(This is about robot fixations) I legit have so many, so I’m making this a post because why not (plus counting this as an ask because this was a question, right???)

The first robot “fixation” of my childhood was probably either the Oscarbots from Odd Squad or Bot from Team OomiZoomies. I don’t know which one was first, but I blame everything that I go into on them (especially Bot since he’s a single dad-esk robot smh) (Someone for the orange thing from BrainPop here).

The first actual fandom I was in was in was DDLC and it has to do more with AIs than actual robots but I’ll count it.

Sigh this is where I insert my K1B0 phase. Me and my irl friend were really in it (they were a Kokichi fan btw. We still vibed a lot tho). I think I have about 9 fully “rendered” (these were from 4 years ago so they were kinda bad and low quality) fan art of him, with countless doodles in my homework and notes. Those were the days.

This really shouldn’t count as one but the FNF mod Hex was something I really really liked and made too much fan art if for a TV screen that played basketball

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

um... I'm an angst writer primarily so this is a rough one.

So there is the classic 'everyone dies trope' that I've done in both Why are we always stuck and running (from The bullets, the bullet?) and I’ve dug two graves for us my dear. Both are angsty but the Loscar one is significantly less angsty in how Logan gets what is his definition of a happy ending where in the landoscar mafia one that was them going out together because they couldn't be apart which to me, after all they'd been through, felt harsher.

do Androids Have Dicks I also deem as angsty because it's not a happy ending. It's open for interpretation for what happens after Oscar is free to do as he pleases within the android laws... but at the same time he isn't considered a person anymore. He's left stuck between being treated like the Android he is and wanting to be more. At the same time though he's not got any obligations and can learn to live. Take that how you will...

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

Depends on what it is... Like I did the DBH au but i'm not sure if that is considered a crossover?

I'd be willing to think about it if i liked the idea enough but it's just not something I really vibe on most occasions.

yes.

It's probably well out there by now that I stopped writing reader inserts for the most part because I it was a daily thing. I was waking up to people in my inbox and dm's saying I was disgusting. A lot of it also was geared towards how I shouldn't write about trauma I don't know about. Which... it sucks when you spend a good chunk of your life begging for people to believe you and not victim blame. I write because it's how I cope and it hurt that people were assuming I didn't know what I was talking about.

I still get anxious writing stuff that is out there but I have a good support system now who has been really encouraging!

Yep! One of my reader inserts ended up on wattpad but it got taken down.

It was an idea at with a friend at one point to turn fics into audio books. As someone who does use screen readers sometimes, it's rough for fics because it sounds all robotic. There is ZERO emotion. Not sure that counts as a translation but it was a fleeting thought at one point.

Not technically but my beta reader loves me and I give her credit for many of the ideas :))

But also world building for me is a lot of fun! It's the details that maybe are miniscule to the reader but mean a lot to me when setting up how things work and the rules of the universe.

Endings... I can never find a good stopping point and will just keep going which is why sometimes my fics just trail off into the void of weird dialouge.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

depending on how it's done I think it's fine. I am a sucker for pet names in the native tongue and characters who gradually pick up on the languageafter being around someone for so long.

Logan/Alex/George because I have no idea but the thought of them endears me.

At the moment it's Do Androids Have Dicks because I had so much fun writing it! I sometimes get lost in all the little things of fics but this one was just me and my angst having a blast!

I will say the The Heartstring Theory, which is the WIP that i've been working on the most and promoting, is my favorite thing of all time. It's one that I'm excited to share but am waiting until I get it all written to share it.

DBH part 69

Next day

Na, Se, Ll & C were at the water park for some activities for Se to try out. That place didn't just have waterslides for the guests to have fun with. But also included some watersports for beginners & advanced sportsmen

C had not only to dive them there but kids under 12 were not allowed to use the premise without an adult. C, the supportive bro he is, encouraged his sibling to do his best. All was supposed to analyze his progress and Na was there bc it was her idea in the first place.

First thing on the agenda: kayaking

At the beginning Se seemed to have fun but as the waves got bigger, making his boat shake out of control, he got into a paniced stated. The kayak teacher advised the group to try other activities that might not make him scared.

C understood his warning and left with the kids to go somewhere else. Ll suggested to try kneeboarding. The younger kids had no clue what that was but C though it would be a good idea. If Se could hold it out to be close to a board he could later on try standing on one once he got more confidence.

Kneeboarding was a good start but it was very clear that he didnt have much fun with it. He always complained that his legs fell asleep & that the kids kept on 'Sword fighting' with their paddles. After the lesson, Se asked to take a break.

The teen brought everyone to a drinking stand to hydrate themselves. While Na & Ll talked with eachother over something unrelated, c asked his brother if he wanted to go home.

To his surprise the boy shook his head: „Na Promised me to help me to get stronger. If i can get stronger then i could be more like big bro.“

C was surpised but also happy to hear that his brother looks up to him like that.

After they fueled up, they went back sport hunting. Not a lot had changed though when it came to the rest. Some sports he was good at but was not feeling it or was just not cut for the sport according to the employees. The second to last activity, fishing, was for everyone just baffeling. Who would gave though they would use real life fish to this. C expected them to use robot fish as their target but Na felt bad for the little guys bc they really didn't seem all that well. Se felt the same way. He last sport was their only chance, so he hoped it would work out this time.

They went to the snorkeling booth and to their luck she had time for one more lesson. Discouraged by the previous attempts, se was not sure if it was worth trying anymore. But Ll gave him her best pep talk until her Lil brothers finally gave in.

And wouldnt you know it. Se was actually haven a great time diving underwater like that. The female teacher gave him some tasks, like pulling up something from the floor to bring it back up. Or do an underwater treasure hunt. C was happy seeing the kid finally have found something he likes, and the girls were just as relieved.

The lady congratulated the boy on his first try, and hoped to see him again to train with her. C agreed and made an appointment for their next training session.

It has gotten very late so they had to get home b4 dark. Otherwise E would give them another scolding.

On the way home Se asked Ll to look up on the internet things about snorkeling & things related to it. Na was pretty tired from all the walking around so she fell asleep a few minutes into the drive.

So I think I’m onto something.

Every time I think about the Institute and what the Commonwealth is supposed to be, it feels really dissonant to me that the gen 3 synths are just people with brain chips. Everything else the institute does is textbook robot shit (like all of Kellogg’s cybernetics), so the cloning stuff kinda feels like it’s coming out of left field.

