The Ideals Of Gaen (Drabble)
A Rarity's Birthday Day Festival 2024 🎁 (For my Boo, my Boyfriend, Jeff aka @throneofein)
Tumblr media
The Amanosuzu's Groups' annual gala was always an event Mokuba enjoyed attending. No one quite threw a party like his eldest friend did, everything from the food, to the decorations, to the events being picked to perfection. Yes, the event was very much formal, as one would expect, but it wasn't 'stuffy' like other parties he's attended. He was actually enjoying himself for once in his life.
While his brother was handling business discussions (as that was the only reason his brother was attending this to begin with), Mokuba had settled out to find where his friends from Aibo Academy were. Part of the festivities was, no surprise to anyone, a Buddyfight competition. The person who obtains the most wins within the time limit was to win a special secret prize that Suzuha told him was well worth the effort. They even were lending out loaner decks and Core Deck Cases just in case anyone who wanted to participate could. It was a rather smart and fun marketing idea, one Mokuba might have to keep in his back pocket for a future event for the company.
His search for his friends through the spacious castle estate is suddenly halted as he notices someone randomly (at least it appeared that way) staring at one of the paintings in the hallway. Specifically, it was one of the few portraits of Tasuku Ryuenji that Lady Suzuha had hung around the place. She sure wasn't making her crush on him any more evident with stunts like this. Though, what was of interest to the boy was not the actions but more so who was doing it, purple hues scanning the appearance of the person trying to figure out who it was and why...he looked so familiar.
White hair with crimson tips, eyes that reminded one of a dragon's eye, dropped in reds and golds...He looked like something out of a video game, like a demonic prince kind of character. It's that thought that finally clicks in just who this is, Mokuba suddenly remembering a conversation he had at last year's event, one in which he had been actually introduced to the stranger who was apparently an old friend of Suzuha's...
Tumblr media
"K-Kyoya Gaen, head of the Gaen Financial Group...right?"
"A pleasure to see you again, Mokuba Kaiba, Vice President of Kaiba Corporation." The other smiles at him in response. It was a smile that was cordial, almost perfect one might say.
"You here to admire the artwork as well? I must say the artist here really did capture Tasuku Ryuenji's likeness, don't you agree?"
"I-I guess so..." An attempt at a response as Mokuba placed his hands in his pocket from the awkwardness of a sudden conversation. "...b-but I'm actually looking for my friends. They're taking place in the Buddyfight event tonight."
"Oh, are they? Well, I'm sure they're somewhere around here. Lady Suzuha has quite a number of fighting arenas on this property. It is impressive. A shame I won't be able to use one of them."
"...You're not competing?" That was odd. From Mokuba's understanding, Kyoya Gaen was much like Tasuku and Seto in being rather gifted at games, especially Buddyfight and chess. You'd think he'd jump on the chance to show off his skills. Then again, his brother was rather 'selective' in who he played games with. Perhaps the teen head was much the same.
"I, unfortunately, have other business to attend to tonight that prevents me from doing so. Though, I am interested to see the...talent of the fighters on display. The newly upgraded Core Deck Cases make such grand Buddyfights possible, and of course, we have your company to thank for that, yes?"
"Y-Yeah..." He confirms what the other should probably know already. "The Core Deck Cases virtual protection technology is a version of Kaiba Corp's Solid Vision that was developed for the Duel Disk that was combined with the previous system. It was a...great collaboration between our company and the Amanosuzu Group's gaming division that's helped both of us."
"Indeed. Your brother's Solid Vision technology is exquisite. Truly, remarkable. Though, if I may be honest with you, I think the potential of your company's technology is being a bit...wasted, don't you think?"
Tumblr media
"...Excuse me?" His remark sounds like a perfect blend of both confusion and offense, with a hint of a lowered tone that is all too similar to that of his brother.
"Oh, I meant no insult by my words, I assure you. I mean them as only a compliment! Kaiba Corporation's technology is truly innovative, unlike anything I've ever seen. That's why I think there is...so much b that could be done with it other than just game development. Your recent Kaiba Land project is a perfect example of this. Just think of what other possibilities could be made into reality with such technology, what good things it can do for this world."
"W-What do you mean?"
"Well, your technology certainly has brought many people together. Such is the power of games. Now, think of what it could do if it was applied to something on...a broader scale. Why, one might say it could potentially...change this troubled world of ours." The other's eyes narrowed with that last statement, shifting into something that seemed almost 'dangerous'.
"Change the world...?" He takes a step back, almost as if trying to get away.
"This world of ours is full of unnecessary suffering. Surely you of all people are aware of that fact..." Hearing that causes Mokuba's eyes to wince, as if he was just hit by a slashing blade. Did...Did he know about his past, something that wasn't public knowledge? "I simply think it is the responsibility of those of us with great power and resources to do something about it. So, I ask you..."
A hand is then extended to the young boy, a gesture that makes him pause and stare at it for what felt like forever.
"Will you become my friend, and together, help me change the fate of the world?"
Despite the 'genuine' smile on the other's face and the seeming normality of the gesture, there was this tension in the air that he couldn't shake. The way Kyoya was acting...What he was saying...It all should make him feel one way, but...it wasn't. Instead of feeling touched by his sentiment and wanting to help a clearly noble cause, instead wanted to run and seek help, as if facing down a monster.
Tumblr media
"Uh...Uh..." He stutters in his words, frozen in place and shaken to his core. What should he do? What does he say? What can you even say to something like that?
It is after a few long moments that Mokuba comes to his answer. He takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself, and then looks the other directly in the eye, as best he could anyway. "I'm...I'm sure whatever you're thinking of is...great, but...I-I don't think I or...Kaiba Corp is right to help you with all that. I'm...I'm sorry."
One would expect such a rejection would make Kyoya react in some negative way. However, he remains...weirdly calm. He simply draws his hand back, Mokuba watching his actions intently as he then provides his vocal response.
"It's quite alright, Mr. Kaiba. I completely understand. I might have come off too strongly there. I simply couldn't help but discuss the potential of your company's technology in service of the world, and of you as my friend. Please, accept my apologies."
"It's...fine." It wasn't really, since the poor kid was now an anxious wreck, but what else could he say?
"I'm certain we'll meet again, and...that in time, you and your brother will no doubt come to see things my way, and we can all work together for a better world, a better future for us all, as friends." Kyoya's draconian hus stared right into the boy's soul as he spoke, him seemingly etching his words, which sounded like a threat, into it as if it were a stone.
