It was hours of banging on his bedroom door before the woman came to it. “Caden — you have to stop,” she said, her voice gentle but stern.

“No!” Caden screamed, slamming his fists harder, kicking for good measure. His little boots made dark marks against the white frame, but it was too thick to break down. Maybe if he was bigger. One day he’d be big enough to knock down the big stupid ugly white door. “I want to come out! Let me out!”

“No Caden. It’s time for bed. Santa Clause won’t come if you don’t go to sleep, you know.” Her tone was playful, but Caden couldn’t suppress his sneer.

“I don’t want anything from Santa Clause! Fuck you! Let me out!”

There was silence for a long time before he heard a familiar sound — it was the tone as each of the keys were input on the security panel in the hall. He stepped back, narrowly avoiding a surge of electricity. It sent him further backwards as he felt the hairs on his arms raise and his bared his teeth, watching the woman step primly inside. He could hurt her if he wanted to. He was small, but she was frail looking. He knew from experience though that dracs weren’t far away and they were much /much/ bigger than him.

“Caden what’s wrong?” The woman asked, walking towards him. Her thin white dress flowed around her pale ankles making her look like a ghostly specter. He remembered his mom telling him a story the year before about a man visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve. She kind of looked like how he imagined the ghost of Christmas past would look.

“I hate it here. I want to go home! I want my dad and my mom and my brothers and sisters and my aunts and uncles! I want my family!” Caden stomped his feet, then threw himself to his knees and doubled over his large bed. He did like the bed, but he didn’t want to admit it. The blankets were so soft and warm.

“Oh Caden,” the woman said, quiet. “We’re your family now sweetie.” She knelt beside him and placed a delicate hand on his back.

“No you’re not!” Caden screamed. “I hate you! I hate all of you!”

The woman didn’t get angry like everyone else did when he screamed at them. She just looked sad. “I want you to be happy here Caden.”

“That’s not my name! I hate you! I want my mommy!”

“Well,” the woman said thoughtfully. “I know I’m not your real mommy, but I thought maybe I could be your new mommy.”

Caden looked at her, horrified, and buried his face in his arms. “You’ll never be my mom! I hate you!”

She sighed and rubbed his back for a long time. At first he was tense and debated at several points whether he should push her away or not. Eventually though, the contact felt nice and he couldn’t stop himself from sobbing.

When she stood, he grabbed her arm. The gesture felt uncomfortably desperate, even for him, so he squeezed hard until she winced. “I’ll be right back,” she said, as if sensing his fear.

He was calmer when she returned some time later with two boxes wrapped in elegant and festive paper. “Don’t tell your father,” she said, smiling. “You can open these ones tonight. One’s from your papa, and one’s from me.”

“You’re not my—“ he stopped, eyeing them, curious. What were gifts like in the city? His gifts in the desert were always something essential, or a toy his mom had made him out of found materials. He’d seen a lot of them under the tree during the Christmas party earlier that day, but they’d given him a pill that made him feel dreamy so all he could recall were colors and lights. He hesitated, then took the gift. She smiled encouragingly at him when he looked up at her.

He felt sick as he unwrapped the present, but couldn’t stop himself. It was too enticing. He stared hard at the colorful packaging, then glanced at the woman. “Have you ever shot a crossbow before? Charles thought you might enjoy giving it a shot. ‘He’s got a keen eye’ that’s what he said. He’s very proud of you, you know.” Caden didn’t like the idea of any of them being proud of him, and yet it made his chest stir. He bit the inside of his cheek, trying not to seem too excited. The arrows are foam,” she said. “But I think when you’re with your instructor at the ranges you can use bolts.”

“Okay,” Caden said, voice flat. He didn’t like his instructors. He didn’t like the scientists that were always analyzing him. He didn’t like the woman or the man or the girl that he had to live with. Sometimes it felt more like a reminder than a fact. Sometimes fighting everything was just confusing and hard.

“And now my gift!” Her voice was suddenly chipper, lilting, like she was singing a song. “I’m very excited.”

“It has holes in it,” Caden remarked, pointing to the packaging.

“Does it?” The woman grinned and pushed the box towards him.

He unwrapped it, heeding her warning to be careful, and pried open the top. Inside was a kitten lying asleep on a velvet bed. It purred as it did, likely dreaming of its own mother. When he picked it up it mewled, but barely stirred, instead curling up against his chest as he held it in his arms.

