y’all I’m so excited to share this with you XDD

So I have this Adventure-style story idea that is driven by Knuckles’ and Shadow’s interactions with each other as they face a new threat. The story is called Never Turn Back From M.E. which is a fusion of Shadow’s Theme “Never Turn Back” and Knuckles’ Theme “Unknown from M.E.”

Never Turn Back From M.E. [Full Plot]

Act 1: Knuckles and Shadow only know each other through their friends and comrades, but every time they try to interact they end up fighting due to one reason or another because they both have the tendency to square up and act tough rather than rely on others. Eventually they interact more because there are a growing number of problems happening on their planet due to the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds acting up. As the Master Emerald Guardian and Master of Chaos Control, they go on more missions together to figure out what’s going on and learn that they’re not so different from each other after all. Between missions, they start to hang out more and Shadow visits Knuckles on his island from time to time and they talk about anything, everything, and sometimes nothing at all.

Act 2: Eventually Shadow asks Knuckles if he can help him control his raw energy so that he can learn to fight without his inhibitor rings, but still be in control of how much power he uses. Knuckles helps him by telling him to take off his rings while Knuckles himself acts as an inhibitor that regulates Shadow’s power when he powers up. He does this by holding Shadow in place by his arms. During this scene, since they’re on Angel Island the ground under him starts cracking from immense power and Knuckles asks him if it’s working. Shadow almost gives up because he admits his power is like this because he still has inner turmoil from his past. Knuckles reminds him of all the good that he’s done and that he still has a future he can protect and then Shadow finally accepts this. It’s then that he is able to finally control his power without his rings. After that, Shadow feels as though a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders and laughs. Knuckles congratulates him and they really become close.

Act 3: Shadow acts slightly different. He’s still mostly the same stoic and ‘few words more action’ kinda guy, but he’s not as rough around the edges. He even interacts more with his friends on a personal level. His friends and comrades notice this, and they also notice that Knuckles seems to be the person he interacts with the most. When Shadow and Knuckles are alone one day, it’s then that Shadow realizes he’s fallen in love with him. He doesn’t outright admit it or say it, but when Knuckles catches signs like Shadow laughing around him, staring or making eye contact a bit too long, or Rouge straight up giving him massive hints, Knuckles realizes that he has feelings for him too...but he also has a duty as the Last Guardian of the Master Emerald, and tries to tell himself that his duty comes first.

Act 4: They address it, Shadow confesses first. He knows he may get rejected because Knuckles has a destiny, but he also knows Knuckles does have a social life with others despite his duty, so it’s at least worth a shot. When the words are finally in the air, Knuckles is torn as to what to do, and what he wants. Shadow understands this and gives him time to think about it. More chaos-related instances occur and seem to be getting worse with no lead and no source. Even Eggman is working with Tails and Eggman Nega who has also contacted the prime dimension to report that it’s happening in every dimension. A few days after, Shadow and Knuckles feel something shift on Angel Island and explore the disturbance together. A new part of the ruins has opened up that Knuckles has never seen before. They explore it and discover an ancient prophecy, one where the Last Guardian battles an interdimensional monster on Angel Island and sacrifices himself to save everyone. Knuckles thinks about how this is what he is here for, his destiny. However Shadow refuses to accept this. Shadow and Knuckles have a falling out over this, but Shadow comes back to tell him that he’s not alone and doesn’t have to do this by himself.

Act 5: Knuckles and Shadow’s friends and comrades as well as Silver, Blaze, and a few others that have traveled to their timeline all meet up on their planet to hear Knuckles account of what’s going on. Knuckles tells them about the prophecy and Shadow occasionally says more info, and Tails and the Eggman’s say their account of the data and research they’ve collected. They predict that the arrival of the interdimensional monster will be in three days, and they’ll have to stop it. Everyone plans and finishes collecting the Chaos Emeralds, Sol Emeralds, and other game related powerful items to prepare. Knuckles with his role as Guardian, and Shadow with his role as a tactician and G.U.N. Member means the two don’t interact much, but on the last night before the big day the two find each other because they don’t know if this will be the last time they’ll ever be with each other. Knuckles finally tells him he loves him, and they finally kiss and spend that night together at Shadow’s place and fall asleep together in each others arms.

Act 6 Final Story: Shadow wakes up but Knuckles isn’t there beside him. He has a sinking feeling about this and soon after he gets red alerts on his communicators. He thinks about last night an for a moment feels like he’s going to lose him, but he remembered what Knuckles said to him in Act 2, and Shadow smiles and says “no one can tell us what our destiny is, we make our own” and he leaves his place with newfound determination. Shadow arrives to the base of operations with everyone involved and everyone looks worried at Shadow. Shadow asks what’s wrong and what’s going on. Tails shows him that there is a giant chaos energy field around Angel Island and no one is able to get through. Knuckles is also trapped on the Island. Shadow breathes for a moment, then has his game face on. He asks if there was anything they could use, and Tails says Super Sonic tried to get through but got burnt out, Burning Blaze found a weak point but no entry, and Super Silver tried to create an opening with his telekinesis but it only thinned the barrier out somewhat... Shadow then says “Then how about you send me”.

Meanwhile Knuckles has woken up on Angel Island against his will and has resigned to completing his destiny. He’s aware that his friends are trying to get through the barrier, but even with the Master Emerald he couldn’t lower the barrier. There’s only 12 minutes left until Doomsday and Knuckles really thinks he’ll have to do it all alone. Suddenly the Master Emerald glows brightly until it becomes blinding, and when the light subsides Knuckles sees someone that he thought he’d never be able to see again. In his super form, surrounded by the Chaos Emeralds, Sol Emeralds, and other powerful items...was a slightly worn out Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow the Hedgehog who had used the Master Emerald and other items to connect a portal and get back to him.

Knuckles walks towards him in disbelief and gives every excuse why he shouldn’t be here asks why he would do this, and Shadow runs and kisses him. He hugs him tight and then puts his hands on his shoulders so he can face him. Shadow says “Because you and me...we’re in this together and that’s a promise. No matter if the world is against you, or you’re at the end of your row, you’ll always have help at your side”. It’s then that Shadow lets go and uses all the items at once as well as the Master Emerald’s power and says Chaos Control. It’s then that Knuckles sees one by one as all of his friends, enemies, and comrades appear avengers style on Angel Island in their super/hyper/powerful forms and cheer and prepare for battle. Sonic and his friends who heard everything through Tail’s tech cheer Knuckles and Shadow on which momentarily embarrasses them and Shadow laughs while Knuckles is confused and a bit overwhelmed. Shadow refocuses and holds out his hand, and asks Knuckles “So Knuckles the Echidna...are you ready to do this together?” and Knuckles breathes and then smiles at Shadow and says “Yeah, let’s show that beast what were made of!” and the moment Knuckles grabs his hand he turns into Hyper Knuckles.

When Knuckles turns the hand grab into a hug, something else unexpected happens. A bright light shines where the two stand to reveal an entirely new person in a form greater than Hyper, Sol, and Super.

In Knuckles and Shadows highest combined form, and as a fusion of them both stands someone ready to take on any challenge, even destiny itself.

Primordial Knuxadow: “Are you all ready to do this??!!”

Everyone: YEAH!!

A golden helmet and armor forms on him, and the interdimensional being finally appears and roars.

Primordial Knuxadow: “Then let’s show them OUR destiny!!”

Hey can you tell me about the creaturae plot? Cause I have no idea what it’s about

hoooo boy, this is gonna be a long one XDD

i'll start with saying that a lot is still up in the air, but there's a pretty solid skeleton of what i want to happen for certain characters and events.

imma put it under the cut because again. l o n g .

in the beginning, there was place where all stories end. a universe dedicated to the fragments and remains of all the stories that had been completed, or that never would be. and in the beginning, there was a grove, tucked into the folds of the universe, a single tree with red, green, and golden apples, guarded by three who did not know where they'd come from before.

paz, rev, and emi only ever knew the grove. each guarded a fruit, and they all guarded the grove together. not that anyone knew where it was to conquer it. one day, paz broke a twig from the tree and it transformed into a pencil, allowing her to access her powers of creation. rev discovered they could build their own creations. soon after, two doors appeared. paz entered one, and it vanished. rev and emi entered the other.

paz's door took her to what was known as a city-fragment. these floating bits of planet were essentially capitalist cities, run by mafia and banking clans and casinos. while there, she unknowingly entered a death-game. upon winning, she became a death-god as all others who won these games were. it was in this city she first met dorian, and while working with faem out of necessity (dorian is also a death-god) and eventually friendship, she used the name iden.

rev and emi landed in a world of magic and fantasy. a fragment of a long-since forgotten magical world. rev learned as much as they could, honing magic and their own power until they could learn no more. determined to gain more ability, they sought out the fabled death-games, participating in one and winning. they too became a death-god, taking on draconic features. the price? they could never return to the magic-fragment, as the citizens did not allow travelers from the city-fragments. rev and emi moved on.

rev had a vision. they brought together fragments and bits of worlds, shaping and forming them into the donut-shaped planet now known as creaturae. creaturae, for it was the last name rev had given themself. some fragments, such as the isolated city-fragments, were left untouched. but iden and dorian sensed the powerful death-god rev had become, and travelled to creaturae to investigate.

the three had reunited. iden took the name parzival, and along with rev and emi explored this new planet. dorian vanished, under the radar, and began to create the labyrinth that phased between worlds and connected creaturae to horrors and wonders yet unknown.

parzival became bored. she decided to create an island. one part of creaturae fully under her control. she found adrian- a character from a story she'd written with others, a crossover into reality. she brought him to creaturae, to the castle on her island, for his story had ended with the deaths of all the others. she formed a city, a replica of one adrian knew well. for some time there was peace, and quiet.

then it all shattered. characters from adrian's story were brought back through the librarian's timeline as fictionals- meaning they could only die the way they had in their story. other than that they were functionally immortal. adrian was reunited with lucien and jay, the three having been married for some time in the previous story (nicknamed the neapolitan trio). others had returned too, and settled into the city. (the story adrian, jay, and lucien are from is the coalition files, which me and a couple irl friends have been working on for a while. it's kind of sci-fi and superpower story thing and also very complicated lol).

disaster struck. other timelines were creeping in on creaturae, and parallels were springing up. those on parzival's island found themselves trapped living plots aligned with those in stories that had already occurred. conflict after conflict, even rev and emi getting involved to try and stop it. by the time it was brought to a close, nothing would ever be the same again. (this part follows dream smp plot points because i was hyperfixating on that when i wrote it, but it's only essential for character development, not a synopsis, so i won't go into a ton of detail).

during a massive battle, jay calls on her doppelgangers from other timelines of her story. two are most prominent: darkjay and white crow, each with powers similar and different to her own, with their own stories and tragedies lived. whit uses fire manipulation to burn away parzival's flight wings, leaving her defeated. she surrenders and is placed in prison under guard of jay. the parallels still raged for some time after this. while in prison, parzival takes on the name genesis, using he/him pronouns. rev isolates themself with emi, trying to avoid the parallels but only being drawn further into them.

it's revealed that the labyrinth, dorian's creation, is the cause of the parallels seeping into creaturae. in a final bid to break their hold, genesis is released from prison and assists rev, neapolitan trio, and the jay syndicate (the group jay and her doppelgangers formed) in finally freeing creaturae of the parallels. the labyrinth remained, but the power was under control.

rev formed an organization known as tahva (it's an acronym, idk what it stands for yet i just like it) to help them protect creaturae, the surrounding fragments, and the universe they reside in. they hire dorian to help them by monitoring the labyrinth, which fae agrees to (he's probably just bored tbh). emi helps rev any way he can.

genesis (once again using the name iden) and dorian mostly separate from the others, basically for everyones' mental health. after all, parzival was the mastermind behind the tragedies caused by the parallels, and dorian's labyrinth only worsened the problem. the two take up refuge in a woodland mansion as minecraft mechanics begin to affect creaturae, lowering the stakes by making death impermanent. dorian spends far less time at the mansion than iden does, travelling between city-fragments to help rev and tahva take down capitalist schemes, wandering the labyrinth, etc. but fae always make time for their friends.

iden has been through... a lot. i gave my sona just as much trauma as i did p much all the other unwilling participants, especially during his time in prison. everything after the parallels are defeated i refer to as "post-plot" because it's largely undefined (deliberately so) and is time reserved for all the characters to heal. because soft as i am, i can't let this end as a hurt/no comfort story. so heal they will, even if there's bumps along the way.

there's a lot i left out for the sake of trying to summarize this best as possible, i tried to include anything plot-important though.

