RESOURCE DIRECTORY 2.0 + HOW TO NAVIGATE USERGIF
Hello! We hit 10k followers! I want to take this moment to thank all our wonderful followers and the talented members of usergif! We created this blog less than 2 years ago and are constantly blown away by your support and beautiful creations. As a thank-you, we're proud to announce our new and improved resource directory!!! Shout out to arithemes' custom page which allowed us to create a more streamlined and organized directory for everyone to use. Under the cut, you'll find a guide to help you find exactly the resource you're looking for on our blog. Happy gifmaking! :)
THE UPDATED DIRECTORY
All resources are in alphabetical order first by the creator's URL (at the time of entry), then by the resource's title. Each title is a clickable link that'll redirect you to the original post. Beneath that, you'll find the creator's URL and the resource's relevant filter tags:
As always, whenever I add new entries to the directory, you'll see the last date listed on the right side of the blog here:
If you don't see one of your recent tutorials listed there, please be patient. I update the directory on a monthly basis, but only add resources that have already exited our queue.
THE FILTERS
Please note: the Source section has exclusive filters, meaning you can only select one at a time. In the Type and Effects sections, you can select as many filters as you want. However, if you select 2 filters in one section, like "animated" and "blending," it'll show results for any resource with either of those tags, not necessarily resources that include both of those tags.
Here's a breakdown of how we categorize our resources:
Source: ↳ all: posted by any creator ↳ usergif: posted by usergif
Type: ↳ all: click this to reset filter selections ↳ action: pre-recorded photoshop functions that can be replayed ↳ basics: non-effects-related resources to help new gifmakers get their feet off the ground (please remember usergif is not a resource for beginner-level gifs and focuses on intermediate to advanced gif effects. however, we thought it would be helpful to keep some basic resources available) ↳ brush: various brush shapes like ripped paper edges or intricate textures ↳ fonts: names and links to fonts or font packs ↳ template: pre-made, downloadable layouts and designs ↳ texture: overlays that add a different finish to a gif such as Ben Day dots (retro comic dots) or glitter ↳ tutorial: any post that provides an explanation for a gif effects process ↳ other
Effect: ↳ all: click this to reset filter selections ↳ animated: an effect that applies movement to an element such as rotating text or wiggling shapes ↳ blending: aka double exposure, this effect combines two or more gifs layered on top of each other ↳ color: specifically for color manipulation, an effect in which the original colors are completely different (e.g. a blue sky colored to look pink) ↳ glitch: an effect where color channels are toggled and layered over the original gif to give a flickering effect ↳ layout: multiple gifs on one canvas like a collage (e.g. hexagon layout) or poster-style templates ↳ overlay: an added element layered above a gif (excluding text) such as a shape, another gif confined to a shape, a texture, etc. ↳ transition: an effect that stylizes the passage from one scene/clip into another, such as a fade, glitch, linear wipe, or motion blur transition ↳ typography: any kind of stylized text added over a gif (does not include basic captions)
You can find examples of all these gif effects via their respective tags on our Nav!
THE SEARCH BAR
This search bar functions the same way as the search bar in the upper right corner of our main blog and the search function on Tumblr's mobile app.
Tumblr search allows you to generate results using keywords found in the body of the post or the tags. So, if you're looking for a post but can only remember it having the word "rotoscoping," you can type that in either in the directory's search or blog's search and find any post on our blog that mentions the exact keyword "rotoscoping."
THE NAV & TAGS
Tags function differently from search keywords as these relate to exact words and phrases found only in the tags, not the body of the post. Our members use tags to categorize original posts and reblogs. Some of our most frequently used tags are listed on our Navigation Page and saved in the mobile search function pictured below:
But if you ever want to quickly navigate a tag, simply add /tagged/word to the end of our url to find that tag! For example, if you want to see all the posts we've tagged as a #tutorial, just go to usergif.tumblr.com/tagged/tutorial.
BROKEN LINKS
Whether it's due to a creator frequently changing their url, the absence of an automatic blog redirect, or my own mistakes when coding the directory — you may stumble upon a broken link. Here's what to do:
If a creator has changed their username but their blog doesn't automatically redirect you to the new blog, check if they listed their new user name in the title of their old blog like I did:
In this case, simply replace the url you landed on with this new url. For example, https://sith-maul.tumblr.com/post/692130400398704640/how-to-make-an-animated-google-search-overlay-a → would become → https://cal-kestis.tumblr.com/post/692130400398704640/how-to-make-an-animated-google-search-overlay-a
However, if you can't figure out the creator's new url or in the case that I messed up the link due to human error, feel free to send us a message so I can help find the source or correct the mistake!
WHERE TO FIND THIS INFO AGAIN
If you ever need to access this guide while using the directory, simply click the "i" button here:
And that's it! We hope this revamped directory is a lot more efficient and helpful. Thank you again for all your support and for helping us reach this follower milestone!

Okay, I’m gonna stick to the raw evidence I’ve seen, so here’s the facts that I have available to me.
I have barely ever even seen predstrogen post pictures, period, let alone seen a mistagged nsfw picture on her blog. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened, but I can’t find it so I can’t assume it’s there.
On the other hand, I have seen examples of several anonymous asks, sent both to her and other tumblr users about her, that would definitely constitute harassment.
A few of those asks were sent by non-anonymous users and all the one’s I have seen have been banned
I have seen the cars and hammers post.
The cars and hammers post is so hilariously not a threat I’d be laughing if the subject of the post were not taking it as an excuse to ban a trans woman for life from the platform he executives.
Several different tumblr users have pointed out that there is an ongoing harassment campaign against predstrogen, presumably referring to the asks I mentioned in 2.
@photomatt answered an ask last night about the growing sentiment among trans women on tumblr that staff is transphobic, in which he claimed that she had made multiple TOS violations, including posting unlabeled nsfw pictures, threatening people, and harassing them. He also misgendered her initially, but edited the post after several people pointed it out(although first he changed the wording to refer to “the account”)
When pressed to show these tos violations, Matt provided a screenshot of (initially url-less, later shown to be) predstrogen commenting on how she thought posting about her death wishes about Matt would get her banned, which he later added the context of the above post being the cars and hammers post.
Predstrogen’s account was banned, as well as the second account(apparently she has had to make new accounts a few times due to getting banned for similar issues, but I’ve only followed her for less than a year) she made to document most of the things that happened to her.
Specifcslly, her first account was banned after posting a completely sfw transition timeline photo, and her second account was banned right after posting a screenshot of the above mentioned reply, with more or less incredulity at the fact that the ask response referenced contacting the police and fbi.
Matt seems to be taking the backlash personally, publicly apologizing for the perceptions of transphobia on his personal blog and lamenting the initial ask reply. He has not done anything to indicate a reversal on the predstrogen decision, and insists that there are many more examples of harassment from her. He has answered several more asks and repeatedly encouraged people to “not patronize a business you think is transphobic”
SO, what can we draw from these facts? Well, one thing I can say, for sure, is that with what I currently know and what I have seen, predstrogen should not have been banned. Unless Matt has some significantly more egregious examples of threats, or examples of harrassment(people calling you transphobic isn’t harassment), or any examples of an unlabeled mature post(hell I don’t think I’ve even seen a labeled mature posts on her blog), then I think any bans applied to her accounts are in error and if staff are sitting on a big pile of nothing and not doing that, that is gonna draw their morality and ability to effectively moderate this site into even further question than it has been.
The terfs I’ve seen harassing Rita, at least when they’re stupid enough to leave their names visible, have been banned. I can’t follow the thread to see if claims about them being able to easily remake accounts and continue doing terf shit because i don’t run in terf circles enough to know who they were and what happened afterward. Assuming they aren’t back, this is a good thing, and I’ll give that point of credit where it’s due. However, it is worth noting that while Rita remains banned, this still looks like transphobia and deplatforming and threatening a trans woman(actually threatening her. With, y’know, the fbi). If I wanted to be extremely uncharitable, I could point out that banning terfs and trans women doesn’t make a space safe for trans women, and in fact makes it look like you’re only banning the terfs so you can say “well we don’t allow terfs so we can’t be transphobic!”
