i used to go here a while back even though i wasn’t rlly a proper larrie (complicated lol). at one point i started talking mad shit about them and everyone hated me only for me to come back and see how different people move now. womp womp :/ i genuinely feel like everyone dislikes them a teeny tiny bit, it’s weird to see. back then it was a big deal if you got away with a tad bit of criticism and anyone who was proper bitter was ousted into a small corner of this site where they stayed bitter with their anons. and it was also like 3 people. now im checking random blogs and literally everyone has some shady thing to say. DESERVED tbh. leaving before I say more. sorry if this is annoying or unnecessary. i just wanted to say it đŸ˜¶â€đŸŒ«ïžđŸ˜¶â€đŸŒ«ïžđŸ˜¶â€đŸŒ«ïž
I mean
if you’ve been following closer, they have been clearly very hard on larries for a while. Take Harry for example. This past summer he made his life purpose to destroy all things larries used as
something lol blue bandana? Here, X*nder have it. Sweet creature? It’s for Gemma and he said it in front of 90K people which was very humiliating imo. Umbro shirt? Listen, he’ll have it for a pap walk he will have to promote his brand and yall like bluegreen nail polish. And the last one, the one people willingly ignore, he has O*ivia name tattooed on his INNER THIGH. I dont think it gets worse than this lol do I even have to mention the biking sessions to promote a theatre play or
?
Louis has been a dickhead on twitter since he was in the band. Yesterday he was even more of a dickhead than he used to. If he wants to be the third Gallagher brother he should be asking them first. He was unnecessarily rude with everyone and with the chicken parmesan thing he showed to me he doesn’t even read the tweets or whatever issue with reading comprehension he has going on.
The good thing about social media instead of live or interviews is that you can take your time to write down some articulated response and that you happen to choose what you reply to.
He announced he was going to do this thing 24 hours prior, went online and treated everyone with sufficiency. Totally unprovoked. Can you see how prepared this was? That makes it even worse because he is acting like this on purpose and everyone knows it. Like what’s the point of doing that speech on stage everyone gets so emotional for if you go online and bicker with your fans? They’re not taken for granted when they buy your tickets, but when they tweet constantly about you and keep you relevant on social they’re? This tells a lot to me.
The problem is he wants to deny what he created (he mentioned the recipe even for walls promo) but he puts a target on larries’ back as always, because his fans can be unreasonably nasty and the pop world hates larries already they don’t waste a minute to start alienating them, insult them and bully them out of the safe space they have created for themselves. It’s the marketing they have chosen, their propaganda.
It’s weird when accounts with huge following interact with this part of fandom, because they never do it to “protect” them. We’re talking about a loud, mostly queer and young side of his fandom
I wonder what would happen if larries finally decided to turn their backs at them (which I encourage to do). Yes, there still might be a target on them but at least it wouldn’t be like that. I’m pretty out of the fandom, barely talk about them but I still follow some blogs so I know a few things. I’ve realised I’m not comfortable anymore here. I still want to write a few stories because it’s fun and I like the exercise but that’s going to be it.

Devlog 9: End of the line
Tumblr media
Hi, everyone and welcome to, I think, the final devlog regarding this game. I haven't actually been blogging my progress throughout April since it's just me going around to polish things off and making more CGs. Either way, for something short and sweet about the game's current whereabouts, stick around.
Cg work/end credits
This element in the game is pretty much finished as of now :) I currently need to take care of one final cg that'll appear in the true end, and after that, I'm done with those. Technically, I have 4 more to go, but those are for end credits. Speaking of which, I've also come up with an idea on how to fill the dead air that comes after the name and roles have been revealed. It will take a bit of extra work, yes, but I feel like it'll be worth it in the end. (And also some more drawings for the promo and the main menu screen..)
For previews, here are some I'm particularly proud of:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A bit less CG work compared to angel care, which is obvious considering this game's focus, but thank god honestly. I didn't include a section about bugs here because, you know. But the gist is that it's pretty polished now.
What's next?
I think, for me, I'll need to step back from the polishing stage a bit for some rest because... I've noticed in myself that I kind of got frustrated at the game despite it being practically done at this point. While, yes, there's still work to do, I think I need to give myself a break because I've accomplished a lot already. For morale purposes and to make me feel less jaded about the experience lol. But, either way, it's at that stage where I just need to tie some loose ends together. See you later this month =)

FAQ
What is KevEdd Revival Bang? You’ve heard of Big Bang fandom events, right? With the recent steady increase in KevEdd content, I figured now would be a good time to have a KevEdd event to encourage even more content (and perhaps convert more people to this ship). I eventually want to have a KevEdd Big Bang. However, with this being so new and this fandom not quite a big as other fandoms that have Big Bangs, I think a KevEdd Revival Bang would be a bit more appropriate right now. Just something smaller and without the required collaboration element to test the waters for a KevEdd Big Bang event in 2021.
When is the KevEdd Revival Bang? It goes from May 1 to September 30th, with the posting of the final content in September. See the schedule for more dates.
What kind of content will we see? The main aim is for fanfic and fanart to be created, but we do welcome comics, podfics, fanmixes, etc. Pretty much anything that is a form of the content you would see welcomed for a typical Big Bang event.
What is expected of me for [insert specific type of fanwork here]? Details for what is expected for each type of fanwork can be found in the rules.
What are Check-ins? Check-ins are forms sent out via email to make sure you are making appropriate progress on your fan content, as well as to gather the necessary information to help promo this event and your work.
What do I need to submit for Check-in 1? Writers: Your half-completed rough draft is due. You will need to have 50% of your fanfic completed, with an outline for the rest of the plot. Artists: You will submit a basic plan for your art piece, including what you plan on creating, medium you will use, the estimated time it will take to complete, where you plan on posting, etc. Other types of fanwork: Details for other types of content will be added as needed.
What do I need to submit for Check-in 2? Writers: Casual check-in in terms of progress. You will also need to submit promotional information (more details will be sent via email closer to the date). Artists: 75% of your artwork is due.  You will also need to submit promotional information (more details will be sent via email closer to the date). Other types of fanwork: Details for other types of content will be added as needed.
What do I need to submit for Check-in 3? All fanwork: You will submit your final draft of any content you plan on submitting. At worst, you will only need to do final, final, final touches to complete your work before your posting date.
When will I know my promo/posting date? What if I can only post on certain days? You will know your promo date and your posting date a few days after Check-in 2 is due. Part of Check-in 2 is reporting your availability to post for August and September, so your schedule will be taken into consideration.
Can I sign up for multiple types of content, or make more than one fanfic/fanart? Heck yeah! But please make sure you don’t bite off more than you can chew.
I signed up for one type of fanwork, but now I want to do another type
Is that okay? You must complete a fanwork of the type you originally signed up for. However, if you want to create another type of content IN ADDITION TO the type of fanwork you signed up for, feel free, as long as you complete everything you signed up for!
When can I start working on my fanwork? As soon as you sign up!
Can I create NSFW or risque fanwork? As long as you’re at least 18 years of age.
If I’m writing a fanfic, do I have to include AO3 archive warnings? YES! You must tag any AO3 warnings that apply or select “No Archive Warnings Apply” if your fic doesn’t include any. The “Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings” option is not permitted in this event.
If I’m writing a fanfic, do I need a beta-reader? (What even is a beta-reader?) A beta-reader is basically an editor. They look for things like spelling, grammar, flow, sentence structure, etc. We strongly encourage you to find a beta-reader for your fanfic, because betas can help take your fic and polish it into a beautiful masterpiece. However, it is not required.
How can I find a beta-reader? How can I find someone who might want to collab? You will have to find one via your own social media page, because this event is currently too small to have a collab element or a list of betas. However, we can post requests on the tumblr page. Just send an ask saying you would like the request form, and once that’s filled out and sent back to us, we will post the request for you on the blog.
Is Rev!Edd or Rev!Kevin allowed? Heck yeah! Someone please get me a Quiz Bowl hat for Christmas.
Sounds good! How do I sign up? By clicking HERE. But make sure you read through all the FAQs, the schedule, and rules first!

