Alright, I know I "technically" already covered these two in an earlier ask awhile ago... buuuut as far as my updated thoughts are concerned, with S1 of Amazon's Hazbin concluded:

-Now, okay BEFORE the Cha*ggie fans get at me, hear me out! .w.;;

-Like, initially I did find Charlie & Vaggie an adorable lil pair from the initial Hazbin pilot: the tiny, grumpy protector gf (Vaggie) keeping her taller, goofball princess of a gf (Charlie) safe from harm-

Subtly supporting eachother through the aspiring dreams of the Hotel, esp as Vaggie often stays back to "man the fort" as Charlie takes care of other business (esp following into the main-released show)... but through the end of the upcoming Heaven conflicts in S1, working through those bumps in the road to strengthen their bond together 💜

...and yet, at the same time they just sadly dropped off a bit from my OTP-ranks as I kept watching... :( namely from the show keeping Vaggie more-or-less stuck in the "supportive love interest" role (literally all of her main/major musical moments being in-relation to loving & supporting Charlie... with even their later "lover's duet" being essentially borrowed from Charlie & her father's song? .x.;; ). Not to say its always bad to have a love interest-focused character, mind you... but if its to the point that's basically the entirety of spotlight we're gonna get from said character, it doesn't leave much story potential otherwise, y'know? 🤷‍♀️

-Which also leads me to this other point that I... really, reaaaaaally didn't like the whole "Vaggie is a former-exorcist angel" twist, in-relation to how much it threw a wrench into how her & Charlie's dynamic?? ._.

Like, Vaggie... my gal, whyyyyy would you NOT tell Charlie your secret, for all the literal years since you two have been together?? Sure, maybe if it was a case they had only just met/recently started dating, it'd be a different story... but the fact that Charlie spent SO long trying to make her redemption-Hotel dream a reality, confided in Vaggie (+the others) about her struggles w/ her dad Lucifer (aka: an angel), and was just overall such an open, loving & caring figure wanting to give everyone a chance... it just made me disappointed in Vaggie to be so untrusting of her own girlfriend 😔(+esp in letting Adam & Lute essentially walk all over her via-exposing that truth themselves... smh *sighs* 🤦‍♀️)

I could go on, but... yeaaaaah, that's basically about the gist of how I feel regarding Cha*ggie rn. Still a sweet pair on its own accord, and I'll always have my soft spot for it since their initial pilot debuts... but all-in-all, with Vaggie's stilted writing & other plot holes, they're just not a big OTP for me as of late 🤷‍♀️

Pardon for the lateness on this, got busy after the episode aired and then proceeded to write a fic using my achemy brainworms lmao. But here it is, the end of a terrific journey!

The permet stress really took its toll upon Suletta after her bout with Eri but that won't stop our girl from trying to save her family. So rough to see though.

Gotta say, besides Nika and Chuchu, Aliya is easily my fav Earth House kid. She's into divination, takes care of animals, and is just so chill

Surprise Surprise SAL are being cheeky assholes. They don't care what Delling/Benerit has to say since this is just a grasp for power on their behalf. They have all the cards atm with that WMD

For Mio to keep entreating Prospera is admirable on her part. She knows it might fall on deaf ears but she has to try for the sake of her future wife and hellish mother-in-law. But I guess they needed a newtype to overpower Eri even though it doesn't narratively make sense for 4 to be one. Ah well, in another world where Okouchi got the seasons he wanted ;-;. It was a nice send off nonetheless

Rainbow party permet is so cool, pride Gundam!! I wasn't too keen on Calibarn's design before, tho I love the broom, the rainbow really sells it for me. And that coven of gundams?? So cool. Schwarzette usage here, abysmal pilot, and wealth of unused symbolism stings a bit. They so clearly had an arc planned but had to cut it :/ I would love to see the initial draft before cuts were made

MIOMIO DISSOLVES BENERIT. Hell yeah. Had a feeling she would choose to go this route. Also, the stone cold way she stares down the barrel of a gun... Ma'am, my heart <3 The best peace princess ever

This hit me in the feels. Suletta forgiving her mother, Eri begging for all of them to be a family, and Prospera seeing the ghosts of Vanadis smiling at her lovingly. It was everything to me.

The soundless fake-out as Mio believes Suletta is dead was cruel and brilliant. The horror in her eyes that morphs into weepy happiness when Suletta awakens will stay with me for a long time. They even did the little gundam helmet bop again!

Shaddiq taking the fall for everything was good of him, but it feels a bit too neat haha (They had to wrap up loose threads hastily and it shows) He really is an interesting character that, in a longer run, could have been amazing

Surprise! Sulemio got happily married during the timeskip and now Mio has to suffer a keychain's negging. Super funny outcome but I hope Eri can move between devices or else that's a bit hellish

Mio stealing Shaddiq's highly trained girlsquad is amazing. Ain't no one getting to the president of GUND-ARM without a fight. This also opens up the possibility for more Sabanika, so excellent decision all around

THE RINGS!!!! Ahh any nitpicks are nothing compared to sheer happiness I feel when seeing them. They fought and suffered so hard for this ending and it was all worth it! Eri and Prospera sharing in their joy is the cherry on top~

This image is my fav. Suletta is such a special protagonist and her relationship with Miorine broke ground in a legacy franchise no less. They are in love! They married! And no one can take that from them. Thank you GWitch, I love you lots. This ride has been unforgettable from the beginning <3

Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 9

Oh no she's back...

Well... It's been a while, I should say. I haven't been making any Lazytown Shenanigans posts mostly because I haven't watched the show at all all this time, but now I'm kinda at it again (I don't know for how long tho, but still)

I've watched three episodes in these three days, but I would like to describe my impressions of only one of them: the "Purple Panther" one. I don't really feel like rambling about all of them, plus my current mental condition just doesn't allow me, so I hope you buddies understand me 😭

But the "Purple Panther" episode made a really good impression on me, so I can't help but talk about it at least a little bit. Ok well not a little bit, this post is going to be very long (and pretty emotional in some parts), so bear with me I guess :/

Ok well,

"Purple Panther."

