes and you reach over to take your phone from the bedside table, unlocking it. Your eyes widen at the sight of forty-seven missed calls from your mom and just as many number of unread text messages.
"Your mom was called by the school about your situation and assured her that you were alright, but I guess that didn't stop her from blowing up your phone." Katsuki says, eyes on the apple he's peeling.
"Sorry about that, I bet you didn't get enough sleep with all the calling." Your eyebrows knit together in cringe as you force out a smile to which Katsuki shakes his head at. "Your mom is probably the one who didn't get any sleep at all. You should call her and ensure to her that you're alright." He points the knife at your phone before returning back to peeling the apple.
You call your mother in facetime and it rings twice before she answers. "Y/n oh my god! Are you alright, baby?! No, don't answer that. I'm on my way there right now-"
"Mom, what do you mean on your way- here in Japan?" Your eyes scan her background, heart falling to your stkmach as you recognize the airport.
"Hold on! Stop, stop! Mom! You have work back there in the states, you can't come to Japan."
"But you're hurt-"
"Mom," You sigh, "Look, I'm sorry for worrying you. But I swear, I'm fine. Just a few bruises and scrapes but what's a hero without scars, am I right?"
Your mom looks like she stopped walking as she sends you a wordied expression to which you smile reassuringly at her. "I'm fine, mom. Don't worry about me. I'll be able to take care of myself."
"But who's taking care of you in the hospital? I'm going there right now and-"
"Mom, even if you did come here now, I'll be discharged by the time you get here. Plus-" you look at Katsuki who's busy slicing the apples into little slices, designing them to look like bunnies. "-Someone's already taking care of me here. I'll be fine."
Your mother sighs, defeated as you watch her turn around. "Just- stay safe okay? I don't have anyone else."
"I know, mom. I love you so much."
"I love you more, my baby girl."
The two of you pucker your lips for a kiss before ending the call. You lean your back onto your now inclined bed, looking down at the bunny slice Katsuki is offering you. He still has that glare in his eyes, but if you look into them even more, they're much more softer. You take the slice from his fingers, letting out a soft thank you before taking a bite.
"When you blamed yourself a while ago." He starts, making you flinch at the topic. "Don't do that again."
"Suki-"
He slams the knife onto the table, "Please. It's not your fault. Even the strongest people have weaknesses. Don't put all the weight on yourself, please."
Your eyes widen at how vulnerable his voice sounds right now. You reach over, placing a hand on his soft hair. You smile softly, "Alright. I'm sorry I did that. I promise to rely on you more."
Katsuki looks up at you, eyes glassy and face flushing. "I never said you needed to rely on m-"
"I wanna look at the stars." You cut him off quickly, hopping off your bed to saunter towards the window. You push the glass window open, leaning in and taking a deep breath of the cold night air, smiling. You look up at the stars, wishing you had access to the rooftop since the view would be better up there.
"You know, we are at the twenty fifth floor of the hospital." Katsuki says, folding the fluffy blanket that you didn't even realize you were using. You don't think it's yours given that you've never seen it before. Was it Katsuki's?
"What are you saying?" You ask, letting him put on a sweater on you. Again, this piece of warm clothing wasn't yours as well. But by the sweet caramel scent it gave off, you come to a conclusion that this belonged to the angry blond gremlin who is currently standing on the window why the hell is he standing on the window?!
"Bakugou! Are you crazy?! Get off the window now!" You yell, pulling at his pants. "Oh stop being a square." He pushes the warm blanket on you, pulling you with him off the window and out of the hospital room. Before you let out a scream, he uses his quirk to push you two upwards, his hand gripping your sides tightly as your feet land on the cemented rooftop of the hospital.
At the notice of you no longer in the doorstep of death, you resort to hitting Katsuki's arm, letting your mouth run as you lecture him about how dangerous that act was. He responds to your reprimanding with a loud, milky, genuine laugh. Your hand comes to a hault as well as your mouth and you just stand there, awestruck at how handsome Katsuki actually looks when he's smiling.
You place a closed hand on your chest, feeling as your heart thumps against it vigorously. Ah, there it was again. The butterflies in your stomach that made your body feel lighter than it usually felt and your drying throat as well as your sweating palms.
"Come on, I find stargazing relaxing." He says, the usual angry tone of his voice gone, catching you off guard. He wraps his hand around your wrist softly, pulling you towards the center of the rooftop. He places the soft blanket on the ground, folding it once so it isn't too thin before laying down, patting the empty space for you. You mirror his actions, laying down beside him as you gazed up at the stars.
"You ever wonder what the alternative universe us are like?" You ask, eyes staring up at the twinkling stars as Katsuki raises a brow, turning his head towards you. "You believe in that bullshit?" He chuckles, making you gasp. "Don't call it bullshit! What else are the stars for??"
Katsuki presses his lips together to stop his laughter, "I don't know~ What are they for?" He asks you, tone sarcastic and pushing you off the edge. "To tell us about the future, and to show us how many other worlds are there other than ours!"
Katsuki can no longer hold in his laughter, clutching his stomach as he laughs his heart out. You narrow your eyes at him, pouting and crossing your arms against your chest. "Let me guess, let me guess." Katsuki wipes a tear away, "You also believe in the red string of fate?"
"How could you not believe it when-" You stop yourself from continuing your words. How could you not believe it when it caused the two of us to meet?
"When what? Come on, tell me! I promise not to laugh." You turn away, sitting up. Katsuki is still laughing as he follows you, taking your hand in his. "What else do I not know about you?" He asks, curling his four fingers with yours as he stands his thumb up, preparing for a thumb wrestle. You follow his actions and the two of you start the game. "I can't swim." You start.
