ngl learning that i can take walks at any time of the night has helped me so much. it's still some anxiety but also freedom. 2am 5am 11pm walks are all just cozy by now. i still have friends who want me to check in once I'm back home and i love them mwah mwah but it's so so so nice to not say it's too late or be scared of the dark. it's like I'm reclaiming the night while playing with firematches😑 had the weirdest 3am walk where it started to pour down out of nowhere and it was nowhere on the weather app to be foreseen. biggest monster at night is the weather and my paranoia has calmed down tremendously

A/n- First work in a while. Hope its ok
Paris. The city of love. Everyone has heard that saying and it was honestly true. From your first steps off the plane, you just felt your emotions heighten somehow. Sure it could have been a placebo effect just knowing you were there but either way, you could just feel the love in the air.
Your walk through the airport was almost robotic until you felt a tap on your shoulder. Looking to the side you saw Sejeong smiling at you and handing you a bottle of water.
“Drink. You slept for most of that flight so I imagine you are thirsty.”
Taking a sip of the water, you continued to walk throughout the airport eventually reaching the luggage pick-up section. A few minutes go by as the two of you just stood there in silence, your fingers fidgeting. The sound of a slam gets you back to your senses as you see the luggage begin to fall down the conveyor belt.
Different kinds of suitcases move around on the belt as you see the familiar blue from your couple set. Picking them up, you check to see if your names were on them. Once you saw that the bags were both yours, you picked them off the belt and placed them on the floor.
Pulling out the handles, the two of you made your way to the exit to the airport. The flashing cameras were already going off as you got closer and closer to that door. Finally, near the door, you saw your security team waiting to escort you. With a quick nod, the men formed a circle around the two of you as you walked out the door.
The yelling from the cameraman was very apparent as they were not happy that they couldn’t take any shots of the star in front of them. The yells from your security team rang in your ears as you took slower and slower steps until the circle was opened, showing you the front door to the black car.
Stretching out your hand, you then let Sejeong enter the car as you followed behind her. Once in, the door gets closer as the camera flashes continue to go off. The sound of the trunk closing gets your attention as the car begins to move little by little. The honking from the horn continued to echo in the air until police began to push the paparazzi from the car. Finally free the Mercedes picked up speed In the street.
“Well, that was quite the event. I’m glad I scheduled that security to be there for us.”
“I didn’t expect people to know who I was. That honestly was a surprise.”
“I knew it would be like this. Your fame blew up thanks to the Netflix show. Fashion week here in Paris is also a massive thing, so anyone invited to these shows would get surrounded by paparazzi as well.”
“Well thank you for planning appropriately. That’s why you're my favorite manager.”
“I’m your only manager.”
“Exactly. That makes you my favorite manager either way.”
Laughter filled the car as you slid your hand towards Sejeong’s, taking hold of it. A smile filled your face as you looked towards your girlfriend, Her smile was just as big as your own. The ride from the airport to your hotel continued as you finally made it to the front door. This place just looked amazing from the outside.
The white exterior was somehow very pleasant to the eyes as you opened the door to the car. Stepping out, you reached out and helped Sejeong step out of the vehicle as well. Bellboys soon grabbed your luggage as they then pointed towards the front door. Following their lead, you made your way into the hotel.
The hotel kept its older look which was honestly perfect. It’s kept that romantic feeling you had felt earlier coming off the plane. Getting to the reception desk you stood in front of a French woman who gave you a big smile.
“Welcome to the Ritz Paris. May I know the name your reservation is under?”
“Yes, it’s under the name Park Dong-Yul.”
Once you said your name, the woman began to search for your name on the computer. The repeated clacking from the keyboard came to a stop as the receptionist looked up and smiled at you.
“I see you have the presidential suite reserved for two weeks as well as another room on the floor below. It is a great suite and I am sure you will enjoy it there. Now I see that your stay is already paid for so I will just hand you the key cards.”
Once the cards were programmed, the front desk worker handed them to you and smiled.
“I hope you enjoy your stay here. The bellboys will help bring up your luggage.”
“Thank you.”
Grabbing the cards, you followed the bellboys as they escorted you to the nearest elevator. Once you entered you saw that the elevator had one of the scanners that the doors had for key cards.
“Mr.Park. May I ask you to scan your key card? You will need to use it each time you want to get up to the penthouse floor.”
With a quick nod, you scanned your keycard on the elevator panel and pressed the round button labeled P. As the doors closed, you felt a small jolt come from the elevator as it commenced its journey up. The ride was short as the hotel was not that tall, so a ding from the elevator came quickly. Once the doors opened, you stepped out and followed the bellboys to your front door.
“Just scan your key card and you can enter your home for the next few weeks.”
Scanning the card, a small beep rang out as the lock to the door came undone. Pulling down on the handle, you pushed the door open and held your hand out to Sejeong. As she took hold of it, you both went inside your suite and began to take a look around. As the bellboy entered and placed your bags in the living room.
Taking out a bit of money, you handed it to the bellboy and he said his goodbyes leaving just Sejeong and yourself in the room. Taking a look around, you saw a big living room with a nice tv and couch. Walking towards the bedroom, you saw how big the one bed was with a giant frame holding the mattress.
A few more steps bring you to the bathroom. The massive glass shower was in the corner as you saw a big bathtub at the edge of the wall. The double vanity was perfect for getting the 2 of you ready at the same time.
“Really is a beautiful suite.”
“Yeah, it is.”
Taking a few steps closer, Sejeong then hugged you and looked into your eyes.
“We should freshen up.”
Kissing Sejeong on her forehead, you nod your head in agreement and pull back from her. Your girlfriend then began to remove her clothes in a hurry and jumped into the shower. Following her example you did the same.
Entering the shower, your body was quickly hit with the warm water from the shower head. With her back facing you, your arms wrapped around your girlfriend's waist and pulled her close to your own body. Your lips went to her neck and began to pepper it with small kisses up and down her collar.
“Mhmmm. Already? We just got here.”
“Can you blame me? Your body just drives me feral.”
Lowering your hands, your fingers got closer to Sejeong’s folds until you felt her hand grab you.
“As much as I would love to have a little session, we should get ready for today. This is the only chance we have.”
Much to your dismay, your hands pulled back and Sejeong grabbed the soap. Spreading it all over her body, your hands helped lather her smooth skin. Your fingertips could feel every bump and curve on your girlfriend's body as they helped her reach all the parts of her body.
Once done with her, Sejeong did the same to your own body with a few little slaps to your ass while she was at it. The shower came to an end as the water washed away the remaining soap from your bodies, down the drain.
Stepping out of the shower, you grabbed some towels and got both of you dry. Once dry, you made your way over to your luggage and began to pull some clothes from your suitcase. The striped red dress shirt you threw on matched Sejeong’s orange top. The top was a little shorter showing a bit of her stomach before reaching her black jeans. Throwing a brown blazer on top, her outfit was complete.
Once you finished putting on your dull outfit and grabbing a small box from your backpack, you saw Sejeong walking back to you after putting the phone down. Taking hold of your hand, Sejeong then smiled and looked into your eyes.
“I already requested a cab for us. There should be one for us in a few minutes. We should probably head down.”
“Sounds good. After you, my dear.”
Heading to the door, your legs followed behind your girlfriend to the elevator. Pressing the button, the elevator dinged as the doors opened. Stepping on, your girlfriend pressed the button to go down to the lobby. As the doors closed, the elevator gave a little jolt as it went down a few floors.
That small ding returned as the elevator doors opened once more. Stepping off with Sejeong, the two of you hand in hand walked towards the exit and made your way outside. Seeing the familiar Yellow hue of a taxi, you made your way over and opened the door for Sejeong. Jumping in after her you fastened your seat belt and looked at the driver.
“Near the Eiffel Tower please.”
With a simple nod, the man began to drive as Sejeong laid her head on your shoulder. The drive was rather short but silent. Neither you nor Sejeong spoke the entire time. The only sound that your ears picked up was your heartbeat.
Stepping out of the yellow vehicle, the masses of tourists all around crowded both you and Sejeong as you both began to walk. Knowing your girlfriend would want a picture to commemorate this trip, your legs continued to look for a good spot.
Finding an empty street with the national landmark in view, the two of you made your way to the middle of the road and looked at the giant tower. No cars came down the stone road as Sejeong pulled out her phone and handed it to you.
As the Idol began to pose, you pulled up the camera app on her phone and began to take pictures of her. Each image that filled your screen brought a wider and wider smile to your face. She was your happiness, and you never want her to be gone.
As Sejeong walked back over, you were reminded of the plan once you saw some documents in her hand. Bringing your head back up, Sejeong smiled and took hold of your left hand.
“It’s just over there. Let’s go!”
Filled with energy, the two of you ran down the street like a young couple in a K-drama. Arriving in front of the nice building, the two of you walked to the front door that had two main words written on it. Town Hall.
Pulling the glass door open, Sejeong ran in leaving you to follow her brown jacket to the reception desk. Getting closer, you saw Sejeong trying and failing at communicating with the woman at the desk. She was good at understanding English but not the best speaker.
“I’m sorry. She’s a little enthusiastic. What floor can I find the family and children department?”
“Third floor. On the right-hand side once you step off the elevator.”
Despite the woman’s heavy accent, you managed to understand what she said. Thanking the woman, you followed what she said and walked over to the elevator, and hopped on. Selecting the third floor, the metal cage closed its doors and made the quick trip up.
When the doors opened, you took hold of Sejeong's hands and walked out of the elevator. On the left side, a giant staircase could be found that probably led back to the lobby. Going to the right, you began to follow the arrows to a door at the end of the hallway.
Getting closer you began to see on the door the words in French were written as well as in English, Family and children. As your hand went on the handle, you began to feel Sejeong’s hand tremble as it was intertwined with your own.
Feeling that, you let go of the handle and look back at Sejeong.
“Hey. you ok?”
“Y-Yeah. Just nervous about it all. W-What will people say? What will the company say?”
“A-Are you having doubts? We don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. If you felt pressured I’m-“
“No. I never felt pressured, Dongyul. I ran here with you, remember? It’s just that so much could go wrong. First, the company could fire you let alone-“
“Sejeong, dear. I couldn’t care less about what people will say or think. The only thing that matters to me is your response to this. Do you love me?”
“Don’t ask me stupid questions. Of course, I love you.”
“That’s all that matters. We don’t need to do this today. We can just go enjoy the day and do this in the future. I will wait as long as you need me to. I will love you for the rest of my life, even if we never did this.
Walking away from the door, you felt your feet stop in their tracks as Sejeong pulled you back. Wrapping you in her arms, your girlfriend dug her head into your chest and stayed there for a bit.
“Let’s do it. You could have gotten mad that we made it all the way here but didn’t go through with it. Instead, you wanted to make sure I’m ok and will do anything to make me happy. Even wait for a time I’m 100%, be that today or never. The fact is my life as an idol will always bring me doubts about stuff but the one thing I don’t doubt is how much I love you. Let’s go.”
A smile filled your face as you reached for the door handle and turned it. Walking into the room, you found a woman at the reception desk looking at the two of you entering.
“Welcome to the Family and Children department. How can I help you? Do you have an appointment?”
Luck was on your side as the woman spoke very good English.
“Um no but we were hoping to get a ceremony held today.”
“What type of ceremony?”
Sejeong took a step forward and smiled.
“My boyfriend and I would like to get married.”
The woman at that time stood up from her seat and gave you an expression that could only be described as delighted.
“Oh, my god. Do you know how long it’s been since we had a wedding here? Let me call the mayor and he will come down from his office right now!”
Picking up the phone, the middle-aged woman began to press several buttons on the landline and then put the receiver to her ear.
“I wonder how long it’s been since they had a wedding here. She seemed way too excited to have to do a ceremony.”
“I would assume they have one of these done every 15 minutes. There wasn’t even a line here at all.”
Before you could continue your conversation the woman came running up to the two of you and began to push you out the door. Pulling you both to the stairs the woman began to speak once more.
“Let’s go up a floor and we will meet the Mayor in his office. Did your two bring witnesses to sign on the marriage certificate?”
“Shit. I might have forgotten about that part.”
“Well typically we would reject you but I can sign and the mayor's secretary can sign as well. Just don’t tell anyone we will do it for you.”
Your fiancé at that time chuckled and gave you a flick to the forehead. Finally, up the stairs, you found several rooms in a hallway. Following the woman, you made it to the door at the end of the hallway. As she opened it, you saw what seemed to be a desk in the room. Once in, you saw that there was another door next to the desk.
As the younger woman saw you three enter, she waved at you all to walk over and stood up.
“Perfect. He’s in his office waiting. I’m Michelle.”
“Wow, your English is very good. The two of you have no accent at all.”
“We were both raised in America. I will act as the translator even though Celine, who you met downstairs could do it as well. Now let’s head in with you and your fiancé.”
Walking to the door. You turned the handle and found a man standing next to a table. Sejeong's hand began to tremble once more as you finally were face to face with the man that would join the two of you for life.
“Accueillir. Est-ce que vous êtes le couple que je vais épouser?”
Michelle then walked forward and spoke.
“He said, " Welcome. Are the two of you the couple I will marry? His name is Pierre Blanc.
“Ah tell him yes. We thank him for taking the time out of his day to do this for us.”
Michelle then translated back what you said. The mayor then replied.
“Bien. Les gens ne se marient plus à Paris.”
“He said “Well. People have not been getting married in Paris anymore.”
“Yeah, Celine mentioned something like that. Why?”
“Ah well. This Generation doesn’t seem to want to go with the old-school traditions. Most couples seem to want to just keep things casual now.”
“Well I understand those thoughts that people had but we have both been suckers for old romance stories.”
Looking at Sejeong, you saw a large smile on her face as she nodded at your statement. Soon the rest of the people in the room began to grab things as you continued to look at her.
“Sorry, you can't participate much in all these conversations.”
“Eh, it’s ok. I understand what you guys are saying. Feels like you are translating for work as always. All I need to know is two words. I do.”
“Sorry to interrupt but we are almost ready just fill out some of this paperwork and we can start. For the ceremony, He will give a bit of a speech and then ask you the question. I will be translating it all.”
Filling out the paperwork given, you both handed it to Michelle and gave it to the Mayor. The two of you stood in front of the Mayor. The speech he gave was on the long side but each sentence just somehow made you happier. Finally, the time the two of you were waiting for came.
“Maintenant. Dongyul, Sejeong. le temps est venu. puis-je confirmer que vous êtes tous les deux ici de votre propre gré?”
“He said “Now. Dongyul, Sejeong. the time has come. Can I confirm you are both here of your own will?”
“Yes, I am here of my own free will.”
With a bit of a struggle, Sejeong replied.
“Yes me here want.”
“Some chuckles left everyone’s mouths as they heard your fiancé’s English.
“Merci d'avoir confirmé. Nous le faisons avec tous les étrangers. Le mariage est quelque chose qui peut être compliqué parfois, mais toujours une belle chose. Je pense que mon discours a pris beaucoup de temps, alors allons-y.”
Looking at Michelle you waited for her translation.
“Thank you for confirming. We do this with all foreigners. Marriage is something that can be complicated at times but is still a beautiful thing. I think my speech took up a lot of time so let’s get to it.”
Looking back at the mayor he began to speak once more.
“Dongyul. Prends-tu Sejeong pour femme ? Aimer et tenir pour le reste de votre vie, à travers la maladie et en bonne santé ? Les moments faciles et les plus difficiles?”
“Dongyul. Do you take Sejeong to be your wife? To love and to hold for the rest of your life, through sickness and in health? the easy times and the hard ones?”
“I do.”
With a smile, The mayor now turned to Sejeong.
“Sejeong. Prenez-vous Dongyul pour mari ? Aimer et tenir pour le reste de votre vie, à travers la maladie et en bonne santé ? Les moments faciles et les plus difficiles?
“Sejeong. Do you take Dongyul to be your husband? To love and to hold for the rest of your life, through sickness and in health? The easy times and the hard ones?”
“I do.”
“Très bien alors. Je vais sauter le reste de mon discours puisque je vous ai déjà ennuyé tous les deux. Pourriez-vous tous les deux signer votre certificat de mariage?”
“Very well then. I will skip through the rest of my speech since I bored you both already. Could the two of you please sign on your marriage certificate?
Stepping forward, the two of you were handed pens by Celine and reached down to the certificate. Signing your name on one line, Sejeong did the same and placed her own on the table.
“Now me and Celine will sign as the witnesses to your marriage.”
The two pens that were used by you and Sejeong were picked up by Celine and Michelle and quickly put to use signing on the paper. Once done, the entire room began to clap suddenly, scaring both you and Sejeong.
“Félicitations. Vous êtes maintenant mari et femme. Vous pouvez embrasser la mariée.”
“He said, “Congratulations. You are now Husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Hearing those words made your heart race as the ceremony was now over. The mayor skipped over a lot of other stuff and just married the two after his long speech. Without hesitation, your hands went to your wife’s cheeks as you pulled her in for a deep kiss. The two of you kissed for a few seconds until you pulled back.
Pulling out the small box you grabbed earlier from your room. You flipped the lid open and showed her the wedding bands inside. Pulling out her box, Sejeong showed you the engagement ring you bought her a year ago. She couldn’t wear it publicly but always showed it to her closest friends. The small diamond stone in the center was just perfect according to your wife. Now she could proudly wear it as well as the band once everyone knows she was married.
Taking out her ring. Sejeong handed it to you to put on her. Lining it up with her ring finger, you pushed it forward as the circular accessory fit just perfectly around her appendage. Now that the engagement right was on, you proceeded to push the wedding band above the engagement ring. Just as with the previous accessory, it fit perfectly ok her finger.
Grabbing your wedding band, Your beloved wife did the same thing and pushed the ring around your finger. It’s official, you were her husband and she was your wife.
Giving your thanks to all of the parties involved, the two of you began to run out of the office and to the staircase. Despite taking the elevator before, your hand pulled Sejeong down the stairs visiting each floor before reaching the lobby.
As you got closer to the door, your mind told you to do something a bit stupid. With your left hand on the door, you looked back and yelled.
“I JUST MARRIED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD. HER NAME IS KIM SEJEONG SO BACK OFF IF YOU HEAR THAT NAME!”
“Dongyul!”
Pressing on the door, you pulled Sejeong out of the building and continued to run, hearing the laughter from your betrothed. Once a bit of a distance from the town hall, you stopped running and looked at your new wife.
“So what’s the plan? Dinner? A walk?”
A smile filled Sejeong’s face as She raised her hand. From the corner of your eyes, you saw a taxi pull up next to both of you and stop. The black vehicle had its doors pinned by you, welcoming Sejeong inside.
Once the two of you were inside, your wife spoke up to the driver, directing him back to the hotel. As the Four wheels of the car began to spin, you turned towards Sejeong and gave her a confused look.
“Let’s just go back. Ignore him. Kiss me.”
Without hesitation, your hands grabbed Your wife’s face and pulled her toward your lips. No matter how many times you kissed her, it always felt like the first time with how your heart fluttered. Pushing your tongue forward, the two of you fought for dominance over who would lead. As your hands began to move from her face, a cough caught your attention from the front of the cab.
“No kiss!”
The older man seemed very angry at the action taking place in the back of his vehicle. All you could assume was that the old man had seen plenty of nasty things in there and wasn’t about to see another one take place.
“Sorry.”
A small giggle left the both of you as the man rolled his eyes. The drive continued in silence until you saw the familiar white outline of the hotel. Arriving at the entrance, you pulled out some cash and handed it to the driver. Angrily he took the cash and pointed at the door, telling you both to exit.
A bellboy at the time opened the cab door and welcomed you both outside. Going to the entrance, you and Sejeong walked hand in hand to the elevator. The entire staff continued to give you happy looks as they saw you both walk in a brand new couple. Well, newlywed couple.
After the short trek, you arrived at the door of your hotel room. Scanning the keycard, the two of you entered and arrived in the living room.
“So, my dear wife. Why did we return to our room? We still have plenty of the city to explore.”
“Well, I think in honor of our wedding day, we should keep things simple as well as revisit a memory. Do you remember our first date?”
“Of course I do. It was your first trip to Japan in 2017. The rest of your members went to sleep but we both stayed up in my room having room service and watching a movie. I was so scared of confessing that day but it turned out you felt the same.”
“Well, that’s what we will do. Let’s order room service and just watch a movie. We don’t need anything fancy to commemorate today. Well, anything else.”
“Then I’ll order some food, you put something on to watch.”
With a nod, Sejeong went and turned on the tv while you picked up the phone. After ordering various foods, you made your way to the couch and sat next to your beloved.
“I connected my phone to the tv. I didn’t manage to see last week's episode of Amazing Saturday if you don’t mind.”
“Anything you want my dear wife.”
Taking off your shoes, you laid down and pulled Sejeong on top of you. The idol stayed on top of you as her head laid on your chest. A couple of minutes went by as Sejong spoke up.
“Taeyeon Sunbae is so pretty. Do you think she has a partner?”
“Why? You want to divorce me for her already?”
“If she’s interested I wouldn't say no.”
With a laugh, you brought your head down and kissed her on the forehead. A few minutes went by as you both played along with the game the cast members were playing that episode. A sudden knock got the attention of both of you away from the tv. Pausing the episode, you both stood up and made your way to the exit.
As the wooden door opened, you saw a man with a pushcart standing there with your food. Welcoming the man inside, he proceeded to push the cart into the room. Once he arrived at the kitchen, you stopped moving the cart and gave him both a quick nod. Handing him a bit of cash, the man thanked you both and made his way out of the room.
Grabbing a few plates, you both brought the food into the living room and placed it on the table. You had a nice steak dish with Demi glazed vegetables. Sejeong had grilled salmon with stir-fried vegetables on the side. Without saying anything, the two of you dug into your meals and shared the different plates of food. As soon as one was done, you got up and went for the next in the kitchen.
After a bit, The two of you felt the after-effects of stuffing down 3 plates of food. At this point, an older episode of Amazing Saturday started playing as you both were done eating. Despite this being your wedding day, it almost felt like just a normal date.
“Dongie. Can you believe it? We’re married. I never thought this day would come.”
“We managed to keep our relationship hidden for six years now. Of course, we were ready for the next step. The only woman I want in my life is you. Screw the repercussions.”
“God I love you. Today has honestly felt like a romance movie or a dream. I don’t want to wake up if it is one.”
“This isn’t a dream. Do my lips not feel real?”
Pulling Sejeong a bit closer, you gave her lips a few quick pecks which made her smile.
“Mhmm, I might need a little more convincing this isn’t a dream.”
“How about this?”
From her lips, you began to give her cheek a few small kisses and then moved down to her neck. The constant pecks on her collar caused the idol to begin to moan out loud. With your arms, you quickly picked up your wife and began to stumble around the room. After a few small bumps, your bodies arrived in the bedroom and got next to the mattress.
Placing Sejeong down, you both pulled away from each other and stared at each other in a state of lust. No words needed to be said as you both tore each other's clothes off in a matter of seconds. As you saw the nude body of your wife, your cock began to twitch from the marvelous sight.
With a smirk on her face, Sejeong dropped to her knees and took hold of your dick. As her warm hands began to stroke your shaft, you felt her left hand wrap around your balls and play with them.
“Wow. They feel so full. Have you been waiting for our wedding night?”
“F-Fuck yes. We didn’t have time with your schedule.”
“Well. We have all night now.”
Your whole body began to shiver as Sejeong’s tongue began to move up your length. The small movements from her tongue made you anticipate what was to come. As your wife’s tongue reached the top, her lips suddenly wrapped around your tip and began to give it small sucks. As a moan left your mouth, Sejeong smirked at your response.
With each suck, your wife increased the intensity of the action. Your back hit the wall Sejeong began to move her head down on your length. Placing your hand on her head, you began to move Sejeong further down on your cock with each bob. As your beloved’s eyes met with your own, she gave you a sign to be tougher.
With a thrust, your length began to reach the back of Sejeong’s throat. Small noises left her mouth as you continued your thrusts in her mouth. Both of your wife’s hands grabbed your legs as she began to move them even farther than before. With the next thrust, Sejeong held her throat down on your length. The constricting feeling of her mouth was something that you loved.
After a few seconds, your partner pulled her head back and removed her mouth from your cock.
“Fuck Sejeong. How do you get better at this each time?”
“Practice makes perfect, but I think we should cover our bases.”
Raising her upper body, Sejeong pushed her breast together and wrapped your length in between them. Her soft skin blessed your length as Sejeong began to just move them around. With the help of the water, Your wife began to move up and down on your length.
Your wife’s tits weren’t the biggest out there but they were plenty big for a tit fuck. Your hips moved and tandem with your girl as she looked up at you again. As her hands stopped squeezing her breast she immediately grabbed some soap and rubbed it all over her chest. Going back, Sejeong smooshed your length in between her lathered tits. The soap helped the speed at which you could move your cock in between.
“Look at you, thrusting harder. What you can’t wait to cum?”
“Fuck yes, Sejeong. Please help me cum.”
“I’d hate for you to cum before the main event.”
As Sejeong began to slow her breast movement down, you began to give her a pleading look that made her smile.
“Ok. If you want to cum then cum in my mouth.”
Moving her chest away, your wife wrapped her lips around your tip once more and sucked on it. With each suck, Sejeong flicked her tongue on the end of your tip. She knew this was your weak spot. As groans began to leave your mouth, your girl gave one final flick to your tip causing you to cum. Shot after shot of your seed filled her mouth.
You weren’t sure how much time had passed after a bit But Sejeong was still sucking on your cock. Being too much, you pulled your wife off your cock and just breathed heavily. A chuckle left Sejeong’s mouth as she washed the remaining soap off her body. Once clean, your beloved turned off the water and opened the shower door. Wrapping her body in a towel she then faced you and signaled you with her finger to follow her.
Walking backward, Sejeong went into the room as you grabbed a towel and dried yourself off quickly. Once in the room, your spouse was laying on top of the bed with the towel thrown to the side.
“You got to cum early so you better return the favor. Come eat my pussy.”
Approaching your beloved, you immediately dropped to your knees and got a bit closer. The smell of lavender filled your nose as you put your lips on her thighs. With the small kisses you gave her legs, your head began moving further up.
Finally, near her entrance, your hands placed themselves on her legs and kept them wide open. The glistening look from her pussy enticed you more than you could control yourself. Just as Sejeong got ready to speak, your lips gave her pussy a small kiss.
“Come on sweetie. Don’t tease me.”
“Fine then.”
With a newfound fire in your belly, you stretched your mouth wide open and gave her lips a long lick. Pushing them open, your tongue began to move into her snatch and move all around. The moans that left your wife's mouth were music to your ears. Unwrapping your arms from her legs, you brought your hand to her pussy and pushed 2 fingers in.
Thirsting your fingers in and out, Sejeong began to moan louder as well and tense her legs a bit. Each movement of your hand was accompanied by a rapid flick of your tongue. With her pussy spread open, you eventually found her clit and moved your tongue on top of it. Your flicks started on her small nub, causing Sejeong to close her legs around your head.
“Fuck. That’s right. Keep eating my pussy. Eat your wife’s pussy.”
Somehow you found the muscle strength in your tongue and hand to increase your speed even further. With each squeeze around your head, your beloved began to jolt around. Soon Sejeong’s yells filled the room as you made one final attack on her clit.
Feeling her thighs crush your head, a rush of fluids hit your mouth as your wife finally came. Drinking all you could, your hand continued to move in and out of her snatch, overstimulating your girl. Pushing herself away from you, Sejeong continued to pant for air. Getting up from the floor, you laid yourself down next to her and gave her neck small kisses. A laugh left her mouth as she turned towards you and kissed your lips.
“Fuck that tongue of yours works wonders.”
“Probably the reason you decide to lock me down.”
With another laugh, Sejeong pulled you in for another kiss. Pushing your tongue forward, the two of you fought for dominance until your wife mounted you. Deciding to play along, your wife pushed her tongue into your mouth and began to move it all around. Moving a hand down, Sejeong’s hand took hold of your shaft and lined it up with her slit. With a lift of her hips, Sejong filled herself with your rod.
A grunt left your mouth as your wife moaned. Moving her hips in a circular motion, Sejong began to grind on your cock, filling the two of you with pleasure. Moving your hands down to her hips, you began to help Sejeong with her movements as your eyes basked in the sight of her breasts.
“Come on dear. Suck on my tits. These are all yours.”
With that invitation, your mouth went to her right breast and wrapped her erect nipple In your mouth. Starting to suck on her breast, Sejeong’s moans began to increase. The grinding from your wife’s hips increased as her slick began to leak down her legs.
“Fuck. H-How am I going to cum already again?”
You weren’t about to question it as you began to pick your beloved's body up and slam her down on your cock. The thrusts into her cunt mixed with the grinding and sucking on her nipple began to overwhelm Sejeong.
“J-Just a little more. Please, Sweetie.”
You weren’t about to disappoint your wife, so pulling the two of your flat on the bed, you began to trust your cock into her snatch and move as fast as you could. Despite not being able to grind anymore, your constant filling of her pussy pleasured your wife just as much. Raising one hand, you quickly gave her left breast a slap which caused Sejeong to scream.
Continuing the actions, your wife moaned louder and louder until you gave her tit a final slap. This helps your wife reach her peak and let her juices all over the bed. You already played with Sejeong before, so you stopped your thrusts and laid your wife on your chest. The act which the two of you were doing could be seen as nasty but between newlyweds, it was almost beautiful.
Hoping off your dick, Sejeong looked at you and smirked.
“You get to cum now. How do you want me, dear husband?”
Flipping your woman on her back, you split her legs open once more and put your length near her folds.
“I want to look into my wife’s eyes while I continue to fuck her.”
A smile filled her face as she got ready. Pushing in, your length was quickly enveloped by the warmth that was Sejeong’s snatch. Moving your hips slowly, your rod exited and entered your wife. The small thrusts you were giving Your beloved were interrupted by a sudden smack to your ass.
A giggle came from Sejeong as she began to pull you down closer. As her mouth got near your ear, she began to speak.
“I told you to fuck me so you can cum. So don’t give me some little shove into me. Shove that cock deep into my walls.”
With a hand on each side of her waist, you raised the strength and speed at which you fucked her. Back and forth your dick went in and out of her tunnel. Raising her upper body, Sejeong pulled you in for a kiss, battling for control once more. Despite surrendering before, you were now in control.
Your tongue pushed hers back and swirled all around her mouth. Despite losing the battle with her mouth, Sejeong was happy and began to match your thrusts. As your rod exited her pussy, your wife pulled back and slammed down hard as you entered her once more.
Having been fucking your wife for a little bit now, your cock was already aching for release. Sejeong must have noticed this as she gave you a smirk. A constricting feeling quickly enveloped your length as she tensed the muscles in her snatch. Continuing this action, your peak got closer and closer until you knew you would explode. You need to pull out.
“S-Sejeong. I’m gonna cum.”
“Well then. Here’s your wedding gift.”
With her legs, Sejeong wrapped them around your waist and surprised you.
“Cum in your wife. Give her a nice big creampie
You knew Sejeong wasn’t on birth control but your human instincts took over as you gave one final thrust into Sejeong. Your cock quickly began to throb inside your beloved and fill her open womb with your seed. This was your first time cuming in Sejeong, and it was the best feeling ever.
After a few seconds, your cock stopped shooting your loads in her. Dropping down on top of Sejeong, you finally took this chance to relax after your sex session with Sejeong. Laying there with your wife, you finally were hit with it all. You’re married to Kim Sejeong and she was yours forever now.
With a kiss, you both propped yourselves up and looked at each other.
“I can’t believe this happened. I’m married to the greatest man on earth.”
“And I married one of the hottest girls in South Korea.”
A smack to the back of the head made you laugh as you both just thought about everything.
“God. I might lose my job huh.”
“No, you won’t. We got a few weeks to figure out what we are going to say. Let’s just enjoy our trip.”
A peck on the lips distracted you as your wife then stood up. Grabbing a bottle of champagne that was in the corner, Sejeong walked towards the couch and opened it. Your wife then surprised you as she poured some champagne on her chest and signaled you to come over.
It was going to be a long night.
Six weeks passed and you found yourself in the jellyfish conference room. At your side, Sejeong was holding your hand that was shaking. As the door opened, the two of you stood up and bowed toward the executives. As they each took a seat, the two of you stood standing until the CEO spoke up.
“Ok, so we are here. What was so urgent you needed to tell everyone in the company?”
“Well, Sir. Sejeong and I would like to inform the company that we are in a relationship.”
The silence was nerve-wracking as they just stared at you. A laugh from the CEO filled the room as he shook his head no.
“That is not permitted. Consider yourself fired and end it.”
Before you could get another word out, Sejeong spoke first.
“I’m afraid that’s not possible as Dongyul and myself are married. Here is a copy of the marriage certificate.”
The man’s laughter left as he stood up and walked over angrily. Grabbing the paper the man looked it over and then stared at the two of you.
“When the fuck did this happen?”
“In Paris sir. We love each other and decided we want to spend our lives with each other.”
The room felt tense as the need just hit everyone.
“I also have something else to say. Dongyul I was hiding this but I want to tell you I’m pregnant.”
The old man in front of you nearly fainted hearing this final part of the news. You immediately took Sejeong into your arms and picked her up. As you spun her around you were quickly reminded where you were and stopped.
“Dongyul will stay as my manager. I will not leave my husband and I will stay happy with my new family on the way. Let’s face it, I’m the money maker for this company and I will leave if you try anything in my relationship.”
The executives all agreed on the spot as the CEO just sat down defeated. They all knew she was the money maker and weren’t going to argue.
With a final nod of approval from the CEO, the two of you ran out of the room and got into the closest elevator. Taking her back into your arms, you have Sejeong a kiss and placed your hand on her stomach.
“So we are going to get a little one?”
“Yeah. Sorry to spring that on you but I figured that would be the best way for you to keep your job.”
“I don’t care. I’m just happy you’re mine forever.”
Kissing her once more, a sudden ding brought you back to your senses. The doors opened on some empty floor and your wife stepped off the elevator.
“You gonna stay there or are you gonna come fuck me in the closest room.”
You didn’t have to be told twice. This was your life now. Married to the woman of your dreams with a little one on the way. It was perfect.
A/N 2- Not my best work in the smut but I wanted to post something since its been a while. Thank you for reading.