"W-What are you-"
Mokuba is then cut off as the head then walks away, disappearing into the many halls of the castle when the boy had a chance to follow him. He can only stand still in silence as he tries to process what he just went through, a million questions running through his mind as his heart raced in his ears. Throughout it all though, the only thing that made sense was this: that Kyoya Gaen was a man to watch out for and that something was coming...coming he just didn't like...

Hey! I'd love to grab another matchup if they're still open! If I could get male, romantic matchup for Demon Slayer, Ouran Highschool Host Club, and Detroit Become Human please 💗 Same stuff, but I’m more on the professional reserved side at first, but once I open up I’m a lot more relaxed and have a dark sense of humor! In a partner, passion is the main thing I’m looking for. Also dweebs are my jam, and intelligence, I need someone who’s mentally engaging. I like confidence, but I also like a nervous/somewhat insecure partner! As far as things I don’t like, I’m not into the “bad-boy” or cruel types as much, or a temper.
Hello again lovely! I hope you like your matchups!
Demon Slayer Matchup: I pair you with… Iguro Obanai!
Tumblr media
Ok, so I know what you’re probably thinking.
“But Fairy! He already has Mitsuri and is incredibly mean!”
I KNOW BUT HEAR ME OUT
Iguro is so kind and loving towards those he cares about. He cradled Mitsuri as she died and was so scared of scaring people away with his facial scars. He cares so deeply for his snake as well, and that profound caring nature would transfer to his relationship with you.
He’s a professional first and foremost with his job, even if he is a little cold towards Tanjiro and Co. BUT! He loves you so deeply, and it would probably kill him if you decided you didn’t want him anymore. Iguro is also insecure about his capabilities as a demon slayer despite being a Hashira.
Ouran High School Host Club Matchup: I pair you with… Ootori Kyoya!
Tumblr media
Kyoya is the king of confidence, but that changes when the two of you meet. He isn’t out of character or anything, but he comes across as very distant because he’s terrified of the feelings he has for you. But, once in your third year at Ouran Academy, Tamaki actually sets you up on a blind date, and you both end up hitting it off.
Oh, the conversations you both have! Kyoya has so many opinions on so many things, and he is so mentally engaging that sometimes it feels like you are mentally playing chess every time you two talk! He’s passionate in his opinions and strives for the best in everything he does.
Something Kyoya appreciates about you is your professional and reserved side at first and your relaxed side when you open up. It was one of the things that drew him to you in the first place. Your dark sense of humor is also one of the only things to make him laugh as well :)
Detroit: Become Human Matchup: I pair you with… Markus!
Tumblr media
(This is peaceful revolution Markus. Cause that is best Markus, in my opinion)
You are a human repair technician who works with androids and turns rogue, building a reputation for yourself among deviants as someone who would repair even the most damaged of androids. So surprise, surprise, one day Markus shows up with a little girl android who needs your help. After fixing the girl, Markus asks you to come to Jericho. For whatever reason, you can’t say no to him and agree to follow his lead.
North is PISSED that Markus brought a human to Jericho, but she doesn’t verbally say anything since you are Markus’s guest. The two of you bond over helping others, and after the peaceful revolution and androids gain their rights, Markus sucks it up and asks you out.
Markus is incredibly passionate in everything he does, and that includes dating you! He paints all kinds of things for you and is also confident! However, he is also insecure and nervous as this is the first romantic relationship he’s ever been in (We’re ignoring North x Markus for this). So you get the best of both worlds!

Colour blind
Day one of @ohshc-week : soulmates or found family
Everyone always knew that there were two things that everyone had; sight that only saw the colour of their soulmates soul, and that words appear on their skin when they realise they've fallen in love and colour returns to their sight- and those words are the words moment by their soulmate in that moment.
Kyoya didn't have a soulmate, that much was true. He was sure of it the moment his sister told him about the legends, he remembers in this stupid little toddler wisdom, actually asking her.
"Fumi… why don't I see any colours..?"
He remembers the look of absolute heartbreak on his sister's face, as she came to the conclusion everyone he'd told had come to; Kyoya didn't have a soulmate, he was unlovable, he would die alone. But of course Fiyumi had done her best to comfort him, suggesting any number of reasons he couldn't see a single colour; maybe his soulmate's soul wasn't on the visible spectrum? Maybe he was just colourblind? Maybe his soulmate didn't even have a soul? Kyoya had jumped right on that excuse, the idea that his soulmate was a demon of some sort, made sense in his little toddler brain, especially when falling for his horribly crude, horribly rude ex, maybe his own soul was an ugly shade of green, just like Kuze had said he could see- Kyoya didn't even know what green looked like. But every night, he searched his body for words, any word Kuze had ever said to him- and never found anything.
That was probably the final nail in the coffin, the final, undeniable proof that he never had a soulmate, and never would. He spent so many nights, ending up in tears… how was he so unlovable? He had no friends after upsetting both Kuze and his fiancée, he'd told them he saw orange, he just wanted to make him happy… but she saw orange, she was who made him happy. He was all alone, and he would always be alone…
Then he met Tamaki, Tamaki was special, Tamaki made him feel happy like he hadn't felt in so long. But never once did Kyoya let himself fall for the man, he knew better by now, he never told Tamaki that he couldn't see in colour, he didn't want his new best friend to think him a freak. But he loved to listen to Tamaki go on and on about the colour he saw… purple.
Purple was the colour of Tamaki's eyes, the colour of the roses he had surrounded Kyoya with, it was a colour so beautiful, it could bring Tamaki to tears if he spoke about it for too long, it was a colour that Tamaki so often told Kyoya he looked so good in. Kyoya had to trust his word, he had no idea how colour theory worked, only how blacks and whites and greys looked together, there was nothing Kyoya hated more than blacks and greys.
Black was a dark, sombre colour, it wasn't even a colour, it was a shade of nothing, the ugliest in Kyoya's opinion; it was the colour of his unlovable hair, the colour of the book he carried around, the colour of everything sick and bad. The greys were worse; they were everything Kyoya couldn't see, they were every colour of the rainbow, a horrible reminder of everything he was not, the horrible mark of a lack of love, they were the colour of his eyes, showing everyone exactly who he was, he hated greys- but he hated the colours even more, the light hiding from his vision.
White was the only lack of colour he ever cared for; the sunlight drifting through the open window and onto his face, the inside of warm, fresh bread, it was the colour that everything light and bright appeared to be, it wasn't an absence of happiness, but the only joy Kyoya could gleam, it was also the colour that most of Tamaki appeared as, from his hair to his overly expensive 'red' leather shoes.
