Rae: Would still be a non-mutant (since Apocalypse expressed her mutation, and she ran into him when he came after Warren), would be off in some other country to practice another language, would still have that vaguely restless and unfulfilled feeling surrounding her life. Warren (Worthington): Well, it would follow the usual path of X-Men: Apocalypse if Rae hadn't intervened... which means he'd be dead. Whoops.

Robin: Wouldn't be at the X-Mansion unless Sean chose to introduce her, wouldn't have had her TBI- but also wouldn't have had the excitement and adventure of being an X-Man, so it balances out. She'd probably end up meeting someone through her opera work, but it would be a much less exciting life than the one she has with Peter XD Peter (Maximoff): Would still be a little reckless and immature, since meeting Robin was what convinced him to slow down and start taking things seriously. Aside from that, though, probably not much different?

Madison: Would still be out in the wilderness somewhere - she'd think she's happy enough, since the straightforwardness of that life is comforting in its own way, and wouldn't realize how truly lonely she was in that life. Alex: Same as we see him in the movies - still loves his family, but pretty prickly and distant. He's still kind of prickly when he's with Madison, but she helps him open up and mature for sure.

Ophelia: Depending on how you interpret it, she's either still dead (wasn't pulled through the multiverse) or is just doing alright (was pulled through the multiverse, just didn't meet Peter while she was there). She's good at being independent, she's happier with Peter but would still be alright if she hadn't met him. Peter (Parker): Kind of the same - his grief over Gwen would probably hit him a lot harder, since Olly and Peter do help each other process their grief over the ones they've lost, but he'd still be alright if he hadn't met her.

Gia: Would still be a total hermit, hardly able to work up the courage to leave her shop. Kate definitely helps her open back up :) Kate: Honestly... I'm not sure. I don't know as much about Kate as I do about the others... she'd probably get herself in trouble a lot more though XD

Jasper: Would've completed college and become a nurse as normal, but since Kyle has helped them feel safer and more comfortable with who they are in their actual life, they'd be a little more reserved and unsure of themself without him. Kyle: The plot of AHS Coven... after he gets necromanced, he's used as love-triangle-fodder and basically treated like an object to create conflict between two of the other characters. I literally created Jasper as a fix-it so he'd have a healthy relationship, so without them... yeah.

Kestrel: Wouldn't even be Kestrel, really - Warren encouraged them with so much of who they are, if they hadn't met him then they'd still be shapeless like any other changeling. Warren (Burgess): Hard to say... he doesn't have a romantic partner in the books except for a reference that he used to date Vanessa (another book character), so I think he'd be alright. It would be one of those "wouldn't know what you're missing" sort of deals though, how would you know you're missing your partner if you've never met them?

Katherine: Would have a fairly normal life - would have graduated college, found a reasonably steady source of art work somewhere, would eventually have found a partner and started a relationship, nothing exciting. Her life with Ahk is a lot more... exciting. Ahkmenrah: About the same as it's been for most of his museum life, really. I can't say too much would change.

Quinn: Would have dropped out of college, found a cover-the-bases job somewhere, would have just coasted along somewhere until she could either pay to finish her education or got promoted in the role she ended up... it would be a much more boring life, and she'd probably drive herself crazy. Billy: I can't imagine he'd be too terribly different, at least in the beginning, though he definitely matures some as he learns to support Quinn through their disability (so he'd be missing that for not having met her)

Eris: I mean, they've lived hundreds of years without Rick, I can't say too much has changed for having met him. Rick: Similar answer, he's not too different with or without them. Partially this is because of the style of their relationship - yes, they're devoted to each other, but they're self-reliant people by nature and would be fine apart.

Nikoletta: Would still be in Belle Reve, and still holding up that same icy, unshakable persona of the Queen of Belle Reve. Abner: Physically would have died in Corto Maltese (as the movie has it). Emotionally, would still be closed-off and refusing to allow himself happiness.

Jimmy: Would still be wandering Coney Island, the same way he had for a hundred and nine years before. Lars: I'm not sure. He's a new character, and there's not much about his personal life in the movie, so I genuinely haven't figured out what all would change.

(Sorry some of these answers might be disappointing, it's hard to think of striking differences for the canon characters since most of my fics are either fix-its or follow canon up to a point)

I genuinely loved a couple of things about this episode, and I would like to get right into those, if I may.

I have been loving the Big Brother Miguel vibes since the start of the season, and it's only getting better. (I mean, if I didn't know what I know, I would have almost thought that he was hitting on Angel, BUT. He must have studied that boy damn close if he knows his body from a security camera. Y'know what I mean?) *ahems* It might just be me, too, but I felt this sense of... reluctant longing in Miguel's tone, when he agreed that he didn't know Angel. Kinda' broke my heart, a little bit. Here's this guy who has family he clearly wants to protect, but also refuses to acknowledge beyond that. While he and EZ have some ugliness between them, he and Angel - minus the warehouse - don't have that much on-screen history to work with. ** This is why I firmly believe that something terrible will befall Angel, and Miguel will have to take it up with EZ. Something is going to tip Miguel's hand on this secret, either his or Filipe's. I just really kinda' hope I'm wrong about what that something is. **

I did enjoy that little Not-Fight-Club scene. I need to re-watch, because I want to know why Isaac said, "It really is you"?? Did I mishear that?? Because, if so, that sends me down a whole winding path of questions and conspiracies. (Again, I need to re-watch a few things, at least, because I have zero idea whether I missed something, and now look like an idiot for having these thoughts). Neeevermind. I found my answer. I just love JR Bourne, and while I haven't been... in love with Isaac, he's doing a fabulous job with the role.

While I'm glad we still have Nestor around, I'm pretty damned bothered by the lack of use of his character? If that makes sense? I mean, here's a dude that's capable, trustworthy, honest, dedicated, loyal, and he's tending the fucking bar?! Prospect was... just not where I expected him to land, I guess? And, for so damned long. In bed with the enemy, sure, I get that. He just feels like such an afterthought to the series, at times.

EZ's little speech to SAMDINO was a nightmare. It was like being on the phone with Xfinity's automated services. I felt for Isaac on that one. I would have lost my temper, too.

Consider this my Weekly Complaint about Emily, if filed a day or so late. Ugh. Her little speech about Motherhood - though valid - made me roll my eyes. While Miguel is certainly no prize in the marriage department, I wish he would have just cut bait a long, LONG time ago.

Beyond that? I pretty well enjoyed this episode. The preview for next week didn't thrill me to my core, but... We shall see.

i have no clue if this was ever asked (sorry if it was lol) but what are the characters (main & side) favorite sports (or what they'd play if not in band) [definitely NOT asking cause i wanna see if any of them would be ice hockey and snare drummer kids like me, i mean whaaaat], anyways i've gotten through two, almost three of the routes so far (doug, peter, on tom's) and all of them/the game is so great so far<3<3<3

Cadence: As she says in the game, soccer or volleyball. Tom: E-SPORTS. He mains jungler in League of Legends. He tried to get some of the guys into it but they were awful.

Peter: He played soccer growing up and would stick with that.

Clark: He insists on nothing but marching band.

Samuel: Nah. Sports are not his thing unless it's fishing. Does that count? Just vibin' in his own head until he feels a bite.

Poptart: He doesn't strike me as being sporty either. Hide and seek champion?

Doug: Football~! He also enjoys basketball and ultimate frisbee.

Garth: He likes swimming and water polo.

Kind of a mix! I had an adventure with my grandparents that was nice, but also took a lot of my social energy, and then I was a friend's ride for dental surgery cause he didn't have any family that could help, and work is getting a little crazy. But things definitely could be worse!!! I'm chugging along as best I can. I'm glad you had a good week, this can be such a weird time of year for so many reasons!

That's cool that you know 24K, I don't know many people who do... That group's lineup is such a mess, have you seen the member timeline on their Wikipedia page? DX They've been really all over the place, but I got into them for a little bit cause I liked Bingo, and I found out Cory (the one whose song I linked, he's using Corbyn now) is from the same region as me (Pacific Northwest) so I was like, I like this one. XD And I also really like his voice!!! It's nice to see him do his own thing, he's part of kind of a collective with some other artists, including Alex from High4! (Another fun little group, have you heard of them?) I'm glad you think his voice is nice, I really enjoy listening to him!

I will say, rappers are vocals first for me, but for singers faces are easier, I'm not sure why but unless their voice really sticks out to me I can struggle to pick them out... It took me a while to separate Minho, Seungmin, and Jeongin for me in terms of their vocals.

