Natalie with an artistic girlfriend
Natalie Scatorccio x Fem!Reader
Tw: Nothing just teenagers being silly...and maybe a little nudity, but just a little☝️Also this hasn't been reviewed and probably won't be.
(English is not my first language)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ This girl is definitely your number one fan, no matter what your art style or if you think a certain project of yours isn't very good, she will always think it's amazing and shower you with compliments because it's you and she loves you so much, and loves all your art <3 you could literally just draw some stick figures out of sheer boredom and she would treat it like it was the greatest work of art of the century.
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ She loves just sitting next to you while you draw, because she loves the artistic process, especially when the sketch starts with something "ugly and meaningless" and ends up being something incredible, you can see the shocked expression and the stars in her eyes as you watch the end result and she's all, "How did you do that?😲"
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ She would love to have little art dates, even if that's your thing and not hers, this girl just likes spending time with you <3 She would also try so hard to do something cool and impress you, but I really think she would have the artistic gifts of a two-week-old baby and she would be all "☹️" because you think her drawing is horrible and that you wouldn't like it, but when you see that she tried to draw you together in a little house, just like those children's drawings, you would be falling in love with her and showering this girl with kisses and affection, and she would be so embarrassed (in a good way); the next time she came to your house and saw her drawing on the wall along with her thousands of others, she would feel like melting like butter, if this girl had a tail you could see it wagging like a puppy's.
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ She would also be very messy during these meetings, always ending up completely dirty, whether from paint or colored markers, or whatever materials you were using; She would be the type who forgets that her hands are dirty and passes them over her face and then her face also becomes dirty, she only realizes it when you warn her between amused laughs.
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ One of her greatest fun is leafing through her sketchbooks, she could literally spend hours just sitting while going through each one of them, always commenting on her favorite drawings from each sketchbook and also about her evolution in art, in a Modern!au she there would probably be a million photos of your drawings on her phone
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ She would love to receive gifts made by you, drawings, collages, paintings, origami; It doesn't matter, she would keep them all in a hidden box under her bed just to make sure her father wouldn't find them and ruin them, but I think she would at least have one drawing stuck on her bedroom wall so she could look at it while she thinks. in you♡
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ If you needed a live model for a project she would 100% step up to that role, even though I think she would never be able to stand still long enough for that, but it's the intention that counts
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ It is common knowledge that her life in general is very troubled, so I feel that throughout her life this girl has always needed to be very cautious about everything, closing herself off from people as a way of protecting herself because everyone she has ever liked they left or hurt her in some way and there are still her shitty parents, you are the first constant in this poor baby's life, the first person she has really opened up to, and it shows in the little things, the little details about you that are there for her even when you're physically not there, that makes her feel loved, that reminds her that now she finally has someone; These little things are your drawings, your art, like all the gifts carefully stored in the box under her pants, or the little patterns of colorful flowers in acrylic paint on the headboard of her bed, or the marker doodles you helped her with. to do on the old all stars, the little discreet drawings scribbled on the theoretically imperceptible corners of her walls, all the silly and fun sketches you made in her notebooks and she loves <3333 it's the little things that make her melt and realize how much she loves you
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend------ She would also be your greatest muse, as if you had a special Sketchbook unique and exclusively dedicated to her, just with drawings of her, it's all about her ♡♡♡ sketches with little notes about how much you love her and how beautiful she is, or drawings of her features that you like, like a drawing of her nose with a note about how you like the little slope of it, or drawings of her eyes saying how pretty they are, etc, etc <3 She would 100% know about him because you never really hid it and she would probably get all emotional about it because no one has ever treated her with so much love or noticed the little things about her
Natalie with an artistic girlfriend ------ Thinking about a Modern!au where you beg her to let you do that tik tok trend with her where you paint a canvas on your boyfriend/girlfriend's back, and you don't even have to beg a lot because she agrees immediately. So imagine being in your bed with Natalie lying on her stomach, without a shirt or bra on and you have an amazing view of the pale skin of her back and the cute freckles there :(( she is so beautiful and sensitive and would get goosebumps at the slightest touch of the brush on your back, like she gets goosebumps all over because the paint feels so cold and she does her best to stay still and not disturb you, but she can't help but laugh every few seconds

ohh i found some notes i wrote of really cute scenarios with the movers+nina. they are mostly made with my sona in mind but it's kinda general enough so if it inspires you in any way, feel free to take these ideas away lol.
under the cut because it is pretty long:
Smitty:
smitty shows you pictures of your favourite animal while he infodumps to you about it.
