I think I'm going to draw up my understanding of how cycles of harm/abuse operate in the world because its too obtuse to explain in words. it would just be a lot of info all at once, that wouldn't piece together.

doing it just cause why not, maybe someone will find it useful. theres a reason its called a culture of abuse because its built into the very foundations of our society and needs to be fully uprooted. its the norm not an aberration (which is exactly the problem)

#the white liberal milquetoast feminist understanding of abuse is so incredibly myopic #bad #and ultimately very very gender essentialist #like the idea that if we flipped from men to women in power it would lead to less abuse is so incredibly laughable #like the postion of domination and power of others is a core problem #replacing the group would not change that #youd simple see a new set of abuse justifying mythos but with the roles reversed #(which would slowly develop over time)#(and then to further worse abuse #as that justifying mythos took root #to try to rationalize the abuse and power)#again its almost impossible to explain clearly in text #(also im talking on a societal level #it definitely doesnt absolve individuals)#(also lets be very clear anti-feminist/misognists fuck off #im criticizing liberal feminism for not going far enough #not for existing)