Then the host club was founded, it was a joint effort, though Kyoya really didn't see the point, all these girls had soulmates, what could they ever see in their hosts? Kyoya didn't understand romance for the sake of romance, everything should be about your soulmate- how dare these selfish brats focus on anything else? He'd always hated how his brothers focused on their studies, they were always better than him in one sense- did they have to be better than him in every way? Now these boys and their stupid guests were going to mess around, neglecting time that should be spent searching for their soulmate. But of course Kyoya couldn't have just said that, then Tamaki would ask why Kyoya never searched for his own… and he'd have to admit how unlovable he was.
But he grew fond of the club, if not their activities. He still resented each and every guest to walk through their door, but at least Kyoya could excuse the hosts- they were only messing around. Besides, at least one of them already knew their soulmate; Honey saw a dark mauve colour, it was a strange colour, one Kyoya couldn't even begin to imagine, the boy-lolita's soulmate was a girl from the black magic club, who had previously complained about the bright pink shades everything took- now it was her favourite colour.
He began to see the hosts as a family unit, like the times Tamaki always described, it was never anything like his own family- but he had to adore the beautiful nuclear family picture Tamaki painted for him… himself as the mother, and Tamaki was always the father. It was a picture perfect scene, one Kyoya would never be able to have in any other context. Of course he loved, he fell in love every day, any time there was a beautiful man on the television, any time a handsome man passed his vision in any context. Sometimes he developed a small crush on someone he actually knew, and he had to crush it and remove it from his mind- he was unlovable, he had to remember that.
Haruhi came along and Kyoya began to believe Tamaki had found his soulmate, maybe she was purple, but the roses he found surrounded her were red apparently, not purple- that was the first he realised it was only him surrounded by purple. He appreciated Tamaki surrounding him in such an important colour, he supposed a best friend was a stand in for a soulmate until you found it. He supposed that was also why he was mommy- he'd lose the role once Tamaki found his queen.
He didn't understand why that thought made him feel so sad.
He didn't understand why Haruhi gave him such pitying eyes when he explained why he agreed to found the club with Tamaki.
He certainly didn't understand why he was in physical pain when he was so close to losing Tamaki. He should be happy for his best friend- Eclair was Tamaki's soulmate after all wasn't he? He wondered what colour his friend's soul was…
But Eclair didn't feel like a purple, she didn't fit any of the descriptors Tamaki gave the colour; she wasn't subtle, sure she was mature- but in too sexual of a sense, purple was withdrawn but glowing, it was a smart colour, one that Tamaki truly loved… Eclair was none of that, she was disgusting.
When they settled down together to watch the fireworks after the most stressful day of all their lives, it was Hikaru who spoke up. "Uhh… Haruhi?" Haruhi glanced over to him, and Kyoya noticed how the louder twin was holding his forearm, "I have to show you…" and he pulled back his sleeve, to reveal words written in block text, what was presumably red; 'don't worry about that Hikaru, I got this.' and from the gasp that emanated from Haruhi, it was something she had said to him.
Suddenly, she was looking around in awe, "so many colours…" her hands went to her mouth, before her eyes went down to her own forearm, pulling her own sleeve back, only to see the words Hikaru had just spoken, written in… was that comic sans?
All the hosts watched in silence as they embraced, Haruhi kissing Hikaru on the nose before they both chuckled happily… Kyoya had to look away, feeling a pang of pain at his friends' happy ending. Honey seemed to have the opposite reaction, clapping his hands together with a giggle and a smile, "aww!! Hika-chan loves Haru-chan!!"
Kaoru seemed pleased, patting his brother on the back, "hell yeah, I called it!"
Tamaki simply gasped, "I knew you had impure intentions for my little girl!" He points at Hikaru, "devil twin!" He glanced at Kyoya pouting, "mommy! Set some ground rules!"
Kyoya sighs, feeling his heart pounding heavy in his chest, really not feeling up to this, he crossed his arms. "Hurt her, we hurt you, and the same goes for vise versa, both of you- take care of each other." The two looked up at Kyoya, both smiling in amusement at how willing Kyoya was to go along with Tamaki's antics, but knowing full well the threats were real- Kyoya doesn't do fake threats. "Although I know you won't, cause you're both fucking soulmates and perfect for each other, obviously." He shoots a quick glare at Tamaki for making him give such a redundant threat.
But the hosts had all paused, looking at him in confusion, that was the first time they'd ever heard Kyoya swear, and they were concerned. "Aren't you happy for them Kyo-chan? What's wrong..?" Honey asked, tilting his head slightly. Only then does Kyoya realise what he'd said, and he withdrew in on himself, trying to find an excuse, any excuse…
"Aw… are you upset you still haven't found yours yet?" Tamaki smiled softly, hugging him, "that's so cute Kyoya!" Kyoya felt his cheeks heat up slightly, cursing his sensitivity for things like this.
"Ugh, it's nothing, I'm just a little stressed from today, alright?" He forced a smile, adjusting his glasses quietly and stepping away from Tamaki, who looked a little disappointed.
"I wished I could date *my* soulmate already." Tamaki spoke, sighing, "you two are very lucky," he had turned to the lucky couple again, smiling now.
Haruhi chuckles, smiling back, "oh don't worry, I'm sure your soulmate would be easy to find, she's probably one of your guests."
Tamaki shakes his head at that "oh I already know my soulmate, I'm just waiting for my soulmate to find me."
Everyone pauses at that, and Kyoya feels an even greater pang of pain, his best, dearest friend has found his soulmate, and doesn't even attempt to court her? How selfish of him, what another those without soulmates- not that he'd be aware of that, it's only Kyoya…. It's Hikaru who speaks up, frowning, "why not just tell her? She'd have to realise then?"
"That would be unfair, to deprive my love of the wonderful feeling of discovery and adoration, the same I felt… I'd never want my true love to be forced into such a discovery." He smiles, sighing wistfully, ever the romantic is Tamaki, and Kyoya could only wish he had someone who would do that for him… but that was impossible.
Hikaru paused, glancing at Haruhi, "well know I feel bad."
Haruhi chuckled, kissing Hikaru's cheek, "don't worry, I appreciate the straightforwardness, I'm glad you just told me. That's why we fit, and whoever Tamaki-senpai's soulmate is, will appreciate his gesture as much as I appreciate yours."
Aw how romantic, Kyoya almost felt sick, his rage- his jealousy, was almost unbearable, what he wouldn't do for a soulmate… someone he could call his own…
They went inside, intending to relax inside the clubroom, in fact Tamaki had suggested they stay the night. So they were setting up for a nice big sleepover, but Kyoya just sat by the window, once again mourning his lack of love. He wasn't really paying attention to what the other hosts were doing, he was just thinking about everything and nothing, he tried to focus on finances and money, at least to keep the tears away, what had he learnt in school recently? Not much if he was honest.
