i know it’s a big part of mammon to be mysterious but i really would love to know their age. there’s a lot more i want to know, too, but they sure wouldn’t divulge anything.
#khr 0#gender obviously isn’t among these#mammon is cryptic gender#also xanxus’ age is wild#we do accept he is 24 since amano has pretty much made him that age and consistently says so#but we really are led to believe that someone can grow in cryostasis#that is somehow canon in this bizarre universe#(anything is possible in khr though)#i was already wondering about this as a kid#i can’t call bullshit on a thing like this though when we are in the same anime that has a 10 year bazooka#that a character uses for comic relief when they’re upset#amano decided that works in some bizarre fashion so it works#characters can become older and grow in ice & a character can somehow be convinced that they are playing a mafia game#even when shit blows up around them and people almost get killed#xanxus did legit grow physically there’s no doubt about that#but mentally??? by this manga’s logic….not even the most insane thing#there’s a baby that defies death. he’s immortal….#though idk how that’s special when characters can blow up through a GIGANTIC explosion and come out mildly bruised….#so the defying death baby doesn’t seem special despite the emphasis#i mean a character even survives having his heart ripped out#by having it replaced with an illusion

Can I request to you a Dazai, Gojo, Alucard and Captain (Hellsing), Tsuna and Byakuran (KHR) with an isekai'd/our world Darling, please?

Isekaid into their world
Dazai Osamu
🤎The one advantage you have as you stumble helplessly into this world is that the environment and the city around you belongs to a place that isn't as different as your own home, minues the people with the gifts of course. The way of living and the technology aren't anything out of the norm for you though so even if you are dropped without any preparation or knowledge into this world, you can still somewhat adjust. Still though, even if you try to blend in as good as possible, something about you always stands out and to trained eyes that will become quite obvious. It just happens to be your misfortune that Dazai is a man with eyes that perceive more than the average person on the street. From the very first glance you two shared, he knew that there was something about you as you looked at him as if you knew him. Rather intriguing. There is always such a cute aura of wariness yet simultaneous curiosity when you have him around you, the fleeting glances you give him always an indicator how you have an inner debate on whether to approach him or not. Normally the average person is easily fooled by his facade yet your nervousness is the one that tells him that you know of something you shouldn't.
🤎How do you know if he has never met you before? You are such an oddball, even though you do not seem like a threat to him. Still, he is rather curious now and would like to find out more about you yet as he finds himself stalking you, he finds himself in a dead end. There is nothing to be found about you. No origin, no family, no past. Only the police records on how you were found one day and how you were helped to find a job and enabled to live a life by yourself. Your mouth is shut when he tries to pry for answers yet all of it doesn't stop his obsession as it instead only fuels it. There is a secret you keep and Dazai is dying to know what it is that you fret to let others find out about. He would love to be the person you trust enough to tell him what it is you are keeping to yourself. If it doesn't work though, he switches tactics by drugging you and getting your mind to finally let loose as he coaxes the secrets out of you. If you were isekaid by dying, he would start musing if something similar were to happen if he would die, although of course he would only pass away with you by his side. Who knows, maybe both of you may even become reincarnated lovers if being isekaid more than once is possible.
Alucard
🩸Your struggles are more obvious as you essentially land on earth in the pat where supernatural creatures exist yet even despite initial problems and a silent anxiety you dwell on at night, you manage to build your life from scratch. Life is still fine after all, even if you are stranded in a world you do not belong to. All that finds an abrupt end though when you meet the man in red. There is such a raw and visceral reaction when your eyes land on his tall form as your heart is trembling. Frozen is your body as your gaze is glued to the vampire until he suddenly stops and turns around and even though his eyes are hidden behind sunglasses, you feel your heart trembling as you finally gather the strength to turn around and scurry away. Your biggest mistake was paying so much attention to him. He wonders what has gotten you so frightened as red eyes follow your form sprinting away. Alucard is rather used to the intimidation humans and even other creatures tend to feel when they meet him for the first time yet your fear was not one of natural intimidation. Those yes looked at him as if they knew him and it is that aspect that gains his interest. How would you know him?
🩸Your hopes to outrun from the vampire king are feeble and in a way you know that yourself. Whether he is stalking you from your shadows or emerges suddenly from somewhere, Alucard is always there and when you do catch sight of him it is because he chose to let you see him. He must admit that your case is a rather intriguing one as he has done his sweet research on you yet is standing here with only a handful of information. There is nothing else about you that there was there as if you were a ghost that one day just appeared. He enjoys the little hunt though which is why he doesn't decide to take the easisest course of using hypnosis on you immediately but with his arsenal of special weapons and the crawling torment he puts you under, it is only a question of time until he discovers the precious secret you have kept hidden. Eons he has been dwelling on this planet yet he has never found a little traveler like you. A human with no special skills who was transported into another world entirely which was only a work of fiction in your own. It truly is rather amusing, although it does also mean that you probably know about his past he wouldn't have want you to know about.
Captain
🐺Captain is a creature that acts on territorial instincts when it involves his darling as he fully embraces his side as a werewolf in such cases. Perhaps things in his mind are just warped if you were to compare it it your own view. After all he found you all by yourself, confused and left all alone. There was the urge to protect and to save you when he saw you alone back then and now he knows that he felt that way because his instincts had already considered you to be his mate back then. Whatever you used to be before he found you and from wherever you came from means nothing anymore as he would have ripped you away from anyone and anything that would have stopped him. It is all rather overwhelming for you though. You got barely time to even process anything after all before you were abducted by Captain. The constant anxiety can barely be suppressed as even the best poker face couldn't fool his high sense of smell. A scent he is very familiar with as many have trembled in front of him before yet for the first time iin centuries Captain finds himself caring about the fear of his victim. After all his mate shouldn't look at him with such frightened eyes.
🐺As a creature of keen senses and an experienced soldier though, things won't remain hidden forever. The first few days after the secret has been discovered are the scariest as Captain goes full soldier on you. Inolequent questions and commands put you under growing pressure as he puts you through interrogation. If he senses a threat, even if it is a hypothetical one that hasn't been proven to be true yet, he is committed to remove the problem by its roots. If you have been transported already once from one world to another, there is no guarantee that it won't happen again and that is especially likely if you were randomly teleoported from your old world. If the scenario would be that you died before landing in his world, Captain would at least have the assurance that the teleportation was only triggered because of your death. Whilst he is intense yet still overall silent about it, things are very different if the Major should ever find out and he definitely will sooner or later. After all if there is even a slim chance of teleportation between different worlds existing, it is something worth investigating. You remain safe from any experiments though as Captain refuses to let anything harm you.
Gojo Satoru
🩵It is fairly easy to somehow establish a new life in his world. Even if you are aware of the curses existing in this world and even if you know about the terrifying aspects of it all, you know that most people go through their entire life being completely oblivious to it all. The same goes for you as you aren't able to perceive Cursed Energy and for that the terrors of this world lurking around everywhere remain hidden away from you. Whether that is meant to be a relief to you or not depends on your mood on that day. Sometimes you feel a light relief that you do not have to worry yourself about the hideous and ugly aspects of it all and sometimes when your shoulders feel heavy or your paranoia gets the better of you, you fear the things that you do not see. It is perhaps a bit lonely, to know about it all without being able to tell anyone. That is until you meet Gojo. What the normal human eye cannot perceive, his Six Eyes can and so he finds himself instantly focused on you as there is something quite different to you in comparison to others. Why? Because he can't perceive you. He sees you just like everyone else sees you and what is ordinary to them is like opening a new world to Gojo.
🩵Perhaps this is one of the main reasons why he enjoys spending so much time with you. Not only to satiate his own curiosity about you but also because spending time around you is relaxing. There are no minuscule details he sees when he looks at you and it allows him to truly focus on the moment when he is with you. He values that a lot and if it wouldn't have been for his growing obsession, he would have been able to not get too caught on why you are so different from everyone else. Things can escalate very quickly, especially once he dives into your background only to discover absolutely nothing about you. Who are you? Please tell him. His desperation is urgent if you leave him dangling for too long and his paranoia can quickly lead him to lock you away at his own place where he can protect and control you better. He won't take it very well once you are finally forced to admit your secret. Satoru has already lost Suguru after all but now there is a potential risk that there will be a literal alternative world seprarating you from him, a place that he will never be able to reach if you were to be teleported again. It is frightening and worst of all is that he doesn't know what he can do to keep it from happening.
Sawada Tsunayoshi
🔥The technology in his world may be a bit more rusty in comparison to what you are used to but otherwise it is quite possible to settle down in his world. That is until you get involved with the Vongola and their business by sheer accident. In hindsight it was rather stupid to reveal that you knew one of his guards which instantly alarmed them as no ordinary citizen should know about their true identity unless you were a spy or someone who might mean trouble from them. Most of his guards and Tsunayoshi included do not go very harsh on you after your blunt mistake, something Hibari criticises them for but ultimately complies although his scorching stares are not unnoticed by you. Tsuna himself is rather friendly though as he instructs his guards that he would like to meet the person who apparently knows for some reasons all about them. He is mostly understanding as he doesn't even force you to tell him how you knew but he also makes it clear that they will have to keep an eye on you because he isn't able to fully verify who you are even if you don't strike him as a bad person. You don't complain though as it doesn't hamper significantly with your life.
🔥The little information they have on you does heighten the distrust amongst some of the Vongola family but since you have volunteered to let yourself be watched, Tsuna decides to not do anything to force information out on you. You find him sometimes trying to pry the information out of you himself though he only chuckles when you call him out for it. Otherwise Tsunayoshi is rather kind as he even starts helping you in your life a bit if he deems it to be necessary. Honestly, he may just manage to gain your trust enough so that you admit everything to him on your own accord whilst remaining unaware that this has been secretly the plan of his. Everything he has done, he has done because he genuinely cares for you but he is also aware that you do not seem to have a person you really trust despite having obviously something you want to talk about. He has been secretly working hard to gain your trust and if it ultimately pays off, he would be rather pleased. Whilst he is rather surprised when he hears what you have to tell, he has gone through quite a few shocking news in his life before so he won't have a very dramatic reaction to it all. He would like to know though if you may teleport away again.
Byakuran
🍬Byakuran's world is basically the futuristic dystopia you have read about in science fiction stories before. Everything is frightening and unfamiliar as you have to fear for your own life without any protection as you are still freshly stranded on this planet. If you would have had the choice though, you would have prefered the uncertainty and the loneliness over catching the eye of Byakuran himself as you are discovered by him one day when you just happen to sneak around one of his institutions. He is a rather peculiar individual as he openly invites you to join him solely because he just happens to find you interesting and for that would like to keep you close until he has figured you out, something people like Kikyo and Bluebell scold him for accordingly. Even if you were to reject him simply because you know just how bad of a person Byakuran is, you would only lit the fire that will soon transform into a burning obsession as you only stoke his curiosity. The white-haired man has no shame in patronising your time as soon as he has figured out where you reside in as he will actively seek you out from that day on to repeat his offer to you over and over again until the thread snaps and he manipulates you.
🍬He presents you with the information he has gotten on you but it isn't that what frightens you. After all he has as good as nothing on you that he could use to blackmail you. It is rather the fact that Byakuran has started making his own theories based on the clear lack of information and your behavior that he has been observing for a while now. Some of them are disturbingly close to the truth and you can see the intrigue shining in his eyes when he gauges your reactions and notices the little twitches you do and the way you cast your eyes elsewhere when he retells you something he came up with because it is too close to what has happened for you to remain comfortable. Byakuran has already been aware that there are other versions of him existing in other worlds but to find out that there are people with similar abilities to his is rather fascinating, especially from a world that is so different than anything he has ever imagined. Whilst he shows an eager interest to figure out a way to your world, it is more to satisfy his own curiosity. You are not going back after all. No, you are going to stay in this world stuck with him for the rest of your life. You are much too interesting to disappear on him.

