WIP Weekend
Tumblr media
The weather is cooler, my head is clearer. Let's fucking goooo.
Send me an emoji, and I'll write and share three sentences from that WIP.
Tumblr media
💀you’re on your own, kid (chapter 7) 🔍 can’t breathe whenever you’re gone (YOYOKverse, chapter 3) 😈 dance with the devil (part 18) 👻 whumptober 2024 (I know that was last month, shut up and pick one of the prompts anyway)
Tumblr media
No snippet because I'm trying to defrost from a several month long freeze with this.

@cadcnce said: 👐🏻: Wylan is having a hard time getting his hands to warm up. Sonia, ever the wiser of the two, had worn much warmer clothes for the weather which means there's an opportunity... snaking his hands underneath those layers and resting chilly fingers against her sides is an immediate source of relief. Or is it??
Cooler Weather Emoji Prompts
One thing, at least, still appeared in Tokyo just as they did in Novoselic’s capital to celebrate the season. It had been Sonia’s choice to stop in front of the large windows of Shinjuku’s Isetan department store, ignoring the array of products on display in favor of the holiday scenes: a North Pole scene with a working toy train and mechanical polar bears that roamed fake snowy hills, a European-style village dusted in snow and fairy lights with Santa and his sleigh in shadows, drifting from house to house, a candy factory producing all sorts of seasonal treats. Each design utilized light, sound, and robotics to help traditions come alive for shoppers and onlookers alike. Beneath the faux-fur collar of her coat, Sonia beamed at the decorations, barely able to keep herself from pressing both her gloved hands and her nose against the glass. “Look at them,” She cooed, chuckling as one of the mechanical polar bears roared to the tune of ‘Jingle Bells.’ “Every one of these is so charming and beautiful! If it wasn’t so miniature, it would be as if you could walk right into Christmas-”
That was about as much as she could manage. In her awe and distraction by the window displays, Wylan had been distracted by something else. Or rather, someone. Sonia wasn’t sure if she wanted to know how, by some miracle or talent, she wasn’t able to feel his hands unbutton the front of her pale blue coat, slide under the knit of her cashmere sweater, and find themselves set squarely on the delicate curves of the smallest part of her waist. No, the princess couldn’t even consider the how of the situation: she was far too embroiled with the immediate freezing touch of his fingers against her soft, almost equally cold skin.
Tumblr media
It was Wylan’s mistake, if it had been his goal to warm up against the outdoor elements using Sonia’s body heat alone. Her heavy-duty cold weather attire was still packed away in Novoselic, leaving her with her lighter, more formal cold weather garments that weren’t as effective as what she’d wear high in the mountains. She was nearly as cold as he was, choosing to brave it in favor of immersing herself in the season. Sonia cried out, causing half a dozen people to turn and look. Though instead of offering help, they all seemed to be amused: “Look at that lively young couple!”
Lively was one word for it, as Sonia jumped nearly a foot in the air, enough to likely dislodge his hands from beneath her clothes. “That’s cold!” She yelped, smoothing down her sweater and refastening her coat’s buttons. “Wylan, do you not have any gloves?”
His sheer amount of boldness and disregard for social etiquette was also remarkable, though something the princess couldn’t very well bring up in public without making a scene. Not that she wasn’t making one already, as more passersby turned to watch and chuckle at them. Her instinct wanted to correct them, that she and her friend were in no way a couple of any sort, and yet she couldn’t seem to voice them aloud.

@frxstbittcn asked:
🧣 "Wait, hold still a sec." ;; @nomadiisms, from Porrima
Cooler Weather Emoji Prompts ! 🧣  : Tie my muse’s scarf around their neck for them after they mess it up
Tumblr media
The Viera looks a touch more frazzled then he usually allowed himself to appear- the long list of tasks that needed doing for the day causing him no small amount of stress. He’d been shuffling through a small stack of papers in his hands and muttering to himself as they walked when he caught his companions voice- one of his ears twitching to swivel in his direction, before his gaze followed. “ah...alright..? Is something amiss?” He questioned, brow furrowed as his pace slowed to a halt- allowing the shorter man to approach. Hands lightly gripped the ends of the scarf he’d loosely and rather messily thrown about his shoulders in his haste, causing Julian to instinctively lean down a touch despite the slight confusion still present on his face He blinks in mild surprise as Porrima lightly adjusts the scarf- tying it to rest more snugly around his neck. “oh. i see-” The instant added warmth made Julian realize how chilled he’d actually been- he must have been too distracted to take much note...rather reckless of him, frankly- he was more put together then this usually.. Still, he offered his companion a small smile- dipping his head slightly in an appreciative nod. “My thanks~ i suppose i didn’t realize the state i was in..”