Thank you for anyone who has sent me stuff!! I LOVE reading them and I’m so sorry I’m awful at replying, but know that I love each and every one. Here’s my attempt to answer a whole lot :D

@doki-dream Thank you so much for enjoying my DBZ comics!! DBZ was my earliest “fandom”, as it were, from over twenty years ago, and it was so, so special to me as a wee child. I think it’s obvious how heavily I project onto Gohan, haha! But now that I’m an adult, it’s really fun to weave in all these ideas I had as a kiddo into a more seamless interpretation that works with the existing canon. I hope you continue to enjoy my interpretations <3

@half-devil-in-red-leather Thank you so much for sticking around with me for so long!! :D :D DMC still has a very dear place in my heart, and always will. As for Trunks and Gohan -- they were my favourite characters, too!! Gohan moreso than Trunks in my case, but I’m awfully fond of all iterations of my purple-haired boy, and someday I’ll get around to drawing all of my Mirai!Trunks headcanons :) Trunks and Goten are fascinating to me as well, because they’re a Unit, yanno? In canon they were rarely seen without the other, and so their development as people is undoubtedly tied together, too. The differences between Mirai!Trunks and main-timeline!Trunks is FASCINATING, and speaks a lot to what are “core” characteristics of Trunks and what are things he’s adapted from his close peers over the years. Anyway, I love Trunks and Goten and Gotenks and rest assured I’ll be posting a lot more about them in the future.

@vejigante Unfortunately I still haven’t watched Dragon Ball Super beyond the two movies (Battle of Gods and Broly) so I’m preeetty much out of the loop as to who these guys are. Maybe someday :0

@yusuke96universe I don’t exactly take suggestions, mostly because I kinda draw whatever I feel like in any given moment, and drawing something based on someone else’s idea or suggestion is almost always stressful (”what if they don’t like my take” “what if I drew something they find gross” “what if what if what if” etc), but I can safely say I, uhhh, actually don’t know much about Tien??? I’ve skim read the original Dragon Ball manga, but I never watched the original Dragon Ball anime, so Tien is one of those side characters I don’t have a very good grasp on, or, frankly, much interest in. Maybe someday!

@shika-boom Fugaku and Shikaku were not friends, per say, but they were always peripherally aware of each other. They’re both clan heirs, for one, so you gotta know who’s who. Shikaku has always been a nosy nin who collects secrets, while Fugaku’s shameful secrets have always been painfully on display, so it’s not like they didn’t butt heads now and again growing up. I talk a little more about the topic here (x).

@hydrabellwolf Raditz is an interesting character I’m still getting a handle of, in my own interpretation, but I think he essentially has little to no attachment to his birth family and as a kid he probably thought Goku was pampered trash because Gine kept his pod at home. I don’t think Raditz ever made the connection that Gine sent Goku out to save him from the massacre, so I don’t think Raditz realized Gine “spared” Goku and didn’t think about him (Raditz).

Afterward, he only ever remembers Goku might still exist when he realizes he needs someone he can ally with against Nappa and Vegeta (after establishing he’s Alpha Dog, hence him stealing Gohan and talk-posturing at Goku instead of properly fighting from the start), so it’s not so much familial piety as it is convenience because he’s outnumbered and outgunned and outbullied by the only couple other Saiyan survivors.

@wardstoneus That’s a story for another day, and details I probably won’t get super into because I’ve learned my lesson about delving into unnecessarily dark themes in an ambiguously exploitative way. But, yeah, I have lots of Thoughts about Raditz’s distinctive hairline and how that looks more like Vegeta than it does Bardock, and how exactly that could’ve gone about.

It was not a consensual thing :/ Gine had a rough life, and not just because she was weak and also not very Saiyan like. Bardock married her to protect her after she was pregnant, and he got demoted to low class because of it. (That’s how I explain to myself how Bardock was apparently super fucking strong and yet inexplicably deemed low class).

@loyaltykask Tbh the only other Sakumo ship I find mildly interesting is Sakumo/Tsunade (you can kinda tell why I drew them together in the Five comic in the first place xDD), but, naturally, my take on Sakumo and the Sakumo that gets shipped with Orochimaru in fandom are very different characters with very different pasts that made them that way :’D So if I separate my take and just take fanon Sakumo as it is, there’s lots of interesting fics with him and Orochimaru and such. I don’t tend to read them though, because Orochomaru is never in character (as I interpret him, anyway), and that can be tiring XD

@pretty-rage-machine Thank you!!! I’m sorry (not sorry) that I jump around fandoms so much, my creative brain is stupid and it latches onto new things every 2-6 months without control and I’ve learned to just go with the flow, it allows me to create faster and better works if I let myself explore whatever topic has captured my interest at any given moment instead of forcing it to stick to one thing. Luckily, I am not a professional artist; if you are, don’t do this xDDD Maintaining discipline and motivation beyond personal whim is important in any job!!

That being said, yay!! I’m glad you like my stuff regardless of how much knowledge you have of the canon I’m messing with. Hearing my characterizations are grounded and relatable makes me happy <3<3

@jkl-fff Ahh thank you, friend!! (Side note reply: I watched DBZ:A yeeears ago, and I have to rewatch it again STAT because I actually have gotten mentioned by MasakoX (voice of gohan and goku in DBZA) a couple of times now, once in one of his videos and twice on his twitter feed, so I’m like HOLY SHIIIIT!!!! because that’s some Senpai-Noticed-Me shit and eeeeeeek).

It may be obvious by now but I HEAVILY project onto Gohan, he was basically my mental self-insert as a wee lad, so my characterization of him is heavily tinged by that selfish nostalgia; part of the reason I’ve been drawing these comics is to seamlessly integrate that mental image of Gohan I have living in my brain to the actual existing canon, to make him a plausible version of Gohan that can exist between the pages. From that, a fascinating little narrative has been born and I’ve been having fun detailing out the characters that exist around the Gohan I’ve created :D Thank you for enjoying my hot take on it!!

And YES LAWD I am all for bisexual Gohan, he and Dende were totally a cute first romance thing as teenagers, though naturally it had to come to an end as they moved on with their lives -- Dende to proper ascetic Godhood, and Gohan to a more normal human highschool life. Maybe someday I’ll get into the nuanced complexities of that, though I probably won’t post it to twitter, where the audience there seems to crave more canon straight stuff than any wistful doomed gay sideplots (that seems more a Tumblr thing). Ahhhh so many ideas, so little time XDD

rambling pt 10(?) - fnaf world

i’m just gonna copy and paste some hcs abt this concept bc it’s LONG and i’m too lazy to type anything (i will be making adjustments to some of the copied messages bc i’m picky xdd)

William’s first visit

i have made an official hc a while back that fnaf world is kind of the equivelent of the underworld from greek mythology. everyone who dies goes there, no matter if you have been good or bad. they separate you into different areas of fnaf world depending on how good or bad you have been. upper floor/animtronica is good people, 4th level is the worst people.. at least it should have been that way but someone else went into power of fnaf world.

soooo after the fire in ffps, william ends up here along with charlie, elizabeth, kathryn (william's wife), two fazbear employees (mike schmidt and fritz smith), and michael (who calls himself mk even though mk is still alive :/). thing is everyone is separated throughout, and william first appears in the plains part (the green thing in the world? i don't remember the names of the places qwq). he and the other missing children (who have been there since the year prior to the ffps fire) head off to find everyone else. it's basically fnaf world version 1. so he's found everyone except for michael. where does he find him? where you're supposed to be fighting animdude (i will explain this in the next part because i don't want this to be too long) sooo william defeats michael and in my au, michael's like, self proclaimed king, so he's got like his own mini castle which have portals to different dimensions and timelines. william sneaks into the castle and finds the portal back to his timeline and dips aaaaaand then vr happens but i'm gonna skip that because we need to cut to the juicy part.

William’s second/permanent visit

the second time he gets here is after something going on in sb (yes ik it's stupid to have hcs before a game comes out, but idc they just came man qwq) where [SPOILERS HERE I DON’T WANNA EXPLAIN YET >:(((( i will be referring to a specific character as vivi tho bc why not] and they both now end up in fnaf world. william is reeaaallly salty he officially died again and vivi is freaking the fuck out. and guess who comes into the scene. fucking michael. he introduces himself to vivi as mk, but vivi actually knows who mk really is, and michael just makes it seem like mk was a liar (vivi obviously doesn't believe that tho. william on the other hand... yeah xddd). now all of a sudden, michael sees vivi's soul is FULL of remnant (side note here: souls cannot hold remnant by themselves in the living world and it must be removed. they can hold it in fnaf world though since the world is made from remnant, but they lose it slowly overtime. michael thinks he can extract the remnant from souls in fnaf world though and he thought when william came back he'd have a lot, but as william was stuck with vivi after vr, most, if not all, of his remnant transferred over to her). aaaand william actually tries to defend her saying "fuck you", taking vivi, and booking it out of there. uuhhh that's all i got for now. ig it's kind of like version 2 of the game because you get animdude as a playable character in that version, and the two are trying to find him so power could be restored in fnaf world

Chica’s Magic Rainbow/End of Michael’s tyranny

you guys remember the bitch chica's magic rainbow? uuuuh yeah that's vivi. here she was manipulated (and kind of mind controlled??) by king michael (the bitch majesty himself uwu) to help him take down william and make him suffer like he's supposed to. thing is, before the fight william and vivi found animdude, the actual caretaker of fnaf world and is kind of like god ig, so animdude helps william fight king michael and chica's michael’s magic rainbow. michael loses and vivi kind of... dies? she just gets knocked out really if anything but she wakes up just fine. animdude takes his place back as the caretaker, michael is sent to fnaf world's version of purgatory, and william is sent to his own personal hell (don't worry he isn't a bitch abt it like he'd usually be xddd) and william's personal hell is a challenge that he is supposed to die over and over again and never win (guarded and managed by cassidy), but if he wins at least one night of hell, he will be able to roam fnaf world freely (he was given this "if" situation since he helped animdude take back fnaf world. it was like a "thank you, but still get fucked" thing ya know?)

OMC and William’s family

so um.. omc’s not really that developed as a character, but what i can tell you is that either he's just only gonna be william's dad or there could possibly be two old ppl consequences and it's probably gonna be both his parents. when they died they at first inhabited the first sublevel of fnaf world where the "you were pretty good in life" people go, but when michael took over fnaf world and claimed himself king, he moved whoever was in the fourth layer to the third causing a lot of overcrowding, and put william's parents and older sister down there to wait for william to come so they could be his personal tormentors later on. amelia, william's sister, was of course wanting revenge, and she sat at the bottom of the lake, her spirit changing to adapt to the environment around her since her regular spirit form cannot survive underwater (also i just came up with this now, but the more you travel the sublevels downward, the more your spirit changes to adapt to the environment around it. those in the fourth layer get morphed the worst since the worst people are supposed to be down there). william's parents on the other hand, cherry afton and idk what the dad's name is gonna be yet so i'll just call him omc, do not want to do this since they don't know about anything he's done other than kill his sister (he would've gone to the third layer if he only killed her but.. that didn't happen :/). they do get out of the fourth layer eventually, but the fourth layer changes spirits forms extremely quickly so the people down there can suffer for eternity for longer since the changing of a spirit's form is extremely painful. so what ended up happening is that amelia ends up as a deformed siren who cannot survive on land, omc is a literal crocodile, and idk what i wanna do w/ cherry yet :/

Fredbear and Springbonnie

soooo my henry and william are as follows in terms of personality: william: bitchy bitch, child life nabber, hates his kids (except michael), springy boi kinnie, furry, g a e a s h e l l henry: baby boy, poor man who needs therapy, loves kids and adopted three idiots later in life, fredbear kinnie, maybe a furry, g a e as well but if you switch their personalities, that's fnaf world fredbear and springbonnie. fredbear acts EXTREMELY william-like and it even creeps out william himself. like.. william kinda gets a redemption arc while he's fighting his dead antihero son king michael bc through fredbear, he sees how fucked up he was as a person (doesn’t excuse his actions though *spits on him*). he also learns bc vivi basically turns into his therapist ig xddd william takes two full trips through fnaf world, first time fredbear was his mentor, telling him to "find the clocks" and all that shit. but the second time, it was actually spring bonnie, helping him and vivi stay out of king michael’s sight and help them find animdude. he got to see both sides of both characters during his two trips. fredbear and spring both have a happy-go-lucky side, but they both have darker, deeper, more real sides to them that reflect into the real world.

If you could change something about the story of the Guilty Gear series, what would it be?