Mother of 2, Sebastian from first marriage (adult) and Maru from current marriage (youngest and adult) Robin is the one mom everyone gets a crush on in the first few minutes of playthru, but dont let that make you ignore the atrocities she still does in her house. Her MILK AND BREAD is building house, she is A CARPENTER, but she cant even think of building a window for her son??? Does she want him dead? asphyxion is a serious matter wtf and he lives in a basement? (thats okay, Sebastian likes the basement part, but he often voices his miscontent with having no windows) She also sit still in the face of her husband being controlling over her daughter... She is enabling abuse in exchange of comfort. Did she ever do any parenting ever? is the reason she married a second time, was to get a parent to take over the hassle she was never ready for???

Coming for Pam in second. Mother of one, Penny, an adult. Need i say more? She is irredeemable. Irresponsible. Lazy. Low-key narcissistic. Lost herself to an addiction. Doesnt show much care about Penny. Cares more about how others see her than Penny. The education she gave to Penny was in the purpose of Penny taking care of her instead of the opposite. She is verbally abusive and some fans even speculate that she is physically so. Not a mother in any way shape or form.

Third of, Jodi. Jodi Jodi Jodi... A pitiful woman, but still a bad mother. She still love her kids, but... She wasn't made for motherhood... Mother of Sam (adult ?) and Vincent (Kiddo) She hardly ever participate in taking care of the emotional and disciplinary needs of her kids, and she compensate by spoiling them with toys. Sam, he is a child with the age of an adult. Ans she is to blame... Vincent's mental growth is way worse than Sam's, its as if he has no actual mental stimulation aside from Penny's teachings :( She often complains about chores, but she doesn't realize that she could have given some responsibilities to Sam so that he could help her ToT Its a big part of discipline to give tasks and make the family work together. If you go talk to Vincent frequently, many times he would say that he was hungry... wtf Jodi.. what do you even do with your free time... I think i should also note that Jodi has no actual hobby to take her mind off of her miserable life aside from her little garden, and i'm not even sure what she even grows there... She has no life of her own, and she was forced into the mold of a mother, and she yearns for an escape... if only she had other ambitions, and an actual life outside of motherhood...

Evelyn coming at fourth! She is not bad at all! She is technically a mom, and she takes care of her Grandson Alex! A very loving caretaker! She is a strong willed woman, and doesn't let old age take her productivity down! She is kind to all, and very nurturing ! Genuinely loves and care for people. Finds the joy in the little things, and loves to share with others. No flaws are to be seen in the horizon, except her attachment to the past, which is a cute thing about her tbh xD We don't see her much being a mother, but Alex is relatively a good boy, and it truly shows how much influence she had on him, since he seriously needed that affection in his life But...If Alex wasn't broken by his father... would Evelyn's education be considered too laid back? and would have Alex grown spoiled? George is definitely not a healthy authority figure, so he wouldn't fill the gaps of discipline... Would Evelyn know how to be occasionally harsh without being damaging? It all works out thankfully X)

Best of all for last! Caroline! Mommy I wanna Ntr her so bad Caroline is often voicing her concern for Abigail when talking to the farmer. (Unlike the other direct moms) She truly cares for her daughter. She is just not used to Abigail's interests. And even in her argument with Abigail in the 6 heart event, she apologizes. It shows that, she isn't trying to be controlling, but rather that she is confused about the way her daughter acts and expresses herself. I personally believe that arguments with loved ones is a neutral thing, and that it is the intention of the party that decides whether it's a bad or good quarrel. Good quarrels usually reveals what the individual has to work on. And i think this was a good quarrel. Caroline was checking that Abigail was aware of the opportunities given to her, to make her grateful. It's discipline. And Abigail was asserting her individuality, and refusing to let others decide how she must look. She decides what she wears or does. Both listened to each other, and it was very satisfying tbh. Caroline is also the one person holding up the female population of Pelican town! She is healthy minded and bodied, and encourages other to be that as well, she invites the women to her home to exercise each week! She doesn't let go of her personal, social or Family responsibilities! +If she didn't exist, Jodi would have lost her mind At this point u_u All in all It requires to be a good person to be a good mother!

Heheee Penny is definitely an honorable mention. She took it upon herself to educate and teach the kids of Pelican Town! She is a very encouraging individual. And she is filling the gaps in the learning process of these kids... She basically, became the mother she wish she had...

9.Neutral to Divaz but seeing them did a call out to a troublesome customer is a bit uncomfortable. I believe they should have kept the person's name as anon, never mention their irl or username. I understand that they are upset that their business reputation is damaged by the customer's words but still a business shouldn't blast their customer's personal info on public platform. A business should be a business. Personal feelings should be handled off the business page.

Again I fully understand Divaz is human too and they can feel upset by exaggerated rumours but a business shouldn't be so sensitive to any provocation. I'm sure other dealers also get a lot of negative comments but we seldom hear them talk about it publicly. Really not my place to say, I think Divaz should try to keep personal emotions off their business page. Occasional bad press will naturally go away on its own if they can maintain good and satisfied customers on a long run. I feel like them fighting back against angry (ex) customers and seeking comfort from others is not the best move as a business. It is fine that they express their frustration to their family and friends but definitely not on a public business page. It just feels unprofessional. It's my 2 cents.

Sorry Divaz, I know you don't want to hear this but please do try to keep personal feelings aside when running a business. It will really help you on a long run. I know everyone has a different situation and state their opinion with what they have already experienced, but I'm not gonna lie that I felt bad when I read someone saying that bjdivaz long layaways aren't even neccesary and they should just remove it. While I do agree bjdivaz could improve in how they manage some stuff, at the same time they are the only ones that let me "join" the hobby and don't feel bad because I can't pay in full or put down big payments as other hobbyists. I know it's not neccesary and I can save, but from someone who comes from a place of poverty I already feel guilty enough spending in a hobby and having big amounts of money always end up in paying emergencies and starting from 0 again. So these "really long and unnecessary layaways" give me the opportunity to not feel as guilty and enjoy something like the rest without spending too much every month to the point that it could affect my daily life.

Ok, so in the past weeks (I think since November, more or less) I'm watching/ re-watching some Les Miserables adaption, together with @clumsyhobbit.

For now we watched the 1995 concert, 2014 Broadway musical, 2019 concert, 1964 Italian serie, 1978 movie, and 4 episodes of 2018 BBC serie. We yet programmed to finish the BBC serie and then 2012 movie (which I saw on my own many times) and Shojo Cosette anime (where I saw only few episodes).

Soon or later we need to watch also the 2010 concert, the 1998 movie and 2000 mini serie.

But, for now, I think that I could show you my "Dream Cast", even if it maybe will be updated in the future.

Alright, both Angela Cardile (1964 Italian serie) and  Erin Kellyman are much more similar to the clever and stalky girl that Eponine is in the book, in 1964 serie the’re is also the part where she lures Marius at the barricade just trying to die with him (IDK if there is also in the 2018 serie, I’ve not seen yet the last 2 episodes), but Samantha Barks is too intense to not be loved, even if the character in the musical is totally changed.

The “Ark” Theory

OKAY, so there are a lot of theories out there about Marble Hornets, and I likely haven’t even seen half of them before. But one of the main questions around it is, what exactly is the Ark? There have been speculations that the Ark is Alex, that it’s the “Own Zone” as Joseph called it, or even that it’s a certain mental state that you have to put yourself in.

But what if it’s none of those? What if the Ark isn’t even physical at all? Here’s a theory; there have been many instances when totheark talked about the Ark, one of their more known quotes is, “He will lead me to you. Lead me to death. Lead me to the Ark.”

And so I was thinking, when you die you can either go to heaven or to hell, and if they were talking about one of these places you could only get to them if you did, indeed, die. Now we know that totheark is searching for something, and this “something” is the Ark. It’s unsure who exactly they’re talking to several times; it could be Jay, it could be Alex, it could even be Tim. But maybe it’s none of them. Maybe they’re trying to reach out to someone else for answers, maybe they’re looking for guidance from someone that they’re unable to find.

Here’s where we get into the theory.

What if the “Ark” in question is Jesus? Or rather, salvation? Considering the fact that the Operator is obviously an otherworldly, sinister being, it takes people who die to the Own Zone, which is the other world. Its other world. Remember when Tim got teleported there during Entry #65 and he saw the man Alex had killed with the rock? All the surroundings were dark. You couldn’t see past the corpse.

What does the KJV Bible say about hell? “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” -Jude 6. Hell is a dark place. But at the same time, it’s filled with flame.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” -Revelation 20:50. What do we know about Tim? He smokes. We also know that his old hospital was burned down. Most don’t know that Tim himself was the reason it burned down, though. That quick shot of the melting grill, along with the fire as Tim gets teleported back to his room in Entry #83? The fire started in his room.