I did a live transcription of the Dragon Age: the Veilguard dev Q&A session today.
UPDATE/EDIT: I made a second pass of this and cleaned it up into a full/complete transcript.
Q: If you could belong to any of the main factions, which would you choose?
Corinne: Listen Katie, you say softball but this is hard. I'm gonna cheat and I’m gonna give you two. So for fashion, the Antivan Crows all day long. their threads, you're gonna love it. For vibes though, the ones that capture my vibe, Mournwatch. Gimme those necromancers.
John: Those are good answers. I have one for fashion and for just general faction that I’d like to be a part of. Veil jumpers - who doesn't like a nice walk in the forest, you know, even if that forest is filled with horrifying monsters and terrifying anomalies, but uh, yeah.
Matt: For me it’s definitely the Lords of Fortune. I’ve had a chance to try out a bunch of them, and I think I’ve finally settled on them, and I think it’s just because pirate barbarian is just such a great combination of elements. Treasure hunting, plus beaches and palm trees and all that stuff, it’s a really good mix, so that’s kind of my default.
Q: I’ve seen a lot of talk about only having two companions in your party instead of three for this game. What is the reasoning this and will we get the same companion conversations and banter as seen in the previous Dragon Age Games??
Corinne: Such a good question. Thank you to whoever submitted this one. I'll start and then turn it over to John Epler. As you saw in the gameplay reveal, this is a much more intimate experience. We pulled the camera in. For those that aren't aware, the reason why is we want you to feel like you actually are in this world, like you’re walking these the city streets of Minrathous, you’re looking up at the buildings all around you. You're a part of this place. It's much more intimate, and we believe as the narrative unfolds that this creates a lot more immersion. Now how this relates to the companions is in doing this, we went back and forth on it a lot, but we actually found that having two companions allows them more visibility and presence. We've talked about the incredible depth and focus we’ve put on fleshing out these companions, they're very fully realized, so here you really get to see them more clearly, you get to see them shine. When you see Lace Harding jump into the air and release a volley of arrows, you can only get that because of this more intimate view. So I love the spotlight that’s been put on them. But I think in addition to the banter, one of the things people are wondering about is, ok but what about gameplay. Again, this has come about from our testing, working with the internal team and also our lovely our council of players. We just found that in the combat system, when you're planning your strategies, two felt like the right number to manage. Keep in mind, Rook has a lot of different types of actions: abilities, individual attacks that are more fleshed out than ever before. Timing and positioning matter a lot, so this really felt like the right balance. The number of inputs and actions we’re asking you as a player to take, including directing your companions, is higher than ever before. And I will also say that I engage with the companions, I actively control what they're doing more than I ever have before in any of the other three games. But John, I’ll toss it over to you for the banter.
John: So banter, honestly I don't think you could stop the writers from writing banters. I will say for myself, it's one of the more light but fun things to do. You get to write little stories, little arcs between the characters, and Veilguard is no different. Banter is still absolutely a core part of it. We've got global banter, you know the general stuff that you get in all spaces, as well as mission specific stuff. But yeah. It's definitely still a big thing, if anything it's the most we've ever done for pairings of companions. Beyond that, we’ve also made sure—and I mean, I’ve been on Dragon Age for a while, and I know there’s been an issue, you know, things like, “well, I don’t wanna miss this banter.” So we've even added stuff like interruptable and resumable banter as well, just to make sure that—because again, it’s a core part of the experience. Everyone loves hearing these companions talk to each other. Everyone loves hearing these little stories and relationships develop over the course of the game, and as mentioned before, companions are the heart of this experience. So we still have it, if anything like I said, you could not stop the writers from doing it, even if you tried.
Corinne: Well John, listening to you speak, one thing that comes to mind, maybe people are wondering, with two companions in the field, do I get less interaction? Like do I get a scene with my companions interacting with a broader group more often? And the way you'll gather them around the kitchen table, there's just so many of those moments where they're all interacting with each other. Those are some of my favorite parts.
John: Yeah, and that’s a good callout, because I think the other side of it is, we aren’t talking too much about your home, but we also wanna make sure that they feel like they have relationships and a life outside of just the times you take a certain pair of companions out on the field, so we made sure that they have interactions there as well.
Q: How customizable is the backstory of Rook? Will we get to determine their past in the character creator?
John: Absolutely. So Rook has six different backgrounds that you can choose from. Each  one is tied to one of the major factions in the Veilguard, and each one sets out who Rook was before they were recruited by Varric. While that sets up the broad events, as you go through the game and have conversations either with members of your faction, other characters, you can define not just what those events were but what they meant to you – what was your motivation, what was the kind of person you are as you build up Rook, because again, we wanna make sure that roleplaying is at the heart of this experience, and taking Rook, giving them a background in the world but letting you decide what that means and what that says about you is also a big part of it. And again, there are six different factions in this game. Two which anyone who’s played Dragon Age for a while would remember, you’ve got the Gray Wardens and Antivan Crows. We also have, in addition to them, four new ones because we’re in Northern Thedas. We’ve got the Veil Jumpers, Mournwatch, Shadow Dragons, and Lords of Fortune. A lot of different options, a lot of different backgrounds, and a lot of opportunities to define who your Rook was and who they are now.
Q: Will crafting return and has it been improved since Inquisition?
Corinne: Will crafting return? You can absolutely improve and customize your gear, yes. That is a big part of RPG progression, so yes you can improve and customize it. I will say though, it's different this time around, and it does get into spoiler territory so I'm gonna be a little cagey about it, but there might be a mysterious entity that assists you with that that will be an important part of the narrative.
Q: Can we kiss or romance Manfred the skeleton?
John: I would say, not that skeleton, but we're not saying no skeletons.
Q: What were some of the development considerations that you had to take into account to ensure this game flows & functions with prior games & dragon age keep, if keep is being utilized?
Corinne: We did an interview with IGN that goes into some of the details there. To summarize, we have taken a different approach on how you import your decisions this time around. It's now fully integrated into the character creator and serves a dual purpose, to be honest. It’s not called this in game, but I playfully think of it as "last time on dragon age". When I talk about its dual purpose, it's been 10 years since the last dragon age game release, so it serves as a refresher on critical events as well as allowing you to remake those decisions that are critical to you. The thing I love about it is it's very highly visual, it uses the familiar tarot card aesthetic, so it's actually a very visual and playful experience as you go through it. It is very much important to us that it's built into the client, though. You can play this game entirely offline, no connection, you don’t have to link to your EA accounts. That's been a really big request, so the refresher plus make those decisions in client, I think we're all pretty happy about that. I don't wanna spoil anything by revealing what decisions you can import. Y'all don't want the spoilers. But it's been a really interesting creative intersection for us. Because on the one hand, this is a whole new adventure. You're in northern thedas, these locations you've literally never been to before, so that affects what will matter and what we’re not using this time around as far as decisions. But obviously there’s some very very clear connections to existing characters. It’s no secret that the Inquisitor, our dear Inky, is gonna show up, so that's a factor.
Q: Will this next game be an open world game or is it just confined to Tevinter?
John: Yeah, so you are in northern Thedas, but the game only begins in Minrathous. It doesn't stay there. I think one of the most exciting things for me, and again, I don’t wanna get into too much spoiler detail, but getting to go to and work with the art team, the narrative, the design team to build out these locations we've talked about, places that character have referred to as where they’ve come from, places that characters obviously in previous games have hailed from, has been absolutely exciting. So you do start in Tevinter, you do start in Minrathous, but again that’s not the entire game by any stretch.
Corinne: And the first half of it is, is it an open world game? We've gone back to what we believe delivers the best, most curated, intense narratives. So this is a hand crafted experience, it's mission based. Now these locations can open up, you can go back, solve mysteries, do some really great side content - not fetch quests, not grind quests, some really great side content. But I wanna be clear, it's a really curated, hand crafted experience.
John: Just to bounce off of that very quickly, the most important thing for us and what Corinne was saying about hand crafted, obviously we’ve talked about how characters, story, narrative are critical to us, and this has allowed us to build those experiences in a way that emphasized that really well while still tying it into the story threads and story beats.
Q: Will the companions have unique specializations like DA2 or the same as player?
Corinne: I think the best way for me to describe this is that yes, our companions will have abilities that are truly unique to them, but also the companions do fall into the archetypes of mage, rogue, and warrior. For instance, you might be surprised to hear, because she has a bow, but Bellara is in fact a mage, and I love that. Some of the abilities, the bulk of the abilities of the companions, are based on their own unique personalities. Neve is the only mage that is an ice mage, so you get distinct abilities for her. But because she's a mage, she does have access to abilities that all mages share, like Time Slow. We really like the balance there. It’s a good mix of representing their archetype, their class, and also their distinct specialization or personality or whatever you wanna call it.
John: Yeah actually, I would say the word personality is a great one, because all of these characters exist, have a story, have a history of how they became who they were, and part of that was finding that intersection between narrative and gameplay and making sure that again, we serve the needs of gameplay, but also allow these characters to exist as their own people, not just in conversation but out of conversations as well.
Corinne: I would also say that as part of that core mage kit, healing spells are there. So if your mages, you wanna make ‘em a healer, yeah.
Q: Will the Veilguard have tactical combat still?
Corinne: Yes. Combat gets quite tactical. Obviously this is an evolution of the combat system. I talked about immersion, wanting to put you in the world like you’re actually living and existing in it, but it is very tactical and I will say we have a robust difficulty system. The tactics are increasingly important the higher difficulty that you go. So if you’re showing up for a highly tactical experience, I would crank that difficulty in particular. But I wanna make sure I’m super clear in my answer. You saw the gameplay reveal. Our pause time tactical mode is not overhead. It stays close to Rook. It does allow you to cycle between targets in and out of combat, there’s a reason for that. As the game progresses, you didn’t see this in that opening hour of the game, but it will display strategic information on the enemies, so what are their vulnerabilities, what are their elemental weaknesses, their enhancements, what are they resistant to, so your type of abilities, leaning into elemental gameplay matters a lot.
I would also say, this is a long answer because it’s such a great question, tactical decision making also takes the form, I would say this is front and center, of coordinating your ability usage between Rook and your companions to create synergies and or really devastating, we call them detonation combos. So let me give you a couple of examples, because it can be really hard to visualize, so hopefully this helps. One of the tactics that I personally enjoy in my own builds, I just recently played as a veil ranger, I love it, it’s one of my favorites. if I'm fighting fade touched enemies in Artlathan, I like to use Bellara's galvanized tear to pull enemies together, it’s like a gravity well. You then Slow Time with Neve – Slow Time affects the world around you, but it does not affect you, so you clump them up, you slow time -- and then with Rook I come in and do a devastating AOE or damage over time spell or ability. And it’s even better if it's a lightning based ability, because the fade touched in Arlathan are vulnerable to that. So there’s so many layers of coordination and strategies and tactics. We did talk about the devastating detonation combos, that's one of my favorite features, because that’s when you’re really leaning into explicit teamwork between your companions and Rook or the companions together. When I build out my team and I'm going into a mission, I try to ensure that I have at least a couple possible synergies, detonation combo synergies, between my team. It might be between Harding and Neve, Neve and me, or both. So here, I'd go into battle, pause time, open the ability wheel, get information on the enemy – and the wheel will actually tell you that there is a synergy combo, you  might have seen a screenshot that says “combo available” – it will remind you of synergies between companions, you can queue both of those abilities up at the same time, close out of the pause time menu, they’ll both execute, both abilities will happen. Then the detonation AOE happens, applies debuffs to all the enemies in a radius of it. It's so satisfying. I can’t wait for yall to see it, but the interesting thing is that too is a tactical choice. I’m choosing to use my companions to do that, and that means I’m not using them to heal me, or to give me that defense bonus, or to knock an enemy off a ledge, so it’s about the opportunity costs. I could spend the rest of the session talking about this, apologies for being long winded, but this is one of my favorite parts of the game.
Q: Can you choose rook's pronouns? If yes, is being non-binary an option? How detailed is the character creator?
Corinne: Well yeah you can select your pronouns. Absolutely. You can actually select your pronouns and your gender, because those are related concepts, but they’re not actually the exact same thing. Yeah, you can be non-binary, we have he/him, she/her, they/them. Yes. Emphatic yes. How detailed is the character creator? Oh my goodness, yall. Very. I don't wanna give away too much just yet but it's very very deep. It has been revealed, it’s out there in a couple articles about the focus on hair, the focus on skin tones that are done respectfully, full body customization, hell yeah, we love to see it. But we’re gonna come back, we’re gonna show you a lot more on character creator, but we wanna make sure we have the time and space to do that.
Q: Will there be a photo mode in game?
Corinne: That is something we’re actively looking into, we know there’s a ton of interest, so stay tuned on that one, but we are very much looking into it.
John: I can add too, that is a feature that we like, we like the idea of, and it’s not just player facing, but internally it’s a really helpful thing to have that as we’re building things out, so we’ll let you know.
Corinne: Yes, yeah, absolutely. We are as geeked on that possibility as you all are.
Q: A lot of people were asking about abilities. Are we going to be limited in how many abilities we can pick from the wheel?
Corinne: Ability wheel does have a capacity. You have to choose which three abilities you wanna bring for Rook, which three for  a companion, and which three for another companion. What I like about this is there is kind of an emergent gameplay depending on who you and your companions are coming into a mission with. Now the reason for that is it actually creates a really interesting balance between strategizing, having to do that strategy about your combat kit before the mission, and then the tactical decisions once you're in the field deciding what to do. I want to clear one thing up, while there are three ability slots for Rook, there's so much more than that - other actions that you can perform directly from the wheel like you’ll have an ultimate ability associated with your class or your specialization, so there’s variants there. There’s a type of items you can get that function like abilities, they’re typically like buffs and enhancements, in the form of runes, so you’ll control that for Rook and/or the team from the wheel. You may have also seen that you can direct which targets your companions can focus on, but what you might not know is that a lot of the companion gear really synergizes with that directing with your companions. When you issue those commands, that too will proc depending on the gear they have equipped, really interesting and strategic effects. They can be more ability like, more like proc’d effects, there’s just so much from the wheel that once you get in and see everything working together, becomes more and more apparent.
Q: Will fireball and cone of cold be back as spells in Dragon Age: the Veilguard?
Corinne: All these combat questions, really good. Fireball and Cone of Cold aren't specifically back, however their successors are, frost nova and meteor. These serve the exact same combat role and function as those other abilities. I would also say it gives them quite the glow up. Meteor in particular, so satisfying nuking a group of darkspawn with a well placed meteor. It’s wonderful
Q: What accessibility features are available? Arachnophobia mode? Mod support?
Corinne: Oh my goodness, arachnophobia. I am wicked afraid of spiders too. My partner always laughs at me, I’m just terrified of them. That said, that's one we're going to save for a little bit closer to launch before we’ll go into full details about accessibility features. But I do wanna assure you we have spent a lot of time thinking about this topic, so that you can play the game in a way that really works for you. I'm excited to share that with you when the time is right.
Q: How long is the time skip from Inquisition to the Veilguard?
John: Anyone who's paid attention to Dragon Age, and I can say as somebody who’s been on Dragon Age since Origins, timelines are always a little iffy. They change and they morph over development as we see how longs things are taking, but for Veilguard we were actually pretty consistent from the start that it's been about 10 years since trespasser, as you may or may not have noticed, Varric's become a bit of a silver fox. I’ve seen a lot of comments about that on social media. Yeah, 10 years. Solas's ritual has taken time to set up and you’re kinda coming in at the end of that hunt.
Q: Is Solas still bald?
Matt: Yeah. I mean if you’ve watched the gameplay thing, we can all confirm that Solas is still bald, Solas is still Solas. I really like how Solas has turned out this time around. I will say, here’s a comment on this specific question that’s gonna sound like a non-sequitor, but once you get a chance to play a little bit more, maybe you’ll – In Thedas, ancient elves go bald when they are millenia old, so Solas wasn't always bald. So if you end up seeing what Solas looked like in the past, things might be a little different. Now that said, I’m sure some of you are wondering what happened to Solas’s wig from Tevinter Nights. I’m sure he still has it somewhere, so… It’s his most important possession.
Corinne: Some pride there, huh.
Q: Will we be able to change companions appearances and outfits or are they fixed, similar to Dragon Age 2?
Matt: Dragon Age 2 was, we loved how the followers turned out in that, but it was sad given our constraints that we had to keep them with just one basic outfit. We really tried to make some space for them this time around. They have iconic color palettes and things like that, but they do have a wider range of appearances that you can find for them, some are just cool but then there are some  that are tied to directly to their narrative and just kind of what’s happening in their life.
Q: Will we be seeing or visiting Kal’Sharok?
Matt: What’s been really cool, so in previous games, we’ve kind of alluded to this before, it was a lot of fun to hint at the locations that were off the map, the mysterious places you were not going, and so you could just bring in some props, some characters, a piece of art, things like that. Even Tevinter was only vaguely hinted at and we’d just add drips and bits and pieces, so that stuff was really fun. In the Veilguard we’re actually getting to visit a whole lot of those locations that had only been hinted at for real, so you do actually run around Tevinter and a bunch of the other locations that we’ve revealed. But this also means that we're not completely filling out the map, and that there are new things we can start hinting at and we can start drip feeding. It’s kinda fun, I’d say for what we can show of Kal’Sharok and other locations, there’s more to do.
Q: Will the dialogue wheel/options be similar to Inquisition and Andromeda in the sense that it's more tone based?
John: We have a number of different types of wheels in our game. All the dialogue wheels are based off the same principle, anyone who’s played a dragon age game and remembers what they look like. In Dragon Age: the Veilguard, we have tone wheels which are roleplaying your character picking consistent tone. We also have emotion wheels where you can pick specific emotional reactions, and choice wheels which are, I don’t have a strong emotional or tone tie here, but I do want to make a choice based on what I do. Investigate’s obviously return as well. We want players to understand as much as possible what it is they are going to be picking, we want the choice to be clear even if one of the best things about consequence is making sure that’s not entirely clear.
Q: How extensive are Rook’s dialogue decision trees?
John: Huge. Again, it’s a Dragon Age game. We wanna make sure you have choices, we wanna make sure you can choose your roleplaying, but also choose outcomes of conversations, choose how events unfold. Again it’s a Dragon Age game, we wanna make sure we also react to decisions you’ve made. So for example, you may be talking to a follower who is an elf, and if you yourself are an elf, obviously you'll have a different perspective on events than someone who’s not an elf. Sometimes that means different conversation options, sometimes that’s going to be entirely new dialogue trees, as well as based off decisions you’ve made throughout the game, so again, making sure the game feels like it notices what you’re doing is a huge part of how we’ve written out the dialogue wheel and dialogue trees in this game.
Q: All companions romanceable by all player characters regardless of race and gender?
Corinne: Yeah, yeah. We have talked about this in some of the interviews, I’ve seen a few articles about it, so I'd recommend everyone check out those articles, but let me just give you a quick interview. Each of the seven companions has full romance arcs and they are romanceable by all genders. Absolutely. But something that’s really important to us on the team, and so I just wanna make sure and double down on, that doesn't mean playersexual. If anyone’s unaware of what we mean by that, it doesn’t mean they conform or twist their identities to who you the player are. They won’t suddenly have a preference for men or women based on what you’re playing. Instead they have their own fully fleshed out identities. They are true and authentic to that. So in this game they are all pansexuals, they all have histories and romances, sometimes you’ll hear about preferences and things of that nature. And what I really love is if you don’t pursue a romance with them, they’ll actually build their own romances with each other. So in one of the interviews I talked about Lace Harding and Taash getting together. I give that example because it’s one of my favorites. I’m gonna put a question back to the community though. I’ve heard we’re going with Laash for that ship name? You tell me what is that ship name?
