When she'd arrived at this place for lunch, she'd been hopeful to get a solo table but given the crazy last few days of summer rush they were having, and the fact that it was a weekend--they told her that the tables were communal and while she didn't really feel like socializing at that particular moment, she still agreed and was sat at someone's table. She didn't know the other but still kept a happy smile on her face as she sat down. "Hi--sorry I hope you don't mind, but they've realized they have no space and too many customers and so they've turned all these tables into communal ones. I'm Elena by the way," she said with a quick wave before realizing how crazy that must've looked and decided to continue looking at the menu instead.

Elena continued to search around for her clothes in the woods once she’s transformed back to her human forum. Coming across a blanket though made her raise an eyebrow, but she took it as a sign from the universe and wrapped it around her. As she walked further though she noticed an empty coffee cup and a house. Making her way to the house and she knocked on the door. 

When the door finally opened she held the blanket around her tightly. “Hi. Sorry I’m sure you’re not use to naked girls wrapped in blankets at your door.” Elena rambled on for a moment. “But do you happen to have some clothes I can borrow? I usually have a bag but I think I ended up away from it and there’s usually someone who stashes us extra clothes but they’re gone and so is the coffee.” Pointing towards the woods where the empty cup was. “Also can I come in? It’s freezing out here.”

With a heavy tote bag from her haul at the Treasure Chest on her shoulder, Aisha had been glancing at the shop windows as she walked through the suburbs. While she hadn't had any specific plans that afternoon, she was fine to just see where the afternoon took her. She often enjoyed spring weekends, when the nice weather allowed her to meander without having to worry about escaping the cold. As she glanced over from a window, she noticed Elena near one of the stores. Giving a bright smile, she approached her. "Hey, Lena!" she gave a small wave. "Enjoying your day?"

Daria patted down her pockets before rifling through their bag. A groan of irritation left their lips the longer it took for them to find their keys. "Come on, where are you," she grumbled. Nothing. This was going to ruin their buzz. "You've got to be kidding me." Not thinking things through, they tip their bag over, letting the contents of it fall to the ground. Wallet, random receipts, some gum... Nope, her keys were not there. Letting out a long breath, they crouch down to pick everything up, only to fall back against their neighbor's door. A loud thud resounded behind her and her vision swam. "Whoops."

I realize I haven't written in my "journal" in quite some time now. That shall be remedied!

Kind of reigniting my love for Tumblr and all its fandoms and things that really pull me back in; like I was skimming some of my past OTPs and rediscovered my love for Tyler/Caroline in TVD, Emma/Hook in OUAT, Bellamy/Clarke in The 100, and of course Delena 😍 I actually did a YouTube search for every single Tyler/Caroline scene from TVD so I didn't have to rewatch the series, and I'm about to do the same for Damon/Elena. 😜

Today was Thanksgiving. 🦃 We went to Kasey & Wiley's new house for dinner and ughhhhh everything was so gooooood! 🤤 Rowan and his behavior was a tad overwhelming, but my saint of a mom took him to spend the night with her. Isaac and I came home and I've been engulfed in #acotar and #tvd Tumblr threads like a maniac. 🤪

READING: I'm currently 36% into House of Sky and Breath by SJM. I'm fiending for some Hunt/Bryce scenes. 🍆

TV: Watching every scene between Tyler Lockwood/Caroline Forbes in a playlist on YouTube. 🧛🏻‍♀️🐺

rosalie wasn’t happy being away from home. she was quite content living a boring vampire life. she had her family, and that was enough for her. the last thing she wanted was to be transported to the capitol, without her permission and without her family. this was beyond a joke, and the constant summer sunshine were also bothering her. she looked rather silly wandering around with an umbrella on a clear day, but she was worried about skin damage was what she was telling people. “can i help you?” she raised an eyebrow as she saw a woman looking her way “did i have something on my face?”

she’s staring at him with a bewildered expression, what was once her outstretched hand in his direction now falling slowly to her side. “stefan...” his name falls from her lips like a whisper, hung in the air between them. she tilts her head to study him, a softness overtaking her features, wishing so badly to envelope his face between her palms and push whatever was falling apart between them back together. “i won’t.” she promises, with a light shake of the head. she can’t believe this was happening. “but i want to. why do we keep doing this to ourselves, stefan? i’m not scared. i’m not. i want you. i want this. i want us.” she takes a step towards him, testing the waters. “and i’m not giving up that easily.”

Talk about a blast from the past. Elena had been keeping to herself just strolling along on a random street in midtown when she spotted a face she'd recognize anywhere. A face in particular that she'd actually deemed her best friend since before she even understood what a best friend really was. Nicole Martin. She'd known the other since they were very young, childhood friends, family friends—they were pretty much everything to one another. And yet there was so much that had happened between them that led to their bond being essentially eradicated. Still she couldn’t resist the temptation to reach out and see if the other willfully ignored her or actually acknowledged her presence. She didn’t say anything though, she just purposely put herself in the other's path, almost feigning ignorance as she did. It was a silly test, they were both adults and yet this one moment was giving her a lot more joy than she'd experienced in the last couple of months for sure.

If not it’s okay and I can leave you be?” She offered to him as she half turned on her heels and gestured to behind her. “I just wanted to talk about everything that happened at camp. Again if you don’t have time I can gladly leave you be.” Offering once more. “Also I might have made you some home made Sausage-Stuffed Pao de Queijo as a thank you for catching me. Or at least attempting to. I appreciate it.” Pulling the Tupperware out of her bag and she held it out to him. “I hope you don’t mind, but if you don't like them I can make something else."

the young woman been so busy lately that she hasn’t had time for her best friend. if she wasn’t attending photoshoots, parties, fundraisers, etc, she wouldve made time for elena. and let’s not forget about her latest scandal with her boy toy of the month. some lead singer in a popular boyband. of course, this guy ended up in bed with some other model. and yet again, tmz is the first one with the news while niamh is the last one to know. so she definitely needed some girl time with elena.

niamh plopped down on the couch besides elena. “pick a good movie yet, slowpoke?” she questions as she pokes the young woman in the side. she leans forward reaching for her bowl of popcorn. right now, niamh was grateful to  be able to spend time with elena. she understand that both of them been busy but still wish it was easier to make tie for each other. she pops a few pieces in her mouth as she notice a romantic comedy on the screen. “please don’t choose that. don’t you know that love is dead?” she frowns as she leans back against the couch. “why do boys suck?”

The sort of job he was hired for wasn’t usual. He didn’t play babysitter. There wasn’t exactly an option to say no though and he found himself playing bodyguard instead of hitman. He supposed that it seemed somewhat understandable, given his secondary job as a detective. Their true business was of course hidden, their travel all planned out and taken care of before they left with a proper cover story in place. The tension had been there immediately. Trust was not something easily earned, a matter that both parties were very intimate with. It was going to be a long week of making sure the woman didn’t end up killing herself because she got too damn carried away.

He had just finished cleaning his gun when he heard the disgruntled sound for what felt like the one hundredth time since the trip had begun. He turned to look at her, feeling the flare of anger.

“Alright, let’s get one thing straight. I don’t fucking wanna be here as much as you don’t want me to be here princess.” He snarked out, voice a growl. “We make it through a week and your father is happy that you come back in one piece. Then we go our separate fucking ways. Easy as that. So buck it the fuck up and learn to deal with it.”