“Charles and I had been hiding him in our room since yesterday. It was so hard to keep it a secret! He’s an F1 Savannah. Very energetic, very talkative, just like you.” The woman clapped, pleased that Caden seemed placated now. “What will you name him?”

Caden wasn’t listening to her. He was staring instead at the little sleeping kitten, and then at the crossbow. He liked the gifts. He liked them a lot. They were thoughtful and seemed expensive. He didn’t want to like them though. His bottom lip trembled and his eyes filled with tears. The conflict in his chest was dripping poison through every inch of his body. He hung his head and sobbed again, the fight momentarily drained from his body.

He didn’t push the woman away when she pulled him into her arms or when she stroked his hair and sang to him. He didn’t want to like any of this, but it was getting harder and harder to remember what was so good about the desert in the first place.

He’s surprised when, for the first time in as long as he can remember, he’s woken up on his own accord. Not by a screaming toddler, not by a hyper seven year old running around the house. Not by an insanely loud alarm. But himself, for what reason he doesn’t know.

The silence is peaceful until he wakes up completely, and he sits up, alarmed at the suspicious silence. He turns to check the time, before turning to his wife, who’s sleeping next to him peacefully.

It’s just past seven, not as early as they’d been awoken since their daughter was born just over two years ago, but not as late as he thought, forcing himself to calm down. He’s about to stand, check on their kids, see what has kept them asleep this long, when the instantly recognisable footsteps of his son come rushing down the hall.

“It’s christmas!” the seven year old screams as he sprints from his bedroom to theirs, stopping in the doorway of his parents room. “It’s christmas!” he screams again, the second shout waking Emily as she squints her eyes. Aaron doesn’t have chance to stop his son from jumping right onto her, missing him by a mere inch, and the groan she gives out makes him flinch, and it makes Jack sit up instantly, wide eyes staring at her.

“Good morning,” she smiles to her step son, running a hand through his hair as she sits up.

“It’s christmas.” he smiles at her, before turning to his dad. “Can we go downstairs? Please?” he asks and Hotch smiles.

“Go and wake up your sister.” he says, and the boy cheers before jumping off the bed, his loud feet bouncing of the floor boards.

“Merry christmas.” Aaron smiles, bending down to kiss his wife.

“Merry christmas.” she grins, pressing another kiss onto his lips before their toddler makes her way onto the bed, wrapping herself into Aaron’s arms, a smile in her mother’s direction.

“Let’s go!” Jack shouts from the door, and the two adults laugh.

Aaron carries their two year old down the stairs, smiling to Emily as her face lights up at the wrapped presents under the tree. Her first christmas that she understands.

“Mommy look!” she cheers, pointing her finger towards the tree, and Emily smiles.

“I know.” she gasps, “do you want to see which ones are yours?”

The two year old nods eagerly as Aaron drops her to the ground and Jack cheers, rushing into the stack of presents under the overly large tree, their two year old not far behind him.

The two children scream, cheer, and laugh as they unwrap their presents, their smiles making the midnight wrapping they had to do worth it as they watch their joy.

“Next year, we’ll have to wrap them before christmas eve.” Aaron says as Emily yawns.

“We said that last year.” she points out, wrapping her hand in his. “We run out of time every year.” She tells him, smiling as he places a kiss to her lips, before turning when their children cheer once again.

Hours pass, and she looks towards the living room where Jack helps his sister with one of her new toys and she smiles, walking through towards the kitchen, a wrapped small box in her hands and a knot in her stomach that had been there for days.

They hadn’t planned this. Hadn’t been trying. They’d spoke about it, both agreed that having two was enough for now. That another child would be chaos, they’d agreed to that. So when two pink lines showed up on a test she would have bet money on being negative, her stomach knotted, her eyes widened and she stood in shock for what felt like days, before she hid in her draw.

Now it was time. She’d wrapped it in a bag, a small bow on it. A present for her husband because she knows even though it wasn’t planned, even though the timing is less than ideal, he’ll be happy, she doesn’t have to worry about that.

“Hey,” she smiles as she turns the corner, “I have something for you.”

“I thought we agreed we weren’t doing presents this year.” he said, raising an eyebrow at her as she holds up the bag.

“It’s just a little something,” she tells him, and he squints his eyes as her as he takes it, frowning at the odd shape wrapped up in the bag. He picks it up and his expression changes instantly as he realises what it is, and when he spots the two pink lines, his eyes snap up to hers, a smile on his face.

