zhongli was giving you the silent treatment. you two don't argue with each other, but this isn't the first you two had got into this situation.

childe invited you to the liuli pavilion for dinner with the traveler and paimon, but dinner was awkward when you two were giving each other a silent treatment.

"You can't stay angry forever, you know? It's not like it's very important." You sighed, taking a sip of your booze.

"…" zhongli didn't reponsed.

"Quit acting like a child and just forget about it." You scolded lightly, but Zhongli still didn't respond. "..."

"Uh…so, how was your trip?" childe asked awkwardly.

"..."

"Are those two in the middle of a quarrel?" paimon sweatdropped.

"I…It never happened before. I've never seen Mr. Zhongli so angry…" childe whispered to Paimon.

"...Very well…I will take my leave. Enjoy your dinner without me." you said calmly before walking off.

"Mr. [Y]! Wait!" paimon called out for you, but you chose to ignore it.

zhongli sends you a worried glance. he has this bad feeling that he's going to regret this. worried, he thinks about how he's going to apologize to you by tomorrow.

the next day…

zhongli woke up to see that you didn't return home last night after dinner, making zhongli more concerned about your condition.

 

the former geo archon sat alone at the dining table and waited for you until a knock on the door interrupted his breakfast. he was hoping that it was you, but unfortunately it wasn't you. it was lumine, paimon, and childe.

"Oh, it's you three. Not today. I'm not in a mood for wine." zhongli sighed as he's about to close the door, but childe stopped him from closing the door with a big frown on his face.

"We have…some bad news…" childe mumbled.

"...? Why are you telling me?" zhongli questioned.

"...W-well, we received something from the restaurant this morning about the waiter who works there." lumine mentioned. "A report that he poisoned the booze that…Mr. [Y] was drinking…"

"...Come on now. [Y] is Lucas, the Bringers of The Light. He is immune to poison." zhongli chuckled nervously.

"..." the trio stood quiet.

"...Right…?" zhongli asked with worry, already feeling his heart thumping. "Please don't make that face. I'm curious. Is he alright…?"

"We're sorry…"

zhongli gasped and slowly backed away, "T…that's not true. There is no way…"

why did such a small argument turn into a big tragic end for you?

you were pissed off at how aggressive xiao is. the argument just happened so fast, but it was later cut short after xiao just walked off from the argument.

although, xiao wished that the argument never happened and he wished that he was able to protect you on time, but he was too late.

"Why did it have to end this way…?" xiao gritted his teeth, holding onto your lifeless body. "We have an argument for nothing…"

ayato

"Can you be any more reckless?" ayato argued with you as he followed you in the hall. "How could you put yourself up for this?"

"Shut up. Why complain about shit? I'm only gonna face Raiden Shogun myself." you mentioned.

"That's the problem! If you go face her alone, you won't survive! Just think!" ayato complained.

the argument begins after thoma escapes raiden shogun's grasp, thanks to the traveler. you wanted to head over and seek revenge because you had enough of the vision hunt. you will take the matter in your own hands, but ayato couldn't let you do it on your own because he's afraid of losing you.

"Are you saying that I'm not strong enough! I'm strong enough to take her out just like I take out Sara!" you snapped.

"...I'm saying this is a death wish! Just because you take out Sara doesn't mean you can take out the god of eternity!"

"Screw this argument! I don't have time for this crap!" you finished before heading out of the shrine, ignoring ayato yelling your name.

"[Y]! [Y]!" ayato cried out, but you were already gone. "...That idiot…Why is he…?"

an hour later, ayato thought you would come back safe and sound and gave up, but you haven't returned back home. he was going to go out and look for you, but it was until he received devastating news from his sister, ayaka. there were no signs of you, except a broken katana was in his sister's palm.

"...Why are you giving me this…?" ayato asked with a forceful smile. "This isn't [Y]'s katana, is it?"

"..."

"Is it?!"