He could hear Tamaki arguing with the twins once again, some things never changed, as much as it was annoying, it was lovely background noise… everything Tamaki said was lovely background noise. Tamaki was just, lovely in general- Kyoya couldn't ask for a better best friend… of course he'd never say that, he could never admit how much he-
"MAMA!!" Tamaki cried out, rushing to Kyoya's side, his eyes big and shimmering, whining and complaining about something the twins had done or said, but all Kyoya could think about was…
-loved him. He loved him, he could never admit how much he loved Tamaki. Oh for fucks sake, he'd fallen for Tamaki Souh of all people, his best friend. He thought he'd never make that mistake again- falling for a friend never ends well.
He sighed, opening his eyes again to look that idiot in the face and… his eyes… was that… purple?
He couldn't see a single grey, not one speck… he looked around, barely any black either… oh heavens, oh god. It seemed Tamaki had noticed something, standing up, and- oh his suit really was white… white, the colour of the roses on Tamaki's table, that fool loved the colour white almost as much as he did purple…
"Are you alright Kyoya? You look a little… shocked." Tamaki smiled, looking down at him. The other hosts glanced over, oh they were all so colourful… Kyoya could cry…
"Your suit is white…" was all he could manage, practically rendered speechless as he felt a telltale tingle on his wrist…
Tamaki nodded, smiling brighter, "you've only just noticed? Or are you finally seeing in colour?" This got the other hosts attention, all eyes going wide, Kyoya had no clue what those colours were… the same as coffee he thought, at least in Haruhi's case.
"You're white- you… your soul…" Kyoya managed to choke out, looking down at his wrist, written in beautiful white cursive was the word; 'MAMA!!', all caps, two exclamations… and Kyoya felt the tears spilling, for the first time not out of sadness or mourning.
"Oh my god! You two are soulmates???" Hikaru blurted out, seemingly shocked, especially as Tamaki nodded.
"I surrounded him in purple for a reason." He then paused, frowning and turning back to Kyoya, "white? My soul is white? Not even a real colour..? God… no wonder you got so nervous whenever I brought up the idea of soulmates…" the pity was clear in his voice, but Kyoya couldn't care less.
"I thought I didn't have one…" he managed to admit, grabbing Tamaki and pulling him into the tightest hug he could manage, he was in love, he was allowed to be in love- he even had a soulmate that was so special his colour was unique! "You're every colour in the entire light spectrum, you're too real…"
Tamaki chuckled at that, smiling and giving Kyoya lots of little face kisses, "I'm glad your happy mon amour, now please let me go, I can't breathe."
"I'm never letting you go again," Kyoya spoke truthfully, he ever wanted to feel as alone as he had felt not ten minutes ago ever again, he grabbed Tamaki by the face, staring him in the eyes, "now kiss me and don't ever fucking stop."

You Tell Them To Fight You~
“FIGHT ME!!!!!!~”
~~~
Tamaki: You were at home, relaxing, enjoying the weekend away from school. In all honestly, you missed school. For only one reason though! School was the only place where you got to see your boyfriend, Tamaki. You were missing him, and today was only Saturday! But, you could wait, you supposed, after all, isn’t that exactly what movies and the internet were made for?
  You heard your front door opening, which interrupted your thoughts seeing as you lived alone, and you were over half way sure you had locked that door. You remembered that you had left your phone in the living room, where whoever had just broken in was, so you had to make do with what you had around you. Carefully, so as not to make a sound, you grabbed the closest item  to you, which just so happened to be a rubber spatula you had used to make cupcakes, and you started slowly advancing to the living room from the kitchen. When you reached the wall that separated the two rooms, you paused, listening to see if whoever it was had left. In response to your silent question, you heard the books fall off your coffee table.
  Taking a deep breath, you jumped around the corner, holding your vicious weapon out in front of you and slamming your eyes shut, you shouted with all your might, “I AM ARMED AND PREPARED! FIGHT ME ROBBER MAN I’M READY!!!!!” You stood, rigid, awaiting a reply. A shocked silence was your only response. Then, all of a sudden, you heard a snort, and beautiful laughter (that you had never been do happy to hear) rang out. You opened your eyes, and saw only Tamaki. You blushed deeply, realizing just how stupid that had seemed.
  You hid the spatula behind your back, and casually addressed the currently dying Tamaki, “Oh hey Tamaki! What brings you here? Also, how did you get in?” After he finished laughing, he sat up from his newfound position on the floor. “I simply wanted to surprise you (y/n), you told me about the key under your doormat, so I figured I’d come and say hi. I missed you!” You smiled at him, and helped him up. He was such a mind reader, he always knew how when you needed him. You brought him to the kitchen to give him some cupcakes you had made, and were promptly lectured on how unsafe it was to try and face a robber like that.
Kyoya: People often said you and Kyoya were a perfect couple. You two were very similar in many ways, one of the major comparisons being your equal love of sleep. Although you tended to be a night owl, as he did, you took more naps to make up for the lack of sleep at night, which Kyoya only sometimes participated in. This was not one of the times he napped with you. You were lying asleep on the couch behind him, as he sat on the floor finishing up some work for one of his more difficult classes.
  Kyoya gently slammed his laptop shut, glad to be done with that time consuming and fairly pointless assignment. He glanced up at the clock to see that nearly an hour and a half had passed since you had fallen asleep and left him to work alone. He figured that that was a long enough nap, unless you wanted to be up all night that is. So, being the caring and slightly spiteful boyfriend he was, he reached up onto the couch from his position on the floor, and shook you firmly.
  You smashed your face into the pillow in response, and mumbled something unintelligible. “What was that?” he asked you, slightly amused. You turned your head so that you were facing him, and, with your eyes still closed, you said in a crystal clear voice, “Fight me Ootori.” Letting out a short laugh, he stood up and promptly pushed you to the floor. You groaned loudly in protest “Get up (L/n), you’ve been asleep for an hour and a half. If you get up now, I’ll let you sleep in tomorrow.” With that, you were up. “I hate you Kyoya.” He smirked. “Love you too (y/n).”
Hikaru: You had spent the night at the Hitachiin estate, and boy did you regret it now. All you had wanted, was some quality time with your boyfriend, and this is what you got? You were currently standing in the middle of the hallway with red paint covering you from head to toe. Your favorite pajamas were ruined, and you were livid.
  You heard snickering from the other end of the hallway, and you looked up sharply to see a familiar mop of ginger hair. Why did you love this dork? That question was currently pending response. “Hikaru!” You shouted down the hallway sharply. Luckily for him, the second he made eye contact with you, he had the sense to run for his life. You sprinted down the hallway after him, shouting “Get back over here and fight me like a man!” to the sound of Kaoru’s laughter.