Ok, chart time. KHR Undying Will Flames into divided into a cohesive whole (Pretty sure somebody already did this like this)
So we have 3 axis under the Sky (which would be Sky Flames / Unity)
So the X axis is the axis of Reality: Storm and Mist flames represent everything that is, that could be and isn't.
The Y axis is the axis of Change: Lighting and Rain flames are everything that changes and everything that doesn't.
And the the Z axis is the Axis of Replication (I guess it should be named Parallel): Basically, it just represents every possible configuration of anything that can exist. Cloud and Sun flames multiply stuff in different ways with a lot of room for variation and evolution.
These axis represent the world, Reality affects Space, Change affects Time and Replication affects Parallels.
So, the Trinisette
The Mare Sky ring controls Replication, and it lets the user get to see parallel realities and go insane through overload.
The Sky arcobaleno gets Change, that let's her see the future, we'll not really, Yuni got that from her family... I think. The arcobaleno get transformed into babies though.
The Vongola sky ring get Reality, so they get to see every other user of the ring since their creation. Apparently, they can also be reforged, cool.
Anyways, an idiot would think that getting the trinisette would let him change the world. It probably wouldn't.
BTW I might be insane, don't know how much if this actually holds up to close inspection. It's 1 am and I'm very hyper.

give me your favorite manga or anime of all time. NOW. like, the ones who changed you as a person. if you are okay with questions like that!
𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄. ╰┈┈➤ Thank you for sending this question in ! I so totally am alright with it, but lemme just re-send this to you real quick as well. ( No escape from your on inquires, Charlotte! )
─── 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐊𝐘𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐍 : If I'll be completely honest with you all ? This show is utter shit. It's one of the worst shounen manga / anime I had the misfortune of watching & reading, it's vapid, typical and totally not something I could ever recommend. I cannot possibly explain to people how trash this series is and yet it's something I cherished deeply because it's how I've met, Nimo.
I think about it often, if I didn't rewatched it, didn't trudge to the sludge they call 'episodes' and didn't Stockholm syndrome my way into falling in love with Reborn and the fuckass cast, I wouldn't have written a fanfiction that involved the Varia & a maid and Nimo wouldn't have messaged me. You know, I really can't find anything good to say about KHR, maybe I like the characters, just maybe . . . not sure if it's the characters or the meaning I've put into them. Though, maybe, it's just that I love Nimo, that I love this show.
─── 𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐀 : I don't know where to begin, how do you talk about a stupid silly show that impacted you deeply? You have to experience Gintama at least once in your life I think, the laughing and the crying, it's bittersweet and it became so special to me, though I can't really tell you if my views of this show had been thoroughly compromised, this is a comfort series of mine you see and you know how it is when you love something a little too much, I don't know if I could go around recommending it at all ( I say, you have to experience Gintama yourself, but nothing beats Gintama when you're 15 years old and utterly helpless, this thing brought so much comfort and laughter in my life during a time it was hard to find both )
I will say though, and this I say confidently : It's a well written shounen even with the offensive, outdated and frankly? awful jokes they sometimes have. Sorachi has an incredible ability to make you laugh and cry all at the same time, he has great comedic timing, with a particular talent for sewing his tragedies. He's my all time favorite writers, just something about the way he present his story is deeply human.
─── 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐘𝐔𝐊𝐈 : I won't elaborate, There's a character here that I resonate with to a ridiculous extent and I desperately want him dead.
#charlottepuddingsposts#𝒊𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒙. ⸻ ◜ milko vs you ◞#* i didn't add them but Golden Kamuy and Dungeon Meshi are the newest strong holds in my heart#* Those writers are my personal standard whether it's the research they put into their stories and the love they've committed to their#*characters...you can really really see the care they put into these series.