Top 07: Best Video Editing Software For Beginner
If video isn’t already an important part of your content marketing strategy, odds are it’s about to be. Web content is taking a turn toward video whether SEOs and content marketers like it or not. Nearly 50% of marketers are adding YouTube and Facebook channels for video distribution in the next year; one-third of online activity is spent watching the video, and video itself is projected to account for more than 80% of all internet traffic by 2019. 80%!
For those looking to continue to grow their organic traffic, that means one thing:
Not an expert? Don’t know how to edit videos, have a video studio, or have a bona fide video specialist to shoot and cut your features? That’s alright! The goal of today’s blog is to show you that with the right video editing software, you too can churn out sleek, professional video content—regardless of experience—and keep your content strategy ahead of the curve.
Let’s dive in! Here are our recs for the top 10 best pieces of video editing software or video editing apps for beginners—from cheapest (i.e. free!) to most expensive
01 apple imovie
so to those of you working with PCs, this one won’t really apply; but we’d remiss to leave it off the list. If you’re looking for simplicity and elegance, it doesn’t get much better than Apple iMovie. iMovie’s ten high-fidelity filters are some of the classiest in the video editing game; and if you’re shooting on your iPhone, or have been editing a project on your iPad, you can use AirDrop to wirelessly and seamlessly transfer your project over to your Mac. One of iMovie’s most coveted features is its green-screen, or “chroma-key” tool, which allows you to place your characters in exotic locations—Hawaii, say—at a moment’s notice. Want to overlay the scene with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”? iMovie ties directly in with iTunes and GarageBand, so you can easily implement custom tracks and sounds. When your movie’s finally ready to ship, release it into the wild using iMessage, Facebook, YouTube, or any other of iMovie’s succinctly connected platforms. Standout Features: Seamless Apple product integration; green-screen; audio and social platform integration
02 Lumen5
How to Edit Videos Without Much Technical Ability We’ll put this more in the category of a video editing “tool” than video editing software, but for social media marketers who want to create fun, flashy social promos in the blink of an eye, Lumen5 is a no brainer. Here’s a short little feature we made for a recent blog postLumen5 markets itself as a tool that turns blog posts into social promos. While the process isn’t perfect, and you’ll likely have to do some tinkering to get your blog content looking just the way you want it, the rest of the video creation process is a cinch. Merely refine some copy that teases your blog post; drag and drop some gifs, screengrabs, or video clips; add some music, and your engaging social video will be ripe for Facebook and Twitter. Standout Features: Blog-to-social-promo creation; drag-and-drop interface Pricing: Create as many 480p videos as you want with the free version; or, for $50 per month, upgrade to 1080p HD. 3. Nero Video One of the cheaper options around ($49.99), Nero Video holds its own on this list—it comes well-stocked with a lot of the tricks and effects you’ll find among other products vying for video editing supremacy, and as far as software for beginners, you can certainly do worse. If you’re going to spend money learning how to edit videos, however, you might want to steer clear. Nero just doesn’t have the speed and functionality of some of the other products listed here, and if it’s value proposition is its price, $50 is still not all that cheap.
03. Corel VideoStudio
VideoStudio has all the characteristics of the other top-of-the-line products on this list, including 360-degree VR and 4k support, but it also has the distinction of being the first piece of consumer video editing software to offer motion tracking—which, if you’re not already familiar, is a feature that allows you to track specific objects throughout your cut (if you wanted, say, to point an arrow at one of your characters, blur out his face, or bestow him with a funny hat). Most of the products on this list come equipped with motion tracking, but VideoStudio still boasts one of the best motion tracking systems around. One of the knocks on VideoStudio is its speed, which lags notably behind some of the faster systems on this list, like CyberLink PowerDirector and Pinnacle Studio. Still: for a one-time payment of $51.99? You can do much worse. Standout Features: Motion tracking Pricing: One-time payment of $51.99 5. Filmora from Wondershare When it comes to free video editing software, Filmora is about as multi-faceted as they come. Filmora is Wondershare’s standard, simple, high-quality video editing offering; but Wondershare also offers FilmoraGo (for mobile editing) and Filmora Scrn (for screen recording and editing). The design is intuitive and easy to use and comes replete with filters, overlays, motion elements, transitions, and a small selection of royalty-free music. Here are a few more of the “basics” Filmora offers: 4k and gif support are boilerplate features for most video editing products today, but one thing Filmora does particularly well is titles. Title tools are trending in video software, and while Filmora’s doesn’t have the functionality of say, an Apple Final Cut Pro X, which can superimpose 3D titles over your videos and rotate them on three axes, it nonetheless has some snazzy titling features for the money you’re spending. Another Filmora feature beginners to video editing will find attractive is “Easy Mode,” which allows you to create fun, polished edits by merely dragging and dropping clips, choosing a theme, and selecting music. Standout features: Title tool; mobile and screen editing; “Easy Mode” Pricing: Starts at $59.99 for a lifetime license; or, $39.99 for a year.
04. CyberLink PowerDirector
we stretched the meaning of “software” a bit earlier; now, we’re going to stretch the meaning of “beginner.” We included CyberLink PowerDirector on this list because its interface is, at the end of the day, pretty straightforward. Head to the product page, run through the tutorials, and you’ll be alright. There is within the interface, however, an embarrassment of options and effects. If you’re not willing to invest the time in learning all of them, it can get a bit overwhelming. In terms of rendering, PowerDirector is regarded as one of the fastest video editing systems around. It also operates consistently in the sphere of the innovative and cutting edge. PowerDirector led the charge in the switch to 4k, and today, it’s one of the first systems to support 360-degree virtual reality footage. Price: you get what you pay for! $79.99 gets you unlimited access to one of the most capable pieces of video editing software around. Standout Features: Lightning-fast rendering; the comprehensive suite of effects Pricing: One-time payment of $79.99 Adobe Premiere Elements We include Premiere Elements on the list mostly because it’s been an industry leader in the video editing game for some time. And $79.99 is not egregious, but we’re here to say that at that price, you’re mostly paying for the name. In the time since Premiere Elements’ inception, too many other products have surpassed it in speed and capability for us to place it among the cream of the crop. That’s to take nothing away from Premiere Elements’ usability, though—specifically for beginners. The Guided Edits feature makes Adobe Premiere a particularly attractive option for beginners, as it allows them to take on both quick edits and advanced projects with substantial assistance from the software. So while Premiere Elements lags behind the competition in terms of speed, 3D editing, multi-cam, and some other advanced features, it’s still a great choice for the beginner looking for a comprehensive suite of effects, and some guidance on how to implement them. Standout Features: Guided Edits; simple interface Pricing: One-time payment of $79.99 8.
05. Pinnacle Studio
At the higher end of the Corel product line is Pinnacle Studio—which, at $129.95 (the amount you’ll need to pay to edit 360-degree and 4k content with the “Ultimate” version), costs more than twice as much as VideoStudio. What do you get for the extra money? Well, not only does Pinnacle come readily equipped with all the features you’d expect from an upper-echelon product—motion tracking, 360-degree VR support, 4k support, multi-cam, etc.—but you’d be hard-pressed to find a faster product on the market in terms of rendering. For all of its features, Pinnacle’s interface is still as user-friendly and intuitive as anything on this list. Thus, is you have the need for speed, and you don’t mind shelling out a few extra bucks for it, Pinnacle might be the product for you. Standout Features: Top-of-the-line rendering speeds; a full range of features and support Pricing: One-time payment of $129.95
06. Adobe Premiere
Pro With a virtually unmatched suite of features, 360 VR and 4k support, and a newly implemented ability to store, organize, and share assets online with a team, Adobe Premiere Pro is perhaps the most complete piece of video editing software around. Here’s a recent video promo for our free AdWords account structure guide we cut using Premiere Pro. One of the more dazzling of Premiere Pro’s tools is the Lumetri Color tool, which offers color adjustment and manipulation on a par with that of Photoshop. The multi-cam feature is also a winner—whereas most systems allow you to work with a limited number of camera angles, Premiere Pro’s latest iteration allows for an unlimited amount. Throw in a wealth of titling options, readily connected ancillary apps (like Photoshop and After Effects), and a flexible, easy-to-use interface, and Premiere Pro is a no brainer. Standout Features: Multi-cam and coloring options; title tool; easy integration with Adobe Products; straightforward interface Pricing: $19.99/month
07. Apple Final Cut Pro X
For the most advanced, least fiscally prudent of beginners, there’s Apple Final Cut Pro X. $299.99 might be a little steep for a product you may well have a difficult time understanding; but for those among you who enjoy a challenge, and who aspire to some level of professionalism in video editing, why not go for it? Apple has made the transition from iMovie to Final Cut Pro more painless than ever—so if you’re the kind of guy or gal who enjoys him/herself an Apple product, and has worked with iMovie to the point of mastery, it might be time to splurge on Final Cut Pro. The power is still daunting; the interface, significantly less so. Standout Features: Magnetic Timeline; Touch Bar support Pricing: One-time payment of $299.99 Some Final Thoughts Are you content or social media marketer looking to get in the video editing game for the sake of keeping up with the growing video trend? Don’t stress! Any of the above software apps would make a fine choice for a beginner. Think about your budget, your current level of expertise, and how much time you’re willing to devote to learning a new skill. Whether you're looking for the best video editing software for YouTube or the responsibility has simply fallen on you to get your team’s video marketing strategy up to snuff—don’t wait around deliberating! Get invested in one of these video editing products, and make it yours.