- or maybe you infodump while he listens intently. After a while you realise you've been rambling and get self-conscious that he probably had known those things, but he encourages you and tells you he wants to learn more so he can write it in his journal so you happily continue.
Rich
you and rich colouring! or you and rich painting. or making origami !!!
- his work turns out really nice while you think yours is a little wonky, but the way he cheers for it just as excitedly and points out little details he likes in your work makes you appreciate it more.
He rolls out a mahjong paper (not sure what this is known as) on the floor and you two doodle on it with crayons and such. this can also be a whole group activity tbh.
or sports! rich teaching you how to sports lol guiding you and being really patient till you get the hang of it.
Scott
Scott and you introducing each other's plushies and playing out scenarios with them, dressing up and such!
watching your favourite shows together, or making sock puppets !!
- Sometimes it's a little hard for you to be spontaneous when acting out which makes you feel like you're not a fun person to play with, but Scott knows just how to bounce off your ideas and make it really exciting. he makes you feel more comfortable to simply not worry too much when having fun.
Dave
you helping out dave with his invention? you and dave trying out weird pizza recipes? maybe dave teaching you how to make simple circuits and electronic things. Maybe all Dave needed to make working inventions was another person to audit and check his machine after he had finished them, to fill in the gaps and blind spots that he missed lol.
- you think you're not helping at all and only slowing him down with the mistakes you made, but Dave assures you've been a big help and tells you the things he wouldn't have noticed without you. He suggests dividing the task to something you're good at while he does the other work, and your both work together really well.
I think Dave would enjoy puzzles (unsure if he does in canon) so you and him trying to solve various of those either like puzzle boxes set or completing jigsaw puzzles. Or maybe trying out an escape room together (in the warehouse?).
Nina
NINAAAA. you and nina cooking. nina trimming your hair or fixing it up. you and nina trying on clothes and outfits.
nina taking pictures of you while you be an impromptu(?) model for her after she finishes doing your hair. maybe she had a short gig as a hairdresser(?) and wanted to include pictures of her work as samples.
going to the beach with nina, playing kite, Nina excitedly showing you videos of Boris and Oksana's ballet performances, going karaoke, making flower crowns,
Teaching each other phrases in your native language, or maybe even learn one another's language while practicing with them.
Try each other's favourite local cuisine. Styling one in the other's cultural outfits.
Sometimes you just feel like you take too much of Nina's time and wonder why she even chooses to hang out with you when she has so many cool friends. You never let her know this thought. one night when you and Nina were both stargazing, Nina says that moments like these are her favourite and she's glad to spend it with you. You admit the same and go on about how grateful you are for her. You don't think you deserve this blessing, but Nina stops you, telling you how she'd choose to do this all over again with you in a heartbeat. And aah I stop here this is getting so emotional lol

You have successfully gotten me into origami. I'm not very good at it yet but it *is* really fun! And do you have any recs for learning more about Agrippina the Younger and/or Poppaea?
I hope you have a safe and happy week. Even if I don't always comment, it's always cool to see what you're reading and your commentary on it.
Really happy to hear this! I hope you have a lot of fun with origami. If you want, please come talk to me about it - no pressure though.
About Agrippina and Poppaea, I have not gotten deep but here is what I have been reading to unlock thoughts:
The beautiful Tacitus whom I still need to finish…
Nero's Women (Anthony A. Barrett), in Cambridge Companion to the Age of Nero. It contains the Further Reading section, which I am giving below (but I have not read these works so far):
For a general treatment of women in the classical world, see Fantham et al., eds. 1995; chapter 11 focuses on the Julio-Claudian period. On imperial women and their representation in public imagery, see Wood 1999. On Agrippina, the main studies are Barrett 1996, Eck 1993, Ginsburg 2005, and Späth 2000. Holztrattner 1995 focuses on the fate of Poppaea Sabina. On Livia as the first of the new genre of “imperial wife,” see Barrett 2002 and Bartman 1999.