🌟 : Lay out in the backyard on a blanket, star gazing together
Cooler Weather Emoji Prompts | Accepting
The cold winter breeze flowed over exposed skin, the soft fabric of the lavender night gown she was wearing, keeping her somewhat warm. Her hair was splayed out beside her as she lay on the thick blanket Renji had brought out for them, the sky clear and the moon full as it rose to it’s highest point.
She turned slightly, moving her gaze to look over at the red head who lay beside her. His hair was down also framing his head on the blanket, eyes focused upward as her own violet eyes trailing down the length of his body.  Wordlessly, she reached out a hand, letting her fingertips run down the length of his arm before finding his hand and weaving their fingers together. Warmth seemed to envelope her hand slowly emanating up her arm. His warmth. Renji.
Silence. No words were needed between the two in the quiet twilight hours. There were the natural sounds of crickets, rustling in some nearby foliage. Peaceful. With Renji, there was no need to constantly fill the silence with random conversation. Ever since they were children, laying together outside was something completely natural. Sometimes as a child, Rukia would create animals out of the stars and make up stories - if only to hear Renji’s laughter. It was something to distract them from harsh reality of the world around them. A bubble of sorts that belongs to them and them alone.
Now, as adults and intricately busy with their respective squads - time like this was even more rare. More often than not, Renji would sleep soundly in their bed while Rukia sat outside, unaware of the chill in the night air. It was when her mind was clearest and she was able to communicate more easily with Sode no Shirayuki. But having him by her side was a comfort she sorely missed. At the very least, Renji would let her know if she stayed too long in her inner world and frost formed on her skin.
Rukia returned her gaze back to the night sky. The familiar thrum of Renji’s reiatsu mingling with her own as they lay together. She felt her breathing sync to the same rhythm as his, her chest mirroring the red head’s as it rose and fell slowly and deeply.
When Rukia finally did speak, it was barely above a whisper, partly because they were already next to each other but mostly it was so she wouldn’t disturb the almost reverent atmosphere of twilight. “If we’re not careful, we’ll fall asleep out here, you know. Though.. I don’t think I’d mind that.”

Allow Me To Introduce Myself
I’m not really good at talking about myself unless prompted, so I’m just snagging a Bio Template and a Questionnaire and filling it out. I might add to it, IDK. I know you’re supposed to be asked these and then answer, but I don’t have any followers, soooo... BASIC INFORMATION Full name: Nah. Call me Vitki. It kinda means something like “shaman” in old Norse. Visindi means “knowledge”, which I’m always after. I love learning things. Pronunciation: “Vit-kee” “Vis-IN-dee” Nickname(s) or Alias: I haven’t chosen a male name yet, so we’ll stick with Vitki or V. Gender: FtM. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you move on, or “DNI”, as the kids say. Species: Age: 28... I think? Birthday: 9/24 Sexuality: How do you get the eggplant emoji when you’re on the computer... Nationality: Idk. I’m a whole jumble of things. I look like your typical white American, though. Religion: I don’t even know. I think the best way to put it is Atheistic Asataru Shamanism... I’m still figuring myself out. Place of birth: South Carolina. Current Resident: Indiana. Languages: English. I know. I’m mundane and sad. I want to learn another language, though. I just don’t have a way to take classes or anything. Relationship Status: Married PHYSICAL APPEARANCE Height: 5ft 3in Weight: 180lbs. Yeah, I’m chubby. I don’t have the motivation to do anything about it, though. I do have a goal, btw. I swear I’ll never crack 200lbs. Hair Colour: Black, usually Hairstyle: Short, messy Facial Hairstyle: Clean, right now. I haven’t transitioned, so I really can’t do anything about that. Eye Colour: Brown Tattoos: None yet, unfortunately, Piercings: Ears HEALTH Smoker? Nope. Never. Drinker? RARELY. I can’t really handle the smell of alcohol, so I kind of avoid it unless I feel like I NEED to get a little drunk. Even then, I really only drink Mike’s Hard Lemonade and shit like that. Recreational Drug User? Which? No. And I would ONLY consider cannabis. First off, though, it’s illegal. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it was legal, and I do wish it was so cops could focus on shit that needs to be dealt with. Smoking anything just doesn’t appeal to me. Addictions: None that I can think of. Allergies: None that I know of. Any physical ailments/illnesses/disabilities: I am SUPER. FUCKING. BLIND. Without my contacts. And I get worse every year. I’m really terrified of getting so bad that contacts and glasses can’t fix it. PERSONALITY Personality: Likes: Dislikes: Fears/phobias: Talents/skills: EATING HABITS Omnivore/Carnivore/Herbivore:  Favourite food(s): Favourite drink(s): Disliked food(s):  Disliked drink(s):  HOUSE AND HOME Favourite type of house/home:  Do you share their home with anyone? Who?  Significant/special belongings:  CAREER Level of education:  Current job title and description:  FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FOES Parents names: Are parents alive or dead?  Still in contact with your parents?  Siblings? Relationship with siblings?  Other Important Relatives: Partner/Spouse:  Children:  Best Friend:  Other Important Friends:  Pets:  50,000 Questions 1. What’s your favourite colour? Icy blue. It used to be red, maroon, or terra cotta, but my personality has kind of... calmed down since then, I guess. That doesn’t mean I don’t still get mad, though.
2. What’s your favourite movie? Forever Lion King. I do really like other movies, but if I had to watch only one for the rest of my life, it would have to be Lion King.
3. What’s your favourite book? I don’t really have a favourite book. I really like a few different series, though. Harry Potter is a big one, but I really like Guardians of Ga’Hoole as well. I feel like it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves because the movie didn’t give it justice (even if it was really good on its own). I also used to be REALLY in to Warriors, but I’ve kind of resented the Erins ever since the “bad kid atheists” arc. Don’t even get me started on that.
4. What’s your favourite kind of food? Italian, I think. I’m super, ungodly picky, but I feel like a lot of the food I can eat is used in Italian food a lot.
5. What's your favourite kind of weather? Storms. Precipitation. Rain, sleet, hail, snow, anything. Also heat storms are nice.
6. What’s your favourite season? It’s between Autumn and Winter. Really, just the 6 months out of the year that aren’t sweltering hot. I hate heat.
7. Have you ever been in love? Well, I’m married, so I’d have to say yes.
8. What’s your favourite animal? Don’t ask me that. It all depends on my mood at the time.
9. Favourite thing about where you live? It’s a little bigger than a town and a helovalot smaller than a city, but it’s close enough to where the interesting places aren’t a day’s drive away.
10. Have you ever been overseas? No. The closest I can say is I lived in Hawaii for three years, but that doesn’t really count.
11. What’s your favourite place in the whole world? Any place that doesn’t have people in it.
12. What’s your favourite kind of music? I’m not too certain, really. My taste is kind of eclectic. I grew up on country, so of course I hate it now. I like Evanescence, Linkin Park, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Nickleback (I know), Seether, Eminem, Korn, and certain songs from certain bands, but not the band itself. I honestly really love pagan-style bands like Omnia, Faun, and others.
13. Where would you like to visit? Anywhere in the UK or thereabouts, really. England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, etc.
14. Biggest fears? My biggest fears have always been giving birth and having my spine messed with. I’ve done both twice, so I’m good. Mostly I’m just afraid we’re never going to be able to live in our own house, which isn’t the end of the world, really.
15. Do you believe in the paranormal? I don’t know. There’s things I’d really LIKE to believe in, but once you’re an atheist and a skeptic, it’s REALLY hard to believe in anything that can’t be proven logically.
16. What’s your star sign? Libra... Or Virgo, if you add that weird 13th zodiac...
17. Favourite sport? I actually hate sports. But I do respect the old ones like soccer (the rest of the world’s football) and tennis. I don’t follow any team for anything, but if I absolutely had to watch one for the rest of my life, it would probably be UFC or Hockey. They’re just fun to watch.
18. Do you collect anything? Animal figurines, when I can... There’s other things I’d like to collect, but I don’t have the space or money for them.