The very first thing I'd like to point out is that for some reason it was in this episode that I first noticed the view of the town from above:

Compared to how empty the landscape seemed, for example, in the "Rockin' Robbie" episode, the surroundings here look pretty fascinating; I mean we can see a lot of things here, from numerous reservoirs to Robbie's lair. I legit want to live here

The next thing that kinda amused me, though it rather touched me, was that Sport rejoices in every little thing happening around. The sun came out from behind the clouds — he is happy and laughing. A rainbow appeared in the sky — he is happy and laughing. Be like him guys and enjoy every little thing in your life 🕺

The scene in which Ziggy visited Stingy also amused me a little bit; mostly because of their interaction and damn, the way Stingy said "gold" just sent me to another dimension (though I think it happened later after their meeting, but whatever I don't remember already). What was that "GUULD" buddy like 😭

Also this painting on his wall seemed kinda creepy to me (not creepier than Ziggy's face on this frame but whatever 💀):

Who's that odd man? Why is his image hanging on Stingy's wall? Could it be that this is an image of his father? Because as far as I remember his father is rich, and there are bags of money around the man in the painting. I'm overthinking things too much again

I was a little confused by the lack of a museum in the town to be honest. Like this little bunch of kids had to arrange everything themselves, and yet they didn't have a museum all this time before this event. What was Milford thinking? As mayor he had to make sure that there was something remarkable in the city bruh. He was too busy simping for Bessie apparently

Since I mentioned Bessie, I remembered one minor scene that kinda... surprised me at first?? When she brought her very first telephone and started dialing a phone number on it she started with 555, and I honestly thought that she's going to call Robbie because his phone number starts with 555 😭

Holy smokes I didn't really want to inject any negativity into this post (because I have enough of it in real life atm), but Stingy stunned me a little in a bad way: the bro climbed the stairs to pick up the town clock, of course for personal reasons, fucked up with his "mission," then he was saved by Sport and after all this sloppiness HE ASKED HIM TO GIVE HIM THE CRYSTAL? THE BRO GOT TOO IMPUDENT LIKE WHAT THE HECK-

But that's not all; why in the world did Sport actually give him the crystal.. My boy, this beeping thing on your chest is warning you of people in danger, and that goofster has already had a bad experience with your crystal and like... life doesn't teach you anything huh? I can't blame him because he's sweetly silly and naive, but considering that the person he entrusted his crystal to is Stingy, I don't quite understand why he did it so easily. Even if that was for the sake of the museum.

A couple of words about ROBBIE MY GOOFSTER I haven't rambled about him for so long.. The bro was watching sports elves as usual, even when all the interesting actions were over, but yeah, we cannot blame him for that ok? I like how he sees an opportunity to dedicate his day to Sport and kids in every event that happens outside. The true simp acquires his regalia for a reason /j

Now let's talk about the actions in the museum. I quite liked the paintings and exhibitions there, although some of them looked kind of creepy, like this one:

But I have something to say about good-looking things. I think glasses suit Milford:

I mean if they had left the glasses as his permanent accessory, he would've looked a lot more mayorish (this isn't even a word but WHO CARES, you know what I mean) than he was originally. And Bessie looks like my grandmother when she was younger, and it makes me feel a certain type of joy 🥹

Not far away from the topic of the mayor, I did not fucking expect that that bronze statue of Milford was not a statue at all but GODDAMN ROBBIE IN DISGUISE. I always thought like haha, stupid Lazytown citizens, they're so easy to fool just by dressing up as another person, but this time this goofster was able to trick even me that's it 😭

From that moment on I completely forgot to take any screenshots because what happened next legit short-circuited my brain

That scene. That scene. In which Robbie tries to steal the crystal. My brothers and sisters in Christ, my vocabulary is not enough to describe my delight when I watched all these manipulations. I feel like I'm about to blow up because WHAT HAHNDNEJEJEKWKWK HOLY SMOKES THAT WAS SOMETHHIIIIIING IT SCRATCHED MY BRAIN IN THE RIGHT PLACE

I DIDN'T FUCKING KNOW THAT HE COULD MOVE LIKE THAT. BRO IS SUPER LAZY BUT HE MOVES LIKE A SNAKE HEHEHHEHEHEHH I'M SO GIDDY SORRY I'M AN INADEQUATE PERSON

But that's not all oh noooo no no. First of all, he ohoohho kissed the crystal when he finally got it. The crystal, which is a part of Sport. No I'm not overthinking things again, you're just imagining it. /j /silly

Second of all, his second disguise was so silly at first, but when he began to talk it sent me to another dimension AGAIN. French accent. Wow huh I- ummm.. it made me feel a certain way — giddy again I suppose, because I was smiling like an idiot every time he said something. I just genuinely love it when he imitates all sorts of accents, like French, Scottish, or Russian (when he says "brilliant" with that rolling "r" my brain starts buzzing heehee 🥰)

I'm pretty sure this is one of my absolutely favorite disguises of his from now, his silly moustache just won my heart ngl

Damn I really sound like I'm a crazy goof but whatever. It's not like someone reads it till the end so I can probably say whatever I want lmaoo

Ok I really need to get a more constructive kind of narrative again, I really probably sound like a freak. I was somehow surprised that Robbie started jumping rope on his own will, justifying it by saying that he thinks better that way. Hmmm ok ok mister, we, of course, will believe it. I just really didn't understand why he started doing it, except that he probably needed to ruin the exhibits in some way lol

Without going far away from the topic of my favorite sillies, it was somehow hard for me to watch how difficult it was for Sport to grab an apple. My boy struggled so intensely that he even gave up a couple of times... Don't get me wrong, I really like Robbie and his goofiness, but all those mean things that he does to Sport make me feel kinda sick sometimes. Poor Sport doesn't deserve any of this shit; the boy's too sweet too kind too nice to be tortured :(

I'll probably omit all the other details about the chase scene because this post is already too long, but I want to point out one thing from the final scene.

Sport forgave Stingy and said that 'it's alright to make mistakes as long as you learn from them,' and it clearly was directed towards Stingy, but dear... It was, uh, your own fault to give the crystal to Stingy in the first place because such a situation already happened in the past, and you very obviously haven't learned a lesson from it. Stingy has some blame on him, of course, but Sport is an adult man and he should've realized that if he gave away his crystal it wouldn't end well. So he was the one who made a mistake imo..

Well, that's kinda it. This post came out long and in some parts inadequate again, as usual, so I doubt that someone will read it till the end. But if someone did, thank you heehee :33

Here's my set up!