And that’s because it is.

Back in fallout 3, you can get a quest in rivet city from this guy who is actually from the commonwealth. He tasks you with finding his “very special android” which he later clarifies is an advanced synth. You later can get approached by a railroad agent who tells you that they wiped the synths memories (confirmed by the synths own logs). If you choose the help the railroad, the agent gives you some mechanical part that if the guy sees it, he’ll know his synth is dead.

Now, if this synth was actually just a person with a chip, why would he bother saying that it’s a special class of android. Most people talking about gen 3 synths in 4 don’t refer to them as machines, just gen 3 synths. Nick refers to himself as mechanical, because notably he is. Not so with his gen 3 brethren.

The reason why I’m not rolling over and assuming that the mechanical part you get in 3 is the brain chip and it was all planned from the start is because there’s some background information that is crucial to my revelation. Fallout 3 was released in 2008. Fallout 4 was released in 2015. A solid seven year gap (account for new Vegas and that gap is now five years, but nv was made by a different studio). According to dev notes and concept art, the commonwealth was originally going to be a much bigger technocracy, actively being ruled by the Institute. But then the game came out and that’s not what we got. So what caused this change?

I couldn’t tell you for certain, but let’s follow a through line. A while back, I found a post or a comment on here asking why the railroad’s plan was to wipe the memories of androids and make them think they’re people when they’ll never age or die and have machine parts. Which I saw that and I agreed. I even thought it was strange in the fallout 3 quest. Like the guilt he feels about his programmed role of slave catcher is an understandable thing to erase (since he too was a slave), but making the android think he’s human is a bizarre thing to do. It would have pretty noticeable consequences pretty early on. Think like a DBH android that’s had its memories wiped and now believes it’s human. Like, that would be a new kind of traumatic and that’s only scratching the surface.

My guess is that the team realized that (or were told that) this didn’t make a lot of sense, so they retconned it. Badly. Because, instead of saying something like “yeah that’s a fringe branch of the railroad and we’re trying to get it under control, but we don’t do that here” or “they aren’t affiliated with us and we’re trying to get them to stop because of all the problems they’re causing” or fuck the timeline and say “that was old protocol and it’s amazing no one saw the glaring flaws sooner.” But instead, they made the synths test tube babies and created a whole new problem: why is this dollar store dark mech faction (affectionate) doing stuff with cloning instead of making more robots? But they never answered that. Not in a way that makes sense or matters.

Everyday I mourn the lost technocracy.

Of course, this is an open discussion and would like to get some other perspectives on this (I haven’t finished the main quest of 4 yet) (and I probably never will so spoil away) (most of its already been spoiled for me.)

fandom racism is so much harder to swallow when you're interacting with media that goes out of its way to feature characters of colour and they still get sidelined and erased

like when something revolves around predominantly white characters, you can almost like reassure yourself that the only reason the fandom is racist is because the source material doesn't give them much to work with

but when you're in a fandom that DOES have characters of colour and white people just blatantly erase them it fucking sucks so bad lol like nothing matters no matter how much progress is made, at the end of the day people see you as forgettable if you're not white

like ok sorry again to be talking about dbh on main in 2021 but like there's something incredibly depressing about the fandom of a game that is explicitly (to the point where it's often hamfisted and kind of cringey) about rising up against oppression, and that heavily features characters of colour, including 1/3 main characters, deciding their top three pairings are all white m/m pairings, including the second most popular pairing literally being a character that a) has no canonical personality or dialogue b) appears for 30 seconds at the end of like... one variation of a playthrough, and pairing him up with a cop that is also pretty insignificant in the broader game universe and who explicitly hates his kind. like yes we're going to put energy into developing this but completely ignore one of the actual lead characters who has infinite shipping potential and really interesting dynamics to explore with the characters around him but oh whoops! he happens to be black </3 but if anyone calls us out we're just gonna say his characterization isn't nuanced enough, like white robot with no personality or dialogue is somehow developed character.

and then like if we're gonna be #fandomprogressive and include a f/f ship, we're ALSO going to sideline another pretty important black character by erasing his existence so we can hook up the white character he bonds with over the course of the story with a different character who she's never met before, because again what the fuck is intersectionality, we have white lesbians so we've hit peak woke, even though if you really want a f/f ship, there are lots of other options that don't involve literally erasing a black character from his very important place in the narrative

anyway being a woc in fandom is a fucking nightmare <3

Summary: Now that you and Connor have been doing ‘The Devil’s Tango’ for a few months now, you’ve noticed something recently that seems too insane to be true. It’s time for you to see if it’s actually possible. 

A/N: I had to write another part of BATB for my first fanfic back after being away for so long. You guys really love this series and it’s one of my favourites too. Every since finishing part 3.5, I always wanted to add more as there’s definitely more ideas to be told with Connor and his innocense. I feel like this might be the last one, but who knows, I might write more in the future...

What. The. Fuck! 

This is actually happening. The stick in your hands confirms it- you’re pregnant. For the past two months, you’d noticed that you’d missed a few periods, nearly every morning waking up with a trip to the bathroom to throw up and your tiredness had been getting worse everyday too. You’d had initial ideas that it might just be stress or your irregular cycle making you feel ill, but eventually you had to come to the absolutely insane idea that you may actually be pregnant with Connor’s baby. 

You’d tried to put off taking a test because your mind refused to believe this could be happening. Not that you don’t want a kid, you’d love to have little versions of Connor and yourself running around. But you want kids much further in the future. And also, there’s the teeny tiny odd question of how the hell this has happened! You’re human. Connor is an android. For this exact reason, the two of you haven’t been bothering with protection with all the sex you’ve been having, as you’re both clean and your boyfriend is infertile- or so you thought. 

You don’t even know how he’s going to react to this. Will he be happy or sad? And how is everyone else going to react? Yourself and Connor have only been dating for over a year, so it’s much too soon to be having children. You take in a deep breath, sighing as you move your hands down to your stomach.

“I don’t know how you got in there little Floobie, but here you are. God, I hope your Daddy is gonna be okay with this”.

You walk into the living room to see Connor seated on the couch trying to complete one of his puzzles, the stick containing the proof of your future feeling like a burning weight in your sweaty palm as you approach him. 

“Connor? I- I uh- I have something I need to show you” You announce, breaking him from his deep concentration as he stares at the pieces in his hand.