How does fandom characterize/mischaracterize your characters ship in fanworks? for Kana
Hi Lou! I forgot to queue this skjdfhjsvfhsf but here's the answer for your second ask. Thank you again for sending them! Putting an old Kana pixel art here as it's kind of relevant hehe She does not give a fuck 👍✨
In terms of general fandom depiction/characterization, I feel like there will be a divide on how people would interpret her gender - whether she would be depicted as some set gender like female or male. Majority would probably depict her as female because we(creators) use she/her on Kana by default and her voice too (or maybe they even saw tk/rv Kana), but I can also see a good amount depict her as male because of her clothing and behavior.
I say gender, because I know there are people out there with strict preference with the genders involved in their ships. I don't really see anything bad with it of course, everyone has their own preferences, as long as they don't force it on other people. But the simple truth is that either and neither of those interpretations are correct.
To be honest, besides gender, there will definitely be people who will also fight on how they interpret her character in general, which would highly likely reflect on how they depict her dynamic with the character she's being shipped with. Though, I honestly won't blame this hypothetical fandom. Even I, someone who knows her current full lore, still feel like her character can be quite difficult to grasp at times (easiest is when she's involved in a comedy scene ngl) and I also get surprised by the (bull)shit she's capable of/can think of. Though, one of the most mischaracterization that people can do for her is to either extremely woobify her or extremely vilify her - in general, just seeing her in an absolute black or white way. Thank you @ciaossu-imagines for mentioning this to me hehehe 🫶🥰✨ sjbfjhvfs
For other possible shipping-related mischaracterizations, I'll just list them:
Love (and therapy) can fix her and bring back the light in her eyes - *smacks roof of the car* This bad boy can pack so much hatred, bitterness and emptiness. Jokes aside, I want to emphasize more that love and hate are two sides of the same coin. She can only hate that much because she already had a lot of love in her to begin with.
Depicting Kana crying from some shipping-related situation? Or tbh...for any situation people would think she'll cry from considering the current information revealed about her and any available canon information in KHR that's retained in KHRe - *smacks roof of the car* This bad boy can pack so much emotional repression.
I see this so often actually, but there really will be people out there who only care for the ship itself, rather than the separate characters that make up the ship. This won't be a Kana-exclusive instance in the hypothetical fandom, but an instance of such would be a grave sin against her character itself. It would really show if they ignore Kana's other important relationships with other characters (like Kurumi, Yui, etc), just to inflate their own ship more.
And that's another episode of: Thank goodness my OC is not a canon character!
#khr#khre#khr oc#oc#oniyanagi#oc ask#ninomiya kanako#einart#queue i can't put into words#the discourse i can imagine is actually scary lmaoooo#thank u god she's my OC; i will treat her right 🫡🫡🫡✨

Qn ask for the Myell!
🌀 Storm: Will your WIP have a happy or sad ending? How do you feel about it?
🌦️ Overcast: Which character do you think readers would love the most? Which character do you think they would dislike?
💧 Raindrop: Describe your antagonist/villain in 5 words.
Hello Muffin!! Thank you for submitting thought fodder for the myell 💙 (ask game)
DISCLAIMER: info about KW's structure below, could be considered spoilers but I tried to be as vague as possible. It's more like future plans than anything. If you're curious about how KW's going to look like, dive right in!
🌀 Storm: oooohh boyyy
Ok here's the thing. KW is a retelling of KHR, and just like KHR it's divided in arcs, though these arcs don't necesarily cover the canon arcs in their entirety, that's only true for the second one. Let's see if I can summarize them (as per anything I make, there could be changes in the future, but this is the current plan)
Act 1 - The Opened Way (current) -> from right after Kokuyo Arc to the start of Varia Arc Act 2 - SPOILS OF WAR (placeholder name) -> Varia Arc Act 3 - SIEGE (placeholder name) -> from right after the end of Varia Arc to a number of months later (as part of some of KW's timeline choices, Tsuna's trip to the future and subsequentially the earthquake which kickstarts the Inheritance Arc has been "postponed") Act 4 - BIRTHRIGHT (placeholder name) -> continuing from when Act 3 has left off to some time after, still before the start of Inheritance Arc
FUTURE EPISODE -> don't know if this one will be divided in arcs too (maybe two?), but it takes place in the Future Arc, future timeline
From future episode on, it's still a WIP.
I know for sure I won't cover Inheritance and Curse of the Arcos in total (it's either something that happens in parallel but unrelated to those arcs, or directly something that happens after them);
I know what plotline will need to come to a close in that final section;
I know more or less what SHOULD happen, but I have no idea how to actually "end" KW. Maybe because KHR itself doesn't feel like it brings "closure" to me, it's more of an open ending which really I prefer over a definite one.
So the answer is.... who knows? Not me for sure (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
🌦️ Overcast: I literally cannot wait to write more about the Entity for this exact reason, because I think she'll cause those two different reactions all by herself at the same time.
Though for the second part, I really think people are not going to like how Myr's going to get going forward, for a multitude of reasons.
First, she's going to take a path that many other OCs before her have taken and I feel many will roll their eyes and be like "what, really? Another one?" (no it's not the new Varia cloud guardian, please don't hurt me). This doesn't bother me one bit, but I have a feeling some readers will not be thrilled about it.
Second, Myr will not make the "right" choice, or the most logical one.
Third, she's caused her fair share of trouble in the past. As our dear Tristam said once, why do you think she was stripped of her birthrights?
💧 Raindrop: I already answered this, but let me get a second set for our beloved Nifate (the actually name of Myr's mom, usually written as Nera Signora because that's her title as Cavalieri Boss):
Cunning. Prudent. Bitter. Sick. Avid.