So maybe that’s why the Operator latched on so tightly to Tim before it found Alex. It was attracted to fire. We know that the devil is associated with fire, not because he’s from hell but because he’s going to be thrown into hell. 

So in this case, let’s say that the Operator represents Satan, the other dimension represents hell, and Jesus is the Ark. Then let’s say that, in terms of Noah’s Ark, that “hell” is the flood. It’s the place nobody wants to be taken to, the place of eternal darkness, flame, and suffering. And totheark doesn’t want to be caught in the flood.

So then what would the Operator be? I thought about this a bit and came to the conclusion that it’s sin. Or rather, the influence of sin. It affects everybody it manages to get its hands on, and Alex is a great example. Then Alex would be the people, the sinners that needed to be wiped off the face of the earth. The only way to get away from the flood would be to find the Ark, which in this case, would be Jesus.

So the Own Zone is the flood, the Operator is sin, Alex is the sinners, and Jesus is the Ark. The only way to escape the flood, ultimate death, would be to find the Ark. But totheark says “lead me to death”. So maybe they want to die, but they don’t want to be taken to hell, which we’ve seen is the Operator’s dimension that it takes victims to. 

It took the man that Alex killed, we can assume it took Jay, and it took Alex. I would say it took Jessica, but since she’s alive and well maybe it only brought her out of danger because she is its new puppet, its ‘people’ that it manipulates. She’s the new sinner.

In the end, maybe totheark wanted one thing besides getting revenge on Alex, and maybe that one thing was salvation. They wanted safety, they wanted to be sure they would be okay in the end. They wanted the Ark. 

Did they get it? Well, we don’t know what happened to Seth, but after Hoody died and was revealed to be Brian, did the Operator take him? No. Even days after being dead, his corpse was still there. We know for a fact that whoever dies due to Alex, or anyone else that had been affected by the Operator, is taken almost immediately after death. That didn’t happen for Brian.

I like to think that he did get what he was looking for in the end. Remember totheark’s video “Null”? It was their last upload, and in it, the person behind the camera, who we now know was Brian, seemed almost... peaceful. There was a sad kind of feeling to the video, but the way he speaks in it sounds like he has peace of mind. Like he knows he has nothing to fear, because maybe he doesn’t anymore. It’s clear that he knew it would be his last upload, that he knew he would have a showdown with Tim. 

He didn’t care if he died in the end or not, why? Because he knew he would be okay, whether he lived or whether he died. He had nothing to be afraid of anymore. He found Jesus, he found the Ark, and he boarded it. And he knew he was on his way to heaven, away from the flood. Away from the clutches of the Operator.

As for Tim? Some speculate that he killed Jessica and then himself, as before Alex died he said that it wasn’t over. He would have to keep killing the infected, and then himself. That it was the only way to stop the ‘spread’. 

Some think that he continued being controlled by the Operator, and that would be a reasonable thing to believe because, as you may remember, in the last entry Tim suffered a major coughing fit, with Jessica bending down to ask if he was okay. The video then cuts to Tim driving in a car, seemingly composed a bit. 

The camera stays on him for while before he grabs his pill bottle, continues to stare ahead, and looks moments away from bursting into tears before he swirls the camera around so us, the viewers, are facing the direction that the car is being driven. The screen then goes black and the letters displayed on the screen is but three simple words; “Everything is fine.”

IS everything really fine, Tim? No. No, it is not. At least, that’s what I got from it. Tim’s known to lie, and it wouldn’t be a surprise that his last words to viewers would be a reassuring sentence to try and convince him that he’s okay. But I don’t think he’s okay.

At best, I think he continued to live a life with nightmares, hallucinations, and random blackouts that may or may not lead to him having a broken leg. At worst, he found a nice, quiet place to overdose because he didn’t want to suffer anymore. Except he will suffer. He will suffer for eternity.

But yes, this is my theory behind the meaning of the “Ark” and the basis for the series. Has this been done before? Idk, I’ve never seen it before. I can promise you that I’m not stealing someone else’s theory, at least not on purpose. I feel like this makes a lot of sense, and it gives totheark a good motivation as to what they’re after and why they’re after it.

It’s a nice thought that at least somebody finally got what they were after, that they finally got peace after everything that happened to them. I have no proof that Jay did or did not find the Ark. I suppose that his corpse was still physical, I mean, it was still in the real world. But it had clearly been teleported, and he was sitting on a bunch of pages that Alex had drawn. 

They were nowhere near Tim’s house at the college, which is where he died at. And when Tim finally goes back to his house, Jay isn’t there, the pages aren’t there, “Your fault” isn’t written on the mirror a dozen times. So we can assume that really, he wasn’t in the real world. He was in another dimension, likely the Own Zone. We’ve seen Tim go into that place before, but I don’t recall Jay ever going. So Tim can be teleported into that dimension while he’s still alive, and Brian is also there too. But only for a moment. This is also before he died.

So I don’t know. I think Jay was taken to the Operator’s world, like Alex and the poor rock victim. What do you think? 

Even if this theory is utter nonsense it was fun writing. It’s an interesting concept and I definitely enjoyed it. I’ve been literally breathing Marble Hornets for the past few weeks so I couldn’t stop a theory from popping into my mind and then make me think, ‘hey, what if?’

Actually, I’ve been thinking about making a separate blog solely dedicated to Marble Hornets. Should I? I probably will - after all, this blog I have right now is more about Creepypasta rather than Marble Hornets. And I’m a huge Marble Hornets fan so I want something dedicated to it. Also, it’ll give me the opportunity to talk about my unending love for Brian without seeming sudden and obsessed xD

❣️— When do they first say I love you?

I actually had to look this up for Dave. So, there's this one situation where after some night event at the club Alex turns up at Dave's place drunk and accuses him "why don't you love me". He navigates the situation diplomatically because while they definitely should talk about that, they shouldn't do it when she is drunk and miserable, so he doesn't really answer it at all.

Then Alex says it for the first time when they are still friends with benefits, but they have a very fun "chess night" with also lots of booz and Alex is both drunken on the night, the booz, the sex and closeness and him, and she just straight up says "I love you" and he's like "Uhum?" and she's like "yes. I love you". And while it's very true, it is still in that very situation rather a playful, drunk-on-the-situation kind of confession, one that could easily be taken for a friendly I love you as well.

Fun fact: I looked it up and I am still not sure IF Dave returns it in that situation, because my notes are not very clear. xD So I will still have to decide if he returns it in that moment or if he waits until they are actually together.

That night, when they were heavily drunk, on the booz, on each other, on the moment, when she felt him inside her, around her, occupying every cell of her very being, she'd whispered I love you. The parts of her body where their skin met and departed burned in longing sensation. Dave looked at her, equally drowning in the situation, drowning in her grey eyes, drowning in each of her motions, in each word and each ecstatic breath. I love you. Yeah?

See? Who says what of the last two lines? No one knows (I definitely don't!).

Though it does take only a short time after that specific night until they get their act together and become a real couple. And I tell you, when that happens they tell each other A LOT that they love each other. A LOT.

💞— Are they a big cuddler? What is cuddling them like?

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. Gosh, Alex&Dave are HUGE cuddlers when they are alone. They don't need to have a physical connection in public all the time at all. But in private they really enjoy being close to each other, and the height of it is cuddling or sex, but also just some light cuddling on the couch or such is fine. But they really enjoy having these moments of being completely close and drowning in each other. It's very grounding and very good for their well being and general health.

🧺— Random domestic headcanon

It feels a bit like while Alex&Dave absolutely enjoy spending time together at home, their jobs still limit their shared time at home A LOT so that there's not so much domesticity at all. :D Lets see, something you don't yet know... Dave is the one for decoration and the overall feel good factor, because Alex just doesn't care for that stuff. She's like a cat: you buy her something fancy and she will ignore it and just sit in the blank carton and be happy there, lol. But! She tries for Dave. When they move into their house, and he's at work, she orders Tonks over and they set up the whole porch (it's a big porch!) up with fairy lights and make it comfy, because Dave had that in his old house but they didn't have time yet to care for that stuff in the new house. So she tries hard to get in a decoration vibe. It's fun with Tonks, but it's really not her field of action - she does it for Dave though.

🔪— How would they react to injury/misfortune befalling their partner? Do they feel at fault?

Of course Alex would be deeply concerned if Dave got injured - but she's not the type to freak out. Life's life and shit happens and they will deal with it. And, depending on the severity, she definitely might react like in the gif. The severer it is, the calmer she'll be, though. Sarcasm is only applicable when it's nothing to reaally worry about.