The Holztrattner 1995 here is "Holztrattner, F. (1995) Neronis potens, Die Gestalt der Poppaea Sabina in den Nerobüchern des Tacitus. Mit einem Anhang zu Claudia Acte (Grazer Beiträge: Supplementband 6). Horn". Unfortunately I do not read German (though of course automated translation is an option).
Princesses and Others in Tacitus (Syme); I wonder if I got into Agrippina/Poppaea because in Tacitus both are to some degree modelled from Sempronia-in-Sallust and I might have a type.
Jean Racine’s Britannicus, Translated into English Rhymed Couplets by Geoffrey Alan Argent - a dramatic work that from my point of view belongs to the same topic because there is Agrippina. Actually I have only just started this one, but definitely going to read it; also there is an opera based on it. [Youtube link to Agrippina's aria that goes hard: Mi paventi il figlio indegno i.e. "Let my unworthy son fear me", sung by Ann Hallenberg.]
And there was some other play focusing on Otho/Poppaea/Nero triangle at Baiae, of which I roughly remember the synopsis but Forgor the Title and Author. If I find it again I will read it.
If I find anything else interesting - I will certainly share it here because I am unable not to.
Thank you for the lovely ask. I hope you have a great week too!

hi!!! hope you’re having an amazing day/night! I was wondering if I could please have a pair-up made by you! my name is lia! I’m a female. I’m straight. my hobbies or things I’m passionate abt are modeling, fashion, singing, acting, drawing, and I really love origami, especially making paper stars! i think some of my flaws/quirks would be I’m a bit messy/unorganized and I have daddy issues lmfao- BUT one of my cool quirks is I have curved pinkies :) I’m overall bubbly and extroverted but from what I’ve heard from people’s first impressions of me is that I can be intimidating based on my looks ;-; One last thing I’d like to share is that I’m a professional boba addict 😈
Anyways thank you if you get to this 💗

Jim Kirk!
(General Information: James "Jim" Kirk is a character from Star Trek. He's charismatic, a trouble maker, stubborn, loyal and more. He is human, and the Captain of a starship.)
There is so much here that I think would match with Jim. Honestly the relationship would be the definition of Girlboss™️.
He'd definitely be pretty shitty at sewing, if you design clothing, but he'd be very good at designing it. And modeling the clothing with you!
He'd probably rope Spock into actually making clothes? No dice with Bones helping.
Also, karaoke nights? W I L D.
He's a genius (but a himbo one—) so he'd definitely know obscure facts about origami. Probably be amazing of it. Would talk about the 1000 origami crane stories and traditions.
Together you're sorta slobs. You could not pay Jim Kirk any amount of money to clean on his own accord.
If you told Jim that you had curved pinkies with the right look (the "this is really cool/I'm proud of it") he would be so amazed? And he'd find it really cool. Bring you to dinner with Admirals and mid conversation he'd give little jazz hands and go, "Lia, show them your pinkies!"
He'd be genuinely excited about it too.
If he got on your nerves? And you told this man to do something? He's like a dog.
"Sit." He's sat. All for you.
And he will chug boba until he pukes to impress you.
He's just smitten <3 And I am all for any chaos you two create.
Alternate Pairing(s):
Hemmer — Star Trek
Kylo Ren — Star Wars
Sevika — Arcane

Hi! I love your work!!! It's really cool.
I was wondering what the paper notations you write on the bottom of your posts were, and how they influenced the final result? Also where you got them?
I love doing origami, but I don't usually have access to origami sheets and don't really know anything about them.
Thanks in advance!
Hello. Thank you so much!
In my posts I write the paper and the size that I have used to fold the model, as well as the author who designed the work, or the author on whom I rely to interpret my models.