  Eventually you caught him, and you made sure to make every inch of him just as red as you were.
Kaoru: You were bored. Bored! There was nothing to do here! Kaoru had already given up on any form of entertainment from the living room and had gone up to his room. You were about to join him, but you wanted to enjoy how soft his carpet was for just a few more moments.
  With that taken care of, you made your way upstairs after him. You found him laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. He hadn’t noticed you yet, so you took advantage of the situation and made your way to him sneakily, not making a sound. He didn’t notice the other presence in his room until you jumped onto him, and shouted “Fight me~”, giving him a heart attack. You laughed when he screamed, causing him to realize it was just you and laugh with you. He shoved one of his pillows into your face, and a pillow fight ensued.
  You were no longer bored~
Honey: “(Y/n)!!!~” You smiled as you heard that familiar voice whining for you. You were in the kitchen, taking your time with the one thing he had asked for. You were feeling particularly evil today. You finally made it to the dining room with his cake, and the second he saw you, he cheered, eliciting a small, fond smile from you. You made your way to him, carrying the cake and humming something akin to a funeral march. He looked up at you, confused, when you reached him. “Why were you doing that song (y/n)-chan?” You shrugged your shoulders merrily. “I don’t know Honey, no particular reason. It just felt... right.”
  He giggled at your antics, and asked for the cake you had “forgotten” about. “Oh, this cake?” He nodded merrily. “Fight me for it~” His eyes widened in confusion and slight amusement. In less than a second, you were pinned to the floor by a happy Honey, while the cake was safely on the table, unharmed by your antics. “I win~” The two of you laughed, then, after a moment of just enjoying each other’s proximity, got up and shared the cake.
Mori: You were finishing your makeup, just putting the final touches on your blush, when Mori came in to check on you. In his defense, you had been in there for a while, but in your defense, you were meeting his family, and you were extremely nervous. You were taking your nerves out on your poor face. He saw you aggressively applying the blush to your cheeks, and noted your nerves, so he took it upon himself to make you feel better.
  You were surprised when he appeared behind you like a shadow. You jumped slightly, but then smiled up at him, refusing to let him see your nerves. “What’s up Takashi?” He simply placed his arm to rest on top of your head, fully taking advantage of the height difference. “Are you ready?” You simply raised your eyebrows, and recapped the lipstick you had just uncapped. “Are you implying, that I’m short?” He raised his eyebrows in mock surprise. “Me? never.” You narrowed your eyes at him, then pushed his arm off of your head. He simply put it back. “I’m not short!” He simply nodded.
  “Oh fight me mister! I’ll have you know I am only two inches shorter than the average height for someone my age and-” He lifted you up, interrupting your ramblings and setting you on the counter, so that you were eye to eye. Your jaw dropped. “Did you just...?” He simply nodded again. That finally broke you. Nerves forgotten, you doubled over in laughter, causing him to smile in response.
  Mission accomplished.
Haruhi: Spring cleaning time had come once again... joy. It had been fun at first, cleaning Haruhi’s house with her, playing around, but as the day had worn on, the both of you had gotten over it. So that takes brings you to now, trying desperately to finish the bathroom, as it was the last room of the house. Haruhi was in the kitchen, making food for when you were done cleaning the mirrors. You just had one more mirror to go, then you would be done, and the two of you could watch a movie together and eat whatever Haruhi was making.
  As if someone had summoned her, Haruhi popped her head into the bathroom. “Hey (y/n)! I finished... the...” You looked away from the mirror, confused at her faltering. The look on her face had you looking back at the mirrors in confusion. It was then you realized, that you had used the toilet scrub on the mirrors. “Hey uhm, (y/n)?” “I noticed Haru. And you know what? Fight me on it. I’ll have you know it’s a new and improved was of cleaning the mirrors.” “With the wrong soap.” She oh so helpfully pointed out. You groaned and put your head in your hands. “I was so close to being done...” you whined. Smiling lightly, Haruhi grabbed your hands, and pulled you to the couch. “I think we’re done cleaning for today.” You apologized, but she brushed it off. You two sat on the couch and watched movies until you had to go home so you could sleep
  After you had left, Haruhi fixed the mirrors.
I seem to have gotten carried away with Tamaki’s section... oh well! But honestly, I say this way too much. I hope you enjoy!! Feel free to send in any requests you may have!! Sincerely,
Ashes~ <3
Facts About the Scourge Family Part 1:
Just some random and out of order facts about the Scourge Family, part 1 (YES! There will be more parts as it continues to develop!). This will include some IRL facts too (such as where it started, what inspired them, etc. Let’s dive in!!
- Dad and Mama are married
- They have 9 children (Scourge was born of Mama and Dad, Killer was, technically, an accident between Uncle and Dad (Uncle’s the… “Mommy”. DON’T BRING IT UP!), Star-Eye and his two brothers Monster and Explicit were adopted, Vix was adopted, and Vapor, Scourgey, and Zero married in)
- Star-Eye, Monster, and Explicit still live with their real parents, but also with Mama and Dad
- All are male, but some are able to reproduce (Don’t ask)
- They were inspired by @carriepika‘s Scourge ask blog, @askarealscourge
- The Scourge Family is my creation to substitute my real family, in a way, as Vix represents myself
- Vix gave each their nicknames(Bear with me here, or just skip this fact, as I will be listing -most- of the nicknames and why): GrandFather, GrandMother, Gramps, Grandma, Scourge, Uncle, Aunt, Mama, and Dad are obvious. Star-Eye’s nickname comes from the scar on his right eye in the shape of a scar that he got from Killer, which is where Killer’s name comes from. Flame’s is from his control over fire, BigMan is just REALLY tall (15.9ft), King is the tallest out of his brothers (Cape, Uncle, Dad, and Flame anyways, his blood brothers), and when Vix was little, she always thought this was gonna lead to him being the king. Cape always wears a cape around him (no one knows why though), and Joker looks… like the Joker from Batman! Scar has multiple scars on his body, Summer was born in the summertime, Boomer came from an alternate universe where they lived in the Sonic Boom T.V. series (Or comics)style. Devil and Demon are part demon. Zero because Vix (or I)ran out of ideas for nicknames, Vapor vapes (too much), and Scourgey is a spin off of Scourge’s name, and Vix used to call her brother Scourge that when she was little. Explicit is. ..  explicit (Which is why he won’t be seen too much on here), Monster was named after the energy drink (Cause that’s what I was drinking when I thought of his name), IceCream because he’s colored like icecream (though he is STILL a Scourge!), Squid-Boy liked to cosplay as his character back when that one paint game was around. I can’t remember the name now), Soul Eater would steal souls, as he was part demon. Smoker smokes too much for Vix’s liking (DONE~)
- The all drink far, FAR too much
- Uncle and Aunt are married
- Uncle and Aunt have a daughter named Ash
- Ash is the leader of The Underground
- Scourge and Scourgey are married
- Killer and Vapor are married
- Star-Eye and Zero are married
- Vix liked a sergal named Zalgo (Who WILL be making a comeback!!)