I’m sorry for the late response to this. >w< I really like this question, especially since my answer kept getting longer because I wanted to give a detailed answer. But I decided to revise it a bit and save the rest for a in-depth analysis post. One story aspect I would change about Guilty Gear is the “complex” family dynamic GG2:Overture introduced between Ky, Dizzy, Sol, and Sin. From how it’s written and done, it has some unnecessary retcons, character derailment, forced relationships, and contrived drama that doesn’t make sense. I’ll explain what I mean starting with Ky & Dizzy. Ky briefly encountered Dizzy in the Guilty Gear X/X2 Drama CD: Black. The episode is “Arrival- Village Rumor”, but he didn’t know it was her due to Dizzy being in disguise. The drama CDs are Japanese exclusive audios that describes the events before GGX & GGX2, but obviously after the Missing Link. Here is the link to the specific part. You’ll have to scroll down a bit, though. http://gearlegacy.tripod.com/rtt/id28.html Ky officially encounters Dizzy in The Grove in Guilty Gear X Plus. He felt compelled after contemplating Justice’s words and later when reading a report of a half-Gear who’s against violence. I’ll show you the translated dialogue between them. 1-8 Ky: I'm sorry, but I've come to pick you up. Dizzy: Why... can't you just leave me alone? Ky: You have a great power. Dizzy: I didn't even want this power... Ky: I sympathize. But, I cannot leave you. Dizzy: Why?! If you did, everyone would be at peace... Ky: You must learn... the meaning of having power! Ending 1 Ky: Please, stand up. The outside world is waiting for you. Dizzy: Why... is that? Ky: Even if it's a power we didn't want, we all have a responsibility to our powers. Instead of running, you must show the world what kind of person you are. That is what it means to live. Dizzy: But... if I leave here, it will become a burden to everyone... Ky: Didn't you know? To live is to be a burden on others. Dizzy: I... didn't know. Ky: See? There are good things to living as a person as well. Dizzy: To live as a person... can you teach me that? Ky: That's why I came. Which establishes Ky & Dizzy did become good friends. He’s also the one to arrange so legally there’s no longer a bounty on her and allow her to live with the Jellyfish Pirates. They haven’t contacted each other since then nor was there any official source material or interviews that indicated Ky & Dizzy are meant to be a couple. It wasn’t until GG2: Overture short stories and the game was released that made the two lovers. Chronically, GG2:Overture takes place 5 years after the Missing Link, but Guilty Gear X and X2 took place only months after the Missing Link. This is a huge plot gap, so when Revelator 2 released, Ky & Dizzy’s first encounter got retconned. It’s unnecessary retcon because it radically changed the lesson Ky was teaching her showing the world who she is and the responsibility of her powers, not “I want to show you people can withstand your power”. Dizzy’s demeanor is also very different, which ruins the impact and meaning of the original scene because she was lonely and sad, yet longed to connect with others. The fact the writers changed Ky & Dizzy’s first encounter is proof they were forced together. It’s also ironic because the original can be interpreted as romantic and also way more endearing than the retconned one, XDD. In GG Overture Short Stories, the writing of how Ky & Dizzy fell in love is generalizations instead of giving specific details. Like this one... He now knew he had to protect her. If you were to define the beginning of love, it would have been precisely that moment. This isn’t how romantic love is. Protecting someone is the act of loving and/or caring about someone, not the beginning of love itself. Here’s another one of it narrating Ky and Dizzy living together. Spending their days as such, they communicated from their heart and trusted each other -- it did not take long for them to begin wanting each other. It’s too reliant on “they live together, so they’ll eventually fall in love” concept, which isn’t how love works either. It doesn’t specify the moment they had undeniable sexual tension and romantic chemistry to “wanting each other”. It’s another generalization, which gives more evidence of Ky & Dizzy being forced together for...contrived drama. Especially when reading and thinking about this part below... Ky decided to put her under his protection. Despite the fact that such a decision was against the belief of justice and humanity he had been true to always. Rofl, now it must be dramatic. The highlighted part can easily debunked by using the fact Ky chose to meet Dizzy and help her. Justice(the Commander Gear) made him realize his perspective of justice(the moral virtue) at the moment was narrow-minded and if he continued to keep that mindset, it would actually be against what true justice is about. It’s why it made him ask God if he was doing the right thing, which later was lead change his views on Gears. There’s also evidence from the drama CDs too, particularly side Black. Here it is below... [ Reality v2.0 ] Dizzy: Kyaah! What are you doing? I-No: Oh, such a cute scream! Won't you let me hear it some more? Dizzy: Kyah! Please stop... I can't hold back any longer... I-No: It's for him you know... you're a bother. Won't you disappear? Dizzy: That's... I-No: Huh... not very obedient. You're just a bunch of noise! Dizzy: Kyaah! Ky: Wait! I-No: Oh? And why are you here? Ky: Even if your opponent is a wanted person, I can't accept that behavior! I-No: Protecting a bounty? Do you understand what you're doing? Ky: Even if mankind has several paths, I only have one. And if there is grace in that, then God shall save me! Source: http://gearlegacy.tripod.com/rtt/id28.html Even though this is an alternate timeline, the important part is highlighting the core part of Ky’s character; his core beliefs of justice for everyone along with his faith. It shows protecting Dizzy isn’t against his values or what is right. The character derailment starts with Ky allowing himself to be manipulated to being a puppet king by the UN delegates. The threat one of them used is supposedly claiming they seen his wife(Dizzy) with “Your secret wife, she’s quite charming. I felt like I’ve seen her from somewhere...” There’s a huge flaw with this; there’s no specifics of how they knew about Dizzy. This makes the threat empty because a person can’t be blackmailed without tangible evidence the person can’t refuse. It also means the dilemma greatly lacks the compelling impact it needs for it to make sense for Ky to agree to their terms. However, Ky just assumes they know everything just from their vague statement instead of proof. This is against Ky’s character because the moment the UN delegates made it obvious they want to control him, he would have firmly refused instead of “needing time to think”, lol. This also means the scenario of needing to entrust his son to Sol Badguy is also baseless. Next is explaining how Sol Badguy and Sin Kiske got subjected to bad writing, etc. Sin Kiske was first introduced in GG2: Overture, which unfortunately his debut is dependent on Ky being derailed for more contrived drama. He has resentment towards Ky because he(Ky) had to do what was best for others, causing him to neglect his family. This makes Sin think his father puts value in strangers over him and his mom(Dizzy). And how he couldn’t have a normal childhood because of his race, thus needing to be careful when going outside. But he views Sol as a father figure and his friend. In the GG Overture short stories, Sol and Sin go bounty hunting together to make a living. Sol doesn’t want Sin to go inside the building to collect bounty to avoid unnecessary suspicions and etc.(since Sin is naturally overly curious and hyperactive). He wants him to stay behind and how he does so is.... Sol tied the chain he had in his hand to a roadside tree in a back alley and started walking. Obviously, on the other end of the chain was a collar. And of course, the collar was fastened onto Sin. Sol juiced his wisdom from his former scientist days in order to come up with this strategy to restrain the restlessly noisy Sin. Sol’s ideology is freedom, which is why he not only has the word “FREE” on the buckle of his belt, but also why him and Ky clash, but also compliment each other because both freedom and hope are right. It’s why he clashes with That Man because he(That Man) believes things to follow a certain path and can’t be changed while Sol’s mindset is to follow your own path and destiny instead of what others dictate, etc. To write him binding someone, especially his adopted son, like a slave with a collar to a tree is the opposite of what Sol stands for. It’s also not how Sol would’ve used his knowledge as a former scientist. A better display would be him inventing a device to keep Sin occupied because he observed how overly curious he(Sin) is. If you continued reading from the link, you’ll see how this leads to Sin being bullied by the other kids. Later, Sol arrives after the commotion and asks Sin if he caused this. Instead of allowing him to explain what happened, Sol just kicks him(with people watching) across the area. Yet, he goes over to talk to the bullies and ask them what happened. This is more character derailment because while Sol outwardly isn’t the most friendly person, he isn’t a heartless gorilla like this scene wrote him. Even if considering the fact Sol is new to parenting, he’s much smarter than how he appears. The scene is also against common sense because if a child is bullied and you don’t know what happened, you go to the child that got bullied or an adult if he/she was present, not the bullies, lol. Another part is thinking about what Sin experienced. Derailed Sol chained him like a slave, which allowed him to get bullied. He got kicked in the stomach while within the tree in front of everyone while trying to tell Sol what happened. Yet Sin doesn’t resent Sol for it, but resents and has resistance towards Ky. This is bad fanfiction writing, XDD. Even when later in GG2: Overture game when it showed Sin realized his resentment towards his father was misplaced, there’s still not really a bond between them. He only refers to Ky “dad” once because Elphelt urged Sin to since there’s no hate anymore. Which he later did in this video below, you’ll have to skip to 19:06. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8igII20nrDo&list=PLLxMx3Fmb9Jk3nfaGIxfhdI9oztUQ40A0&index=8 But this scene lacks the necessary impact it should have because it’s mostly to fulfill a checklist in a plot point rather than because of a genuine bond that would spur Sin to do it. If not for Elphelt suggesting it, Sin likely would not have called Ky his “dad”. But after that, in the following games Sin still keeps referring to Ky by his name instead of “dad”. Story-wise, while Sin himself went through character development and benefits certain characters like Sol Badguy and Ramlethal, he adds nothing towards his father Ky other than a catalyst for contrived drama. His interactions with Ky doesn’t reveal a different side nor expanding viewpoints, nor character growth, etc. I’ll even say it could easily be retconned to Sin being a distant cousin instead of Ky’s son and the key plot points won’t really change like Sin being raised by Sol, etc. Even Dragonball Z did a much better job displaying father and son characters that benefit each other in character development and overall story like it’s explained in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWDJL5LHiVA I had to stop myself from going further, but I hope my answer helped explained what and why I wanted a certain story aspect of GG to change if I was allowed to.^_^

Y’know, there are a lot of narrative choices and tropes that I outright hate with a fiery passion. Veritable plateaus of text have been dedicated to pointing out why and how stories that use them can be made better. And “super bloodlines” or whatever you want to call it, is one of the biggest offenders. It irritates me to no end when writers can’t let their person be special on their own merit. Everyone has to be connected to some kind of magical bloodline. This hero was able to vanquish the hero because they’re from a long line of special people. This woman can talk to the planet and she’s the ONLY ONE who can because it’s a thing only her race can do, and the rest of her race is dead. This villain was inevitably going to become the sixth ranger because they belong to bloodline that is always Good™ or is SURPRISE! the sibling of one of the heroes. This horse is more BEAUTIFUL and SPECIAL than all the other horses because it’s the descendant of the horse ridden by a PRINCESS (really???). Yeah. You get my drift.

But when bloodlines are (actually or just hinted at being) in the backdrop of a story, with no special privileges bestowed because of it, I don’t mind. So when I was examining the maps of A Link to the Past and The Minish Cap together (which I originally only did to look for similarities between those two and the LoZ map, hi, welcome to how we do things around here, my trails of thought are split ends and those split ends have split ends and you get it) and trying to find more than a few similarities to back up two of my previous theories (I need help, somebody throw down a rope), and I found something that made me throw them off of the stove completely, I wasn’t at all bothered by the idea of the two little dudes who make the Master Sword red being descended from Minish Cap Link. Instead, I just used that thought to further fuel my digging into the theory I’ll lay out before you.

Now, with that absurdly long and unnecessary intro out of the way, I hope you enjoy. XD

Picture, if you will, a cozy little house surrounded by trees. It’s also a smithy, where the sound of metalworking can be heard from closeby. To the west of this house is a body of water stretching from North to South. If you walk North of the house, you’ll eventually come across a road that runs from East to West. Not far Northwest from that point, you’ll find a place called the Lost Woods.

Now, what did I just describe? The home of Smith and his grandson? Or the home of two tiny blacksmiths who helped the Hero of Legend stop the Cataclysm by strengthening the blade of evil’s bane?

And no, no, no, don’t worry, I’m not asking you to believe that the Lost Woods in ALttP is the same as the “Lost Woods” South of the Royal Valley in TMC. That would be silly, right? Hahaaa. No. I’m asking you to believe that it’s part of it. The Northwestern part, that is. Sort of. Around that area. Look, if some of these map theorists out here can swivel maps diagonally and flip them completely around to make them fit together, I can be vague about some thick woods, okay? (No hate, I love you guys, keep doing what you’re doing) *ahem* So yeah.

Let’s zoom out from that tiny scenario I was describing earlier. The idea is that the first Hyrule Castle¹ is around the area where the “Bumpkin Family” house and the Eastern part of the Lost Woods is. North Hyrule Field would be South of that, and Hyrule Town, whether you want it to be the same as or separate from OoT’s Castle Town, would be just South of that (the road running East to West, under the fortune teller’s place, would be the same road as the one just South of the town gate in TMC)

Yes, this means that ALttP’s Kakariko is where the Trilby Highlands/Western Wood used to be (and a little bit where TMC’s Hyrule Town is), which ALSO means that Wind Ruins, Castor Wilds, and Mt. Crenel are just West of all that, putting it just outside the ALttP map² (conveniently out of the way - sorry I love all three of you, you’re wonderful, mwah). This also means that Veil Falls would’ve been just about at the Westernmost parts of that gigantic mountain range thing in ALttP they call Death Mountain, which I’m okay with. Also means the Minish Woods was around where the Sanctuary and Hyrule Castle are in ALttP. Ouch. But I mean, it’s not the most devastating thing the Hylians have done, so moving on. Also, the first Lon Lon Ranch would be in the Death Mountain foothills, to the West.