Examples of Amazing AI-created Videos
In recent years, AI has made incredible strides in the field of video creation. Here are 10 examples of amazing AI-created videos:
1. “A I generated music video for Katy Perry’s song ‘Dark Horse'”: In this video, created by artificial intelligence startup Neurala, an AI program was used to generate a music video for Katy Perry’s song “Dark Horse.” The results are pretty impressive, with the AI system creating a visually compelling and seemingly cohesive video that matches the tone of the song fairly well.
2. “An AI-created film trailer for ‘Blade Runner 2049â€Č”: This trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi film Blade Runner 2049 was created entirely by an AI system developed by NVIDIA. The trailer looks and feels like it could easily be mistaken for an official one released by the studio (although it does lack some key plot points).
3. “Sundance Film Festival selects an AI-made short film for screening”: One of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, Sundance, selected a short animated film called “Soggy Bottom” for screening at its 2020 event. The twist? The entire film was created by an AI system developed by Samsung’s STAR Labs research division.
4. “‘Coco’-inspired Pixar short produced byAI is stunningly realistic”: This beautiful short film called “Uncanny Valley” was inspired by Pixar’s Oscar-winning movie Coco and produced entirely by artificial intelligence. The level of detail and realism achieved by the AI system is truly astounding.
Conclusion
As more businesses enter the online space, competition for attention is heating up. To be seen, you need to create videos that stand out from the rest. But creating professional videos can be time-consuming and expensive.
There are now AI video creation tools that provide an affordable and quick solution for creating high-quality videos. These tools use cutting-edge technology to create realistic human faces and voices, allowing you to create custom videos without any prior video production experience.

1. When it comes to AI video creation, one of the most important tools is a good video editing software. This will allow you to create videos that look polished and professional. There are a number of different options out there, so be sure to do some research to find the one that best suits your needs.
2. Another key tool for AI video creation is a powerful computer. This will help ensure that your videos render quickly and look their best. If you don’t have a top-of-the-line machine, don’t worry; there are still plenty of great options available that won’t break the bank.
3. Finally, you’ll also need access to high-quality stock footage and photos if you want your videos to really stand out from the crowd. Thankfully, there are now numerous places online where you can find royalty-free media to use in your projects. With these three tools in hand, you’re well on your way to creating incredible AI videos
How to Get Started with AI Video Creation
Video creation is a process of creating videos through various means, such as by shooting video footage, editing it, and adding visual and audio effects. AI can be used in video creation to help with tasks such as storyboarding, character animation, and lip syncing.
There are many software programs that can be used for AI video creation. Some of the most popular ones include Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, and Blender. Each program has its own set of features and tools that can be used to create amazing videos.
To get started with AI video creation, you will need to choose a software program that best suits your needs. Once you have chosen a program, you will need to create a project file. This file will contain all of the information about your video, including the scene files, characters, objects, and animations.
Troubleshooting Your AI Video Creation Project
If you’re experiencing difficulties with your AI video creation project, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue. First, check to make sure that all the necessary software and hardware requirements are met. Then, try restarting the application or device you’re using to create the video. If the problem persists, consult with a professional who specializes in AI video creation or reach out to customer support for assistance.
Examples of Amazing AI-created Videos
In recent years, AI has made incredible strides in the field of video creation. Here are 10 examples of amazing AI-created videos:
1. “A I generated music video for Katy Perry’s song ‘Dark Horse’”: In this video, created by artificial intelligence startup Neurala, an AI program was used to generate a music video for Katy Perry’s song “Dark Horse.” The results are pretty impressive, with the AI system creating a visually compelling and seemingly cohesive video that matches the tone of the song fairly well.
So if you’re looking to get started with video marketing, or want to take your existing video content to the next level, check out one of these AI video creation tools:

Last week, I finally had the courage, and time to have my maternity shoot. 😀
It was such a surreal experience; it was a first time for everyone! My hair and makeup artist, the photo and video team, my husband, and of course, me!
Tumblr media
I know it can be unnecessary, since we have so much to prepare for birth and the days after that, but I definitely wanted to push this idea to document this wonderful miracle while I can. And of course, it won’t be possible for me not to write about it here. Teehee!
So I’d like to share some tips and a guide on what you need to do just in case you’ll be holding your own momma-shoot!
Find a Comfortable Venue
I was 35 weeks when I had this shoot, and according to some of my readings, the best weeks to hold this photoshoot is when you are between your 28th to 35th. In this time, at least your tummy is showy enough to be captured, and at the same time, safer. We don’t want to be bothered by the fact that you can give birth any minute while posing for the camera, do we?
Tumblr media
I tried looking for studios, and a good AirBNB place, but all the places I’ve looked for are either too cramped, doesn’t allow photoshoots, or are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive!
Good thing, I stumbled upon a post in my feed about this cute getaway place in Bulacan. It’s called San Rafael River Adventure, and the place actually looks divine! 😀
They have a lot of fun activities that you can use for other types of shoots, like the prenup. But since I will just be using the entire accommodation, this should be enough.
It is highly important that you feel comfortable with the location or your venue, because of our condition. This is not the shoot where we can be adventurous. Leave it to the prenups and getaway trips! 😀
I booked the Glass Stilt Cottage, which is newly constructed by the way. I can’t believe I have a view of the lake in front of me! They have a comfy bed, and a jacuzzi. The space outside was enough to cater at least 6 people. There was a hammock, a sliding sofa, good lighting and a breezy weather to top it off. The air condition was good inside as well, plus the windows were perfect for those silhouette shots I was eyeing. Plus I thought that their rainy season promo was just perfect! So, what does a pregnant girl got to do? Book it right away of course! 😀
I am happy that the resort was very quick to reply, and I was given the available dates. I made a group chat, and voila, scheduled it right away together with the available dates of my team! 😀
2. Create Your Mood Board
I am a very bad pregnant-person-slash-client. Grr. I bash myself.
Oh well, I know I have to prepare for this weeks ago, but I was only able to send this to my team two days prior to our shooting day. I was too busy with some other things that I rarely had time to browse Pinterest or create a mood board.
But being the good crammer that I am, I was able to whip one just in time. Hehe 😀
Since I got a really good deal with Grid Studio too, (they are our civil wedding photo and video team by the way); they offered me unlimited shots, so yeah I want to maximize that. 😀
I thought about 5 sets and took inspiration from the things I found online, and of course with the available props and wardrobe that I have.
a. Whimsical Woman
Tumblr media
I bought this pink ensemble way back in May, thinking it could be a good alternative for a bridal robe for my church wedding. But turns out, it could serve its purpose at an earlier date!
I also bought these flower crowns in SM. I couldn’t decide which one I like more, so I got them both. Haha Ayoko na pahirapan sarili ko! (I don’t want to have the burden of thinking which one is better!)
b. Simple and Laidback Mom + Hubby
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I saw a lot of simples, and laidback shots that are perfect to include baby things, and the husband too. It looks soft on the eyes, very loving, and “very family”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
c. Boss Mama
This one is credited to my working-productive-self! Even though I’m pregnant, I am still very hands-on in my business especially that it’s new and the brand is just starting to pick up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always tell myself, I will not lose my identity and individuality just because of the new role that motherhood could bring; more so, it will be a big improvement. I will be a much better version because I’m adding a new role in my resume.
d. Boudoir
I actually wanted one before prior to getting married, but due to time constraints and indecisiveness, I wasn’t able to come up with one. Hopefully, when I get my body back post-pregnancy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So in the meantime, I thought why not have one while expecting? It’s a totally new form because for once in my life I am not skinny, and I’ve got a few extra curves to flaunt. 😀
I can’t wait to share the silhouette photos! 😀
e. Summertime
Since I love wearing a bikini, and there was a Jacuzzi in our venue, there was no way I would pass on the opportunity of wearing one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was very funny too, because for once in my life, I have to buy an extra-large bikini! Haha 😀 I was pretty sad when I didn’t get the color I wanted because I was too big for the available Large size. Goodie, they have this red one that can fit my baby bump.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which reminds me, I actually had a mini shoot wearing a bikini when I was in Bataan. I was 18 weeks here, and you could see how I just look ‘busog’.
3. Find a Good Maternity Shoot Team
Tumblr media
This was easy. I was able to establish a really good relationship with my civil wedding photo-video-HMU team that I thought about them instantly. They actually haven’t done any maternity shoots, so this made the whole experience more exciting.
I actually thought of getting other suppliers, but I realized I will still get a better deal if I get my original team. I also saw some studios offering maternity shoots. Sure they are cheaper, but what I didn’t like is that they don’t give raw files of the photos, and they will only release like 5 to 10 shots, printed and edited. Plus there was no video too.
Tumblr media
Grid Studio offered me unlimited shots, a video, printed photos and raw files, plus we can shoot anywhere I like, so yes, there was nothing left to discuss.
Tumblr media
Elaine Cordova Makeup Artistry is such a good find too. She has done my makeup for a blog photoshoot and at my actual wedding, and I am really satisfied. She has great skills, plus I don’t have to burn holes in my pockets just to avail her airbush makeup. Elaine is also very instinctive, she knows what you want, asks for your makeup pegs, and deliberately retouches you every now and then, without you even asking.
4. Know Your Poses
Tumblr media
Expect a lot of dreamy looks and belly-touching poses on a maternity shoot. So be sure your nails are polished! If you gain some weight and some extra chubbs in your face like I do, be sure you know your angles so you can still achieve the looks you want.
Tumblr media
It’s also good to research poses with your husband/partner so things could go on smoothly. I am so happy that Rose and Michael of Grid Studio are very directive when it comes to poses. It was amazing how they handled and directed us even though it was also their first to cover a maternity shoot.
5. Prepare Your Props
We weren’t able to buy a lot of props, but good thing I was able to nick some of the random shopping baby finds we had. Plus it is so helpful that friends and family also gave their baby gifts earlier! Haha More props for us!
Here is the list of the props I think would help add more character to a maternity shoot:
Tumblr media
Baby clothes
Baby shoes (Be gender specific)
Baby socks
Baby toys
Ultrasound Photos
Baby book / Storybook
Pregnancy book
Stuffed toy (I had a kangaroo with a little joey in its pouch)
A figure of the first letter of baby’s name (We didn’t have time to find one. Sad. )
6. Get a Good Night Sleep The Day Before
Please do! It’s good for your skin, and to rid those circles under your eyes. Plus it helps you to have good energy for the entire day!
Tumblr media
I only had an hour’s sleep though. I was finishing bulk orders ready for delivery the next day, that’s why. I think my strong desire and excitement for the shoot to happen are what sustained me to last the whole day! 😀
7. Enjoy Being Gorgeously Pregnant and Pose the Belly Away
Honestly, I was extra weary that I won’t look great in this shoot, because I’m fat, my skin is dry, my belly button is protruding, my linea nigra is so apparent, my face feels like it’s going to burst, etc.
Tumblr media
But hey, I am a walking miracle! That should be enough to keep me happy and make me feel beautiful. So I just accepted all these flaws that I have in my head, after all, these are all normal for a pregnant woman, duh?
So I just prepared myself that I won’t get the usual results in this photoshoot, unlike the past ones. I have to accept that early on. I will look different. Very different. But there’s a growing life inside me, and this little one is going to change my life forever. And being able to document that in a maternity shoot is already a blessing. Truly, something I would treasure for the years to come.
Tumblr media
If you are thinking of having one too, I highly recommend it! It doesn’t have to put a big dent on your wallet though. You can always have the kind of shoot you want, whether in your home, studio, in a DIY setup, on the beach, or anywhere you find it comfortable doing. You just have to do your research, and be resourceful!
Tumblr media
Go my mermom merfriends! 😀 Be confident and strut that baby bump soon! 😀 You only get pregnant once, or twice, or thrice! Haha 😀 Whatever the frequency is, it would be a great keepsake for your family to remember by, and a great photo to show the little one once he is outside too!
I will share my final shots when I get them!
Enjoy your pregnancy! I’m popping soon!