Dave is potentially a little more of a worrier, but due to his job and he's seen too much, he generally shares Alex' attitude. Once it happened it can't be changed anyways, can it? So better look forward and work on the recovery.

💧— Random angst headcanon

Hum. I don't think I'm in an angsty mood tonight - but one thing that changes the closer Alex&Dave get is that Alex cries a lot more. That's a good thing though - with him she learns to open up and let go and she learns to just actually let herself feel all the bad stuff. She hasn't cried much for a long time before they got together, especially not in front of someone. She's much rather the type to get angry on herself when her body wants to cry, to maybe shed a few tears and then angrily rub her eyes and be like "enough, get your act together". With Dave she learns to trust - him, that he's there, and herself.

It’s probably very cliché to say she’s a Buffyverse fan, but c’mon. She clearly is xDD. Everyone expects her to love Buffy, and don’t get me wrong, she ADORES Buffy (and Bangel; she’s cried a lot with Bangel), but she has a soft spot for Willow. And very mixed and intense feelings about Faith, likely. Also, the absent fathers theme? Hits her hard, definitely...

She keeps the angel sword and Castiel’s stuffed cat next to each other. The gifts brought to her in her fatidic 18th birthday.

She would NEVER cut off her hair. Not that I don’t like butchy hair cuts, but I don’t think they’re her thing; have you seen how she styles it, even on hunts? This girl is VAIN ASF about her beautiful curls, I’m telling you.

a reason they suck: not. a single. one. She should’ve gotten to be a protagonist on her own show, though.

a reason they are great: I love literally everything about it, but what absolutely destroys me is how kind and empathetic she is. Like, the REAL deal, not the Elena Gilbert-type. The fact that she has it in her to not only forgive Castiel and the Winchesters but to bond with them (when they so do not deserve it, and she might be better off if she didn’t. Hell, she bonds with anyone to an uncanny degree, especially after all the shit she’s gone through) is so beyond my understanding. But instead of looking down at it or being skeptical towards it I’m marveled by her.

a reason I relate to them: we’re both hotheads lol. Also the hair thing xD, and finding Kaia adorable.

(what I consider to be) the top tier otp/ot3 for that character: Claire/Kaia/dark!Kaia is THE dynamic. I mourn the lack of content and I plan to remedy it as soon as I have the time (so, not in a while, but whatever).

Meeting Jack. These two are some of the kindest characters I’ve ever seen on tv and my heart would’ve grown three sizes.

I personally think Castiel was doing the right thing extricating himself from her life, letting her go and find what she needed on her own... but I find their dynamic heartbreaking and fascinating and I wouldn’t say no to more of it.

Patience. Not Kaia. Even if she hadn’t already met Kaia, and later being consumed by grief and revenge, nothing would’ve grown between them like that, IMO. Patience is similar to Kaia in some respects that should count, but there’s no *spark*. Claire likes the spark.

Krissy. Not Kaia. I think if they met they’d get along, but that they’re a little to similar for Claire’s brain to even go there.

Alicia. Not Kaia. If they met, and it was BK (Before Kaia), Claire would’ve found her cute and nice and all. But again, no spark.

Dark!Kaia. This is where it gets complicated, because no, she’s not Kaia, she’s (or at least acts) different than the Kaia she knew. But in a lot of ways, she is Kaia. Kaia and her are one, are the same. And I think if they’d crossed paths, Claire’s feelings (especially since this is Claire, the girl who connects even with the people that destroyed her family) would’ve reflected that. The transference issues would’ve been through the roof. And both Kaias would have their own complicated dynamic; “What I was to her, she was to me. You wouldn’t understand.”, and it’s really a surprise she’s drawn to both? Ugh. What this could have been. You have no idea how much I mourn this.

A Sort of Whumpy Writer's Block Ask Game

🎬 What was the very first scene or image that popped into your head before you ever wrote a word for your OC?

Terra: Given I first created her for the plot bunny ask game... I didn't really have one, honestly! Usually I get an idea for a moment or scene and flesh out the character from there, but with that ask game I focused more on just creating a new OC that would be reasonably interesting and would fit the tone of Arcane- I didn't even expect to do anything with her until I wound up obsessed with season 2!

Madison: The first image I had was Alex being out on a mission to this old camp with a lake, looking into the reflective surface of the water and seeing Madison's face semi-visible under the surface of the water. That scene never made it into the fic, since her actual entrance involves her leaping out of the water in the middle of a fight scene, but it was what prompted me into her fishlike mutation and "wild" background

🚥 Is there a character choice or plotline that you regret but is now canon and you feel like you can't change it?

Terra: Not with Terra... no, but seriously, I wouldn't say I regret accidentally dooming Pluto to the narrative with that fic I wrote, but it's definitely going to be interesting to try and figure out where to go from here once Act 3 comes out and I see where canon goes.

Madison: No. There are definitely some things I would like to rewrite, particularly in the earlier chapters of her fic, but that's more about writing style (since those early chapters are old) than plot decisions. I'm pretty secure in the arc of her story and what it contains.

😎 Pick one thing about your OC and describe it in detail. (their smile, their eyes, the way they walk, their voice, etc.)

Terra: Terra's eyes are naturally a sort of hazel-green shade, though they have taken on a pinkish tinge due to her prolonged Shimmer use. When her use of Shimmer increases, even in the short-term, this pink color becomes pronounced and visible (with extreme use, the color almost seems to glow); and when her use of Shimmer decreases, her eyes begin to return to their natural color. Because of this, her eyes are most often a sort of undefined, murky color from that mix of green and pink.

Madison: Due to her mutation, her hair and eyes have a reflective quality to them - they mirror the colors of what's around her. Her eyes, being a smaller surface, mainly just reflect colors, though if someone looks closely they could see distinct shapes and figures as well. Her hair, especially when it's loose and brushed, has a very visible mirror effect and clearly reflects what's around her. Like a traditional mirror, these attributes can appear vaguely silver-toned on their own, but more often pick up the colors and features of their surroundings.

🧜‍♂️ If your OC could choose to be a nonhuman character, what do you think they would choose? If they are a nonhuman character, would they choose to be human or another sort of nonhuman character?

Terra: Hm... I think she'd want to be some sort of fairy or brownie - something delicate and gentle, but also something that could fly away from her troubles or slip into the air vents to gather gossip.

Madison: She'd want to be the Loch Ness Monster XD Life in the water? Alone and undisturbed, probably just a myth? That sounds like a dream to her!

🧿 Whether you actually get there or not, what are your hopes for your OC's future?

Terra: At this point, I honestly don't know! It depends partly on what Act 3 gives us, since I need to get the full story before I can determine where Terra fits into it long-term. Plus, like I said before, she was a fairly unexpected OC for me, I created her without a concrete plan or story in mind, so I'm still trying to sort out what she's all about.

Madison: From a storytelling perspective, I have two sequels to Smoke and Mirrors planned out (one set during Alex's deployment in DOFP, then a shorter piece around the time of X-Men: Apocalypse), and of course I'm always open to writing new pieces as they come. From a character perspective, I see her continuing to settle back into domestic life, getting a place with Alex, and eventually starting a small woodworking business.

!Theories about Gravity Falls!

I recently came to the understanding that some people in the Gravity Falls fandom are slightly confused as to what little the fandom knows about Bill Cipher’s past. Everyone who watches the show knows he comes from another dimension known as the Nightmare Realm, which is decaying and fated to be destroyed by its very own mechanisms. However, given the release of Journal 3 by Alex Hirsch and Disney, and a rather interesting and hidden page on the Disney XD site (found here), Bill’s background is obviously not as simple as him being a megalomaniacal, dimension hopping villain.

Let’s start with the Axolotl.

Most people know this amphibious being from the last few seconds Bill is alive. He says something close to, “Axolotl, my time has come to burn. I invoke the ancient power that I may return.” If you want to hear it yourself, check out any of the YouTube videos on the subject. However, this seems to point out that Bill knows of, or somehow personally knows, the Axolotl. This is where the hidden link comes into play. Below is a picture of where the link leads to.

Take note of the first highlighted section. Dipper is asking what the Axolotl knows about Bill Cipher. Now, seeing as the Axolotl resides in the “time and space between time and space,” it could have the ability to see and know all of what happens in other places of time and space. This would give the Axolotl a distanced, somewhat unbiased view of what happened in Bill’s original dimension.