So, why do I like this idea so much? First, it aligns pretty neatly with the idea that the Master Sword grove in ALttP is where the Temple of Time used to be - at least, to me. But I’m also of the opinion that the Temple of Time/Sacred Grove/Lost Woods grove area are all the same - meaning that’s also where the Sealed Grounds was - and it never changed. Um... No matter what other theories I come up with/entertain, that’s always gonna be the case, I can pretty much guarantee. I just don’t like the theory that the Temple of Time was moved. Granted, I’m more okay with that idea in this timeline than in the Child Timeline, because in the Child Timeline the Hero of Time prophecy still has never come to pass, it’s still a sort of messianic legend the people believe strongly in, and even though the royal family has been told of the whole time-travel shenanigans thing, ha ha haaaaaaaaa... I don’t think they’d be able to convince an entire society that there was no longer need for that five-piece seal. The descendants of the ones entrusted with the keys are probably still clutching them tightly to this very day... Actually what am I talking about? All that stuff is forgotten about, shrouded in the mists of time and whatnot. Whoops, guess this green and shining stone can fetch me a pretty penny at the pawn shop... ANYWAY. We’re here for the Fallen Timeline right now, so let’s FOCUS.

Another part of all this is my old theory... hypothesis?... idea? that the Sealed Temple/Temple of the Goddess, and later the Temple of Time that was build where that used to stand, were somewhere behind/within the castle in TMC (not in the game, obviously, but you know how this works). The reason I believe this, is because TMC happens at a time when Hyrule is a young kingdom. It has literally one town and everything else around it is all wild lands, as far as they’re concerned. It’s obvious that they’ve only just settled there in the past few centuries, and I doubt they would stray far from the place where they first touched down.

So. If the Temple of Time is where the Master Sword grove is later, that would put OoT’s Hyrule Castle North of the ALttP map, Market where the Lost Woods eventually grows, Hyrule Field/the second Lon Lon Ranch in the Southern Lost Woods plus where ALttP’s Kakariko is built and the surrounding area (which also means Ordon Village is around the second Kakariko area in the Child Timeline. Amazing. No matter what happens, that land WILL be repurposed into village land. Except in the Adult Timeline, it’s been destroyed, bye-bye), and mayyyybe the Desert of Mystery where OoT’s Lake Hylia was??? Although this also means I could’ve been wrong all these years about the Minish Woods: Maybe they ARE where the OoT Lost Woods are after all. Hmmm. Honestly I still personally prefer the idea of OoT’s Lost Woods being where the Eastern Palace area is in ALttP. Lots of deforestation no matter where my theories go... That’s depressing. Hylians, stop being jerks. At least they’re less jerks than humans have historically been to each other. So far. I can only prove their oppression of AT MOST three and a half races so far, so honestly, we’re looking at an improved world here.

Ummmm I think that was about it. Did I have anything else before I zoom into the notes? No? Alrighty let’s wrap this up!

¹ When I first played TMC, I had no problem thinking that Hyrule Castle and the one in OoT were the same, Hyrule Town became Castle Town, and the Minish Woods are located in some indeterminate woodland somewhere between Castle Town and Kakariko. But like I said, I’ve become partial to the idea that the Temple of Time is behind/around the castle in TMC, not shown, out of sight, protected, so I theorized them building a new castle elsewhere. Then again, that idea comes from the idea of the Temple of Time being built over the Sealed Grounds, and that hasn’t been shown or said in-game yet, so both options are valid to me I guess. I love Historia, and I take its word with more salt than Encyclopedia, but still not enough to season my stuffed pumpkins on a Monday night. ...I still believe wholeheartedly that Hyrule Castle in TP is a completely different castle up North from where the original one - and the town, and the Temple of Time - were in OoT, and TP’s Lake Hylia is not the same Lake Hylia, and Arbiter’s Grounds/the more “Western” style Gerudo desert is North of the OoT desert, etc., and you’ll never be able to pry that belief out of my cold, dead, fingers, so don’t even try. Er... I mean... ... Golly, you guys, aren’t hypotheses fun? ^__^

² Which I’m thinking would mean Mt. Crenel is just North of Gerudo Valley, maybe even a mountain or cliff you can see in-game, and Castor Wilds would maybe eventually be the land the river runs through in the canyon below. Or... part of said land. Who knows. Ah man now I wanna make my Link (from Peace of Heart) jump down from the Gerudo Valley bridge with her Roc’s Cape and glide down to the Wind Ruins all cool and stuff! <<33 Just kidding, Gerudo Valley is no longer exactly there in that fic, in fact Gerudo haven’t been in that area in ages. It’s... a long story. In more than one meaning of the phrase. ANYWAY.

Alternatives: Smith’s House TMC is Link’s House ALttP - this is not a new idea, I don’t think. I’ve seen other people propose it, it’s a great idea, my idea is just this but like, scooched over a little. I’m sorry, I never claimed to be original. XDD The great thing about both of these theories is that they put Syrup’s hut pretty much around the point where it is in both ALttP and TMC, if you think about it.

Hyrule Town TMC is Hyrule Castle ALttP - this also works? Kind of? Except it doesn’t give a lot of room North of the castle for the stuff that should be there (although that’s explain-away-able if you take the “the mountain formed over the ages” route, which I personally like, because I like the idea that OoT Kakariko was around where the Sanctuary/Graveyard is in ALttP and then a series of volcanic eruptions happened, resulting in the formation of the Westernmost mountain and also the destruction of the original Kakariko and the village moving Southwest. ...I’m sorry).

Not a Subaru sighting this time, but!!! Episode 8x06 of Supernatural features the

Daytona International Speedway

as part of its motel decor!! (Which is amusing because the episode takes place in Missouri. Which means that in all likelihood this motel owner specifically decked his motel out in Daytona memorabilia because he’s a fan! XD

I imagine in TVLand you’re not allowed to use real car likenesses unless you pay for them, and given that the decor of this motel had very little to do with the episode, there’d be no reason to spend the extra $$$. Ergo, the two numbered cars seem pretty generic (though the 64 looks a little Goodwrench-y?), but the half-hidden one does bear some similarity to one of Jeff Gordon’s schemes. Hmmmm....

The timeline for when this car was on the track vs. when this Supernatural episode aired (2012) would line up, too. Not to mention Gordon was driving a Chevy Impala at the time, and even if you’ve never seen any Supernatural at all, if you’ve spent enough time on Tumblr you probably know that Sam and Dean Winchester also drive a Chevy Impala, albeit from another era. ;) (And the prop masters have a history of sneaking in other-era Impalas into random scenes, so this Jeff shoutout being intentional isn’t entirely out of the question!)

And because I can’t have a pop culture car-sighting post without mentioning semi-famous Subarus, there’s an Advance Auto Parts commercial airing on FS1 right now where a 90s Subaru wagon doesn’t start due to a battery issue. XDD ALL SCREEN TIME IS GOOD SCREEN TIME, AMIRITE.

Oh I have… so fucking many. Whenever people ask me for 2001 Maniacs headcanons with no specifics I just get lost cuz I SERIOUSLY… DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START LIKE YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE EXTENT OF TIME I’VE SPENT THINKING ABOUT 2001 MANIACS………

I’ve been thinking about the timeline of Harper’s life and specifically his struggle with sexuality & shit, the way I see it Ogre kinda implies that his version of Harper seen in Field of Screams is supposed to sort of be an older/more mature version of Giuseppe Andrews’ Harper, kind of combining Giuseppe’s Harper with Stanley Dyrector’s Harper in the original 1964 but like… added homosexuality (and for the record Ogre’s Harper is SO fucking similar to Stanley Dyrector’s Harper, I rewatched the original Two Thousand Maniacs! a few weeks ago and I seriously had forgotten how strong the parallel is, much more than Giuseppe Andrews’ Harper imo - And this makes sense, cuz Ogre said he grew up with the original Two Thousand Maniacs and even remembers when he saw it for the first time as a kid LMAO). So the way I kinda see it is that Giuseppe Andrews’ Harper is a reflection of what “our” Harper was like when he was a kid. Since Giuseppe is considerably younger than Nivek anyway.

Assuming Harper is around Ogre’s real age at the time of filming, which was 46, Harper woulda been born in the late 1810s, for time period context.So I think when Harper was younger, like in his teens into his 20s, he was seriously like, the town black sheep and just so fucking notoriously rebellious, just the worst troublemaker and specifically ladykiller who just flirted with and fucked EVERY girl in town. He’s always loved death, he’s always been a freak, in the comic he was demanding Pleasant Valley go to war before the massacre even happens and is even the one who first fought back against the soldiers who were causing trouble by straight up murdering one by ripping his heart out (again, BEFORE the massacre). I think Harper’s response to being gay in the ultra conservative Deep South of the 1800s was just to repress it and instead go after as many women as possible, and to channel a lot of his feewings into like, murdering animals and stuff cuz he really had no fucking healthy outlet at all for everything he had pent up over the years.

But there had to be, like, an in-between from that Harper and the Harper we see in Field of Screams, and I think the massacre definitely did a number on his mental state but I think there had to be a transition before that to the slightly more respectable, much more charismatic and mature Harper we see in Field of Screams, who’s clearly admired by even the highest ranking members of Pleasant Valley (B- Buckman…). I have this whole headcanon for that that I’ve shared before where I basically think that Harper and Milk Maiden were engaged for awhile… I think that they were really good fwiends and fuckbuddies and like, on and off dating and they were “coworkers” since Milk Maiden would screw around with Harper while he was doing doctor bullshit, and Harper really does genuinely love spending time with Milk Maiden and they have a lot of shared interests (murder) and everyone ever agrees that Milk Maiden is like the sexiest woman ever, so Harper was kinda hoping that it’d get rid of his ~homosexual urges~ if he settled down with Milk Maiden, and in kind of a panic he proposed to her and they got engaged and everyone in Pleasant Valley was soooo happy and just going on about how PERFECT Milk Maiden and Harper were for each other and how Harper was SO LUCKY!!!! and Harper was like kind of terrified cuz as the wedding grew closer he was just. So not feeling it. But he tried to keep his chin up and stay positive!!!1111!!!1 telling himself that this would like finally make him normal :))

And of course being how they are neither of them were waiting till after marriage to fuck LOL and I think one night Milk Maiden just confronted Harper and was like… “We don’t … have to get married. You realize that right.” And Harper fucking panicked and was like WHWHWH AT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WHAT?? WHAT??? WHAT???? and Milk Maiden basically like fucking told him that she… knows… If a man isn’t interested in her. And she’s like “I know men well enough to know that if a man isn’t interested in me then he’s not interested in women at all. Harper.” and Harper just vehemently denied that but after relaxing a little bit he did like finally admit that he… maybe wasn’t… ready to settle down yet after all :) And there wasn’t really any bad blood between em because Milk Maiden would much rather not be tied down to someone who isn’t interested in her anyway cuz that means she’s free to just fuck men who actually are into her, so they found a way to kinda call off the engagement in a way that didn’t raise questions and they continued to be good friends / murder buddies / friends with benefits (Ogre said that they still get off together to murder even though Harper doesn’t like having sex with her which is .. I’m not even dissecting that now but that’s what he SAID) so things ended well overall, but it was also a REALLY BIG SCARY TURNING POINT for Harper because, well. It kinda hits him that he was literally in the perfect position to be married to the most beautiful sought after woman in Pleasant Valley who he himself genuinely adores and likes spending time with but… it wasn’t… enough. To make him feel normal XDD and he still has no fucking interest in women at all. So it was… kind of. really horrific for Harper too.

And I really like this scenario, I’ve given a lot of thought to it cuz not only do I think it creates more depth to Harper and Milk Maiden’s relationship but I think it also really paints them both as… like… adults. It reminds you that they’re adults and that Harper has even come close to straight up marriage and been engaged and all that and idk it’s… good, I like it.

BUT YEAH I FEEL LIKE THAT KINDA SOBERS HARPER UP A LOT AND HE’S FORCED TO REALLY FACE HOW FUCKED UP HE IS and that was .. BEFORE the massacre. After the massacre things go even more downhill, I kind envision that it was the night of the massacre that made Buckman really come to love and admire Harper and see him as a real second in command, because in the comic, after Buckman was murdered that night Harper took over and tried to lead the people of Pleasant Valley away to defend themselves from the soldiers. So Harper took over for Buck and I feel like that really created a bond between Harper and Buckman (they were on good terms before though too, Harper most likely was the one who helped Granny give birth to the kids and I HC that Harper is their godfather but yeah) that obviously “is stronger than death” LOL, but that’s kind of miserable for Harper sometimes cuz it means not only does he have to deal with the misery of being fucking dead and cursed and all that but on top of that after repressing his stupid feelings forever his biggest crush of all time is suddenly constantly complimenting him and depending on him and gushing about how smart and loyal he is and Harper is like. Burning inside.