Conclusión: Im really disappointed with staff and with tumblr’s ceo in particular. It’s not hard to see why a lot of popular trans blogs are considering moving off platform and tons more are expressing general frustration. In particular, what has happened to predstrogen demonstrates a terrifying cycle that scares me and makes me worried for my own safety if I ever attract a large following on here. She has been targeted by terfs, apparently for years, in an open harassment campaign and has been threatened multiple times. She has referenced having stalkers. She is repeatedly suspended for community violations that are later referred to as “bugs”, but then suddenly one day she’s banned permanently for a post that doesn’t violate tos at all, and when she makes another account to call attention to this wrongful ban, she is banned again and threats about bringing in law enforcement are made by the ceo of the website. A woman that is the subject of years of harassment and credible threats to her safety is being gaslit about being the perpetrator of those very same things, and nothing is being brought to light to verify those claims.

Any legal name change - marriage, divorce, adoption, transition, all require all of these, and likely more, but let's talk a moment about the Internet.
Social media is fairly easy to do in most cases, unless you have a professional online persona attached to your name. I greatly irritated my partner when I added both names to some accounts for a time, in an attempt to teach the search engines who I am now. Slowly, I changed first one, then the other, but it took literal years for me to change my @ for one site, simply because I didn't know I COULD change my URL on Twitter! LinkedIn was also a very, very slow change.
Now, email! A pro tip from someone through the trenches. Keep it! Keep the old name (unless it is particularly troublesome or triggering in some manner). Use the old name for junk - store discount plans, registering for sweepstakes, get our newsletter and same $5 - all those pointless nothings that fill your in box. Make the new name your "important" email. Give that one to your trusted family/friends, a lawyer, the autopay bills - anyone you actually want to see email from. It is a great opportunity to shed that electronic baggage!!!

Exploring the "Sites" Feature in Rocks Video Player: Your Gateway to Seamless Online Streaming
Rocks Video Player is already known for its advanced video playback and organizational tools, but its "Sites" feature adds a powerful new dimension to its functionality. Designed with user convenience in mind, the Sites feature makes it easy to access and organize online streaming sites, bringing favorite web content directly into the app. This tool caters to users who prefer quick access to online videos without needing to switch between applications, making Rocks Video Player an integrated media and browsing hub.
What is the "Sites" Feature?
The Sites feature in Rocks Video Player allows users to save, organize, and directly access their favorite online video platforms within the app itself. This convenient feature streamlines the process of finding and watching web-based videos by keeping users’ most-used sites just a tap away. Instead of navigating through different browsers or apps, the Sites feature consolidates preferred streaming sources, offering a more efficient way to access online video content.
Key Benefits of the Sites Feature
One-Stop Hub for Streaming: For those who regularly stream from multiple websites, the Sites feature in Rocks Video Player provides a central location for all saved links. This eliminates the hassle of toggling between multiple apps, helping users quickly access their preferred sources from a single, organized location.
Enhanced Organization and Accessibility: The Sites feature allows users to manage their favorite streaming sites, ensuring they’re easy to locate whenever needed. It’s especially helpful for users who frequently browse different content platforms, like video tutorials, streaming services, or news sites. Users can store sites within the app and organize them according to personal preferences, creating a customized, efficient browsing experience.
Faster Streaming and Viewing Experience: By having direct links to video sites within the Rocks Video Player, users can enjoy faster access to online content without going through extra steps. This streamlined approach cuts down on loading times and distractions, providing a more direct viewing experience that brings online videos to the user with minimal interruption.
Using the Sites Feature
Using the Sites feature is intuitive and user-friendly. Here’s a brief overview of how it works:
Adding a Site: Users can add their favorite streaming sites to Rocks Video Player by accessing the Sites tab within the app. This feature usually provides an option to enter the website URL directly, making it easy to customize and build a personalized list of online video sources.
Organizing Sites: Once saved, these sites can be organized according to personal preference, whether by frequency of use, type of content, or any other categorization that suits the user. This organization enhances navigation and ensures that users can find and access their content effortlessly.
Seamless Transition Between Content Types: The Sites feature is fully integrated within the app, so users can switch from watching local videos on their device to streaming online content without leaving the player. This seamless transition between offline and online media content is one of Rocks Video Player’s most appealing aspects, providing an uninterrupted and versatile entertainment experience.
Why the Sites Feature Stands Out
In a world where digital media consumption is rapidly evolving, Rocks Video Player's Sites feature sets it apart by blending streaming and local media into one cohesive platform. Unlike conventional media players that restrict users to offline content, Rocks Video Player enhances its usability by allowing access to both stored and web-based videos. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for users who want a comprehensive tool that adapts to varied entertainment needs.
Final Thoughts
The Sites feature in Rocks Video Player transforms the app from a simple media player into a full-fledged media and streaming hub, catering to users who crave convenience and versatility. By organizing preferred streaming sources directly within the app, Rocks Video Player ensures users can enjoy their favorite content without interruptions or additional apps.
Whether you're a fan of video tutorials, enjoy streaming movies, or simply want quick access to online content, the Sites feature enhances your experience by putting the web's best video content at your fingertips. Rocks Video Player continues to innovate in the way users engage with media, providing tools that make entertainment more accessible, organized, and enjoyable.
With features like these, Rocks Video Player is more than just a video player—it's a gateway to limitless online and offline video content, all accessible from one intuitive interface.

How are Ransomware Gangs evolving their game and strategy?
Ransomware gangs, through the expansion of toolset, adoption of new monetization models and use of advanced technology, are re-shaping the attack landscape — moving it away from the commodity-styled ‘spray and pray’ attacks to ones that are more targeted in scope and disruptive in impact.
Ransomware attacks are becoming more prevalent and a ‘weapon of choice’ for cybercriminals. Ransomware was named the top threat type in 2021 accounting for 21% of all cyber attacks1 while the total number of attacks witnessed a staggering 105% jump during 2021 compared to 20202. One of the factors fuelling the rise, is the active role of ransomware gangs who are devising new techniques, executing coordinated campaigns and running cartelized operations to realize greater payoffs. By leveraging complex vectors and unique tactics, these gangs are re-shaping the ransomware landscape, moving it away from the commodity-styled ‘spray and pray’ attacks to ones that are more targeted in scope and disruptive in impact.
But how exactly are ransomware gangs orchestrating the attacks and what key levers are they exploiting in their tradecraft? A number of them — that include, the expansion of toolset, the ability to rebrand themselves, adoption of new monetization models and operating structures, and the use of advanced technology.
How ransomware gangs are orchestrating the attacks and new key levers in their tradecraft?
Expansion of toolset
With cyber extortion turning out to be a thriving industry, several financially motivated threat actors are seen transitioning to targeted ransomware operations. Besides, they are embracing the use of novel malware, expanding the toolset, and incorporating new initial access vectors, to inflict maximum disruption. FIN7 (aka Carbanak), a Russian-speaking, financially motivated actor known for its resourceful and diverse set of tactics, custom-made malware, and stealthy backdoors, has added ransomware to its repertoire. Researchers at Mandiant, who continue to observe and track the group’s operations, have published a rich new set of FIN7 indicators of compromise based on the analysis of novel malware samples3. Among the notable shifts observed are diversification of initial access techniques to include software supply chain compromise and use of stolen credentials, data theft extortion, and evolution of PowerShell-based backdoor (known as PowerPlant) into new variants.
Similarly, another Russian ransomware gang has been reportedly repurposing custom tools developed by other APT groups such as Iran’s MuddyWater, to gain unauthorized access to victim’s network through the abuse of stolen credentials.
Constant rebranding and restructuring
A key feature in the evolution of ransomware gangs (especially the more accomplished ones) has been the ability to reinvent and rebrand themselves, applying lessons learned from their previous activities as well as those of other gangs prior to starting new campaigns. The emergence of the BlackMatter ransomware gang is a perfect example. Born out of the “retirements” of REvil and DarkSide gangs, BlackMatter publicly stated that it wouldn’t target critical infrastructures, a nod to the pressure designed for deterrence applied to the REvil and DarkSide groups (causing both to fold after their disruption of Colonial Pipeline and the meat supplier JBS). The threat group that created the REvil RaaS (aka Sodonokibi) is now identified as a former affiliate of GandCrab, which retired in 2019 and is claimed to have purchased the GrandCrab source code. In turn, the Darkside ransomware came from a former REvil affiliate that evidently decided to move up.