There are many types of paper with a wide variety of weights. My favorite is unryu, which has about 25 grams. It is a very thin paper with low density and very porous, which makes it difficult to fold, but with advanced shaping techniques, it provides exceptional results.
Here I show you a guide to various types of paper:
Single tissue: 18-20g
Unryu: 25g
Mulberry: 25-30g
Kraft: 30-35g
Hanji: 40-45g
Printer foil: 90-100
You must keep in mind that the lighter the paper, the more difficult it is to start, since it accumulates very few layers, so it would be the most suitable for complex models. Papers with heavier weights are best suited for easy or medium level models
You can buy adavnced origami papers at Origamishop.com, but I usually buy my papers in La Dominotieria, Arte Miranda and Japonerias (all this trhee stores has its own website). You can start with kraft paper, double tissue or kami, all of them are easy to fold.
Keep folding! we all start from "0" :)

hello tumblr! ive been putting off making this intro for a while now, and im not entirely sure what to write, but here goes nothing. (also, still learning formatting, apologies if this looks bad!)
-~-~-~-
you can call me Kai, i use any pronouns. i am 20 (i will try to keep my age updated, but i may forget). i probably won't update this post much, unless something big changes.
-~-~-~-
basic dni criteria apply, just don't be rude.
this blog is endo-safe (as well as other system types), and safe for all therians/otherkin! if you do not agree with these communities, please block me and move on. i will not tolerate discourse in my notes or messages.
-~-~-~-
some things about me:
• i am a theriomythic dragon. a drawing has been added to the bottom of this post. (i am emotionally attached to my profile picture, but it isn't my theriotype).
• i am plural, not diagnosed with anything (yet) as ive only just discovered it. my headmates never fully front, and i am still learning how to communicate with them properly. (we have a system sideblog, @infernointerlude! may not be very active there, though.)
• i am very likely autistic, and often have trouble talking to new people at first. if you want to be friends, just know that me not talking much is a common thing, and it usually gets better over time. (also, please don't be afraid to interact with me. i don't bite!)
• i draw and stuff sometimes! my art is pretty limited, and im really just learning how to draw humans, but if you want a drawing of an animal or something (and if you ask nicely) i can possibly do that for you :) i also do origami and papercraft, and i have been learning how to make my own papercraft models in blender and pepakura. i also take commissions on ko-fi! link is at the bottom of this post.
• i like music, and often hyperfixate on it. some bands (artists?) i listen to include twenty øne piløts (clearly), Linkin Park, Citizen Soldier, Demi the Daredevil, and NF. that is not the full list, so feel free to ask me about anything related to alternative music (or whatever the genre of these bands are)!
-~-~-~-
i may not post here very often, considering i don't post much on other social media either (i tend to just lurk the therian/otherkin tags here). but if anyone has been curious about me, i hope this is helpful!
also, this is me! :) (please don't steal, i spent so long on this. thanks!)
Tumblr media
(small update: i have a buymeacoffee page! you don't have to check it out if you don't want to, i just thought it would be cool to have one.)

there's this long-running tension I have with things like fandom conventions, these seems like they're an important socialization channel of somewhat "my people" (don't think I'll elaborate here but y'kno I'm writing this on Tumblr aren't I), but this does not feel like it translates to it being necessarily a good idea to go myself
I do have cons experience per se, I used to go to a crafts convention regularly back when I was in an origami club many years ago. always felt mostly like an annoying marketing chore though. some of it is just that when you run a low-entry crafts for all ages booth you get swamped with small children (maybe have to somewhat watch over them while the parents wander off to instead check the model trains or whatnot in peace) and have barely time for breaks; but even besides that: it's still noisy and crowded, it's still mostly full of niche interests you're not really into, it's still spending several days at a venue with bad food options, etc.; there is a lot of cool stuff to see too but then for that, I could also just go to museums or exhibitions with far less hassle.
the one major upside instead was occasionally talking with someone who actually is seriously into origami but is not in our club yet… typically 1–2 of these people per a 3-day con, and anything similar would be way harder if I was only going as a visitor, without staking down a landmark for someone to find me. I will sometimes look over local fandom cons' schedules to see if there's something, anything, specific on exhibit that I know I'd definitely want to go hit up but nah it keeps being stuff where I'd just look it over, maybe exchange a few pleasantries at most. and it seems that for most of the socialization benefits you'd really have to go with pre-existing friends and be introduced to more people thru them while just hanging out

Shan Deja info;
Tumblr media
Shan Deja of the Isle is her full name.