And. Speaking of. Burning Inside…. Ministry. Industrial music. Harper canonically (according to Tim Sullivan in the audio commentary) saw Trent Reznor and/or Marilyn Manson and fell in love and wanted to be just like them and steal their looks (a joke about how Trent and Manson stole Ogre’s looks LOL), which is supposedly why Harper as we see him in Field of Screams is decked out in piercings, black middle part, industrial band tattoos (you can definitely see Ogre’s Process tattoo in multiple shots, for example), etc. That woulda prolly been in the mid-early 90s, when Trent and Manson toured together and Trent had his iconic 90s goth middle part (in fact, they toured together with the band PIG, also very Harper-core for obvious reasons, for the Self Destruct Tour in 1994, IN LATE APRIL, and there was no concert the day of April 22, 1994… or was there?). Industrial music is the gayest music genre as you all should know, and a great place for self expression for stupid gay idiots who love death and blood, so… really really good outlet for Harper :) He’s like over 100 years old and just head over fucking heels for Trent Reznor to cope with being closeted in the Deep South for the last century which is… so… fucking unreal. Hey pig yeah you hey pig piggy pig pig pig!!

Thoughts on the Special DwD Event あなたも私もホントはアクマか!？Are you and I both Devils?! (01.05.2016)

After almost 2 years of waiting for a DVD release for this event, I decided to take it upon myself to use Twitter’s shitty search engine to search Event Reports for it and I honestly don’t regret it??? But at the same time it just added to my salt that this won’t be seeing a DVD release anytime soon :))))))

Note: Contains Spoilers, proceed with Caution though since we all won’t be seeing this any time soon or probably EVER, might as well just spoil yourself 8D These are all based off a detailed Report I read on twitter IN JAPANESE about the full event and it’s the closest I will ever get to experiencing it (which I really REALLY want to) so your guess is just as good as mine unless you don’t understand Japanese then feel free to ask me anything :D

THIS.EVENT.WAS.THE.BOMB.

It was a flurry of Emotions even for me, who basically just read a Report for it so imagine if I actually was there???

Basically, you could call this event something that was meant to be remembered for both the cast and the audience and it’s honestly a shame we won’t have anything to remember it by (Except for Event Reports and I’m SOOO thankful to that person who went through all that scribbling on her note pad throughout the whole 2 sessions JUST to write a full detailed report on it, you’re the True MVP) .

Though onto the actual content during this event, they actually went with something like a Musical Short Story with some fun seiyuu corners in between scripts. The event being split into two sessions: Day and Night, have different titles for the short stories similar to how the anime episodes were titled; The Day session was titled “The Charleston of Reminiscence and Dreams” and The Night Session, “The Minuet of Reunions and Farewells”. Though both sessions are basically the same story, they actually have 2 different outcomes. Meaning if you only bought the Ticket for the Day session, you wouldn’t be able to see the other outcome of the story and vice versa.

Like, can you believe it?? That this whole event was basically built on the concept of having a choice like in an interactive Visual Novel and the choice was whether you bought the Ticket for the Night session or The Day session X’DD Though those who were willing to pay for twice the price for both Tickets get the best of both worlds and Avex (The main organizer) gets them ticket sales yet doesn’t release a DVD for the Event :))) (I’m salty OK?)

Back to the topic at hand, you can say that this short story was something like a mildly self aware alternative timeline set after the events of the anime that was also the producer’s personal crack fic… with its own good and bad end…yeah, this was wild but it was a good kind of wild and everybody cried at the end (Of the Night session that is, details coming up) so :’D

Here’s a summary of the story…or basically the whole story www:

The story starts off with Lindo narrating about the life of the Tachibana family four months after the events of the Anime ( Which is around the time of this event, Avex you genius), he and Ritsuka continued going to school whereas Maria continues her career as a Translator. Lindo apparently still trains his exorcist skills but of course, hopes that he wouldn’t have to use it again. He then talks about the atmosphere around the school being lonely, noting how lifeless the school’s greenhouse was, or how there wasn’t anybody kicking down classroom doors now, or that weird student flying up and down from the third floor,neither is the pomeranian that was constantly yelping nor that weird chorus that came out from the Third Library every time he passed by it, but most importantly how there wasn’t signs saying “Mushrooms are strictly prohibited” around the school compound anymore, other than that, life was fine and dandy for this Siscon. On Top of that, Ritsuka’s frilly apron was officially his now as he’s mainly the one doing the cooking in the house www

Meanwhile in the Demon realm, Glax calls upon Rem and gives him a brand new mission to accomplish and that is *drum rolls* to host a Radio broadcasting program and win the heart of all the civilians in the demon realm to vote for him as king now that Maksis is revived wwwwww Urie and Mage wish Rem good luck and were off to spend their own leisure time before he pulls them back and says that Glax wanted the four of them to host it wwww Urie tries to find an excuse saying that he was busy preparing for a party with his butterflies and Mage says that he had to give his underlings Training until Shiki, being the one that actually doesn’t mind joining, chimes in and says that if they hosted the Radio Program in the middle of the night, the broadcast tower in the demon realm might just be able to transmit its signals to the Human realm as well which means that Ritsuka might be able to listen to their program and Urie and Mage were officially in with the group lol.

They then proceed to think of a Title for their Program and decided to go with Shiki’s idea: All Night Makai (Basically All Night Demon Realm www). To which Mage, Urie and Rem (Rather adorably) say out the title in a rather confused tone, splitting the three words in random places among the three of themselves until Shiki got annoyed and asked if they just hated him that much that they aren’t including him in their mini charade and the three of them say that there’s just a weird sense of Deja Vu as if they had experienced the very same thing somewhere… like this was another timeline. The four of them ponder about this with Urie noting that it’s probably true as he had caught wind about how the activation of the Forbidden Grimoire had caused several Parallel worlds to occur which resulted in a confused Mage as he struggles to keep up with their ‘foreign’ language though still mistakes Jikansen (Timelines) for Shinkansen (Bullet Train) in Japanese LMAO. Rem basically explains the game mechanics of the DwD game describes it as two different doors that lead you to several outcomes depending on which door you choose and Mage finally gets it by saying that “It’s just like a Game!” (To which I snickered cause this level of foreshadowing is glorious).

The four of them got back to coming up with a content for their program and came to a conclusion that they’d each do their own mini segments: Urie’s lectures on “Amor” : A sure way to gain the heart of your beloved’ (Urie has some glorious English www) , Rem’s “I’ll tell you what really happened back then” (in which he tells you something you didn’t know about certain scenes involving him in the anime lololol), Mage’s ハジゲテイッチャワ(whatever-the-fuck-those-Katakana-actually-mean) NIGHT and Shiki’s ‘Are you shivering with excitement tonight?” (Where he attempts to make you go ゾクゾクするね～ with him). The program ended up being a success and managed to rake in a 90% rating but Shiki just had to pour cold water over the other 3 saying that it’s because they’re the only Radio broadcasting program in the Demon realm LMFAO. The four then pondered about whether Ritsuka was able to listen to their midnight program.

Back in the Human realm, Lindo decides to listen to some Radio after completing his daily exorcist training and actually comes across their Program but doesn’t recognize any of their voices and isn’t able to catch the pun in the Title wwwww. He thinks of letting Ritsuka listen to it but it dawned on him that she was having a sleep over at Azuna’s and laments that it’d be a long night without her XD At Azuna’s place, Azuna presented Ritsuka with an assortment of Creampuffs from Ritsuka’s favorite pastry shop, Aspiration (In the night session, Azuna’s showing her newly bought pink pajamas instead) when she suddenly sighs in relief much to Azuna’s confusion. Ritsuka confesses that she had a nightmare where she dreamt of Azuna dying protecting her and was just glad that it was all just a dream ;;; Azuna says that she’s had the same dream too and wonders if it’s something that happens in another Timeline ( geez, I wonder :”)) ) but tells Ritsuka if that were true, she wouldn’t regret a single thing about it, because Ritsuka’s her precious friend. Ritsuka responds saying that she too would do anything to save her if Azuna ever got into trouble. Kaze no yokan starts playing and Ritsuka and Azuna took turns singing each verse, ending it with a duet during the final altered verse of the song.

The scene changes back to the demon realm and Mage has some big news for the other 3. He heard news about the Forbidden Door connected to the Human realm (I’m assuming it’s the Gates of Gehenna?), which was said to open only once every 99 years, was going to be open in a few days and says that he’s jumping on the chance to go back to the human realm. Urie and Shiki decide that they’re going too but Rem hesitates, saying that there isn’t a reason for them to go there ;w; ( Boy was probably worried about Glax being furious at his departure…) The others urge him to be more open about what he truly wishes for and this is where the script cuts to a session featuring exclusive monologues for each boy (including Lindo), talking about the what ifs of their relationship with Ritsuka (kinda disappointed that the monologue was the same for Rem in both sessions but eh whatever, he had a solo performance at the end after all lol) . The session ends with the Reprise version of Mademoiselle (which had the same arrangement as the one sung by the stage play cast in the first musical, slow and rather bittersweet).

Rem finally decides that he really wants to go see Ritsuka (after 4 months of not seeing her XDD) but rejects Urie’s idea of fooling his father into thinking that they were at the broadcast station by pre-recording their weekly radio program (in the Day session, he agrees to go along with it) and instead says that he’ll try his best to inform his father about this straightforwardly. At night, the gate finally opens and the four of them enter it while hoping that wherever they end up at isn’t a threat to their lives =v= (Shiki on the other hand wants that to happen ww) The four of them ended up arriving back at the third library and the music for Warewa Shikou Gakuen Setokai starts playing (cause why the hell not). Meanwhile, Lindo and Azuna are on their way to the third library after witnessing his exorcist pendant glowing brightly and as Lindo puts it: ‘Fiercely saying “Say Yes!”’(Yeah, wtf lmao) when Ritsuka comes running after them, saying that her king crown was glowing too, much to Lindo’s dismay as he had told her to stay at home wwww. The three of them burst into the library and came face to face with the four devils, much to Ritsuka’s joy as she happily greeted all of them but of course, Rem first :3 The trio immediately surrounded her (before Rem could get to her I assume www) and are onto their usual banter about who she had wanted to see first but is warded off by Azuna’s holy water (reference to episode 8 www) lol. Lindo whines about Ritsuka not listening to him by choosing to chase after them and the trio chirped about how that’s so Ritsuka lmao. While they’re at it, Rem and Ritsuka reconcile with each other and Dance with Destinies starts playing, before being cut off after the first verse as Rem proposes that there is another way that they could be together.

Day Session Ending: Before Rem could make a decision, Glax bursts into the scene, furious that Rem tricked him. It’s revealed that Rem’s excuse for not being able to obtain the Grimoire was because he chose to help a human, which Glax already considers a punishable sin so finding out that it wasn’t only a human but the grimoire itself, Glax drags the four of them back to the Demon realm, saying that he would engrave it in Rem’s body to never do such a thing again as an Arlond ;;; Ritsuka is heartbroken but Azuna and Lindo reassure her that they would definitely meet again someday. We then cut to a scene where Rem laments about how weak he was for not being able to confront his father about his decision and vows to be stronger so that he could see her again someday.

Night Session Ending: Dance with Destinies starts playing again at the fourth verse and the lyrics are adapted for Rem. He chooses to live as a human beside Ritsuka and the trio note how he has changed and are amused at what possibilities the future would have for the 2 of them. Lindo (Hatano Wataru was unexpectedly crying at this point lol :”) ) asks if that was even possible, and Urie tells him that there’s actually plenty of devils living in the human realm in the guise of regular people and points to the crowd below the stage XD Mage then exclaims to the crowd that from now on, they’re Rem’s senpais when it comes to living in the human world ( AWWWWW). Shiki notices Lindo crying but he denies it and says that it was just his holy water and tearfully says SARUBESHII LMFAO (This part was mostly an ad-lib because it was unexpected www). The story comes to an end as Rem promises Ritsuka to never let her go no matter what and that the both of them will walk together towards the future.