"I had a pet goldfish but it died after a week." Katsuki chuckles.
"I only ever had two friends growing up- they were my mother's bodyguards. Eliot and Andrew."
"I like to cook."
"I still have my stuffed toys from when I was young."
"I tried to learn how to drive but after almost running over a cat, I swore never to drive again."
"I was pretty popular in middle school."
You chuckle, "I was bullied in middle school."
Katsuki stops moving his thumb, allowing you to pin his down. Your face brightens up as you smile, "I win!" You look up at him, smile almost immediately falling at the sight of his grin expression.
His head drops, covering up his eyes. "Hey, what happened? Did I say something wrong? Come on Suki, talk to me."
"I'm- Do you hate bullies?" He asks, his head still hanging.
"Well, hate is a strong word..." You look up at the stars, as if they were going to give you the right word you were looking for. "But I dislike them. What's the point of putting down someone especially when they've done nothing wrong to you? I don't use the word hate because I don't want to use it incorrectly, but to me bullies are sometimes just misunderstood or something. They have that superiority complex and I like to think that they have it because of their past that we don't know about or the thoughts they have in their heads."
You feel him padding his thumb over your hand. "Hey, you okay?" You ask, cupping his jaw to make him look uo at you. The look in his eyes, takes you aback- he looks so sad and regretful which only stirrs up more questions in your head.
"You're so good. You're such a good person, Y/n." His words cause you to furrow your brows in confusion. What was going on inside his head?
He drops his head to your shoulder, "You're an angel, Y/n. People are so lucky to have you in their lives."
You don't even think twice before the words leave uour mouth. "Even you?"
It takes him a few moments to respond and you begin to think that you made a mistake asking him that, but you feel him nod on your shoulder. "Especially me."

Good morning . .
Happy Saturday to .. all..
I hope everyone has a beautiful day!
~~
I stopped writing in my diary about 2.30an, then woke about 8.30am. So I guess that's par for the course for me. Already up & taking care of cats & chores. Heck, I know they live me, even if it's sometimes just all about the meatbone I'm gonna feed them! But when sitting on the side of my bed feeling blue & my cat walks all over me purring. I know she is giving me her version of a hug. And right now.. that's just makin me teary & wobbly. Cause that's probably all I'll be getting.. at least until God calls her Home from duty. Because she's loved me thru so much! Yeah, I'm gonna fall apart when she passes. I don't take one nanosecond for granted. Not with my 17yo cat, not with love, not with life. Cause there are no guarantees. Only that God loves me. So yeah.. I'm takin a step back. Remembering my counselor's advice & skills teaching me. That I am worthy. I have value. That I must take back the power from the fears & insecurities than I have been beset by my entire life. As weird as it sounds, sometimes even hallmark movies can have snippets of advice. Heck, I find that everywhere. I listen for it too. Why I don't talk much. God wants me listening closely, rather than talkin out my ass. This is about as much "talking" as I do. Yeah.. I'm miss you .. wherever.. whomever.. you .. are. I know that I love you .. that I gave my keys to my heart, mind, body, soul & spirit a long time ago. I cannot, nor will I take them, back. So. Whatever you .. are doing, however you .. are feeling.. I feel you. And when I feel blocked from that.. I know there's a reason. Even when I don't know the whys.. even when I'm in anguish.. even when I feel like there's so many things happening that I'm not able to see nor understand because of the veil.. shroud.. mist.. cage.. prison cell.. whatever ya wanna call it. I am separated from you & it's an constant ache. But right now.. it's ripping into me. I am learning & listening to the Guidance & skills I am being given. Implementing them as God shows me when & how to. Slowly learning to like myself.. patience daughter. Yes Father. As I feel Him wrap me in love. Why.. because Gid will only manifest His love thru my soul's mates when I accept myself for who He made me to be. His warrior queen. I don't fit into any humans boxes for a very good reason. Just as I feel out of time, out of phase, with most of humanity. For instance I chuckle that things I consider timeless & my style have now become trendy. Which also makes me grimace. I don't wanna be trendy! I like being shaped unusually so the square & circle don't fit! Just as I'll smash pedestals to smithereens. So too I won't be sittin on any thrown. That's God's Realm, not mine. I'm gonna be in the thick of things with my soul's mates .. fighting the good fight. Against all the legions of minions of the adversary. 'You ride, I ride.' .. You be hurting & needing backup.. I'm gonna be on your six patching up wounds whilst using whatever weapon God places in my hands. Be that sword.. dagger.. mac-9,10,11.. Damascus style blade.. spear.. rope.. towel.. belt.. chain... whatever is there for me to use to defend us. I will. Even as I kiss & pray on your wounds. This is what I'm Created for.
So even when I'm scared, insecure, confused, not seeing nor understanding. It's not because I can't. It's because I am not yet meant to. God knows & has reasons for revealing things when, where, & how He sees fit to. Because He's already seen every nanosecond of existence! And Created us anyways! That's supremely humbling to me! So I pray.. please Lord, reveal today what You want me to know.
I also pray for my life's path & healing.
As I also pray for those I care about.. that number is small. My soul's mates .. my few close friends of my heart.. the ones who reach out to me.. & at least my younger sister, because she has been trying to help me too! Even in her busy elementary accelerated teacher vocation!
I care about the world.. but my circle of those I think about daily... maybe 10 people?
ok. So this got long. I need to get my meds & get to today's tasks.
My soul's mates .. wherever. . whomever .. you are... I love you .. I miss you . Life without you is gray...
I won't ever give up.
I believe wholeheartedly.
~True love never dies & true love always waits.~
Your humbled, bowed, listening closely, carefully, & quietly.. complex warrior queen daughter .