Q: What are the markings on the faces of the elven warden and veil hopper?
John: So there’s quite a few, I think more than we’ve done before, tattoos from various cultures. We're bringing the vallaslin back of course but there's a ton of different options, especially when we’re going into these new regions. Each area has its own kind of visual language for that. We are bringing the vallaslin back and a couple characters have them, but we've customized them a bit. They’re a bit more specific to their personality.
Q: What are you as a developer most proud of and excited for players to experience?
Corinne: I suspect for most of us, myself included, it's the depths and authenticity of the companions journey along with on their arcs, learning about their hardships, what they care about, being by their side. That authenticity is just so good, they all feel like my dear friends. But I have to say, the closest runner up for me has to be the character creator. Has to be. That character creator, the makeup options, the range of sliders... I'm a Qunari fan, so even just the way you customize the horns and combine that with the really great looking hair. Character creator has to be my very close runner up.
Matt: As far as what I can say I’m most proud of on this one, I can speak for the art team, we worked incredible hard to make the story more visible than ever. Games are a visual medium, but sometimes it's easier to do things in text format or written in a codex somewhere or alluded to off screen, but we really leaned into trying to make sure that every design, prop, character, environment, that the effects we’re choosing, all these choices were putting the story on screen so you can see it unfold, and I think having worked on all the dragon age games, I'd say Veilguard represents one of the best attempts at that we’ve made yet.
John: I’m gonna cheat and kind of combine both Corinne’s and Matt’s answers. Honestly the companions for me are the absolute highlight. Just being able to work across all the disciplines, building characters who look and sound and behave in very specific and characterful ways. These are the deepest companion arcs we've ever done, not just on Dragon Age but in BioWare in general. Each companion has their own story arc you can go through, decisions you can make. They really do take center stage. As you play through them, you see the care and love that the team has put into each and every one. I mean, there’s moments in each arc that make you cry, make you angry, make you excited, and the way they integrate into the story as a whole for me is something that’s been really fun. Finding ways to bring these characters together, ways to bring this story, this narrative, of you know, you need to put together a team and stop the end of the world, has been absolutely exciting and thrilling. And again, you see the team's love in every single piece of it. As for what I’m most excited, Dragon Age has been part of my career and part of my life for literally the last decade and a half, I’ve worked on it since Origins, and there's something about the Veilguard that feels an amazing mix of novelty and familiarity, it’s like coming home in a way that I feel is going to be very exciting for people who are existing Dragon Age players, but there’s also so much here that’s just new and exciting for people, new players and old players alike. Going to parts of the world, seeing things we’ve never seen before, and just getting to take this amazing world and series and expand on it and build on it in ways that I’ve just been, honestly an absolute thrill, the best part of my career, and I’ve been in games for 17 years now and this has been the absolute highlight for me, so that’s what I’m excited about.
Corinne: I just wanna yes and that. I so completely agree with you. There’ve been times in companion arcs where even knowing what's going to happen, we work on the game, with some of these decisions, I've had to set down the controller, let out a heavy sigh, and go “oh my god, what am I gonna do here?” The depth of them is wonderful. I do wanna put this out there, when we talk about as a developer what we are most proud of, can we just give a big shout out to the dev team? I am so proud of them. This team has poured their hearts into this. Anyone from BioWare who’s listening in, thank you so much. Y’all are just the best.
Q: Why does Varric have dark hair now?
Matt: He's been adventuring for a while now. His hair is more gray, but he's been in very dark scenes so far, so we’ll see him in some more contexts.
Q: Will the Inquisitor be appearing in the flesh or are we just choosing their major DAI decisions?
Corinne: Yes they will. The Inky does appear. We've know how attached y’all are to the Inquisitor, we’ve seen the love for your OC. Yes, the Inquisitor shows up. We'd already confirmed that a few places, so let me just say you can also customize them and it includes some of our new customization options. Yeah they’re gonna show up and they’re gonna be your Inquisitor.
John: And I think beyond that, the story of Solas and the story of the Inquisitor obviously are tied together as much as any story, so it would have been strange for us not to bring them in for this one. They’re gonna be a part of this story.
Q: Will there be any planned DLCs and transmog armor?
Corinne: Right now our focus is entirely on the quality of the game, it's so important at this stage for us to be all in, all attention on finishing this game and delivering on the quality and the promise of it. So that's all I can really say on it, we're 100% focused on this being the most complete game we can make it. I wanna emphasize, there's not gonna be any microtransactions or battle passes, you don't have to connect online. Our focus is making this the most complete single player we possibly can. Now this was kind of a twofer question. Will there be transmog? Hell yeah. I’m the kind of player that believes fashion is the real endgames. Yeah there’s a transmog system, absolutely. It’s sick.
Q: Will any of the characters be asexual?
Corinne: Such a good question. So, look I'm gonna be really forthcoming with yall and a little bit vulnerable, I'm ace. I'm a gray ace, I don't mind sharing that, I’m kind of public with it. I will say though that none of our companions this time around are explicitly ace. We look at the characters, their motivations, who they are, we always assess is this the right time. This time it wasn't. What I will say for everyone on the ace spectrum on there, I would love to represent an ace relationship sometime in the future when it feels like the most authentic fit for a companion, when we can do it best. And I do see some questions, what do we mean by ace? Asexuality. We often refer to it as the ace spectrum.
Q: Can mage Rook do blood magic? Will blood magic be a skill tree separate from regular magic?
Corinne: OK, this gets a bit spoilery, so let me just say, Rook has some pretty good reasons to avoid blood magic. Rook is not gonna wanna be interested in that. But I will say, the mage skill tree is packed with all kinds of spells, traits, and perks to give you a ton of flexibility in your magic. Gonna go off script just a little bit because I’ve seen “just tell us about the specializations”. I’m not gonna tell you the deets, but there is a necromancer one. There is an elemental one, and there is one that’s actually more of like a combat mage. It’s my favorite.
Q: Can we name the griffon? We also have a griffon emoji in this Discord server.
John: Excellent. So, someone in your party, again, spoilers, may have already named the baby griffon, but don’t worry, Assan is a very good boy.
Corinne: All these griffon emojis, y’all are killing me.
Q: Will we have a camp/home/headquarters that we’ll be able to customize?
Matt: Well this time around, in Inquisition you had Skyhold. In this case you have a headquarters called the Lighthouse. More to be seen on that, but narratively it serves kind of a different purpose, but also the same purpose. As far as customization goes, there are elements of it that change over time and some things you can adjust. I don’t know how much we’re really going into that at the moment. One thing I like about it is that it definitely does start to feel very much like home over time.
Q: We need to know, does pasta and noodles exist in Thedas?
Matt: I’ll take it as a chance just to geek out about worldbuilding. Again, the Veilguard for us is a really kind of dream opportunity to go to places we've only ever heard reference to or we’ve seen in set. In going through the world building process, and trying to build these things out not just as neat things from the IP, but also as, if you’ve read about this stuff, you've got your own version in your head, you’ve imagined what it might be like and you're probably hoping for something spectacular, and our brains are always far better at creating this stuff than any game developer or any artist can really do justice to, so you really have to swing for the fences to make something very satisfying and exciting. That can be everything as big as architecture and landscape and biomes and ecosystems, but it does get into things like art and culture and costume design, and also food. This time around that was one of the many things we did look into to try to catch the character and feel of a place to make it feel believable and lived in. So that’s my really long answer for yeah, I'm sure at least one place does have pasta.
Q: Are we getting a mabari?
Matt: Ooh, that’s a good question. I will say you’re spending most of the game in the north of Thedas. Mabari are not nearly as big of a thing up there, so in this particular instance, no, you will not get a mabari, sadly.
Q: Can we pet the griffon?
John: You, I’m really sorry to have to be the one to tell you—Nah, I’m kidding, yes you can. It's not even just petting the griffon, I've actually hugged the griffon, so that feels like even there a step up.
Matt: There’s lots of opportunities to interact with the griffon.
Corinne: Can we see Assan in chat if we wanna see him in the Lighthouse hanging out? And hey, y’all, this was so important to the team, too. Like this is the team’s like, just huge support for this feature, so props to them.
Q: Will we get to see any of the character creator before the game releases?
Corinne: Yes. Yes you will. You've probably seen we are laying out a roadmap for what we're gonna show and when we’re gonna talk about it. You will see it  as we get a little closer to launch.
Q: Will we be able to play as a qunari dwarf elf or human?
Corinne: hell yeah you will. All 4. And all 4 have that full body customization. I already talked a little bit about, I’ve always loved the qunari, I will say in Dragon Age: Inquisition it was hard to get a good looking qunari hairstyle. So yes you can play as them, you can customize them, the horn options are rad, the hair options are rad. And also related to this, your lineage gives you a lot of really unique dialogue options. So that’s really one aspect of choosing your lineage as well.
John: So actually just to bounce off that, earlier questions about backgrouds. Each lineage, depending on the lineage you choose and the background you choose, there are some specific callouts to, for example, if it’s a Mournwatch, Mournwatch being from Nevarra and mages, if you play as a dwarf, obviously your experiences in that faction is going to be different from, say, a human or an elf, so there are also specific callouts tailored to those combinations and, with the intention of giving each lineage a little flavor as to how they fit into that faction as a whole.
Q: Where is barkspawn and is he ok?
John: Barkspawn is safely gnawing on a bone next to a fireplace somewhere in Ferelden. Don’t worry, he’s fine. You may ask yourself, “but John, it’s been so long.” To which I say, Mabari live exactly as long as they need to.
Q: Will Rook have a set of default name?
John: Yeah, so Rook’s last name is defined based on their faction, again we wanted to tie that into your backstory, but also there's a name generator that can give you a selection of first names, obviously if you wanted to make your own first name, that’s definitely something we support as well. If you’re somebody who maybe has a little more difficulty coming up with a name, so for example you name every single character Bob because that’s the only name you can think of, we also give that opportunity for that generation.
Q: When will the voice acting cast be announced?
John: We worked with a lot of very talented actors on this one. I am super excited to talk about the voice acting cast, we’ll be talking about it more over the summer, we’re not quite ready to announce names yet.
Same answer for collectors editions and preorders, and required PC specs.
Q: Any special musical guests? Tavern songs?
Corinne: Yeah there are tavern songs and a huge credit to the audio team and performance teams, because they’re pretty great. There’s one at a little tavern in Minrathous called the Swan, and the song you hear there might just be my favorite of the tavern songs.
Q: DA2's main theme brought back motifs from DAO main theme. Can we expect DAV to recall more or less of that original thematic material than inquisition?
John: We are not quite ready to talk about music yet in specifics. But in broad strokes I can say that the process for us is always the same. Working with the composer, figuring out themes, figuring out what kinds of elements we want to keep, tying specific elements to maybe specific characters, it's very in depth process and a very collaborative process. We have some fantastic audio people on our team that have done some fantastic work, that have done an amazing job working with composers and with the team as a whole to make sure that again, we said earlier about cohesiveness, making sure that the music feels like a cohesive part of the experience.
Q: When writing the overall story of this game, what themes did you want to have as the prominent focus?
John: Again, it’s interesting. When writing these games, and this has been true on every Dragon Age I’ve been a part of, what you start with and where you end up aren't always necessarily the same. Sometimes you start writing a theme, you realize actually it’s more interesting if you attack it from this angle, or maybe it ends up twisted a little bit. I will say for Dragon Age: the Veilguard, from the beginning one of the biggest themes has been regret. How regret shapes people’s lives, how they deal with their regrets, how maybe people move past regrets. Each of the characters and the story as a whole have elements of these. We wanted to have that thematic, that cohesiveness to the game’s story and the game’s writing.
Q: Can you play a dwarf and does the world react to your race and backstory?
John: Yes, you can play as a dwarf. Yes, the world does react to your race and backstory. And again you’ll have unique dialogues or unique conversations based on that backstory as well as that race.
Corinne: And to give you a little nugget here because I saw it scrolling through real quickly, you have beards. So when I think of dwarves, I think about glorious, fantastic beards. Hell yeah we do.
John: Yeah I can say, as somebody who plays a lot of games, the character creator—I don’t know what magic they did, but the beards, they feel like a beard should feel like, it’s great, they look awesome.
Q: Will our heroes and companions leave us if we go against their wishes?
Corinne: Do y’all just love pain? Do you want us to make you cry? Um... if you go against their wishes and make decisions they don't like, I will tell you, you can piss them off, they might not agree with you, and they will take some time away. That said this is the biggest threat to Thedas we've ever seen, so they will always be willing to defend Thedas, but yeah you can piss them off and they’ll leave for a minute. As it relates to them showing up to defend Thedas, well yeah they will, UNLESS…
John: No spoilers, Corinne. No spoilers.
Corinne: Alright, alright. But they want it!
Q: Did any songs, books, movies, or anything inspire character writing?
John: Art is always a synthesis of your own experiences both in the real world but also the art you consume, the art you pay attention. I don't think that any characters have a direct reference or inspiration, but yeah, they're all inspired by the things we do both in the real world and in the media we consume. And you’re gonna see elements of characters that yeah. The things that we’ve enjoyed show up in these characters. For me it comes down to, writing can be a deeply personal experience, so even if you don't intend for it to be the case, parts of you will show up in the characters. I think that’s true for all the characters in the Veilguard. Sometimes it's exploring things about yourself that you may like or may not like, and sometimes exploring things about characters you like or don't like. So that’s my longwinded way of saying yes, it’s impossible to not have that happen when you’re creating art, but I don’t think there’s one where you can say, “oh this is this character, this is this character.”
Q: What was the thinking process behind making Harding a companion this time around?
John: When we released Inquisition, it was impossible not to see the love that people had for our murderous girl next door dwarf. She has always been a fan favorite obviously. But I think beyond that, it's something that Harding's writer wanted to explore, there was more of a story to tell there and more perspective. And beyond that Harding also has a strong connection to Solas, to Varric, and the events of the last 10 years. So I wouldn’t say it’s always been but I’d say Harding’s probably one of the first ones we settled on as like yes, this is a character we want, and the writer had a story that they wanted to tell with her, so it just made sense.
Matt: You know, actually, to piggy back on that, that’s something I hadn’t even thought about that much and it’s not a huge part of her character, but she tends to be one of the people that have the most insight into who he was.
John: Yeah that’s exactly—that’s a great way of looking at it, too, it also provides you with a little bit of perspective, for players who’ve been around for previous Dragon Age games, but also for new ones, who was Solas? What kind of character was he? Yeah it’s a great, using characters to provide windows into the world is honestly one of my favorite things.
Matt: And when I say was, I just mean in Inquisition.
John: Yes, that’s exactly, yes. Thank you for correcting that.
Q: What approach are you taking to quest and world design in the Veilguard?
John: I think for us it just comes down to relevance and narrative heft. We wanna make sure that each quest provides either a perspective on the world, a perspective on the characters, or it feels immediately and obviously relevant to what you’re doing here. You’re here to save the world. At the end of the day, one of the things that we heard loud and clear was the feedback about how relevant, or in our case not relevant, previous quests have felt, so for Veilguard, we really wanted all quests to feel like something somebody faced with the end of the world would believe was necessary and important. So again, there’s quests of all sorts and sizes, but all of them share that same feeling of, this is the kind of thing that the Veilguard would do. This is the kind of thing that my hero would do. Especially faced with the end of the world.
Corinne: That’s really good, John. That’s so right. I would just again double down on how hand crafted all the quests are. Whether you’re doing the main story or you’re journeying with your companions or you’re out exploring and you encounter a mystery, everything's hand crafted, intentional, we spend a lot of time listening to what yall said, and of course everyone has slightly different tastes, but you're not gonna be gathering shards in the Hinterlands. Everything is built with intention and they’re lovingly handcrafting the experience.
Q: Are there any locations in the game that can only be accessed by making specific story choices?
John: So I don’t wanna get too much into spoilers here, but I will say that locations can fundamentally change based on decisions you make. Some of the parts of the world that you go to, you can have, the choices you make have an impact on how these spaces exist and develop.
Q: Will we be able to control companions in combat?
Corinne: If Rook gets KO'd, the player character gets knocked out, this time around it is time to reload your save, or better yet, the companions have really interesting progression. You can spec them out to be able to revive you, but that’s if you’ve invested in their progression and what they can do. And that said, I mentioned this earlier but I personally spend more time in the nature of this combat system when everything comes together, interacting and directing the companions than I have in any of the other games. So like that’s interactivity between them. Once you play it you’ll see just how engaged the scene is.
Q: Will Solas still occasionally or dramatically speak in iambic pentameter?
John: I actually spent a little bit of time trying to figure out if I wanted to answer this question in iambic pentameter, and then I very quickly gave up. Massive kudos to Patrick who always writes Solas so well. Again, Solas is a returning character. It's the same Solas you know and love or hate depending on who you are. The same writer. So I think this is, the answer is yeah, it's Solas.
Q: Will our decision of who was left in the fade be important?
John: While that decision does not show up—not for the Veilguard, now that said, that doesn’t mean that’s not a decision that won’t ever be important in the future. Not for this one.
Matt: I’m glad to hear you say that, John, because one of my favorite stories was Bob getting stuck in the web in Reboot.
John: That’s a deep cut! The sound of my childhood.
Q: Will we have mounts again?
Matt: No, mounts were, they addressed a need in Inquisition that we don't have in Veilguard, and you’ll see why when you get to play.
Q: How is the side quest design? Will they be mostly story based or will there be a lot of radiant and quests for power like in Inquisition?
John: We talked about this a bit earlier, but they are all hand crafted and story focused. The narrative, the companions, not just the companions but the characters and the world as a whole, are so much at the core of the Veilguard that anything other than handcrafting quests just felt like it would be a disservice to the game we were building.
Corinne: And maybe we can clarify as well, because with power was such a devisive mechanic in Inquisition, there’s no mechanic like that that blocks your progression until you fill a bar. That’s just not a thing in this. You have the autonomy to engage in these quests as you like, there’s no grind out gates before you can progress.
John: That’s right. Again we want to make sure that doing this content feels as natural and part of the logical flow of the story as possible.
Q: Will there be a similar system to war table?
Corinne: We haven't talked much about the player's base, the Lighthouse, and we're gonna save that, but what I will say is that the Lighthouse, your headquarters so to speak, it has its own unique purposes and functions this time. So that's an area that we'll leave for you when we talk more about the Lighthouse and when you have a chance to hop in, you’ll be able to see what those unique purposes are.
Q: If there is dual wield for warriors, is it dex or str?
Corinne: So we did wanna bring dual wielding back. It is part of the rogue kit this time, warriors are really focused on mighty two handed weapons, I can’t wait until you see, when you swing those weapons there's a real heft to it, and then of course sword and shield. So we’re leaving the dual wielding to the rogues, but you can see, the amount of hits you can get in in rapid succession dual wielding as a rogue is really satisfying.
Q: What have been some of the challenges and advantages of working on a single game for so many years?
John: That is a fantastic question. I have often joked, and I don’t know how much of a joke it is, that when this game is out and I suddenly don't have to keep all these pieces of game and lore and story and everything straight in my head, I'm suddenly gonna be able to speak Latin or something because there’s gonna be a ton of brain power freed up. But for me it’s just, the thing that keeps me sustained is just knowing the game we're building is the right one. Knowing that the pieces are coming together, and knowing just how much people care about this franchise, care about these games, and how excited people are going to be when they get to see the fantastic work the team has been doing. I’ve been on this project since the start, and even today I see things on a daily basis that I’m like holy smokes I can't believe what the team is doing, I can’t believe how good this looks. It's a huge game and I don't see every piece every day, so I get pleasantly surprised on a daily basis. Sometimes if I’m having a particularly long day, I'll spend about an hour late at night just watching cutscenes come in, watching the work coming together, and just sitting back and being like, holy smokes, I can’t wait for someone who hasn’t seen this every day as I have, to see this and just be blown away by the work.
Corinne: It's been very real, hasn’t it? I will just say speaking on behalf of the dev team, everyone's working so hard and putting so much passion, so much of themselves into it. This is a franchise they truly love and seeing your support cheering us on has meant a lot to them. So let me just say thank you to all of you.