Forever? ( A KHR Fanfic)
Fandom: KHR Word Count: 1,033 Prompt: Forever? Ship: 1896 (Hibari Kyouya/Chrome Dokuro) Characters: Hibari Kyouya and Chrome Dokuro Event Host: @flufftober
"Forever?" She asked, one violet eye sparkling at his proposal, the other eye obscured by the patch she wore. Forever was quite a long time to love someone but Chrome had never once doubted Hibari's word and she never would.
Known for his cold and aloof nature, this wasn't the type of thing anyone would expect out of Hibari. Yes he'd shown Chrome kindness in the future when he saved her life after her organs failed her, but one rescue attempt didn't make a relationship. The two had been quiet about what was going on between them and some could argue they hadn't seen the signs. Stolen glances from across the room, a fierce protective and almost possessive nature when she was around him, the silent calmness between them when most others triggered his fight or flight response, it was subtle yet clear if you paid close enough attention that yes, the two had something going on between them but what it was exactly was hard to pinpoint at first glance.
Forever was indeed a long time but was it possible to love the same person forever? Undying, eternal love was something only heard of in romance novels as the facts were mortality was usually the reason several couples ended their happy loving relationships. Some couples ended due to cheating, due to financial struggle, due to their lives simply venturing off in two different directions and realizing it was time they both moved on to bigger, brighter and better things for the both of them.
A girl who didn't have a chance at life until her gang leader rescued her, and a school delinquent who no one dared mess with, earning a reputation for being the strongest and most feared in the school had seemed like quite the odd pairing to match up at first. Many wouldn't have even considered them hooking up, let alone lasting in a steady relationship. But years later, now both serving as guardians to Tsuna, Hibari and Chrome were having trouble avoiding the elephant in the room. They were in love and had denied it so long they couldn't keep their eyes off of one another.
Long stolen glances and jumping in to protect her was what started it and the only way it would end was with one of their funerals. Though Hibari never wanted to picture his life without Chrome in it, and she didn't want to think of his fate in the same tone, they both understood it was almost inevitable for them considering the lifestyle they were both involved in. Forever was a goal they both knew was unachievable so for now they were content with the rest of their lives. Marriage was till death do us part for a reason.
Both at guardian status they understood they walked with targets on their backs, Chrome having Mukuro on her side made it a little less scary for her considering she was only half of the Mist, and Hibari built his own reputation for being the lone and fierce Cloud who nothing could bind, known for his bloodthirsty ways and fear of absolutely nothing, not even death itself but it didn't make it any easier knowing every day they spent together might be the last, that the next mission one of them could go out on, might mean they may never be seen again.
Hibari took her hand and kissed it, gently running his thumb over her delicate knuckles. He loved Chrome more than anything but forever wasn't something he could promise or guarantee her and he wasn't a man to make a promise he couldn't guarantee he could keep. Forever was a wonderful thing to think about in regards to loving someone eternally, but it wasn't a plausible outcome that anyone would see without supernatural interference and immortality coming into play. He couldn't actually give her forever spent together, but he could give her the rest of his life.
However there was the concept of life after death and the fact that even if he did lose her, the higher powers forbid, he wouldn't move on to another, he'd still continue his life but Hibari knew he'd never love again. In a sense, then yes he could promise her forever, that he'd never love another than her in all the rest of his life and ever after. Forever might not be physically possible for them, but emotionally they knew they'd found their soul mates in one another.
A hand that had seen much more combat than comfort, reached out to Chrome with a gentleness he reserved for very few and pulled her close as the next slow song at the dance had started. Every eye in the room had turned to watch them, mesmerized by the energy between them it didn't take a second look to realize these two weren't just a casual date for the evening and were deeply and truly in love with one another.
"Forever, and I mean it. I promise you." He finally answered her question as the music drowned out the crowd around them and his focus went to her and only her. Arms wrapped around each other, romantic gaze fixated on the other, Hibari loved Chrome and he didn't care right now who witnessed it.
Even if this was the last night they had with one another and he were to be killed on his next mission, it was well worth it knowing Chrome was his and she loved and cherished and needed him and only him and no other man for the rest of both their lives. He might not have physically been able to promise her forever especially in regards to their line of work and the dangers attached to the mafia, but his love for her would linger on even in the event of his death he'd never let go of her making forever an achievable dream for the both of them.
However every girl can be filled with doubts, and Hibari knew that was what was on Chrome's mind when she told him, "Kyouya, don't lie to me."
He shook his head and kissed her tenderly. "I'm not lying. Forever, and I mean it."

Hey so, I wanted to let your know that I really love your Naruto: Dashing Rescue fic. It's one of my all times fave time travelling fic. I still have the tumblr tag followed lol it's a lil reminder to self to reread whenever I come across it in the 'followed tag' section
I don't ever if you ever confirmed that it's abandoned work or not, I was wondering if you had anything to share about naruto rescue? Maybe your thoughts while writing it or scraps. Maybe not, it's been years also
Anyways, the main purpose was that I wanted to let you know that I really love your writing and a lot of your old works (oh khr too! but esp Dashing Rescue). You were an author that made me smile whenever I see your name as a teen learning about fandoms and searching out fics. I really enjoyed reading a lot of your works!
(Dumb me refresh the page before sending so I had to retype that twice and ahh I realised this got long. My bad)
Wow, that's really nice to hear. I'm glad that you enjoyed those fics! Looking at the dates, it's been almost 10 years since I posted that particular one... hard to believe.
Time travel has always been one of my most favorite fic tropes, and Naruto was really great for those because we had so many time periods, each with their own cast. The possibilities were endless.
For Dashing Rescue, I can see I posted three parts. I dug up my old doc, but there isn't much in it past those. I think I considered part 3 a good stopping point, though it looks like I wrote about a page of part 4 and outlined a few general ideas after that. I'll add that under the cut, in case you're curious.
Aside from that, the only thing I recall is that was using the movies for material and visual inspiration, but that part was probably obvious.
Anyway, thank you again for this really sweet ask. I really appreciate it ^o^
Title: Dashing Rescue
Part IV: Sand and Black Iron
Summary: AU, time travel. Finding himself in the past, Naruto has so far managed to hold back the tide of the Third Shinobi World War. That proves increasingly difficult as the Sandaime Kazekage goes missing.
~.~.~
“Thanks for agreeing to see us, Jiji,” Kushina said, bowing deeply in complete contradiction to her impolite way of addressing the Hokage — she had picked it up from Naruto. Next to her, Minato did the same. Both of them spared a glance at Sakumo, who was also waiting in the Hokage’s office and greeted them with a friendly nod.
“This is about Naruto, isn’t it?” Sarutobi guessed, setting aside his brush to give them both his full attention.
It had been two years since Naruto became an official member of the Uzumaki clan, and thus Konoha. That time had been plenty for the Sandaime to start feeling like he was going grey under his hat.
Especially after Naruto took off for Suna a few months ago and refused to come back, despite the many diplomatically worded but rather displeased messages Sarutobi received from Suna. He just hoped that whatever this was didn’t turn out to be an international incident.
“Yeah,” Kushina said bluntly. “He, uh, sent me a message.”
Or rather, he and Kushina had set about abusing the fact that they held two halves of a single bijuu, which could communicate with each other regardless of distance or circumstances. Kurama had been nothing resembling pleased at being used as an elaborate communication system, but agreed to relay urgent messages in exchange for Kushina changing the form of confinement she used on her half. She still had no idea how Naruto managed to sweet-talk the bijuu into it from his side.
“The Kazekage’s disappeared,” Kushina relayed, “but Naruto thinks he has a lead, and he wants help tracking the person responsible.” He had been increasingly evasive about what exactly he knew or at least suspected, and why, but Kushina didn’t mention that. Naruto got like that sometimes.
Still not used to these sorts of things, especially stated so baldly out of nowhere — the Kazekage, really? — Sakumo choked a little, but quickly swallowed his surprise. The Sandaime simply closed his eyes and sighed. International incident didn’t begin to cover it.
“With the Kazekage has gone missing, it’s naturally a very urgent request,” Minato added. “I might be able to expedite the journey there, if I can be assigned to the team.”
Kushina nodded sharply. “And I can file the mission request for him,” she offered.
“There is no need for that,” Sarutobi said, forcing down the urge to massage the bridge of his nose. “I will offer our services to Suna as a peace gesture.”
“Who will you send?” Sakumo asked, as he finally processed what he had heard.
“Sakumo-sempai, perhaps you could…?” Minato suggested. After all, there was no doubt about who possessed the best tracking skills in the village.
Sakumo shook his head. “That would be a terrible idea. They hate me there,” he summed up. “I was on the Suna front during the Second War, and…”
There was no need to continue. That was where Sakumo gained his fame — and notoriety, upon a path of corpses. He didn’t regret what he had done for Konoha’s sake, but war bred hatred in a vicious cycle. Back then, he had been the same, hating his enemies for what had been done to his comrades and paying back with the same in turn.
“Sending me would be more like a declaration of war than a peace gesture,” Sakumo concluded.
“It would not send the correct message, and would be a complication in itself,” Sarutobi agreed. “Unfortunately, most of the others who would be my second choice are out of the village and won’t be able to return quickly enough. Do you have a recommendation, Sakumo?”
Frowning, the man looked out the window across the village. There was more at stake than first appeared — a situation like this, involving a Kage, no less, could easily deteriorate quickly and violently. So far, they had just barely managed to avoid the outbreak of another war, but the balance was delicate at best. If Suna faltered, it wouldn’t take Iwa long to strike. And then...
On the other hand, this was Konoha’s chance to build a strong alliance with Suna. It would put the Suna council, and possibly even their Kage, in Konoha’s debt. They would be able to present a united front against Iwa, and further strengthen their position with Kumo as well.
A chance to bury the ills of the previous war…
“Kakashi,” Sakumo said, startling the others. “I recommend Kakashi.”
“Sakumo, are you sure?” Sarutobi asked, his brow furrowing as he sat forward and studied his old comrade.
“I’m sure. Kakashi has been a chuunin for four years now. He lacks experience, but his skills are top notch. His nose rivals mine, he’s observant and analytical, and he can call on one of our summons to assist him,” Sakumo explained.
The pride was clear in his voice. Minato, as Kakashi’s jounin teacher, nodded in agreement, though he also still appeared surprised by the choice.
“And… This is our chance to bury the grudges of the past. We have to take the first step. What better way to prove that we trust Suna and are serious about this alliance?” Sakumo smiled. “And I trust Minato and Naruto to keep him safe, should something go wrong.”
“...I won’t let anything happen to him,” Minato promised, recovering first.
Sarutobi took several moments longer to consider the suggestion. Finally, he nodded. “Very well,” he said. “Then I will dispatch Minato and Kakashi to Suna in all haste.”
“What? I want to go too! We’ll be a four-man team then!” Kushina protested.
While Sarutobi tried to think of some subtle way to tell her that the Kyuubi jinchuuriki wasn’t going to be allowed off into a foreign village, which could very well turn unstable at any moment, all without letting Sakumo know the situation, Minato quickly spoke up, “I don’t think I could take you that far,” he said apologetically. “Kakashi and myself will already be difficult…”
Kushina eyed him dubiously. Even though she was one of the few who understood the theoretical underpinnings of Hiraishin, she didn’t have the experience to judge how much and how far Minato could teleport.
Theoretically, Hiraishin’s chakra cost depended on the size and weight of what he was teleporting, though there were some specific caveats regarding distance and the placement of the seals — it all depended on how you went about it.
Kushina was right to distrust him. Minato might have still been able to manage another person, but at least this way there was a legitimate reason for her to stay in Konoha.
But she didn’t call him out on it. “He better come home after this,” she said instead. “It’s been months.”
Minato nodded sharply. “I’ll bring him back once we’re done.” Even if it meant a quick ambush.
“I’ll let Naruto know you’re coming,” Kushina said, and both the young jounin took their leave.
Left alone with Sakumo, Sarutobi shot the other man a considering look. “Are you sure about this?” he asked. “I have no doubt Minato and Naruto will protect him to the best of their ability,” and that ability was really quite impressive, “but you don’t have to risk Kakashi on this. We can send someone else.”
aaaaaa
///////The Third World War was put off, but relations are rough, especially when the Kazekage suddenly goes missing. (Minato is eighteen, Kakashi is ten, and Naruto is twenty one.)
Naruto knows that the true cause is Sasori. He talks to Chiyo and takes off, with Minato and Kakashi following. Chiyo suggested that Sasori would have gone to the old Rouran ruins.
Naruto asks Sakumo to make Konoha into a village that never abandons even one of its people.