- Vix works side by side with her brothers (mostly Scourge) and Uncle Flame, as well as her good friend Oil
- Oil was an older character from back around… late 2014 to early 2015. He was created as a GDW (Ginga Densetsu Weed)OC
- King and BigMan are married
- BigMan, as previously stated, is extremely tall (15.8ft) and is the oldest out of all his brothers
- BigMan is 45 while King is 35
- King can turn into a wolf (Note that he DOES NOT turn into a “werehog” or “werewolf”. Just a plain, green/ten/yellow wolf (who cannot speak))
- Flame and Boomer are married
- Flame can turn into a dragon
- Summer is single, but crushing on Scar
- IceCream runs a gang in the city, though it is techniclly, illegal, Uncle allows this, as they are close friends (and IceCream, like BigMan, is VERY tall)
- IceCream is 12.5ft tall
- King is 11.1ft tall
- Scar is 14.5ft tall
- Cape and Joker secretly love each other, but try to keep it hidden from Cape’s family, though they all know it
- Vix and Explicit, Star-Eye’s oldest blood brother, DO NOT get along AT ALL
- The personality and characteristics of Flame are heavily inspired from the band Papa Roach, the dashing singer Adam Lambert, and Ban/Bon from The Seven Deadly Sins.
- Flame is, by far, Admin’s (That’s me!) favorite, as he represents hope and justice
- Smoker and Soul Eater are married
- Soul Eater and Smoker have four sons, Star-Eye, Zero (who married in), Explicit, and Monster
- Star-Eye was picked on by his older brothers, and practically rejected by his father, so he ran away when he was little. He came across Scourge, who was in a similar situation at the time. Mama took Star-Eye in and raised him for years until Soul Eater and Smoker found out and went to get him back. Star-Eye refused and stayed with Mama and Dad.
- Vix, having a similar but a tad more harsh situation in her past, also met Scourge, then seek out refuge from her father, who walked out on her and her mother. However, when he forced himself back in, he made life even more miserable for Vix, and she ran away from home (Which is a true, everyday story, but instead of actually running away, I stay and write and draw the Scourge Family, as they go through their lives)
- Vix is the youngest of her family
- The Scourge Family has a pet werehog named Maul, as that’s what he does when anyone gets too close to the family (except Vix. He’s never liked her for some reason?)
- Uncle is heavily inspired by the character Kyoya Otari from Ouran Highschool Host Club (I suggest a watch, it’s fantastic!) as he is cool and collected in a hard situation, but can let his anger and rage slip up for only a few seconds, then slowly calms himself
- As a result of his anger and worst fears, Uncle is stuck with Polaroid, his fear that manifests into a living creature
Well, that’s it for now! Huge thank you to all who make it through all that! I know it’s not easy!!
Kyoya's second shot
Episode three: Return of the bully
"What are you doing here?"
"I'd like to request Tamaki."
The twins paused, sharing a glance before looking at the girl once more. "You're blacklisted, remember?"
"No I'm not." She crossed her arms, looked like he'd have to step in.
Kyoya was at the twins side almost instantly, book in hand. "She was blacklisted last year yes, but this year she's done no wrong. You remember Tamaki's philosophy don't you?" He glances down at the twins, watching them frown and shrug, wandering around.
"The boss is weird, we don't trust her." They left to return to their post, disagreeing but conceding.
Kyoya looks down at Seika, his gaze crueller then she could ever manage. "Just tell him your banishment has expired, he'd be happy to welcome you back."
"Using Tamaki's philosophies against him?" She raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you a manipulative little homo~."
"Our agreement shall not be spoken of here, keep to yourself, princess." Kyoya gives a fake bow, gesturing towards Tamaki's table. "Have fun."
She approached Tamaki's table, Kyoya sighed and went to sit down, staring at the numbers on the screen. He glanced around for a moment before taking out his phone.
Shadow king: Eclair, have you spoken to that woman yet?
Woman: No, I've been busy. I don't see why I should talk to her when you're not even dating Rene yet.
Child: Who?
Woman: You'd know him as Tamaki.
Child: ah
Shadow king: It won't take that long, and convincing that dreadful woman will.
Woman: Ugh, at least get some progress done before you start hounding me you bitch.
Bitchboy: Speaking of which, my article is ready to print.
Shadow king: Send me a PDF.
An email arrived in Kyoya's inbox, with a link to a pdf file. He opened it, scanning down the page with a critical eye, opening a seperate application in order to edit it. No basic spell check, at least this fool knew how to spell and use grammar. But Kyoya did need to edit out most parts that painted gays in a bad light, making the story focus more on Haruhi and Renge and less on the fact that they're both women. He even attached an image of the duo holding hands, knowing full well that holding hands can often be platonic, but the girls at this school are basic, and will do anything to believe a scandal. He sent an email back, with the new link, and sent a message to the chat.
Shadow king: Post it.
At lunch, Haruhi complained that her new phone had none of her photos, she was sad to have lost all those memories. Kyoya had to sympathise with her there, he'd sort of assumed she used the cloud. Then her complaints changed when she realised her lunch box was missing from her bag- it had been stolen. As expected, Tamaki instantly rushed to her side, promising to buy her lunch for today, and she agreed, apologising as they left the club room. Huh. Tamaki didn't ask Kyoya to join today…
But it was ok, he was alone now. He made his way to Tamaki's bag, it contained two cards, Tamaki's own money, and the club's budget. Kyoya had the details memorised of course, that wasn't why he needed it. He quickly snuck over, and slipped the card into Haruhi's wallet, next to her own. He smiled cruelly, ready to play his part. He'd spent all night thinking about what he would actually do in that situation, so he's more than prepared for his starring role. Of course he'd prefer to not have the starring role, but he is the one who's in charge of finances, he has to react like he actually would.
He sits back down at the table, he needs a reason to ask for the card… he looks on his laptop, finding a little cafe in town that sold custom food platters, entirely customizable… oh, Tamaki did suggest a commoner food theme, maybe a customized platter for each host would be a good idea, and he and Tamaki could even go in person. Oh it was all coming together now! Kyoya had wanted to try some new makeup things, he'd mostly been doing the same face every day, it wasn't exactly catching any eyes by the second week. He should do something special for their day out.