Notes: some angst at the start but the rest is fluffy, good dad miguel, distrustfull reader at first, road trip writing, hcs and drabbles, can you tell i can't write good father figures? That's bc mine doesn't like emotional support:) not proof read

💙Miguel was fighting off an anomaly with some other spider people, shouting orders left and right, when he ordered some feral-looking spider and she went exactly against his order which he was gonna follow them, save her and then scold her about being reckless
🩵but then he noticed that that specific spider was not from his team
💙he saw her swing forward, hit the anomaly with both legs, knocking it off it's feet, and he took that chance and tied it up with webs
🩵she did a couple flips and landed, looked back, and miguel could feel her intense stare at him
💙he was about to call out for her, and maybe even invite her to the spider society
🩵With a roll of your eyes and a "tsk" you jumped forward, swinging away
💙when miguel returned, he searched up your earth and information about you
🩵he found out that you only a teenager living a double-life, been bitten by a spider as a child, and that your parents were your canon and that you're alone in there
💙so he visits your earth a lot to check on you
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
~you said goodbye to your friend and watched them disappear from your sight, leaving you with that uncomfortable feeling of eyes on you, you felt this way alot ever since those many spiders appeared the other day
With a sigh you walked over the little abandoned apartment complex you lived in, put your back pack there and put on your spider suit to patrol the streets
Miguel on the other hand, he only got more protective of you and needing to keep you safe as he watched from afar
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
🩵you didn't see miguel again until another gaint anomaly destroyed your home
💙you were just taking the sight in, the rubble, the dust, the destruction, another home crumbling before your own eyes, and again you couldn't save it, so you just stared at it, thinking what stuff of yours survived, probably none
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
You sighed, deeply, then, your spidey senses were ringing in your head, you turned around, ready to fight whoever it is, pulling down your mask
It was that big spider-man, and you felt uneasy about his stare, but you pulled your mask off anyway
" what" you attacked,no actual violence in your voice, you were so tired, and now even more homeless then before
"you're looking at the apartment complex a little too long" he answered, calm, yet somehow knowing? You hated that
"yeah well i lived there" you rolled your eyes
"it looks abandoned?" he inquired yet teased, you hated the brain games he's playing
"i never said others do, also cut the crap, what do you want" you snapped weakly
"ok" he lifted his forearms in front of him "i noticed that your are most times alone, and homeless as it turns out and i wanted to invite to the spider society" he offered
You were quiet for a moment
"so it was you" you yelled, annoyed "why the fuck were you stalking me like that, was it so hard to
talk to me?"
"no but i need to know you before inviting people into my society" he reasoned
With a scoff you asked "what's this- pfft- i don't know spider group thing?"
"a society from people just like you from other universes, team up and fight off what might be in the way of the smooth running of multi-verse, seeing your circumstances, i think you'd like it" he adviced.
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
🩵And boom! You→in spider society!!
💙you sticked to miguel's side most time, he didn't mind one bit
🩵you'd sit in his office while he works, scrolling on your phone/tablet (or whatever you like) that miguel got you despite you arguing that he didn't have to
💙"I've seen the kids carrying them around, i think its important to y'all or something " he argues, knowing damn well that its a luxury thing
🩵you get him lunch everyday and you two eat it together, talk about stuff and all that father/daughter all that good stuff
💙you two joke around lots too! You'd crack a joke and he'll chuckle and add to it until you're crying laughing
🩵you join him on most missions, its more of you swinging and playing around and helping whenever you can, and he actually fights it off
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
"oh my god!" you yelled when he stopped beside you "are you spider man!?" you asked him, acting like a fan girl who just saw her dream idol
His wide eyes turned into an eye roll at you as he swung away again
You laughed about to get down from the wall you were clinging on, when it broke with some force, knocking you down
A surprised noise tore off your throat as you fell down, you turned around, your back facing the ground, looking for something to web yourself to
On the other hand, miguel felt the life leave his body
He's losing A daughter, again, he couldn't let that happen
He swung to you, wrapping you in red webbing just as you webbed yourself to another building, he pulled you up to him and held you
"are you ok!" he checked frantic, looking you over for the smallest cut
"I'm fine" you smiled "it just caught me off guard "
He sat you both on a surface, gears turning in their head, then he took a deep breath "go back to HQ" he told you, voice gentle
"what? Why!?" you asked, surprised by his offer
"just do what i say.. Please" he pleaded
"alright.." you argeed, releasing his arms as they lowered from your shoulders
Stepping back, clicking a few bottoms on your watch, making a portal appear behind you
"be safe!" you said, before stepping into it
•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•❥•
💙you two didn't talk about that day since
🩵you of course knew about his daughter and past
💙 that day, he acted weird, and you just thought that it was because he had a long day
🩵he became more protective of you, not letting you go to as many missions as before, it annoyed you a bit but you chalked it up to you being reckless and careless and he couldn't have you fucking up missions
💙he'd call you things like "mija" or "niña" yk indearments and cutesy stuff like that
🩵you're so petty most times, and you like to get under his skin so you and lyla gang up on him
💙he doesn't like hobie being around you, but you do, soo that's that..
🩵he teaches you (mostly technology) stuff and answes all your questions
💙after a year and some months, you gave him "the best father" gift card on Father's Day and he went home and cried about it
🩵after that he became even softer (somehow) with you
💙"I'm proud of you"s and "good job kid"s were a reaccuring
🩵he asked to move in with him from the HQ rooms and you agreed, and hugged him
💙he spends more time off now, with you, learning more about you hobbies and interests, cheering you on
🩵you started calling him dad, he teared up the first few times when you did, still warms his heart everytime
💙he helps you with school, and not in a "WHAT'S 5 TIMES 7 while you cry " kinda way lol
🩵he scares off any dating possibilities too
💙if you have a bad day, he'd be a lil sad that you didn't call him first thing, but he'd buy you/make you your favorite food and sits with you and listen to you ramble about it if you want, if not, he'd sit with you on the couch watching a movie
🩵he lets you do wierd things on his face ( "dad they're called face maskes!)
💙he tells you dad jokes ironically, you always roll eyes at him
🩵you're an endless supply of old man jokes ("mija I'm not even that old what the fuck")
💙so yeah,it's happy vibes all around