She is the daughter of Shan Yu.
She is 19 years old by the time the events of the pocketwatch roll around.
Deja is the youngest of 5 siblings (with Shing, Simon, Shiro, and Desiree in that order all being at least 6 years older than her).
She is one of the only ones of her siblings to go to Auradon Prep.
She is dating Glauco White, the son of Snow White.
She and Edie join Hadie in his 'crusade of evil' and are both very offended that no one really takes them seriously other than those who just hate vks in general.
She was trained in multiple forms of combat and weaponry growing up.
Deja works at Shan Yu's Dim Sum and is one of Hadie's 'minions'.
She can primarily be seen wearing dark colors with the exception of light blues and greens.
Except for when she's wearing clothes she stole from Glauco.
Which becomes really awkward sometimes when the clothes she stole from her boyfriend turn out to be borrowed from Danny. It has happened more than once.
Her favorite colors are teal and red.
She is awful at remembering to carry Hair ties on her person. Good thing for her that her friends in both her friend groups are better at remembering that.
Deja still has the wallet/clutch bag she stole from Evie with Cash Clayton back in d2.
She is the scariest of ALL of her friends when she's angry.
She wears black war paint around her eyes and when she isn't permitted to do that, she goes heavy on the eyeliner.
Her dad passed his old sword down to her and it has become her primary weapon.
She is the closest to her dad but isn't oblivious to his flaws.
She loved cherry coke.
She, like most vks, is multilingual. Unlike most vks though, she can read, sign, and write in all the languages she can speak.
She has a black horse that she named 'Mazu', after a goddess from a legend her father told her when she was little.
Deja has always also had a strange fascination with death and the occult. Something that only grew after she met Hadie.
She can't do origami to save her life (which annoys her since her dad and siblings have tried to teach her it several times).
Her handwriting is neat, legible, and very pretty however. Unlike Desiree and Simon's.
She still communicates with Shiro after the Tremaine Fire until he flees after the barrier is brought down.
She is also obsessed with miniature models of things and is good at buliding them.
Everytime Deja sees a cool rock she thinks of Glauco.
She goes to every game of his that she can and he does the same for her tournaments.
She is failing just about every dumb class Auradon has (Smiling, Remedial Goodness, and Virtues and Values) because she just won't get with the program since she finds them stupid.
She also encourages Red and Glauco in their journalism pursuits even when Danny begs her not to.
Also she like Hadie and their other friends started following the Badun Detective Agency around after the barrier was brought down, wanting to be a detective. She still does want to be one.
Oh and she's not bad at first aid either.