"...He passed after his loss in battle with the god of eternity…" ayaka quivers her lips. "...There's nothing but his katana…in a bad shape…"

"..." ayato fell to his knees, staring devastatingly before breaking down.

an instant regret. why didn't he just go after you? why didn't he just let you off? why? why? why?

     " i'd appreciate it if you did not stare at me as though i'm a lost dog, y'know, " the man gruffly said with a glare pointed towards his companion behind him. hands steady on the bowl and wooden spoon, folding the sticky mixture over and in with an eased mind. you giggle back as a reponse, knowing the man would only be more annoyed by it, though it was a pity his back was turned to you so you didnt get the satisfaction of seeing his irritated face.

     brushing off your prying eyes on the bowl and spoon he held, scaramouche (or whatever he was called at this point) pushed the wooden spoon into the mixture and flipped the page of notes and recipes he was given by his caregiver and aunt. reading the instructions with a finger underlining the words, scaramouche mumbled quietly before returning to mixing for a short moment. then leaving the bowl to the side, and near you.

     " can i? " a simple enough question in reference to the gold tinted mixture in his bowl. and surprisingly, not missing a beat, the man handed you a spoon absent-mindedly for some taste testing ( maybe allowing you to do so would be nice enough of the man for nahida to deem him growing as a person. but it didn't stop the small glance he sent your way while you were preoccupied with tasting whatever the hell he was making, indirectly asking your for an opinion. )

     he turned away once again to mix something else in another bowl, humming quietly to himself a song of his past. focused on completing his task was he. cute, you thought as he continued doing whatever.

     quite honestly, throughout the whole process of it you thought the amount of effort and focus he had committed to the " house husband " bit ( though you could never really admit you thought he looked like one at the least ) was beyond amusing, more so inspiring to an extent.

     " are you sure you know what you doing there, man? " you coo at him when he abruptly stops and begins to scan the page, word for word, for something you could guess was an instruction. " better than you, for sure, " he barked back his response with slight uncertainty, but nonetheless you didn't call him out on it.

     eventually deciding to scrap the whole second project and focus on the first one he let you taste. tossing you a second spoon ( after the first was thrown into the sink ) and taking one for himself. a soft sigh escape his lips before pulling a stool out from under the counter next to you. scaramouche pulled the bowl close and scoped some of the mixture. " what? it's edible, is it not? eat, " he spoke abruptly, quieter than usual.

     the moments that passed were silent, eating of the snack he gave up on actually completing it. though mostly the time was filled with subtle glances looking back at you, eyes filled with soft admiration.

     " happy birthday, kuni. " he choked on his spit, surprised beyond comparison.

     " w-what—? " he choked out once again. " what did you ah-ugh, say? — eyes widened and mouth agape as he tried to calm his shock, it has centuries, he thinks, since someone had wished him — " my birthday? "

     " ye, the third. nahida told me, " you replied without missing your own beat, blinking back at the man who seemed to had seen a ghost. " you clearly don't like much so, uh-m, here. " you passed a small box to him, smiling lightly and scooping a spoon-full up.

     at first he gave it a suspicious glance, gently sliding the box with his middle and index fingers towards him. " what is it? " voice light with soft excitement as he shook the box slowly to gauge the weight. you offered no reponse. scaramouche scratched the top with a blunt nail.

     lifting the box's lid still rather suspicious of your intentions, only to see a pair of rings well crafted sat beautifully inside on dark tissue paper. a pair of simple duller gold bands fitted for him.

     words caught in his throat like a cough, though the flowers that tickled the soft skin trickled through the gap between his lips like a small stream of cool water rushing. " this? " he mouths his words carefully before picking one of the two with his pointer finger and thumb. " its for me–?" unsure.

     " yep, " you answered him honestly before taking it from him. " gimme your hand, kun. " you pulled his right hand holding his fingers, lifting his middle finger with your pointer. you carefully slid the ring onto his finger, adjusting it so it sat hugging his finger comfortable. a smile lit your face upon seeing it on him, not noticing the blush that was dusted on his cheeks.

