(Transformed) "HYAAAAGH" suddenly a group charged at us, looks like we will have to fight our way through others this time. (Kazuya) "Grand hammer, I will take the lead Ruby you provide back up!" I nodded and we moved on. (Melanie) "What...is...happening?" I can't blame her for questioning this but we had to focus on the enemies for now! (Naoh) "To be honest kid this world aint real, right now you are witnessing the oblivious ones attacking us because we have seen through the illusion. Basically right now you are the person you want to be whether it be the life you live or the appearance you take on. You probably recently said the word that represents what you desired when coming to this world. The use of that world caused a form of deja vu that from you meeting this world ruler known as Serene!". That's right....I remember Kazuya wanting attention and Maria wanting to be loved. I remember Melanie having a headache yesterday but what was the word that triggered it again?

(Melanie) "Wait a second...if saying the word that represents our desires helps us see the world for what it is. How come so many people are still oblivious?" (Naoh) "A good question, simple why would you think about saying it if you are living your ideal life, the three of you said these words by chance!". (Transformed) "Must protect Lady Nezumi, Shadow Slash" (Ruby) "Kazuya dodge him! Twinerang" we were doing a decent job of fighting through the enemies! We hit a few barricades along the way though which is slowing us down. As we made it further in we saw a stronger looking guy, (Kazuya) "Time to try a new trick Hammer Hurricane" (Ruby) "I will back you up Forward Shot" I tried going for a straight forward hit. (Transformed E) "What a joke" -gulp- he was able to cancel both of our attacks at once.

We tried to rush past him but he kept blocking the way....this is bad, we need to take this guy down! I doubt we can maintain these forms long enough to beat him and that Nezumi girl....if only we could of trained before this! (Transformed E) "FAAAAAALL" (Ruby) "AGH" (Kazuya) "Grand Hammer...ugh no good...he is too strong". He took down Kazuya so easily...(Melanie) "Naoh can you awaken this power within me too?" (Naoh) "Of course but you must admit to who you truly are, are you sure you want to do that?". (Melanie) "I am, my name is Melanie Yuki I was a model as I dreamed of showcasing many beautiful outfits. However I grew to hat the constant attention I got....I just wanted to be an ordinary girl again! (Naoh) "Then I think it's time for you to GOOOOOOOO LIIIIIIIIIVE" suddenly I could feel a burst of energy nearby.

(Transformed E) "One more opponent won't be an issue, shadow claw". (Melanie) "Humph that attack is ugly" no...no way she dodged it with ease...."Counter Fan Dance!" she took him down with just one shot, "ugh...am I suppose to feel this exhausted?" (Naoh) "Pretty much you just had a burst of emotions after all, poor guy didn't stand a chance. I know you guys are in a hurry to save Maria but it's best you rest up. That Musician is going to be a lot tougher, with the three of you it may be possible to win. But don't assume it's a guaranteed" the three of us agreed and didn't to sit down for a bit. (Ruby) "Hey Melanie, we were going to start a fake club to get a room to train in, would you be willing to be a member?" (Melanie) "Of course...I am sure there is a lot more to you guys but for now I want to help you save your friend!". Since the first time we got here I felt confident we could win this fight, Nezumi you better watch out because we will save Maria!

Ah, great choice, Raquel! :D That’s actually the BC album I’ve been listening to the most lately. (I think I’ve wrung all the serotonin I can ring out of Violent Pop for now ^^;)

I’m on my bus rn and I’m re-listening to the whole album (for like….the fourth time this week 😂) so I can give you my track by track thoughts.

Trigger: Such a great show-opener. They were an opening band that nobody cared about at this point in their career, and they confront that so openly here.

Sharks Love Blood: The poppiest song on the record. I would show this to somebody if I was trying to get them into BC and knew they weren’t super into metal. It makes me smile whenever I hear it. But, when you really listen to the lyrics, the relationship being described is more toxic than romantic 😬

Wolfpack: My favorite track on the album tbh. Such a great ode to friendship and brotherhood. It makes me wish I had a friend like that looking out for me. 🥺 Protect me, Niko

Elephant In The Room: I genuinely want to know who this one was about. Who hurt you, Niko?!

“Liar, liar, pants on fire, hang you from the telephone wire!” <- that’s intense.

But it’s cute that he let his then-16-year-old brother do guest vocals.

Out Of Town: Another really poppy one. I feel like this would be a good track to listen to while driving. (If I…uhh…knew how to drive. ^^;)

My Heart Is A Hurricane: I think this is my second favorite track on the album. I believe it’s partially based on Joel’s romantic life at the time? So it really tugs at my heartstrings.

Giants: This song genuinely motivates me to keep going when I’m depressed.

Like A Brother: Not a fan of the Autotune on the first verse, tbh. 😕

But, this is the track I emotionally connect to the most, because I’ve had the experience of being betrayed by a close friend. I feel like this one and “Elephant In The Room” are about the same person, and I want to ask again, “who hurt you, Niko?!”

My brain always wants to misinterpret it as a gay breakup song tho lol.

Alone Against All: I like this one because it’s like…vaguely political? I’d like to see them take a more direct stab at why the world is “falling apart”.

The “whoooaaa”s give me BVB vibes.

Scream: Oh, god. RIP Chester Bennington. This song always makes me want to cry. The first thing I thought, when I heard BC for the first time, was that they were obviously deeply influenced by Linkin Park. This is such a moving tribute to a legend who left us too soon. 💔

I.D.F.U.: Strong anti-bullying message here, obviously. When my coworkers are being dicks, I go out in the office parking lot and listen to this one, to calm down and avoid smashing someone’s face in.

@fuxdeiflswued​‘s Orchestra AU, it makes me very happy and I think about it all the time. 13 is a conductor and Yaz is first-chair violin and it is perfect in every way.

Not sure if this person is on tumblr, but February by softestbutch is so beautiful and lovely. The Doctor arrives to pick Yaz up early because it’s snowing. And they’re in love.

Also not sure if this person is on tumblr but i kinda fell half in love and you’re to blame by timelxrd is one I reread a lot. 13 got truth-serum-attacked and goes to see Yaz to wait out the effects...

Bonus: People have a tough time guessing where I’m from now because I’ve spent too long mixing accents/pronunciation/dialect due to work or travel. But the Bahston still comes out whenever I’m within 50 feet of another Masshole.

Favourite time of year: I would have to say autumn as it’s a nice break from the usual hot summer here but not cold enough yet for lots of blankets. And it doesn’t have the pollen of spring to worry about 😂

Comfort food: It would have to be Tonkostu ramen with extra pork belly. But it has to from a proper ramen booth/restaurant as it’s always the best from there.

Do you collect something?: I used to collect Lion King stuff but now it’s just books. I collect (hoard) books.

Favourite drink: A large green peach iced tea with lychee jelly from a bubble tea/boba shop. And my favourite alcoholic drink (though I rarely drink) is a Fruit Tingle.