For the reaction day of the event, I used the prompt below for Bianchi from KHR! I don’t often get a chance to write for her, so this was a nice little change of pace, and I hope you all enjoy these small headcanons 😊
What would Bianchi do if a stranger asked them for a hug?
Like a lot of things, it really does depend on the situation. Bianchi isn’t cruel or anything and in some situations, she’s going to react a lot more kindly.
Now, if the situation in question involved someone offering ‘free hugs’, kind of like a street performer or a busker kind of deal, just someone trying to entertain people, Bianchi will try her best to ignore it. She gives off strong ‘don’t fuck with me’ vibes to begin with, so she probably isn’t going to be anyone’s first choice to approach in this situation.
If they do though, because she does realize they’re just trying to have fun, she’s going to politely decline. Yeah, it’s likely they’re just an innocent street performer, especially since she gets no murderous vibes from them, but she’s been a hitman long enough to be cautious about letting people get too close to her. She assumes her polite no is going to be enough to make them go away.
If they are persistent though, she’s going to repeat that no. And because Bianchi is a trained hitman, I think like anyone else in that work, she can emit a pretty murderous aura. Even those who aren’t able to pick up on exactly what they’re feeling or why they’re suddenly a little scared of her do really get the feeling that they need to get away from her, that this woman is dangerous. Add on top of that Bianchi’s patented death glare, her clenched jaw, and the casual way her body shifts as if ready to attack at a moment’s notice and that second no normally takes care of anything.
If the person approaching her is someone like a crying child though, she is going to be a little more open to helping them. Despite some people’s beliefs, she’s not entirely heartless and she does actually have a soft spot for children. While she never fully drops her guard because she knows that hitmen can easily come in the form of a child or use one to help make a hit easier, she will do what she can. She won’t get close enough to hug them, but she’ll get close enough to see why they want one. Are they scared? Lost? If the child is crying, she’s going to do what she can to help, while still just kind of being wary about any hidden traps.
Now, if the person approaching her and so casually asking for a hug gives her the creeps or, even worse, if she senses ill intent from them? Well, let’s be completely frank her, my lovelies. Bianchi habitually poisoned her little brother for years and she truly loves Gokudera. She’s known as Poison Scorpion and is a talented hitman in her own right. She’ll definitely give them the hug they want and something a little extra and a little deadly as much as she possibly can.

[👍ask the mun how they think about your muse/portrayal] ||Accepting|| @whiskeysmulti
Hm… I’ve already spoken at length about your portrayals before and I’d prefer to add on newer content than to repeat old content so… let’s focus on some of your other muses that I didn’t touch on the last time that I feel comfortable in talking about.
Readmore for length... of course.
[[Mukuro]]
I personally don’t write with him or send anything to him (as we know), but others do and sometimes you write meta posts for him as well, which I read.
Random trivia is that I worked on this in the opposite order lol so I’m writing this section last and I’m already so tired and my back is PAIN so let’s try to make this less painful for me as I try to be quick about it.
In general, I’ve never threaded with him, but others have sent in things for him or threaded with him. You seem to focus on the more darker and closed off aspect of him, but still balance it out with the fact that he’s willing to put up with things for not only his ideals, but also because of Chrome. His care for Chrome is evident in the fact that he puts up with the Vongola and not actively disparaging them too much for them being Mafia. It’s utterly evident the disdain he has when interacting with other mafia because (as we know) he hates them. So, there are some exceptions that can be made.
He’s an incredibly nuanced and intricate character to understand and write for. I don’t think I’ve noticed much of the creepy-ish aspect of him. Like the shadiness and the intense lengths he’s willing to go to fulfill his goals (ie taking over the body of his friends, taking over the body of a random child, etc). It’s these kinds of actions that really unnerve me and hence I don’t like him because it just creeps me out from a ‘aldksjfalsdfk that’s medium-key scary if you really think about it’ standpoint. I don’t think I’ve noticed the same kind of vibe too much from the interactions you’ve had.
Though, I suppose with TYL, perhaps that was toned down some due to the tools and abilities he has at his disposal now. With Chrome, he’s more or less more human when he’s around her, and the shady, nefarious vibes are less. That’s likely why I haven’t noticed it much. That’s great for me, because I see him doing something shady (I include smirking in this category bc Amano has a way of drawing his smirks in such a way that it unnerves me) and I instantly want to just fly away. I appreciate him as a character, love the way he fits into the story and is such an integral part to the story-telling of KHR… but he makes my jimmies go crazy and I NO LIKE.
For the interactions I’ve seen, I think you’re doing well with him. I can only assume I’d see more of what I deem ‘creepy vibes’ if he were to interact with some other characters, but I’m also the ‘Nope don’t wanna see it, actively will shut off my eyes’… so… yeah. I call it self-preservation instincts. I’m a big pansy, yes. Truly, him shooting himself in the head really cemented him in my heart as: I DO NOT LIKE HIM, HE SCARES ME, HE IS TOO INTENSE FOR MY LIL BABY HEART. DON’T LOOK AT ME SCARY PINEAPPLE MAN.
-
The only remaining main roster muse I haven’t spoken about yet is Primo Shimon… //quietly sets him aside again and gives him a cookie. Soz, Primo Shimon. M-maybe one day. Maybe you can meet Fiore if G allows it…

