SO i do plan on drawing this at some point but that's not for a bit.

Ford is dragging Bill back to his dimension, he knew Stan would eventually get it back up and running and ever since he began this deal with Bill he has had a plan in place for this moment.

He loves bill but he doesn't trust him.

Bill Went behind fords back and still infiltrated his dimension with the events of the sock opera and entering Stan's mind still happening as they do in the show.

Bill will later claim this was to try see if he could save ford, since his soul is slowly corrupting and dissolving in the nightmare realm.

(not entirely true hes just a selfish bastard who loves chaos)

he has no clue that ford is aware of him going behind Fords back until the portal opens and Realizes That not only is ford going through, but he plans on letting bill go with him and that ford has a plan and bill is scared shitless on what exactly ford has planned.

Ford made a deal a long time ago, to ensure that no matter what happens, If that portal opens, Bill cant Destroy his home dimension, but hes also not going to leave Bill alone! hes clingy

and he Does Love him and isnt willing to be away from him. >:)

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

Recurring themes? In his dreams? Not really. When Dave dreams it's the most nonsensical or fantastical bullshit you will ever hear. One time he dreamt that he found a sweet factory in the Alps while he was riding a unicorn, which, is a very Dave dream.

Now his nightmare however... Different matter entirely hehehehehe

29. What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?

Dave has always been curious.

His desperate need to know things started in his early childhood, even when asking questions was heavily discouraged during that time. And while he does enjoy a nice detective story, he likes adventure more. Likes discovering new places, meeting new people.

So, when he saw Indiana Jones in all his whip swinging, hat wearing, ass kicking glory on his friends TV screen, tiny Dave's mind was set on becoming just like him when he's grown up.

Unfortunately, life had other plans for Davey-boy and he's now firmly stuck in the Varia, running after Chief to make sure he eats and scratching his pranking itch at least twice a day.

But no worries, Dave is quite happy with his current situation and he has no plans for changing it.

it didn’t actually turn out as obvious and explicit as I’d planned, and I was worried at first because I didn’t want there to be any misunderstanding or confusion but I realized that I kinda liked the ambiguity of it. you’re free to interpret it however you’d like, whether it’s that he’s just imagined it or if the family dynamics are so off that they’re happy to pretend everything’s fine and switched back to normal instantly.

the original plan is that it’s all in his head! lemme post the tiny hint I dropped for it (again it was purposely vague, in fact I tried to make it as seamless and as unnoticeable as possible). I intended for the shift to start there in the first screenshot, where it’s subtlely implied that he’s just guessing at what’s gonna happen. There’s the mention of reader being tipsy after two glasses, so after four they’ll probably be drunk.

When he came back to reality, I tried to show the disconnect (things that didn’t match up) through the untainted carpet and the mention of reader only being on their fourth glass then. I ended it with parroting the same paragraph from before of what he guessed would happen, basically solidifying his assumption and kinda bringing us back to the current timeline.

Whether what he imagined would actually end up happening irl, who knows! I like to think Touya’s a lil delusional, but there’s implications there that hint that mayhaps reader does want it, and not just in his twisted imagination heheheheh

I HOPE THIS MADE SENSE AND WASN’T PRETENTIOUS IN ANY WAY? AHHHH, I KNOW IT’S INCREDIBLY VAGUE AND UNCLEAR ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED, THE SWITCH BACK TO REALITY WAS SUUUUPER SUBTLE AND BLURRY SO YOU��RE COMPLETELY VALID! I hope that clears it up!