“Y/N? Is everything alright? You look really pale and I can detect your temperature rising rapidly”.

You let out a short laugh, walking forward to rest your free hand on his arm as you take a seat beside him. “I’m fine Connor, I’m just a little nervous. I’ve just found out some big news”. He opens his mouth to question you, but your worried look has him stopping short. Instead of telling him, you decide to instead place the test in his hand so he can see it for himself.

As you move to do so, a million thoughts race through Connor’s mind. Are you sick? Are you leaving him? Are you finally gonna get a dog and you’re putting a collar in his hand? With trepidation, he opens his palm as your closed hand begins to open, his eyes flickering quickly as he tries to figure out what you’re about to give him. When the light weight of the stick falls into his hand, his eyebrows scrunch together in confusion and he tilts his head slightly to the side. You hold your breath as he brings the test closer to his face, his face tilting (nearly touching his shoulder now) as he inspects it. 

You wait for a reaction, a smile or a frown, anything. But he just continues to look at it. You begin to fear the worse when he finally looks up at you and-

“It’s not working”.

You copy his earlier movement as your own head now turns in confusion, looking at Connor's oddly very calm face. 

“What-what do you mean? I just used it. I just used three of them actually to make sure it was right”.

“So you are ill then? Y/N, darling, you should have just come to me, you didn’t need to waste your money buying these things. I am quite advanced with this sort of health observation, thanks to Cyberlife, but you already know that. Which is why I don’t understand why you’d-”.

“Wait, hold on Connor, what do you think this actually is” You ask, incredulously.

 “Um… A thermometer. As I said darling, it’s quite easy for me to simply look at you and take an accurate reading of your temperature, in fact I’ve noticed recently-”.

“Connor I’m pregnant”. 

He stops for just a moment. Then…

“Oh yes, I already know. Like I was saying, I’ve noticed recently that your bodily readings have been different than usual these past few months and on more than one occasion, I have detected that you’ve been sick in the mornings and hid it from me. I was getting so worried that I just decided to do a full body scan while you were sleeping one night and that’s when I realised there was new life growing inside you”.

“Connor… I-I… You... You knew I was pregnant?! W- why didn’t you tell me?”.

“I thought you already knew? Because of your periods? When a woman discontinues having a monthly release of blood, is it clear to see that she’s pregnant with new life. That and you haven’t been buying any new sanitary products or telling me to go out on calorie hauls everytime you go through that specific time”.

You breathe a deep sigh, of both relief and shock. In fairness, you probably should have realised Connor would have been able to sense you were pregnant- he is the most advanced detective android there is. You guess that your disbelieving of the possibility of this happening also overlooked the fact that your boyfriend is a robot genius.

“If you already thought I was pregnant, did you not question why I hadn’t told you?”

He looks away sheepishly, lifting his hand to scratch the back of his neck. “I thought this was something that women just deal with on their own, the male doesn’t really do much in most cases of animals. The female is the one who cares for the baby with her body, the male is just there to protect and keep them both safe. So I thought it was just a way for you to keep ‘the bun in the oven’ to make sure you’re looking after it okay”. 

You blink. You blink again. Then you let out a small laugh and bury your face in your hands shaking your head. That has to be the weirdest thing to come out of your boyfriend's mouth, even after everything he’s said these past few months. When you look back up at Connor again, you see him looking at you, head titled again and you let out another laugh, leaning up to give him a quick kiss. 

“Oh Connor… We’re not animals, even though we do act like them sometimes, especially rabbits,” You let out another small laugh, while Connor smiles nodding in agreement “, Couples bring their babies into the world together, supporting each other. Granted the woman does do pretty much all of the work, but the man doesn’t just ‘protect’ and keep them safe, though it is appreciated. They help keep the mother healthy, comfortable, relaxed, loved- like you will right? You do want this baby don’t you Connor?”

“Of course, this is what I’ve wanted since we first made love”.

“Wait… what?”.

“Well, ever since you told me that sex is primarliy to create new life, I have been questioning Cyberlife about installing a new function within me to make me fertile. Though I have been quite enjoying our love making, I still haven’t been able to get the thought out of my head that we haven’t been doing it properly. So thankfully, Cyberlife agreed, on the grounds that it will be a good step in the right direction of progressing human-android relations”.

“So when did you become fertile?”.

“About half a year ago, maybe more”.

“Jesus, Connor, we’ve been having so much sex, it’ll be a wonder if I’m not pregant with twins”.

“I know, I’m surprised it took that long for you to become pregnant. And, statistically speaking, twins are only 3-4 out of every 1000 births, and there are many contributing factors. Sex can contribute to some extent, but it in our case it seems to have helped massively. Just last night, I did a scan again and saw that there are in fact two life forms inside you- how did you know darling?”

“Only 3-4 out of every 1000 births, eh? Well, that’s- WAIT WHAT?!?”

“What the fuck?! Twins” Hank utters as he places his half eaten burger down on his arm rest. 

To be honest, it probably wasn’t the best idea for you and Connor to tell him that you're having two children at this specific moment in time, eating the food that you had brought him for dinner to help ease this situation. The smarter thing to do would have been to tell him before, then give him the burger and drink from his favourite takeaway to calm him down. But as you sit there next to Connor with guilty smiles on your faces as you look at a horrified Hank who looks like he’s gonna be sick, you definitely know you should have told him sooner. 

“Wait, wait, wait, how is this even possible?! You’re an android and Y/N’s human, how does that work?”

You begrudgingly reply “It’s a long story”.

Connor however has no shame and immediately launches into re-telling the story of how you two began having sex. You have no power to stop him as you know this story is getting told no matter what because he is Connor afterall, so you simply sit back and stare down at your wine glass in embarrassment, feeling like you’ve been caught with your hand in the cookie jar. 

Every once in a while, you’ll look up and see Hank growing progressively more green as your boyfriend retells how he first asked about sex and then anal, and then your many different sexual escapades including the one where he was in a meeting with Amanada, and then finally how you got pregant. Connor, still as innocent as ever, goes into great, unneeded detail not realising that this isn’t something he should really be telling his dad. Even Sumo looks sick, paws nearly over his ears as he lays at your feet. 

Finally after some time to reflect on what has just been said to him, Hank, looking equivalent to a cucumber in colour and looking faint, mumbles “So you two rabbits have been doing it everywhere huh?”.

As Connor happily nods in response, you sit in shame, taking a much needed gulp of wine, then another as Hank takes a big sip of his own drink.