The REvil gang too has resurfaced amidst rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine, after having shut down in October 2021, following a law enforcement operation. However, instead of showing the old websites, the old infrastructure has been redirecting visitors to new URLs for an unnamed ransomware operation. Such rebranding efforts are helping the gangs draw fresh focus and attention to new campaigns while also serving to escape the law enforcement lens.
Shift in organization structure and business model
The ransomware gangs are increasingly becoming more sophisticated, not just in terms of business models but also in posturing as corporate entities. According to a study by Analyst14, several ransomware gangs including Twisted Spider (creators of Maze and Egregor ransomware), Viking Spider (creators of the Ragnar Locker ransomware), Wizard Spider (creators of Conti and Ryuk ransomware) and Lockbit Gang combined forces sometime in May 2020 to form a cartel of sorts to coordinate attacks and data leaks, share intelligence and infrastructure. The cartel-like operating model is often seen as an effective way for ransomware gangs to pool their resources, technology, infrastructure, and expertise and evade law enforcement.
Secondly, the business model of ransomware gangs has evolved significantly, with a majority of operators now adopting a franchise model — often referred to as ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS). The most notable example is REvil. Its business model relies on the recruitment of operatives to distribute the ransomware on its behalf, with the parent company taking a portion of all revenue. This approach has been enabling malicious actors to rapidly scale their efforts, while at the same time allowing them to weaponize data captured during incursions.
Another significant shift is with respect to the organizational structure, with ransomware gangs moving away from isolated cells to being operated as organized entities via an affiliated model and offering 24/7 help desks staffed by representatives. FIN7, for example, is known to have been operating a phony pentesting firm named “Bastion Secure” to hire network intrusion specialists. Another ransomware gang — Hive’s ransom notes are known to have a link to a “sales department” which allows victims to contact them through live chat — almost like customer service.
New ways to monetize attacks
The extortion tactics of ransomware groups have also evolved moving beyond the simple payment-for-decryption model seen in earlier attacks. Some have diversified into DDoS attacks, while others have opted for data theft, accompanied by ‘name and shame’ tactics. Threatening to publish victims’ data on dark web, auctioning off the data to make a profit and using the threat of security non-compliance to extort victims are some of the most common monetization models. The Babuk group, for example, now focuses entirely on data exfiltration rather than encryption while REvil gang is using open-source intelligence (OSINT) to track down their victims’ senior executives and customers and bully them into paying.
Expansive use of AI and automation
To increase the velocity and volume of attacks, ransomware gangs such as Lockbit, Ryuk, and Conti groups are adding automation capabilities across their attack cycle. They are increasingly using bots to automate the initial attack that gets them a foothold in the system which is lowering the barrier to entry for low-skilled threat actors. Wizard Spider for example, is adding new automation into Ryuk that uses Wake-on LAN functionality to discover hosts before spreading the ransomware payload on its own. It also uses the technology to power on systems so that it can infect them. A few others such as Hive, DarkSide and BlackCat are targeting virtualization platforms on dark web marketplaces. DarkSide, for example, deployed Linux versions of its ransomware on VMware ESXi hosts. Besides, these groups are also leveraging automated marketplaces to sell stolen credentials, and automated keyloggers, sniffers and brute-forcers among others to carry out large-scale attacks.
How can organizations thwart ransomware attacks?
The constantly evolving toolsets and attack tactics of ransomware gangs requires organizations to up the ante by adopting dynamic, multi-layered defence. It is essential to incorporate threat intelligence and early warning technologies into any posture. An ML-based threat hunting solution like SISA ProACT can help prevent and detect ransomware attacks through an expanded set of use cases and actionable threat advisories. Besides, best practices such as frequent patching, use of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and backups, and a robust endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution can help guard against ransomware attacks.

What size houses? How many windows, doors, or decors for yours? At least four, but easily more w/ SpaceMagic design, the right intentions for the community, and miracles combined: Dreams come true. My son created music for an epic poem as I created these houses, then left before I could ever let the world know what he accomplished. I will until I die, share the reason why wii live to give. I am coming up on 12 year anniversary of the Song of Salvage being released in both its forms. My son created one, and the other is attributed to a ghostly apparition known as Johnny B and the Apostle of Salvage or (WUB). All part of a series of pieces that help create the Quantum Story of Wibblry and WUB manifested decades after its first words were written down. Sometimes it takes a few lifetimes to understand the one you live, as it did to understand Mii. How many "I"s came before the One I have become. Thanks for your support through the transitions.
was created after but put out to the universe before. I had to learn how to create videos to produce the amateur but for mii, a heartfelt miracle from my epic poem. His only song was a true-to-the-word version as his only gift ever to the world in music form, completed and recorded, self-taught in 2008. He passed in April 2011. Adam Brad Kittel. The second version where I take down a house to music as a seminar in 7 days, the last for mii, the 1st anniversary of his death as with this incredible house wii took down to save and give new life to, a stairway to Heaven that had to fall in the end... yes... the last few seconds of the video. To music, 150 years of stairs climbed to reach dreamland, on a1 1/2 inch thick wall falls, stalls in mid-air, and then rests softly down to never be climbed again. Just like the body and our gift of life... created with a purpose, a beginning, and an end. Miracles in a box that I will send around the world to bring new life to a vision for many communities that can come to be with the right windows, floors, and more practically free. Yes, doors of opportunity that will bring much joy, but also seeds of what Wii can do if wii just Unite Beings One and All. First, to share the treasures of the past that are abundant here and show how this can create a clear and easy path for all. In the processing of the past into a future wii can show what can be created from the salvage of what our ancestors did grow. This is to prove that wii waste too much; the best of treasures go unseen or touched into a dumpster, landfill, or much worse, burnt down to ashes for some new construction, road, or parking lot, for a highrise being all wii got with the best stuff thrown away.
If I can help a thousand people start the villages to keep this thought that wii can save the world’s past to put into new forms that honor it instead of killing the lifetimes of work that are instilled in statues, art forms throughout houses, buildings, barns, and thus give us a chance to create from the past a future with parts that will last. NO outgassing chemicals, killing new trees, or the pollution that goes with making new parts to create our homes; use the great parts more than once. This was the way it once was done, to take the parts of what was to form the future so the kids would know through stories that would always go with them. A corbel from a mansion, a railing from a train, and a ladder from a firetruck all combined to soon create an amazing house for a master suite from all salvage sweet. Stained glass windows, Indian Teak cabinets, and so much more can be combined, so all adore the structure; though it is Art, it is more; it’s a home you can live on for a lifetime in store, in fact, many more. Why not consider becoming a daydreamer and forming the future today? Take what you envision and write down everything you need to create a good start. Shall wii create one or three examples to be what you need to get it off the ground? Can you find the good friends and the people this depends on to be the successes I choose? If you can, just send me the ideas to see if Wii could unite in the end to get this to you through the loopholes that rule what can ship and get past all the hoops. The cost of the shipping, the loading, and giving $1,000 to pay for the last that it takes to get this sent from my warehouses to you is the thing that must be figured out to be sure that you can do the part that you need. Just to get it there with a plan you can share and the proof you are truthful, thus freed. Please let me know soon if this is a plan you can use for the people you have close to you who are dreaming and willing to do the work, giving money and support to help you to do what will benefit all. Help mii send out the seed for many gardens of dreams where the future can thrive with the housing for the life that you envision and soon not just dream, but build and fulfill the calling if you will, and thus help mii get these gifts to those I find.