Kyoya was practically bouncing in his chair, clicking his pen as fast as possible when he heard the door quick, scrambling to look busy, and normal. The other hosts entered the room, getting to their seats and doing the usual finishing touches to their appearances before the door opened. Kyoya watches Tamaki comb his hair carefully, his hair almost sparkling in the light. He called over to the king, "Tamaki! Get over here, I want to show you something."
Tamaki hurried over, leaning over Kyoya's shoulder. "What is it mon ami?" He looked at the screen, then glancing to Kyoya. Kyoya smiles softly, switching his window to the website of the little commoner store he'd found.
"Remember when you mentioned that commoner food theme? We could get customised platters for each host?" He suggested the idea, looking at Tamaki closely for his reaction. Tamaki's face lit up, clearly finding the idea a good one.
"Ooh that's perfect! Weldone Kyoya!" He pats Kyoya on the head gently, condescending but oh did it make Kyoya feel actually proud. Funny how that works. "We can all go! A club day out!" Ah. Kyoya's moment of joy evaporated at the king's words, he definitely didn't want that… but Tamaki seemed to notice how Kyoya defeated, looking at him in slight worry. "Is something wrong?"
"Well…" he started, sighing when he realised how stupid it sounded, "I'm sorry Tamaki, I was under the impression we would go alone, it does seem like a more behind the scenes type action as opposed to something we want everyone there for." He wasn't sure exactly what he was saying, he just definitely didn't want to spend time with all the hosts outside of school, that would almost definitely overwhelm him.
Luckily, Tamaki seemed to understand, he smiled, nodding. "Oh of course! It's been so long since I've spent some good quality time with my bestest friend in the entire world." He chuckles and hugs Kyoya, pressing his cheek against Kyoya's face. Said shadow king's face was heating up, feeling a pit drop at the word friend, but feeling still proud to be Tamaki's favourite person, he can ignore Haruhi's existence for a second for bliss.
"If we're going in person," Kyoya began, knowing exactly what his lines were, "you should probably get the club credit card out of wherever you've hidden it." He looked up at Tamaki, watching the recognition spark on the king's face.
"Oh! It's just in my bag, I never take it out." He hurried over, searching through his bag, Kyoya's phone had vibrated so he checked it.
Bitchboy: We're having trouble with the printer, it should be fixed by tomorrow?
Shadow king: Alright, post it tomorrow then.
He looked back over at Tamaki, smiling when he saw the colour drain from the monarch's face. "It's gone!" This caused all the other hosts to look over at him, he looked around at all of them in turn. "The club's card! The one with access to all the club funds! It's gone missing!"
Time for Kyoya's starring roll, his eyes widened, and he spun around in his seat as fast as he could. "What do you mean it's missing? How idiotic to you have to be to loose the club's money!?" His words, or at least the way he'd said them, seemed to spark panic in the other hosts, if Kyoya was worried then surely they should be too.
"Where did you last have it??"
"Doesn't Kyo-chan handle the money?"
"Did you check again?"
Words from the hosts echoed around the room, everyone was sent into a bit of a tizzy. Only shutting up when Mori speaks, quietly, but speaking nonetheless. "Calm down, check your bags and pockets, it may have been dropped and picked up by someone else." Oh, he was a voice of reason, when he managed to find that voice. Kyoya might be head over heels for Tamaki but he can't help but admit that that voice makes him a little weak at the knees.
The hosts do as he tells them to, searching through bags and pockets, Kyoya does so only to keep suspicion away from himself. He was listening for it, he knew it was coming, "oh…" and there it was. He glanced over, to see Haruhi holding the little card, and looking extremely confused. Kyoya got to his feet and was by her side in an instant, plucking the card from her fingers, face contorting into a look of disgust, one he'd cleverly practiced all night.
"So you're a thief now too?" His voice was cruel, and if any of the hosts weren't looking before, they were now. Haruhi looked up at her, eyes widening by the second. "I know you live in squalor but please, don't take us for fools."
"Wh- what?? Senpai, you know I wouldn't do that! I'm not a thief!" Clear panic on her face as she glanced around, realising that Kyoya's word ranked above her own. Kyoya knew this too, but he also knew the other hosts adored Haruhi completely, so time to take a better tone.
His voice sunk into sounding hurt, he was in charge of the money of course, but he was still a friend. "Haruhi please, you don't have to lie to us. You know if you needed money, you could have asked Tamaki, he'd be more than willing- as would most of the others." He glanced to the side, the others were nodding, Tamaki looked hurt as he rushed to her side.
"Are you ok Haruhi?? Is anyone threatening you into paying them money? If you're having troubles we can help you! We would always help you!!" He clasped her hands in his own, eye full of sadness and pity.
"Senpai… I really don't know how the card got into my bag I promise, I wouldn't steal from you guys…" She looked slightly annoyed, but it was clear there was panic behind her eyes. Kyoya was about to say something more, put another nail in her coffin- when the twins spoke up.
"Maybe it was princess Ayanokoji, she loves to bully Haruhi." They spoke in unison, frowning, hands tilted just a little. They weren't wrong, they just didn't quite get it, they were close though, and that scared Kyoya.
"Oh yes," Tamaki stood up, his pondering clear, "she recently told me her blacklisting had expired…" He looked at Kyoya, with eyes that unwittingly make the shadow king's hands shake, "was that something we wrote into the rulebook?"
Kyoya swallowed dryly, nodding once. "Yes," he gestured vaguely, "you said something about redemption and growth whilst we were discussing the club back in the planning stage, so I wrote it into the rules. I'm surprised you don't remember." Yes, that was a good idea, put the spotlight on Tamaki, what kind of a king doesn't remember his own rules.
The twins spoke again, "there's a rulebook?" They frowned at Kyoya, ugh, idiots.
"I gave everyone a copy when you first joined, the big binded file? With the colour coded ribbon?" It was true that he had given everyone a rulebook, and he was quite insulted they couldn't remember, he'd spent a whole week on those.
"Oooh," Hikaru began, a look of recognition on both faces as Kaoru finished, "yeah we threw that out." Kyoya was incredibly angry at that, but simply turned to go and sit down, clicking his pen in a more negative manner, he couldn't lose his temper, he couldn't lose his cool. Not right now.
14:25 - the card was found in Haruhi's wallet, the twins saved her. They don't care one bit for any effort I had put into the rule book, it seems my efforts are an expectation for them.
"That wasn't a very nice thing for you to do, Kyoya had worked hard on those rulebooks. I watched him bind those folders himself, there was glue everywhere!" He could hear Tamaki scold the twins for him, feeling a little better for all Tamaki cared.