You guess it, next is probabs platonic hobie

Lana Songs for Gotham Characters
This is just gotham characters and which lana songs I feel suit them best/they remind me of. If I left some characters out it's because I couldn't find a song that fit them well. Sorry xoxo!
Tumblr media
READ BELOW CUT
Jim Gordon: 24
"If you lie down with dogs then you'll get fleas. Be careful of the company you keep..."
Tumblr media
This is the first song I thought of being of the meaning behind the song. He has a hard time being honest about the things he deals with as a police officer. He lies to protect people. He makes deals with bad people to protect the ones he loves. Though this song has a more sad meaning to it, I feel like the lyrics suit him very well.
Oswald Cobblepot: Old Money
"My father's love was always strong. My mother's glamour lives on and on..."
Tumblr media
This song is about being there for the people you love/who love you. Even though he isn't that good of a person, he is all about family and love. He loved his mother and father dearly, and that's why this song reminds me of him.
Bruce Wayne: Terrence Loves You
"But I lost myself when I lost you..."
Tumblr media
This song is about being strong in the face of abandonment, which is exactly what Bruce does. He stays strong after his parents die and never gives up. This song is very sweet and I highly recommend you listen to it.
Selina Kyle: This Is What Makes Us Girls
"We all look for heaven and we put love first. Something that we'd die for, its a curse..."
Tumblr media
This song is about having a troubling past as a teenager. Constantly getting into trouble and suffering the consequences. It really reminds me of her because of her life on the streets and constant struggle to survive.
Jerome Valeska: Born To Die
"Come and take a walk on the wild side. Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain. You like your girls insane..."
Tumblr media
This song is about true love and living life recklessly. I feel like it suits him well because of him being a little....insane. Lol. He definitely lives life on the wild side.
Victor Zsasz: Art Deco
"You're so art deco, out on the floor. Shining like gun metal, cold and unsure..."
Tumblr media
This suits him so well. He's so classy and professional but he's also a big dork. He's very cold and unsure. I feel like this suits him the best because of his attitude. He's gentle and cold.
Edward Nygma: Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard/Salvatore
'Open me up, tell me you like me. Fuck me to death, love me until I love myself.'
'Dying by the hand of a foreign man, happily. Calling out my name in the summer rain, ciao, amore.'
Tumblr media
Ok, so I chose two songs for him because I actually had a REALLY difficult time trying to find the perfect song for him. I analyzed the lyrics and couldn't find anything. But these two songs fit him the best. More specifically, the lyrics listed above.
For the first quote, I thought about his origins. Why did he become the Riddler? Parental neglect and abuse. He didn't love himself. So, that lyric fit him perfect. 'Love me until I love myself'. Yes, he's a super criminal, but it stems all from never getting loved or acknowledged.
For the second quote, I KNOW HE ISN'T A FOREIGN MAN SHUT UP HE'S AMERICAN 🦅🦅🦅BUT IT STILL FIT HIM SO WELL! I feel like he DEFINITELY knows over 10 languages at LEAST and he definitely speaks Latin. I feel like he would totally speak Latin when being romantic. And 'dying by the hand' of him, is a reflection of how dangerous he truly is. And 'calling out my name in the summer rain' is a reflection of how he still is a romantic at heart. He finds small things like rain beautiful, but he fights with his criminal side a lot. A battle between love and evil. So fuckin poetic.
Let me know what you guys think of my choices <3 sorry if I left people out. It was hard enough to find songs that fit these characters hehe.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT Actually I'm going to share my fresh, sleep-deprived thoughts that I wrote yesterday- or more like, this morning gfhhgf bear with me cause I was loosing it :>
⚠ Heavy spoilers under read more!
As a heads up as to why the formating is all weird, this was sent to a friendo who worked on PL :3 Did a list of things that stuck to me in those 4-5 first hours right before falling asleep! I stoped at the little hideout with Myers, didn't met Reed or Kurt or MrHands or Anybody elses yet really 👁👄👁✋ taking my sweet time with it!
The start : I LOVED the glitchy holocall with songbird, it set the tone immediately
God walking up to the gate and seeing all those cars and npcs waiting to enter- THE BIT with the cops who cant go in ?? omg loved it, again its such a tiny thing that set the tone right up
Songbird introduction oh my goddddddd…. HGJG I love HER SHE'S SO COOL… When she was like "were going to crash so I woobled into your relic" I was???? Ok so How and What and What and What UH… Also I can see why people won't like her, already just cause she mute Johnny and isnt a Samurai fan fhdjbqg BUT I PERSONALLY REALLY LIKE IT
Dogtown itself???? Holyshit. Like, I remember dev saying that Night City itself was a character, the main character even, and they nailed it hardcore with Dogtown too- all of the civilians are fucking so memorable too??? how good the random crowd npcs look as well!! Its a glowup from vanilla and it shows (special kudos to the netrunner kid vendor, and the flame thrower elbow guy and his little dance ghdjs)
I wheezed when trying the AR googles HGKHQ
The crash : God. Even tho I knew what was going to happen, the amount of chills I had during that scene!! It reminded me of one of my favorite DLC from Mass Effect 3, Citadel, there is a scene where Shepard eat shit and fall through a big aquarium / building and is truly alone, hurt and all- gave me the same vibes of "the world is too big, too Much and I'm just one Guy" ??? It got me so hookt, god. ALSO THE TITLE POPING??? UUUGGGHHH. GOD.
Rush to the crash, the sneaking to the ship and getting Myers got me Alert and excited
Escorting Myers feels nice cause she's not useless, she knows how to handle herself (DUH!) but I mean her A.I as a NPC, I like that she also sneak attack on ennemies when you do, like Jackie did
Part I had struggle with was the Driving Myers to the Garage bits, was getting frustrated- I love driving in FPP but with this car, in those streets and in this stressful situation YUOOOCK it wasnt IT FHFJJG switched to TPP and managed after a few tries UwU
OK GOD. The museum- amazing visuals and lore crumbs ofc BUT THE CHIMERA???? HELLO???????? THEY FUCKING POPPED OFF. I havent felt this stressed on a boss battle in FOREVER! Funny enough it reminded me of my first time against Nefarious from Ratchet and clank 3, and its positive HKGJ I was a wee kid back then and its my favorite game from the ratchet serie (which is my favorite console serie tbh) and it made me so nostalgic of that time??? REALLY Comf, really challenging, I shat myself.
District itself is FUCKING INSANE. Of course, it looks amazing, the sound design, the VIBES- I thought everything was already done in night city, how much different nuance of CyberPunk can you do when you already have such a big city with such different districts?? but dogtown is so different and yet fit perfectly
I LOVE. THE. NOMAD DIALOGUE OPTIONS… One of my big "fear" was being left out of the fun cause yeah Nomads really just have the badlands kinda hfjdjg but!!! I already been fed from the few choices I had, especially the one when cutting out the tracker from Myers neck, mentioning the uhh ritual thing, I was !!!!!!! AAAAAH FOOD FOR THOUGHTS AND ROTS I LOVE IT
talking about Nomads I LOVE THE DIVERSITY in the new garments!! Had a lot of corpo and barghest armor loot at the start, so I didnt expected to see some cool denim harnesses, practical jeans and worker gears OwO Excited to see more cause AZHHHGFH

for the WIP game, can you tell me more about ‘Fox gets a job- quin/ Fox’ 👀👀
thank you for asking!
OK so i know i've talked about this on here before but i love this au so i'm gonna repeat myself a bit probably.
so its set post war, no order 66. The idea is that the war opened everyones eyes to cloning, in a very bad way. loads of half bit criminals are like. free labour? people we can raise to do whatever we want? why don't we give it a try. theres a background of a lot of shitty gangs going about trying out cloning in a way that would horrify the kaminoans really. this is not good science, this is comic book-esque backstreet cloning in order to take advantage of people.
they are largely not successful. the problem isnt that there are loads of gang owned clones around. the problem is that they keep trying even tho they dont know shit about cloning and so vulnerable ppl are getting kidnapped off the streets for gennetic material and in a baby farm type way to grow clones in. its bad.
enter fox. he's drifting after the war. he doesnt really know what too do with his life. he is looking for a job and he says he wants a job but everytime he gets an interview he's overly honest and tells them things like 'yeah i killed my last boss' (palpatine) and 'my greatest flaw? i'm too competent. it makes my bosses feel inferior' and so understandably nobody will give him a job
he doesnt actually need a job. quin is paying all his bills cause theyre in a weird not relationship and wont admit they care about eachother. fox is deadly embarrased about whatever quin funding him and spending all his days off in fox's apartment might signify and so it is a MASSIVE SECRET that must be kept from fox's brothers.
so fox at this point in his life, stumbles on to one of these cloning ops and ends up helping someone. and it becomes kind of addictive. he wont admit it but helping these people, who are being hurt by cloning, settles something in him. maybe it settles the thing in him that he wont admit is so hurt by the cards he and his brothers have been dealt, by what was done to them.
so fox sets up as a private investigator. but because he's a weirdo who runs from intimacy he kind of. doesnt tell anyone (he cant. this is important to him) but of course, his brothers find out anyway and they also find out that he's running the worst business ever because he's not taking money from his clients. because he doesnt feel right doing it.
now where this is building to (and this is the part that i kinda got stuck on) is he stumbles on to a BIG criminall gang cloning conspiracy. one where they are actually succeeding in cloning people. he ends up investigating this one with Boba! which pretty much happens cause at the start before he knows how big this is, he walks in to this lab, and who has also broken in to the lab and is investigating the same conspiracy? BOBA. and its just like. fox and boba stood on either side of this illegal lab like. spiderman meme pointing. looking out of the window of a car as they drive past each other. that vibe.
and the rest of the story is boba and fox on this unwilling team up. neither of them wanting to admit to feelings but having to kind of both admit. yeah. bad things happened to us and i dont like the idea of anyone else being out there with similar stuff happening to them. they also unwillingly get close. then theres the side plot of fox having to admit his feelings when it comes too quin and admit that theyre kinda living like theyre in a committed relationship without the words. and then the other thing thats going on in the background is cody and obi wan, who are living together, in a happy relationship apart from the fact that they never have an empty house becuase one of them is aways inviting some wayward sibling or other to stay with them. cody and obi wan respectively have no shortage of family so its just constant and both of them act like theyre annoyed each time the others do it, but really, its why they love each other and theyre both so big brother coded and yeah.
so i know i've alread shared some bits of this here and here (and possibly theres a third one floating around here as welll? cant find it)
so here are some other snippets from other parts of the au:
Tumblr media
and from a bit later on, a quin/fox bit
Tumblr media
later on, fox being uncharactaristially honest (it's easier when the person doesnt matter to him)
Tumblr media
and finally, fox's thoughts on the cloning problem
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
and i've shared loads sorry so i'll stop now, but yeah. this is an idea i am very excited about and i am very frustrated that i havent been able to form a conspiracy that fits right for him and boba to investigate