This is what I offer to some dreamers far and wide. These metal boxes will contain the parts it takes to start again, salvaged from the dreams of men who lived a hundred years in them. Windows that have seen a few lifetimes of people who looked out through sand melted to glass by kids who dug the coal from mines and melted it to form the finds that wii will send to you, the windows to the world that keep the weather out it’s true, are still good for a few hundred years if you can, to be the homes for many to begin, to build from trees cut way-back-when, a future for the dreams they have and work on actively to form the future for the kids who will be born while this gift is crossing the seas. I pray the message reaches those from whom I hear the pleas; this is the best empowerment I can offer what they need the means to create houses and chapels where the people meet to build a future salvaged from the past with their human energy. Please share, get involved, and find the places to create so that one day this quantum story will be shared far and wide as fate would have us do this soon, or I fear it is too late to reverse the trends of technology and waste the best to date. Thank you for your time and help. Your sharing could be quite great for a writer who will celebrate a story that won’t be erased by anyone who knows that it is the product of our thoughts that lives and always grows. Dialogue and helping others see where they are blind give them the resources they may not easily find and empower them to create the solutions they need to find happiness through the unity that communication brings. Let us share with open hearts and honor truth above all things so that wii, the “I”s that make up the world, can finally agree. Wii, as One great World of Beings who care for the best for all, will find a balance in which Wii can share the middle road. Simpler living with respect for all who share the Earth will get us more by far than any war and finally set us free to find peace on a planet that has been cursed due to hate and greed. Can that be put to bed at last? I suspect Wii will soon See. Wii, Trinity, and Mii, hope to hear from you and perhaps even see you on our world tour to help design, build, and create from seeds a quantum story that includes you too. Thanks for your help, reading these long posts, and helping us by getting a subscription for a little bit to thus create the solutions for us all. Please contact us at [email protected] to get more information or make a contribution through such paths as wii may have for friends who wish to show support but also get some benefits. Lots of plans and house parts at discounts that help us and you to do the thing each has to do to help make all our dreams come true. Share it with the people just one degree away, and that is who I seek to reach. Please understand he way that the word will reach around the world is just one person away. Once there was a saying that most people are connected by 6 degrees of separation: meaning they are linked 6 people away. Now that wii can reach around the world to those wii know who are beyond the reach of people yet, connected by the internet. With the speed of light, it seems, viruses can take a meme and put it out to all the peeps who have a phone while billions sleep. The meaning may be hard for those who monitor the words that go across cyberspace so the people do not know for the best of what wii still may find is the paths down which to go. Narratives are like traffic cops who direct you to the way they want you to go even though you know there are better paths to take. So if you want more, like to create a flow where you truly may not need all the things some find when they are going blind from the lights that stay bright in the big cities. Nature is soon lost, and green leaves are very seldom seen in so many cities around the world that it has become extreme. Who can deny greenery is part of what our bodies need to find the peace that comes for free from the frequencies that nature brings into our life? Sounds refresh us from a waterfall or singing birds. Crickets and frogs sing a song that lays your head to rest. Grounding and the benefits of the strong high infra-red energy that flows from the Earth through your toes that can heal you from being sick. Mother Nature's gift of ions flows into your bare feet, so you know when looking at the trees, the power flowing through your knees into your heart will benefit your brain as it is pumped: this is natural healing that will balance ions free. Stop the pain of inflammation. Stop the fear from lack of touch, whether people or the planet; you need grounding very much if you plan to heal and help others who need this knowledge too. Why not be the anomaly that goes off to the woods, off into the mountains like the aged Tibetans would? Return rejuvenated to the point of youthing to the point of where your body was when you were 32. If you doubt the possible life, dare to question, not just believe, you will find elders at 118 doing what few of you young bucks could. Do you deny what is possible or be an example so that others who doubt have proof of what good intentions can still do even though you think you are too old to contribute what is true? Wisdom comes from experience, with knowledge and life lived fully so that when wii reach our peak in life, Wii can do what wii came to do. Once some realize that they wii can surmise that the calling they now hear is clear, it is because when it’s time, this will not be a rhyme, but the dialogue Wii need to use as the people then can see what Truth is for mii and you.
Who awakes that I prefer over all the plans inferred by the WHO that has for sure, though the people of the world that do not have vote that's pure. Suppose you are thinking that those who are seeking to empower and communicate the truth, not the fake news, once again, have a chance to still defend our sacred Right to Free Speech. Look about across the Web, and become a Webbler with intent instead of just a sucker on a line of ads that seem to track your life. Become a Wubber spreading WUB, a World Union of Beings (WUB) that all the "I"s make up. The Wii can communicate through touch, our minds, and what wii make. Words of Wibblry in rhyme are zipped files that will unwind in the minds of all who seek to know the path to freedoms that will grow. Wubbling to touch and say that you love and share a way to communicate that few will know, like a secret handshake that will show unity and family around the world, that’s what Wii Be.
Wibbling, sending thoughts that bring images and more to the ones wii love and the Source above that fuels all life Earth may give. This is how wii live. For those awake that give more than words to reality, wii give the seeds and the energy they need to grow trees in the future of our lives.
Wibblizing is creating in a way that also states in an artful form that’s true, full of evidence that there is more than chance that forms what mankind will do. Its a plan that Wii, all the “I”s can see and create all the Lights Wii need to enlighten others to the wonderful powers that the kids being born today can express through life, to one day lead right, and help keep the peace one day.
I create through words and cartoons, Wibblizing to create for you, to express what I mean, and by drawing too, I have hopes I can create with Truth. Inspiration is my goal through Webbling out to the world. I know on a keyboard that I can unfurl a package to be unzipped by you around the world. Unless you share, few will know, few will care or grow these seeds that I planted in your sight. What is in a cartoon now? A picture or a single word, or a combo that will stick in those who see? Wub is an energy of the soul, Spiritual indeed, transmitted, once in the body. It forms WIBs as proofs “I” Be! Wub In Body (WIBs) are Beings that incarnate form a lobby, here to help our species to be part of the Cosmic growth and community that you will see is living all around.
Humans linked with sentient Beings all United for the Freedoms that Wii believe across the Cosmos for the planet Wii all love so. Please accept the poems of Wub and Wibblry a short language for the memes of freedom wii can share to get the pieces all out there. Where oh where do the Wubbers go? Oh, where oh where can they be? Are they hidden now, but will all come out if the communities all start to grow? I suspect and believe that the part I perceive will lead to the dreams that come true when our gift of doors that will open more than most think. It will fire up and inspire like a deeply sought desire for a path to make visions come true, for the seeds of the dream are the gifts I offer to anyone with the faith and friends to manifest and populate the communities it takes to nurture this ethos with you. Pure Salvage Living is all about giving our planet a break from the destruction it takes for progress to pay off. It is true. Some would prefer to live simpler and be sure that nature is not lost in the test of the takings by man until there is no more left and the future is bleak. Let us work to create paradises and lakes, islands that promise to keep some balance for all of the Beings that share our dear planet, give it time to get better after what will be coming, our fate.

Hold up...your theory on all the season finales focusing on Buck and his love interests — Buck ending each season being left by someone he loved (he didn't really love Ali, but doesn't matter). Hold. Up. Not really a theory, but a keen observation of fact on your part! But what was different about season 4, hmm? He almost lost Eddie, but the episode ended with Eddie staying, Eddie choosing Buck. THIS SHOW!!!
911 narrarive parallels are rarely one-on-one, they are like fractals. What on earth is coming next???
(And I am now just remembering that that scene with Buck and Eddie was the final scene of the episode, before the montage.)
I don't know what I'm asking except I would love to hear more of your thoughts on this parallel (or anything else 911 that is on your mind...)
OHohoh be careful what you ask for, I will reach into my brain and splatter the proverbial canvas with every over-analytical triviality I can get my hands on.
@yramesoruniverse I am so happy to see you in my inbox, every time your url pops up on my dash I smile. I vibe with your vibes! Reading your tags on my posts and vice versa feels like we're sitting down with some popcorn to talk shit (affectionate) about this beloved weewoo show.
Okay okay onto the ask - naturally I have some opinions, 90% of my headspace is the weewoo and 10% is nonsense like bills, groceries, my job, school applications, etc. I've got thoughts. So here we go:
I've started realizing this on my latest re-watch, and I just got to the season 3 finale, and as I was shoving my face full of Wendy's I thought to myself, whoa whoa whoa, this is the third finale of this show and the third time I have to see Buck all forlorn and woe is me bc another LI is leaving him. And everything snowballed after that. Let's go in order, and then we're gonna talk about other character's arcs as they manifest in the finale, and then hopefully I can pull this mess together at the end so it makes sense!