19. What’s something that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Hot Chocolate, Kittens, Puppies,
20. Do you play any instruments? Besides the basic recorder, my first instrument I’ve ever played was the French Horn. I don’t know why. After that it was the snare drum, which I enjoyed a lot more. I played a little bit of the drum set when I was in school too. But I really don’t play anything now. I’d like to play the drum set again some day, though.
21. What’s your favourite drink? Hot Chocolate is good for cooler days, but my other favourites are Cherry Dr. Pepper, Cherry Pepsi, Lemonade, and Raspberry flavored anything.
22. What’s your favourite holiday? Halloween. Christmas/Yule/Saturnalia/Winter Solstice is a very close second, but I get more excited for Halloween/Samhain than my own birthday, which is a month before it.
23. Do you have any hobbies? I used to do this thing called drawing. And this other thing... I think it was writing? Sadly, I don’t have time any more to do those things, being a parent and all...
24. Do you prefer day or night? Night. Forever. I hate the day time. Night is so much quieter.
25. Do you have any bad and/or anxious habits? I used to pick at my nails, then it was my eyebrows, for some reason. Right now, I’m picking at scabs on my scalp. I need to quit that.
26. What’s your favourite kind of fashion? IDK. I mostly dress in a t-shirt and jeans. If I had the money, I’d probably buy some badass gothic shit or modern versions of old-timey garb.
27. Do you believe in anything enough to fight for it? Physically? IDK. I’ve never fought anyone in my life. I mean, I’d rip the spines out of people’s backs if they mess with my kids or anyone I love, but to fight for an idea is different. I guess if it came down to people’s rights being taken away and shit, like if they were to cart my loved ones into a concentration camp, I’d be having something to “say”...
28. Do you have any obsessions? Frequently
29. How do you deal with stress? I don’t
30. Do you want children? I have 2

Say hello to Damian Bligh!
Say hello to Damian Bligh, Sales Manager at Move Revolution.
Damian has been part of the Move Revolution team for the past four years at our head office (covering Reigate to Oxted, Warlingham to Horley) – if you have moved in this area you will definitely have spoken to, or met Damian! We write these blogs so that you can get to know more about our team; who they are, how they work and what they love.  When starting to right this blog it is so easy to say Damian is ‘unbelievable lovely’, ‘a really kind and thoughtful person’ combined with being ‘incredibly diligent and an expert in this area’. However, this really doesn’t cut through how much Damian really cares about his work – and also what a great laugh he is as part of the head office team.
Don’t just take it from us… these are a few phrases written by our clients in their independent reviews about Damian, so you can get a clearer, unbiased picture!
“Damian is tenacious, incredibly knowledgeable and reliable. He went that extra mile. His advice was sound, well researched and delivered the results”
“Damian is truly exceptional at what he does”
“Damian is incredibly helpful”
“Damian is extremely pro-active and helpful”
“Damian is professional, personable, knowledgeable, honest, has integrity, non-pushy, yes I am describing an estate agent…. Damian’s a rare breed”
“Damian is polite, professional and prompt.”
“Damian is friendly, empathetic and understanding”
Have you fallen in love with Damian? (If we could insert an emoji into the blog it would be the one with the wink!) We should point out Damian is very happily married, for those of you who love these qualities in a man (!!)…. However, if you are thinking of moving, then just give our head office a call on 01737 888220.
Joking aside (as this blog was being written, the above paragraph was read out loud in the office, Damian laughed, saying that his wife would find this very funny!) Damian is a true professional and a joy to work with; alongside the whole Head office team, headed up by Louise Simpson, they are truly brilliant at what they do. If you are thinking of moving in the Reigate, Redhill, Caterham, Warlingham, Oxted, Horley area you would be sincerely missing out if you didn’t give the team a call – with their expert knowledge, the right price and all the qualities listed above you will be moving into your next home very quickly! (Call 01737 888220 and book a valuation today!)
Part of getting to know our team is learning a bit about what they love getting up to when they are not at work, as well as finding out what they love at work!
How did you end up living in Oxted and working at Move Revolution?