warm days with you
After Emma was born, one of Lucy’s biggest fears was that Elenore would feel left out. She was eleven then – thirteen now – and even though she’d had most of a childhood already, Lucy was nervous that she’d feel neglected just when she needed her mother the most. She keeps having visions of Elenore falling in love with the wrong kind of guy because her mother wasn’t there to tell her what to look for. She keeps having visions of Elenore hitching her wagon to the first OK-ish guy she meets. Now that she has this big crush on her best friend, Sean, Lucy sits awake at night, worried.
It’s not that Sean is a bad kid. Not at all. He’s perfectly nice. He says please and thank you, and he really seems to enjoy Elenore’s company. Always has, ever since they moved here when Elenore was in the second grade. They seem like they have a really great time together. But there’s just something about Sean that gives Lucy a little bit of pause. Maybe she’s being too harsh on him. He’s only recently turned thirteen, and it would be too much to ask him to know himself. But there’s just something there. A permanent wishy-washiness that you’re born into, that you can’t grow out of. Will says that she’s being too judgmental and unrealistic because she’s afraid of losing her eldest daughter, because she’s afraid Elenore won’t have the richly textured life that Lucy has always wanted for her (and so badly). He says Lucy got lucky with a guy like him because he got lucky enough to know her. There’s a point in there somewhere. It doesn’t negate the gnawing feeling in Lucy’s gut whenever she thinks about Elenore growing up alongside this boy who’s just OK.
Toward the end of the school year, Lucy has an idea. On a Wednesday – a day where she teaches no classes – she doesn’t wake Elenore up for school. It’s her skip day for the semester, just when she thought she wasn’t going to have one this time around. She takes her dear sweet time getting dressed and ready for a nice day with her mother. It’s the first warm day of the spring, and they have a lot to talk about.
As they walk along the street near their building, Lucy asks Elenore why she has such a crush on Sean. Just like Lucy expected (and worried), Elenore turns bright pink, and her eyes look like two pretty sequins in her head. Infatuation at its best. Same as its worst.
“Oh, Mom, he’s just so perfect,” she says. “Perfect for me, anyway. We laugh at all the same stuff. He always agrees with me. He can predict what I’m going to say. And … I don’t know, I think he has the prettiest eyes.”
“You like green eyes?” Lucy asks.
“I like Sean’s eyes.”
Lucy nods. Fair enough. Maybe she’s forgotten that Charlie, her first-ever crush, has green eyes, too. Maybe that’s a good thing.
“I know you really like him,” Lucy says. “But I also want you to know that you’re thirteen. You don’t have to like the same guy forever. You can like different guys, and you can like them at whatever pace you want.”
“But you didn’t like more than one guy,” Elenore says. “Right?”
Lucy sighs.
“No, not really,” she says. “But that was different. Daddy and I … we’re meant to be together in a way that a lot of couples aren’t. We didn’t force it. We just … we were, and we are. That’s all there is to it. It’s the kind of love you can’t explain because if you could, I’d have written three or four books about it by now.”
Elenore nods.
“OK,” she says. “So, why couldn’t I have that kind of love with Sean?”
Lucy doesn’t know how to say it nicely. So, she says it the way it comes to her mind, and she knows she’ll probably pay for it later.
“I think you’d already know by now,” she says. “By the time I was almost done with seventh grade, I knew for sure I was going to marry your dad. And not that ‘for sure’ you can force yourself to feel. I knew it like I knew basic arithmetic.”
“Which you weren’t good at.”
Lucy grits her teeth. The kid just had to go there.
“I still knew what to do with one and one,” she says. “And I still knew what to do with your father. Do you feel that way about Sean? Be honest.”
Maybe she’s being too pushy. She’s definitely being too pushy. But when she thinks about Elenore being alone, at home, nursing a broken heart with no ideas about how to get out of it, it makes her sick. It’s probably a bad thing to assume your daughter’s first real crush is going to break her heart. But there’s just something so thin about this Sean kid. Too thin for someone as substantial and strong as Elenore. There’s no one in the world like Elenore. Maybe nobody else will ever fully understand her. Maybe no one else will ever fully earn her love.
And oh, how that beautiful girl can love. When she gets your arms around you, you pray she never lets you go. It was just like that when she was a new baby, and it’s just like that today. Elenore’s embrace isn’t a normal one. It’s all her own, and she is a miracle.
It’s been about a minute, and Elenore hasn’t answered anything about Sean.
“I like the sunshine,” she says, kind of quietly.
“Yeah,” Lucy agrees. “It’s my favorite type of weather. Surprises people, I think. A lot of my colleagues assume I must be a thunderstorm kind of woman.”
“Thunderstorms are scary.”
“See, you speak my secret language.”
“Only because you taught it to me!”
Lucy laughs. Elenore has spoken her secret language since before she was even born. She’s fluent in her mother’s pauses and silences. Surely, she’ll be able to parse through a few more of them today.
“It’s my favorite thing in the world, you know,” Lucy says.
“The sun?” Elenore asks.
“Yeah. But mostly just warm days with you.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Lucy sees Elenore with a big grin on her face. Without thinking, Lucy grins to match it. They probably won’t talk about love and relationships and setting standards for the rest of the afternoon.
For now, it’s just enough to make her girl smile.
(part of @nosebleedclub march challenge -- day 30!)

sooooo, I have been rewatching a few table skits because the last days were shitty and I needed to laugh
I maybe have come up with a theory about New York (It probably has already been noticed, but I didn’t do a deep dive into the unstable canon of this fandom for nothing, ok)
So in the ‘DC statehood’ skit we see New York (State) and NYC
NYC with the normal red beanie we know and love
NY State with a bills (I think. I’m not big on football) beanie
we have seen both beanies multiple times after (and I think before it switched too sometimes) but the red is much more prominent
So. are we looking at NYC most of the time? Representing how NYC dominates the states image?
(also another piece to support this theory is that in ‘Weekly News Recap 6/5′ NY ask why the military is walking on HIS streets not NYC streets HIS streets, he is speaking in first person about NYC when he is constantly insisted that NY (not him, but NY) is more than just the city (I could be wrong on that as I don't know what happened beyond what's said in the sketch so feel free to correct))
Edit after rewatching more vids:
(found another thing ‘Night Before Christmas in NYC’ AND I QUOTE: “This has been ‘The night before Christmas in NYC’ by ME NYC” he's wearing the coat he has the beanie he said it himself what more evidence do you need)
Do they have a Texas/Austin or California/beach cal or Florida/Miami (from Cal and Flo we can also learn that states can change outfits when switching personalities) thing going on, just with the City being in control most of the time?
What would their relationship be like?
(I’m just gonna refer to them as State and City from here on, as this is annoying)
In the episode (D.C. wants to be a state) State would like to get City out of the state but gets shut down by City
State seems much nicer and happier than City does (still not nice, but nicer)
Would they have a sibling like relationship, City being the overprotective older brother (my research said NYC is older, correct me if I’m wrong) taking all the attention on him, as he always has, while State just wants to be seen independent of NYC?
Do they get along when nobody's locking?
Does City ask State when something that's not the city is brought up?
Because City clearly cares about States feelings, with his stubborn telling everyone that NY is more than just a city, even tho (If we go by beanie logic) said city is in control.
And if we spin this over analyzation further, NY outfit isn't consistent at all, but all reappear from time to time, different from all other states that changed outfits, so does that mean that other cities also can take control?
Also, are the other States aware of it because they all refer to him (NYC, NY and other) as only New York.
Like we got (I have evidence for NYC, NY (state), Albany and Buffalo but I’m not through with my digging, so maybe Rochester will be added when I find an outfit that I can’t sort to anybody else)
Red beanie, coat, gray hoodie (only in the early eps) Bills shirt - NYC there is so much evidence I'm not listing here (ask if you want more insight to my research), it’s also the most seen one by a lot (I counted) so it supports my theory that NYC is mostly the one in control (He shares this one with buffalo tho as NYC said in one of the early skits that buffalo like jumping through fold tables Bc football or smth, and in the Holiday special (The one where NY Buffalo smiled) he said in this outfit that he already did jump through tables, I don't think buffalo comes out much tho beyond football which is why he doesn’t have his own outfit
Red Beanie, no coat, bills shirt - That's Albany, but the hints to that are very subtle. The first time that outfit was seen was in the episode that started with tear gas in different states (NY included) Albany was the only city (important enough for me to consider here) that used tear gas (There is a little more but explaining that would take too long)
Red beanie, no coat, New York shirt - also New York City (Just his warm wetter outfit lol) Same personality just different shirt, try telling me otherwise I will pull out the loads of evidence I have for this. I’m just too lazy to write it all out, rn. (beside NYC so has more than one outfit to wear, he’s NYC after all)
UPDATE AFTER MORE DIGGING: this ^ is shared between NY and NYC I will explain: In the bosten tea party video is ny in this outfit agreeing with mass which means it can't be NYC as he stood against what mass did back then so either NY just took over because he represented the popular opinion in the state (making it a austin/texas kinda situation where the more popular has more representation) or back then they were still one person and split up later when NYC became the face of NY (would explain why not even the northeastern states are aware of it as NY didn't have multiple personalities back then) and albany appeared when it became capital and buffalo just showed up some day (I do not know the history of buffalo so when I get into research for his part in this (he shows up the least so he is the last one I will look into), his place in the timeline I'm establishing here could change)
There is another version of this one just with a different Shirt which only appears in ‘DC statehood’ and is explicitly said to be NYC
Bills beanie, no coat bills shirt - NY (state) as far as I’m right now with the episodes it has appeared in DC Statehood with the exact label NY as the state and In the drunk NY scene in ‘Table News: Two Tickets to Martha’s’ and in both he's adorable, fight me.
But all are just called New York for some reason (somebody write a fic about the other states after moving in being confused as all hell at NY different personalities. It. would. Be. Hilarious. or good angst (duh) or hurt/comfort (The system supporting each other) or just Texas and New York bonding over it)
Everybody can use this, go nuts, this fandom can sure as hell use more NY fluff/Angst fellas!
If this interested anyone, just ask for more info if you want it, I have done so much digging for this (Do not recommend) so that you don’t have too and I’m happy to share everything I found, just this is already pretty long so yeah.
If ya want more info I have a few sites written full of details I noticed by going through all of NY episodes for this (Most also have episodes it appeared in referenced so you could check yourself if you want)
just differentiate if you only want things I found in the skits or if head canons mixed in would be ok (It would be marked with HC tho)
This took three hours and it’s not even half of all I found out and I’m not even through all of NY appearances but I don't wanna do more digging rn.

Wow i'm glad you do. For Nick Vaughan i want to ask for a fluff. (i never say no to smutt by the way :) ) Reader came from another country to new york. They met while reader is walking at the city at night. They start dating and fall so hard for each other. They decide to movie in in a small apartment which is a safe, sweet home to both. The first one that they have❤
Also, a request that is deserving of multiple parts! 🥰
Nick Vaughan X Reader Series
Take Me Home | Part 1: Meet Cute
A/N: Ooft... did this take a while! I am so sorry for the delay for my love @atoosa22 but i hope you enjoy the first part of what is sure to be a very fluffy (and soon to be smutty) series. ☘️😘
Tumblr media
“Yeah mom, of course, uh-huh... yeah I’m heading home now… yes… it’s freezing here.” You pulled your keys out of the lock of your workplace, holding your phone between your shoulder and cheek as you listened to your mothers worries and concerns knowing she stood halfway across the world powerless while you were alone in the big city.
But there was no such thing as being alone in New York, all the sounds, the lights, the people. It never slept. But you certainly did.
3am and all you could think about is your nice, warm fluffy bed at home.
“Yeah mom, ok well I gotta go… I love you have a good day!”
You hung up, slipping your phone into your pocket. Tightening your coat around you, noticing the misty cloud that appeared when you breathed out. Fiddling with your keys in your hand, manoeuvring the teeth of the metal between your knuckles (just in case).
It was a 20-minute walk back to your apartment. What could happen in the 20-minute direct route to your apartment? 20 blocks. 20 minutes. Head forward. Shoulders back. One foot in front of the other.
Stragglers lined the street; sleeping homeless people, drunk patrons who have called it a night and a few bold individuals walking their dog.
You’re not alone. Never in New York.
You reached block 12 of your journey. With the building above it under construction a makeshift tunnel of plasterboard and wooden beams was your path. Poorly lit by a singular low functioning flood light above but with the rest of the street cut off, it was your only option.
The sound of your boots on the floor was drowned out by the sound of drunk male laughter. “Not every drunk man is a bad man” you thought as you followed the sound hoping to make it to the other side unfazed.
The tunnel was narrow, and the group of men took up most of the path, leaning against the walls, huddled in a group. Taking in a shaky breath you approached them, eager to pass without being perceived.
“Hey pretty girl where you going?” Mission failed as the man snarled at you. You bowed your head, suddenly becoming interested in the tips of your shoe that was until the presence of another matched you toe to toe.
He had blocked your path, forcing you to look up. “Hey when a man’s talking to you, you respond.” His voice was louder this time, agitated. You had heard it many times before in men. Angry men. Men who always got their way by force.
You clenched your fist around your keys, feeling the keychain make indents on your skin. The man had an audience, and he wasn’t going to relent.
“Why don’t you smile a little…” His hand edged towards your face but shot away suddenly at an echo from behind you.
“Baby hey why you walking so fast!” A man came up beside you, wrapping his hand tightly around your waist.
“Excuse me guys.” He gave a firm shoulder nudge towards the man in front of you, pushing him the side. Frozen in fear you let him lead you towards the exit.
You both walked in silence to the next block, far gone from the narrow tunnel.
“Thank you.” You finally let out.
“Oh, foreign that explains it.” He mutters. The fear in your body had now left, replaced with annoyance.
“What’s that supposed to me?” You pushed out of his grip around your waist. Now face to face with the man who technically saved your life.
He looked down on you, while a little wayward in appearance, he was tall and handsome a scruffy beard curving around a strong jaw. Even with layers he looked as though he packed a decent bit of muscle, enough to push your average creep down if needed.
“It means anyone whose actually from New York knows that when you look like that you shouldn’t be walking around it at 3am.” He spits, cocking his head to side in a condescending manner.
“For your information, I’ve done that walk many times since I moved here and that has never happened. And since when is it a woman’s responsibility to reconfigure their whole lives so creepy assholes don’t have a chance to take advantage of them?”
“That’s not what I meant.” He pinched his eyebrow in frustration.
“Well thank you for very much again and I hope you enjoyed your knight in shining armour moment.” You continued to walk, leaving behind your handsome saviour.
“Hey wait.” He jogged up behind you. You stopped in the middle of the sidewalk.
“God you do walk fast don’t ya?” His joke was met with your scowl.
“Let me at least walk you the rest of the way home?”
“Oh so you can know my address and then break in and kill me?” You scoffed.
“I would of been happy with a cup of thank you coffee.” He rubbed his neck, smirking at you.
“I don’t even know your name and you want to come back to my apartment?” You looked at him like he had two heads.
“Well, it’s Nick, and if that’s not good enough its Nick Vaughan born 14th of June 1981. Professional failing trumpet player, full time adored son, part time knight in shining armour, and my social security number is 79-.”
You put your hand up to stop him “Ok ok I get it you’re not a murderer.”
“Hey you cut me off at the best part!”
“Oh really?”
“I’m also the guy who makes sure a pretty girl who just had to deal with a drunken creep gets home safe.”
You pursed your lips inward to hide the smile threatening to come up as he called you pretty.
“Fine.” You let out.
“Wait a minute…” He stepped closer, holding out his pointer “What if you’re…” His finger threatening to push past your coat and touch the exposed skin of your chest. “The murderer.”
“Y/N, foreigner, passport holder of [your country], professionally [dream job] but also full time, loving daughter and occasional victim of drunken creeps.”
He thought for a moment, looking up at the skyscraper above him “Yeah that checks out.”
He held out his elbow, edging you to thread your hand in it. You looked at his arm in confusion.
“You’re cold I promise it’ll make you feel better.”
You were cold and his strong arm was inviting and with your limited experience of his arms around you, you knew that you liked it and it wouldn’t hurt to be able to savour the feeling this time. You begrudgingly slid your hand through.
Nick: “Is it rude to ask why you are walking home this late?”
Y/N: “Pushing it but if you must know I was closing at work.”
Nick: “Alone? They make you do it alone?” His voice laced with concern.
Y/N: “I’m not 15 so yes, they make me, an adult women close up shop at the end of the day.”
Nick: “Remind me not to start questioning the independence of a clearly very strong-minded woman.”
Y/N: “You learn quick, too bad you seem to be 30 years too late.”
Nick: “3 sisters, so excuse the natural instincts.”
Y/N: “Fair enough.”
Nick: “How do you drink coffee from where you’re from?”
Y/N: “In a mug.”
Nick: “Funny.”
Y/N: “I know. Now my turn.”
Nick: “Shoot.”
Y/N: “Why are you walking alone this late?”
Nick: “I’m a musician.”
Y/N: “Yes, but not a vampire so…”
Nick: “Most gigs are at night as well as drunk people are more likely to give up their cash.”
Y/N: “So, you’re a hustler?”
Nick: “I prefer the term opportunist.” He smirked at you.
“This is me.” You motioned towards the front step of your building.
“It’s pretty late-”
“I should let you go-”
You looked at each other, letting out soft laughter.
"Thanks for walking me home. I guess I owe you that cup of thank you coffee."
Nick grinned. "I'll hold you to that. How about tomorrow morning?"
"Sure, why not?" you replied, surprised by your own eagerness.
"But you're buying, you know struggling musician and all."
"Fine.”
"Goodnight, [Your country]."
“Goodnight, Nick.”
As he walked away, you couldn't help but feel a flutter in your stomach. Opening the door to your apartment, your back hitting the door as you slid to the ground, grinning like an idiot.

