We covered conflict before. We denounced PMs' positions as wrong before. But this is where the editor balks - anything that makes it look even vaguely like we might, possibly, support Gaza. Even if the article itself would not have been an opinion piece, but a news feature about events on the ground.

We have free press, baby! But avoid the matter entirely if you can. It's delicate and depressing, why would you talk about it? Don't rock the boat. Be quiet. You don't need to go there.

Gentle reminder that if something makes you go "no way!" you might want to fact check... and if you aren't sure what to google, you can also skim the post notes to see if someone else has already done it. you know, a plothole (kinda, its one to me) i havent even talked about before is .. how is there basically no sonau tech in the past, or isnt shown nor used; the only thing i remember is that weird half assed way to try and make us care about the apparent time zelda had spent there and tell us in a tiny text you have to find scattered above the sky that she "tamed a construct beast" which .... could be anything bc its so vague and non-interesting and .. maybe one or two non-combat constructs in the background in a few of the cutscenes

but given how many constructs there are alive in totks present, and more are broken down that were probably working back in the past, did they even use anything of it against ganondorf? like, i know its called a war but we only see ganondorf charging on that badass horse we never see again and that bit lasts like .. 5 seconds? and he just ... somehow ends up in that cave so far below the earth with the other sages? HOW did he even get there

the constructs you find in the game can be pretty tanky and packing quite a punch, theres auto-targeting mini tanks, lasers and fire/electric/ice throwers, bombs and otherwise explosives, couldnt they have easily fought against some bokblins even if they were miasmafied

or am i supposed to believe ganondorf became THAT strong just through that little magic pebble (isnt that a little insulting too?), while all the other stone having people are so much more inferior AND have gans bossfight not be that hard is kinda ... weird? i know link is special an all, but he doesnt have a stone and the sages dont really add to his powerlevel, the msot they do is distract gans little clones for a bit

doesnt that, and how irrelevant the whole sonau tech actually is to the plot, feel even more like its a thing put in there just to showcase that they could do it (like ... a tech demo) and like its an unfitting sandbox element just for some very dedicated players to build entire war maschines for viral videos out of but the vast majority will not have that kind of patience nor fun with that (i for one do not care to laser explode or otherwise terrorize little enemy camps with otherwise overly ridiculous weapons bc its not fun and really not worth the effort to me)

To be honest Anon, he would have to want to, and just like canon, he deflects blame constantly. He cannot accept when he is wrong. He never has.

He canonically uses his size to intimidate others. He trained with his father and really considered killing Firestar. He disowned the 3 for not being his blood relative and proceeded to ignore them (I think he had a right to be UPSET with Squilf for hiding it, but the way he acted after was terrible). He treated Squilf like shit and everything yuri-dovewing is reading about right now in Squirrelflight's Hope is sickening.

He holds her desire for another litter against her, belittles her constantly, infantilizes her and micromanages her, before whining that he has to because otherwise she'll undermine him...

He also did nothing to stop the separation of Violetkit and Twigkit, not to mention stop Lionpaw from being beaten by Ashfur because Ashfur buttered him up, along with being quite mean towards the kids during Outcast. All of this is canon stuff. No WCR additions. He just isn't a good person, and doesn't feel bad about it.

Instead of Bramblestar being redeemed, what about his kids getting better lives away from him? The Three moving on with their gaggle of parents. Alderheart moving out of Thunderclan, Sparkpelt healing and being able to relax for once, Dandeliontuft learning to accept herself.

How about Skybranch in Skyclan learning that one of the cats who ripped her away from her sister is gone, has finally faced consequences?

How about Squirrelflight finally getting to be happy?

OK but the way that the Musical itself seems to reflect the comics characterisation more then the show (Re-instating the love triangle, Jughead constantly bringing up food and seemingly having no interest in women, Cheryl supposedly being into Archie) and then the show characters actively reject those characterisations and one by one leave and/or strive to change the Musical (Betty and Veronica change their song from a love song about Archie to a love song about each other and kiss, thus subverting the love triangle and meanwhile Archie, instead of protesting this, decides separately to end the love triangle to focus on himself, Jughead leaves the Musical after the first number deeming it beneath him, Cheryl alongside Toni campaign for a queer love song and leave when it isn't added.) Hell, Archie isn't even in the Musical by the end, literally symbolising that the Archie in the musical isn't Riverdale Archie, thus separating Riverdale further from the comics canon and restating that while on paper the show is based off of the Archie comics it is in name only for the most part and in practice basically none of these characters could (or should, in the eyes of the writer's in all likelyhood) be considered the same as their comic counterparts—

Out of curiosity- what's the weirdest thing another trans person has told you regarding transhetness?

probably the most offensive one has to be that time someone said i would never have to worry that people wont accept my sexuality. because in my life that has not been the case lmao. like i am still TRANS so generally someone who doesnt accept homosexuality isnt gonna be thrilled with trans ppl either, like those kinds of people who are homophobic but not transphobic really only exist in terfs brains lol

and the least personally offensive one would have to be that one person who said "you cant be straight as a trans person, this push for sameness is really hurting our community" like damn rly didnt think i was gonna get called an assimmilist for like, being a heterosexual lmao my bad

also im not straight passing irl either, but i am cis passing, so whenever i bring up that im dating a girl i get to visibly watch the gears turn in peoples heads as they try to figure out how this little gay boy fucks women which is always fun

i think generally a lot of weirdness i get probably comes from the fact that for one, a lot of people view queerness and gayness as the same, and queerness and heterosexuality as opposites, and especially people in my specific generation (older gen z) and especially the cis people/recently cracked eggs rly have put emphasis on "gayness" and "being gay" and take on "being gay" as the same meaning as being queer, so when they meet someone who is queer but is explicitly NOT gay (and this is more than transhet people, this can be anyone who is queer but doesnt identify as gay, including same gender attracted people of all sorts of sexualities/genders), they really dont know what to do with us, and for two im southern and live in the south and people here are not usually very imformed about different flavors of queerness and for some people im lucky if i get them to understand that im trans at all, let alone telling them im a heterosexual, because im not exaggerating when i tell you that pretty much everyone expects me to be gay no matter the fact that i have a girlfriend and havent dated a man since 2021 lol

i feel like such a loser sometimes

my sister has been sick for two days. all she has is a sore throat so we’re not actually sure she’s sick, it could be that she’s not drinking enough water. but my mom has told her to eat something before school, take some advil and drink some tea.

my mom even made it a point to tell me to make sure she drinks tea later because “your sis isn’t feeling well”..

i have been fully sick for a week. coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose w blood in the tissue and my voice is literally disappearing.. yet my mom hasn’t said any of this to me

so here i am.. jealous of the attention my little sister is getting. which is so fucking pathetic

and i have no one to talk to because my bsf doesn’t usually care abt anything i have to say and the guy im talking to is too self absorbed to even ask me anything about myself..

i’m losing my little community do to lack of motivation as well so it’s a matter of time before i’m completely alone again 🤩