Let's preface these analyses by saying that typically season finales are reserved for revisiting the main storylines of characters, and in the case of 9-1-1 which focuses on the personal lives of the first responders, the main storylines revolve around those characters' families. Buck's main storyline is his search for meaningful connection and having something that he can call his own.
1x10: "A Whole New You"
Abby leaves Buck. That's what this boils down to in regards to the theme of this post. After Buck prepared himself to "step into it with her" and "keep her company there," Abby's mom passed away and relieved her of the last thing tethering her in place, resulting in her deciding to travel the world and rediscover herself. I think the title of the episode is hilarious as it relates to Buck and Abby, because it's pretty obvious in Abby's case but in the context of the next season we literally start to see the transition to a "whole new Buck." I hate speaking its name aloud, but Buck 2.0 anyone???
Why Abby leaves: she was afraid she would lose herself if she stayed
What Buck learns: he is capable of a monogamous relationship and actually he might prefer this to the alternative
2x18: "This Life We Choose"
Ali leaves Buck. Her mere existence in this episode shows the audience Buck is actively moving on from Abby. He is trying to make this whole meaningful connection thing work, which feels more authentic to him probably because Ali is already established in his life (sound like someone we know from season 4 anybody??? sorry I digress), but we know how this turns out.
Why Ali leaves: she couldn't handle the inherent danger and unpredictability of his job
What Buck learns: people leave, but you know what will always be there for him? His job. Let's project our entire self-worth onto that, then.
3x18: "What's Next?"
Abby leaves Buck (again, and this time for another man!). It's more like the continuation and finalization of the process she started in the season one finale, but absolutely this gets its own mention. Never mind that Tim said the train was literally a metaphor for Buck. Abby isn't walking off into the vague unknown with this one. She is about to marry a single father (cough cough) and that is the deliberate cut-off to her and Buck's relationship, which leaves him in a bit of a freefall as is obvious during the first bit of season 4 (hello Dr. Copeland, better late than never I suppose).
Why Abby leaves: she found someone who she can be her authentic self with, who she doesn't feel will make her backslide
What Buck learns: everybody walks away, he is always the one left behind, maybe the problem is himself.
4x14: "Survivors"
Eddie almost left Buck. The difference? Abby and Ali both made active choices to leave him. Eddie had to literally get gunned down in the street, through no choice of his own, in order to even be added into this parallel. Considering the culminating events of Buck's story arc throughout the years and especially the plotline we get in season four alone, this is huge, don't you think? I know the writers do, because they literally put up a huge neon sign with the final scene between Buck and Eddie like, "We know Buck always gets left behind at the end of each season but look at this! He isn't! In fact, it's the exact opposite!" and then we're forced to go insane ruminating on the meaning of these choices for an eternity during the hiatus.
This is already obscenely long, and I have some thoughts about other characters and how their main plotlines play out during the season finales, but I'll leave this here for now. Hope this gave you something!
#yramesoruniverse#ask#the writers are insane#the writers are unhinged#season finale parallels#something about being left behind#something about eddie not leaving him behind#Im going insane I think#buddie#evan buckley#meta#season 5 boutta knock me over the head#meta by me

hey sorry to bother you and if this question was asked already in your discord theme code there are likes and random post at the side thats green i was wondering how to add more of those and how to add the ask button because i have asks enabled but when i copied the code the ask function isnt showing up
anon sent another message a little after this that I assume means they figured this out, but just in case it'd help anyone else, I'll go ahead and answer this!
ask and submit
both of these are blog-dependent; if you have the tumblr settings "let people ask questions" and "let people submit posts" turned on, they'll display! make sure to go to your actual blog in a new tab to check that these links appear, because the Customize page can be buggy and not display some stuff even when it's enabled and visible.
more "server" links
this'll take a bit of theme html editing, but it should be fairly simple! just copy/pasting a single line in the right place, then editing that a bit.
To start, you want to find the place in the code you'll be inserting your links, so open up the Edit HTML page in the Customize menu, then Ctrl+F to 'a class="more"'
Just above that (and below "IfShowArchiveLink"), hit enter to get a new line. This is where you'll be adding your links! (There's a screenshot of the complete code at the end of this post, if you'd like visual reference.)
Now, all your links will follow a similar format:
<a href="YOUR-URL-HERE" data-tippy-content="YOUR-LABEL-HERE">SOMETHING-HERE</a>
For all the link types, to make this point to the link you want it to go to:
Change YOUR-URL-HERE to the url you want, e.g. https://tumblr.com
Change YOUR-LABEL-HERE to some text describing the link, e.g. Likes, Following, My Link, whatever. This can technically be as long as you want, but try and keep it short and simple.
Next, figure out what you want as the link icon (SOMETHING-HERE). This can be text, an SVG, or an image, all of which are pictured below:
TEXT: Replace SOMETHING-HERE with whatever text. Keep it short, under 5 letters if you can. Uppercase/lowercase, whatever works.
SVG: Replace SOMETHING-HERE with an SVG, usually in a format similar to:
<svg width="1.5em" height="1.5em" viewbox="...STUFF HERE...">...STUFF HERE...</svg>
IMAGE: Replace SOMETHING-HERE with an image, in the format:
<img src="IMAGE-URL-HERE">
For image servers, you'll also want to add this to the Add Custom CSS section (that's at the bottom of the Customize page, in Advanced options):
servers a img { border-radius: 50%; height: var(--size); width: var(--size); object-fit: cover; transition: inherit; } #servers a:hover img, #servers a.active img { border-radius: 30% }
The HTML that resulted in the above three server-links was this. Note the double-hyphens in each var(); sometimes Tumblr reformats these into long dashes, so you'll have to edit them back by hand:

but The (After)life of the Party is one of THOSE songs to me that’s like… to be cliche… a kick drum beating in my chest (again) like idk. This is one of those songs where I think they succeeded in writing it better than I’ve ever felt it but here I go trying to analyze it anyway… I realize I am taking your shtick @petewentzisblack1312 … but this song NEEDS to be analyzed and I am going to try and make you like it :) I have been lurking in ur asks as an anon for a couple weeks and I HAVe to say this off anon… I’m sorry to bother u. My greatest hits include my autotune does not equal bad/talentless rant and my Wilson (Expensive Mistakes) mini-analysis 🤪 but also I learn SO MUCH from ur blog I love it. Anyway!!! Analysis of this song:
Tw : mania, depression, anxiety, substance use
To me this song is about coming down from a manic episode, maybe not even necessarily transitioning right into depression but like. Just coming down from it and kinda seeing the world as it is again, and feeling that kind of mellowed out, where your body allows itself to feel tired again. The title makes it more obvious - he’s no longer the life of the party - it’s over, everyone’s gone home, but he’s still there trying in vain to carry it on.
“I’m a stitch away from making it and a scar away from falling apart” is my FAVORITE line (hence my URL lol)… but the fact that this song opens with that and the narrator is oscillating between feeling 100% and feeling like they’re going to breakdown like THAT is what these transitions feel like to me (ok also I generally feel like this on a daily basis). But this line also gives you a hint of how well it is going… like he’s a stitch away from getting there - the cut hasn’t completely healed so he’s not getting there any time soon : but a scar away from falling apart - like a scar has already healed so it’s old hurt that is threatening to tear him apart —> “my old aches become new again”.