In England most ppl do use roll ups. U tend to find that ppl who only smoke straights (pre rolled) are older ppl, ppl who have more money and ppl who don't smoke often enuff to bother. A packet of straights can last a really long time and will keep better than a packet of baccy (loose tobacco) as there's less to dry out.

I use a rolling tin because i cant roll freehand for shit no matter what (and im a handy person, its just too fiddly for me), it's easier to do while walking and i have physical difficulties. It's rare that i see anyone else use a tin, i only started because my bff did! It's not uncommon for ppl to use a rolling machine tho, which is like a tin that's been reduced to just the liner and..rolling pins?

Tins are no more expensive than a good rolling machine and tend to last longer. I prefer to change the liner when it dies rather than but a new one tho. They can be annoying to clean if u care about that but they're useful in that they can hold ur supplies! And put stickers on :3

A packet of tobacco is usually about 30g for £12-17 (tho average is about £14) now from a regular supermarket. It did used to be less before the recent inflation :( a 20 pack of pre rolls is about the same price. To give u an idea of how much more cost effective roll ups are than straights; a 20 pack currently would last me 2-4 days (IV had to cut down coz i have no money lol but this is numbers only, not counting factors like poverty) and 30gs of baccy would last me 2-3 weeks.

It's still common to see empty cigarette packets littering places and u will occasionally see a tobacco packet. They're all decorated now with warnings and warning images due to the law, all packets. They have different warnings and related pictures they get used but I'm not sure how often new ones are added? This one is my favourite atm for sure:

It's also useful to at least have the ability and resources to make a roll up if ur ever desperate/smoke drugs. Old fags on the floor can be picked up and u can squeeze any unsmoked baccy out into a bag to use for a Frankenstein roll up. I tend to find certain brands of straight cigarettes only get half smoked ?? Very good pickings if ur bottom of the food chain.

Its also easier to roll a spliff if u can...roll lol (spliff as i know it to be is a regular fag sized roll up with a blend of baccy and weed) and any other combo of smoking materials (other drugs, herbs etc).

On community culture (i promise this is the last bit), rolling sumone a fag is way more intimate and thotful than just handing em a straight (tho depending on ur Poverty Status™ it may be difficult to accept a straight due to their higher value). There's also the act of passing on the rest of ur fag to another person, usually towards the end of its life. Here that's called, 'twos'. So itd be, 'can i have 2s?' or, 'u can have 2s if u want?' which is a fun word for it i think!

Sorry to ramble but i figured ud be interested and i enjoy teaching ppl about menial things like this lol

It's funny to me still how the demographic for rolling cigs here is usually the polar opposite lol, it seems its always people who are a lot older who enjoy rolling them up more than just buying a pack of straight cigs.

Don't think I didn't see your tags about Miko's Azem. I need to know all about them! Do you have a name for them? What kind of personality do they have? How do they get along with Hades, Hythlodaeus, Venat, Hermes, Themis, et al. How would they get along with Miko and how are they similar and how are they different?

Oh geeze the cats out of the bag, I do have an azem concept for Miko xD his name is Dionysus! Or Dio for short to his friends. I see him being a pretty energetic guy who strives to live for excitement and fun and just loves being around people. You'd just rarely find him alone or not busy with something.

Im gonna put the rest under a break just in case I get carried away here lol

So basically he's a super cheery and approachable guy but he is definitely someone you wouldn't want to get on his bad side. He has a habit of coming up with unorthodox ideas and if someone decides to hurt him or someone he cares about he will take joy in making them suffer lol but he's usually a sweetheart otherwise! But yeah just he's got of a bit of a deranged quirk to him like I mentioned about the butterfly concepts in those tags you clearly saw xD but most of the time it's harmless ideas. For example he'd probably ask if he could give a caterpillar concept two heads, and when asked why he'd even want to do that he'd reply with something like "so it wouldn't feel lonely 🥺". And just in general I kinda see him being a little creature at times like there's no doubt Hades has had to pluck a few leaves or twigs out of his hair before they go into a meeting. Boy is a free spirit lol

As for relationships he is closest to hythlodaeus. I feel like during the whole final days stuff when he learns of hyth's sacrifice it was most likely the final straw to break him. Just based on canon tho he'd of course also be friends with Hades. He'd take immeasurable joy in pestering him lol but he'd know the limit and only push his buttons on a good day. Themis would be like a little brother to him and possibly an awful influence in most of the other convocation member's eyes lol as for Venat he would've definitely looked up to her as a mentor and since she was a kindred spirit when it came to relations with the people and exploring he felt extremely comfortable with her. He'd always talk her ear off about his wild ideas or things he'd see/experience on his travels. Im not sure if he'd have ever had a deeper relationship with hermes tho beyond just "this is a guy I work with and he seems sad so im gonna chat him up when I see him, maybe show him a cool bird concept ive been cooking up. He seems to like birds." Lol

I do have this idea, or theory I guess, that venat told azem about the whole future stuff with hydaelyn and zodiark and the final days at some point. And this would've been devastating for him to learn and hard to accept and why he left the convocation and everything behind. He'd have been angry having to sit aside and let fate play out as it must so I think that really strained his relationship with Venat and of course Hades. I could go on deeper about all that probably but idk how atm lol but it does play into how I feel like he'd feel about miko.

Like if they were to meet i feel like there would be a deep sadness and resentment for miko. Dio would just take one look at him and wonder "why you?". But there'd also be respect. That something so small, just a piece of himself, could continue on and accomplish all that miko has. And to witness all the love and compassion and hope and courage in this little shard would eventually sway him and Dio would come to love miko, not as a piece of himself but as his own person. Ngl I'd love an azem vs wol battle to test their worth or something xD I feel like thatd be fun. But yeah I mean there are small similarities between them if one knew where to look. They both have that joyous nature and are good with people. Their ability with song. Dio is just more unhinged than Miko is in like Miko doesn't take joy in fighting or hurting others even if they've wronged him and he's more chill than Dio is in general I think lol if that all makes sense.

Also im gonna be bold and share a basic concept doodle I did of him just cuz I needed to get an idea out of what he'd even kinda look like. So this is all subject to change but I do see him at least having long hair with this color and silver eyes.

Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night Ep 3

that was a really good ep, helps that I can relate to kiui a lot more than the other 3 too. tomita miyu did a great job as her and the direction was really good too. I saw the "twist" coming early in the episode and when they explained the story for the play I figured where it was going but it was still very well executed. now that the main cast has been assembled I'll be looking forward to what shenanigans they get up to

also a good ep, think I liked it more than 1 despite a couple awkward bits that were better in the manga like the window opening. which speaking of opening the op sucks ass holy, I wasn't a fan of the ed in the previous ep but I was like "well it's just generic radio pop it's not that bad" but they really goofed it with the op huh. they're clearly desperate to make this a hit in the west considering how popular the manga is over here too but getting mainstream artists to do your op/ed isn't gonna help. I mean look at mashle, s2 was a lot more popular and even the manga sales got a huge boost cause of how much people liked the op. shoulda went with something catchier like that instead but whatever but anyway, I also really liked the shinomiya scenes, she's one of my favourites so it was fun seeing her in action. looking forward to her getting more scenes next ep and showing off

one of the best eps so far, to me, we even got some sakuga crumbs. from when the designs originally leaked yuki had my favourite design by far and her being a cat girl was good too. she's also the only one so far to commit violence which is exactly what I was hoping for. she'll probably stop it in the future cause of the other cures but I'll cherish it while I can. it's kinda weird that they made her blonde in the human form but I guess it's so the transformed and human form don't have the same hair colour. I love her voice tho, not really seen her in any roles except hoshi syoko from imas but that's a good one. she was also beryberie in the previous precure season so it's a pretty big upgrade to go from a side chara to a main cure, good for her. but yeah, I figured from the start yuki/nyammy would be my favourite and seeing her in action now solidified that idea even more, I'll be looking forward to seeing more of her in the coming eps

Kyokuto Necromance Ch1

this new series is by naba fusai who did aliens area a couple years ago. gave that a 4 in the end but it wasn't a terrible manga by any means. this one felt a lot better tho, you can really tell the author leveled up a lot since the previous series ended, the art is a lot sharper and easy to read. the chapter itself was pretty similar to the aliens area one but more engaging. they did a good job setting up the basic premise and giving a decent understanding how stuff works anyway, the powers system is similar to stands so that's cool, it's fun to see other people's take on araki's baby. we're gonna have to see with the next few chaps but just from chap 1 I think this could survive for a good while

Shadow Eliminators Ch19 (Finale)

Despite the 3 score I don't got much to say about this. Unlike something like ichigoki or ichinose fam which were REALLY bad so I had a lot to talk about, or something like aliens area or super smartphone which weren't completely terrible cause they had some neat ideas, I basically have nothing to say about this. The art and designs are REALLY good as easily the best part about this manga but everything else about it was pretty generic and forgettable. I would give this author another chance but they would have to spend a lot of time cooking to come up with something more compelling than this. They would probably be better off and teaming up with someone else and letting them do the story while they do the art cause, again, that was really really good and significantly better than the average series we get better luck next time mr kento, may you avoid the U19 club

Ok so my thoughts of chapter 14… 

Jin: Yo I know y/n be jelly but I’m glad y/n was able to put her jealously aside bc if I was in Jins place I’d be worried and SO HAPPY that my bf is alive. That being said feelings are feelings and they’re hard to control. OMG WHEN Y/N SHOWED PICTURES OF ALL THE BOYS AND HANNA SAID HES HANDSOME AND SHES LIKE YEAH ALL MY BOYS ARE HANDSOME LIKE OMG. And the way Jin looked at her after she said that omg Y/n ur giving urself away! But also like who wouldn’t want to gush over them!?? And then later when he scents her OMG THAT SCENE WAS WILD JIN WAS SO BOLD. And he was like I wanna get Hannah’s scent off u bc I already gotta share you OMG Y/N U DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY GIRLIE POP. I understand why Hannah said to be carful with Jins heart bc he’s been hurt so many times and I wonder how he took with finding out y/n and yoongi have been sneaking around 🥺.  

Yoongi- This man is such a menace to society LITERALLY I CANNOT- the teasing looks and flirty glances! Oh and you KNOW HE LOOOVES shoving it in all their faces that he’s with her. Poor Tae tho, yoongi she loves ALL of them u know this! I guess maybe he just doesn’t wanna let go of this small moment of her being JUST his and he is quiet a possessive boi but they all are and I can’t wait to see all their moments of jealousy! Yo that sec scene was WILD holy moly! We got to see yoongi a pov a bit during the sex scene and hearing more of how much he loves her is so sweet 🥹 I’m glad they finally had that moment and he taking care of her and then cuddling eeeek. OMG NOT THEM KISSING IN THE KITCHEN AND GETTING CAUGHT- he stood by her side and supported her and I’m sure it was super overwhelming for y/n so I’m proud she was able to speak part of the truth, she she loves yoongi (but didn’t say she loves all of them bc that would be awkward not the right timing). AHHH THE DOMESTIC BLISS IM GLAD THEIR TOGETHER AND HAPPY NOW! 

Joon- He doesn’t wanna see or make her angry again which is why he’s very cool and calm abt her decision. He’s matured a lot and deep down it does really bother him, but he doesn’t wanna ruin things for her which is why he tried to act chill. OMG NOT HIM SUSING YOONGI AND Y/N OUT LIKE HE KNEW FOR WEEEKS OMG- AND THEY MADE BETS HOLY SHIT- I love joon and jk omg their banter is so much fun lol. OMG THE CHOCKER HER GAVE HER FOR CHRISTMAS WAS SO CUTE I MELTED INTO MY FLOOR BOARDS!! I feel like that was his way of showing his feelings for her tho- like Jimin said. Joon never hated her just his situation and werewolves mate for life so like… COULD IT BE TO MARK HIS TERRITORY IN A WAY. Maybe he just doesn’t understand his feelings yet bc he was isolated in his trailer just trying to survive for who knows how long. 