hello! how do you get attention on ask blogs? i just started one and i'm not sure how to go about getting attention for it
‘ello, nony! Here’s some tips from personal experience:
Try to make your promo post interesting! Maybe a little introductory comic setting up how they got here, or have your character say/do something more than simply stating “askbox open!” to give viewers a taste of how you’ll interpret them, etc. There’s no problem with making more than one promo post!
Interact with other ask blogs! Follow other ask blogs within the same fandom; it’ll be easier to be updated with what your fandom’s ask blog community is up to, and to get promoted. Check their FAQ to see if they are okay with doing blog interactions, and/or hit them up with an ask/DM to be sure. I personally like to agree on convos via DMs beforehand so both parties have an idea of what we’ll do.
Be active in the beginning. Try to update every three days or at least once a week for the first few weeks - this way you’ll be a more constant presence on your followers’ dash and more easily remembered.
Do balance quality and quantity! With ask blogs, you don’t really have to put a lot of effort on the art - I actually advise against that. A more sketchy, quick style than your regular polished style suffices - make it quick and refreshing enough that it doesn’t take much of your time and doesn’t put much pressure on you.
Tag your posts efficiently to make sure they’re seen. The first five tags are the ones that will show in people’s track; the first twenty ones are the ones that will show in tumblr’s and your blog’s search. So always tag first the most popular relevant tags - like the ship name (if applicable), the character name and show name. Leave your personal organization tags for second and ooc comment tags for last.
Try to keep your blog as IC as possible - as in, avoid reblogging too many OOC posts. Promos are fine; fandom related stuff like fanart should be filtered down; fandom unrelated things like memes should be avoided. It’s not a rule, but people are more likely follow you and keep following you if your blog stays constant to its main theme.
Make your answers interesting. Show, don’t tell. Try to avoid simply having the character stand there and answer the question punctually; throw in additional thoughts and quirks, memories, a whole situation that answer the questions by itself, or a situation that ends up opening even more questions. Let’s say you get an ask like “what is Y’s greatest fear?”. You could have Y answer “my greatest fear is Y” - OR you could draw the fateful in moment in Y’s past which made their greatest fear come to be, or have their greatest fear literally barge in through the window and their reaction to it, or have them get fidgety and side eyeing a dreadful mug sitting on top of a table nearby and leave the viewer wondering “wait, what’s that all about? Is it a fear of mugs? Something that happened related to mugs?” and inevitably getting an inquiring ask. Make it engaging!
ALWAYS! GO FOR! MAKING IT! ENGAGING! What makes YOUR interpretation of Y different than others, aside from your art style? Make it so if non followers see your post reblogged by someone, they don’t just go “oh this is nice art of Y”, they go “what’s going on here?? What’s the story?”. Make people want to check out your blog to see more posts. You don’t need to have an underlying plot going on (though that really works and is pretty fun to work with), but DO try to string some of your posts with one another in some way. Make a consistent characterization for them. Create running gags, small little inner jokes between you and the audience. Create something that’s unique to your take on Y.
If your askbox is empty or none of the few current asks really inspires you, it’s fine to send yourself a couple anons! No one will know! ;P
I think I sidetracked a little bit but that’s what I got on getting ask blog visibility! If you’re curious to know how it went for me when I first started, I was lucky to have about 3k+ (4k+? Don’t remember) followers this blog when I started promoting the ask blog. I was also lucky to pick two super niche characters who had very little content for them on tumblr, so the character sheet I did to promote them got a lot more attention than the actual ask blog promo. And finally, I was on a break from university to recover from two surgery procedures on my lung (the second one was urgent and actually happened after I created the blog!) so I had a lot of time to spend at home working on long and frequent posts, which helped me gathering interest. With that I got a good starting kick, and started to update my blog every saturday, with each post being previously planned and scripted based of the accumulating asks I got! Sadly it’s been a while I can’t afford to update weekly anymore, but I’m still as pumped to keep telling the story I have been working up for over a year now.
Also! If you’re a BNHA blog and I didn’t promo you yet on @ask-protoheroes, don’t be afraid to hit me up with an ask or DM and I’ll gladly promo you! I recommend you do it on my main since I’m logged in on here more often!

Florida-based illustrator Caley Hicks, aka There Will Be Cute, looks to vintage children’s illustrations to inform her adorable, retro-tinted drawings and patterns. With Halloween a favorite subject, Hicks depicts black cats, pumpkins, and headless horsemen in a midcentury-inspired palette of burnt orange, cream, and charcoal black.

The final result is a high-fashion take on the spooky holiday. These photos would be perfect for giving a Halloween-themed magazine layout or poster a high-fashion twist.

8. Carved Vegetables by Tough Slate Design
Who knew a fig could be so frightening? Kiev-based creatives Tough Slate Design gave this Halloween promo campaign for Le Silpo Specialty Grocery store a quirky twist using that most humble of foods — fruit and vegetables.
Carving frightening faces into turnips, peppers, and olives, then photographing them against a seasonal orange background, created a foundation for their “Treat-or-treat!” campaign. The idea behind the posters? With Le Silpo offering a wide range of delicacies in-store, it seemed bland and unoriginal to use a traditional Halloween pumpkin.
Striking the perfect balance between cute and creepy, the final poster is a lesson in discovering an unusual and offbeat angle for a seasonal campaign.

9. Wall Art by Syda Productions
Simple cut-out shapes made from paper or card can be transformed into stylish and striking works of art with the right concept in mind. Here, Shutterstock contributor Syda Productions turns his hand to collage-style displays of swarming bats. Set against a minimal backdrop, the result is perfect inspiration for style-conscious decorators looking to add a touch of seasonal spirit to a home or office setting.
Why not try creating and photographing your own Halloween collage creations? Decorate a lonely wall with a flock of black crows or flurry of spider webs to conjure a spooky spirit on a budget.

10. Contemporary Tarot Cards by Theo Boquet
Fortune-telling is deeply connected with the Halloween season. A display of tarot cards across a dining table at a Halloween party is not only a decorative flourish, but is a lovely way of bringing a touch of mystery and spirituality to your event.
These modern and minimal tarot cards by Lille-based graphic designer Theo Boquet offer an ultra-stylish alternative to traditional tarot cards. The collage style mixes black-and-white figures from popular culture and artistic masterpieces with pops of vivid blue and yellow ink.
Boquet’s design is a great example of applying contemporary style to traditional subject matter, to create a hip fusion of old and new.