Ah, what can I say, this short story (yeah, short XD) was actually pretty fun and filled with all sorts of emotions. The thing that I’m most surprised about is how Timelines were brought up quite a few times in this story and they even managed to have it related to the activation of the Grimoire. I liked the fact that it was self-aware that it could be a different Timeline on its own (which it was, judging by how Azuna was alive in this story and its rather cracky moments) and honestly thought that it was much more ‘Timeline -themed’ than the movie was even though the theme of the movie was supposed to be “Timelines”. The nods towards the game’s existence and how the different routes in it can also be described as timelines was honestly creative imo and it’s just such a shame that the movie didn’t utilized this concept. Although the songs were mostly reused, I liked the fact that some of the lyrics and music arrangements were adapted to fit the current situation and I thought that it was a pretty smart move by the producers to maintain a sort of live musical feel to it. The only disappointment I have is that I wish Ritsuka had more dialogue and that she’d be the one to narrate the first few lines of the story instead of Lindo. Like I want to hear her thoughts on life after the events of the anime and of course her thoughts on Rem and the others being gone, it felt that she had more of a passive voice in this story and I can’t help but wonder if it’s the producers attempt to not make the story ‘too’ RemRitsu inclined but eh, at least we got a live duet lol (I’ll just hope that they’re saving it for a more serious sequel, let a girl dream). Another thing worth mentioning in this story and probably my most favourite part of it, is the relationship between the four devils. They had so many comical dialogue with each other it’s hard not to love them in this story :3 I also really liked how Lindo narrated the story at the beginning with how oblivious he is about why those things were missing in school www. This is especially hilarious if you know just who those quirky habits belong to =w= Glax and surprisingly, Holland (in Rem’s segment of the radio program) do make an appearance in this story but only as voice recordings, to which I wonder who voiced Holland lol (I hope it’s Subaru =v= ).

As for the seiyuu part of this event. there was actually a segment in between the script where they had to respond to comments from the fans in the audience and decide whether they’re a human or a devil in the day session wwwww , whereas they had to respond to comments about the anime in the night session (Reader: Hatano Wataru). I found it pretty sweet that they actually try to make out who was the person that wrote the comment in the crowd and acknowledge them especially that part where Souma asked a fan if they’re saying her pen name right www (They were debating whether it’s said as U-S-A or just usa lol). Like I mentioned in my summary of the story, Hatano Wataru cried during the finale of the story but managed to stabilize his voice when he was singing Unmei no Coda and BL(U)CK BASIS (short versions of both) right after. He explains that the reason for his tears was that he thought that scene with Souma and Himika was beautiful (He’s such a proud senpai ;w;) so everyone starts calling him Mama Lindo lolol (Souma: Okaa-san? XD). The final cast comments came after Pentacle’s version of Kakusei no air (Which actually has an official recording but it’s only available in the 1st volume of the BD for the anime :”D) and things got emotional for everyone, especially Souma as he started crying during his turn ( He was kinda holding it back all this time) ;;; I actually translated his comment but I haven’t posted it here so here it is:

Honestly, it’s really such a shame and an even bigger Mystery as to why this Event didn’t have a DVD release. So much heart was put into it only for it to remain as only a memory OTL At first, I thought it was mainly Rejet’s problem but turns out, it was Avex who was the main organiser and I’m just so???? Though I jokingly think that it’s because the cameraman forgot to record the whole event so they couldn’t make a DVD =v= I honestly hope that isn’t what really happened though cause it’d be really 何で神様？！ORZ and I’d feel really bad for the Cast cause the songs that they only get to perform once live didn’t get recorded , to think that Souma really wanted a DVD release as well…

Overall, this event was indeed a special one and I’ll forever be salty that it won’t be having a DVD release nor an official recording album for the event-adapted songs. Why wasn’t this the movie instead?

Verse1 Sent by Naga

Timeline: the three routes, one will be picked depending on the thread and partner.

Description: Due to the sudden disappearance of the three children, Chrom took off to Mila Shrine to ask help from Naga who tells him of Anakos’ trip here and recruiting the three kids. Chrom waited for a while before he asks for Naga’s help in case Inigo and the others wanted time alone after the big battle. But when months passed by without any word of them, he went and decided to take upon Naga’s offer to send him to where they are but warned him that her influence s weak there so she will send him as far as she can, maybe wrong place wrong time but he did not falter. Accepting that, he went alone just in case what Naga told him happened.

Once he reached the fate continent, his appearance was changed slightly to not be recognized by the trio in case it will cause him trouble (with Anakos.) His new appearance is dark-haired and green eyes and Falchion remained with him but advised not to use it unless it is necessary. Instead, he uses a lance blessed with Naga’s bless.

Where he landed is nearby Nohr but not enough to get him inside the country and save him the trouble to sneak in without being caught by the guard. It was a long way until he managed to get inside.

The prince of Iris, Lowell is helping his older sister Emmalyn (again counterpart of Emmeryn). Iris country will not join in any fight unless they were threatened. In this time, Lowell has the same shepherds group (to some extent) called Vigilantes (yes, i am creative with the name but you got a better name help yeah? xDD) Lowell is the same as Chrom but a bit blunt than his counterpart.

You're right, one of the aspects I really like, especially with respect to Aydan is that they didn't turn Eda into a superwoman who can set anything right with one touch. In fact, it's quite the opposite where she keeps getting in scrapes but owns upto it and apologises as she said herself, it's refreshing to see a balance between a miracle worker and a manic pixie dream girl! Ferit :/ One thing I really appreciate is even though tropes and cliches are employed they are still executed in a believable way and the characters have depth to them. I find myself not really angry at anyone outright (except Kaan) but rooting for all of them to be happy and also frustrated because they've found themselves in this tangle lf emotions through their own actions, especially Eda and Serkan. It's so easy to dislike Selin but then I always renember it's Serkan who came up with the cold blooded plan in the first place and is actually the one toying with everyone's emotions, including his own.

Serkan: Ok, so, basically we got a lot of of Serkan Bey wanting to spend every waking minute looking at Eda, wanting to be next to her (“What am I gonna do, just sit here?” – “Yes.” Lol, smooth, dude.) or throwing a fit because she’s not with him on this birthday that he never once gave a rat’s ass about in his life. Subtlety, thy name is not Serkan Bolat… And like, this is the absolutely oldest trope in the book but I am such a sucker for tough guys/robots going so soft for the girl they love and asdlfjalskfjal yes SMOTHER ME IN ALL THE SOFTNESS! 😭 The cheek kiss had me literally screaming because S.O.F.T. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT EDA COULD MELT AN ICE CAP AND IS2G ONCE BOLAT KNOWS EDA LOVES HIM HE’S NOT GONNA HOLD BACK. We will die. I will definitely die. It was nice knowing you! Oh my Lord… Serkan Bolat looking at Eda will literally be the end of me.

Eda: Eda, my precious çiçeğim, is fighting so, so hard against her feelings. She’s realized she is in love but she can’t admit to it because that would make her vulnerable in a situation where, as far as she can tell, making herself vulnerable will lead to nothing but heartbreak. She overhears Serkan/Eda or sees the way Serkan hugs Selin back and there’s no doubt in her mind that her feelings are not karşılıklı and that he is still in love with Selin. So she’s trying to hold back, move the Selin thing along and keep her distance from him… quite a role reversal these two have gone through. On the one hand I wanna scream at her and say “Don’t you see the way he looks at you 24/7, like you hung the moon?!” but at the same GIMME ALL THE PINING! THIS THE KIND OF ANGST AND PAIN I AM HERE FOR!

Eda/Serkan’s conflict: I’m gonna say it soooorta came out of nowhere for me. On the one hand the things leading up to it all made sense – Eda behaving weirdly all day, Serkan being insecure/confused, Eda being the only one that had the papers – but at the same time Serkan throwing every bit of trust they’ve built over the last two-three episodes out the window over this within all of two seconds seemed odd. I guess I’m just getting used to soft!Serkan a bit too quickly and was surprised to see business!Serkan jump out. Business!Serkan’s reaction was… well, not valid, but also not unusual. Eda did mess up there; even if it wasn’t by sending the pictures herself, but by not being careful enough. I’m curious to see how they’ll resolve this next episode. Serkan looked like he knew he fucked up exactly 1.47 seconds after he told her to leave, so will he “accidentally” take Sirius for a walk in her Mahalle again and apologize? Or will we get to see Eda being a badass bitch for an entire episode like the fragman promised (PLEASE!!) and show him he was wrong. (Possible parallel to the “You don’t trust me” scene at the cliff?) Selin: I honestly can’t stand her but ngl one of the highlights of the episode for me was their dinner scene. She gave him a watch and looked so pleased with her “so well thought out” idea when apparently everyone and their mother knows he gets a dozen+ watches for his birthday every single year and gives all of them away. It could be that she knows he doesn’t usually care for his birthday and therefore didn’t waste a whole lot of time on deciding what to get, or genuinely thinks he likes them, which means she doesn’t know him all that well. Either way, petty me loved this scene ‘cause she’s so full of herself FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON HUH Aydan/Alptekin: I love Aydan more with every episode, I really do, and that makes me increasingly curious what happened between her and Alptekin and why he is being such a dick to her?? He can be nice and caring, as we were being shown in his scenes with Melo, so why can’t that fucker seem to care about his own family?! It most likely has to do with Serkan’s brother/trauma, yada yada yada, but until they show me a redeeming backstory I will WISH FOR HIM TO STEP ON A LEGO EVERY SINGLE TIME HE’S BEING AN ASS TO EITHER AYDAN OR SERKAN!😡😡😡

Engin/Pırıl: I’m not mad about it, tbh.

Ceren/Engin would’ve been the less problematic pairing but I could see Engin/Pırıl make for a little more interesting filler scenes if necessary and I’m ok with that. Pırıl needs to stop being such a snitch, but she’s warming up to Eda and I kinda like their equation. Question for my boy Engin, though: Dude, you and Pırıl have been pining for one another for what seem to be YEARS, and not in the subtle way, SO HOW CAN YOU STILL BE SO CONFUSED/CLUELESS OVER THIS?? You have no issue flirting the pants of a random girl at an engagement party but can’t tell the girl you’ve been crushing on forever that you like her???

As for waiting an entire week: I feel ya but I’ve started watching so many dizis that I actually need 14 days in a week now.