     " looks good, don't you think? " the proud shine of your eyes blinded him, he nodded slowly. " c'mon, don't leave a job half done, " he commanded you while pushing the second of the pair in your hand. with a playful glare back to him, you did as previous and as he asked.

     staring at his hands, fingers held in your hands and the rings shiny slightly, you felt your hard work having been paid off now that you see it on display. he grinned softer at your happiness, grateful you cared enough to get him something as beautiful as simple as the pair of rings he now wore.

     the second you looked up and his body on auto pilot, he inched closer until he closed the gap and his lips were against yours. light as morning dew, he moved gently against your lips, the morning warmth burst across his chest before he moved back. the feeling of his lips on yours lingered, and he could say the same about you. " you are welcome– " you laughed heartly before lifting his knuckles to your lips, kissing each one with a gentle softness at made his chest swell.

     " thanks. i guess, " he mumbled under his breath before moving to go back to eat the snack he made once upon a time ago.

     the day he once dreaded so much now felt like a sweet fairytale created just for him even if he didn't like nor cared for them. though he couldn't deny that this felt like you were one.

Oh you'd be surprised to know that demon!Céleste was designed way before I even made a post about her! There's a bit of story behind her conception:

I think it was around 1-2 years ago? That me and my friend poppy (@poplyy_ on twitter!! :D) were toying around with AUs regarding our own characters and loved to mess with swap AUs in particular.

For context, both of us had angel characters completely unrelated to one another, but we still liked to imagine them in different scenarios and what their designs would be like in these alternative universes. Naturally, when it comes to having angel characters, you of course would want to imagine what they would look like as demons, right? I initially thought of demon!Céleste to be all black and fuzzy, like her friend Picco, but never had gone as far to have drawn it.

Poppy drew her own version of demon!Céleste for fun, and I immediately disregarded my initial design idea for hers, because I loved the concept of a red imp so much:

It was from there that I wanted to draw demon!Céleste as an adult, using adult Céleste's base design and basing it off of Poppy's doodle:

Which answers your question, that Caramael was indeed also given a demon design to match with Céleste haha! Immediately after drawing Céleste, I turned to her champion, as I thought demon knights would be really cool as a concept.

They both later got updates in their AU designs though, I had to give demon!Céleste hair because my friends kept making fun of the fact that she looked a little bald compared to her angel design where her wings made her look fluffy LMAO

Demon!Caramael was also made black+white as opposed to black+red so that he could contrast with demon!Céleste better :]

It was from that point where I just self indulged in my own characters and continued playing with these AUs, thinking about their potential and what different interpetations can be done with them :]

This is my first fanfiction, so I do apologize for any misakes!

This just some silly headcanon I had in mind ever since I found out David killed Red during an argument or something.

After a long day,

David slowly walks up from the basement. With tiny bloodstains stuck to his clothes he makes sure not to make any noise.

...Creak...

Not wanting to wake his flatmate up, he carefully closed the door as he steps out.

Sigh

The place was pitch black as it was quite late into the night, he heard another creak it was definitely not his footsteps nor the door he had just closed.

A door slowly swung open and the yellow-ish light from the lamp shines out of the room.

"David?"

He jumped at his name being said by a familar yet tired sounding voice. He turned in the direction of the voice to find...

"You're up late... y'alright?" Said the red headed male said as he rubbed his eyes with the end of his jumper's sleeve.

"Says you... Why are you up?" He responded with a shaky voice and chuckles in between words.

"I have an assignment due tomorrow... you were taking care of those puppets?"

"Y..yeah, I was." He went silent for a few seconds before continuing

"Y'know, it's getting really late... I should probably head to bed."

He tried making his way across the room without being seen in the light as quickly as he could but was stopped by the sudden approach of Rowan.

"Actually, could you come check this for me real quick?" Rowan takes a couple steps foward and reached his hand out for David's.

"I'd love to but—" He swiftly pulled back. "-m..maybe in the morning."

"C'mon mate, it won't be long. Promise."

"I—" Before he could elaborate any further, he was pulled by the hand. Pulled in enough into the light for Rowan to notice the stain on his sleeve.