Request only muses
[[Tsuna]]
Hmm… we don’t interact much with Tsuna and Haru (for reasons that you and I both know), but given what I know, I do think it’s an interesting take for Tsuna in some regards. Like the idea that he did possibly notice Haru, but also pretty much doubt the fact that her feelings were real/would last long. In a sense, she was like a back up almost. An interesting take indeed, and that isn’t to say that I dislike it or anything like that. Just not a take that I think I’ve seen anyone else take so far, which makes it fascinating.
Given some of the instances seen in canon and the little hints of people making references to him taking more interest in her/noticing her, there is some weight to the thought so it’s fun to think about. It sort of works with the fact that he’s so socially ill-adapted due to being so alone for a lot of his formative years, he’s not very good at understanding all of the social aspects or being comfortable in a strong social environment. He’s still pretty young though, so he can learn.
It is that lack in sociability that does hinder some of the way he interacts with people or understands them. I’ve said it before that I personally think that is one of the reasons why he’s never really denied Haru outright in the series or rejected her because he didn’t want to hurt her, he didn’t know how to, and he likely thought that if he avoided the situation altogether, she’d eventually move on anyways. I don’t know if he understood the hurt that may have come along with it, however. We also talked about the hyper-intuition thing, so that’s likely a reason he may not have known, because he didn’t think about it.
So how would he know if he didn’t think to know about it. I do think it’s fascinating how your Tsuna tends to anger Haru somewhat often lol. In some ways it’s unfamiliar, and it may come off as out of character for him, BUT HEAR ME OUT FIRST(!), that I personally think it’s more in line of who Tsuna should’ve been. Hyper-intuition can only help so much, and for a guy who canonically has been stated to have like no friends, and barely talked to any girls up until he talked to Kyoko by sheer coincidence—he really should’ve been making more mistakes when dealing with people, I think.
He should’ve struggled more to pick up on social cues, or misunderstand them. We did see a little bit of that with the Yamamoto roof scene where Tsuna kind of spoke thoughtlessly because he just wanted to say something to Yamamoto, but we know how that turned out. Given his setting, I truly think that there should’ve been a bit more in the realm of Tsuna just messing up with social interactions and bonding with people properly. Perhaps it’s just the fact that he’s the tsukkomi so there wasn’t a need to really showcase that- but we do know he does say some stupid things sometimes because he doesn’t realize how it can come off. ‘dId yOu eAt YaKiSOba?’ << See, he can say stupid shit too and just really get it so wrong from a sociability standpoint.
Like, I expected more things where he says something, intending something, but someone else takes it the wrong way. Idk SOMETHING but it really felt more like… he just assimilated so quickly to having friends and accepting them into his life so quickly. Sure, he did have moments where he’d doubt the friendship (ie ‘Gokudera-kun is going to be so disappointed in me now’) but it was really a lot less than I expected.
Before anyone says it, NO, I did not expect for Tsuna to go second guessing all of his friendships or anything, but it really felt like the fact that he was a loner for so long got overlooked and glossed over. I suppose we can try to chalk it up to quick adaptability and hyper-intuition.
ESSENTIALY!!! I actually kinda find it refreshing that Tsuna does mess up with Haru and sometimes give off the wrong meaning because he’s just --- dumb, socially. He’s learning, it’s a learning curve. Like, he clearly meant well by congratulating Haru on her relationship with Dera, but the way he went about it, just sparked her ire because it’s like read the room, did you really have to say it like that? It just feels more organic with the way he messed up because it shows better how it didn’t occur to him how it could’ve hurt her the way he went about congratulating her as her first failed love. Some of these things come with experience of dealing with people.
Sure, he has a lovely way of pissing her off in a lot of interactions, but it’s kinda fun. It feels a lil different from Tsuna canonically, but I do think it feels more organic and real- which is what I like. So, I like the way you go about writing him.
-
[[Reborn]]
I haven’t really seen all that much of him, but I have seen a small bit here and there, especially with the guest appearance in the ‘arranged au.’ I’ve noticed you tend to stick with his more serious and calm side than some of his more troll tendencies. By no means is that a bad thing, just an observation that I made.
In other words, you focus on the more serious side of him, where it gives the feel of staying truer to the mafia-aspects of things rather than the more troll anime-mafia kinda vibe that Amano gave off, which is fun. He’s still very serious about training Tsuna, molding him to be the best boss that he can be, and he takes good care of Tsuna’s circle. No matter how useful or important in the grand scheme of things someone may or may not be to the Vongola 10, he will look out for them and ensure they’re okay because that’s what Tsuna would want.
I think that was handled well in that thread, especially with how it was Reborn that was giving Gokudera the warning to treat her well and to not do something stupid, else he’ll regret it. Tsuna of course cares for his friends and would exact revenge should anything happen to any of them, but he’s also not the one to openly and so bluntly threaten/warn someone if they hadn’t given any reason to make him be wary of them. Out of fighting mode, he does usually retain the passive attitude, so he wouldn’t have been the one to give a warning, but Reborn who knows him well and knows his stance was the one to issue the warning.
It may seem like a minor detail, but it’s very in line with their dynamic. Not sure if you did it that way on purpose or not, but I liked that touch for that reason. Him walking off right after that warning/threat was also just very like him. It feels more poignant when you threaten and then leave. It’s a more lasting impression that way, I feel as it gives the feel of ‘I’m done here so I am just going to go regardless of how you may be feeling at the moment. It gives very little in the ways of showing Gokudera if his answer was satisfactory or not, gives everyone in the room little time to process the exchange between the two as he just leaves them- which is a lowkey power move. Shows who has the upper hand as he’s the one who chose to end the conversation right then and there and no one could argue against him. No one tried to make him stay or anything.
That shows just how much respect he commands within the Vongola 10 and how strong an influence he is. He did more of the talking than Tsuna did perhaps, given the way that the thread was structured at the time, which would lead me to believe that perhaps this was a lil show for Tsuna to show him how to handle such situations like these moving forwards. To Gokudera’s point, it would be a show of that ‘he may be a tutor, but he commands a lot of sway within the Vongola 10. He is able to dictate the conversation and help with the decision-making. Tsuna hasn’t argued against him or anything, so it shows how much trust he has in Reborn and that is a well-orchestrated and silent display of their dynamic.
It's in the action and the words that really spell out how you view the dynamic between the two and I think it’s a pretty good fit for how they are in canon. I mean, whether or not these were conscious decisions or were coincidental circumstance is irrelevant. Either way, it worked out well and is a very convincing portrayal. Look at me, sometimes I go off by puuuureee instinct and there’s nothing wrong with that.
TLDR: You’re doing great.