"I never got a rulebook when I joined senpai?" Haruhi spoke, clearly sounding slightly shaken.
"Oh!" Tamaki exclaimed, clicking his fingers, he didn't even need to say anything else, Kyoya knew what to do.
"...I'll send you a pdf." He said flatly, going through his google drive, he was going to have to make an edit or two…
Halfway through the session, a sound was heard. Kyoya glanced over to see Tamaki coughing and spluttering, from what little he heard, it seemed Haruhi had put salt in his coffee, or rather Seika had switched the sugar for salt, he knew this was true by her smirk as she watched Tamaki scold Haruhi for being so out of it today. To Kyoya's surprise, Haruhi actually sounded stressed out when she responded. When the session ended she didn't stay behind to help clear up, she just grabbed her bag and hurried off to class.
Tamaki sighed, "I'm worried about her… she's so out of it, I wonder if she's feeling alright."
"She got caught stealing," Kyoya began, not meeting the king's eyes, "only got saved by the twins, got scolded for screwing up something as simple as coffee and didn't even bother to help clear up? Sounds to me like she's trying to spite you for something."
Tamaki paused, looking at Kyoya in clear interest, Kyoya refused to let Tamaki peer behind the curtain like he had so often done. "Are you mad at her? Do you really think that?" Oh great, he'd done it. Once again, Kyoya was angry at this man being able to see straight through him.
"Well, she did try and steal our hard earned funds, you can forgive me for being on edge." It wasn't a question, he wasn't asking to be forgiven, and Tamaki knew that. But Tamaki didn't care, he just sighed. Kyoya didn't stop, "it seems to be like there's something else on her mind, something opposing you." He didn't want to mention Renge, cause he feared that might lead Tamaki to realise he had something to do with the upcoming news.
Tamaki frowned, looking genuinely worried, "she has been distant lately…" Oh, and there was the sound of Kyoya's heart breaking, as much as this was his goal, he hated seeing his love in pain. He sighed, putting his laptop down, throwing his own pain away.
"Hey, I'm sure it's fine Tamaki, even if she is hurting you, you are so far above her, it's only natural she'd seek to lash out." He smiles softly, taking Tamaki's hand in his own. "You've got nothing to fear."
"So… you're saying she's lashing out because she feels inferior?" Tamaki tilted his head slightly, looking confused, Kyoya sighed, sure, that was close enough, he nodded. Tamaki frowned, "oh… she shouldn't, I should think of something to cheer her up. Perhaps I'll take her on a date this weekend!"
"Not before our day out?" Kyoya frowned, hating the outcome of this situation, becoming confused when Tamaki chuckled.
"Oh of course not Kyoya, don't worry." The king smiled, reaching up and ruffling Kyoya's hair. "I missed spending time with you, even if you can be a little demanding at times."
Kyoya had to chuckle at that, feeling reassured that Tamaki was still going to prioritize him. "You're one to talk, remember when we first met?" He didn't even need to elaborate to have Tamaki laughing, knowing full of what Kyoya had referred to.
There wasn't a hosting session at the end of the day, there'd been too many accidents that Tamaki had decided to hold an impromptu meeting. Haruhi was late, so where the twins but that was irrelevant. Kyoya frowned as she walked in, crossing her arms. "A thief and a truant? Are you planning on playing the delinquent this year?"
"Shut the hell up Kyoya!" Hikaru snapped at him, causing Kyoya to all but squeak in alarm, he hadn't been expecting resistance. "She's being bullied if you hadn't noticed, and your stupid comments aren't fucking helping!" Kyoya glanced around the table, it seemed he'd gone a little far, but no one cared about what he'd said, in fact he was being completely ignored in favour of their precious Haruhi being bullied.
"You're being bullied??" Tamaki stood, looking so very worried. "What happened?"
Haruhi didn't say anything in response, choosing only to sigh. It was Kaoru who spoke up, "someone spray painted on the window outside the classroom, essentially calling her a gay whore."
"Oh ouch." Wait shit, did he say that outloud? The other hosts were looking at him, at least they'd stopped ignoring him?
"Yeah…" Kaoru began, letting Hikaru finish, "we stayed with her to talk to the teacher."
Haruhi went to sit down, burying her face in her hands. "I just want to go home and take a nap…" God, Kyoya hadn't expected to feel for her, but Ayanokoji had gone way too far, this was disgusting.
Shadow king: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU??
A GAY WH*RE? DID YOU REALLY FUCKING CALL HER A GAY WH*RE?
Child: cranky cause you're also a gay whore aren't you?
Shadow king: You're like 13 shut the fuck up.
Woman#2: You told me to make her life hell, that's what I did.
"It's ok Haruhi, you can leave if you want…" Tamaki started, frowning, eyes full of sadness. But he paused, looking down at Kyoya, "who are you texting?" Uh oh.
Kyoya spoke plainly, not letting the other's see his eyes behind his glasses. "I'm putting Seika Ayanokoji back onto the blacklist, at least until she proves it wasn't her." He pauses, noticing how Tamaki appears to approve. "I will also have a talk with her about why she was removed from the blacklist, and how she can get back off of it."
"Hm, good idea Kyoya." Tamaki nods in approval before turning back to Haruhi and going to hold her, she lets him for once, but doesn't reciprocate.
Shadow king: I've put you back on the blacklist for the time being, the hosts are on to you.
Woman#2: But our agreement???
Shadow king: Is only valid if you're actually useful.
So try being useful.
Everything but the graffiti was alright.
And don't forget the school has cameras.
Woman#2: Don't be such a baby.
Shadow king: Don't be so insolent.
He sighed, leaning back in his chair. Tamaki glanced at him, clearly on edge, and Kyoya decides this silence is too unbearable to stand. "Well, I think this meeting has been enlightening. But I'm sure we're all tired, so, Tamaki?" He didn't have the power to dismiss the hosts, but he had the power to ask Tamaki to do so.
And who was Tamaki to refuse him? The king nodded, sighing and curling a lock of Haruhi's hair in his fingers. "Of course, you're all dismissed, you may leave if you wish."
Most of the hosts got up and left, mumbling condolences to Haruhi as they did so. Kyoya began slowly packing his stuff away, he could feel Haruhi's eyes were on him. He didn't feel shame, only pity. He stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He glanced down at Haruhi, "I hope you have a better day tomorrow," he spoke curtly, almost mocking her in a roundabout way, but genuinely meaning that, the news story won't affect her nearly as much as the graffiti, and at least she'd get a reprieve.
Shadow king: Before I forget, don't go after her tomorrow, the article will be enough.
Woman#2: So much for making her life hell, you coward.