"What?" The red head let out a concerned whisper to himself. He looked up to get a clear view of David's panicked expression.

"Listen, Red- haha! It's just—" He was left stunned and lost for words to explain himself.

The silence lingered for a few seconds.

.

"You hurt youself... didn't you.?"

"Y-Yeah! Y'know how clumsy I am, heh, it's—"

Red knows he didn't. He's heard that tone before, he's seen that face before. He didn't.

"You didn't." He gave a cold stare, waiting for confirmations, any at all.

There was none.

Just stunned silence from the two.

"David, we've gone over this! Is this really something we need to talk about?!"

He paused to take in a couple breaths before continuing.

"None, NONE of this should've never even happened in the first place!"

David contemplates on his reponse before he finally decides on his words.

"Oh come on, I had to!" He threw his right hand up in frustration and to accentuate his statement.

"Haven't you realized yet? This... reanimating thing, it's- It's life changing! We can do something with this!"

.

Both David and Rowan have been arguing for a little over an hour. They've tried presuading one another but neither of them seems to even consider their choices. Furthur into the argument, objects have started being tossed around. With the shouting growing louder with each sentence, eventually one of them must put a stop to all of this.

"I can't do this anymore! I'm sorry but I'm calling the police!"

Rowan stormed off, back into the room he came out of nearly two hours ago. Slamming the door shut as he went in, all that's left was David and his thought, alone in a dark room.

David's mind was elsewhere, all of this was just too overwhelming to comprehend.

He then processed what his friend had just said... the police? Surely this can't be happening.

He started pacing back and forth, thinking of ways to convince his friend. His worry grows more and more the longer Rowan was in the room.

In the mist of panic, he rushed back downstairs to find something, anything. His eyes laid upon a pair of scissors that was on his workbench.

The door opens the same way it did before... The yellow light shines out, as it did...

"Hey David... I–"

"David..?"

Let me tell you, I contemplated A WHILE whether I should post this or not.

I thought it was pretty corny since I have absolutely no experience in writing fanfics... I wrote this even before I posted my first post about this AU but I never wanted to share it, so after more and more information flows in I slowly add more to the writing. The third book is just about how to like not react to things that upset you and it's based on Buddhist principles.

you chase after him, demanding he take responsibility for the kiss and your speedy heartbeat. when you finally catch up to him, the two of you fall on the ground, yelling as the cold water hits you.

"i love your birthday, y/n. it's warm and we can come to the beach. you're literally my summer," he says, looking at his hand holding yours in the water.

you don't know what to say in reponse so you just shuffle closer and rest your head on his chest. he squeezes your hand tightly under the water, knowing you return each and every one of his feelings for you.

NATASHA IS BACK! The Black Widow trailer dropped on Tuesday, and every second of it was amazing. I really missed Natasha as she's such an integral character in terms of Marvel, and to get one good glimpse (albeit 10 years late) of her life pre SHIELD is amazing. The movie comes out May 2020!

Now... we're all aware that GOT7 isn't respected like they should be, especially by the MAMA. It wasn't any different this year either, but I'd like to focus on the positive.

GOT7 received 2 awards at MAMA; Best Dance Performance, and World Fan's Choice. The boys did a stellar performance which is no surprise there, and looked handsome to the point of trying to kill me.

And of course you can't have GOT7 at an award show without them being absolute crackheads. Bambam was his shy self when the camera pointed at him, and his derp face when JB was giving his speech was priceless. And the boys had their table confiscated due to water bottle flipping, playing with the lamps, and just general 5 year old behavior.

But of course THE moment that everyone is talking about is this:

JYP for some reason decided to perform and his outfit was...yeah. Jackson's face explained what we all was thinking and it ended up going viral. Leave it to Jackson Wang to be the most talked about person just for being himself.

Despite some people (Mnet, JYP, Korea) tried to put GOT7 down, the boys were the highlight of the event. And I'm proud that the boys will still shine no matter what.