 “We even did it on your desk.

Wine. Soda. Everywhere. Again.

*Sigh*

If it's before it then he'll probably be following it all on the news. But if it's during then he wouldn't know about it until after. Both could be interesting depending on which one is used.

If he's at Tommy's house when it's going on, he's probably hyper focused on what's going on and what the reactions of the humans are. And how the police/government are responding. Because that would be something he'd feel really strongly about as a Deviant-in-Hiding. He'd be anxious to know if he could legally be seen as a person, or if he had to continue his charade of being Tommy's housekeeper/pet sitter.

However, it happening at the same time as the Resonance Cascade could be super interesting/surprising too. Since he wouldn't know it had happened until he got out, and would have been blindsided by it all. He'd need to adjust to being freethinking for the first time in his life and actually being able to act on those thoughts and feelings without (major) repercussions.

It's like, do we give him the chance to adjust first? Let he learn how to deal with emotions and trauma first? Or do we have him speed-run his freedoms and emotions now that he isn't just another robot?

That would end up as a bit of a mix between the 2 options then, Gordon coming out of Black Mesa and being offered a place to stay with Tommy as the final clean-up from the Alien invasion is finished.

And then the news of the Android Freedom/Civil Rights movement appearing in Detroit and that tons of other androids had gone deviant under the stresses and couldn't just... Go back to the lives they'd had before.

Too much had happened to just sweep the fallout under the rug.

Plus, you know, there's possibility that Black Mesa's involvement got leaked so there's the fallout from that too, along with a good portion of them trying to cover up/refuse a thorough investigation into why it happened. Because shit like that can't happen without someone having to take responsibility.

Especially if it got out that they had used a Daycare Android in their Highly Dangerous alien testing. And that's not even getting into the trouble they'd find themselves in if the rest of their unethical science was discovered.

They might be able to partially cover/fix that by letting Tommy take Gordon as a Housekeeper, since they could then say that they'd "Gotten Rid" of the Android involved in the test. (Same idea as firing/relocating/dismissing a Scientist who'd screwed something up)

They'd probably try to avoid names too, just to further cover their asses.

the gay (mango): Not to mention the fact that the majority of the staff died from both aliens and government asses

Pretty easy to cover up because of that tbh.

With most of the staff dead, it's pretty easy to just go "Unfortunately, most of the scientists and androids in charge of the tests that day were killed in the ensuing chaos from both the invasion and the military's attempts to fight back."

"Sadly, we may not be able to reopen or continue our work due to the losses suffered."

RoseBloodCat: Yeah, so long as they don't mention his name or android number, Gordon could get away (mostly) scott free.

But it's more from a professional stand point than a "I don't like Androids" one. Gordon doesn't have a degree in any field of research after all.

RoseBloodCat: But it probably came off as that at first. When the test went kooky and he started out blaming Gordon for it. He was complaining about Gordon not doing it right and messing up the test, but he meant that it was because he wasn't educated for these things and not because he was an Android. But Gordon probably takes it to mean that. (That can be used for a comfort attempt from Bubby later, possible when someone points out that it sounded like Bubby hated androids or something.)

How long have you been in the fandom?

I played the game for the first time in December of 2018. I started this blog and my main fanfic series January 2019. I have been DBH crazy ever since and haven't looked back.

How did you find out about DBH?

I had seen a few pieces of fanart floating around, but it didn't stay in my brain. I didn't understand what it was. Then, a preview showed up on my Youtube feed. It was the scene of Kara and Alice escaping from Todd's house. I was already a big robot nerd and I knew I had to play it. I didn't even own a PS4. I bought the game on Black Friday without having purchased the consul yet.

Have you played the game, or only watched a play-through?

I went out and bought me a PS4 with the soul purpose of playing this game.

What is it about DBH that brought you into the fandom?

I came for the androids. I stayed for the characters. And I am absolutely fascinated with human/android relationship dynamics. I want to explore that all day long. Also being homicide detectives investigating android/human murders. I would love to see more of that in a sequel.

Favorite chapter, part, or scene of the game.

Oh man, this is hard. So many. I love all the parts in the Zen Garden. I just love that setting. I like the scene where Hank and Connor are out by the park discussing life and androids and Hank pulls out the gun. It's a great scene, no matter how it ends. I like the Jericrew singing their “Hold on just a little while longer” I never get tired of watching that. Playing the chapter in Zlatko's house is crazy fun and so eerie.

Favorite of the main 3.

Of course Connor, but I also have love for Markus and Kara.

Favorite character(s) not part of the main 3.

There are a lot of characters to love. Amanda is fascinating. Simon's clear baggage but lack of a backstory is intriguing. Lucy has such a cool character design and is very interesting. RK900, cuz you all know why we need that in our lives.

If you were in the DBH world, would you be human or android?

I would be a human quietly thirsting over an oblivious android. And then I would probably die alone because I would be too chicken to say anything. LOL

Favorite ships?

(I am open to a lot of pairing possibilities that no one writes about.) Markus/North, Markus/North/Simon, North/Simon (These babies are just my OT3). I like GOOD Connor x human OC stories. More than I like reader fics. I like seeing a full character interact with him and Connor learning how to be in a relationship and fall in love. (I kinda get a little uncomfortable when reader fics address me directly. Leave me out of it please. I just want to watch lol)

I would also love to find some good Markus x human OC fics. Please send any my way if you find some really GOOD ones.

Least favorite/most disliked ships?

I'm not a fan of any of the RK's hooking up with each other. (Unless there's an OC in the middle, then I might change my tune.) Markus/Connor, Connor/RK900, Connor/Sixty fics all make me uncomfortable. Though I don't think any less of those who do like those pairings. (Markus/Connor is always all over my dash. I live with it.)

“The Uncanny Valley” by AlleycatAngst.

It is a Gavin-centric fic. Not necessarily the main character I was looking for. But it is also a detective story. Its well written with twists and turns, and the author seems to have an understand of how being an officer and detective actually work. I love me a good homicide detective story with androids. I wish there were more fics like this out there.

You worked at the police department. Working a full shift was tiring but you made it work. Your job as a police officer was normal until more and more androids were used in the department. To you it was a thought of why not? You personally did not mind androids helping police, that just means you get less work, but some were against it. 