We decided to move to Oxted, due to a number of factors. We were living in West London and both worked up in town, so it was important to live in a location that provided good links to London Bridge and Victoria. We had friends that lived in Westerham and came across Oxted from visiting them and liked that it had a Waitrose, numerous restaurants and boutique shops. In the 5 years we have been in Oxted, there have been a number of changes, like the Everyman cinema changing from one screen to three, plus creating a new much needed bar for the town centre. A couple of nice new restaurants and pubs opening are always welcome. And the Beer festival is getting bigger and better every year!
I had been working in the City as an equity derivatives broker, and was looking for a change in direction (without a commute!) I had previously been involved in outbound sales and recruitment which have similar transferable skills, with a passion for property this led me to estate agency, and in particular Move Revolution, with it’s clear focus on expertise, integrity and professionalism.
What are the three most favourite houses you have ever sold?
Tandridge Priory – This has to be top of the list! Tandridge Priory is a beautiful historic building set in 24 acres of land and in my hometown of Oxted. The potential for this property is very exciting and I can see the new owners creating a stunning home.
Clavadel – This is an Arts & Crafts property (‘think’ parquet flooring, bay windows with intricate design, inspired by the ideas of architect Augustus Pugin, write John Ruskin and designer William Morris) Clavadel is a stunning family home.
Hartswood Manor – Wing of an Elizabethan Manor House in Reigate with wood panelling throughout and one of the oldest staircases in the county – I love the traditional features and uniqueness of this home.
What do you love doing (when you’ve not at work)?
I love being with Bumble! (Those of you who know me will know I have a one-year-old gorgeous little girl called Bea, hence the name nickname Bumble) Bumble, as you can imagine, takes up most of my time outside of work – we love going out to the park as a family – I especially love seeing Bumble laugh when she is being pushed on the swing!
My other ‘love’ couldn’t be more different than being the Dad of a one-year-old girl.  I really enjoy mixing house and techno, I’m a secret DJ who loves music and, I know you will laugh, this helps me feel younger and cooler than I am!! (Especially when I have only had a few hours sleep with a little one in the house!) If you love this type of music make sure you chat to me about this when we meet up!
How do you relax?
The addition of the Everyman cinema in Oxted has been fantastic.  My wife, Claire, and I, love going to the cinema.  It is a short stroll from our home in Oxted, which makes it really easy for a night out. Our favourite restaurant has to be the Thai Pad… add this to a brilliant film at Everyman, and that is the perfect way to relax at the end of a busy week.
What is your favourite day out?
I’ve realised that both my perfect days out involve alcohol! My perfect day out would either be Oxted Beer Festival – which has grown and grown over the past few years, a fantastic local event, everyone has such a great time, brilliant beer (obviously), great food and music. My real favourite though, would be to head up to West London where we used to live for a long boozy lunch at the great restaurants and bars around Portobello Road! (We can hop on the train in Oxted and be up in town 30 minutes later!)
What is your favourite walk?
Given its Autumn time, it would have to be Sheffield Park and Gardens – an amazing National Trust garden.  At this time of year the trees look amazing – I can highly recommend a visit with family and friends.
What are your favourite apps?(Damian is known as being gadget and app crazy, we couldn’t resist asking him for his recommendations!)
MoneyBox – A financial app that rounds up your everyday purchases like buying a coffee at £2.50, then rounds up to £3 and takes the extra 50p and invests it in to an ISA.
Curve Card – A single debit card that you can load every debit and credit card that you have, and then select which one to use via the app. Great to save space in your wallet!
Dark Sky – Coming in to the winter months this is a brilliant weather app, as it will send you a notification when it is about to rain and then stop again. Gets it spot on every time!
Stocard – Lets you store every loyalty card you have and allows you to scan the barcodes at the till via the app.
What advice would you give anyone thinking of selling their home?
Now is a great time to sell, as there are a lot of buyers out there looking for properties, but not enough stock to facilitate their needs. Using the correct strategy in a more challenging market such as this, is key, and we have successfully advised our clients what approach would work best in order to find them the right buyer and best price. I think this recent review sums up exactly how we work (big thank you to our client Bethan for this amazing review)
“We got 4 different companies to come give a valuation and Damian provided the most detailed comparison work, plus the most informed advice on the current local sales situation. Communication was excellent. Our house sold in a matter of days, and we laughed, as the ‘for sale’ board wasn’t even up. Compared to the agents we have used when viewing properties to buy, Move Revolution is in a different league, it’s slick. I’ve been verbally recommending them to anyone who will listen” Bethan F, Reigate
If you are thinking of selling your home please give us call on 0330 223 1000, as you have read we are 100% focused on selling your house for the best possible price, and moving you as quickly as possible into your dream home. Book a valuation today!