4. which muse of yours is your all time favorite? if you stopped writing them: why?
10. what genre do you most enjoy, whether in roleplay, or fiction as a whole? (fantasy, period, superhero, etc.)
QUESTIONS FOR MUNS. // @ramshacklestar
4. which muse of yours is your all time favorite? if you stopped writing them: why?
I have a group of muses who are my all-time favorites. 1st main blorbo: Mukuro Rokudo from KHR The first main antagonist of the first season of the series, but eventually joins the main character's team. Reasons why he did so is... a bit complicated, but he is possibly my first muse and the muse that resembles Jade the most. I still love him but the fandom fell out of popularity and there were hardly any rp blogs for the fandom. I've never actually left the fandom. The fandom itself died for a while, so I simply moved on to other fandoms.
2nd main blorbo: Narsus from Arslan Senki Arslan Senki is so far my favourite fandom in terms of rp experience and content quality. It's possibly the fandom where I met most of my current friends, especially @oftwilight, @madakoka, and @corruptiongifted, and a lot of us are in different fandoms now but we still talk from time to time. Narsus is a rebellious aristocrat in ancient Persia who joined the prince in his main quest to retake his kingdom. Sybil (@oftwilight) played a great Daryun and our muses often fought and squabbled like an old married couple bc that's also their canon dynamic. The fandom had a total of 10+/- people, and we were all friends due to how small it was so everyone knew everyone. I stopped writing Narsus because I fell out of the fandom when the last light novel dropped and it was... bad. We understand that the author got tired of the series and wanted to end it quickly, but it's still a lovely series regardless and I tend to revisit it from time to time.
3rd main blorbo: Sion Astal from Denyuuden Sion is a young puppet king with a split personality and shares his present body with a demon. The light novel is written by the same creator as Owari no Seraph, but the anime covers very little of the main storyline. The interesting parts are locked behind the light novel, but Sion is probably one of the more complex muses I've written. If the main trio were to be compared with Castlevania, Sion would be the Alucard among the group. The fandom had a total of 3 rpers including me, it was funny how dead it was. I left it when the other two rpers stopped being active, but I still enjoy the fandom regardless.
4th main blorbo: Diluc Ragnvindr from Gen//shin Impact I don't remember why I love Diluc but it started on discord when a friend (Cass) dragged me into Gen//shin and loved the grape man. I got very invested in his lore in Gen///pact to the point that I would read both the CN and EN versions, have a folder for all its screenshots since we can't replay events, and even dug out possibilities of the Ragnvindr Family Tree members all the way to the first Ragnvindr Knight. I stopped writing him due to how unbearable the fandom became once people started joining and it became big. I will refrain from going into detail about this though! But Gen//pact is still a great franchise. As someone who knows quite a bit about Middle-Eastern and East-Asian mythology, Gen//pact really portrayed some aspects of the old myths that I've never seen show up in any type of media before, which is really refreshing and honestly eye-opening.
10. what genre do you most enjoy, whether in roleplay, or fiction as a whole? (fantasy, period, superhero, etc.)
I like mysteries and crimes, horror, cosmological science, fringe science, high fantasy, medieval fantasy, anything historical, supernatural, steampunk, and cyberpunk as a set up for my threads. As for themes, I'm mostly an angst and romance writer. I'm a bit picky with romance though, because I do enjoy romance as a subgenre in my fiction/rp, but never a main theme. In the sense that they start off normally and eventually develop a romantic interest in the other. If romance is the only thing my muse has in common with the other muse, I wouldn't find it as enjoyable, and eventually get bored of it.

For the ask game: R, Q, G? 😇
I see what you did there!
R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?
I mean the easy answer is Zoscar XD So I'll do a different one, I really liked the relationship between Zolf and Sasha in s1/s2 since it really helped shape the both of them. Also Hamid and Azu were just so cute by the end. When Bryn used Lucky Halfling to save Azu, it was just perfect.
Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
Oh god I've abandoned so many. Mostly anime ones I was super in to when they came ouy. The one I actually decided to abandon was Code Geass. Jesus fucking christ those shippers were nearly the death of me. I'm so glad tumblr didn't exist during that shows original run cuz anime forums were awful. CC vs Suzuka vs Karin vs anyone else Lelouch could possibly end up with....I couldn't enjoy the fandom anymore between s1 and s2.
G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?
My OTP changes a lot, I usually don't have anything super original, though I was one of the few people who shipped Hibari Kyouya and Chrome Dokura (1896) in KHR and because god knows het ships can't exist in anime (do you see my eyes rolling), me and others got hate for it which was stupid cuz I also shipped Mukuro/Hibari/Chrome (691896) and Mukuro/Hibari (6918) and Hibari with EVERYONE, he was the fandom bicycle for that show (well him and Tsuna).
I don't remember my first OTP though mostly cuz I didn't really get into shipping until I started watching anime.
Currently OTP is obviously Zoscar <3
Thanks Ollie!
#ollieofthebeholder#rqg#zoscar#KHR#god I miss using numbers for ships that was so fun#code geass /derogatory#yami answers

Going by irl women could actually be boss of a mafia family which is more progressive than how the mafia in USA works.
To be completely fair, as I am Italian, I don't know how stuff works in the USA, but it does not surprise me.
Medieval Italy is after all full of very powerful and influential female figures, so a female mafia boss is absolutely possible and feasible.
Also, mafia adjacent.
TBF in Italy a lot of mafia bosses and men are behind bars (not that this stops any of them though), so most likely their wives and daughters keeping whatever they do from stopping.
So yeah.
In general the book "Gomorra" by Roberto Saviano gives a good insight. THe poor guy has now to live somewhere outside Italy with bodyguards 24/7.
"Il giorno della civetta" by Leonardo Sciascia too is a good book on the theme.
But yeah, I have to remember that KHR is a work of fiction too, so anything is possible.

Coming from your bio, do you know of any popular shounen manga or anime where the main m/m leads canonically get together? Even if it's only hand hold in the last chapter, I'd like to know if it's possible outside of shounen-ai or romancs category, for relatively popular manga. Someone told me Tokyo Ghoul has canonically gay leads and that's why it lost popularity, I didn't believe them, do you know anything about that too? Thank you.
Let’s talk about Tokyo Ghoul first! idk where your guy got the idea from, the main character literally sleeps with a girl in a chapter and then eventually married and had a kid with her. I don't remember much about it anymore but, I'm pretty sure the reason it lost popularity was because the last arc or two were, by general consensus, rushed/anticlimatic/messy. the ‘general consensus’ being what I remember from the mangastream comments at the end of each chapter lol
For your main question,
Short answer: if we're talking about a ‘series that ran in Weekly Shounen Jump’ then there hasn't been a single one afaik. and I suspect that we probably won’t be seeing any gay leads for a while yet so I wouldn’t hold up hope for that.
Long answer:
when it comes to shounen manga, unless it already has romance in its genre, characters don’t get together all that often to begin with. sure there’s a few that do (Naruto, Bleach, Kimetsu) but most of the time, if the story has hardly any romantic elements in it (or even if it was teased with plenty), it usually stays that way til the end (Haikyuu, Kuroko, Eyeshield, KHR, Gintama, Sket Dance (there was a confession scene in the last chapter and it’s still in this list), AssClass, TPN, Beelzebub, Hikago, Saiki, Death Note, I’m showing off all the WSJ manga I can list but you get the idea). so as you can imagine, looking for a canon gay relationship between main characters there is pretty impossible.
even looking elsewhere, if you’re looking for “there is no doubt in the audience’s mind; these two boys have hand holding rights with each other”, it’s going to be hard. the best I can find is “implied, but can be explained away” type of relationships which seems to be the furthest they go when the demographic is shounen:
Nabari no Ou - a shounen action manga which garnered enough popularity for an anime adaption, by the same author as Shimanami Tasogare. spoiler alert for a series that ended over a decade ago, not a happy ending for them
Samurai Flamenco - a superhero anime more known for throwing some truly insane plot twists when you least expect it. the closest to relationship confirmation is from some images from the gacha mobile game spin off
xxxholic - more seinen than shounen but it is a spin off to the shounen action Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles so I’ll put it here. it’s a CLAMP series where the two male leads’ lives are very interconnected with each other
these two are very explicitly gay but they aren’t very shounen:
Evangelion - probably the most famous of this list, the relationship (if you can call it that) was with a character that only appeared and lasted one episode but it was fairly overt with it rather than just implying
No. 6 - it’s rather neutral in its marketing and it’s not marked as BL so close enough. an anime adapting a shortened version of a dystopian novel series with an overt relationship between the mains
there’s a few of others like, in DGM where one of the mains has a very complicated and free to interpret past with a one arc character. Banana Fish and Yuri on Ice are definitely gay and popular shows which I wouldn’t put as BL but they are also definitely targeted towards a female audience. Ikuhara is a pretty well known director for his storytelling style and his inability to keep things straight, though not very shounen and if you’re looking for mains in a relationship there’s only Utena which is wlw. I haven’t read it but Blue Flag is a shounen romance manga which went where no one was expecting it to, though it is a SOL romance so I’m not sure it’s quite what you’re looking for.
there’s a few other series which have gay characters in a relationship as side characters but this is the best I can do for leads I’m afraid, hope this helps! if anyone wants to correct me on anything or add to this feel free, this is all mostly from memory lol
#asks#thanks for the ask! really went on a trip down memory lane typing all this out lol#wow remember mangastream i miss them every time the jump+ site refuses to display double page spreads normally#sorry for being stupidly longwinded i just have lots of thoughts about shounen manga