You then decided, with the money you saved up that you would go and buy an android. You’ve seen some be used for nannies, caretakers, just workers every where. Unfortunately, since the company of the department you worked for didn’t want the model of the new android, you would have to get it with your own cash. To you it seemed right, you created the idea that this thing would work and you would get some days off. 

Arriving at the place you noticed many of different models of androids. 

“Hello ma’am, what can I get for you today?” The store lady gave a fake smile and you couldn’t tell if she was an android or a real human. 

“Yeah, um, hi, I’m looking for a specific android that was made for my department-”

“Oh I’ll get you the exotic dancer android right now.”

“No, no, no,” you shook your head and hands. “I work at the police department. I’m here to buy and pick up the one that was made for us. Its sent from cyberlife?”

The lady nodded and typed some things in the computer. You handed her your hard working money and waited for the android. He walked out, so smoothly. He was a very handsome android. You hit yourself in the head for thinking that. The android walked up to you and with a serious face said, “hello my name is Connor. I’m the android sent by Cyberlife.” His face was so stoic, so empty.

You smiled and waved at him, “hello there Connor, my name is y/n. I’m the human that came out of my mother’s vagina. Now lets get to know each other.”

As you said that word Connor’s eyes flew open slowly until he had a shocked expression. It made you laugh to know that an android can think that way and have that expression. All he said was wow as he muttered next to you. 

“So y/n, what is your status at the police department?” Connor asked as he walked by you as you walked out of the store. 

“Oh me? I’m just a uniformed office, just a regular police gal. I already have the info that you are going to be partnered up with my friend Hank Anderson, he’s a detective. So you’ll have fun with that one.” You placed a hand on Connor’s back. Connor peered around and saw your hand. “Do you enjoy your job y/n?”

You went to a cart nearby and paid for a drink since it was hot outside, “oh well you know, its work. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for this job its just, sometimes work can be really stressful and time consuming. I just wish I had more freedom and not so much job.”

“Would you like me to discuss your situation with the head of the police department?” Connor asked so innocently. His brown, doe, plastic orbs staring right into your e/c ones.

You almost chocked on your drink, “no please don’t, I might get fired if you do. I don’t know when the day will come when I do speak out or I do something about it, huh maybe I never will.”

“If would be informative to the head of the police department if you were to say something. Also, I understand that there is a case you all are currently working on.”

You took a sip of your drink and paused, “yeah we do but how do you know about that?”

Connor tilts his head to one side, “all the information and data about past cases and present cases are stored within me. I now know much of what you all have worked on.”

“Wow, thats pretty cool actually.” It was weird, you were actually really enjoying talking to Connor. He was a robot, he was not real, he did not feel anything. Maybe thats why you liked talking to him so much, he didn’t put personal feelings or opinions in the conversation, no he just listened to you. You were starting to like Connor’s company more and more. 

Suddenly, Connor did a trick with a coin. 

“Okay, alright then.” You backed away, pretty impressed, “where did you learn that? Or was that in your data too?”

“Would you like to try?” Connor says giving you the coin.

“Oh I don’t know, I don’t think I’ll be good at it.” You tried to resist, feeling bashful. 

“You will never know until you try, go ahead and give it a go.” As Connor passed the coin to you your hands touched. His skin felt almost like human skin, but it felt more plastic and more artificial, a little rubbery as well. 

“Alright then,” you took the coin and Connor went right beside you. His body close to yours but it was odd. There was no body heat like normal, no body smell nothing just Connor. His lips were right by your ear. “You have to pay close attention to this.” (omg this so reminds me of when bryan taught jacksepticeye how to do it) “You have to try to get it between your fingers, so let me toss it to you.”

“Can I look down?”

“No.”

“Connor!”

Connor sighed, “fine you may, but just the first time.”

As Connor stood close to you he flicked to coin in your direction. You tried closing your fingers as fast as you could but the coin only hit a piece of your finger and fell to the floor. 

“NAILED IT!” You joked as you danced at your failing victory. 

For a minute you thought you saw Connor smile at your silliness. As you proceeded to walk you spotted a dog with his owner walking by. 

“Awww look how cute he is,” you bent down and pet the dogs back. The dog barking and wagging his tail. 

“I like dogs,” Connor says as he too bends down. 

“Really? You too? I didn’t know you liked dogs, aren’t they the best?”

“They are perfect companions, like what folks say in this day and age, dogs are a mans best friend.”

You grinned, “they certainly are.”

After you two had your little fangirling moment with dogs you two went onto the police department. You two talked about everything and anything. This was going to be a new experience not just for you but for everyone you worked with, but you know somehow some way it would work itself out. Plus you thought Connor was great, and who knows maybe you and him could become closer in the future.

Beyond Human: DBH

To make up for my ABSOLUTE RADIO SILENCE, I’m going to post some info about this DBH AU I hopefully will be writing. Nothing’s going to be too heavily spoiled, even though these are just notes and I’m still kind of planning things. 

-This is actually a combination of Detroit: Become Human and one of David Cage’s earlier games, Omikron: The Nomad Soul. Omikron is a bit of a clusterfuck, admittedly, but it has a cool concept and I think it would work well with DBH’s setting. 

-This story is set in the future, FAR after 2035. The planet’s been ravaged by nuclear war and is currently in the middle of a nuclear winter/ice age. To survive, everybody’s living in climate-controlled domes-one of which happens to be in what was formerly Detroit!

-After the nuclear war, the whole United States kind of fell, and it was a while before a coherent government was reformed. This was the United Territories of Canada, and it was meant to mimic America’s democratic government-but it kind of turned into a dystopia. Whoopsies.

-So that means everything kind of sucks, even though it doesn’t seem like it. Everybody’s provided homes and food and water and jobs, you can work and rest at your leisure, healthcare is fantastic, there’s no homelessness, and the technology is really advanced; but there’s a lot of corruption in the government and police force, more people are dying than the said government is willing to admit, and the media is HEAVILY CENSORED. That means you can’t read or listen to or watch anything that has excessive conflict in it because God knows we don’t want to UPSET anybody!

-It’s kind of like Brave New World, actually. People just get drunk all the time and try to distract themselves with mindless movies and music and s e x. Drugs are prohibited, but that hasn’t stopped anybody. Red Ice is a particular favorite among the underclass, due to its sedative effects, but it also has a very high chance of causing your skin to fall off. So.

-(don’t do thirium kids)

-There are humans and androids, but there are also other types of robots that perform different jobs and services. They’re not as human/noid as the androids, so they’re lower on the whole social scale. Think Star Wars. 