Scrunkore Media "Thread" 2023: Part 5
I got burnout and never got back into it so I'm hella simplifying it lol shit happens
Tumblr media
the scrunko core has burned out, rebooting
50) Wendell & Wild (Movie, 2022)
A lovingly crafted stop-motion animated movie with some good old kid-friendly horror vibes and a punky attitude, even starring a pretty nice transmasc character that I'm super happy to see. It's a nice story with a good visual style and a lot of heart, and I think Key and Peele being involved is pretty funny honestly. [4★]
51) Murder by Numbers (Switch, 2020)
Decent enough Picross game with a basic detective narrative stringing it together that I'm not really a huge fan of, but it does its job and I appreciate the adorable robot as well as some of its representation. And no idea how they got the composer from Ace Attorney and Ghost Trick, lmao [3★]
52) Pokémon Picross (GBC, Unreleased)
Yeah, this was better than the 3DS one, it's just basic Picross that doesn't do much (only real mechanic it adds is being able to change the music) but that's still better than the shitty mobile game model. They really should have just released this, it was straight-up finished and I even got a cart that works on original hardware because I think that's neat. [3.5★]
53) Paper Mario: The Origami King (Switch, 2020)
Going to be killed for playing this as my first Paper Mario but who cares, this game is cool in spite of its awkward battle system (which DOES kinda suck). Just a fun adventure with typical quirky writing and some surprisingly powerful moments, plus an excellent soundtrack, I'm sure some of the earlier games are better but I did play this one and did enjoy it. [4★]
54/55) Knives Out/Glass Onion (Movies, 2019/2022)
Incredible pair of detective movies, both full of really engaging writing and directing work that keeps you invested and never stops being entertaining to watch, surely still really good on a rewatch too. They also really fuckin' hate rich people, especially the second one which is woke as hell and has one of my favourite endings in anything, so that's what some might call "based". I can't wait to see what Rian Johnson does for the third Benoit Blanc movie, which is apparently meant to be a 2024 release. [5★]
56) Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW Comics, 2018-Present)
These are some damn enjoyable comics, telling some fun and generally quite well-written stories set after the events of Sonic Forces with a cast of really cool characters. Honestly kind of ride or die for Tangle and Whisper, but original villains like Dr Starline are great to read too. Early highlight is definitely the Metal Virus arc, but the more recent stuff with Surge was excellent too. Safe to say the team behind these stories know their shit. [4.5★]
57) Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Movie, 2023)
They really did it, they went out of their way to make a bigger and better sequel to one of the greatest animated movies I've seen, and it's very possible that they succeeded... but we won't know until the second part comes out, which looks unfortunately unlikely to be any time soon because production sucked. Still, what we did get is yet another gorgeously animated spectacle with a cool storyline, everyone knows that. [4.5★]
58) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Movie, 2023)
One of the only parts of the MCU that I cared about more or less concluded with this movie, and fuck it might be the best one in the trilogy. Rocket's harrowing backstory really hits out with that theme of some jerkass playing god, and the core adventure of the film is pretty engaging too, just as cool as ever. Plus it's now confirmed Vocaloid exists in the MCU lol [4.5★]
59) The Suicide Squad (Movie, 2021)
Another instance of James Gunn making an actual good superhero movie, this time making a good adaptation of something that previously had a bit of a shit one. I appreciate the kinda edgy nature of the titular squad that was handled solidly here, and their antics are honestly pretty funny. Fun action sequences too, and it's honestly really cool how much the movie thinks rats are awesome (they kind of are tbh). Peter Capaldi, the best version of Doctor Who, playing a mad scientist role is also just... really good. [4★]
60) Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (Movie, 2022)
Man fuck Disney, this is obviously the best version of the Pinocchio story and their attempt to overshadow it was lame as hell. I quite like the darker take on the story with themes of death and war around Italy's rise of fascism (Tom Kenny Mussolini is crazy btw), and of course the stop-motion animation is really quite excellent. Always love to see movies made in such a way. [4★]
61/62) Sonic and the Secret Rings/Black Knight (Games, 2007/2009)
Yeah, I get why the storybook duo of games have a bad reputation, because the motion control gimmicks kinda suck, but Secret Rings suffers from it far more than Black Knight, and that still has the cool ideas and solid writing combined with a great soundtrack (both games have this). Maybe the mission-based level structure isn't great, but there's some fun stuff to be found in these. Wish they were better though. [2.5★/3.5★]

Nezha and Shark Han
These two figs make me giggle - Gong Jun's enormous grin, and Zhehan's "shark" hat.
Let's start with the inspiration for these two boys! First, as you well know, is Gong Jun's stint as Nezha on his (solo) appearance on Happy Camp.
Tumblr media
And here's him waving to the crowd:
We've seen Junjun's fig appearance as Nezha before in this post, but this is the first time we've seen Zhehan's iconic shark hat in fig form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The hat certainly does very quite unique to me - the folded origami form is not one I've seen before.
Tumblr media
The fig maker modified Zhehan's jacket to be more like a ...snuggly? not really sure what to call it! More like a costume. Junjun's outfit IS a costume, and I really do laugh every time I see his enormous grin.
Tumblr media
I just now realized this Nezha Jun fig doesn't have his spear! He wouldn't have it though, because his hands are fully occupied with the pose.