Then we get “blood cells pixelate” which I personally find hilarious since this song has been likened to the sims 3 soundtrack 💀 (I played the sims but I refused to have the music on so I have no idea cannot confirm or deny). Butttt this is obviously like a nod to everything being on film like even everything down to the blood coursing through his veins is made into an image, poster boys for your scene am I right? Also has to do with the scar/stitch - his breakdown is there for everyone to see, immortalized on magazine covers and interviews and E!News segments. But like only the blood cells, like no one gives a damn if he heals from this, thats not newsworthy. Eyes dilate (drugs and/or sex but maybe drugs Bc of the next line - full moon pills got him out on the street at night) butttt mania often comes with insomnia as we well know so. Maybe the pills are metaphorical idk
THEN the narrator becomes an observer - it’s no longer introspective, he’s watching someone else work the room, he’s cutting all ties to them loose, just sitting back and relaxing and watching and I always had this vision of Pete and/or patrick watching some girl flit around the room while he sat there with a lazy smile and drank a beer and leaned back in his chair. BUT on thinking on this more… I think- bear with me - maybe… just maybe… he’s watching himself outside of himself like some kind of dissociative thing (I personally experience that but it’s due to anxiety but it is common among just the general population so who knows) and it’s like you’re feeling that irritable high from the manic phase still and you’re trying to push through and just be part of this party right (or just part of life in general right, like the party is metaphorical IMO) and you separate form yourself in order to get through - your mind and body are not one. You have to watch yourself from the inside out, rely on muscle memory to get you through the party or your job or the tour or whatever it was in his case.
also tying back to I’m a stitch away - right like some part of you is cut in half and I’m a scar away - again, you were cut somewhere, something was severed, mind and body maybe… big brain hours (but also I’m probably reaching for that one)
Anyway then we have the “put love on hold” bc fuck if he’s ready for a relationship - he’s watching this girl desperate for stardom, maybe it’s the girl he’s watching work the room (if it’s not a dissociative thing, or maybe it’s both tbh). Her nose runs ruby red (cocaine is probably the cause I’m thinking, she’s doing lines at this party to be working the room). Death’s in a double bed (orgasms… nice one Pete) but really it’s a classic tale of a girl desperate for roles that she’s willing to sleep around to get there, she’s singing songs that could only catch the ear of other desperate people like her… but… Pete is writing THIS song and Patrick is singing it and they are just as desperate, right, like he’s helplessly watching someone enjoy a party and he’s verging on miserable (or he’s watching himself try to enjoy the party while he’s actually miserable) and they’re trying to catch our ears… we are the desperate… —> “I’m here to collect your hearts/it’s the only reason that I sing”
Then the bridge is where he starts to actually breakdown, the vocals get more intense and strained and chaotic, the sims 3 soundtrack music swells, and he repeats the beginning, reiterating that but adding on “kiss away young thrills and kills on the mouths of all of my friends” - to me he wants to take away all their joy and pain (kills could also = orgasm if u want to be nasty lol and tie it into the death in a double bed) and he wants to feel it for himself because right now he feels NOTHING like he’s right in the goddamn middle of feeling great and feeling like shit and again, to me that exemplifies the transition between mania and depression and we are back to square 1 (to me also thrills = mania and kills= depression but that’s just probably dumb lol).
Also he’s kissing it all away - it’s gentle, it’s loving, like brushing someone’s tears away, he’s not trying to be forceful about it, but he feels like HE should be experiencing all the highs and lows not his friends… or he doesn’t want his friends to suffer… both probably and the chorus is unhinged this time, patrick gives it his all, loses it, signifying hey wait, the narrator DID lose it… but then the song ends with the music coming off that swell, slowing down, relaxing, the narrator resignedly signing off “I’m a stitch away”… giving us maybe an etch of hope, that maybe his stitches healed after all and he did make it through (with hearts and wrists intact I am so corny sorry)
ANYWAY tldr I love this song and it means so much to me and like when I was 15 and found it the first time I was always like “why does this one hurt me so bad, like I don’t get it” but like. Now that I know what bipolar disorder is and that I suffer from it I understand lol. I don’t know if this is how Pete intended this idk I feel like I got some lines right but to ME this is what it feels like. Also it is v fun to play on the violin :)
#fall out boy#infinity on high#ioh#fob#the afterlife of the party#plz don’t think this is weird ://///: I have thoughts#I recently found out I have bipolar so I am rethinking everything tbh#my depressive phases tend to be wayyyy worse like to the point I completely isolate and push people away#so that watching from the outside feeling is what I feel like a lot#not to mention the dissociative feelings from my anxiety :))) fun times#I tend to just experience hypomania so I am aware I do not feel the full extent of how destructive those feelings can be#I am not trying to glorify mania in anyway believe me#this was very long I expect approximately no one to read this and maybe that’s for the best lmao

Deciding Upon Smart Programs Of What Is Needed To Travel
Right here underneath you can find additional outstanding content regarding Travel And Tourism.
Great Travel Advice To Improve Your Lifestyle
Stepping outside your comfort zone is something that is a prerequisite for a successful travel experience. Although, it's not always easy to prepare ahead of time for the inevitable differences between your ordinary world and the one you will be entering, a few tips will help make the transition both easy and enjoyable.
Shop around for the best deal. Often, a shift in a day or two from your departure or return can amount to a significant savings of several hundred dollars in your transportation cost. Many websites can check this automatically for you. As a general rule, if you can avoid travelling on Fridays or Sundays, you will save a pile of money.
Having an emergency road kit can save your vacation. If you plan on traveling to your vacation destination by car, it is crucial to be prepared in case of emergency. At a minimum road kit should contain first-aid supplies, road flares, water, jumper cables and a flashlight. Having one on hand can make dealing with small problems a snap, and could potentially save your life in a serious accident.
When traveling to a new city, try your best to look as if you belong there: Never let anyone see that you are lost. Checking your map in the middle of the sidewalk is a sure-fire giveaway, as is asking for directions. Remember, new arrivals are good targets for pickpockets and muggers.
When traveling in a strange city by taxi, ask an independent third party such as a front desk clerk or baggage porter what the right rate is for a trip to your destination. Also set up the rate with the driver before you get into the cab. This helps prevent you from getting ripped off.
Try your best to pack all your belongings in as little amount of luggage as possible. You don't want to bring 5 bags of luggage with you on the plane and overwhelm yourself. Try and fold and tuck stuff into areas where you can make more space without harming any of your belongings.
In countries that you travel to, be aware of the cultural view of how questions are answered. In some places, especially India and Asia, it can be considered very rude to tell someone that you don't know the answer to their question. Others may simply answer "yes" to any question asked in English. Pay attention to doubtful body language.
After deciding where you would like to travel, compare the prices offered by many booking engines online for your hotel rooms and flights directly with the companies themselves. Although many booking engines do offer reduced or eliminated transaction fees, you will often get a better deal if you speak directly with the hotels or airlines. While traveling to a foreign country is an exciting experience, it can also be risky if you aren't familiar with its laws and customs. For that purpose, the State Department of the United States created a website (travel.state.gov) that you can visit to find out a wealth of information on the country to which you are traveling, including facts on crime, health conditions and popular attractions.
If you are traveling to Mexico or the Caribbean during hurricane season, it's a wise idea to purchase travel insurance, if it's within your budget. Unfortunately, by the time a hurricane warning is forecast, it's too late to buy coverage, so make sure you get it at the time that you book your vacation. For a price, you can obtain "Cancel for Any Reason"u00efu00bfu00bd insurance that lets you cancel your trip for reasons not already specified in your policy.
If possible travel during off-peak hours. The price of flights changes depending on the hour, the day and the month of travel. You can save a lot of money by booking flights during off peak hours. For example, flights on Thursdays are usually cheaper than those of Fridays. This is because the demand for seats is lower on a Thursday as people who work away from home during the week normally want to fly home on a Friday.
Traveling can be made much harder than necessary if you don't have the knowledge you need. But now that you have read through this article you have the knowledge that you need to make proper travel decisions. Don't make traveling harder and more of a pain than it has to be, you should be relaxing!

Travel sector angry at Grant Shapps' 'misleading' advice against holidays
Transport secretary’s warning not to book holidays in the UK or abroad because of Covid puts jobs at risk and confuses tens of thousands of UK holidaymakers, say industry bosses
Last modified on Wed 10 Feb 2021 17.09 GMT
The much-anticipated great British summer may have been greatly exaggerated, if comments made on Wednesday by transport secretary Grant Shapps are anything to go by.
Just weeks after cabinet colleague Matt Hancock suggested that 2021 would be a bumper year for British holidays, and revealed he’d booked his own in Cornwall, Shapps advised against booking any sort of trip, in the UK or abroad. Speaking on Radio 4’s Today programme, he said: “On the shrinking chance that there is anybody listening to this interview at this stage, and thinking of booking a holiday under the current circumstances … please don’t go ahead and book holidays for something which, at this stage, is illegal to actually go and do, whether it’s here or abroad.”