NG+ Ann fic

AKA the fic idea where everyone dies in the final battle but somehow a character of one's choosing ends up back in time at the beginning so they can fix it all--- in this case it's Ann. If these ideas are taken for a fic with a different ship than mentioned, I don't mind-- feel free to send me links to them because I love NG+ style fics! -Ann's restart begins when she runs into Akira for the first time on her way to school, but she doesn't actually remember right away -Ann gets huge Migraines and waves of dejavu between her first day back in time and remembering, it's part of her getting settled in the past and remembering the future -Ann actually gets sent home super early on the day Shiho is going to jump because of her migraines-- but while walking home she sees the date somewhere and it comes back to her all of a sudden. Next thing she knows she's running back to Shujin because OMG SHIHO After that the ideas kinda diverge: A) Ann gets back in time and saves Shiho by talking her off the ledge B) Ann doesn't get there in time and Shiho jumps again C) Ann arrives just as Shiho's jumping and is able to use Hecate's power to save her. Oops, now everyone has seen Panther because she somehow magical-girled herself into her suit when she vaulted off the building to catch Shiho. (Then she does a dramatic speech about how Kamoshida will pay for this before disappearing into the Metaverse so she doesn't get caught by the cops or something) In B Ann joins the Phantom Thieves the same way as before (sort of) and deals with the dilemma of what she should change to help everyone survive the final battle. She's a bit reluctant on changing things--- and a bit discouraged because she couldn't even use her predicament to save the one person who mattered most...... In A Ryuji and Akira speak with Shiho instead of Mishima since Mishima gave no indication of knowing what happened; since Shiho never jumped. They get her to talk to them and Ryuji accidentally lets slip that they can make Kamoshida pay--- and Shiho is like "I want in". Ryuji and Akira both tell her no and head to the palace immediately after school. Shiho follows them and ends up taking Ann's place as the one being pulled in with them. While all of this is going on, Ann is looking for Ryuji and Akira because she couldn't find them earlier. Because she changed time, they didn't meet by the vending machines during school--- and with this she never had her "I want to help" moment. She arrives at the alley in front of the school just in time to see Shiho using the MetaNav herself to go in a second time. And that's when Ann realizes that she somehow retconed herself from the Phantom Thieves. She also realizes it's probably for the best, though, because future knowledge is dangerous. She decides to work in the background changing little things and appearing in battles where the others are having trouble (because she's level 99-- her whip can destroy most beginning shadows with one hit :d ). Basically Ann is the 6th ranger under the subtrope eleventh hour ranger XD C is similar to A, but it has the twist of Ann saving Shiho in her thief uniform... which alerts the world to the Phantom Thieves' existence before they even actually exist. She also may have had to use Kamoshida's palace to escape the area without drawing suspicion to her non-costumed self. (Self indulgent scene where Panther is princess carrying Shiho through the Metaverse because fuck she forgot to let go of Shiho before she used the MetaNav) And because of that instead of Ryuji and Akira pulling Shiho in the first time, she sees them use the MetaNav the next day at school, and remembering the words Panther said uses her own version of the app (which appeared when Ann fucked up lol) to follow them--- and she gets caught up in shenanigans. Ann basically princess carried Shiho back to Shiho's house through the Metaverse, and in turn doesn't end up having the conversation with the boys.... and actually forgets about it entirely because SHIHO'S SAFE. Ann pretends she saw a post on Facebook about the events when she was "at home sick"--- when she appears at Shiho's house because she wants to check on her (and maybe cuddle a bit because tactile comfort is nice) She realizes she fucked up badly the next day when she goes into the Metaverse to check on the boys and sees Shiho awakening a Persona to help fight Belphegor (yes I remembered his name shush) But again like in universe A she concludes that it's alright, because of both her future knowledge and the fact that Shiho is showing more confidence in herself because of her awakened persona. Of course even without shipping-- I'd like to see this idea because Ann trying to make the future better without the rest of the Phantom Thieves to support her-- the angst just from that! The team was like her family and they all died in front of her-- and now they're all alive and well but don't even REMEMBER the things they've been through together... An idea I've been toying with also is that Ann actually reveals she has future knowledge in all 3 scenarios to the Phantom Thieves... in A and C she will pop up and let them know they're on the right track/doing it all wrong, and in B she literally tells them she's trying to keep to a script while dropping hints to what needs to happen... which could cause hilarity just from the conversations that could come out of this: "I think Alibaba will be a helpful ally! Y^o^Y" -Ann "Aka, Alibaba is the next member of our team... got it... -_-; " -Ryuji "You weren't supposed to know that yet >__>" -Ann "Then stop sounding so robotic when dropping hints 💧" -Ryuji Ann is terrible with the whole future knowledge thing XDD --- now for the really shippy stuff --- In each scenario the amount of TakaSuzu slightly increases. B<A<C. B there is little to none in relevance to the plot, tho some could be added.... basically this is the version that works best if someone wants to write another ship (I would totally read B with another ship too-- I'm Ann shipping trash--- if anyone decides to write one shoot me a link ;) ) A and C would be considered equal.... except for the fact that C has Ann princess carrying Shiho in the thief uniform and thus is more shipping aware? I'd guess.... A is also more suited for slow burn Shiho x Ann, while C is slightly less suited for it (not that it wouldn't work too lol) Scenes that would be cool for angst in A/C (come on this is me we're talking about, gotta have that drama/angst) {keep in mind, Panther refers to Ann in thief clothes when she's not known as Ann by the rest of the team} -Shiho asking Panther why she's always protecting her, only for Panther to confess to having fallen in love with Shiho in the future/past timeline. ---> on this point, Panther also tells Shiho that because of the future/past memories that she has they won't work out--- Panther has too many memories of them that Shiho will never have -Shiho confessing to Ann, but Ann turning her down-- not because she doesn't love Shiho, but because Shiho doesn't know she's Panther, and she doesn't want to lie to her about that. She tells Shiho that "You don't know the real me, not anymore" which causes ANGSTTTTT -if both previous scenes happen: Shiho goes into mementos alone to think after confessing to Ann (just the entrance since going in alone is dangerous) and runs into Panther--- who is heading in to let off her frustration and angst (because she made Shiho cry after all). They sit on the edge of the escalators and Shiho asks Panther how she can stand it, being in love with Shiho when it isn't returned (because yeah she's kinda attracted to Panther but she doesn't exactly get to talk to Panther every day or anything--- this is assuming Panther's confession is first) Panther's heart breaks a little because Shiho looks so dejected and SHE did that. Panther gets Shiho to talk a little more and tells her that she thinks Ann is actually in love with her, but maybe it's not the right time for them to be something more. Shiho then asks Panther what she would do if Shiho confessed to Panther right there in that moment. Panther laughs at this and tells Shiho she would SWIFTLY reject her and "WTF Shiho I'm basically a stranger to you! You don't' even know the real me!"--- Panther is laughing while saying this but it still echoes her harsh words from before without her realizing it~ Then the scenario would diverge again, between Shiho realizing that Panther is actually Ann... or Shiho recognizing the echo, but instead using it to conclude that Ann probably didn't mean it in a bad way--- and vows to spend more time with Ann (because Phantom Thief business and Ann "modeling" has kept them apart) to try to understand what part of Ann exists that she thinks Shiho can't see.... If Shiho realizes she's probably just like "Wtf how did I not see this earlier... also Wtf Ann you confessed to me in disguise but rejected me when I confessed to you why?" And then angst when Ann explains the future knowledge thing. If she doesn't she will learn with the rest of the Phantom Thieves later (probably before the final battle in the Velvet Room)... And by then Shiho understands that Panther has been through a lot, with having gone back in time only for her to not be able to be alongside her support system while trying to fix things... plus they're all unsure if Panther's solo efforts will even be enough to win/survive this time around... They share a moment where the two of them hug and give each other a good luck/good bye/ I'm sorry/ I love you kiss before they head off to the "unwinnable fight" There's like so many ways this could go and it's killing me~~!

Wweelp. I guess it's Rambling Time.

Not even sure how far I'll get in any particular topic, but, we're still kind of rusty with blathering shit for school assignments, so.. Here I am, exercising my shit-blathering pathways, or whatever.

I guess an initial General Weather Report would be suitable, given that seems to be how our collectively chronophobic ass keeps track of things that we will Almost Definitely forget in the nearish future.. But that would require thinking in detail about Various Things and that's kind of Not My Bag rly, heh, so. I dunno, I guess we'll see what happens.

Suppose starting with the current thought process will suffice. There's this trans chick on YouTube we follow, who posted recently that she's getting bottom surgery, now that she's recovered from her facial feminization surgery. From there I ended up at.. One or two other videos, pretty sure it was two, about her transition timeline.

And now "transition timeline testosterone" is sitting there in the YouTube search bar staring back at me and I'm just like :\ lol dunno, or someshit.. sigh.

This video made some Feely Feels rear their dysphoric heads, because of some Hashtag Relatable shit about the way he described stuff.. And I'm sure the seething jealousy that he got top surgery means something, heh, meanwhile we're over here crossing our fingers that the body isn't too fucked up for even a breast reduction, which, even for that, the co-pay alone.. ugh.

I mean, not like I actually know how much it would be yet, hopefully Tahni will remember to ask about that when we see the primary again for the results of the next ultrasound to make sure that ovarian cyst isn't fucking cancer, fucking goddamn cancer, never would have thought we'd be stressing over that as a possibility but here we fucking are..

Well. I personally don't have much history, hehe, what with the Iiii don't, exist, Iiii don't, exist.. et cetera.. yeeup, not sure where that was going, but anyway. Yeah. If not from the fucking ovaries, possibly from the goddamn thyroid, which is Fun. Apparently there are no actual known causes for the thyroid cancers, shit just fucking happens, more commonly in "women." Yay.

But I mean, even if it is some kind of fucking thyroid cancer, at this point just take the shit out and put us on thyroid meds for the rest of our life, just make this shit stop.. ugh, but it's probably not even one thing, is it, this whole fucking body is going to shit, and how many months will it be until we've done enough tests and shit to figure out what's even going on..

It's so funny, two years ago they Really Thought it would just be an endoscopy and colonoscopy to find the cause, just a couple tests.. xD Ahh, funny in a kind of lol kill me way.. But at least shit is actually showing UP on tests now. Just having the vague undiagnosable bullshit is a different kind of agony, like before the LPR was diagnosed, it is Fucked Up trying to get any kind of answer on shit when your main symptom is just a constant hellish nausea, not anything that comes back from a lab test with Actual Results that doctors will Actually Respect.. To say nothing of how family and friends start slowly but surely deciding to themselves that it's just you making a fuss out of "nothing."

So, yeah. Different kind of hell, but godfuckingdamn I would take almost any other ailment aside from this fucking Everlasting Period bullshit. Talk about fucking dysphoria, haha. You really hate acknowledging the existence of this entire section of the meatsuit you're stuck in? Here, have some as-yet-undiagnosed ~menstrual issues~ that make the most unpleasant thing that section of the meatsuit does last TWICE AS LONG AS IT USED TO!! THAT SURELY WON'T MAKE YOU WANT TO STAB YOURSELF AT ALL!!!!

Due tomorrow is an assignment in place of a midterm, to make a resume and goal list of shit to do that'll make said resume better.

Except there are no accredited fully-online law schools yet, so what in the ungodly fuck are we gonna even do with the degree? It's not like having it is gonna make the body less of a complete medical fucking wreck, it's not like it'll erase the fact that we can never know when we're going to be suddenly fucking incapacitated with dizziness/ridiculous cramps/intense don't-fucking-move-or-you'll-gag nausea for days on end so we can't actually keep a consistent schedule of doing anything outside of the house, what the fuck good is it gonna do me to make a fucking resume reminding me of exactly how worthless of a job candidate we are at this point?

Whoops, that Got Deep real quick, haha. But like, seriously, what the shit do I even put on a resume aside from the fact that we accidentally started the Psychology Club at our high school? If we use the non-chronological resume format it'll make the employment gap stand out less, but it's supposed to emphasize skills and experience instead, and what fucking skills or whatever can we even put on a resume? What fucking skill set will make you a viable job candidate when you can't even stand for the length of a shower without your legs getting shaky, but you don't have a fancy enough degree or the social stamina to handle a job that doesn't require some form of physical labor? Not to mention I think there's also supposed to be a made-up cover letter, something like "Hi I'm XYZ and I'm applying for ABC job with this resume", what the fucking shit can I even put for that when I know how Ridiculously Limited we are at this point?

A bunch of blathered nonsense to fill a page with lots of words and hopefully conceal the fact that we're completely making shit up. That's what. Because I can't just say "I'm Pretty Much Fucked in terms of traditional employment because chronically ill autistic multiple, and am trying to plan out a career in online comics, or if online law school becomes a thing I'll gladly use my psych degree for that." That's how you fail an assignment, even if it's the truth. I can't exactly write a cover letter to the internet announcing our intent to try that shit. So. Yeah. All aboard the Blathering Train, instead.

But yeah, anyway, that's enough financial/career angst for right now. Back to dysphoria angst!, lolol.

Yeah, so, here I am staring at this shit in the search bar and just.. Like, I don't even know if it would be medically safe to try HRT at this point, but aside from that, I don't even think that's what we want, ideally? Not interested in dealing with facial hair, armpit and "downstairs" hair already pisses some of us off enough..

Not sure if we're interested in being perceived as male, I guess, but not really wanting to be perceived as female either? I'm pretty sure at this point most of us are either specifically agender, or don't subscribe to the concept of gendering traits at all and just call themselves non-binary..

Like, the vast majority of us have fucking hated the body's boobs since they first showed up in middle school. We gave Not A Fuck for gendered shit, in general, but on an autistic sensory level we Fucking Despise pressure on the body's chest and these bitches are heavy. Even moreso than usual, recently, what with the hormones being fucked up. Fucking hate it.

But like, how do you explain to a doctor that you want the boobs off completely? The best we can probably realistically hope for is a reduction because back pain, but I dunno if it would Raise Questions if we asked what the smallest possible size they could do was. Could we settle for As? Would it be weird to ask to go from DDs to As? Weird enough that someone would take the time to be like "now hang on a second" and start trying to make us go through the red tape bullshit to be on record as Officially A Trans TM?

If we could get away with not wearing a bra without looking like we're wearing weird droopy melons under our shirt, I feel like that much would be enough for several of us, even if the body did still technically have some small boobage. As long as it didn't impede us or anything we wanted to do, if it didn't get in the way or weigh down on our chest, if it didn't make our shirts fit weird, I feel like we could deal with that..

But then I see this trans bro on YouTube here and hhnnghh why can't we just not have themmmm..

I mean, ideally, why can't the fuckers be detachable so those who don't hate them can put them on when they feel like it and the rest of us can go on our merry way without them, but, heh, science isn't quite there yet.. Next best thing seems like it would be getting top surgery and letting whomever felt like having boobs just stuff a bra when they wanted to. But of course, insurance won't pay for it if it's just because We Really Want It, we'd have to either be Officially Trans TM and jump through all those hoops and hope top surgery is covered, or we'd have to just settle for a breast reduction covered under back pain.

I guess it also Says Something, that so many of us in the system are asexual-and/or-gay dudes, or simply never thought about it and are female "by default" aka because the body was categorized as that and we didn't care enough about gender to think there was any other option, we just accepted the narrative presented to us, that we were just "not like other girls." None of us have ever felt super masculine or super feminine, that I can recall, because What The Fuck Even Is Gender, and why the fuck is it necessary to divide up traits into human-created categories anyway..

But it makes it hard to figure out exactly where we are in terms of transness.. We've known Basically Forever that we "aren't like other girls," but gender means so little to us that we never particularly wanted to be a boy either, so calling ourselves a trans guy or even just non-binary transmasculine still seems odd, even though it seems like the latter should fit..

But then, how much of that is just cisheteronormativity in action? Because I know we've had several dreams wherein we had a wang and it felt pretty natural, not foreign and out of place like the body's current genitalia setup. But like, what the fuck does wang-creating surgery even look like, that sounds like a whole mess of complicated shit to figure out, and we're already medically compromised..

With the arrival of our newest non-straight dude, one of several in the system, some of us have had to seriously reexamine where we stand on gender shit. I guess at this point it's generally accepted that we would have been much better suited to existence as "semi-effeminate AMAB homoflexible non-binary ace," rather than "pan-quoiro AFAB possibly transmasculine non-binary ace"..