The riddle that is boxed gives some insight into Bill’s past from what the Axolotl knows. The first two lines refer to Bill - proof of him being an equilateral triangle due to the three sixty degree angles the Axolotl describes.

The third and fourth lines explain what happened to Bill’s dimension. The dimension burned, and he misses it. The “can’t return” at the end of the fourth line seems to hint that he is trying to get back to his dimension, or is trying to undo its destruction. Also note that Bill watched his dimension burn, meaning he was likely already outside of his dimension. Say this was his first time dimension hopping, and his first time leaving his dimension had some kind of effect like Weirdmageddon did on Earth - only, instead of there being weirdness waves that changed the environment, it was something much worse which basically rendered the entire dimension uninhabitable or entirely wiped it from existence.

Moving on, the Axolotl implies that Bill is lying to himself about being happy, and possibly other things. “Blame the arson for the fire”  could have several meanings at this point. Was there someone else who actually destroyed Bill’s universe? Should we be blaming Bill because he is the arson? Does Bill blame someone else who is the true arson? Seeing as the word “Blame” is a mere imperative verb that is ordering a person or thing to do something, and there is no other person or personal pronouns given in the sentence, it is hard to say who the Axolotl is ordering. If it was “blames,” then it could be derived that it means “Bill blames” since “You blames,” referring to Dipper and likely the only other person the Axolotl could be thinking of in this context, doesn’t make grammatical sense.

The seventh line seems fairly obvious, and the only questions left are: who is Bill shirking the blame to, and what blame precisely? He has supposedly committed hundreds of atrocities and probably broken all the laws in every universe just to say he did, so is he putting the blame for all of his actions on someone else, or just a singular time where he was to blame?

The eighth line likely connects to Bill’s last moments in Stan’s mind. As stated before, Bill says “Axolotl, my time has come to burn. I invoke the ancient power that I may return.” Notice how Bill uses Axolotl’s name, and later says invoke. Kinda obvious connection there. But also note how Bill says “my time has come to burn.” Now, we do see literal fire taking over Stan’s mind, but we never see him actually burn. Of course, this could also point toward a more metaphorical description or that he just needed to rhyme, just as the Axolotl did in answering Dipper’s question, in order to truly invoke the Axolotl.He could also be referencing that he is dying, and that he probably should have died ages ago with the rest of his dimension which burned, but hey. I look for double meanings everywhere. Especially with Bill Cipher.

As for the last two lines… The fandom can only speculate on it. Bill can only liberate himself by doing one singular thing. And apparently a different form and different time are involved. That could have many different meanings. “Different form” could be physically or mentally - Bill could be a different shape, could be reborn as another species somehow, could reaffirm himself and admit the truth, or he could simply get some kind of interdimensional cold and be “out of shape.” The other half seems pretty obvious: “a different time.” It could be the future, the past, the present, the in between times, or even the second or third or hundredth time he tries to make amends.

A different form and time could also refer to a different universe, which holds a different form and different times, or himself entering Gravity Falls’ dimension and gaining a physical body (new form) and trying to start a new reign in another dimension that (this time) won’t just collapse someday without warning.

Basically, the Axolotl states that (in my own opinion) Bill possibly had a hand in the destruction of his home dimension, but likely tried to stop said destruction and failed. He misses his home and can’t return, but is still trying to find a way back to it. He’s lying to himself and someone is definitely to be blamed for the destruction of his universe, but he won’t admit to it. Bill needs the Axolotl in order to put the blame on someone else, and there is only one way, in another time and another form, that he can free himself from the blame.

Alright. Onto The Oracle. Finally.

In the Third Journal, Ford explains what exactly what happened for those 30 years he was missing. After getting attacked in a 2-D Dimension, he met The Oracle in Dimension 52. She knew all about him and his “mission” to defeat Bill. She was the one who helped Ford get a metal plate in his head. She also was the one who told Ford about Bill’s past.

The first few things I want to go over is the page in which Ford depicts The Oracle. She stands, staring with crossed arms partially obscuring an amulet, in front of what seem to be tapestries of the Axolotl. Bubbles and/or orbs seem to be hanging from the ceiling and rising from the floor in front of the tapestries.

The Third Journal does show that some people in the multiverse know of the Axolotl and the Oracle seems to have some kind of psychic power, evidence when she knew Stanford’s name, his purpose, and what he was destined to do. So perhaps that isn’t as interesting as it first appears. The amulet is also rather intriguing… Could it be in the shape of an eye?

But what about the bubbles and orbs?

I kinda feel like I’m looking too deeply into this, but the only other time when bubbles seem to be important is during Weirdmageddon when Bill uses a bubble to trap Mabel and unleashes weirdness bubbles on the town. It seems somewhat weird that the person who gives Ford all the answers seems to have some kind of connection to Bill - albeit a stretched connection with just these pieces of information in hand. It just seems too much like he’s being used again, which I’ll get into later.

Ford, on some level, seems to notice the connection between the Oracle and Bill. The symbols underlined above the circled Axolotl can be decrypted to read, “The opposite of Bill.” This seems to make sense with what little we know of her. She seems to know all, but never tells Ford that she is indeed psychic or omniscient - notice how Ford states, “Whether she was psychic or had just read my wanted poster is hard to say,” implying that he doesn’t know how she knew about him. She is also noted to be “calm” when talking about her desire to end Bill’s reign. However, Bill seems to believe himself to be omniscient due to his ability to peer into all realms from his Nightmare Realm. But he constantly doesn’t foresee issues - Mabel knocking the safe’s code out of his hands in Dreamscaperers and outsmarting him in Sock Opera, the Weirdness Containment Bubble around Gravity Falls, the dino-arm pulling his eye out, the Stans swapping clothes. He also is known to be rather hotheaded and, as many people in the fandom point out, likely to be insane.

Now, you might be wondering where all this comes into play, right? Well, if you look at the second page, where Ford details their encounter a bit more, he says that the Oracle told him that Bill was power hungry, which caused him to burn his dimension and everything and everyone in it.

That doesn’t sound like what the Axolotl said, right? Which is why people are conflicted on what, or rather who, to believe.

But why would she shape her words into something that Ford could easily misinterpret? Well, first things first: she’s an oracle and prophecies can be easily misinterpreted. But that seemed to fit a bit too easily, so I looked a little harder at the wording of the document and came to one conclusion:

She wants Bill dead and out of the picture.

My reasoning? 1) Look at the line “She spoke of him without anger, but with a calm, steely, clinical resolve to see his reign end.” Pretty straight forward. Ford can tell that she doesn’t like Bill’s reign and will not stop until he is stopped. 2) “She… said I had the face of the man who was destined to destroy Bill.” She said destroy Bill, not Ford’s constant “defeat” that he mentions throughout the series. Destroy means to utterly annihilate, reduce to nothing, ruin emotionally and spiritually, to kill. If this is what she said to him, then she obviously wasn’t just messing around. 3) Ford and her spent the entire night partying after she revealed this. They were partying about someone’s death. Kinda harsh

There is one other point that really hammers it into me that the Oracle was manipulating her own words: her own name. The first paragraph reveals her name to be Jheselbraum the Unswerving. The Unswerving. Which means that once she’s dedicated to something - like destroying a dimension hopping demon by the name of Bill - she will not stop until she succeeds.

Seeing as Ford mysteriously found himself in another dimension after he and the Oracle partied together, it’s pretty obvious that she didn’t tell Ford about him being destined to defeat Bill until that last day. You’d expect someone whom could pull someone out of another dimension into their own, whom knew who Ford was way before they met, whom already had a difficult surgery in mind to aid Ford, and whom was obviously invested in taking Bill down to simply tell Ford that he was the multiverse’s savior, right?

She instead kept it all a secret until the last day, at which point Ford was even more resolute to kill Bill instead of just defeating him and keeping him out of his dimension. 

So who do you trust more? Or do you trust no one? On one hand you have a mysterious being that answered Dipper’s question with a riddle instead of a straight answer, and said riddle could be seen in a variety of lights. On the other, you have an equally mysterious Oracle who might have manipulated her words to ensure Ford’s resolve against Bill.

It's just my opinion! So you don't have to say anything about it! :)))

GASP! THREE ASKS IN ONE DAY! WHADDYA KNOW XD I'm just riled up for more headcannons of yours :D they're wonderful. But for now is fluff— How do the BNHA boys (Shoto, Bakugo, Izuku, Amajiki, Kirishima, and Dabi) handle an S/O that when jealous, gives them more attention and love than usual. Like a girl interacting with them and when they're gone they're all over them XD (You're choice if you want them to sneer, I prefer not to ^^')

Shoto

You two were just having a nice walk on a warm Saturday evening when this random girl came up to Shoto. She was quite racket too. .she was wearing crop top that was more like a bra and short shorts that could easily be mistaken for underwear. Shoto liked girls that knew how far to go with these things, and knew how much to cover up, but still flaunted what they had. This was definitely not a girl he would take the slightest interest in, but you though otherwise.