OK TODAY I HAD A DREAM ABT THE CORINTHIAN LISTEN UP.
I’m gonna try to make it make sense bc there were some weird bits to it, but here goes the gist of it:
It began at a nerd shop that used to exist in my town (which closed down a couple of months ago, actually). The clerk was closing up for the night, giving the big window a wash and all that, when the Corinthian, in all white and beige clothes, black shades and everything, shows up. He doesn’t walk in through the door, just pop! He’s there, and he starts going through the books at the counter, like he’s searching for something. There was also a cat, a yellow tortie, who slipped in through the open door, but idk what the cat’s deal was. Anyway.
The clerk notices he’s there and tells him he can’t be there, that they’re closed. The Corinthian turns to him slowly, like he knew the guy was there the whole time and ignored him, until he made the mistake of speaking up. He smiles, you know the smile. Charming but in a creepy way, the kind that gives you chills down your spine. He starts toward the clerk, but before he can say anything, I’m there.
I don’t know how it happened, I was watching the scene unfold and suddenly I was part of it. Maybe I was the cat? No idea.
Point is, I’m there, I turn to the clerk and I tell him: “I’ll take care of this. You should probably go home.”
The clerk leaves without protest, he’s out the door in a flash and who can blame him? I wouldn’t want the Corinthian giving me that hungry smile like he can taste my eyeballs already, either. It’s just me and him in the shop now, and he looks a bit annoyed that I interrupted any interaction with the poor clerk. He goes back to rummaging through the books (no idea why, I never found out). Meanwhile, I go to the window and push the blinds down so we can have privacy from any on-lookers outside.
I go up to him and I say: “Corinthian. You know I’ll have to report this to Lord Morpheus, don’t you?”
He turns to me then, that rebellious smirk on his face, and shrugs. “Go ahead. I don’t care anymore. In fact...”
We hear a buzzing sound: it’s his phone going off. He pulls it out from his pocket and shows me the screen. It’s Dream.
(Side note, I don’t know HOW DREAM GOT A PHONE or how he’s using it, but it’s him, I know it in my soul).
The Corinthian slides to answer, but he doesn’t put it on speaker, or even brings it to his ear, he just holds the phone in his hand. I can’t hear anyone speaking from the other side, and neither him nor I say anything. We simply stare at each other, as if we’re challenging one another to talk first. He ends the call without a single word being spoken, steps up to me in that deliberately slow gait of a predator (ngl he towered over me and it was scary af) and he says: “I don’t give a fuck anymore whether he knows where I am or not. Go on and report. Makes no difference to me.”
And with that, he turns his back on me and walks out the door.
NOW HERE’S THE REAL KICKER OF THE DREAM, Y’ALL ARE GONNA LOVE THIS: I watch him go, I hesitate, but decide to go after him. It’s pouring rain outside, and it’s freezing, but there’s a cover over the shop’s front so it’s fine. I call out to the Corinthian, and I remember feeling so determined, so resolute in my conviction to what I’m about to do next, and also burning with curiosity.
He stops in his tracks, looks back at me... And I ask, rather incredulously: “You never told me, does your heart beat?”
He returns to my side, stares down at me and opens his arms. “See for yourself.”
So I step up (cautiously) to him, I put my right ear RIGHT ON HIS CHEST, and there it is: a heart beat, strong and calm and strangely soothing, I remember feeling so instantly at peace and good while listening to it that I even closed my eyes and leaned fully against him. He was so warm and it was so cold out in the street, I swear I could have stayed there listening to his heart for the whole night. I think I was a little bit in love with him for a second, LOOOL. But then I caught myself, stood back and looked up at him with wide eyes, I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed, and he gives me this smile that is just so... sad. No joy at all, just an empty smile, and he asks me: “Do you understand, now?”
I can’t think of anything to say.
He starts to walk away in the rain, and I stand there for a long ass moment weighting my options, torn between reporting back to Dream because I’m loyal to him (was I a dream myself, I wonder?) and following the Corinthian. I want to know more, I want to go with him and help him find whatever he’s looking for, but just as I start running to catch up to him and reach out to grab his arm, like literal miliseconds away from my fingers touching the sleeve of his coat, MY FUCKING ALARM GOES OFF AND I WOKE UP. SMH.
It was such an amazing dream, I wish it could have gone on for longer. And it’s giving me so many fic ideas, ohhh yes!

I can't believe you posted CI5 whump... I've become totally obsessed. Especially the episode 'discovered in a graveyard'. Also, although there's some great whump in the last episode of season 1, I feel pretty weird about enjoying whump from an episode which is discussing racism in such a vivd and open way. It's amazing that they were discussing this stuff in the 1970s, even if the episode never got aired. How do you feel about it?
Also, I was wondering if you've seen any Inspector George Gently whump, seeing as Martin Shaw gets whumped in that a few times too. Seems like the kinda thing you would enjoy
Ahhhhhh Profs CI5 is my fav I've never been so hooked on a series myself!
I love Insp George Gently 110% funny enough I saw that before Profs CI5 and didnt know for a while why Doyle/Martin Shaw seemed so familiar lol OK I have no problem discussing it my opinion isn't always popular or appreciated but I'm more than willing to give it :)
Ep spoilers and topic discussion 👇
Firstly Klansmen ep is one of the best for whump isnt it?! not many have the boys both whumped and separated unable to help the other!
Secondly in relation to the topic, is it a very heavy ep, oh yeah.
Should you feel weird liking it?
I don't think so at all, this series pulls no punches when getting into topics esp topics that were new for the time including but not limited to: drug addiction (new drugs where on the streets like heroin), prostitution (the various victims and abusers/users), alcoholism, metal illness, homosexuality/gay (not having been legal for long) etc, they show it in as much a reality as a TV show can, it's not pretty it's not clean and it's hard to watch as it should be, so why wouldn't they show racism in the same way
If they'd made it a soft ep it wouldn't carry the same weight as the ep does in my opinion.
Like all topics you get to see a lot of character stress/trauma and even growth which I think is a big part of it as well particularly with Bodie in that ep, if you watch the series everyone knows he has no issues with Blacks but scars from his SAS and mercenary days sometimes show through and I feel this ep helps move passed that a bit as well he goes from using terms that Cowley and Doyle disapprove of to being saved by the Black Doctor and Nurses who deal with his fever induced ramblings and in the conclusion you see Bodie walk away a better person.
I also really felt the way the Doctor and nurse were handled was perfect no matter what he said in his delirium they did what they could to save him and you got to see her face when it started but she never stopped doing her job caring for him. Also in that ep you get the different POV of the locals effected by the baddies attacks you see the fear, physical harm, and death inflicted which is another important point they show its not just looked out from an outsider.
Then in the finale the plot twist showing a man selling out his own ppl funding a hate group for the gains the housing they take over brings.
Never to leave out Doyle ofc his role in this ep while on his own nearly the whole time showed his experience having worked in the rougher parts of the city pre-CI5 how he has a better understanding of the inner city and how he built trust in those days shines through in his interactions with the kid saving him then busting the whole setup.
To try and sum it up I think it is one of the most important eps to watch it happened at the "perfect" time in the series you know the boys enough not to judge reactions in the same way while also witnessing a redemption story of Bodie and then move on to the rest of the series.
Sorry for the long winded talk if I didnt cover or explain something right please feel free to drop in my inbox :)

It was Tuesday. And it was raining. I was walking. I never thought I liked the way my shoes sound soaked in water. I was not quite sure where I was headed (or maybe I was) but my feet just went along with the sound of old cars, people arguing on their cellphones and the ocean.
Oh. How pleasant and unpleasant is the ocean at the same time.
It gives me discomfort but it also makes me feel like I'm safe. Maybe that's why I walk down this street so much. Maybe my obvious (or not so obvious) destination is worth the joy and pain that gives me the ocean.
I walk around a little more and then I see it. A really modern building with what's supposed to be old architecture design.
Mcqueens building.
I'm not quite sure why I'm here. We've been so casual that I don't know if this is right. Maybe I should leave. But he's been so gentle lately. He's been smiling more. Something he never does. Especially with people. And he smiles at me. He's been accepting my love. I know it. I see his eyes.
I enter the lobby, saying hello to the receptionist and walking towards the elevator. Mcqueen lives in the penthouse. So the elevator goes directly into his apartment. His very big apartment.
I entered. Doesn't feel like home. But I guess eventually it will feel like it.
I hear the small tv on and that concerns me. It's past 10pm. Mcqueen does not mess with his sleep schedule. And then I freeze.
“Are you unhappy?” Oh. That someone else's voice. I know that voice.
“I don't know Ryan, am i?” He laughed. He laughed with that tone. My tone.
I stayed where I was. Not knowing what was happening or what to do. I don't even know if I had to do something, if I had to stay or leave or simply just accept what I was thinking was happening.
I was so merged in my thoughts that I didn't even notice Ryan raising his head and looking at me.
“Oh. We got company” Ryan whispers in his ear. So close to him. I know what he's trying to do. And its working.
Mcqueen looks confused at him not getting what Ryan told him. And after 4 seconds of him moving his head looking for someone. He found my indescriptible gaze.
“Ed.”
It took me 30 seconds to figure out he was saying my name.
“Mcqueen” I said. In a tone that I don't even know how to describe.
I didn't give my heart another second. My eyes went from him to the person so close to him.
“And.. Ryan” I finished saying.
“What… I mean…What are you doing here” He looks at Ryan for a second, giving him the ‘‘you need to go” look.
Ryan looks at me. Like he accomplished something big. “It's ok, I'll go. We'll finish the movie eventually.” he says.
Then he took the time to say goodbye to Mcqueen with his eyes. And my blood starts to boil.
Neither of us said anything until Ryan got out of that apartment and when we heard the close shutting we both knew.
“Look Ed it's not like..”
“What were you guys watching?” I interrupted his speech.
“Ed..” He knows. That's why he's saying my name like that. He knows.
“Answer me.”
“Ed.. Don't do this to yourself”
“Answer me!” I yell.
He looks at me. But I don't know which eyes he is looking at me with.
He struggled to say it but eventually he did.
“Mala Noche.”
“Mala noche” I repeated
It didn't take me long. I was racing to the door. That was our movie. The movie where we bonded over wine and effortless deep talks.
He grabs my arm, but I don't let him get further.
“Ryan” I almost yelled.
“What?”
“Don't act stupid. Out of all people.. Ryan?”
He knows the thing that I have with him and still.
A person from his past cannot keep interfering in what's his future. Our future. We talked about it. That's betrayal.
“What do you mean?”
“I love you. I love you. Not him. He does not.”
“You are the only one that my dick could get hard for. I'm confused, what the fuck you want my heart for?” he said. I was perplexed.
“You are the only one that my dick could get hard for” He keeps on saying that.
“I’ve been misused, what the fuck you want my heart for?” He does not get it. He never will.
“Can you even hear me!?” i yell.
“Hard for?” he said. Like I should settle down for that.
I mock him “I've been misused, what the fuck you want my heart for?”
And i leave. Not knowing if i ever going to comeback (i do)

So, you inspired me to pick up my old guitar again after many years and learning that shit. Was wondering if you have any advice and things that helped you become a good player 🌼
That is so heartwarming, you don't even know! I'm glad you found that spark again.
Most of my guitar journey has been a mental struggle and I'm not a very good guitarist technically, but there is one thing that has really helped me. It's super simple, but it was a big challenge for me:
Take. it. slow.
Can't figure out how a lick or riff works? Slow down. Both the music you're trying to work out AND your own playing. It helps figuring out the notes, right position for your fingers and so on. I cannot remember HOW MANY times I was told to slow down and take the time to listen.
Another thing I'm still learning but which is also really helpful is actually listening. I never take the time to like consume the music. So I'm learning to take the time to just sit down or lay down in a dark room, headphones on, eyes closed, to just listen and feel the music. That's what helps me understand why I'm drawn to specific things. I don't do this as much as I'd like to yet, but when I do, it's a great time.
And just for fun I keep a playlist with songs that inspire me. Could be because of a nice guitar solo, could be the lyrics or a specific line, maybe because it has a synth sound I like, could be anything. As soon as I hear a song and I feel a spark, it goes to the playlist. I also like watching the Trogly's Guitar Show on yt every once in a while and Rick Beato has some awesome videos in which he breaks down what makes a song great.
A book I enjoyed a lot was Zen Guitar by Philip Toshio Sudo.
I can also recommend finding a 'comfort song' to play whenever you don't know what to play but want to spend time with your guitar. For me it's Street Spirit by Radiohead. I use it as a warm up, to me it's relatively simple and I just LOVE the chords. Or perhaps find a few chords you like the sound of that you can play when you feel stuck and rusty.
The Steve Vai Workout is a book with tons of exercises you can do to train technical skills and hand flexibility. I use some of those too when I feel uninspired.
And a last thing... Or a few last things maybe. Explore music outside of your regular music. And if you can, go see some bands and musicians live. Shows always fill me with new energy and a massive boost of 'damn I want to do that too'.
OKAY really the last thing: be kind to yourself. It's ok if you didn't play for longer than 5 minutes, it's okay if you skipped a day. Are your hands and wrists starting to hurt? Take a break, stretch, go for a walk, you name it.

Hi Jenn :) How much creative licence do you think authors can have with altering real-life locations for their needs? Probably a terrible example, but... if a book is set in a city that doesn't have a big lake nearby, but there's nothing IRL that would make a lake implausible (like, it's not in a desert), how do you feel about characters visiting a fictional nearby lake for various plot reasons? Or is there too much risk of local readers being like THERE IS NO LAKE HERE WTF
Hmm - there aren't hard-and-fast "rules" about this -- but in MY opinion -- I probably wouldn't change major landmarks or geographical features of a real place. Like if you want them to be in a town that has a cute row of galleries and shops and a thriving Main Street and a university AND a lake nearby and the possibility of skiing in winter etc etc -- and you can't find a real town that encompasses ALL of these things -- why not just make up a town, in the general region of the place you are basing this on?
So like, your town is Brightsville, NY, a thriving village in the Hudson Valley that has an influx of wealthy Manhattanites and tourists, but also "townies" who have lived there for generations and run farms etc -- it has a pond in the middle of town where you can ice skate in winter, and nearby waterfalls and skiing in the Catskills, and a lake and the Hudson River, you can go boating or kayaking or whatever, and it has a fancy college nearby -- and you made it up. Is it LIKE Rhinebeck, NY? Yes, sure, it's LIKE Rhinebeck. But Rhinebeck doesn't have an ice rink in the middle of town, nor is it on the same side of the river as the Catskills, and while it has fancy colleges *kind of* nearby, they aren't in town or anything. Is it like Tivoli? Sure, except while Tivoli has a seasonal ice rink and a fancy college, it is smaller. Is it like Woodstock? Sure, but Woodstock doesn't have a fancy college that nearby, etc etc. It's your own thing, an amalgam.
If you SAID it was Rhinebeck, but you placed the college within walking distance and added an ice rink and put it super close to the Catskills -- people would, quite rightly, be like "umm... no it ain't" -- which would take them out of the story. But nobody has BEEN to BRIGHTSVILLE, because you made it up! So it can have all the features you want.
If, for the story you are telling, you have to set it in a real place like NYC or Madison WI or whatever -- that's fine. In that case, I'd say it's OK to make up things like restaurants, bars, apartment buildings and other man-made things that are liable to change often and not everyone knows about anyway, but I probably would not make up or move major landmarks (like the Brooklyn Bridge, NYPL, Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, etc, probably ought to stay where they are!) OR geological features such as mountains, lakes, etc. If they are in NYC and they need a lake, they can go to the one in Central Park, or take a mini road trip to somewhere else. (And perhaps you've made up that "somewhere else" - and it has a lake!)