His comments have angered the travel industry, which is fighting for its survival. The Country Land and Business Association (CLA), which represents 5,000 rural tourism businesses, said many of its members face ruin.
The CLA’s director of external affairs Jonathan Roberts added that 300,000 jobs were at risk. “Government has been telling us we can look forward to a great British summer, but now says we mustn’t book any holidays at all,” he said. “This mixed messaging risks confusing members of the public and damaging rural tourism businesses, which are in dire need of some good news.”

He’s A God, He’s A Man: 12
I’ve got her forever.
masterlist is my url/writing.
It was difficult for Lydia to sneak away from Tommy after the events with the car. Luckily, she had had the help of Polly. Polly was beginning to get nervous for the safety of Ada and her unborn child if she kept down the path of trusting Freddie and not looking out for herself first and foremost. Which is why Polly had slipped Lydia a piece of information. The address of Stanley Chapman.
“I could use this for a bargain perhaps,” Lydia murmured around her teacup of whisky. She thinks that is what Polly was getting at but she wanted to make sure before she went to pass it along.
“I think that is what any woman with a head on her shoulders would do,” Polly hummed in agreement. So it was settled. Polly created a crisis at the betting shop big enough to pull Tommy from his current role of nurse to Lydia, then she quietly slipped away to meet with Campbell.
“Your message said you have an address for me,” Campbell stated without any warmth behind his voice as he watched Lydia appear in the statue hall.
“The address of Stanley Chapman.” Lydia pulled the piece of paper from her purse and handed it to the Inspector. He merely looked at it.
“I asked for Freddie Thorne.”
“This is instead of Freddie Thorne.” Campbell rolled his eyes and walked ahead of her by a few steps.
“No deal.”
“He’s a bigger fish than Freddie. He has cash on him right this moment that is a gift from the Russian Government.” That got his attention. Lydia leaned into. “If he talks, you’ll have proof.”
“Have you dirtied yourself so much in Tommy Shelby’s sheets that you are now risking yourself to protect that nasty family?” Campbell reached for the paper but Lydia quickly pulled it back from his reach.
“You let Ada and Freddie leave the city.”
“Very well.” Lydia let him grab the paper. “You should know, Miss Wilson, that Mr. Churchill is getting quite impatient. If the guns take any longer to materialize, then I fear I may be replaced. And my replacement may not be as amenable to your requests.” She held his stare unwavering.
“And you say this for my sake?” She felt safe in Birmingham now. She knew what Tommy and his family were capable. If she lost the protection of Campbell, Tommy would protect her better than he ever could anyways.
“I would do things that would shame the devil on my last day. Starting by making sure that scum lover of yours has his head stoved in with a shovel or mallet. His sister and her unborn child wouldn’t be spared. I’d spare the littlest one. Shove him into an adult prison where men have an appetite for little boys like him. Don’t make it so my decision comes before yours,” he finished. Lydia tightened her hand around the handle of the pistol in her purse but didn’t pull it out.
“Need I remind you, Mr. Campbell, how far over even Winston Churchill’s head my stepfather can go?” she whispered back menacingly. He merely held her gaze until she got sick of looking at him, Lydia turning around and holding her head high as she left the scene. Polly would handle delivering the news of the deal to Ada and Freddie along with the funds for them to take a train out of Birmingham and far, far away. If she could leverage this horrid deal with Campbell to the benefit of her newfound family, then that is what she was going to do.
----
“Gentleman and my lady,” Tommy said with a nod and smile in the direction of Lydia, “I have in my hand the first legal betting license for the Shelby family.” He offered the crowd one of his most genuine smiles as they erupted into cheers and applause. Lydia giggled against his lips as he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her in for a happy, celebratory kiss.
“You’re a real business, Thomas,” she whispered with a smile. They pulled their faces away but kept their bodies close. “Congratulations.” She hadn’t been there physically every step of the way but she had always been in the back of Tommy’s mind. He was always working to honor her memory in some way. Honor the sacrifice he thought she had made at the hospital in France.
“A man deserving of meeting your mother?” Lydia looked at him quizzically.
“Where did that come from?”
“Turning parts of the business legitimate, it’s not for me. It’s for you. It’s for us. I know this isn’t the world you grew up in. Probably isn’t the world you imagined yourself living in but I want to change that if I can. Make my life a place you feel like you belong. Make my company feel like something you can support and be a part of.” Tommy knew having one piece of his business being honest did not make him an honest man. But it was a step in that direction. He didn’t want his future with Lydia to have to operate underground. She deserved to be able to stand proudly in the light.
“Oh, Tommy, I am sorry if I ever made you feel like you needed to change in order for me to be proud of you or to show you off.” If only she had known he was harboring these feelings about not being adequate enough to meet her family and take a place officially in her life. She would have quelled those fears instantly.
“When I reach the top of the mountain, I want you standing there beside me.”
“There is no place I would rather be.” They sealed their promise with a kiss.
----
“Arthur these cigarettes smell like they’ve gone rotten in transit,” Lydia said as her face scrunched up at the odor. “They have bite marks too like rats have gotten to them.” She carried the box she had opened over to the bar where the newest owner of The Garrison sat looking through papers.
“All the wharves have rats,” he replied simply.
“Can we find a better way to transit our products then? So we can spend money on better quality items?” Arthur didn’t answer her, just continuing to tap against the paper. “Tommy mentioned taking more of the business legal. Starting small, here in The Garrison, seems like a good plan.”
“Tommy also doesn’t want you involved in the operations of the Shelby family that aren’t legal so keep your questions about the cigarettes to yourself.” Lydia rolled her eyes in frustration. Of course Tommy was now spreading his over protective nature to his brothers. He was creating a shield around her that she did not ask for.
“I just want to help where I can. Not feel like dead weight around here.” Ever since she was old enough to, Lydia had been striving for independence. She worked when she didn’t have to. Abandoned the comforts of the posh, upper class life that had been offered to her and forged a path on her own. Tommy Shelby was not going to be an obstacle in her way.
“If you want to help, you can check my adding up.” Arthur turned the papers towards her. “He doesn’t do it because he wants to stifle you but because he wants to protect you. Tommy doesn’t know any other way.” Lydia’s hand paused where she was correcting one of Arthur’s mathematical errors.
“He doesn’t obey the law but he has rules. Tommy is a very precise man who doesn’t do anything by accident.” Lydia turned the paper back to Arthur and grabbed a bottle of whisky from behind the bar and two glasses, one for her and one for Arthur.
“Tommy is the reason for our family’s success. I fight him once in awhile but without him, we wouldn’t all be together.” Lydia thought about the future her and Tommy had planned for themselves back in France. How they would buy a house in the countryside. Plenty of grass and rolling hills for the horses Tommy was going to train. Plenty of room for her to have a flower garden and some vegetables. They’d have little ones running between their legs. Desperate to help weed or ride horses or go exploring with the dogs. She hopes there was still a life out there for her that resembled such a dream.
“He shoulders all of it. I just want to share in that burden with him. Be a true partner.” Both of them drained their glasses in one gulp.
“If he lets you, you’ll be the luckiest person in the world.”
“And why is that?”
“Because Tommy doesn’t let anyone in. He’s tougher to crack than No Man’s Land. You’d have the keys to the kingdom.” She thought about what he said for the moment.
“Do you trust me to protect him?” she asked. So much was made about Tommy protecting her but she was just as protective of him.
“You can hold your whisky so that’s a good sign.” Lydia smiled at him, grateful for at least that. “You know I love you like a sister, Lydia, but Tommy is my blood. I will always have one eye looking out for him.” It was his polite way of saying that he would never fully trust her. That Tommy would always take precedent and he would always be watching to make sure she stayed in line.
“I can respect that,” she said as she refilled their glasses and clinked them together.
“Was my math correct?” Arthur asked as he finally returned his attention to the paper she had given back to him.
“It is now that I’ve redone it,” she giggled. Arthur just shook his head with a smile.