3. FLIGHT LOG ASKS & UPDATES

So a couple of cool asks that I received this week hone in on Jackson and Yugyeom's abilities

I read at some point that you gave Jackson the power of invisibility. Considering what he has said in the past about that particular topic, how would others who know both of these facts about him react? -Anon

Jackson's abilities of invisiblility are fairly new, so he's got plenty of chances to mess around with them or use them in a fight. Since Jackson's abilities are either unpredictable and plentiful, the only people who know what his powers are are Dr. Strange, Tony, Daisy, and Mark to a certain extent. With the Avengers, they understand that Jackson's invisibility is a good tool to use, but for Mark and Daisy its used as a prank in which the general reponse is "Jackson I swear to God if you pull that again I will deck you in your face".

Just how far do Yugy's powers extend? -Anon

So this runs into spoiler territory so I can't say much, but Yugyeom is similar to Elsa in which its powerful and hard to control. However, you all will get the basis of Yugyeom's powers in the last chapter of Departure III. I know that sucks because the last time I updated was in August but I will try to make sure you all get a good amount of this story done before the year is done.

Kaeya told Diluc about this TikTok where you called your boyfriend by their name. Diluc was surprisingly fond of the idea and he would love to see his boyfriend's reaction.

"I'll be heading out."

You told Diluc, placing a kiss on his cheek before about to leave. Diluc waved, "Ok. Don't drink so late, [Y]."

You stopped for a split second before swiftly turning around and speed walked over to your boyfriend, "What?"

"I say, "Don't drink so late, [Y]." Is that what you want to hear?" Diluc asked.

"What the hell, babe? Are you crazy?" You asked, confused on if the red hair is either crazy or mad at you.

"Hm? Isn't that your name?" Diluc pretended to act confused, trying his hardest not to let out a small laugh.

"Yes, but what happened to [N] or honey or babe?" You asked like a confused puppy. "Are you mad at me?"

"No, just telling you to not drink so late." Diluc told you, patting you on your shoulder.

"???"

"Pfft…That was a prank, babe." Diluc snorted.

"That hurts, Luc." You whined.

"Quit being a baby. It's just a prank that Kaeya told me about."

"...Can I kill him…?"

"I won't stop you."

Kaeya

Kaeya is the type to tease his boyfriend, but it was backfired on him by you. Kaeya heard about this prank on TikTok where they called their boyfriend by his name. It will be the perfect revenge.

"Kae. Did you eat the last bit of cinnamon toast from the box?" You asked the periwinkle, who's sitting on the couch, watching TV.

"I'm sorry. I was hungry for breakfast." Kaeya apologized, leaving on the arm of the couch to face you. "Please don't be made…[Y]."

You sighed, knowing that you can't stay mad at your adorable boyfriend, so you'll just let it slide.

"That's you, [Y]~" Kaeya smiled.

"Are you mad at me because your teasing backfired on you and you're pulling up this prank to get revenge?" You inquired.

"...Hmph!" Kaeya pouted, turned around and crossed his arms. "Now that I think about it! You ruined this for me!"

"So, it's true~" you smirked, wrapping your arms around the male's neck from behind and placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. "You still love me, right?"

"...Hm…I hate it when you do that…" Kaeya sulked.

Zhongli

Childe is a bad influence. Letting this poor peepaw pranking his beloved by calling you by your name. Zhongli doesn't quite understand the whole prank of this, but he does want to see your reaction.

"[Y]...have you seen my coat?" Zhongli asked you, but you didn't reponsed. You were sitting on the couch, reading a magazine, ignoring your boyfriend calling you by your name. "[Y]...?"

He noticed that you were giving him a silent treatment, causing him to panic behind his calm expression. "[Y]...?"

Zhongli walked over to you and sat on your laps, burying his face in your shoulder, "Are you mad at me, honey…?"

"Hahaha. No. I was just playing with you." You chuckled, stroking the male's hair. "I cannot let Childe mess with your head again."

"He mentioned if I do it, he will buy me whatever I want." Zhongli mentioned.

"No he won't. I'm your boyfriend and I will do anything to get you what you want."