“Is this—” he stops, looking back down at it. “Your pregnant?”

“Yeah,” she laughs, “I found out a few days ago.” she says, smiling when he looks at her again, placing the test down on the table before kissing her.

“I know we said we’d wait and—”

“Best present ever.” he whispers and she laughs.

“Don’t let our other two hear you say that. They’ll get jealous.” she teases. “Three kids huh. Two under three and one under ten.” she says and he laughs.

“We’re never going to be able to get the wrapping done before christmas eve.” he sighs, and she laughs loudly, before turning towards the two under the tree.

A family. She had a family. How could she ever wish for anything more?

Gaze still focused on your original task, not even looking in his direction “Don’t trip over the-“ There's a loud thud, followed by an obscene groan, accompanied by an even louder “Fuckkk!” Which solidified he did in fact trip over the ....

Not that Jimin’s not equally as good of company as well, you were honestly just expecting Tae! The two of you were starting to put together the gift bags for next week's holiday party! Hints the hot ass mess all over the floor of your living room, it’s a disgusting pile of shopping bags and boxes! Everything from Amazon to Saks Fifth, at this point you aren’t even sure where the fuck your floor starts or ends! One thing you do know for damn sure is Hobi’s going to have an aneurysm If he sees it! Sooo, hopefully Tae shows up sooner than later...

It’s become a tradition, or at least since the companies been profitable enough to do so! First off, you’re love language has always been a combination of “Gifts” and “Acts of service, so shit like this is essentially second nature!

However, quality time has slowly slipped its way into the mix over the past couple of years as well! Especially considering it’s almost a luxury for the seven of you at this point but you try not to complain! I mean Namjoon and yourself just did an interview last week for Forbes 30 under 30 for fucks sake! But anyway, like I was originally saying this little party is your way of trying to give your staff a combination of all 3 said love languages!

Above everything else you all work your asses off well, aware this is far from a 9-5, yet they give you their best constantly! Yeah, it was built on the backs of you and your boys but it wouldn’t be were it is now without everyone else! So, with that being said the schedule is as follows! 

1.Bust ass and hit all of your year end deadlines by December 22nd. 

2.The holiday party is on the 23rd...

3. Thennnnnn....after that the companies closed until the 2nd of January! 

Well kinda, if we’re being real the 7 of you never fully stop working, but you damn sure plan to try! I guess it’s the beauty and the curse of having damn near everything accessible on your phone! I swear this morning Joon was washing your back whilst you read him the latest profit/loss update from Jin soooo......that’s that!

Everyone else however....off duty with pay!

Which brings us back to the original task at hand before Jimin showed up,prepping the gift bags that get handed out at said holiday party! The invite list is pretty exclusive honestly,outside of your staff, and there plus one, the other guests are typically the immediate crew/ talent used throughout the year on various productions! Oh, there’s also special little packages mailed out to a couple of the company's sponsors as well! So all together were looking at at least 100 gift bags give or take! Of course at this stage you guys go all out but that’s not what it’s about! It’s legitimately the thought that counts!

Little gestures like this just remind people that you care,that they’re on your mind even if they aren’t currently doing you a favor! That’s what sets Onyx apart, all the little things you do without even thinking about it! Coffee, donuts, catering on set for long shoots,or even the little kits Jimin brings with him to set for the models! Fully stocked with soothing cream, heating pads, the full nine! It’s actually sad how much of a rarity it is in your line of work! 

Obviously, it goes without saying that those types of gestures aren’t feasible for everyone....However there’s companies worth more than you that do amples less!

But anyway back to Jimin and Tae! As I mentioned when the door originally opened you were expecting a mop of silver locks as opposed to red! Baby boy ran out to pick up the custom gift bags from this Indie vendor in WeHo. Hint’s why you were expecting Tae instead, now, why Jimins here I have no damn idea! Clearly we’re about to find out and apparently it’s “Some Bullshit!”

Honestly outside of checking his OOTD you didn't truly look at him. Far too busy propped on top of your oversized dining room table sorting through a manusery of  “Thank you” cards!

Eyes flicking to the left ever so slightly as you hear him shuffle closer “I-yeah sure what bullsh-wait are you eating my DoorDash?!”

It’s the way you constantly have to remind yourself that jail will not be like Orange is in the new black! Because I swear you damn near chucked this martini glass at that fire engine red dome of his!

