I choose Frankie Morales. I can trust him driving, not getting us lost and in case something goes wrong, he'll stay calm and keep me calm.

We're gonna drive to Yellowstone National Park because I've never been and all the pictures I've seen loos breathtaking. I might be inclined to actually camp (despite hating so very much) since it feels safer in a park than just in a random place.

On the way, we can explore different diners and a hotel or two just to sample them. I think it would be fun. We're going to need to come up with a playlist though that might start a debate, but a fun one.

will be taking a small gap between it and the queen of nothing but my non spoiler thoughts are i enjoyed it and that i keep forgetting cardan is not blonde (idk why i just find and replace his hair colour every time it's mentioned - i know he has dark hair he just gives me blonde vibes idk)

spoilery thoughts under the cut:

kay the sex scene was not what id expected (i have an irl who mentioned to me that there was a sex scene in the book but i thought it was going to be more graphic because of her)

so glad it was fade to black though because the moment the TAIL was mentioned i could not take it seriously

the wedding into the big twist at the end was my favourite part though like it really brought this book up in my ranking because even though i wasn't hugely surprised at cardan betrayal i thought it was executed really well

My brother has discovered the 80s.

He's exclusively listening to 80s music, using 80s slang, dressing like the 80s daily (the undershirt with some kind of unbuttoned flannel/jacket). He and his friends literally just started a garage band. He keeps going around telling everyone how great the 80s were and he keeps bragging to our parents about how he's going full 80s.

This all started because my parents saw him copying my style and told him that it was giving 80s vibes.