[2:05 pm-ish, April 20, 2019]
Man, there is nothing that puts me in a fouler mood than when I let my own personal procrastination demon get the better of me on a perfectly free Saturday to the point that I don’t start getting any writing done until after 2 in the afternoon. I had planned to get up early and everything, and I even did. Sort of.
I scrolled through a ton of YouTube videos first, and before I knew it, it was nearing ten in the morning and I still needed to eat something. Ugh, so I did that
and then I committed the sin of hibernating on the couch for a couple of hours to catch up on some anime-related stuff. Though it was the sort that always manages to fuel my inspiration and imagination.
[Present Day]
Okay, I know what you’re thinking: that all’s no excuse, every procrastinating writer says that as they convince themselves to turn on Netflix or Hulu to “get inspiration” instead of writing and end up marathoning that show they really just want to finish so they’re caught up with everyone else, and because they love it so much.
Just the same, it did give me what I needed to open up my laptop and start working towards my writing goal for the day working on editing and polishing my manuscript: I finally got around to watching Kara No Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin – Recalled Out Summer and Recalled Out Summer: Extra Chorus.
Okay, now that probably doesn’t mean a whole lot just by a name-drop, but let me explain. After all, that’s the whole point of this blog post: My love letter to Type-Moon. (And yes, I realize I’m not the first person to express said love in a blog post.)
Tumblr media
Saber from the Fate Series and Ryougi Shiki from Kara No Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners
Type-Moon is a Japanese game company known primarily for their visual novels. Not really a thing here in the West, at least not as much if at all, but when I was first introduced to the concept of visual novels, I thought of them as choose-your-own-adventures played as an electronic game rather than read as a book. As I’ve come to better understand it, it’s kind of like that, you do make certain decisions that can lead to certain endings, but sometimes, as in the case of arguably Type-Moon’s most well-known visual novel, Fate/Stay Night, the point is to play through three different versions of the same story premise: kid gets dragged into ancient battle royale known as the Holy Grail War, and with each version of the story, or “route”, being played through, each featuring a different heroine for our protagonist, Shirou Emiya. One route builds upon the previous, and each route gets subsequently darker in terms of plot points and content.
Fate/Zero, incidentally (and my #1 favorite anime ever), is the prequel to that, and succeeds where most prequels don’t, since it’s a tragedy (I’ll go into more detail on that in my upcoming post about how Fate/Zero succeeds as a prequel). That was written as a light novel (kinda like a YA novel, or well, a shorter novel, so “light” novel) before it was adapted into an anime, and sets up the events of all three routes in Stay Night. So, it confirms that no matter what route you’re in in Stay Night, the events of Zero hold true for each of them. (Which is interesting when you consider the damage some of the characters in Stay Night have been living with since Zero, yet they may or may not come up in Stay Night depending on what route’s being played.)
Tumblr media
Cover art for Fate/Zero blu-ray box set
The co-founders of Type-Moon, writer Kinoko Nasu and illustrator Takashi Takeuchi, have come up with some pretty interesting and awesomely cool material in my opinion, and not only for Stay Night, which ultimately culminated in launching the Fate franchise, which has
a HUGE number of titles, and with the anime adaptations of Zero, the original of Stay Night, and the reboots of Stay Night covering the two subsequent routes that the original couldn’t really cover, a bunch more titles in the franchise have each been getting their own anime adaptations in turn, as though there was suddenly this HUGE frenzy for Fate title after Fate title to be adapted into an anime, demonstrating just how sprawling the lore and fanbase of this franchise is.
Tumblr media
Promo art for Fate/Grand Order
And if that weren’t enough, there isn’t just Fate, there are other Type-Moon-developed visual novels whose worlds are connected to that of Fate. The only two I’m aware of for sure are Tsukihime and Kara No Kyoukai. (And then there’s Canaan, which was developed by Type-Moon too and its wonderful little 13-episode series in its own way, though I’ve been unable to verify for sure just how much if at all it’s connected with the aforementioned titles.) While I haven’t been able to get into Tsukihime much at all, since I can’t shell out to get my hands on the original visual novel, translated or not, and the anime is notorious for sucking so much that most deny it even exists, I have been able to get into Kara No Kyoukai, a series of films adapted originally from a seven-series online novel written by Nasu, and are seen by many as primers to the world of the Nasuverse (or the world of Type-Moon), which makes sense since when you see it you can recognize characters and plot points that feel like they were taken and reworked for things like Fate. Despite that though, they still do in fact exist in the same universe all as their own characters with their own stories.
Yeah it’s a lot. And the Kara No Kyoukai films cost a pretty penny, but this year I at long last got my hands on both the bluray box set of both the original seven films, as well as the additional film (Future Gospel and Recalled Out Summer: Prelude), and the extra special (Recalled Out Summer: Extra Chorus) just this year–stories that Nasu had an idea for after the original seven came out, but had not written in novel form. I’ve watched the first seven several times at least, but I was hesitant for the longest time about seeing the eighth film and the extra specials, since the first seven tied together so satisfyingly well, to put it mildly. But I finally gave in because I just love Type-Moon that much. And in the end, I was happy I got it, if only to have more Type-Moon in my life.
And that love compelled me to write out, essentially, a love letter conveying that love to Type-Moon. I’ve developed a lot of plot points for both my novel manuscript, as well as my style and voice as a writer, from the material I’ve seen from Type-Moon.

Fate/Zero was my induction, the jumping off point from which I finally took the plunge (some would argue watching the 2006 adaptation of the first route of Fate/Stay Night first is more prudent, but if I’m being honest, I tried that, and just couldn’t get through it knowing something like Fate/Zero was out there–I just couldn’t wait, though eventually I did end up owning and watching the original 2006 Stay Night, mostly because I was starved for Fate material until more of the anticipated new content came out, and because I was able to get a DVD copy of the series for $10.00–more than worth it, it turned out).

Anyway, Zero pulled me in not just with eye-candy, godly levels of animation quality unprecedented in an anime TV series (considering how much budgeting goes into animation on the whole in the industry), and not just with its very epic concept of the Holy Grail War and all that that entailed as well, but also with its characters.
I adored Waver Velvet, the underdog student of magecraft who, despite being in over his head as the youngest participant in the War, manages to summon the hero Alexander the Great to act as his Servant, the one who’ll fight the other Masters by proxy with Servants of their own, all of them famous figures plucked from history and legend (with some creative license, in some cases a lot). And throughout the course of the War, they form an admirable friendship.
I despaired over the fate of Kariya Matou, who was basically the character that every show like this has, the one that gets ALL THE CRAP thrown at him, and undeservedly of course, as he tried so hard to win just for the sake of saving a girl from the abuses of her adoptive family, even with the cards stacked against him.
I relished in the development of the villain Kirei Kotomine, who could’ve just come off as your typical priest-that’s-secretly-a-bad-seed, but instead is SO much more than that, and it’s awesome.
Then there’s Gilgamesh, the sort of OP, arrogant villain you love to hate, but also the kind that has the power to back up his boasting being master of the universe.
Then you’ve got Saber, i.e. King Arthur, who despite apparently really being a girl named Arturia, all this time, still lives up to the namesake of the legendary King of the Britons.
And of course, my favorite of all, Kiritsugu Emiya. The relationship he shares with his wife, Irisviel von Einzbern, and their daughter, Illya; the motivations for why he does what he does unfolding as the show progresses, culminating in him finding redemption in at least being able to save the life of his eventual-adopted son, Shirou from the War’s fiery collateral damage at its climax; the epic rivalry between him and Kirei Kotomine; the way his methods clash with Saber’s chivalric values; the fact that he gets all of the best qualities of what I love so much about Takashi Takeuchi’s character designs. (Which is another way of saying he’s drawn so appealingly to me that he’s made it to #1 on my list of husbandos. That’s right, I said it!) The whole story and arc of his character is one of the, if not the, most poignant things I have ever seen in an any form of media. Never has a character made me physically ache at the thought of everything he went through, combined with the bittersweetness of his and Irisviel’s love story, as well as that of his love for Illya.
It’s basically everything I’ve ever wanted in a story’s emotional core or emotional foundation, and definitely served as a turning point in terms of my own writing, particularly seeing as how it’s a feels dynamic I’ve wanted to write for years. So thank you for that, Type-Moon: somehow, some way, much in the way that the universe miraculously weaves together a human being by a near infinite number of factors, you’ve managed to craft my own personal Holy Grail of an emotional story component.
Indeed, since the discovery of the Kiritsugu x Irisviel ship (an underappreciated gem depending on who you talk to), I haven’t found any ships to exceed that level of emotional perfection. I’ve found ones that come close, even ones that equal it, but thus far, in my eyes, Kiri x Iri is unrivaled, and probably never will be.
Sadly, this scene was not in the anime. Just in the Realta Nua re-release of the Fate/Stay Night VN game for PSP. 😩
In terms of ones that have equalled it though, one of those came unsurprisingly from another Type-Moon work, the aforementioned Kara No Kyoukai, and its main romantic core of the delightfully darkly complicated relationship of Ryougi Shiki and Kokutou Mikiya. That was another pleasant surprise. I had already fallen hard for Fate/Zero and everything it had to offer, but I’d heard of Kara No Kyoukai before that. It had been on my to-watch list for a while, but I’d say that learning that it takes place in same universe as Fate, the Nasuverse that is, it sort of drove me to get my hands on it a little sooner.
Tumblr media