"Hey, Todoroki. I saw you in the sports festival and on T.V lately and I'm a fan~ Could you sign my chest??" She asked in a fliety tone while posting to her barely covered chest. Shoto was trying hard not to cringe. You grabbed his arm and held it tight, and pulled him down a little to kiss him on the lips, and on his cheek. He smiled and kissed your forehead.

The girl seemed shocked and even a little mad. She huffed nd walked away, thankfully. "Well, she was an. .experience." Shoto said to you. "Yeah. .i hope an experience we don't have to deal with anymore." You sighed. He chucked a bit and grabbed your hand, kissing it and continuing the nice walk.

Bakugo

He finally took you on a nice date on a Friday night. It took a lot of encouraging from Kirishima, but he took you to a nice, fancy restaurant.

You guys were having a good time, eting fancy food and Bakugo even being a little soft. (We all know he's secretly a soft boi, i mean. .come on)

When he was paying the check to be a nice boyfriend this girl in a ling red dress came up to him with a seductive smile. "Hey, your pretty hot. I've seen you around fighting villans and you look really cool. We should get out of here and find something a little more fun, eh??" She asked in a confident tone, like she was all that and shit.

Your smile wuickly feel and you latched onto him and started kissing his cheek and his hands. He was completely puzzled. He even had his "wait, what-" look on his face. The girl definitely didn't like this, but took the hint that you weren't going to let go, so she walked away and back to her group of friends were she told them all about you being annoying and not letting Bakugo go with her. Like he was going to do that anyways. 🙄

He was actually blushing. Being able to feel your lips on his skin and get so much affection out of nowhere.

When you two were leaving you passed the group of friends that included the girl. He stopped and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and smirked, thinking that he was about to take her somewhere to get fucked, but it was the complete opposite. "Hey, if you call my baby annoying again I'll make sure you get put in your fucking place you bitch." He growled before pulling you away.

You laid your head on his shoulder the whole drive back to the dorms and you both cuddled till you feel asleep while watching Netflix because Bakugo was being hella soft. UwU

Izuku

Uraraka was already very persistent with trying to get with Izuku, but now that you two were dating she was even more persistent. You weren't going to be the only one jealous.

You and Izuku were just chilling in the common room when Uraraka came busting in and sat next to Izuku. Which was fine with you two because you both had friends and you two weren't in the middle of anything, so you both started to talk amongst one another.

It was all chill until Uraraka started flirting with Izuku. And I mean flirting. She was calling him cute, and telling him how great he is at everything. Since Izuku got flustered by almost anything he blushed and thanked Uraraka. Now you were kinda triggered. You got up, and just Izuku thought ou were going to leave you sat down right in his lap. You straddled him and put his face to your chest. He blushed and looked up at you with a red face, but he was totally loving this.

Uraraka was completely shocked by this. Her mouth was wide and she was blushing herself. You didn't tell her to leave because you didn't think that she needed to, but you just wanted her to kbow that Izuku was yours and wasn't on sale. 👏👏🍵

He just kind of stayed there and was actually falling asleep. "Your comfy. .c-can I do this more often. ." He stuttered, his cheek pressed against your chest. You smiled at rubbed his head. "Mhm!!" You looked over at Uraraka and smiled sweetly. Yup, she wouldn't be trying anything any time soon.

Amajiki

You two were put on a date for boba tea!! The best thing to even exist. You two sat outside on a rainy day, under an umbrella the restaurant provided for outdoor seat of course and watched the rain fall, vibing and feeling aesthetic as hell.

You leaned in for a kiss, which made Tamaki blush, but he leaned in as well cuz your his girlfriend and he loves you when you were so rudly interrupted by the waitress who took your orders. "Hey, so you're super cute, so I was thinking we could go out sometime." The waitress with brown hair said, putting her hand on Tamaki's. This made him squeek and start studdering out what a response he couldn't quite get out. You looked at him and put your cup down. You cupped his squishy face with your hands and kissed his nose. He blushed furiously. "Y-y/n, w-what was that f-for. .!!" He stuttered out.

You giggled and hugged him, resting your head on his chest. He couldn't help but practically melt and rub your head. He looked back up at the waitress with a 'what do you think the answer is??' Kind of look, which took a lot of confidence on his part to do.

The waitress scoffed and walked away.

When you two were leaving she walked up to you both with two extra freshly made boba teas. "Here, one of my coworkers snitched on me about before, so my boss made me make you more boba. Here." She said, shoving the bobas towards you and Tamaki. You both gladly took themand thanked her, more like thanked her coworker and boos than her.

You two held hands all the way back to U.A because Tamaku felt so bad about the whole ordeal. You two drank some more boba tea and were just being the cutest couple at U.A you guys were.

Kirishima

You and Kirishima were granted permission to go to a gym outside of campus since the one they had at U.A was completely full, and you needed to get training in. Well, it's wants that full, it was mostly taken up by Bakugo's entitlement-

You held hands and kissed eachothers cheeks and were all giggly on the walk to the gyn, which wasn't that far from U.A actually, even though the school was literally on a big ass hill.

You trained first, Kirishima spotting you and helping you out of course. After a while of you training, you helped Kiri out with his. He trained a bit with you, fighting a bit, but not too much since it wasn't the U.A gym and then he started lifting waits and such.

You were currently spotting him on a bench press when you noticed another girl eyeing him as he lifted the waits. You ignored it and made sure he was still going strong, which of course he was. Hey, he's the manliest of men.

After he was done and he was thanking you with a kiss for spotting him the girl came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and being the nice guy he is he smiled and said hello. "Hello, can I help you with something, ma'am??" He asked sweetly, not expecting her to do what she was about to. "Sure can. I'm pretty hungry and you must be too, so I was thinking that you can take me out and let me have a bite of you. Seeing you work out over there has got me starving." The lady said, running her finger over Kirishima's bicep. He was totally shocked at this and had no idea how to respond. Nobody had said something like. .like that to him before.

At that moment you got in front of him and made grabby hands. He smiled and understood what you wanted, so he picked you up, resting your head on his shoulder. You gave him soft kisses on his shoulder and neck, making him sigh in content.

The girl grunted and walked back to whatever she was doing previously. You and Kirishima were quite done with this girls shit, you you just decided to leave, Kirishima holding you all the way back.

Dabi

The league of Villans were having a meeting with two other villans to see if they were 'good enough' to join the league.

You were sitting in Dabi's lap, not being you were jealous just because that's where he liked you. Shigaraki was currently trying to intimidate the villans, which he was actually doing pretty well.

At the end of the meeeting, the girl villan with long pink hair came up to Dabi with a blushy face. "Hello, you're scars are super cool, and you seem super cool as well. Maybe you would want to go out sometime??" She said in a soft tone, looking away from him.

He was about to say something when you got down on the floor and latched onto his leg, looking up at him and whining. He lost all interest in telling the girl of and squatting down, pulling you in his arms and holding you. He stode back up with you in his arms. "Yeah, so that's a no. And you also won't be going the league. You suck." He stated like it was nothing like he usually did.

Now, he would have gone to his room and fuck ya, but today he sat down on the couch and cuddle with you. Cone on, we all know that he's super clingy.

A good two hours after watching that episode. 

And I’m still crying. 

Even thinking about everything that just happened.

Okay, let me try this again, and I’m gonna try extra hard not to burst into tears this time. 

That. 

Was. 

Epic. 

Oh my god. 

Between all of the s**t that’s going down in the world (and yes, I saw all the memes), THIS was the LAST thing I was expecting. 

DESTIEL.

IS.

CANON. 

CAS.

IS.

DEAD.

GUYS!!!

SERIOUSLY HELP!!! 

I...I can’t even process. 

Destiel is canon. 

Supernatural is Avengers: Infinity War. 

Jack destroys anything he touches. 

And meanwhile, Nevada is still counting votes, and Putin stepped down. 

Man. This is a day.  

Everything hurts. 

And I’m still crying. 

Okay. 

Despite all of the emotional trauma that this has caused, I’m going to try really hard to analyze this episode like I usually do. 

Let me just start with: wow. 

The cinematography in this was incredible, and Richard Speight’s acting was genius. Everything about this episode--visuals, music, set, everything--was just so brilliantly done and flowed so beautifully together. The scene changes, the transitions, the build-up of tension--it was beautiful. 