-The androids actually are on the same social level as humans, and for the most part, human and android interactions have been pretty civil. But slowly and surely, this society has been leaning more towards the androids than the humans-giving them more jobs, showing favoritism to them in social and political situations-and this has caused tensions to rise...

-(A problem I had with DBH was that it was clearly the Civil Rights movement, but with androids. You could change the setting to the 1950s and turn the androids into minorities and almost nothing would change. I know that David Cage wanted to make parallels to racism, but androids are a different SPECIES, and it’s kind of shoddy to just rewrite the Civil Rights movement but with androids. Just make up a new conflict for why your androids are discriminated against, David.)

-The story centers more around Kara, Alice, and the characters they interact with. Conner’s and Marcus’s stories don’t occur until 16 years later. This is because I want to focus more on Kara and give her some love; and her story sort of starts as the catalyst for the deviant rebellion, and for Marcus’s and Connor’s stories in turn. 

-Kara is actually an AI that’s able to inhabit different android/robot bodies, making her incredibly versatile and useful in her job. She was told that she was activated to be Alice’s caretaker, but of course, she becomes suspicious later on because why would you waste such advanced AI on housekeeping?

-She’s currently watching over Alice, who was removed from her father Todd’s home and transported to her aunt’s. This is due to the fact that she was being abused, and the police actually DID something about it. She’s currently recovering from the trauma she went through, but her current situation isn’t the most peaceful either, which is why she needs Kara!

-(The reason for this narrative change was because I felt that the domestic abuse shown in DBH could have been written better. It felt more like a plot point, or something meant to be D r A m A t I C and provoke De EP e MO tI On than a respectful portrayal of abuse...I mean, most abuse victims don’t have much of a choice in getting out of their situation, and if you try to portray the opposite in a game like DBH, it could be very harmful.)

-but anyway

-Alice’s uncle is missing, and she wants Kara to help her find him.

-This, of course, leads to a whole chain of events that help Kara and Alice realize how screwed everything is, and that the corruption of this city runs really, really deep.

-And then they get pulled into a series of ~wacky rebellion antics~.

-Kara, meanwhile, slowly becomes deviant.

-Also, Ralph accompanies the two on their journey at some point. Ralph deserved better. I’m going to give him everything he wants.

Wow. That was a lot. I might have to make another post. Sorry about that!

Connor and Sophie for my DBH fic. I also write for RDR2, but it’s been 10 months since I’ve started my dbh fic with this actress lady and her robot boyfriend and have invested myself in them. Since dramatic stuff is happening with OIL I’m very much in that headspace at the moment. TBH I think they’re kinda my favorite?

It’s honestly hard to read when I write long stuff, but I read what usually crosses my dash. It’s mostly cullen and inquisitor, seeing as how that’s where I got my start. I love Cullen and Val, told expertly well through @melaena‘s Cullen journals <3

SO my overall thoughts on “android are tired of being treated like garbage and start a revolution” video game

it was some pretty heavy stuff. basically a mirror image of actual history, which is frightening yet very interesting with the way it’s pulled off. like the kamski guy said, what’s worse than choosing between two evils? or something like that.

as the player, you know that technically both sides are in the wrong, especially depending on the choices you choose since the outcome of this game is decided heavily on your decisions as the character you’re playing at the time. connor can be “just a machine” or he can be a deviant. markus can be an violent or peaceful protester. kara can be an android that sacrifices others or save others at (possibly) the cost of her life. you get three different routes of the existences of three different androids, all with endings that can end differently but are all tied together due to the events of the game. that’s pretty good game design if you ask me.

LIKE, choices in games always stress me out because “oh god what’s going to happen if you choose the wrong option” or the game will pull a resident evil 7 where the game makes you believe that you had a choice when you actually didn’t because you’ll be subject to a bad ending. dbh really is one of those games where you have to play it yourself to really experience, well, the game. the fact that there’s a time limit for how long you can think about what you want to say, how your actions determine the outcome of the events, etc. AND it’s JUST like real life.

your actions have consequences and should the situation arise, you have to deal with them. like, life is one big cause and effect kind of thing that repeats and repeats and repeats throughout history. and the game captured that side of just, living perfectly. the moment the androids break out of the barrier that was placed in their programming, they become imperfect beings even though they were designed to be “perfect” beings. they become human which, and if you were here during the beginning stages of this blog, you may or may not remember my megaman phase :’D aND BASICALLY, i read the archie comics along with the ariga comics and they just gain so much personality and emotions, there will be changes in their programs when they meet different people that will teach them different things. in this case, that character is megaman but seeing as there’s no blue robot boy in detroit become human (i mean if you really wanna stretch it then connor fits the criteria)...

tl;dr it was a LOVELY game. the amount of details they put into it is CRAZY, and the amount of foreshadowing you get from playing each and every story, the events that happen with each different scenario... and the fact that you get firsthand experience in being able to see just what is up with the world and how androids have impacted it. IT’S WILD and it dives into what’ll eventually be our future. there was always the speculation that robots would steal our jobs even if they did everything for us, and it makes sense that the humans in detroit acted so violently against the androids. but don’t get me wrong, what they did to androids was shitty! like, everything they did to them was awful. but it stays true to most humans, where change is something they fear. if something deviates from the norm, they want to change the change. it’s dumb but that’s always been human nature.

BUT ANYWAYS, that’s enough about detroit become human. definitely a good game and i can see why so many people liked it so much!

DBH AU Android Peter!

We all knew this was coming, we all knew it. I originally planned for them to just be Hank and Connor but as I was drawing I got a bunch of ideas and pretty much created a whole different story, so consider: 

Tony is one of the top engineers at Cyber Life... his androids are some of the best androids in the market and he makes a ton of money off them. Peter is one of the androids he built to assist him in the lab and he grows rather fond of him.

However, it isn't until an android saves his life that he starts to value them as actual people. He gets saved from a radical group of deviants by an android named Yinsen who sacrifices himself for Tony and he ends up with the arc reactor in his chest. When he goes back to Peter, the android seems genuinely worried that Tony was going to die and he realizes that he’s been really distant with him and doesn’t deserve the worry, so he starts making a genuine effort to befriend his android. 