Jimin just shrugs, a little nonchalant and unenthusiastic, almost as if he’s inconvenienced actually...

“Mmm, depends on perspective” He deadass just stuffed two more fires in his mouth! You're literally going to strangle him! It’s borderline painful how hard  your jaw tick, eyes narrowed in his direction!

Brows arched so damn high your gonna end up needing Botox from the permanent crease embedding within your skin. “Perspect-your literally eating-“

Holding a solitary finger in your direction “Tae just text me and said look at your phone and text him back...with like, a million pouty faces. Also, different note, who changed the decorations I placed on the mantle?! “

Jimin’s hand is now resting on his hip, legitimately angry about these damn decorations! I think his neck even did a couple rolls in the process, and I’m willing to bet,before he leaves they will be swapped out again!

A frustrated groan attempts to leave your throat  though it goes unacknowledged as your lacking any ounce or bite! Far too fond of both of your boys to truly be agitated at the moment! Actually that’s a lie, you high key wanna punch Jimin but it’s fine ....

“That, would be Jin, he said they clashed with the table decor” Pointing to all of the gold, and maroon colored decorations donning the marble coffee table “So, if your pissed go curse him out because I could give less than a damn! Now where the fuck is my phoneeee”

Hopping off the table causing your oversized UCLA Alum hoodie to hike over your ass. Said ass is covered or barely covered considering your cheeky, red, ruffle little panties are in fact assless! A cute little bow perched right on top of your tailbone, as if to direct the eye where to go….

Jimin is now choking on stolen fires and yeah there’s a smirk on your face as you grab your phone!

Mmmmhmmmm...and to think, maybe if he wasn’t being such a brat you’d let him unwrap one of his gifts a little early!

“Yes baby?” It’s actually terrifying how quickly your tone, and entire demeanor just switched! Somewhat reminiscent to how you’d see a mom scold one child then baby talk another all in the same breath! 

Jimin without a doubt noticed too, lip jutting out in a pout and no matter how many times you roll your eyes you still find yourself leaning forward kissing it right off! He moans into it and you Instantly taste the tangy seasoning from your fries, especially once he tries to swipe his tongue past the seam of your lips. The feeling of that tiny piece of metal playing in his mouth almost distracted you, but alas...the notion immediately reminds you why you were irked to begin with! Without even thinking you lean back into nipping at his bottom lip, though...this is Jimin we’re dealing with here! So whatever you thought you’d achieve is now dead, because a needy little whine just rustled in the back of his throat 

Speaking of love languages,there’s another called “Physical Touch” which has the words Jimin Park written all over it. So with that being said you really should’ve already been prepared for whatever’s about to unfold.

It’s subconscious at this point, head dropping down to the crook of your neck, nosing up a vein like a neglected puppy! Squeezing your waist hard enough to damn near engrave his thumb print in against your hip bones! Well, clearly he doesn’t want you going anywhere anytime soon!   

So what do you do instead? Place the bag of food on the bar, hold the phone in one hand and bring the other up to play in his freshly dyed locks! I swear this man is a second away from purring so maybe he’s not a puppy after all. Suddenly his ring clanned fingers trickle down your spine heading south, flexing his palm to squeeze down around the swell of your ass! Shifting you forward so your chest to chest...

So, here you are trying to cater to both of your boys at once...lord help you!

This story was amazing! First of all, I love the comedy surrounding the entire situation, Hobi with his 8 trees and instigator Yoongi who also wants them to get their shit together for Hobi’s sake. I love all au’s but sometimes exes to lovers is difficult for me to side with because I don’t see how people can bounce back from so much hurt but in this story it felt very natural how they were able to find their way back together and I really enjoyed the insight to their relationship, especially near the end.

Ya’ll. Yoongi fics just truly hit different. The plot of this was so adorable and him going out of his way like that to keep her engaged was so cute and just very Yoongi like. I also just really loved the descriptions in this, like how oc described making the drinks, it just made everything seem so real.

ASDFGHJKL! Like, I really have no words for the way this made me feel. Like, ik it’s not a super healthy dynamic but the thought of a fixated Yoongi is.. I loved reading Yoongi being so fixated with oc and doing everything i his capability to meet her. I also was v interested in the part where he bumped into her and she didn’t react the way he expected because it made me think about how he (or any character’s with his mindset) cope when the fantast and reality don’t match.