some say that working for a pro hero is an honour, no matter what the position is. some may work behind the scenes— creating gear and suits that support the pros protecting their cities or livelihoods. others are in charge of things like reports, PR and even physical health. everyone plays an important role in a hero's career. there’s never a dull moment working in a team supporting the pros, especially if that pro was dynamight.
the offices for katsuki bakugou’s hero agency were always buzzing; usually because the clean up team were rushing through with stacks upon stacks of receipts and paperwork from the damage done during bakugou’s patrols— other times it would be his secretaries gossiping about how good he looks in his winter costume because damn did that tight black shirt do his arms justice but usually it was just because of the PR team contacting media outlets with excuses for bakugou’s potty mouth.
working for the hot headed blonde was more laid back than it seemed however, the man himself was rarely ever in the office as the number two hero but out on missions instead, the pay was pretty decent and no one ever really faced his angry wrath nor his sailor like mouth unless they had royally fucked up on their job. katsuki bakugou was someone to admire, he never gave a damn about what people had to say about him— he only cared about getting the job done and maybe that’s why most people enjoyed their time under the dynamight agency.
particularly this time, right around noon.
the doors to the floor of the secretary offices fly open, crashing loudly against the walls and drawing the staff from their daily work. this office space is around ten floors up and somehow you’ve made it in record time today. “where is he?” your voice crawls through the entrance of the room, settling over the workers like a thick fog— commanding, menacing and soft all at the same time. newbies cower in their boots, confused at what’s going on and it’s safe to presume those who have been working here for years have yet to give them the run down. “don’t make me ask again.” you add, eyes darkening as you cast your gaze across the room.
an intern approaches you, visibly shaking with fear which makes you loosen your stance and raise an eyebrow toward them. “he-uh... he just went for his lunch break—“ the stutter, gulping under the stare of another highly ranked pro hero. “in his...office— ma’am!” they stumble through their words, hiding behind the ungodly amount of paperwork that's been dumped into their hands. you make a mental note to chew bakugou out on the load his interns have been getting as well as your prior reasons for coming to his agency.
nonetheless you shake your head and drop the frown, a sweet smile quickly replacing the look that could put anyone six feet under if you really tried. with a tap to the side of your head, the visor to your hero costume rises above your eyes— allowing you to give the poor little intern a cheeky wink as thanks. “‘ppreciate it darling, have a good one!” you thank them properly with a ruffle to their hair, resuming your previous stance as you march the rest of the way through the office and kick open the door at the end of the room.
the intern sags, a whimper of relief passing from tired lips while they wipe at the sweat forming on their brow. they’d not even encountered their boss yet and they’d already come face to face with a top pro hero. “w-what’s her deal?”
a chuckle to the left of the poor kid startles them out of their mind; but they relax upon realising it’s just another one of dynamight’s secretaries— haruto, who’d apparently been working at the agency since it started up. “that’s nightsky, her quirk is lullaby, which allows her to control certain people if she hits the right note. she can also put them to sleep, if she really wants to,” the intern now perks up, remembering you from countless interviews on tv. you ranked pretty highly too, managing to the reach the top five this year along with others like shoto and deku. “she owns the hero agency across the street, herself and dynamight have been going at it ever since. it’s like they’re elderly lovers or somethin‘.”
“d-do you think they are? lovers like you say?” the intern asks a little too excitedly, touching at their messy hair from where you’d ruffled it. a crimson blush warms their cheeks, the idea of two pros playing enemies to the public eye but being lovers in secret seemed like something right out of a romance novel. how romantic.
haruto only chuckles at the newbie, standing to ruffle their hair as well before heading over to the coffee stand to fix himself a cup. “beats me,” he mumbles cheerily as he walks away, arms crossed behind his head. “but with the way yn bursts in here at the same time everyday to scold bakugou, and leaves with a huge smile on her face— i wouldn’t put it past them. they probably have a whole life together.” he taps his nose once as if he’s given away too much information, turning away without a word.
the intern hums, seemingly happy with their superior’s answer and easily heads back to work from there.
Tumblr media
katsuki bakugou was bored out of his mind.
being a successful pro hero was all he’d ever wanted— being the number two pro hero just came with that. bakugou wanted to get to the top and show everyone he was the best of the best and with him being blessed with a powerful quirk there was no way he couldn’t be where he was today. yet, now that he’d finally achieved his dream all he wanted was a fucking break. the blonde stares down at his microwaveable bowl of home cooked stew, a frown cutting deep into his cheeks. it was his lunch break for crying out loud, but instead of scarfing down the delicious meal before him, the hero was forced to watch it cool as some dumb fuck reporter asked him questions over the phone.
the telephone interview ( or a waste of his fucking time, as katsuki had called it ) , had been set up by his PR team right after he’d taken down a couple low level villains downtown earlier this morning. katsuki had called it nothing but apparently the whole world and their mother had been on his ass, watching as he took the criminals down with ease and raving about how glorious dynamight was during that fight. the reporter drones on about said event, asking the same old questions and it takes everything within the hot headed pro not to blow a casket— he’d been promised a few extra days off from his manager if he could finish the interview without blowing something up and only god knew how much katsuki needed a break from dumb paps and some overly obsessive fans.
‘so, final question, how does it feel to be the number two?’
bakugou grunts, buying himself time to formulate an answer. what he really wants to do is kindly tell the reporter to fuck off and ask more original questions; but with the prize of a longer weekend hanging in the balance he bites his tongue for the sake of freedom. “well i—“
“katsuki bakugou.” your voice cuts through his sentence before he can finish, vermillion eyes land on your hero costume clad form as you burst into his office. a lazy smirk now decorates the hero’s lips, brow quirked with piqued interest. “i have a bone to pick with you, you motherfucker.”
the reporter on the other end falls silent as katsuki watches you, leaning back in his plush leather chair. you look slightly disheveled, costume torn in a few places, scrapes littering your skin as you pant heavily from exertion— chest rising and falling with every breath, it seems ragged and bakugou makes a mental note to remind you to get your ribs checked out later. “you’re late, shitty woman.” the number two sits up a little straighter as you enter the room, leaning up to look at you while you slam your hands down on the smooth marble desk— the force rattling the items he has neatly placed on it.
‘uh-? mister...dynamight-? sir?’
your eyes sweep the room while the pro before you deals with the reporter, mentioning to her that they’ll have to continue their call later. in the meantime, you note that katsuki’s office is meticulously clean, not a single book, folder or pen out of place— it’s high up with a perfect view of the city and the large windows allow golden beams of the sun to light up the room. the sound of a phone being placed back on its hook brings you from your thoughts; annoyance settling deep in your veins as you turn to face bakugou again.
“i had it,” you growl lowly, jumping the gun before he can even register what you’ve said. “i’m a grown woman, katsuki, i can handle a couple of criminals myself, you know.”
the blasting hero does nothing but smirk even wider at the irked tone that litters your voice, standing up as well to tower over you. bakugou still wears his own hero costume, considerably in less damage than yours— not a single tear had formed in his suit, mind the small scratches on his face no doubt from his stupid explosions creating some debris. leaning over the desk between you, bakugou uses a forefinger and thumb to tilt your head up, bringing you even closer than before. “clearly y’didn’t sweetheart, or otherwise that icyhot bastard wouldn’t have needed to back you up ‘fore i got there...” his timbre voice sends sparks of electricity through the air in the room, it’s low and gravelly which is enough to send shivers down your spine but you’re not about to let katsuki bakugou know that he makes you flustered— it’d go straight to his head, the cocky bastard.
nonetheless; you roll your eyes at the mention of your old classmate and fellow pro hero— shoto todoroki. yourself and shoto got along fairly well, even back in high school, so it was normal for you to work together from time to time; you both made a great team and your skill set complimented each other’s well. katsuki was just jealous. he never really got along with todoroki like that. “he didn’t back me up, we were working together,” you snap back at the blonde, shaking yourself from bakugou’s grasp and flicking him right between those alluring vermillion eyes. “something you might not be familiar with, mister number two.” bakugou backs away from you completely ( only wincing slightly ), making you smirk in victory. you’ve struck a nerve. deciding to leave the conversation at that, you turn to make your exit as he collapses back into his seat with a deathly scowl and a quiet ‘tch’. “like i said, i had it, dynamight. next time, don’t jump in uninvited.”
happy that you got the last laugh, you open the door to leave his office but pause when a wave of heat hits your back. you should have known, katsuki bakugou was never one to back down from a challenge and you certainly weren’t an exception. well shit. when you turn around to face the blonde, small explosions spark from his right hand and he has some what of a look of a feral pomeranian, blood red eyes full of rage.
you visibly gulp and katsuki growls out his next words with the upmost venom, designed to hurt and cut at your feelings. “well maybe y’sudda let the actual pros handle shit like this,” bakugou begins, voice rising in volume with every syllable that passes his lips. “we both know you’re no good at short distance attacks with your quirk, shitty woman, you couldn’t have taken those villains down without me.” the blonde finishes with a short ‘tsk’, settling the explosions that spark in his palms. now it’s your turn to be pissed. you could handle katsuki’s jealousy, his petty reasoning for joining you on your patrol and taking the credit but bashing you and your quirk? no way in hell would he get away with that.
“bakugou?”
“what? the fuck y’still here for?”
you roll your shoulders, gracing the blonde with a devilish smile as your eyes light up mischievously. “why are you hitting yourself, bakugou?” you sing, hitting just the right notes that will have him under your spell, the tone in your voice as smooth as chocolate. katsuki’s eyes widen in horror and before he can stop himself, his free hand comes up to slap him across the face. that was your quirk, lullaby. you had the ability to sing your way out of any situation— adjusting the tune of your song to control the actions of certain individuals or groups of people. it was near impossible to resist but the more people you used your quirk on, the weaker your control over them was. that doesn’t mean you weren’t going to use it on bakugou from time to time. the blonde tries to fight it, he really does, but he’s no use up against your ability— losing all control of his own body. he grunts on impact, looking bewildered for a moment as he moves to grab his own wrist to stop any impending blows. “not so cocky now, are we dynamight?”
“h-hey!” he stammers, refusing to accept defeat against you. “shitty woman, no fuckin’ fair. you know i can’t use my quirk against you in here.” he was right, while your quirk was poor against short distance attacks ( meaning you had to result to hand to hand combat ), bakugou couldn’t use his own in enclosed spaces without hurting anyone he didn’t want to. especially you, he would never hurt you intentionally unless you were sparring.
“shoulda thought about that before you decided to taunt me, you know better than to piss off your wife, katsu.” you chide, still smiling just as brightly as you were earlier, before taking a seat on his desk and folding one leg over the other. it was quite amusing to watch your husband of four years fight against himself— everyone knew katsuki had an unbelievable amount of strength even without his quirk so he was definitely beating himself up ( literally and figuratively ).
bakugou looks up at you through gritted teeth while he struggles to keep the wrist you have control of down and you almost feel bad for the guy. “turn it off, dammit!” he curses at you, said hand rising above his free one to tug at his own sun kissed locks.
feigning interest in the objects on your lover's desk, you ignore his pleas for you to release him from the holds of your quirk and hum “apologise.”
“f-fuck... fuck y-you.”
you sigh knowingly, picking up a hand crafted paperweight, covered in glitter and sequin stars,  inspecting it carefully. bakugou could hardly ever say the word ‘sorry’, it was just in his nature and he’d been that way since you were young. part of you knows it’s because of how he was treated as a child where people praised him for his quirk. that meant he became prideful yes, thought highly of himself too and struggled to admit when others were right...but he had his own way of apologising— through actions instead of words.
like when you first moved in together and he had broken your favourite mug, instead of saying he was sorry, he spent all night super glueing it back together for you to use in the morning. to him, actions were louder than words but you right now; you were being mean and just wanted to hear him say it.
“fuck fuck, fine. alright. ‘m sorry.” bakugou lets out a strained growl as the hand you control gives a particularly hard yank to his hair. “i’m sorry for lying about your quirk. it’s not shitty…’n ‘m sorry for... barging in on your patrol. again.” you grin, satisfied with his answer and grab the hand he keeps down with his wrist. you press a simple kiss to the skin, making your husband blush as you release your hold over the limb. katsuki shyly yanks it from your grip, rubbing over the area that you’d kissed, shooting his gaze to the side in the process. “jesus shitty woman, if i don’t die from being a hero or of old fucking age, i know for a fact you’ll be the one to kill me first.” he mutters harshly under his breath, but you know he’s only kidding from the way his hands now fall to your thighs and his fingers rub small circles into the exposed skin.
“pro hero nightsky murders number two pro hero dynamight in cold blood!” you joke as if you’re reading a headline in a news article, katsuki only glares up at you— making no effort to curse you out because of your shitty joke, which causes you to frown while leaning  forward to brush some of his hair away from his face. “you know i’m only kidding right? is something wrong? did i come at a bad time?”
it’s only now that you notice the exhausted expression that paints your lover’s face. he’s always up to playing this game with you, at the same time every day— you come to bother him about some trivial matter, tease him a bit and leave with a kiss. but today, you can tell he’s trying to hide something from you. something that bothers him.
bakugou shakes his head, leaning into your touch as you play with his hair— a habit he’d picked up from even before you started dating back in high school, although he’d never admit that to you if you’d asked. “nothin’, just this stupid fuckin’ interview the PR team want me to do about the fight today. the one i took from you,” your husband smirks slightly at the thought and you roll your eyes for what seems like the nine hundredth time that afternoon. “didn’t get to finish my fuckin’ lunch but they promised me a couple days off if i got the interview done.”
“better the number two than me, eh? but don’t worry, i’ll order us some take out tonight,” your suggest, voice coming out as soft and mingling with your slight giggle— a quiet melody to katsuki’s ears. your only reply from him is a grunt, so you stop your fingers in his hair and watch as he scowls up at you. you quickly press a kiss to the explosive hero’s lips, pulling away to reveal his blushing face. you smile, knowing that you’re the only one who can make him flush red like that. “there’s something else bothering you, isn’t there?”
if there’s one thing katsuki bakugou hates, it’s how you read him like an open book. one look at him and it’s like you know exactly how he’s feeling. he can never hide anything from you— sometimes that both pisses him off and reminds him of how much he is loved by you. he hesitates with his words at first but decides to confide in you anyway, knowing that you’ll get it out of him in one way or another. “‘m worried about you, dumbass.” he mumbles, nudging your hand with his head as if to ask you to continue your earlier actions. “i know you had it, yer fuckin’ powerful but you looked so tired in that fight today ‘n i thought something bad was gonna happen to you, y’fuckin’ shitty woman.”
he toys with the tears in your costume now, smoothing over scars from your bumps and scratches as a result of combat. “oh lovebug,” you mumble, cupping his cheeks to make him look up at you. “you know i can handle my own, they just took a lot out of me today. i promise i’ll—“
“that’s not it, fuck,” katsuki cuts you off, brows furrowing deeply as he grabs your wrists— pulling your from his desk and into his lap. he holds you close, burying his nose into your neck as if you’re going to disappear. you sit still, a little shocked by his actions and his quick change of mood, but wrap your arms around him anyway and slowly fall silent. “it's just that...we’re both pros now and at the top of our ranks ‘n we both have a lot to lose.” you instinctively cling tighter to katsuki, mind flickering to the homemade paperweight you’d spotted on his desk earlier... causing your heart clench.
your daughter had made that for him during her time at preschool for fathers day; something your husband cherished with his whole heart, even if the thing was still sticky with glue when he’d gotten it.
katsuki loved taiga more than anything in the world and if something had happened to her because of your line of work, you don’t know what either of you would do. “what if something were to happen to you? or to me? or shit...both of us? who would look after taiga? you know what happens to kids who end up in the fucking system.” bakugou pauses, the same tired expression from earlier now sitting heavily on his face. “i just want you to be careful, stop pushing yourself so much, y’fuckin’ dumbasss. we have a family take care of. it’s not just you and i anymore.”
you nod, grasping onto your lover’s clothes tightly. the air is flooded with a comfortable silence, the pair of you holding one another right the way through it. you treasure moments like this, where the world stops and katsuki shows you another, more vulnerable side to him.
he would never admit or show this to anyone; but he cares , more than he lets on... especially for you and especially for your daughter. he was attentive, paid attention to you and your weaknesses and helped you overcome them. it was something you couldn’t stop loving about him. “i promise to be more careful, for you and for taiga,” you say quietly after he’s done scolding you, brushing your lips against the side of his head in a soft peck. “that must’ve been why jumped in earlier, you were worried about me?”
“somethin’ like that, you crazy woman,,” bakugou whispers, there’s a tinge of fondness to his ruby eyes as you pull away to look at him, his hands settling on your hips while he moves up to press a soft kiss to your awaiting lips. “didn’t want you getting yourself killed.”
you stay with katsuki in the office for a little longer than usual, laying on his chest as he prattles away about everything and anything even though he should be working. you make sure he eats his lunch, despite how cold it is and promise him a boat load of take out when he comes home later— your sweet cuddling session only being cut short by a call from your assistant to tell you that your daughter is ready to be picked up from school. “better finish that interview katsu, taiga’ll be happy to know her daddy’s getting some time off to spend with her soon,” you remind him as you gather yourself together, your husband pouting ( he swears on his life he wasn’t ) from the loss of your warmth in his lap. “she has a lot to tell you.”
the blonde quirks a brow, watching you as you head for the door. “yeah? like what?” a hand comes up to cover your mouth as you giggle at his curious face. sometimes, when you look at katsuki, you could see how much your daughter resembles him, right down to his mannerisms. she had somehow inherited the shape of your nose and the brightness of your smile ( the only reason barely anyone realised bakugou had a kid, he never fucking smiled. ) but the bakugou genes were incredibly strong so there was no way she’d miss out on those crimson eyes and uncontrollable, untameable messy blonde hair.
she even acted like him. a very brazen little girl who knew what she wanted and how to get it, so she had her daddy wrapped around her stubby little fingers.
you grin, eyes sparkling with the same mischief as before. “oh y’know, just her little crush on midoriya’s boy.”
“yer fuckin’ kiddin’ me.”
“i would never joke about such a thing,  just make sure you’re home in time for dinner, number two!” you squeal, dashing out of the office before your husband has time to demand more answers from you. slamming the door shut, you chuckle at the melody of curses that leave your husbands mouth before heading off to pick up your daughter.
on your way, you admit to yourself , that maybe you didn’t have this fight in the bag. but what you did have; was a loving husband, a beautiful daughter and the best life you could have ever imagined.

extended ending:
“so, taiga... daddy hears you have a little... crush on someone.”
you’re in the kitchen, washing the dishes from tonight’s dinner as bakugou wipes tentatively at your little girl’s messy face— she was a poor eater but it’s something you didn’t mind, not when your husband was so soft with cleaning her up. you can see them from where you stand, watching katsuki knowingly.
taiga looks up from the colouring you’d set out for her when she finished up her meal, crimson eyes shining brightly as she fixes her gaze on her father. “mhm mhm!! he’s mister deku’s son! and i’m gonna marry him!”
“no yer not.” bakugou answers simply, looking close to popping a vein.
“why not?”
your husband scoffs, throwing away the tissue he’d used to clean his little girl up before joining her in her colouring. “‘cause daddy says so ‘n boys are gross, especially ones who’s dad’s look like broccoli.” the older ash blonde seems satisfied with his answer, grinning to himself as you dry the dishes with an amused smile.
but taiga isn’t finished, swapping her green crayon for a red one to finish up her drawing. “but you’re a boy...and mommy still married you!”
bakugou pauses, lost for words as taiga continues to colour— humming the theme song from a commercial for some of deku’s merch. you can tell it’s taking everything katsuki’s got not to combust right there on the spot, but he can’t stay mad at taiga for too long, not when she’s describing her wedding and how her daddy is going to walk her down the isle.
setting the dishes to dry and towelling your hands; you smile to yourself as you admire your family. some would say you had it all, and looking at the pair of bakugou’s now, who were you to deny the truth.
