Lol I just had my first attempt at “customising” my clothes.

My current jeans have an annoyig hole in the inner thigh and I have tried fixing them, but the “fabric plaster” takes a few days before it’s safe to be stretched. And because I literally can’t remember things, I always remember that I need to add a new patch there THE DAY I need the jeans. Even if I was 5 days in a row at home, somehow that just never crosses my mind before the day I need them.

So I went through some of my old clothes, including the previous jeans that I replaced with the ones I have because they got too big AND because it’s so so so difficult to find good clothes for myself and I literally don’t have any other fitting jeans than the ones that have been needing fixing. I tried them on now and hopefully they fit a bit too well now only because I washed them a while back and not because I have gained so much weight I’m again the size of those jeans.

ANYWAY the point of this post: the jeans I added a new fabric plaster on that that need to sit there for a few days before I can use them, I thought I could temporarily use my old jeans since it’s bit too warm outside for my work pants I’ve been using instead too. But the thing is: my current jeans have these neat pre-made holes in the knees and I really really love it how they look like!

So what I did was to try and make something similar to the old jeans............... it looks awful :DD Hopefully it doesn’t look as awful when I finally WEAR them than what they look like now. You’d think making shredded jeans would be easy but apparently I’m not good at even destroying a piece of clothing lmao. But since they are my old jeans and probably still too big once they get stretched more in use (they’re still a bit baggy around my knees), it doesn’t really matter. But at least I now have temporary jeans to use and don’t need to melt outside just because it’s too warm for othert types of pants.

Also I think it’s warm enough to give my new shoes another “running in”. Idk if you can say that about other things but motors in English but in Finnish we use that saying about pretty much anything, be it clothes or horse foals in training. Anyway, the shoes are still quite stiff, despite not even being from real leather (as if I had money for real leather shoes more than once in every 10 years), and need to start carefully in order to not kill my feet.

                    Zoe had Nora had been catching up in one of the smaller tents, hanging around by the bar when the news about the fire broke. It all happened quite fast, but at the same time very calmly. Some of the security guards had come in with a solemn look on their face, called everyone’s attention— and that was when the tent quieted down enough to make out the cries for help in the distance. 

                    “I need everyone to stay calm,” he said after explaining the situation. “We’ve alerted authorities and the fire department is on their way. Please make your way out the tent and move towards emergency exit B, past the Ferris Wheel. Do not panic, do not shove or push anyone. Just stay calm.” He was already waving the people closest to him out, and Zoe watched as panic slowly started to brew in everyone’s eyes. Some more desperate to get out than others. 

                     She turned to look at Nora, holding her breath for a second before she linked her arm with hers. “Better stay together.” As much as Zoe just wanted to get the hell out of there, she wanted to make sure her friend did as well, and with the panic setting, who knew how fast they’d end up being separated by others.