Like, I genuinely can’t get my feelings out in a brief way so I’m looking forward to screaming about this in it’s own post.

Damn, I really love when a misunderstanding is such a big catalyst for a bunch of drama/angst. It just really ups the tension for me because as the reader I know it was a misunderstanding but clearly the character’s don’t, so it just makes me really eager to see how they make amends. I really enjoyed seeing them slowly make amends and grow. Also the buildup to them deciding to give the relationship another go made the ending soooo satisfying.

First of all, I really enjoyed that it was through his pov, i don’t typically read stories like that (I just don’t often come across them) but this still felt so natural that I didn’t even realize until right now, writing this comment. Also, the imagery was so well described and the anticipation built made this story so enjoyable.

I AM SO EAGER FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER TO COME OUT. Like, idk how I can even describe this correctly but this just feel so much like Tae...???? Like idk if that makes sense but just Tae being this v sensual man, but there still being more to him than that, just makes so much sense and even the word “indulgence” is just so sensual and reminiscent of him. Also, the storyline so far is something I’ve personally never seen before and I’m super invested in this world and story already. Very eager to see how their relationship progresses.

It’s the way I read this last night, it took me exactly an hour (3am to 4 am cause I’m a CLOWN), and I was so invested that I kept putting off sleep to finish it. Man, i’m a simp for this Tae (just like he is for oc lmao). I really enjoyed reading it and the mention of Jisoo earlier in the story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time wondering when things were gonna blow up. Everything was just so sweet and fluffy, and the confession really made me feel so soft for them both cause they both were so in their own heads and feelings they couldn’t see what was in front of them so I really enjoyed the confessions.

I genuinely don’t know how I can simp over this story in a short way but I’ll try my best. The characters are so complex and the storyline is twisted so many ways that make this so interesting to read and easy to become invested in. The way Jk is written, I understand why OC is lost on how to feel for him. Like, his actions are wrong, but actually meeting him and even seeing his though process, it’s hard to make him out to be the villian that his actions have categorized him as. I can’t wait to continue reading and write a full length comment about this!

I really enjoyed this, I love how aware of Jk and his boundaries the oc is and how she is cautious to walk the line and not push him too far while also letting him know how his actions make her feel. This just genuinely felt like a glimpse into a very real, very intimate relationship/moment and I loved that. I also just really love how this is written and I think you have a beautiful way with words.

Idk if I’ve ever said it before, but I just love how you write relationships. Like, I can feel how comfortable they are with each other and how natural being together is for them. With your stories generally it just never feels forced and I really love that. I also really liked that we got Jk’s pov in the beginning, getting to see how tense he was really made me eager for their interactions and for him to feel comfortable and calm with her. Their interactions just felt so cute and natural and the end, assdjfhi, jk really deserves to be cherished and I loved seeing oc get him to the point of relaxation.

Hey, y’all! Stories Update!!

Hey, y’all. So, I know I haven’t exactly been posting much on here lately. I’ve, in a way, taken a small break from writing my Negan/JDM stories for a bit. But, that doesn’t mean that I’ve stopped writing. In fact, it’s quite the opposite! I just wanted to let y’all know that I haven’t stopped writing. In fact, I’ve been working on stories with @mychemicalimagines and @supernaturalwritingbunker. I decided I would let you know what they were, in case y’all wanted to go check ‘em out! If you love my Negan writing, feel free to check out these other stories I’ve worked on/been working on! They’re listed in alphabetical order, based on the first name then by the first name of the fic, unless otherwise stated (i.e. the Jasper Hale “You’re My…” Series). Stories we haven’t posted yet don’t have links, but everything else does. I’m hoping that I’ll get some more inspiration to keep writing for Negan here soon. We’ll see! Stay safe. *For the stories listed below, I’ve separated based on which blog it’s from, and whether it’s a movie or show fic. Beyond that. I’ve separated them based on which show or movie it is, and if applicable, I’ve indicated if it’s a series or not. I’ve included the title of the story, what it’s status is (finished, in progress, or on hiatus), how many chapters there are, and the relationship pairings. If it’s on hiatus, the main reason for that, unless otherwise indicated, is that we just aren’t quite ready to finish that particular story. It’s like having a kid, watching it grow, and then them being all grown up. You wanna hold onto that innocence for as long as you can. What an awful fucking day. The day before Christmas shouldn’t be this chaotic. It should be relaxing and filled with anticipation.

