I know the decision to have Julian's parents have him augmented was made on the fly but imo its pretty obvious from early on that Julian has Family Issues because he avoids talking about his family like the plague and I think they should've incorporated this into the Julian and Sisko dynamic right from early on because I think it would've made for some really compelling stories and moments and could've set up a REALLY interesting Julian and Jake dynamic which they kinda started to do but never fully went for

- they don’t end up with each other. at least in a conventional way: there’s no staying at the same house, or eating dinner together, or even being on the same coast.

- even when it’s been years, and there’s no reason to fear something happening, or either of them being caught, or they could do it, maybe, they could maybe make it, it doesn’t matter. because in their heads, maybe they can’t.

- webster still comes down to california, of course. liebgott tends to not find himself in the east, he says it’s too cold and it’s the same thought of not making it that keeps webster from complaining.

- they’ll spend maybe a week together, fighting and annoying and bothering each other.

- web leaves, doesn’t write to liebgott and liebgott doesn’t write to him. then one of them will call and have the same conversation about california and webster is buying a train ticket all over again.

- and so the cycle begins anew.

- liebgott is prone to anger. to fighting back. always has been, but after the war it seems to become drier, like a husk that he can’t peel away from his organs.

- and, well, websters father was prone to dry anger. he isn’t real good at fighting back against it.

- they clash against each other and into each other and with each other but it’s always dry anger, and on the offset that it’s more gentle than thought doesn’t matter because the anger comes right on back with the nightmares and lost thoughts of guilt and grieving and the whole cycle starts all over again.

- webster reads and re-reads and re-re-reads the hollow men by ts eliot. next to him in a too-small bed, liebgott puts a cigarette out in the ashtray on the nightstand and tells him that if the world is going to end, it sure as hell won’t be with a whimper.

- there’s a bell in the kitchen that webster thinks that liebgott might have stolen from a restaurant; he likes to ring it to make the other come out and make him breakfast.

- liebgott never does, so webster rings the bell to entertain himself and then sorts through the cupboards that he memorized years ago to find pans and mugs and plates.

- web may not be catholic anymore, but a cross isn’t a skin that can be shrugged off. it isn’t a coat or an idea, it’s as core to someone as the knowledge that lungs inflate when someone inhales. it’s believing with every atom in your body that something doesn’t exist, but still having a small part in the back of your head that sounds suspiciously like a child asking are you sure?

- he carries around a bible, the only tab in it opens onto leviticus 18 22.

- the cover is dusty and hardly seems to have ever been opened. liebgott sees it only once, carefully packed into websters back with ts eliot and oscar wilde and doesn’t say a thing on it

- once, when webster came down in november, he opened it. read where the tab marked and closed the book again. he didn’t touch it, after that.

- webster was awake when he flipped through the bible. the next time he went down to california, he left it at home in a box under his bed.

- guilt is a funny thing, and he has a lot of it.

- over the book. over his own thoughts. over a war that ended a millennia ago that he missed out on, and doesn’t regret, but does look back on and wish. for what, he doesn’t know, but he’s always been an outsider, so he supposes it doesn’t matter.

- of course, it doesn’t matter. it never did, it never will, it never has.

- liebgott pretends that he forgets websters first name. won’t say it, ever, and webster can’t figure out why. it makes him angry, but not the angry that liebgott is, that his father was.

- a shakier kind of upset, that’s more grief than rage. all it seems to do is prove an argument he made inside his own head.

- webster always leaves the same way. in a huff. slams the door shut, liebgott won’t accompany him down to the train station. he won’t call him, either, and webster had given up on writing to him years ago.

- but maybe liebgott sits down and writes a letter, one day. maybe he writes, and it’s the first thing he’s ever written to web and the war ended twelve years ago and there’s a bell sitting in his kitchen, deathly quiet.

- and webster always tends to be predictable. he always has to get the last word in.

- the next visit down to california is much, much longer.

Just curious are you more Fred x Wesley or Fred x Gunn or are you like you like them at different times

I'm definitely team Fred & Wesley!! I've been waiting for them to get together from the very first moment (and they also are one my all time favorite ships), but I have to say that Fred & Gunn are really cute together. I love how she managed to bring out his soft side 💛 The first time i watched the show i didn't appreciate Fred x Gunn enough cause i was longing for Fresley to happen, but i did reevaluate them later. I feel like both ships make sense in different ways, but Fred & Wesley are more alike and compatible in a way that's deeper.

Like, the thing is, Fred and Gunn is mainly an unproblematic ship. They work well together and connect on a lighter level, whereas Fred and Wesley... there's angst. Oooh, the angst. And also, I don't know if you have watched the show already or if it's the first time, but in season 4 it becomes clear that Fred has another side that's a lot more complex (and a bit darker, in a way) and Gunn doesn't get that side so well. Plus, other stuff happens in the plot and the angst that follows forever sealed it for me. I'm an angst girlie, what can i do.

