✡️ Tonight is SUKKOT.. Sukkot celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection G‑d provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. 💙Different shades of blue in the Royal of Madrid - 📌A leitmotiv in this magnificent palace is without any doubt the silk walls in all the state rooms. The decoration of these spaces is a response of the Alphonsine redecorations in the late 19th century. Each room had a different style, and as you see, furniture and fabrics matched with coherence. If someday you walk in this rooms, take a look in the color scheme changes, and how each style modulates the programmatic decoration around it. 🩵As you may know, I really love blue color, and how it looks in Royal Palaces. For that, I did a serie for the Castles and Palaces of Sweden, or another one for Keddleston Hall in England. 🤙Here my proposal for the Royal Palace of Madrid: -The official antechamber, with a silk wall that has nuances from lilac to strong navy blue. If you take a close up you can see the badge of Sing Alfonso XII of Spain -The antechamber of King Charles III, where the King had his dinners. -The Charles III order room, located in the old bedchamber of the King. Ferdinand created this space remembering his grandfather, with silk hangings - with stars of the Immaculate Conception, castles and lions of the kingdoms and the figure of Charles III - and furniture to match. ♥️Which one is your favorite? - 🥰As always a big thanks to @patrimnacional for this opportunity | by jepsolell