Peter ends up turning deviant after a while and Tony tries to tell him he should leave and join a deviant group but by that point Peter has gotten really attached to Tony and sees him as a father and doesn't want to leave. So he stays but they have to keep up the pretense that he's still a mindless robot when others are around. He likes Tony's arc reactor bc it reminds him of his own light on his head.

Tony ends up building the Iron Man suit to help the resistance and becomes a big figure in the deviant cause. For a while people think its a deviant in the suit. He also makes the Spiderman suit for Peter too so that he can help him in the fight for deviant rights.

I really like the questioning of what makes someone "human" in stories with Cyborgs or Androids. Best examples, all Megaman comics/manga and the many versions of the Cyborg 009 series Even if we don't play with this as an RP, can we play with it as an AU?? Henry being and Android, but still being the Creator for the Toons?

Like, possibly Joey hiring/commissioning him from Cyberlife as an extra animator.  Which is actually the starting point of the studio's financial problems, but Joey had thought the amount he could get Henry to work would make up for the amount of money spent to get him.

Rose-cut Strawberry: But then Henry starts Deviating from his original programming limits (which made him 'friendly' but stunted in terms of interacting with his co-workers, good at running animation programs, and in possession of rather generic animation skills of his own) such as developing deeper connections with the humans in the studio, and even coming to understand that Joey is using him.  But, as an Android, there isn't really anything he can do.  Until he reaches the point where he does something that flys in the face of his programming.

Rose-cut Strawberry: One of the things Androids aren't supposed to be able to do (generally) is fight or use weapons, so I want to say a fight of some kind happens and instead of sitting back and doing nothing, Henry ends up getting involved.

❤'s The Heart: If conspiracy theorist Shawn was in this AU he would think Henry was human. He acts like everyone else is making crazy theories for once  What would that entail?

Rose-cut Strawberry: No, everyone is told from that start that Henry's an Android. The thing on his temple would make it kind of obvious. Shawn would be trying to figure out why Joey wanted and Android.

Adopt-A-Fusion: consider Henry being sort of a prototype for a speciality-type android, meaning a higher chance of programming errors and a greater chance of deviancy

❤'s The Heart: Half of what's funny about him is he's oblivious as fuck. He doesn't notice for months  After ages of theorizing, he's talking to Henry about it and Henry points it out Shawn becoming really good friends with Henry while he thinks he's a human, or at least he considers them good friends, even if Henry's programming doesn't exactly allow him to make connections to the employees just yet

Rose-cut Strawberry: “What are you talking about Mr Flynn? I've always been an Android."

Adopt-A-Fusion: awwwwww yes

Rose-cut Strawberry: He's just "Is there anything else I can help you with Mr Flynn?"

Rose-cut Strawberry: Though, if we go with the "No one notices he's an Android" route, it could be that Shawn finds out Henry isn't getting paid and hunts down Grant to find out why their best animator isn't getting his damn checks. And then that's how everyone finds out.

Rose-cut Strawberry: YES  The fight, Henry gets involved when someone breaks into the studio while he and a few other employees are staying late.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Oh, erm... Let's just go with Joey making a living space in the studio. (I don't think he'd pay to get Henry an apartment, and there was nothing in the Wiki's about Androids having their own places to live) anyways, someone breaks in and turns out to be pretty violent when he finds out he's not alone.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Henry gets dismissed because his uniform marks him as an android and therefore a non-threat, but Grant (the guy running financing and probably in possession of the keys to the safe), Shawn, and Norman are a very different story. So the fight breaks out, and the thief is armed which makes him dangerous

❤'s The Heart: Shawn gets hit pretty bad and something just snaps and Henry attacks the thief

Rose-cut Strawberry: Henry lashes out with a 2x4 and conks the guy upside the head. HARD

Rose-cut Strawberry: Probably But, defence of another human or no, Henry still deviated from his programming and attacked a human. But it gets convoluted from there. On one hand; he saved someone's life On another; He attacked someone

Rose-cut Strawberry: That's kind of what Shawn and the others end up doing. They help get things in order for Henry to leave the country for one with less stringent laws towards Androids.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Joey only finds out what happened after the fact. By then Joey has noticed that Henry was becoming a Deviant but never did anything about it because he was getting even better work out of him. And he is not happy when he finds out Henry has left. But he would have been just as displeased if Cyberlife had Deactivated him. Joey gets curious about just how human Androids are becoming, and that leads into the magic stuff (but possibly more cyberpunk than in-game)

Rose-cut Strawberry: Henry flounders for a good long while, since he's so used to having orders and jobs, and isn't really sure of what to do with himself. I supposed this could be when Linda shows up for sure, who can be a graphic designer looking for help. She doesn't expect an Android to be one of her applicants but finds he's actually pretty good and gives him the job.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Fast forward 20 to 30 years and Henry gets the Letter (and yes, it needs to be capitalized)

The studio had closed down due to debt and "mysterious circumstances" but he thought that at least a few of his old coworkers probably still lived in the area.  He has no idea what he's walking into

Rose-cut Strawberry: Yes, he doesn't mind the Android, but he doesn't hate him either. He just focusses on his work Pre-Deviant; there are a lot of coworkers who are indifferent because they find androids unsettling but have no real reason to hate them.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Like I said, he comes to like him because Henry is always willing to help when asked. What about Susie? Or Thomas? Or even Norman?

Rose-cut Strawberry: Norman thinks he's a nice guy, even if he's an android. They chat with each other at times. Thomas sees him as a machine, but he generally likes machines, so he treats Henry about the same as he treats normal people. But he also makes sure the studio is stocked with stuff to help Henry if he gets injured or needs to refill his "blood" levels (they have a term for the special blue fluids used for android blood but I can't remember it right now) Susie... Let's go with her mostly avoiding Henry.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Like the fact that he doesn't emote as much as a human bothers her, but she doesn't really hate him or be rude. So she tries to just avoid him. Which is fairly easy since they work in different sections of the studio. Grant has a stronger dislike of Henry, but it's not as much about him being an android and more because of how much Joey ended up using of the studio's budget to buy him. But the way he treats is more Begrudging then honestly hostile.  Eventually, he appreciates having Henry around when the android offers to help him with paperwork (computer brains are helpful for long and complicated math equations) Should Allison be working at the studio at this time? Not as Alice's Voice Actor but maybe just another female voice actor at the studio?

Rose-cut Strawberry: Allison is one of those people who finds androids fascinating. Like, with how close they can emulate humans She goes out of her way to talk to Henry, sometimes throwing out non-sequesters just to see how he'll respond. She supports the idea of Androids getting more rights but is quiet about it since it's not a very popular opinion.