I guess it feels like masculine should have been the starting point that we feminized to our liking, instead of starting off with feminine and not knowing if we want to be "masculine enough" to be categorized as "transmasculine".. Is it "masculine enough" if we want the boobs off but can't do HRT because half the shit this other video mentions sounds just as bad as having the boobs? We can't stand body hair and acne and all that, and god knows how HRT would even work with all the hormonal issues the body's already having..

The more I think about what we ultimately would ideally want, the more it seems like we would really just prefer having no AFAB reproductive parts/periods and no boobs, maybe a wang and a lower voice, and that's it. I guess maybe we could try out the aesthetic of some minimal beardage, but body hair in general already irritates several of us.. So like, for various reasons I don't see HRT happening.

We already know most of us would have the boobs off tomorrow if we could, but I guess what's tripping some of us up now is the fact that Vern is way less genitalia-repulsed than most of us, and in fact seems to generally handle the notion of Having A Body better than most of us.. And he definitely identifies as a guy, a non-binary semi-effeminate robot guy but still definitely masc-leaning, so.. What does it say about us if so many of us have already been questioning this for so long, and now the one who's most secure in his gender identity out of all of us is one of our masc-leaning non-binary guys?

I don't even know how we would.. React to it, I guess, if we did try to.. I dunno, embrace being transmasculine or something.. It doesn't feel like we'd prefer to do anything drastically different, behavior-wise, and we don't care enough about pronouns to try to figure out something gender-neutral that isn't "they" because gender-neutral "they" within a plural "they" system is confusing as fuck.. So like, I don't think most of us on the fence about being transmasculine would change our names or whatever, or use he/him pronouns, it would just.. Feel better to not have certain anatomical bits be perceived as part of who we are?

But then that just kind of makes us wonder if we're being a Bad Trans TM or something, like if that counts as reducing gender to body parts or something.. This is all so goddamn complicated.

Hot damn, finally got around to looking up some YouTubeage about how the fuck a phalloplasty actually works.. Taking skin, fat, a nerve, and an artery from the donor site to make it, that sounds so fucking unnerving to even think about, taking body stuff from one area and like.. Making a wang? Ughh, there are so many stages.. Yeah, no, even getting the AFAB reproductive bits out seems like possibly too much intense surgery for us, I don't see how we could ever manage this kind of bottom surgery, shit sounds fucking terrifying, I guess the notion of taking so much shit from another area on the body just kind of gets us in a body horror kind of way..

So yeah, I don't see us being able to do that.. And I mean, we're not really sexually-focused to begin with, so like, aside from just the base-level comfort of Having It, it's not like we'd desperately Need a wang or anything to have a fulfilling life? Just NOT having the AFAB reproductive shit/periods, that would be the main thing, not having that shit and not having the boobs. If we had a lower voice we could pass as a guy if we wanted to, and we'd probably like that, but weighing that one thing against the whole list of other shit that comes with HRT, it's probably not worth it.

But how do you ask for, much less get covered for, removing the boobs and reproductive stuff with no Official Medical Reason, just "because I don't want it"? Non-binary dysphoria doesn't seem like it would be considered a Valid Enough reason for it to be covered, but we don't want to go into a Full Transition either, so.. yeah, I dunno how we'll end up being more comfortable just existing in the body, with so many roadblocks.

I dunno, objectively it's probably internalized transphobia/nb-phobia or whatever the name for that is, not feeling "trans enough" and whatnot.. But I guess part of it is also, why can't we just be a fucking gender mystery and be allowed to exist that way? It's our fucking meatsuit, why do we have to pigeonhole ourselves into either Male or Female just for our insurance to believe that certain bodyparts cause us extreme dysphoria and we'd be better off without them? Why can't we just be a person with no boobs and maybe a wang and a voice that can't be readily identified as male or female?

I dunno why I'm even rambling about this, I know why, cisheteronormativity and various historical fuckeries, et cetera. I guess it's just frustrating trying to figure out where we are on the gender spectrum when we're blocked from making the modifications that would make the body feel less alien to us. Maybe if we could actually get top surgery, we would have a better idea of whether we consider ourselves transmasculine or just some kind of masc-leaning genderfluid non-binary, which is where several of us seem to be right now..

Hnngh. This guy seems like a good example of where we might end up one day if we do end up trying out HRT, but the idea of the body being more of a pain than it already is in terms of body hair/acne/et cetera just seems so shitty..

Haha, is it weird that I'm kind of hoping that ovarian cyst will end up being cancer and they'll give us an option to remove the whole reproductive setup in there? Because we would do that shit in a heartbeat. What's that called, a hysterectomy? A total laparoscopic hysterectomy with bilateral ovary-something-something.. How do you convince insurance that you Need that to improve your quality of life, without establishing yourself as Fully Transitioning?

Wow, this guy's scars are so small, huh, would have thought it'd be worse.. Goddamn, we'd love to have all that shit taken out. Not like we're fucking using any of it, it's just been causing us more and more agony since puberty, can't be doing this fucking 11-day period bullshit anymore, the dysphoria was bad enough on its own..

ugh, why the fuck am I even looking at all this, not like we can do any major surgeries for a while yet, if at all..

I don't know, I guess trying to work out what we would collectively be least-dysphoric with is useful, it's just extra depressing thinking about how hard it'll be to get the boobs off, or even reduced, much less the whole reproductive removal biz.. feh. Time to ramble about something else.

hmph, actually, should probably do the other quiz for that pass/fail class.. -.- That way we can just deal with the resume/goal list bullshit tomorrow, mmmmboy.. meh, that would require more focus than I probably have though, guess it'll be tomorrow.

I dunno. The 10th-to-12th anniversary is fast approaching, probably best to just disappear into distractions a bit longer, at least until it's passed. Still not sure if it'd be best to avoid tumblr or what, on the 12th, but I guess we'll see.. meh.

I am trash with my trashy ships and trashier headcanons someone stop me plz Continuation of my previous post -When do the mind swaps occur? During P4 for Rise's timeline (maybe Naoto's rescue mission?) and During P5 for Ann's timeline (3rd palace? or later but preferably 3rd) -is there a "Rise is dead" timeline? Yes. The timeline where Rise is dead gets overwritten though (similarly but different to KnnW) which is why to everyone in P5 Rise's poster at the station has "always been there" -how do they each deal with hiding their personae "changing" "Ann" volunteers to stay in the second party while exploring the palace on switching days. "Rise" makes excuses about being busy and asks if Teddie can be the navigator that day -do their teammates realize something is off? OBVIOUSLY this is persona we're talking about... The investigation team try to question "Rise" but she is very good at avoiding them on switching days--- probably because they're trying to find her where Rise would go, but it's Ann they're chasing soooooo XD it's the avoiding that's making them more suspicious though lol. The Phantom Thieves are just kinda like "We gotta deal with Kaneshiro*... she's not upset or anything so let's just leave her be. She'll tell us when she's ready" because "Ann" is super bubbly and stuff so it's odd but not necessarily a bad thing... they think? *whatever palace boss they're dealing with at the time -Why wouldn't Ann recognize Rise immediately when they switch bodies? Because Ann is originally in the "Rise's dead" timeline. She probably briefly remembers Risette from when she was in middle school but it's been years since Rise died and when switching bodies she's probably not going to automatically remember a dead idol she may not have even been a fan of. The switching bodies thing is weird enough thank you. But honestly she probably has an odd feeling of dejavu when she looks in the mirror and sees Rise's face but doesn't know where she has seen her before. -Do they have any habits that annoy the other Yesss Rise needs her coffee in the morning. It has to be super dark and bitter with no added ANYTHING or else she's a grump for the rest of the day. And if she's having a stressful day she'll keep drinking coffee the entire day--- aka every time they switch Rise ends up stressing out and ends up drinking enough coffee that she might as well drag an IV around with coffee in it lol Ann hates this because when they switch back she'll be all jittery and sometimes the coffee after taste will still be there when she wakes up and no amount of mouth wash will get rid of it. Ann likes coffee but she has to put lots of sugar and cream in it to the point that it's not really coffee anymore cuz there's no bitterness... (When they meet in person and start dating Ann is constantly telling Rise to go brush her teeth because no way are they kissing when Rise has extreme coffee breath. Rise kisses her anyway because fuck that) When Ann is in Rise's body she eats all of the sweets in Inaba if possible. Rise is [i]livid[/i] because Ann may be able to eat junk and not gain anything but Rise has to work out to maintain her figure thank you very much. (Ann is constantly taking selfies of "herself" while eating these sweets to chronicle what she's eaten that day though, and Rise kinda finds it adorable even tho Ann is in her body and it's kinda weird to see Ann being cute as her) When Rise brings Ann to Inaba for the first time (they still don't remember yet) to try the local sweets Ann is just kinda like "Why is this so familiar-- I've never been to Inaba..." (technically she has but she doesn't count that because she just kinda wandered the outskirts and she can't remember why she did sooo) -Habits they both end up having because of the mind swapping? It starts with Rise writing a sticky note and falling asleep with it on her face. Ann wakes up to "Seriously stop eating so much cake I'm gaining weight this isn't fun >___>" Ann replies back with sticky notes covering Rise's mirror completely that just all say "NO >;D" on them. Then they start a sticky note war that lasts a week or two. Rise's grandma is very confused lol. Once their war ends they will each write little "good morning <3" s to each other or "I made you lunch last night <3" When they meet again in person they still leave sticky notes for each other--- even before they regain their memory of each other--- They have no idea how they started doing this but it's familiar to them both. -When do they start to suspect there's more to the body switching and who notices first? Rise notices almost immediately that the technology level is a little bit too sophisticated for her time. (She just was in Tokyo a couple months ago there's no way it's changed this quickly) but doesn't want to consider maybe something else is going on because she's caught up in hiding her true identity as NOT ANN from the Phantom Thieves--- plus time travel and body swapping at the same time? Ridiculous there's no way--- Ann doesn't notice right away since Inaba is known for being a country-bumpkin kinda place where technology is like a decade behind. One day she tries to search herself on facebook though and--- oh shit thats her in middle school wtf. When she's back in her own body she searches Rise on facebook and finally makes the connection between Rise and Risette.... and finds out that Rise is dead... -How Rise died? I'm still a bit unsure on that. Right now I'm thinking that she was going to take the train back to Tokyo for the weekend to speak with Inoue about restarting her career--- then there is a huge train collision due to Japan's department of Transportation being lazy about stuff (P5 reference lol)---- and no one survives the crash.... There's a memorial at the site of the crash, which is within walking/driving distance of Inaba. All the victims names were written on an epitaph there, which Ann will visits to make sense of Rise having been dead for years already. -How does Ann reset the timeline? I'm still REALLY UNSURE ABOUT THIS ONE ☝️ Mostly because the way Rise dies is kinda still iffy for me.... but also because how the hell is Ann going to stop a train if I keep it as the method of death? Obviously Ann has to recruit Yu and the rest of the investigation team because that girl needs back up on this. The investigation team have complete faith in her because they know that Rise has good intuition--- and they still think she's Rise, even if she's been acting odd lately. When Ann switches to Rise so she can stop the train (or w/e it is), Rise ends up at the memorial in Ann's body. And she's just like; "Oh. Well I guess that explains a lot" - Does the sunset/twilight scene from KnnW happen with the girls in this AU? YES BECAUSE IM NOT ORIGINAL TT-TT ALSO BECAUSE I CAN IMAGINE RISE REALIZING SHE CANT REMEMBER ANN'S NAME AND JUST OPENING UP HER HAND AND SEEING "I LOVE YOU" AND JUST LOOSING HER COMPOSURE COMPLETELY And the rest of the investigation team are just so confused like "Rise we just saved hundreds of people why are you crying?" -How do they meet again? I'm kinda on the fence on if it would be like the end of KnnW or if they end up working together for a photo shoot or something and start hanging out afterwards... both could work very well but I'm leaning towards the original KnnW way because it's cute and the photo shoot one would just be the two of them being like "omg she's hot... and kinda familiar wtf?" -What do their friends think of their relationship? "You two are cute together but holy fuck do you move fast are you sure you don't need to slow down?!?" These two are like the definition of U-hauling with Rise finding herself staying at Ann's house almost every night within a week of knowing her (They're not having sex yet, let alone dating--- I just mean they're extremely domestic w/ each other and everything's just-- so comfortable?) Like Rise wakes up to Ann cooking breakfast one morning and is just like "Wow she's so amazing! I could spend the rest of my life with her" and then she has to backtrack that thought like "We aren't even dating where did that even come from?" And their friends are supportive but also like "You two need to slow down you act like you're already married" Surprise they've been kinda sorta dating since Rise was a first year in high school XDD ---- Gdhsiqnxosnsoakyxahabhss GDI WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!?