not nothing heart, with Shiki and Mikiya (OMG the feels)
My first copy was, admittedly, one of those many, many bootlegs floating around eBay (hem, hem), but at long last (especially since I got a bluray player (FINALLY) for this past Christmas), I was able to purchase the beautiful bluray boxset release of all seven movies, plus the special edition bluray for the Recalled Out Summer extras, because why not? Sure, again, the latter works basically as a sort of sweet but small desert to a large delicious main course, but that sweetness is worth it regardless, because it’s sweet, especially when you get treated to sweet strawberries in that sweet strawberry Hagan-Dasz ice cream of an extra story of things like seeing that (SPOILERS) Shiki and Mikiya eventually have an adorable little daughter named Mana, who for her limited screen time, does indeed seem to be the perfect blend of her parents. Plus it’s just great to see something so normal yet wondrous result from a romance that if not for a saving grace or two, probably would’ve ended in bloody tragedy.

So yeah, I’ve come to learn that when it comes to Type-Moon, where romance and personal relationships come in, the writing nine times out of ten shines (with the first true failure to connect with me coming in Fate/Extra Encore, and even then, because of the production studio behind it, it at least benefited me with flashbacks triggered by similar imagery used in another one of my favorite anime, Madoka Magica).
Again, sorry I haven’t been able to get into Tsukihime, but I’m not completely blind. There’s that anime adaptation that doesn’t exist ha, ha. In all seriousness though, I’m familiar with the basic premise, and some of the plot points seem to overlap other Type-Moon works. Plus there’s Wikipedia.
And Carnival Phantasm! Which is a little series Type-Moon produced as a celebration of their ten-year anniversary, something to reward the fans for being fans, and while I was at a disadvantage where a lot of the Tsukihime material came up, I still enjoyed it well enough, going on what I knew. But seeing as how Fate is arguably the most successful Type-Moon franchise, the ratio of Fate to Tsukihime material was almost 2:1. Which was awesome, as I basically got to see Type-Moon not only poke fun at itself and parodize its own characters, but actually give a sunnier if brief existence for some of these characters (because quite a lot of Type-Moon characters’ actual lives are SUCKY to put it lightly).
Tumblr media
Screenshot of the Carnival Phantasm OP
For as sprawling as the lore of Type-Moon’s stories have grown, particulary with their Fate/Grand Order online game which seems to explore every single available Heroic Spirit that can be summoned as a Servant for your very own Holy Grail War, and the events of which have also been getting adaptations (the most recent exploring Gilgamesh’s past, and that has me intrigued if I’m being honest), there’re so many buried gems to find in there in terms of character and ideas and thoughts on life. Kara No Kyoukai in particular tends to philosophize quite a bit and contemplate things like reality, time, identity, balance, building a foundation for the world as a whole according to the Nasuverse. A bit like comic books, Fate in particular is one of those things where it’s debatable anymore where one should start, some answers being more correct than others, but once you find a place where you dip your toe in and get accustomed to the water, it’s easy to get wrapped up in what it’s various stories centered around the Holy Grail War are concerned.
I love stuff like that, and I’ve been inspired in my own work not just by Type-Moon on its own, but studio ufotable as well, which seems to be the ultimate Fate adaptation machine. Sure other studios do some of the lesser known titles (again like Extra), but ufotable got the reboot of Fate/Stay Night‘s second route, Unlimited Bladeworks, the adaptation of Fate/Zero before that, the film trilogy adaptation of the final Fate/Stay Night route Heaven’s Feel, and even the lighthearted quasi-AU Today’s Menu for Emiya Family, which is the Stay Night story if it was taken over by a cooking show, almost like Carnival Phantasm but not a parody, and still acknowledging the darker parts of the Fate universe, if distantly. Something about the care ufotable puts into their characterizations, along with the animation and art quality and the awesome voice-acting for the seiyuu and English VAs that end up getting casted (although I’m aware where the English casts are concerned that comes from the western licensing company that picks it up and not actually studio ufotable).
And then with Kara No Kyoukai, also made by ufotable, you get an expanse on this universe and its mechanics. It’s a bit vague on how magic works in both this and Fate, but I’ve actually found the idea of basing fantastic elements in the real word fascinating, not urban fantasy but something more than that. And the concepts it brings up. Like people having these things called “origins”, a certain trait from which their soul or being originated from within the Akashic Record, or “The Route” that once “awakened” in a person causes that trait to consume them. So if a person’s origin is “to consume”, and that’s awakened in that person (this requires a mage and the consent of the person who’s origin is being awakened), then they’ll say
embrace their desire to slaughter people en masse and then literally consume them afterward. Like this guy.
Tumblr media
Ryougi Shiki vs. Shirazumi Lio – get him, Shiki, get that crazy S.O.B.!
Yeah, that’s the other thing. Apart from the things like origins and The Root or “Akashic Record” (which from what I’ve gathered is like the source of “everything” with a capital E: life, the universe, everything, and no, it’s not the number 42), Type-Moon’s world is what I like to call “beautifully dark”. Not a particularly unique thing, but either way, Type-Moon pulls it off well. There are moments of levity, but there are also very grotesque and disturbing goings-on underneath all that beauty, and even those things are beautiful in their own way. Sure, there are things like vampires or “dead apostles” floating around, and there’s a fair bit of bloody death, but then you’ve got corrupted Heroic Spirits who steal your heart and drink the blood from it like they’re squeezing the juice from a prickly pear, eye-powers that allow for a person to twist anything they want with their mind (including living human bodies), tentacle monsters crushing small children, souls jammed inside puppet bodies that start to fall apart to reveal their meaty, gear-riddled interiors, and life-sucking, magic-giving worms that consume the bodies of their hosts from within (okay we’ll file that under “beautiful grotesque”). And then there’s the aforementioned bloodthirsty killer whose origin is to consume and thus consumes the corpses of his victims (yeah, that Shirazumi Lio guy, see above, he does that)
when he doesn’t do weird stuff like contort them and mark them with the yin-and-yang symbol.
Just to list a few.
The name for Kara No Kyoukai in English is usually The Garden of Sinners, though Kara No Kyoukai literally translated actually means “The Boundary of Emptiness”. But a garden full of sinners is apt for one of the titles in the Type-Moon universe. In some ways that and things like Fate almost transcend storytelling when adapted well, and with godly animation and music (both Fate/Zero and Kara No Kyoukai‘s OSTs were composed by the incomparable Yuki Kajiura, who’s practically the authority on darkly beautiful and epic themes) to back up the engaging storylines.
And speaking of Yuki Kajiura, I’d like to take this moment to not only give props to her work with Fate adaptations, but Hideyuki Fukusawa as well, the main OST composer for the Unlimited Bladeworks reboot, as well as Kenji Kawai, who composed the OST for the original 2006 Fate–that adaptation might have its drawbacks, but that OST does wonders and is seriously underrated, especially considering this is the guy who composed the OST for the original Ghost in the Shell film.

Nothing is perfect, but nevertheless, this is a fictional world that I have fallen irrevocably in love with, much in the same way I did with Harry Potter, though I’ve grown since then. And I just wanted to extend and express that appreciation and love to something that has inspired me and the way I approach my writing going forward so incredibly.
So, thank you, Type-Moon, for the awesomeness you offer, in all its forms. You have my most sincere and utmost praise and respect. I hope that even when the last of the Fate routes, Heaven’s Feel, has finally received its full and deserved adaptation in the trilogy of films, that this is not the last the world will see of your wonderful content. You have more than earned your loyal and adoring fan base ten times over. You are amazing! ❀
Love Letter to Type-Moon Man, there is nothing that puts me in a fouler mood than when I let my own personal procrastination demon get the better of me on a perfectly free Saturday to the point that I don't start getting any writing done until after 2 in the afternoon.