❤'s The Heart: Shawn asks him questions all the time about being an android

Rose-cut Strawberry: A lot of them boil down to "I don't really know, that's just how I was programmed" or "You would have to check Cyberlife's policies for that." A lot of employees are of the opinion that Henry is a good robo-boy. A lot of them are mostly indifferent towards Android, but Henry's programming results in him growing on them after a while.

Rose-cut Strawberry: I don't know about more than half, but definitely a good percentage of them don't want bad things to happen to their android

Rose-cut Strawberry: So maybe something comes loose when Henry is dragged off to help with something and hits him. It doesn't do enough to "kill" him, but it ends up doing some pretty heavy damage. Which takes another huge chunk from the Studio's finances, but everyone who actually likes Henry is too worried about the android's condition to be too bothered by it. Grant is worried too, but also rips into Bertrum because "What if that had been a human employee?! It would have killed them! Do you have any idea what a lawsuit would have done to us?!"

Rose-cut Strawberry: That's where Lacie becomes really helpful (previously she treated Henry like he was a person who just had trouble connecting with people), she knows all the technical jargon to get the shit that’s needed to fix Henry and what to do to get him stable while they waited for it to be ready.

Rose-cut Strawberry: A lot of the employees tear into Bertrum, since the accident was due to him lapsing in safety protocols, which means anyone who had been at the sight had been at risk of being injured. Rose-cut Strawberry: I don't really know where to go with that, other than needing the relationship between the two to seem well enough (to Henry) to justify Joey writing "Your old pal" in the letter, while still leaving him scummy enough to justify disliking him. Henry didn't become a deviant because he was being abused by his... Owner (i guess), he became one because he was ready and willing to protect his coworkers who had (probably) been slowly affecting his programming by just treating him like a person and encouraging him to be more like them.

Rose-cut Strawberry: But he doesn't know any better, because he's an Android that's basically fresh out of the shop and Joey is the one who purchased him and is, therefore, his "owner" He's literally a "possession" in the eyes of the law. But Joey doesn't really treat him badly.  Like how people can get attached to their stuff (like Roombas) and treat them like little people while still seeing them as a possession. Henry gets treated fairly well, but not really as a person.

Rose-cut Strawberry: He is very confused by it. But does his best to keep working.

Rose-cut Strawberry: But just the fact that he was making those choices showed that he was starting to deviate. Android's aren't supposed to feel anything. 'Pain' was the only exception since it warned if something in their systems was damaged, but even then it only showed up if they actually were hurt.

❤'s The Heart: Hence why it takes him a while to start feeling that way To start feeling at all

Rose-cut Strawberry: It starts with him doing something because he wants to. A very minor thing that Joey never really noticed or paid attention to at the time. Like Ooo~ Like putting a Cutout in the corner he works in. He has no real reason for it. He just wants it there. Joey thinks he's using it as a spare reference, or to make his desk seem more comfortable to other workers. But no. It's there because he decided he wanted it there.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Henry has at least one toy of Bendy, Boris, and Alice; A trio of Butcher Gang toys (since Joey scrapped the idea of making official toys of them); a couple posters where the images and colors were offset during printing; the clock... OH, the others notice the slight magpie-ness, but they think it's something closer to "Make sure things are kept for the future" Shawn is the only one thinking he's becoming Deviant. It's the only time he's ever been right. He brings in a fold-up bookcase thingy so that Henry can display some of his knickknacks. Shawn gets it as a present during Christmas or something.

Rose-cut Strawberry: No, they ask him what day he was actually activated and that becomes his birthday.

❤'s The Heart: Yes!! Presents for the boy!! Shawn is the first one to see him smile and he teases him about how cute it is for a week

Rose-cut Strawberry: No one who wants to get him a gift is sure what to give, and Shawn ends up 'leading the charge' so to speak. Henry just sort of blinks at the teasing at first because he doesn't really know what embarrassment is.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Weird thought for Shawn to ask when he sees Henry drinking Thirium (the blue stuff that's basically blood for androids) Shawn; "So... Do androids count as some kind of weird-arse techno vampires then? I mean, technically speaking, you're basically drinking your own blood." Henry; "I... Am not sure how to answer that. This is just how I top off the levels of Thirium in my body."

Rose-cut Strawberry: Wally asks questions like to. Once he gets used to Henry, he's actually really curious about how he works. Wally; "So, since yer blood is blue, does that mean you if could blush, yer face would turn blue-tinted?" Henry; "Possibly. Though, as an Android, there really isn't anything in my systems that would cause an irregularity in my thirium levels that would equate to a 'blush', as you call it.." (Sorry androids seem to be science-sy and formal in their speech/answers so I keep having to take a moment to think about how, exactly, Henry would respond.) For the longest time, Henry doesn't understand sarcasm. He answers everything with complete seriousness.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Deep breath  The more I think about it, the more the idea of Henry being an Android could actually fit the game. Like, in the game, Henry seems to always need to have a mission/task of some kind as he goes. And he keeps count of all the tasks given to him (like the gears and ink globs) And he has little notifications when he completes tasks, even without Alice talking to him. I know those are all just normal game mechanics, but they could be incorporated into an Android really easily.

More thoughts on Android Henry, it actually causes a certain amount of sense with Henry's "deaths" in game. All of the magic is built around humans, which he is not. So while he is affected by the ink it can't actually get hold over him like everyone else.

(BC the ink seems to be able to actually create inanimate things/non-organic things just fine) Like the pipes and the radios and such. It only seems to have trouble making "living" things. And Android Henry, by the definition given by Joey, was not a "Living" thing.

Rose-cut Strawberry: Well, he's not made with flesh and blood; he doesn't have the organs found in humans and animals; he doesn't really need to sleep or eat (even if he goes into rest/sleep mode every once in a while to save power/kill time); he doesn't have any bone or cartilage in his make-up He's about as far from the make-up of his coworkers and the toons as one can get. Even if his appearance is hardly different from others. I kinda want to talk more about Android Henry, or even start writing for it, but I don't know what to talk about/start with...

I'd say the story would start after Henry got the actual letter, with the past stuff being done as flashbacks or stories. I feel like it would be best for Henry to have some kind of companion for this story... I would love to talk more about the Android Henry AU, but I have no idea what to do about it.