Hobi- his concern for y/n and yoongi’s relationship before and now finding out what’s been going on :0 He wasn’t expecting it AT ALL and I feel bad :,( he was shocked and yet he was able to roll it off afterwards for the most part bc I feel like that’s a defense mechanism for him since he’s been in uncomfortable situations. In all honestly I would love to get more in hobi’s Pov because I find him to be more mysterious than jk. Jk tries not to be obvious but is, he just likes to hide his emotions and I think a part of him does not really care atm bc she hasn’t grown on him in that way yet. With hobi tho her and him have similar personalities and bc they mesh so well I feel like finding out abt her and yoongi was like an ice bucket thrown over him. I dunno how what to say to his reaction ig hmm 🤔 he always bounces back and I can’t wait for the moment when we learn more about his past maybe specific points that made him who he is? I would love to know more about their pasts! When I ask this I don’t wanna pressure you (lol that sounds like such a lie but I do mean it 🥺), but when do u think the prologues for each member will come out? Do you think it would be better to wait until trouvallie has further progressed to not give too much away?

Jinnie: AH I'm such a jealous gal and I'm proud of Y/N being able to rein in her envy during the lunch with Seokjin, Hannah, and Sarah. She cares so much about Seokjin, I think the idea of cutting his communication with Hannah off outweighs her jealousy. AH Hannah thinking Joon is cute from the pictures like yeah girl 💀 OOF the scenting scene was steamy, he was showing his ass a little bit. Seokjin is definitely into Y/N, and I think when he was trying to get Hannah's scent off of her, it was a subtle clue that he's fallen in love with her, rather than holding onto old feelings for Hannah. heehe!! I have more to say about Jin's past and his patterns of heartbreak, but thats for future chapters (and his eventual prequel!) He seems pretty disappointed about the news of Y/N and Yoongi. I wonder how he'll end up with Y/N, himself (said evilly) 👹

Yoongiiii: MENACE is correct!! He's milking the ability to kiss her in front of them and enjoying their jealousy or weirdness about it for sure. Additionally, I think you're right-- he's probably soaking in the amount of time he has her just to himself. Yoongi is def one of the more possessive of the bunch so far, but a few of the others will have that streak in the future, too. 😉 EEEE the wild ass sex they had... I've been waitingggg to write some steamy scenes for a YEAR jdkalfdj so I got a little overexcited ah. I liked writing a bit of Yoongi's POV, too, and I think I'm going to do much much more of that in the rest of the chapters. Getting insight through their eyes now that we're further along in the story I think makes sense! The aftercare scene was important for me, too. I love when Yoongi gets all tender and mushy for her 🥺 Them getting caught.... at least it finally forced Y/N to be honest about her relationship status with Yoongi. He's very supportive of her and I think it was him standing beside her during that situation helped her to be brave. AH I love them so much they're really so in love 😭

Joonie: I agree with you, Joon has done a lot of maturing in the months he has spent living with Y/N. She's become someone important to him, and he saw how much he hurt her when he fought with Tae... I don't think he wants to provoke those feelings from her ever again. I've said in a previous ask that Joon isn't so much concerned with romance at the moment, and is more interested in pursuing his interests (paranormal, occult, cryptids, UFOs...) But we'll see how he falls in love slowly, over time, and I think it will be delicious 😋 Joon's perceptivity is KEEN dude! Not much gets by him, and he's super territorial and protective, so he keeps close watch over Y/N (who is oblivious to that). Joon and JK's interactions are some of my favorites to write!! As for the choker, that was self-indulgent of me.... my dream gift from Namjoon. I also agree with your thought that it is a sort of "mark of territory" or some kind of mark of approval of her. AH! Jimin WAS right, Joon never hated her, he just has high expectations and struggles with regulating his emotions. I love him.

Hoseok: Foxy is giving best friend to Y/N. He knew that her and Yoongi were on the outs, and doesn't like seen Y/N upset. He's the resident clever fox, so I think the shock that he wasn't able to figure out her and Yoongi's secret relationship was a tad overwhelming. He's kind of like Joon, not overly concerned with romance at the moment, and more interested in letting loose and having the freedom to do what he pleases for the first time. He's always the one to break awkward tension, and he and Y/N have an easygoing friendship with their similar personalities. He does seem mysterious, as he isn't quick to give out personal information or details of his past, but there is a lot beneath the surface for Hoseok that is yet to be revealed. I can't wait to tell you all more about our Foxy 🦊

AH the prologues! I had planned on having at least one of them out by now, but that's not how the cookie crumbled LOL. I plan on having them being like BEHEMOTHS like 50k each, and at the moment, all of my time is devoted to the main story chapters... I think I'll end up releasing them later than I thought, and I'd probably do it like one month is a main story chapter, the next is a prologue and the main story is put on pause. I agree, I think that releasing certain prologues would give a lot away (such as Hoseok's and Seokjin's) so I think they'll be a little ways off.... BUT I'm excited to write them bestie!

Didn't even seem that long ago since "Full Moon" came out so I didn't expect another ep drop this morning, buuuut welp! Lets discuss:

First off just to smoothen things up a bit, The Positives:

-Animation & visuals were quite pretty, and wasn't expecting the whole "spooky Halloween" aesthetic at Verosika's party (tho that may just be the summer season speaking lol) but hey, I kinda dig it~ 👀

-Verosika in-general, I was super stoked to see more of here! 💜and even with her staying pretty sassy/bitter towards Blitz... its honestly hard not to feel for her once she & him finally had that one-on-one convo (even revealing that she did legit love him... but Blitz simply couldn't stay with her due to his own commitment/intimacy issues ;-; ). And even if it was technically more of a pettiness move to theme her party around hating Blitz... in a way, its lowkey kinda sweet how much she wanted to help others "heal" from heartbreak? Aww... 🥺 Idk, do I still wish Verosika could've been more of the "major" character focus here (as Fizzarolli was in his past couple eps)? Absolutely. But for what its worth... I had fun watching her as I did💗 (& hopefully this won't be the last time Verosika appears story-wise, cause oml imagine the bonding potential of her, Blitz & Fizz as a reunited trio lol)

-That one incubus dude that flirted with Stolas (+kissed him) at the end seemed like a chill dude. Even if he most likely won't appear again, his vibe was fun to watch lol.