Cooler Weather Emoji Prompts
One final paper now stood between the Ultimate Princess and the winter holidays. Truly, Sonia was a bit sad to see them arrive so quickly: the duties her title held her to had always insisted she depart well before the rest of Class 77-B, missing out on the fabled holiday party and most of the traditional Christmas celebrations. Just once, she wanted to try the fried chicken so many spoke highly of, while watching the lights in the downtown area of Towa City.
Instead, she carried a stack of library books: dense tomes focused on economics reports in Europe for the past half-century as she was assigned to devise a mock plan to assign greater funds towards Novoselic orphanages while still ensuring the rest of the country ran flawlessly, anticipating the majority of possible pitfalls during a reorganization of the treasury and budget. It didn’t quite capture the holiday spirit, but Sonia carried a vain hope that if her ‘mock proposal’ scored well, her tutor might very well make sure it landed in the hands of her father, or even better, the Royal Council. That, at least, would encompass the season’s message of giving back and showing goodwill towards others. It would take several days of her cooped up in her dormitory, acting decidedly unprincesslike in loungewear and half-drunk cups of tea, books and notes strewn about her carpeted floor until, finally, she was able to click ‘save’ and ‘send.’ But it left her satisfied, if not energized, to devote part of the holiday season to staying indoors to complete such a meaningful assignment.
Tumblr media
Until Sonia felt something wet, something cold, pelt her right in the back of the head in the center of the Main Course courtyard.
The area was deserted, with most students choosing to stay warm inside their rooms or classrooms as they too prepared for their final assignments. Sonia shrieked, though she remained as still as she could. Still she shivered as icy, wet snow dripped from her blonde hair and into the back and hood of her pale blue, faux-fur lined coat, gathering in the collars of her brown jacket and white blouse. With her arms full of books and her school bag over her shoulder, she couldn’t wipe at the freezing assault that now ran down her back and chilled her from the inside out. But she did look right and left, before glancing over her shoulder: was it someone simply playing a prank?
“Who’s there!?” She called, still trying to smile through chattering teeth. “If this is an error or a joke, I promise I’m not angry! But it’s very c-cold, and we should wait until we are all properly attired if we are to have snowball fights in the courtyard.”

Cooler Weather Emoji Prompts
It was part of the quintessential Japanese experience. And while Sonia strived to embrace all aspects of the culture, this particular one she found difficult to fully enjoy. Sitting straight on her stool, she glanced from the steaming bowl of fresh ramen in front of her to the bamboo shades on either side of her counter space. Eating alone was both common and terribly stigmatized, or so she’d read, and thus the need for private dining had emerged for those eating alone. But for the Princess of Novoselic, dining alone in and of itself was a novelty. One she found thrilling a few years ago, with no one to dissuade her from reading a book or using her phone while dining. Now, it was simply lonely.
Sonia lightly gripped her lacquered chopsticks, reaching for the first bite of noodles and chashu pork. Yet despite how cozy the heat and scent of the broth was, she couldn’t bring herself to indulge. Instead she smiled hopefully, first looking left at the lowered shade and then the right, where a figure had taken the seat. The blonde exhaled in relief, a smile returning to her face. She hadn’t been allowed to sit at one of the few tables for groups, something she preferred if just to watch the world go by, but as a consolation prize, that particular restaurant did allow for the shades to be raised and lowered if diners wished to converse with those beside them.
Tumblr media
“It’s really quite freezing out there,” She spoke up, her tone bright and clear and devoid of any sort of meekness. A few of the other diners nearby grew rigid at the sound of her accented Japanese: even if conversations were allowed, that didn’t mean they were welcome. “Apparently it is the coldest night of the year thus far. So it is ideal for ramen.”
She had to at least try to ebb the silence that had settled around her, an unnerving presence she didn’t care for during mealtimes. It was possible, and mostly expected, that the newcomer would rebuff her entirely, ignoring her as just another foreigner unaccustomed to how things were done in Tokyo. But Sonia could at least say she made a conscious effort to make a friend.