Tekton Tool Review - Hand Instruments At Harbor Freight Tools
Tekton Tool Review - Hand Instruments At Harbor Freight Tools
Tekton Tool Review Just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand expertise with either of these audio system?  There's an enormous alternative for you if you happen to keep making good instruments or even make higher yet instruments. Unlike Amazon Reviews some A LOT greater-priced opponents, the broach depth on the Tekton sockets will permit you to slip them over a wider range of nuts/bolts with out bottoming out”.
There's robust competition for this award, but ultimately, the Greatest Bang for Your Buck title goes to the TEKTON 24335 torque wrench. After discovering them on Amazon and purchasing some massive impression sockets, we began to get more fascinated within the firm as a result of quality of the instruments and the price.
Tumblr media
Lastly the Tekton 24335 torque wrench incorporates a high distinction dual vary scale that is simple to learn in low mild and easy to make use of. My palms-on expertise with Tekton instruments remains to be restricted, not less than in comparison with my experience with extra acquainted tool brands corresponding to Craftsman and Stanley, but I do like what I've seen so far.
Over the previous few years we've reviewed many alternative instruments from Tekton, and overwhelming it has been a constructive expertise. The TEKTON torque wrench gives an accuracy of +/- 4%, which could be very aggressive considering the low price. TEKTON gear are known to have superior performances and this item is not any different.
I purchased about $a hundred and fifty in Tekton instruments final May, when there was a $5 off $30 promo at Amazon. I have a couple of select tools from Snap-On and MAC like swivel-head wrenches and a trim elimination equipment, but I am going to by no means purchase one in every of their comprehensive units due to the ludicrous costs.
As a result of I need to have the ability to assist my household and never should send them off to the laser mines for hard labor... I obviously can't afford Snap-on instruments at house. I additionally owned their impacts sockets (first instruments from Tekton) by which I used with my snap on affect cordless wrench 400 ft pound of torque BUT LIKE I SAID solely time will tell on how effectively they will final!
The Tekton Tool Review holder additionally has a small loop for hooking the set on a pegboard (most haven't got this feature). To me, Tekton was that cheap tool brand that I noticed on Amazon from time to time. Tekton truly began to move away from low cost instruments at low cost prices just a few years ago.
Lastly when looking for the very best torque wrench having one with a grip or non-slip textured base with increase your consolation and reduce hand stress. From what I collect Tekton makes some stuff right here.....er.......there.... but the majority is Taiwan, which I have zero issues with.
I am strongly contemplating Tektons and one of many issues that puts me off, together with the disorganized Tekton website and the variety of online complaints (typically much older) about Tekton service is actually the hyperbolic advertising copy.
One thing that no one has mentioned... Unless you have got a bunch of yankee cars.... You should get the LARGEST set of METRIC tools they promote from the catalog or on-line. Nevertheless, it's laborious to beat the worth of Tekton if you're not going to use them day in and time out.
So plunk down 23 bucks on this locking air instrument holder and your life will be full. Lifetime guarantee - they may change any hand software at any time for any reason, no questions asked, no receipt - simply stroll into any store. Extra twist-to-lock clips can be found (TEKTON #18813) and can be added to back of holder to store up to 30 sockets.
General Quality rating of four.5/5 and top-of-the-line worth for cash multi tools on the market. So I wasn't surprised that several discipline editors picked the automotive stethoscope as their favorite tool. Examine using the desk beneath and browse the evaluate on every model that can assist you select.
Carmakers love to put in relays and management containers in deep, dark places beneath your sprint, and there is not any way to get massive instruments in there to loosen the hex-head screws. So it is no shock that his tool of selection is a transportable 1/2-in.-drive affect wrench.
As Lyman told us, these are great when clearance for the device is minimal.” Folding kits are additionally helpful because of their portability and better ergonomics (you can also't lose an individual wrench), but they're sometimes a bit of bulkier.
What's more, we predict the tekton air tools review torque wrench is put collectively effectively and nicely finished. The general opinion is very constructive: the Tekton 54004 has a median score of 4.5 out of 5. It's seen as a fantastic selection for the home workshop.
Tumblr media
By submitting your email deal with in connection with your ranking and overview, you agree that Lowe's, its distributors and its third get together service providers may use your e mail tackle to contact you concerning the status of your overview and other administrative functions.
BTW, the whole patent thing that some take offense to is comparatively current and Tekton established their rep effectively earlier than it. Any serious DIYer is aware of that a house tool assortment is lacking with out a bench vise. Additionally, having that sort of locking mechanism takes up area and results in a bigger, dearer device.
Mannequin 81916 is a 22 piece metric set, and mannequin 81917 is an 18 piece set of SAE instruments. There are particular Tekton tools I'd most likely never go near, such as their drill bits, but given the tools I purchased and those Tekton despatched over, I've a nice number of instruments to check.
I do not know, like I said I needed to love the 1859 software set or just the quality itself much more so to me they are just ok or first rate and could possibly be so much higher. Generally all it's essential to do is e-mail them an image of the damaged device and in many cases Tekton will have a alternative shipped out that day; Now that is Customer Service!
There's a thread right here nominally about the Tekton Pendragons , however in direction of the tip there are a selection of Double Impression homeowners involved, and so they've been very impressed. After almost 60 hours of fan analysis that included air flow tests in a customized duct, we found the $60 Seville Classics UltraSlimline 40″ Tower Fan is the perfect room fan for most people.
I feel the only TEKTON tool I personal is a Third Hand with Magnifier for my workbench. Torque is well set by rotating the handle, and while we favor the final really feel of CDI's wrenches , the Tekton still holds its personal quite properly. What they have found is that small changes in instruments and products could lead to vastly improved user experiences, with solely minor bump-up in value.
As well as, in the event you wish to share feedback with us about product selection, pricing, ordering, delivery or different customer support points, please do not submit this suggestions through a product assessment. Throughout the method we consulted with consultants, device blogs, mechanic shops and other reliable sources to pick out our top choose.
Seems like I'm returning the Husky tools I obtained at House Depot and heading over to Sears. Store our selection of TEKTON, Hand Device Units in the Instruments Division at The Dwelling Depot. I've been assured that even more redesigned tools are slated for release this yr.
It just has to be bought to me. Third Hand with Magnifier is a good instance of this. Past this, the TEKTON circumstances have been the only ones that folded open, permitting easy accessibility notably to the smaller wrenches (that are probably the most tough to get out).
Tools are accessed with ease, and the general look of the piece is kind of trendy and enticing. Fortuitously, Tekton has rapidly been emerging as the go-to company for inexpensive tools, together with tools with moving elements that require some precision.
I loathe having to cope with customer service when a instruments fails or I come throughout a producing flaw. They're made of a proprietary substance referred to as Protanium Steel, and in response to Bondhus, they are 20 p.c stronger than Chrome Vanadium tools like the TEKTONs.
But once you really learn the insurance policies of these lifetime” warranties you come to find out they sometimes make it near inconceivable so that you can ever even get your broken device changed. The Mountain 16250 Drive Torque Wrench has a wide variety for such a low-cost instrument; only the Snap-On comes near approximating it. Whereas that may seem like an advantage at first glance, owner feedback suggests it can be one thing of a weak point.
I consider Tekton a big step up from Neiko and can proceed to purchase their merchandise as long as they keep up the quality! The TEKTON wrenches are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, but there are others, like our Bondhus runner-up set, which might be manufactured from a more sturdy material (a minimum of in keeping with the producer).
Tekton 54004 weighs 15 pounds, making it one of many lightest fashions on our listing. It will be nice if Eric over at Tekton would submit some graphs and more detailed specs though. Tekton started off by promoting a few of the better tools that their dad or mum firm, Michigan Industrial Tools, had been importing for resale.
After we have been on the lookout for a large set of combination wrenches that might be used exhausting once they had been out of the device box, we regarded to Tekton for a top quality product that met our funds. The problem with Tekton wrenches is that the ones from Taiwan (full polished combos in an Ernst wrench rack) are great but, those bought in a roll are PRC made and will not be as nice.
We're searching for high quality instruments right here, nevertheless it simply does not make sense to shell out almost $eighty for two units of hex keys. You needn't leap by means of 10 completely different hoops to get a alternative tool then only to seek out out you need an unique receipt which your throw away years ago.
It's very doable to get by with a single kit of lengthy-arm, ball-finish wrenches just like the TEKTONs, but some folks including Lyman and myself additionally like to have a folding kit available. It's most likely slight overkill for the common house mechanic, but everywhere in the world, that is the device professionals choose.
There aren't any poor instruments here, however the best torque wrench is the Snap-on Industrial Model CDI Torque 2503MFRPH. That doesn't apply to energy tools, however their energy tools aren't one of the best anyway. While you come throughout a defect or break certainly one of their instruments and you don't suppose it's one thing that should of broke then you can call or electronic mail the corporate.
I'm no skilled mechanic by any means and I don't have a BIG 5ft tool box filled with instruments; I only have minimal tools that I want for my automobile retching habits. Remember, should you use exclusively a particular drive measurement in your impacts & air ratchets, you wont have to buy multiple socket units as a way to complete a job.
Torque wrenches are durable tools that can be utilized to tighten or loosen bolts and nuts into or out of supplies. The top optimistic evaluate with the client saying that the sockets are of fine high quality. There are a number of good hex sets within the $10-$20 vary and there is honestly little or no distinction between the wrenches themselves, so what actually sets the TEKTON apart is the case.
There are a variety of good hex sets in the $10-$20 vary and there is honestly little or no difference between the wrenches themselves, so what actually units the TEKTON apart is the case. Tekton is a division of Michigan Industrial Instruments , which is a family owned and operated hand tool firm that has been in enterprise for practically 50 years.
Tekton doesn't play those video games (that are particularly designed to forestall warranty claims by making it not cost-effective for you to pursue something). For ease of comparison, all instruments on this torque wrench evaluation have half-inch drives. This tool providesconsistency and accuracy in a straightforward to use instrument that even rookies can operate with ease.
Actually, the Tekton 54004 seems to offer the most effective worth when its price is taken into account in relation to its functionality. The low-priced Tekton Tool Review Torque Wrench is good for engaged on cars, mild vans, and any number of other moderate-obligation tasks.