-OH, we finally get to see Mrs. Mayberry again, sweet~! :> ...and, she's apparently dating Martha now? Huh, thats... interesting, I guess? .3. (*wonder what happened to her husband/kids tho, 'cause I kiiiinda thought they would've landed in Hell too ngl-*)

-I... guess I'm not super alone in this opinion rn from what I've read from other fans, buuuuut... Stolas can you shut your entitled-hypocrite-mouth up for five minutes, please?? 🤦‍♀️Like, I know the dude's still reeling from how "Full Moon" ended, so him being in a mixed mood is to be expected tbh... but omllllll the way he was just SO smug, dramatic and pushy about being the "good guy" in how he & Blitz ended (-as if HE wasn't the one who set up their whole "transactional" dynamic since the start of the freakin' show?? =_=), even whining about the events of "Western Energy" (-when all Blitz was doing was prioritizing his daughter's well-being at the hospital, like a good dad should), was just... seriously?? >> Like... yes, Blitz may be a whole mess himself with how he's treated others (esp poor Verosika 💔), but that does NOT make Stolas a saint with how he handled things himself. From hanging the Grimoire over Blitz's head, creeping on him again & again, practically ragdoll-ing the poor guy's feelings during the crystal exchange (not even skipping a bit when Blitz was close to crying), aaaaand not to mention...

...so like, tell me how I'm expected to believe Blitz is the one who needs to do all this apologizing/groveling... WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO STOLAS EXCEPT (RIGHTFULLY) CALLING THIS BLUEBLOOD BIRD OUT ON HIS BS?? 😑

-As much as I get what the ep was trying to do in having Blitz see past his own ego/apologize to others… Iiiiii'd be lying if I said I didn't feel just a tad bit uncomfortable at the increasing Blitz hate, throughout the party-sequence ^^; Like, I know he's a shitty guy who's done shitty things, and absolutely he needs to recognize how much he's hurt those like Verosika (& his other exes)… buuuuut tying into my previous point, it just rings rather unfair that most of this seems mostly spurned from him rejecting Stolas, of all people? ._. When… again, they were NEVER an actual couple like him & Verosika were, instead were just a simple once-a-month hookup deal that soured 'cause of Stolas' mess of a "confession"… y'all really expect me to believe Blitz is the bad guy for not immediately accepting the "feefee's" of a privileged, horny prince (aka: the one who did hold the Grimoire over his head since S1's "Murder Family")? …Ehhhh, sorry but I am NOT buying that crap lmao -x- 👎

morocco v south africa rant

amallah, ounahi and amrabat were sorely missed today.

its time to bring bilal and abde^2 back up because lord knows we need the depth.

raihani would do a good job fulfilling ounahi's role and keep that moroccan tiki taka thing going on with ziyech.

abde is a fantastic winger that is very reminiscent of what boufal usually does, albeit a bit raw. he would have been valuable today and against cabo verde imo. i think he would link up well with en-neysri because they both thrive in chaos and are wonderful at putting pressure on the opposing defences. perhaps abde is better suited to a super-sub than a starter for now tho. i hope his time at barca transforms him into a starter because a full 90 minutes of his playing style (with the barca refinement) would really bring some energy to the attack and take a little bit of pressure off boufal. the same for sabiri but i would argue he would work as a starting player already.

bilal is very young and a very raw talent but he's proven his quality on the national team plenty of times so i see no problem in having him start games. he's clearly miles ahead of today's midfield.

as for the amrabat situation, i genuinely don't know if its even possible for anyone else to fill his role. to the point where i wonder whether its worth even looking. the easiest course of action would be to simply figure out a different system for when he can't play. which is probably best anyway for longevity.

zakaria and anass r good players. they've shown their level in their respective clubs throughout the season but they lack the confidence to deliver those performances for the national team. i think they should remain as subs and if they are to start, it should be for games like today that don't put any kind of tournament at risk. they'll grow into monsters for the team eventually.

defensively, i would say that they're near flawless. aguerd and saiss top notch as always. attiyat allah and the other one do well in terms of pushing forward. mazraoui is usually fantastic so i will put today down to post-season fatigue and also wager a guess that he would have improved if he'd stayed on a bit longer. el yamiq and dari and fantastic as subs or even starters for when aguerd and saiss arent available. chadi riad will eventually be ready too.

munir didn't have a great game today but thats kinda the nature of goalkeeping. he has a plethora of outstanding performances to comfortably call today a fluke. bounou has had those days too. not worth worrying about the goalkeeping because it genuinely doesn't get better than those 2.

this team is far from perfect or invincible but most teams are in that position atm. i would actually argue that morocco is in a much better position than most national teams because they have an incredibly strong, clear starting lineup. that starting lineup from the brazil match is undoubtably the ideal going forward. today proved that and also showed everyone which players should be kept on the squad should anything happen to that starting XI. we know which players are currently best fitted for the starting XI and the subs. a lot of today's starters have some work to do before they come back. hopefully they can improve at their clubs or international friendlies and come back a lot stronger.

in conclusion, it'll all be fine. deadass, theres nothing to worry about. we would rather come to these conclusions now than during the knockouts. its good that different players got a chance because its clear what works and what doesn't moving forward.

Current book stack: I’m finally reading “Rule of Wolves” by Leigh Bardugo. It’s been good so far, though it’s been so long I’ve forgotten little bits of “King of Scars”, but I remember enough for it not to be too big of a deal. Other than that, I’ve just gotten into the manga Spy x Family, so I have to find volume 2 of that, as well as the next Black Butler volume.

Last film: I’ve actually been watching the Indiana Jones movies for the first time, so the last one I watched was just the Crystal Skull one. They’re fun, so I see why they’re popular. I mean, I always enjoy adventure movies and I was always into the Tomb Raider games, so I figured I’d enjoy these movies. Also, I found out that the monkey in the first movie was voiced by Frank Welker, who also voiced Abu in Aladdin, which made me laugh, and wonder if Disney was making reference to that movie.

Last show: I’ve been binge watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. It’s a ton of fun, though it has made me teary-eyed a few times. Love the music! I’m always a sucker for a musical comedy. It reminds me of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, in terms of the whole “people breaking out into musical numbers in the mc’s head to solve problems” sort of way (tho obviously CEG came first).

Current obsession: Hmmm…. I tend to have multiple at once, but I guess I’m really more focused on Stranger Things/Steddie atm.