Some Ni no Kuni 2 crossover ideas
I tried to find some fun crossovers to read for Ni no Kuni 2, but I was sad to find that there really weren’t that any out there.
But I have no brain for writing (and am trying to keep myself working on a different story) so I’m going to share the ideas that have been swirling around in the back of my head on here and on Ao3. Let other people have the fun of bring them to life.
So, if you see any on here that you like/want to try, go ahead and take them! (Also, I’ll probably be breaking this up into separate posts if I think it’s getting too long.)
Ni no Kuni 2 x Wolfwalkers: Roland as a wolf walker whose magic was damaged and hadn't been able to use it for a long time. (It's been healed/is healing while in Kuni) He uses the limited magic he does have access to help Even and his fledgling kingdom.
~ Roland can’t/doesn’t turn into a wolf when he sleeps, but he can call on some of the heightened senses while human. (He uses them during the escapes and to look out for monsters. Does a good job of preventing ambushes that way.)
~ He can force his wolf to appear in a panic/do or die situation, but it’s more glowing and spectral than solid and can only be present for a few minutes at most. His human body immediately collapses while the wolf is separate and he’s drained/exhausted when he wakes again.
~ Healing minor wounds is doable but it quickly exhausts him. And if he tries to force his magic to heal someone, it’ll have a backlash effect on him. (basically, if he tries to heal a serious injury, he’ll end up injured.)
~ He’s a little wolfy, when he feels like it. Sniffs with his nose, growls when annoyed (and not trying to hide it), huffs when he’s amused, etc.
~ Is also a little amused when it dawns on him that he’s a wolf (big dog) and protecting a Cat-child King.
Ni no Kuni 2 x Harry Potter: Reincarnation AU in HP with Roland as a jilted Harry who's left to build his own life and stumbled into his past lives' friends.
(Look, JKR sucks, but I love the sand box she put out and will gleefully tell canon to shove it while I play there.)
~ (Possibly also have Roland/Harry be not-fully-human?) Roland/Harry lost their magic after an accident/student-sabotage-gone-way-wrong in 4th year, he lost his magic and was basically tossed out by the Wizarding World.
~ Someone tried to sabotage him by keeping him from getting to either the first or second task. Possibly stunned him and locked him somewhere in the castle to keep him from getting their in time. The Hogwarts students seem spiteful enough that I can see someone doing it. Especially an older year who thinks bad of Harry already due to all the questionable things that surround him anyway.
~ Maybe something like Dumbledore favoring him and letting him cheat/be an exception to let Gryffindor be top dog in the school, or that he’d OBVIOUSLY cheated to join and SOMETHING needed to be done since the teachers weren’t doing anything about it, or something else along those lines. And, obviously, they have no idea what the cost for not participating in the Tournament is. (I mean, it never gets brought up in the book/movie. They just say that Harry HAS to participate and he can’t drop out.)
~ The cost was his magic, but thankfully not his life since he WAS entered against his will. He’s not a big fan of them, even though his magic has started coming back. (Or it had been replaced by some kind on non-human inheritance followed several years later by his magic coming back.)
~ Mostly avoids WW and its issues. Just trying to live his (new) life without their drama messing it up.
~ Dadland definitely shows up at some point. Circumstances are still unknown, but it shows up at some point.
~ The not-fully human thing could be an irony-based idea, especially if the not-human Kuni members ARE human in this life.
Ni no Kuni 2 x Katekyo Hitman Reborn: Roland is from KHR-verse, specifically as a Latent but in-the-know when sent to Kuni.
~ He pegs Evan as a Latent Sky (possibly) and starts following him because of that. (Doesn’t think he’ll Harmonize, but he wants to keep the little sky-kitten safe anyways)
~ I wanna say Roland is either a Sun (for his “Sunny” personality), a Cloud (ready to throw down and tough as nails to beat, but also not as wild as a Storn), or a Mist (because that pecker is a politician and that requires being able to bend the truth like it’s a rubber straw).
Alternative for this one: Incarnation Katekyo Hitman Reborn, all their drama is involved but not central to KHR story. (No thoughts on this one. Just that this would be a kind of reverse-world situation of the other KHR fic.)
I have more, but the next/other one is more than a bit longer than these and I feel it deserves it’s own post because of that.

Hibari (KHR) x Endeavor
Hibari calls Enji a "small animal" even though Enji is taller in height.
Enji: restraining Hibari from attacking everyone for "crowding" Hibari: inadvertently becomes a legendary villain in Japan, more notorious than AFO
Shouto grows up with the herbivore, omnivore lingo
Adult!Hibari's territory would expand to include all of Japan aka Hibari killed AFO. The police are even more afraid of Hibari.
How they got together:
Hibari probably just knocked Enji out and dragged the unconscious body to the wedding altar. The priest wasn't willing to say no to that face.
Tsuna: Senpai...your bride is a he and he is unconscious...?
Enji didn't realize they were "dating". Hibari just dropped off unconscious bodies of criminals and villains in front of Enji for their "Dates". He chased off reporters from Enji for "crowding" and provided food. Tadah, the 3 key traits for attracting a mate: protecting them, warding off possible threats, and feeding them. Enji accepted all 3 of those events so Hibari assumed he was onboard.
Enji was very confused about why a villain kept showing up, but the villain wasn't doing anything Enji could arrest him for, so... yeah. That bit Enji in the ass (literally.)
White hair:
Blame Muroko. It's permanent. Hibari was not pleased.
Hibari teaches all of his children to kill pineapples as violently as possible once they were able to hold a knife in hand. Then enji found out that 3-year-old Touya was skilled with knives. Hibari was very impressed by Enji's anger.
Hibari: Wao proceeds to drag Enji off for sex... makes the next baby And the cycle continues as it only encouraged Hibari to do this kind of stuff more. That would also explain why the gap between the kids is 3 years old too The kids:
This shouto would actually be good at hand to hand combat. Hibari would attack his children for impromptu spars. Hibari would also have no issue with Enji's training at all since it's to mold carnivores. He would approve of Enji's goal of defeating All Might but not of Enji passing the dream down to the kids since that would signal that Enji gave up.
Would Hibari use the little Hibirds to communicate with his kids over long distance? Shouto sends out a hibird from the USJ to alert Father Hibari of the attack. Tells Hibari that hundreds of villains are crowding and hibari comes so fast, it's like he teleported. Imagine if Hibari takes over UA to implement his rules of no crowding XD But he keeps nedzu as a pet since nedzu is a small animal. Small animals get no say in making decisions, only pats on the head.
Reborn: Oh reborn... sigh Maybe he got bored and decide to visit enji's agency for fun. Gives the sidekicks a Tsuna-styled training session.
Sidekicks still think they got ambushed by a group of villains to this day.
Reborn sends a bill to enji afterwards for the training session. Hibari is Not Happy. Tsuna's mansion gets destroyed again.