I just love the Stefan earning her forgiveness storyline. Paul is actually putting effort in this and doesn't look dead faced and checked out. This would have been the perfect for them to address all their unresolved issues other than him killing her loser boyfriend and change their relationship. I could have watched a whole season of this. He should have just left town with Bonnie instead of unnecessary dying and marrying Caroline. Sidenote, Stefan looked so miserable at his own wedding, I think that's when he officially lost his will to live.

I'm the biggest advocate for Bonnie and Stefan running away from Mystic Falls together. I feel like they'd have the healthiest romantic relationship. Even in a platonic sense, there was so much potential to explore. It would have been nice to address why Stefan has neglected their friendship so much through the years. He cared about Bonnie but he didn't always act like it.

Paul was over this show. He was not a fan of his character's direction and it shows. He looked bored out of his mind unless his humanity was off. All Stefan wanted was to be human again, just for it to happen and die willingly. It's very tragic. And his brother should have joined him in death.

Just seen someone call Maria selfish for leaving Tommy in TLOU2 when he needed her the most and I’m like???? Did you see him in the farmhouse, that’s a man who is obsessed with revenge and she’s probably given him ample chance to get over it but 18 months later he’s still obsessing over Abby. Maria (and Dina) were both more than justified in cutting ties with Tommy/Ellie for their own sakes. If Tommy and Ellie are too far gone and won’t allow themselves to be helped, their partners are more than justified in eventually making the decision to focus on their own mental health because I can guarantee the post-Seattle Tommy was not easy to live with.

Having said that, hope both couples make up so TLOU3 can just be the remaining members of the extended Miller family all living happily.

But seriously, why is it in any form of fiction or real-life, the woman is ‘selfish’ for actually putting her own well-being above someone who doesn’t want to be helped.

Sorry, little rant but jeez people don’t give the woman a break sometimes (also just a strange character to have beef with given she’s like the only ‘good’ character and she’s got such a minor role)

Someone woke up to find a mysterious letter in their mailbox. It's soft to the touch and ornated with green leave stickers, sealed with a beautiful light teal wax seal that has a wind chime flower stamped into it. They find it a bit strange at first, as they have never gotten any kind of mail like this before, but went on to opening it nonetheless. Since it could only be meant for them, right?

As their hands go on to open the neatly decorated case, they get slapped by an intense smell of lotus honey and probably some kind of hibiscus and lavender scented perfume, just oozing out of the slightly crampled paper inside. "Wow, okay, this is getting *really* weird" they probably think to themselves.

A few minutes later, after the intense aroma wears off, it may be possible to read it afterall! The letter reads as followed:

"Oh my Dearest, Only Love, my heart aches to be with you again. I miss every little breath, every warming glimpse you give to me. It's only been a day, but I already feel the urge to feel the touch of your fingers, the imprint they make on my skin as they burn, and how they get hotter as your blush grows on your body when I embrace you. can I just say how much i hate how dirty Fred/gunn was done by the show? like they were such a sweet, genuine, loving, and organic pairing and they were thrown under the bus for wesley’s manpain and obsession with Fred. they deserved so much better. also i feel like Gunn loved Fred way more than wes did because Gunn saw her as a full human being whereas Wes put her on a pedestal and idealized her. also I think that Fred loved Gunn way more than she loved Wes because she actually chose to be with gunn, whereas she only wanted to be with Wes after she had been worn down for multiple seasons by his pursuit of her and their were no other romantic options for her. and I felt like the show was lowkey raicst in how they tried to portray Gunn as “below” Fred and not her intellectual equal when Gunn is actually incredibly smart and he and Fred had an extremely strong connection. idk I’m just so mad at how the show threw Gunn, Fred, and Fred/gunn under the bus all to prop up Wesley’s manpain.

i think an understudied aspect of trowa is that he likes lions, and that he is nice to lions. this makes him the best pilot. he is handsome and smells nice. his hilights are that he respects lions, and feeds them also. sometimes he rides on a lions back with one hand. this is a good part of his character. another good part, is that lions trust him, so you know you can always trust him and can hire him for anything and you dont need to check his papers at all, because he has the trust of lions. i think he is better than wufei because wufei yells at hyenas which are from the savannah like lions and i bet he would yell at a lion even if the lion didnt do anything to him thats how mean he is. not like trowa. i wish trowa would ride on my back with one hand. i think if all the gundam pilots would fight, he would win. a lion would definitely fight for him and then no one could beat him. i wish a lion could ride a gundam. i wish trowa would let me ride in the gundam with him. do you think trowa would let a lion in his gundam? i think he would, especially a small lion. everyone likes trowa because hes the best. okay that is all of my thoughts.