They hit those emotions right from the start, in big ways and subtle ways. Between putting beloved characters in danger, to killing some of them off entirely, to little hugs and smiles and words spoken, I was just as shaky and teary-eyed as I was last week. 

And all of it--all of it--culminated into one of the most beautiful scenes that this show has ever created. The amount of raw emotion that was in that Destiel scene was beautiful. The facial expressions of Cas and Dean were so clearly conveying how they felt--how deep Cas’s love truly was, and how scared and confused Dean was. The script. Those lines. The delivery. All of it put meticulously together, piece by piece, in a terrifying, emotional, tension-filled sequence that made something happen that the show has needed for years.

We finally got Destiel. 

And then to have it ripped away, just like that, because Cas was finally happy. Cas was finally happy because he told Dean how he felt, and because he could go out doing the one thing he’d always wanted to do--love him so much that he had to save him. 

Holy. 

Freaking. 

Cow. 

Look.

I was not a Destiel shipper from Day 1, okay? I wasn’t. I always saw their relationship as a brotherhood, and a friendship, and a special bond. 

But as the years went on, and I continued re-watching old episodes and comparing them to new ones, I started to see the Destiel relationship for what it was. 

And let me tell you right now: this scene? This was the final icing on the cake. 

If you didn’t already see the Destiel, then this...this should’ve done it. 

Because wow.

And while we’re talking about “wow”...

Misha Collins. 

Misha. 

F***ing. 

Collins. 

Holy god almighty. 

That was an INCREDIBLE acting moment. 

That was an Oscar-winning, Emmy-winning, stardom performance from a true legend. 

The way he conveyed all of that raw emotion, and the way the tears fell as he just let it all out. Every pronunciation fo every word was so deliberate and done in just the right way. 

And to end it all with the most satisfied, happiest look as his character gave his life for the man he loved. 

As he pushed his lover away and left a bloody handprint behind. 

Misha F***ing Collins is a F***ing Rockstar. 

Holy sh**. 

That could not have a been a better ending for Castiel. 

All of the parallels, and all of the callbacks, and everything that has happened between Cas and Dean came to a head in that very moment. 

And as much as I cried, and as much as I will still be crying for a long, long time...

It was beautiful. 

Then, after all of that, to just top it all off with everyone disappearing, Infinity War style, and to end on that scene of Dean crying, head in his hands, on the floor, weeping, his only remnant of his lost love staining his shoulder. 

And Sam and Jack, just staring into the nothingness that is the rest of the world before staring at each other, lost, and confused, worried that the rest of their family is dead and gone and they’re the only ones left. 

I have no words. 

I cannot describe how incredibly horrifying, and hurtful, and emotional, and beautiful that entire episode was. 

From start to finish, it was a true masterpiece. And I cannot say that enough. 

With two episodes left, I have no idea where this is going to take us next. 

I don’t know if Cas is going to come back. 

I have a feeling he isn’t. Not with an ending like that. At least, not in a way we might expect. 

But I do think we’ll get a resolution to the Destiel moment. I think Dean will have a moment where he wishes he could’ve had the courage to say it back, or a moment where all we see is him grieving, just as Sam grieves Eileen. 

And I wonder if, when all is said and done, Cas will come back in some other way--in heaven, or in dreams, or in some form. Because that would be a good way to do it, in my opinion.

But beyond that, I don’t know what’s next for Sam and Dean and Jack. 

I have a feeling that, like Infinity War (I’m sorry, but that’s totally what it reminded me of), not everyone will stay dead. My hope is that they’ll be brought back somehow. After all, that’s what our boys are all about, right?

But honestly, I don’t know anymore. 

Any theories I had about the deaths of future characters or the survival of others was thrown out the window by Cas’s death in this episode, and honestly, I’m going to be crying about that for the foreseeable future. I’ll never get over it, but at the same time, I won’t even not love it, because it was perfect, and with it came Destiel. 

That’s honestly all I can say. The tears are still falling, and my heart is still aching, but god da**it, that was a good episode. 

My Rating: 25/10 (These numbers are just going to keep getting higher and higher, aren’t they? I probably should’ve started lower...)

Happy FFWF! 💗 Which of your fics has been the most self indulgent to write? Feel free to let us know why :)

Well, first of all, almost all of my fics are self-indulgent in some way, 'cause that's what writing is all about for me. XD

That said, though, I'd have to say that the most self-indulgent one is definitely The Diamond Girl. I started that story with the expectation that very little people would be interested--an OC story written from first person POV? I'm lucky I have readers. XD--but I wanted to do it anyways, completely for myself, and if people happened to read it along the way, awesome.

This is gonna get really long, but I want to explain why this one is so self-indulgent.

The story started as a role play with one of my (now ex-) friends in high school. We'd started watching X-Men: Evolution together, and since she knew I was a writer, she asked if I wanted to create a character to insert into the show and do a role play for. Given my love of sibling relationships, I created Olivia Summers, Scott and Alex's younger sister, and I tried to include as many sibling moments in the role play as I could.

The role play eventually died off, but I really loved my character, and I loved her relationship with Scott and Alex, so I decided I wanted to take the role play we'd come up with and start to turn it into a full-blown story.

In case I haven't said it enough yet, I absolutely adore sibling relationships, which is why I love Supernatural so much--I love Sam and Dean's brotherly relationship. As such, I try to incorporate sibling relationships into as many of my fics as I can. It's why so many of my MCU fics include Morgan, because I love that relationship between Peter and Morgan, and why so many of my proudest Supernatural fics center around Sam and Dean. However, there are a lot of reasons I've struggled to make that work to the extent that I want it to.

With the MCU, as much as I love Peter and Morgan's relationship, it's hard to get the full sibling feel from them because their ages are so far apart. Obviously, I can always write protective Peter fics--which I am 100% happy to do, don't get me wrong--but it's hard for me to write protective Morgan and/or sassy sibling rivalries because Morgan's so young. I love their dynamic, and I will always happily write the protective Peter trope, but it kind of sucks to not be able to write it the opposite way.

With Sam and Dean, their relationship is beautiful and perfect and absolutely incredible to write...but it's also something we've seen fifteen years of. Supernatural has so much content, which I definitely appreciate, and wouldn't trade for anything, but it can make it hard for me to come up with original ideas surrounding their relationship. I have a few, of course--some that are already published, and some that are in the process of being written--but even as I write them, it's often hard for me to stay true to the characters and their relationship without feeling like I'm repeating the show too much. I did, at one point, try to solve this problem by making an original character when I wrote The Third Winchester and An Angel and a Human, but it wound up taking the focus away from Sam and Dean's relationship too much, and I scrapped it.

The Diamond Girl, however, solves all of those problems.

For starters, while X-Men does have a lot of content, it's all slightly different, which means I can pull lore/backstory from blah-da-blah comic book and plot line from blah-da-blah movie to form a new take on the story in a much easier way.

More than anything, though, none of the X-Men stories focus on the sibling relationship between Alex and Scott Summers. The focus of the X-Men stories is always on the actual mutant-human war, and Alex and Scott are just characters in that ultimate storyline. In fact, in pretty much every story, Alex is dead or not around, so you really don't get to see their relationship. This means that I have soooo much freedom to explore their dynamic in a story where they're both alive gosh darnat.

That in and of itself is already self-indulgent, because it means I can put all of my favorite things about sibling relationships into the relationship between Scott and Alex.

To make it even more self-indulgent, though, by adding my original character, it's even easier to create my ideal sibling relationships, because while I still have to remain true to Alex and Scott's character arcs in a lot of ways, I can insert Liv into the story in any way I want, because she's mine, so her backstory can meld to fit the ideal relationships I want to see from these three.

That was a really long answer to your question, but I hope you enjoyed reading it. Basically, The Diamond Girl is my most self-indulgent because it gives me the most freedom to play with sibling relationships in the way I want to.

Good morning! Whats your favorite show/movie? Who are your favorite characters? Why do you like them so much? Also!! Did you have a good sleep?

Okay so I was a film major for a while, and I have opinions. 

Penny Dreadful 

I love this show. Like, so much. I adore it. I can not get enough of that show. Just all of the imagery, and the fantastic writing and acting. The episode intro alone is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Eva Green is a goddess and I love everything she’s been in. The take on classic horror stories is So Good, and it actually became the inspiration for my Gay Frankenstein story! (Started as a stitch AU, and then went completely OC after I had Ideas) but the show itself is so intimate? I think it’s largely that the period they’re in, everything was so repressed and restricted. So when the characters break out of those moments, it’s more meaningful. And the love-hate relationship between Ms. Ives and Malcolm in season one? Exquisite.  I could literally write essay’s about this show, but I’ll restrain myself and just say: it’s the best ensemble show I’ve ever seen. The characters come together, but they also each have their own distinct lives that sometimes intersect, but in s2 especially, are quite separate. They are constant with one another like ensemble shows usually portray. Also gothic horror and romance? My absolute favorite. 

