Searching for safety proved fruitless as arrows flew past them and bombs exploded close enough to ring in her ears, the sounds of swords clashing and shouts muffled in the distance. It was an all out war, one that they prayed they would win.

It wouldn't be easy when their only healer was down though.

"I fear we may have to retreat...." She whimpered through the pain, trying to follow his step and match his pace. The forked end of her trident dragged across the floor, her strength leaving her the longer they tried to trek across the chaos unnoticed. It had become progressively harder to hold onto the handle of her weapon, her head falling limp as her chin dipped down. Her fingers curled around the fabric on his sleeve, gripping tight as a subtle warning that she wasn't going to be able to hold on much longer. When she realized that she was beginning to lose consciousness, Amaron only had seconds to react.

"I--" Mipha had very little time to warn Amaron before her legs gave out completely and her world went black. The sound of her weapon clattered to the floor as she went limp beside him, the full weight of her body now leaning against her savior, as though she were unconsciously relying on him now.

It seems he would have to carry her after all.