You were working at the hospitable doing your runs waiting till your break would hit, for the past week you haven't seen nor ran into the new doctor, you let out a sigh wondering if he still even worked here. You looked over at the clock which was on the wall, staring at it waiting for it to hit noon. A minute later the two hands lined up together indicating it was noon meaning you can go on your break. You grabbed your bag before leaving for the hospital's cafeteria. When you arrived you sat down at a table grabbing your lunch which your brother happily made for you, you decided to review some papers as you ate so you picked up the papers out of your back opening them up but when you did you saw a random number written down which you just remembered was the doctors number, you blushed a bit at the thought of having his number so you took out your phone hesitating a bit before adding his number to your contacts as you send him a message.

(Y/N): Hello? Is this Doctor Julian Devorak?

Julian: it may or may not be. Depends on who's asking..

(Y/N): It's Nurse (Y/N) we met last week.

Julian: Ah! Yes! I remember you! How have you been!

(Y/N): I've been great, I'm on my break atm but I haven't seen you around lately..

Julian: Ah.. My apologies.. My sister grew ill and needed my full attention..

(Y/N): Oh no! I hope she gets better soon..

Julian: Ty I hope she does as well.. As soon as she is better then I'll be at work, why tho? Were you worried about me?

(Y/N): No..

Julian: Hahaha! You definitely were! I may not be able to see you but I can tell by how you text that you were worried. That's sweet.

(Y/N): Well if one of my coworkers didn't show up to work for a week, of course I'd be worried..

Julian: Well thank you for worrying.

(Y/N): My break is almost over.. I'll be heading off soon.. But I hope your sister gets better, I truly do..

Julian: Breaks at the hospital never last very long.. But maybe next time we can talk more than 30 minutes

(Y/N): Agreed! Gtg but I'll hopefully talk to you later!

Julian: Indeed! Now go before the boss gets upset that your break is lasting more than 30 minutes lol

You were in your room with a broken leg which your brother helped cast it up. How did you break your leg you wonder, well yesterday after work someone tripped you causing you to tumble down the stairs of the restaurant causing you to land on your leg breaking it, so today you were stuck in your room absolutely board out of your mind especially since your brother refused to let you leave the house let alone your room till your leg is fully healed. You groaned, stretching causing the sleeve of your right arm to fall down revealing writing, you were confused at first till you remembered a man from the restaurant you worked at wrote his number on your arm, you furrowed your eyes thinking whether you should text him or not. You picked up your phone before quickly sending him a quick message, with you being bored out of your mind you would do anything to not be bored.

(Y/N): Hello..

Lucio: Hmmm... Now who may this be? Not that i'm complaining, who ever you are could be hot~

(Y/N): I already regret this..

Lucio: Harsh, but understandable most of the women/men I give my number to don't text me.. So now I'm curious about who you are.

(Y/N): (Y/N).. We met a few days ago at the restaurant..

Lucio: Oh! The hot waitress! I remember you quite well. Speaking of which, I didn't see you at the restaurant today.. Did you quit? Or were you fired?

(Y/N): None of the above.. Yesterday someone tripped me as I was leaving the restaurant and well... I ended up breaking my leg..  It pays off when my brother is a doctor.

Lucio: ...... Who tripped you, I'll have them regret it.

(Y/N): Why do you care.. I'm only one person..

Lucio: A very hot person. And the only person who texted me when receiving my number.

(Y/N): Well for your information I only did it because I was bored..

Lucio: Still. Plus I can tell you have a kind heart~ I should stop by sometime and sign your cast~ Oh! That's a great idea! Sit tight (Y/N)! I'm heading to your house!

(Y/N): Lucio! No! I don't think that's a great idea! Especially when my grandmother is home.. She'll hit you with her wooden spoon like she does with my brother! So maybe coming here isn't such a good idea.. Plus you don't know where I live.

You were laying in bed as your brother was laying in the bed across from you, the two of you were talking till Muriel came up into the conversation, Asra kept asking you how your alone time with Muriel went which caused you to throw your pillow at him causing him to laugh. You remembered that Muriel had given you his number, so you took the paper out along with your phone, typing the number into your contacts. You looked back at Asra who was now asleep causing you to giggle before sending a message.

(Y/N): Hello Muriel! It's (Y/N).

Muriel: ...... Hello..

(Y/N): I see you're shy even through text..

Muriel: Is that wrong...

(Y/N): No no! I think it's cute.

Muriel: (*/ω＼)

(Y/N): X3 see! You've proven my point.

Muriel: W-where's Asra? I've been trying to get a hold of him..

(Y/N): Don't bother, he's fast asleep. He started teasing me about when we spent time together, so I threw a pillow at him and he decided to fall asleep, sooner or later I will get my pillow back.

(Y/N): If I don't then I'll just take one of his. But other then myself how have you been?

Muriel: I've been good...

Hi, I'm completely new to BL shows, just started Not Me and I love it!! So I wanted to ask what your favorite BL shows are, to get deeper into the genre, maybe some featuring Gun? He really stands out, I like him a lot. Thank you!!

Hiii! I made a BL rec list for my more obscure faves recently but as always tumblr hates me and is pretending it doesn't exist so I'm making a new one :))) since you're new here I'll just include all of my top faves atm, in no particular order-

(Note that this is just the shows I personally really loved and isn't meant to be an objective ranking. If your faves aren't on here don't take it personally.)

1. Theory of Love - Thai BL

It's my all time favourite BL and I think it will always occupy the top spot on the list for me. This was the show that made me fall in love with romance as a genre. It's such a well executed story that really explores love in it's many forms and was back then one of the first times I watched a romance and felt that I understood exactly why the main characters loved each other so much. A lot of people have differing opinions on this show but for me it's almost perfect. It's also an OffGun bl so if you're craving Gun's acting this will satisfy that for sure. They're both great in this.

2. A Tale of a Thousand Stars - Thai BL

Another great romance imo. Not an OffGun show but the main leads had incredible chemistry. The story was a bit clichéd at times but in a way that was very enjoyable. I liked the slow burn build up of their relationship and the heavier moments really added some much needed depth to the whole narrative. Watching this show as it aired was a great experience and Tian will forever be one of my all time favourite thai characters.

3. 3 Will Be Free - not a BL but a must watch

This was one of the first thai shows I ever watched and it will forever be one of my faves. The story is about three people from very different worlds ending up on the run from the mafia together and ending up falling in love. No shitty triangles tho, ot3 all the way! Mild, my favourite thai actress, is so iconic in this and it's Jennie's best role for sure. Everything about this show was amazing, iconic, never been done before, best thing ever!!!