Not for you. First, your coat’s zipper popped as you were heading out the door. It took way too much time trying to unzip it and shimmy out of it and find your old coat, making you late for work. Then, your company’s website was down. There was a backup system to use, but it was awkward and definitely not what you were used to. After, during your Zoom meeting your computer froze where you could still see everyone in the meeting move, but you couldn’t click or move anything on the screen, causing you to run to another office and use that computer. Now, as you were walking home you received a “let’s talk” message from Kihyun. With how the rest of the day had gone, you were sure Kihyun was going to cancel your Xmas plans of ordering lots of food and watching cheesy Christmas movies all day.

You never liked the Christmas season after working too many of them in retail. Luckily, Korea treated it more like a couple’s holiday so you didn’t need to do anything too extravagant. But still, you wanted to do something festive. Even if it just meant stuffing your face with carbs while watching  Holiday in Handcuffs with your best friend.

You were surprised to see him waiting outside your apartment with several shopping bags. Perhaps he was on his way to his mother’s house and had decided to celebrate Christmas with her.

“Hey,” he smiled at you.

“Hey,” you grumbled back.

His smile fell. “What’s wrong?” He put his bags down.

“It’s been a day.” You couldn’t look him in the eye when he told you he was canceling on you, so you focused on the bag handles. “Change of plans for tomorrow?”

“Ah, yeah. I was thinking instead of coming over in the afternoon tomorrow I could just come over tonight. We could have hot chocolate and start our movie marathon before Santa comes.”

Oh. Well. You weren’t expecting this. You couldn’t read the expression on his face. “You know my couch is really small. You wouldn’t be comfortable to sleep on it.”

“I wasn’t planning to sleep on it.”

Also not what you were expecting. “I don’t really want to sleep on it either.”

His lips lifted in a smile. Sometimes you forgot how stunningly beautiful your best friend was. “I think there’s more than enough room in your bed for both of us to sleep.”

Your mind was spinning. Maybe the stress from all the chaos today finally made you snap and you were imagining things. Was Kihyun really suggesting sharing the bed? You guess it wouldn’t be a big deal. You had friends sleepover before. It was certainly doable. Again, just unexpected.

Kihyun looked at you now, worry clearly on his face. “What’s wrong?” His hand lifted to your cheek and stroked it with his thumb.

“A lot happened today. I’m just trying to process.”

His face fell. “Is the prospect of me being your boyfriend too much to handle?”

“What?” Boyfriend? Now you were sure you’d lost your mind. Kihyun wanted to be your boyfriend? Yours? You’d been best friends for years. He knew all of your stupid habits and behaviors. You knew all of his. And sure, you’d been disappointed if he talked about another girl or started dating, but you just summed it up to not wanting to lose time with your friend. You definitely buried any ideas of it being a crush deep into the depths of your soul.

Ideas were still circling in your mind as you watched Kihyun pick up his bags. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled. “It was a dumb idea.”

You mentally smacked yourself out of it and grabbed his arm. “Wait.”

He looked up at you, and you could see the hurt in his eyes.

“Just,” you were trying to find the words. “I told you I was having a day. A monumentally bad one. And then you sprung this on me. Can you just, give me a moment to catch up? I’m in shock. You want to be my boyfriend?”

His face relaxed and hope filled his eyes. “Yes. We’ve been spending a lot more time together recently. Getting coffee, hanging out and watching movies or playing video games. There’s been more playful banter. It felt like maybe you were feeling and noticing these things, too. Your hugs have been getting longer when we part ways” He looked down at your hands. “It’s getting harder for me not to touch you, or at least convince myself that I don’t want to.”

Damn. He was right. You had been sitting closer to him when watching or playing things. And you were getting more flirtatious and suggestive when talking over coffee. You’d thought that maybe your friendship had just gotten more comfortable. But thinking about whenever he would leave, you never did really want him to go. It was hard to let him go from a hug.

As if sensing you were now on the same page as him, he moved closer and brought his hand to your cheek again. He whispered, “Do you want me?”

You stared into his eyes for what felt like hours. “Yes,” you whispered back.

Kihyun smiled and kissed your forehead. He picked up his bags again as well as your arm and walked you to the door. “I got us matching pajamas and I have ingredients to make cookies tonight while watching our first movie.”

Oh boy. What have you gotten yourself into? But somehow, you couldn’t get the smile off your face.