Our Beloved Sponsors
We’re really thankful as an independent menswear blog to have sponsors, so twice a month, we like to thank them for their support. It gives us a chance to recognize them, as well as update our readers on their latest happenings.
For footwear aficionados, The Hanger Project just made a fifteen minute online video tutorial on how to create a high-gloss mirror shine -- one of the harder polishing techniques to do since it takes a lot of patience and a bit of know-how. Kirby, founder of The Hanger Project, leads you through the process in three easy steps. The things you see used in the video are also sold in his store: Saphir’s mirror gloss wax polish, Saphir’s Pommadier cream polish, a high-shine cotton chamois, and Saphir’s Pate de Luxe wax shoe polish.
Proper Cloth is gearing up for spring with some new warm-weather fabrics. Their Sienna Checks collection features colorful patterns that are simultaneously bold and office appropriate. The Genova Solids line, on the other hand, includes versatile, dark-colored solids that have a soft feel and matte finish. Pictured above are the new Portuguese seersuckers. The subtle texture here lends texture to any ensembles, while also creating enough breathing space to allow you to feel cool on a warm day.
Our friends over at Chipp Neckwear can now make ties to any length. Extra long ties can be bought at 60″ and 62″ lengths for just a $10 surcharge. Chipp can also shorten a tie with a blunt cut (cutting an inch or two from the tail and binding it) for $5 extra, or cutting the tail end and creating a point for $10. Paul, the store’s proprietor, notes that he’ll also be away the first two weeks of April. When he returns, he’ll be meeting customers at his NYC by appointment. You can reach him at (212) 687-0850.
Indigo & Cotton continues to get new spring arrivals. They have tubular knit tees from Velva Sheen (made with no side seams and cut with a vintage-inspired fit); unique woven shirts from Aime Leon Dore (including poolside shirts and safari shirts); and cotton twill shorts from Norse Projects (cut above the knee, but designed to not show too much thigh). You can also find some deals in their sale section. Take an extra 25% off already marked down prices with the checkout code PLUS25. That brings things such as the Gitman button-downs down to $76 and Howlin by Morrison Donegal sweaters to $81.
Meanwhile, Dapper Classics is gearing up for horse racing season. Look for their new derby-themed socks to hit their site soon. Like all of their socks, they’re made in the USA and feature hand-linked toes (which means they don’t have a seam at the front). And while you wait for those socks to drop, Dapper Classics is also offering an exclusive discount to PTO readers. Take 15% off anything in their store with the promo code PTO15. The code works on their popular tailored trousers, which now come down to $165. Sale ends Sunday night.
Finally, our thanks to Wolf vs. Goat. They just made some new tees and henleys, both of which are designed to be lightweight, airy, and breathable. The tees are constructed from Celliant- and Rexcell-wool blends, which give them a smooth and soft hand similar to Tencel. The henleys, meanwhile, are knitted from micro-model and Supima cotton fabrics. All of these help wick moisture, which will leave you feeling cooler and drier on hot days. You can read a review of some of these over at Reddit.

Doodle video creation software
Doodle videos are a great way to communicate your message in a fun and engaging way. With Doodle Video Creation Software, you can easily create doodle videos that are both entertaining and informative. The best part about using this software is that it is very user friendly and easy to use. You can simply select the images, add text, and then choose the animation style that you want. Once you have created your doodle video, you can then share it with others via social media or email.
Doodle video creation process
Assuming you would like a detailed explanation of the doodle video creation process:
The first step is to come up with an idea for the video. This can be done by thinking of a topic that would be interesting to discuss or by coming up with a creative way to show off your products or services. Once you have an idea, the next step is to create a script. This will help you determine what animations and graphics you will need to create. After the script is written, it’s time to start creating the actual video. This involves creating the artwork and animation for each scene in the video. Once all of the scenes are complete, they are then put together in sequence to create the final product.
Doodle video creation tips
Doodling is a great way to add some visual interest to your videos, and it can be a lot of fun too! Here are a few tips to help you get started:
1. Experiment with different mediums. You can use anything from pencils and pens to paint or even charcoal. Whatever you have on hand will work, so don’t be afraid to play around and see what looks best.
2. Think outside the box. A doodle doesn’t have to be traditional art – it can be whatever you want it to be! Be creative and let your imagination run wild.
3. Use contrasting colors. This will help your doodles stand out against the background of your video, making them more visible (and therefore more impactful).
4. Keep it simple. The beauty of a doodle is in its simplicity, so don’t overthink it! Just relax and let the pen flow across the paper (or screen).
How to create a doodle video
1. Before you start creating your doodle video, you need to determine the purpose of the video. Are you trying to promote a product or service? Or are you simply wanting to create a fun and creative way to entertain your viewers? Once you know the purpose of the video, you can start planning out the content.
2. Next, it’s time to start designing your characters and backgrounds. This is where creativity comes in! You can either design everything yourself or find templates online that you can use (there are plenty of both free and paid options available). If you’re not confident in your drawing skills, there are also some great software programs that can help with the creation process.
3. Finally, once everything is designed and ready to go, it’s time to start animating! This part can be challenging, but it’s also where a lot of the fun comes in. There are various animation techniques that you can try out until you find one that works best for your particular project. And don’t forget to add music and sound effects – they’ll make your doodle video even more engaging and entertaining!
Creating doodle videos
Doodle videos are a great way to add some personality and flair to your video content. They can be used to add visual interest, or simply to make your video more fun and engaging. There are a few things to keep in mind when creating doodle videos.
First, consider the overall look and feel of your video. Do you want it to be playful and light-hearted? Or more serious and informative? The tone of your doodles should match the tone of your video.
Second, think about the size and placement of your doodles. They should be large enough to be seen, but not so large that they dominate the screen. And they should be placed in strategic locations so that they complement the action onscreen.
Finally, don’t overdo it! A few well-placed doodles can go a long way. Too many can be distracting and take away from the impact of your video
Conclusion
If you’re like most people, you probably think of doodling as something that’s a complete waste of time. However, recent studies have shown that doodling can actually be beneficial for your mind and body. For example, did you know that doodling can help improve your memory?
So the next time you’re feeling bored or uninspired during a video conference call, try doing some simple drawings on a piece of paper. You might just find yourself getting more out of the experience than you ever thought possible!

Note
Are you doing okay? We haven't heard from you for awhile now. Hope you are fine and will come back to us soon.
I’m doing well, and thank you for asking!  I’m still on my scheduled break and still on track to return on January 30.  Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working through a backlog of freelance that I couldn’t make room for while I was working on DOTU, but I’m almost done with it. By the end of January, I’ll have finished two pretty complex book covers and four pieces of promo art for an awesome LGBTQ novel series I’ve done covers for since 2013.  Right now, I’ve knocked out 4 of the 6 illustrations, pending approval.  I’ll probably share the new art on my personal blog after the author and publisher go live with it, because I really like the way they’re turning out.
Also over the past few weeks, I’ve been hard at work on Merritt’s story.  It’s at 580 pages (oops, said 580k when I meant pages, but either way it’s long), and I’ve been working with my beta readers to get the first 2-4 months of chapters polished before launch.  By the timeline, it looks like we’re set to meet that goal.  I might push the launch date to mid-February in order to be better prepared and put out chapters at a more consistent pace, since DOTU will take so much of my time again in February.
A draft of the story’s cover went up on Patreon a week or two ago, too, and an excerpt went up at Christmas for $2+ patrons.
Today, I’m working on $10.01 art for Patreon, and I’ll be doing $10 sketches and $5 letters for the remainder of the work week, then it’s back to freelance for the weekend.  The week of 1/23, I get back to DOTU.  I’ll be thumbnailing the next scene, doing some environment design, and finally the actual page.
I’ve been a little more active on my personal blog, but well, it’s mostly just been a lot of ferret pictures because I can’t show any of the art or writing I’ve been working on until later.
But that’s what I’ve been up to!  It’s been super busy, but it still feels like a break because getting to indulge in prose writing for entire days at a time is something that never happens when I’m working on DOTU.