4. Bad Buddy - Thai BL

Now this one is a bit... idk if you look at my posts on the show near the end it'll seem like I don't care for it. The ending wasn't what I'd hoped for. It felt disingenuous and unsatisfactory to me. Other people loved it tho so it's definitely about personal opinion. I really loved this show in a this can do no wrong sort of way up until half-way through until some things happened that made me lose some of that obsession. Still, it's a really cute romeo juliet style romcom and there's a wlw side ship that I would die for so I will definitely recommend trying it out! Just be prepared for a couple things to not make sense...

5. To My Star - Korean BL

Short and sweet story about a celebrity falling in love with his chef roommate. Loved every second of this. It was so adorable. Not much to say here except that s2 comes out soon so definitely watch it before that!

6. Cherry Magic - Japanese BL

The story of Adachi who wakes up on his 30th birthday to discover his virginity had landed him mind reading powers which reveal his perfect co-worker's secret crush on him. This show is super sweet and wholesome and funny. Absolutely delightful in every single way I cannot recommend this enough. There's also canon aroace rep! Can you believe!?!? It's amazing.

7. Dark Blue Kiss - Thai BL

This one is hella divisive. People either love the main ship or hate em. I'm sure you can guess where my allegiances lie... For me, PeteKao both represented some very real struggles of being in a long-term closeted relationship. I felt that their story was relatable, realistic despite the dramatisation, and one that was important to be told. People often misrepresent this show as a petty jealousy plot when it's really about dealing with your own insecurities over a secret relationship (for Pete) and learning to overcome your internalised homophobia and fear of being rejected by your loved ones (for Kao). So yeah, I'm definitely recommend it but I won't guarantee that you'll like it.

8. Light On Me - Korean BL

Love triangle done very right. I absolutely love this show. It was so simple and grounded and also cute and fluffy. All of the romantic and platonic relationships explored in the show were top-notch and it really had me so completely invested in every single character and their relationships. Overall, very good watch must recommend.

9. Puppy Honey - Thai Show w/ OffGun

Now while this isn't actually a BL show a lot of people still count it as one simply because it was OffGun's first show together. Puppy Honey is a short, 2 season show about a pair of best friends who all fall in love in the backdrop of their club. Emma and Rome are freshers while Porsche and Pick are their super seniors (that's the concept). While both ships are cute and fun in s1 I do recommend skipping the straights in s2 for optimal viewing experience bc their storyline is both boring and completely inconsequential to the rest of the plot. Still, PickRome were OffGun's first ship and it's always got a place in the fandom's hearts because of that.

10. Colour Rush - Korean BL

I really, really loved this one when it aired. It's such an interesting take on the colour based soulbonds concept. S1 was amazing. The storyline, cinematography and chemistry were all amazing. But then a lot of things changed in s2 and I've been too scared to watch it so... I highly recommend watching s1 but won't speak on s2 yet...

Okay second try, so I doodled my MC for @lemonade-if 's game and I wanted to show these here and talk a bit about her :D

I had lots of fun doodling and coming up with a design, though I might still change some stuff around, we'll see.

Uh, I wanted to put it under a read more for people that don't wanna bother but it seems like it doesn't work, so I'm sorry _(:'3/ L)_

Anyways, here she is!

Her name is Hisakawa Kotone (久川コトネ), going by the stats we got told she'll most likely be:

Genuine and a tiny bit sarcastic, playful, charming, bold (general with people, shy in romance), emotional, positive and lawful.

She's friendly and respectful towards others (especially authorities and people older than her).

But she's got a foot-in-mouth personality, meaning that she talks before she thinks and may say something unintentionally dumb rude.

Academically she excels in scientific(?) classes like math and chemistry and the likes but is only average in everything to do with languages and literature.

I have no idea which club I'll make her join atm. She's athletic but I feel like you need to really commit for any of the sports clubs which sounds like a total bother. Cheering is not her thing, at all.

Art and Kotone aren't a good mix, she might be able to doodle some chibis but that's the extend of her artistic abilities. While she's sociable enough for journalism, in case they need to interview people, they better not let her handle the articles for the papers...

Kotone can play instruments tho I haven't decided which ones yet and is good at singing (though certainly no pro), but music club still sounds a bit boring to her. She wants to do stuff like that for fun, not for school.

Still, journalism or music might be the most likely to be chosen.

I forgot if it was explicitly stated in what sort of environment our MCs live? Like, a house or in an apartment complex? Though I guess judging by the example we've been given it sounded like the parents wanted to reason with their child that they moved places a lot because of commute and "rent being cheaper", so I figure money might be a topic and our MC probably lives in a tiny apartment complex now.

Does that mean no pets? My cat loving Kotone will cry.

I like giving my OCs significant birthdays (like holidays) so I decided on December 25th for Kotone. Since I also think smol girls are cute she's 161cm.

As you can see with the doodles I loved putting her in all sorts of clothes and hairstyles. She wears all sorts of stuff as long as they're comfortable and/or cute. Her go-to hairstyle is two braids and she loves long skirts/dresses which she pairs with sneakers.

Also I put her as some of my fav LINE stickers I might have a LINE sticker addiction which I thought fit her personality as well. I had more but I didn't bother drawing them all lmao. I like the smug one (bottom) and the fox the most, heh.

I'm a seiyuu lover (though mostly for the guys) so I wanted to imagine one for her too. I'm not too sure yet but I do really like Ohashi Ayaka (Angelina in Arknights) so I might go for her.

I'm a lazy ass so I usually don't make multiple MCs for IFs and just reuse my one MC for all the ROs. It's going to be the same here, but I typically have a "main RO".

I don't have one here yet because I like all the tropes the boys seem to represent (bad boy/delinquent, genki boi, notorious flirt and the kuudere stoic one) so I'll wait and see until I know more about the guys :3

While Kotone is not interested in the girls on a romantic level I do hope she can become BFF with all of them. Hopefully they can hang out a lot :D

Are sleepovers possible? She'd love those xD

I'm seriously looking forward to getting to know everyone. Not only the ROs but all the other important characters too (like Sensei).

I also can't wait to see what adventures my idiot daughter will go on Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ
