It was back when Guy had first moved in. He'd been essentially homeless for a while, couch surfing a bit here and there, going home with victims when he could catch em. As you can imagine, it's not exactly easy for an incubus to cohabitate for very long. He's had a long history of being kicked out of places for being a homewrecker or a drama magnet or just a schmuck who cant pay the rent.

Until he met Vivek.

The specifics are unclear, but opposites attract, as they say. Was only a matter of time before the angel and the demon both set on living on Earth full-time would run into each other, both pretending their pasts never happened.

Guy was a bit weird, but Vivek didn't think much of it for the most part. Guy had no clue Vivek was anything of interest.

Sooner or later, rent was due, and Guy, surprise surprise, did not have it. Instead he offered to give Vivek something... else in return, if he just spotted him on the rent this one time.

It was sort of a 'sure, what the hell' type moment, and to be honest, the rest of that night is kind of a blur. Which concerned Vivek. It concerned him a lot.

Not a lot of stuff affects him like that, but from the second Guy touched him until he woke up the next day, he was completely gone. Checked out. Just a few bits and pieces.

It scared him a bit, honestly. Like anyone with sense after a really bad high, he vowed to stay the fuck away from his roommate from then on, lest it happen again.

Not that the sex wasn't good, or anything. He's pretty sure it was... It's just that he'd rather have more control over whatever intoxicants he ingests. And, if Guy ever figured out what Vivek is, it could be bad news for the both of them.

So. Vivek knows Guy is an incubus. Guy is none the wiser. Hasn't even got a clue Vivek isn't human. He was so starved for attention for that encounter that he didn't even realize what he did with Vivek would've killed any ordinary man, just blissfully, naively unaware.

It's an interesting dynamic. I'd love to explore it more.
