Sarah Louise Young

Sometimes credited as Sarah Young, Sarah was born in Sidcup, England, United Kingdom in April 1971 but was raised in Hampshire in Southern England. In 1986 she was approached by a photographer in the street and agreed to pose for some trial pictures as a Page 3 girl for the Sun newspaper. A positive response to the pictures led to an invitation for Sarah to join a modeling agency. While she did model for various UK based men's magazines, at age 18 she appeared in a photo set in Private magazine. While she was initially hesitant to do the shoot as the adult industry did not have a very good reputation in UK, at the urging of a friend she went ahead and worked in the European industry. Later she met German adult film director and publisher Sascha Alexander, whom she would work with almost exclusively and would later marry. Her popularity in Europe led her to opening her own chain of sex shops in Germany, and becoming the first adult actress to be paid a million dollars for a single film. In 1997 she decided to retire as the industry began to switch to lower budget movies. She later divorced Sascha and moved to the US to study law.

I've been wanting to write an August background fic/character study for a couple of years now. It was meant to be a small series of encounters to examine the evolution of his views on women and romance, but I don't have the time or creative energy for that. Luckily, this first 3k scene between him and Carl Johan also makes a good pre-canon one-shot to set us up for S3!

Årnäs, February 2016. Young August keeps his father Carl Johan company after an argument with Louise, digests some bad news and 'truths' of life, and wants to help.

As hard as August tried to rack his brain, he couldn’t think of anything that his mother might have done to cause the upset. He knew his parents had argued a few days ago while he was at school, but they had already made up. Hadn’t they? It had just been the usual pointless tension brought by Louise’s credit card statement. Carl Johan had already given her a new pair of earrings since then, to be worn at Sunday’s fundraising event, so they must’ve made up.

“Well, August,” Carl Johan’s voice said at long last, pulling August back to the present. “It looks as if you’re on your own for most of next week. Apparently, your mother would rather be in Zermatt with her sister than in Stockholm with me or here with you.”