----
After the ups and downs of the past few days, Lydia felt like she needed to center herself. She had been forced to make religion a big part of her life when she was younger, her belief fading a bit as she spent time on the battlefield in France. But something inside of her was telling her to light a candle and say a prayer. That remembering the lighter parts of her past and reconnecting with her spirituality would do her good in this new and confusing world she found herself living in. She found her mother’s prayer veil tucked in a drawer of her flat and made her way to the church down the street. At first Lydia had been nervous she would now know what to say. That it had been so long she had forgotten how to do it. But the thoughts wouldn’t stop coming once she let the first one out. She started by praying that her mother was okay. That she would forgive Lydia for leaving for England. She prayed for Thomas. That he would be protected as he embarked on his war against Kimber. She didn’t pray for victory, only his well being once it was all said and done. Finally, she prayed for herself. That she would be able to entangle herself from the web of Campbell. That there was a happy future for her no matter who was in it. That would day she would feel fulfilled.
“Arthur said you’ve been asking questions.” The serenity of the church was interrupted as Tommy came strolling in.
“I was just trying to help,” she replied with a defeated sigh. “You’re wasting money on product that is being destroyed before you have the chance to sell it.” Tommy scoffed.
“And what do you know about running a business?”
“Nothing. I’m just a barmaid.” She stood and turned to face him. His breath caught in his throat at the sight of her in her veil. The lace was dainty as it draped across her face, the shadows and light of the candles flickering across her cheeks. She looked like the angel he already knew she was. He had dreamt about her in the veil of a bride before. This felt like the forbidden fruit being dangled in front of him.
“I’ve actually been meaning to talk to you about the future of your employment at The Garrison. I’m firing you.”
“Thomas-” He held up a hand to stop her.
“This came in the mail for you today.” In the top corner was the Bellevue Hospital School of Nursing. Her name was on the front. She had a feeling what it was before she opened it, tears pricking at the corner of her eyes.
“What did you do?” she warbled as she finally slid the paper from the envelope. She read just enough to see that she had been accepted into their nursing program.
“I sent in your application. Paid your first year up front. You don’t belong here as a barmaid in a rundown pub. You belong somewhere you can save lives. Do what it is you’ve always wanted. I won’t let myself be the reason you hold yourself back.” He had been thinking about this ever since the incident at Kimber’s house. Lydia was so much more than that. Deserved so much more than him and this life. He’d force her out if he had to.
“Tommy I don’t know how I ended up finding you in France, how I ended up finding you again here, but I know I am meant to be with you. This school is all the way in New York-”
“I know. I’ve booked your passage on a ship.” She shook her head.
“I can’t go. Not knowing what I’m leaving behind.” Lydia stepped closer to him, Tommy reaching up to wipe the tears from under her eyes.
“You have to. You have to get out of here. Away from me and my business. It’s safer that way. You’ll be happier.”
“I can’t accept this. Not unless you come with me.” She thinks that would be a fair compromise. Tommy would get his wish of her pursuing nursing school, getting out of Birmingham and she would get her wish of Tommy by her side forever. “You can meet my family like we’ve been talking about. See Lady Liberty, the Empire State Building. We can travel to Boston and see all the sights of America.”
“You would want me to go with you? I can’t leave the business.”
“It’ll only be for two years. Until I graduate. You can make the trip back a few times during then. Trust Polly and John and Arthur to keep everything in line. You could use a breath of fresh air. We can be happy and safe in New York. Together.” He looked at her wide eyes that were full of love and hope.
“Heads, I go. Tails, I stay.”
“You’re trusting this decision to a coin?”
“It’s what I’ve done my whole life. I won’t change now.” He released her waist and pulled a coin from his pocket. “Whichever it is, I love you.” Lydia frantically pulled him in for a kiss, trying not to think about how the coin his end would decided if this was their last kiss or not. She held her breath as he flicked it into the air.

Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars
These Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars are creamy cheesecake loaded with Oreos and swirled with buttery caramel baked on a crushed cookie crust! Easy to make, these cheesecake bars are perfect for any occasion!
And if you love cheesecake, make sure to check out my recipe and tips on how to make the Perfect Cheesecake!
Oreo Cheesecake Bars Are Easy and Delicious!
Oh friends, today’s recipe is a blast from the past! I made these bars and published the recipe WAY back in 2010. They are a classic Cookies and Cups favorite recipe for a lot of my OG readers…for good reason. These Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars are OUT.OF.CONTROL. I thought the pictures needed a little sprucing up to re-share the recipe with all you newbies!
The idea came from my husbands love of the Golden Oreo, and I knew it would pair well with cheesecake. And to take it a step even further I added in a caramel swirl, oh yes I did.
Are You Team Golden Oreo or Classic Oreo?
My husband is a big Golden Oreo guy, claiming they are far superior to the classic. What are your thoughts? We’re fairly divided in my house…but the one thing we all agree on is they HAVE to be “Double Stuf”, regardless of the flavor when eating alone. For the sake of this recipe, though no need to use Double Stuf…regular Stuf works perfectly!
Can You Make These Cheesecake Bars With Classic Chocolate Oreos?
Absolutely! I do add a swirl of caramel into this recipe that you can leave out if you don’t like the idea of caramel and a chocolate Oreo…OR…replace it with hot fudge sauce. I mean RIGHT??
You could get even MORE creative and use one of the 4 million new flavors Oreo is always coming out with in these bars…They would ALL work! Here are a few examples:
Birthday Cake Oreos…add sprinkles to make them even more festive!
Mint Chocolate Oreos…what a cool and creamy combo!
Carrot Cake Oreos…the caramel would work perfectly and you could even throw in some pecans.
Red Velvet Oreos…these would be so pretty!
What Ingredients Do You Need?
Cream Cheese
Oreo Cookies
Marshmallow Fluff or Marshmallow Creme
Caramels – the soft kind you unwrap like Kraft or Werther’s (which are my favorite!)
1 egg
milk
butter
Do These Cheesecake Bars Need To Be Refrigerated?
Yes they do! Not only do you need to store these airtight in the fridge, but you will need to chill the bars for AT LEAST 4 hours after they are baked and cooled, so they will set up perfectly.
If you’ve ever made cheesecake before you know the waiting is the hardest part…but it can also be a great dessert option for guests because you can make this the night before!
Scared To Make Cheesecake?
If you’ve never made cheesecake before, these bars are a great place to start! You don’t have to worry about a water bath, or cracking. Bars are WAY more forgiving than a whole cheesecake, as they aren’t as thick, and you will be adding in crushed cookies and caramel so you won’t notice any cracking!
The addition of marshmallow fluff into the recipe aids in the texture being more sturdy than classic cheesecake as well. You want it to hold up to the caramel and the chopped cookies and the fluff adds structure.

Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars
Description:
These Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars are so incredibly delicious, creamy and sweet with a swirl of caramel!
Ingredients:
28 Golden Oreo Cookies, divided 18 and 10
3 tablespoons melted butter
5.5 ounces soft caramels, unwrapped
1 tablespoon milk
2 (8-ounce packages) cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup Marshmallow Fluff
1 large egg
Instructions:
Preheat to 350°F. Set aside a 9×9 baking pan.
Crush 18 Golden Oreos (cream and all) in a ziplock bag, or food processor until they are a fine crumb.
In a medium bowl mix together the cookie crumbs and melted butter.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden. Let this cool for 10-15 minutes.
While the crust is cooling place the caramels into a microwave-safe bowl with the milk. Set aside.
Coarsely chop the remaining 10 Oreos. Set these aside as well.
In the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment beat the cream cheese and Marshmallow Fluff on medium speed until combined and smooth, scraping down the sides half way through.
Add in the egg and mix for 30 seconds until incorporated.
Stir in your chopped Oreos.
Pour the cheesecake mixture onto the prepared crust. Set asid
Place the caramels in the microwave and heat on high power in 30 second increments, stirring after each, until caramels are melted and smooth.
Drop the caramel by spoonfuls onto the cheesecake and using a knife, swirl the caramel into the batter.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until center is set.
Cool for 20 minutes on wire rack and then cover and transfer to refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Cut into squares when completely cooled.
Notes:
Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Freeze airtight for up to 30 days.