Anything by Guillermo del Toro

This man Owns My Entire Soul. I’m not even joking, everything he writes and directs is perfection. Crimson Peak is probably my favorite (I have a stitch AU for this too ;) ) because again, Gothic horror and romance. I’m a slut for that shit. Also Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain? Delightful casting. I think it’s obvious by now that I love tragic relationships, so their dynamic is *chef’s kiss* amazing. they’re so damaged. And this quote right here is one of the BEST things I’ve ever read: 

“But the horror... The horror was for love. The things we do for love like this are ugly, mad, full of sweat and regret. This love burns you and maims you and twists you inside out. It is a monstrous love and it makes monsters of us all.”

Engrave that on my headstone, please?? I’ve got a sort-of Dorian Gray AU (it’s delightful) that’s basically built on this entire premise. Mitch makes the mistake of falling in love with Stiles, and does many terrible things because of it. Mostly to himself, at least. 

I think my love of Crimson Peak is very closely tied with The Shape of Water. another beautiful movie, I could wax poetic about this forever. it was beautifully written, and such an artistic movie. I love the way it was filmed, and the set design, and all of the subtle imagery. Such as Elisa’s apartment being cast in cooler tones, it always felt very damp and had evidence of water damage, compared to Giles’, a mirror image of her own, in more warm tones. This is another one I could (and have) write essays about. There is so much packed into this movie, from the themes on toxic masculinity and entitlement, to the conversation on queerness and race and disability, and how all the various relationships are portrayed. Like. there is so much to pick apart in this movie. 

Aside from that, ofc Hell Boy deserves an honorable mention because i grew up on those movies. I’m pretty sure the Golden Army especially is responsible for who I am today, given all the lore on the fae in that universe. Wow, that explains so much about me... Also one of my first WoW characters was an elf named Nuala xD I still have her, too, and it’s been like 12 years lol

Near-Future Sci-Fi

Sci-fi is one of my favorite genres, I am a huge nerd for theoretical and astrophysics. But my favorite kind of sci-fi is the stuff that still takes place on Earth, rather than epic battles in space. Ex Machina and Annihilation are at the top of that list. Alex Garland is another writer/director that I love. He has the same kind of approach as del Toro, where he puts a lot of fine details into his work. And I love that it’s very cerebral; there are so many layers to Ex Machina. My English 101 prof actually refused to analyze it in class when I suggested it to him, because he didn’t think my class could. Basically handle? Dissecting that movie? Because a lot of it comes across as very surface level, but in some cases when you look deeper, it’s actually suggesting the opposite of what you might think at first glance. (And he was right, my fellow students were awful. I miss that class though, it was one of my favorites T_T Mr. Ryder was an awesome dude and super chill.) 

Morgan is another good example. As you can see, I fucking love androids lol. Which brings me to another of my all time favorite movies: Cloud Atlas. I could literally watch this movie endlessly, I love it so much. The acting, the writing, the filming, all of it is top notch. And one thing they did in the movie that didn’t come across in the book, was reusing the same actors through the different eras in the book. That was just so neat, because it really encapsulates how connected these souls are, as we follow the threads of their story throughout time. If you haven’t seen the movie, I can’t recommend it enough.  

Another one I always think of alongside Cloud Atlas, even though they aren’t related at all, is Predestination. It’s a great movie that explores the idea of fate and free will in a really clever way, utilizes time travel in a very organized way that I think was neat (think Umbrella Academy. They even use briefcases! As you can see, I love sci-fi bureaucracy, it’s fun. In fact The Bureau is another movie I enjoyed) and the main character is actually, explicitly trans, which was cool. You basically get to see the entire story of their life, and I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s just. So good. Mindfuckery galore. 

Shoot, and I almost forgot! Arrival! That is one of the best movies, and another one I could watch nonstop. It focuses on mathematics and linguistics and I swear to god, I almost altered my entire college course because of this movie. Amy Addams is brilliant, Jeremy Renner is so soft and nerdy, and again, it has an amazing take on time travel. I am very particular about how time is handled in Sci-fi, and this portrayal was one of my favorite. (Most of my physics studies have been dedicated to the theory of time, so like. Strong Opinions.) 

Fantasy

Stardust! It wasn’t until Good Omens can out that I realized Neil Gaiman is responsible for most of the stories I loved as a kid lol, and I had no idea he wrote stardust! But that is such a beautiful movie (I have a Stardust AU lol) and it’s definitely one of my comfort movies. Captain Shakespeare is one of the best characters ever, bless Robert de Niro. I would die for him. Fun fact, i had no idea Ipswitch was a real place until like. 2019. I 100% thought it was made up for the movie 😂

Alongside Stardust, I’ve always loved The Golden Compass. It’s fantasy, but also with that old-timey steampunk science feel, which is so fun and surprisingly difficult to find! 

Mortal Engines also has the same kind of feel, and it was such an epic movie in every sense of the word. I’m a little sad that after all the work that went into it, it didn’t get a dedicated following or fan base, because I feel there’s so much potential in it. But at the same time, fandom tends to gather around media that has plenty of flaws for us to repair with gold, and there wasn’t much room for that in Mortal Engines. 

I’m going to put Jupiter Ascending here even though it technically fits with the sci-fi, because that section is long as fuck and also this movie has such a fantastic feel. Mila Kunis? beautiful. The CGI? beautiful. Eddy Redmayne? One of the best villain portrayals i’ve ever seen. The whole oedipal vibe he had was immaculate, as was their portrayal of reincarnation, and just. The world building. GOD. I get so weak for through world building. Also the fkn intergalactic bureaucracy when they’re basically at the space DMV? One of my all time favorite scenes in movie history.

I have very little room in my life for horror. As I said, I have strong movie opinions, especially when it comes to horror movies. I don’t like how most of them rely on cheap jump scares and overused gore and gratuitous rape scenes, instead of, y'know, actual good writing. 

Which is EXACTLY why I adore It: Chapter 1 & 2. It has none of those things, but still manages to be so terrifying. They are my favorite horror movies, and I’m saying this as someone who has genuine childhood trauma bc of the novel. Like. I couldn’t shower/take baths alone until I was almost 10 T_T When I was 6-7 and saw kids play by storm drains, I would run over screaming about how Pennywise was going to get them. Like, I had issues man. I was terrified to see the first one, and wouldn’t go until I could go with my best friend after she had already seen it, so she could warn me when something scary was about to happen 😂

And, one of my favorite aspects of the movie, and the thing that gave me Mad Respect for Any Muschietti? The way he filmed Bev and her father. They have a character who is literally being molested, but they never once have to show it. And yet their interactions are still so viscerally upsetting to watch. Sexploitation puts me off of most horror, and the fact that Muschietti doesn’t use it here, even when it would be actually somewhat justified? *chef’s kiss*. I love him. 

I love horror as a concept, I’m just really picky about it because I expect the writing to be good. I don’t like short cuts. But in a lot of cases, even if I don’t enjoy the movie itself, I love to watch analysis videos on youtube! I love to see the philosophy and symbolism in different horror movies, even if i don’t like to watch the movies themselves. It’s a fun hobby.

The Internship (Bless Dylan, Stuart is such a bitch and I love him) 

American Assassin (ofc. The writing itself is eh, but Mitch is my man) 

Dylan’s episode of Weird City. (I actually have a lot of feelings about this one. Jordan Peele is another amazing writer/director, I really need to catch up on his works.) 

Dorian Gray (*chef’s kiss*)

Rogue One (Makes me cry every time) 

WARCRAFT (Obviously this is a fav. It made me so happy, words cannot express.) 

Coraline and most other stop motion animation. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for that. 

Literally anything associated with Tim Burton. Fun fact, when I was 12 and in middle school, I planned to decorate my future house inspired by tim burton. Like, i had Plans.

So! this got long as fuck! But you said you like that kind of thing lol 😂 I had kinda Eh sleep since I was up so late lmao, and I kept waking up (as usual, rip). And I’m so mad I go up for nothing! The dude I was supposed to show my listing to never showed, and is refusing to answer my calls >_> It’s been 2 hours now, and I still haven’t heard from him. But whatever, I already have a full price cash offer on the house so who cares. And that means I can play WoW all day, now!