Tumblr media
I know I call Zhehan Shark Han here for the hat, but he's really Cat Shark Han! We get a good view of his tail and one of his ears here.
Tumblr media
Here's where you can see that the jacket does in fact zip up in back. We'll get more shots as we travel around the fig! I also really love all the detail on the flower petals on Junjun's costume. It's a very 3-D costume and this really delivers on it.
Tumblr media
Speaking of 3-D, the fig maker made absolute sure to give Zhehan's curvy backside the attention it deserved! I laughed when I turned this around the first time - I was not expecting it.
Tumblr media
You can actually see here how they modeled it as a suit around him - very cool. You can also see the extremely sassy and cute hand on hip Junjun pose!
Tumblr media
Hehehe, something about that hand on the hip just makes me laugh! It's not modeled out in detail, it's just a round-ish ball on the hip, and it's really very cute to me. You also get a really nice view of Zhehan's hat here.
Tumblr media
And we're back around! I forgot to mention I like the little pink paws on Zhehan's hands - the little touches of pink there and in his cat ears match with the pink in Nezha's flowers.
Tumblr media
The top view on this is good because you can really see the detail on the hat/hairpieces, and more of the very 3-D nature of Zhehan's costume.
Tumblr media
As you can see, the figs stand up pretty well. Zhehan, despite the wider base, is not quite as absolutely solid standing as you might expect, but that's because the modeling has some interest on the bottom and is not just a smooth flat line.
Tumblr media
You can see the fig maker even modeled/painted a zipper at the bottom of Zhehan's coat/costume!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
May I mention again how much I like the fig maker's interpretation of these two inspirations. The modeling of the Nezha outfit and the very high-energy, sassy Junjun, and the cute cat Zhehan in the costume is clever and cute. I didn't expect to like these figs as much as I do, but I enjoy them quite a bit!

short term goals, i wanna save up enough money to spend new years in sydney, somewhere i’ve been wanting to visit since i was a kid. i also wanna learn a language, probably mandarin bc i also wanna go to singapore one day and i hear its useful lmao
medium term goals i wanna at least be on my way to finishing the book, maybe even having it published. personal life wise i definitely wanna be dating again bc it’s been way too long and i miss it. i also wanna be working towards/have been given a promotion at work just bc i know im gonna deserve it haha. and if the book sells well then i wanna be leaving my job simply bc being a writer is my passion 100%
long term goals i just wanna live in a nice city, maybe brisbane, los angeles, toronto, somewhere scenic but quiet with my wife and our dogs where i can write till my hearts content.
some questions to ponder:
who, dead or alive, is coming to a dinner party you’re hosting? max guests, 9, as there are 10 seats at the table and you need one haha
if you could time travel, what 3 destinations are you hitting? you can go forwards or backwards in time
you’re a billionaire but not with money. what is the thing you have billions of?
warm regards, your pal, kai :)
(long)
Yesssssss I love extended chapters :D
Those are some great goals, I wish I had as clear of an idea of what I want in life but maybe someday, this is pretty inspirational!
> aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I've always been terrible at the dinner party question but here we go, in no particular order:
1. My (sadly deceased) uncle, he was a really cool guy and I want to pick his brain about some life stuff (don't feel bad, it was a really long time ago)
2. Gretchen McCullough, my celebrity linguist fav haha
3. James Acaster, for the funny stories
4. Jacqueline Wilson, childhood favourite author
5. R F Kuang, current favourite author
6. John McWhorter, another one of my fav linguists
7. RTGame, favourite youtuber
8. The creator of Pusheen
9. Dodie, favourite musician
> Ooooooh travel question but in time, if you ignore the repercussions/restrictions I would inevitably face for being afab, queer and disabled I'd go to the renaissance in Italy, Japan in whatever decade Nintendo first showed up and Brisbane for the 2032 Olympic games :)
> hmmmm what about a billion winning lottery tickets? sldhsksjsldhs jk I'd have a billion origami models in my collection, move over legend of 1000 cranes here I come
Thank you once again for the questions, are you/did you do anything fun this weekend? :)
