Ghost held the slimy, sticky egg in their hands. They stared down at it briefly, then turned their blank gaze upon the person who had given it to them. What were they supposed to do with this, exactly?

...They had never seen one of these hatch before, but they could only assume that inside it contained the offspring of a Bluggsac.

Unless, perhaps, those stationary creatures consumed the eggs, rather than produced them? Ghost knew that some bugs did consider them to be food, so it wouldn't be too unusual of an occurrence if so.

They were of no use to Ghost in that way, though, unlike the mature Bluggsacs. They had tried to siphon SOUL from one, once, at a time when they were particularly desperate to replenish their reserves. The resulting mess from that "experiment" was... Not something they intended to repeat.

They were unsure why the stranger had given them this, but... Okay?

Ghost brought the egg close to their torso, pressing it up against themself until the object seemed to... Disappear? As it was absorbed into the Void that composed them.

Yet another one to add to their collection, they supposed. Perhaps they should pay another visit to Friend Jiji and Friend Jinn sometime.
