Saw a bird in my dream and I called it a cassowary but it was NOT one of those. I'll give myself a slide though because I was running up a mountain to save my computer from a burning building but it was SO off.

#luly talks #they were so cute tho one had a mohawk and it was wet and messy and was w a hyena i guess???#maybe just a dog #and there was also a sheep w a weird ambiguous dog headbutting it #a d another bird w an ambiguous long necked animal w curls #the scene where i was carried outside was wild btw everything went dark and they grabbed me and i kept trying to grab my pc #and i tugged on a cord and i might have ripped the keyboard or mouse but that's it #i was so upset too not only bc my puter but bc i was watching a movie they were making an evil guy in this big flamey oven w big screws and #levers before the movie had the plan go wrong and it sent fire into OUR cinema #my computer was the one from highschool btw and my mom and maybe step dad and younger sibling (in mention) were around #my grandpa was also there in the building firming letters and putting them in transparent envelopes w a $25 tag #which is so cute bc time accurate prizing. you used to see things for twenty pesos. it's true.#some guy was behind me showing another man too like this drawing he was gonna embroider for my little brother (hills and a house very dramat #ic composition) and these questions to answer (boxes y/n) and some other shit #there also was a cappuccino family i lied about being bc i needed in the place #they eventually got out normally

Still reviving my old flash animations, still not sorry, still have to work in thd morning and still overcaffeinated fight me!!.. please.. getting knocked out means I go to sleep..

This one actually only took like 30 mins at the time

I go out to Amtgard (local larp community) to swordfight, and 2 blade is probably my preferred style, other than spear, spear is just best weapon, point is I understood the motions going in

#dislocated my shoulder at amtgard a few months back #hadn't gone in a while cuz covid kinda shut it down and I moved onto other things #finally came back and did really well at first #won 9 straight fights in line ditching #completely exhausted I throw the one handed longsword equivalent of a haymaker and lever my shoulder right out its socket #land on my back and can't get up to dangle it back in #on my back for 40 minutes and EMTs won't pop it back in #they had to bring me to the hospital to do it there #ambulance hit every goddamn pothole #honestly probably traumatise my gf more than me #ive been hit by worse #one time an suv #story for another time #regained my mobility slowly over 6 weeks #physiotherapy works #went out again last weekish for the second first time in a while #didn't explode #progress #art #my art #flash animation #2d animation #animation #flash #sword #fruit ninja #fruit #ninja

This is why I never get anything written.

I legit just wasted prolly a half hour 1) trying to see if there are any named rivers in Wutai. There aren't but one of the major landmarks/maps are based off of a Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia.

So I go looking for rivers in that region to kinda....snag a vaguely authentic sounding river name and wiki is pretty much only listing the Yellow River and then I proceeded to go down a rabbit hole about the three different major linguistic names for that. Mainly I found the Tibetan and Mongolian versions of the name kinda which has different alphabets and what have you.

Long story short, it took me 30 minutes to come up with a probably throw-away river name in this fic. Though at this point I'm so invested in this river name I might have to incorporate it more fully into the fic.
