So I'm a little worried about Monster Hunter Wilds, because I really don't want it to be like World, but the bird wyvern is a pretty cool dog replacement. I'm not even mad about the glide, cuz breath of the wild and its ripoffs have ruined that shit for me, but World had the glide mantle, so it's just combining the dog with that which is cool. The only thing the Palamutes couldnt do was air movement. You'd always feel bad booting them 30 feet to the earth below you to gain some height and wirebug somewhere. Which felt really cool but if this bird gets a double jump I'm gonna pog for 24 hours straight.

If the weather in the trailer is anything to go off of it would be pretty cool for them to just go in super hard on the environmental stuff. One of the best parts about Rise is how often you can use the stage as a weapon if you know how. People complain about there not being actual hunting anymore, but I feel more in tune with the landscapes in Rise than I did with any of the previous games. I did my time with the old games brand of hunting, and I chased fuckin fireflies for like 600+ hours, I don't wanna do that shit anymore lol

I really just desperately want to know how the character controls which is for sure why they didn't show it. That trailer was "don't worry, the dog is eternal" which I really really appreciate, but I dont want to not have wirebug shmovement. If they remove that whatever they add needs to let me do Bloodborne shit. I do not want the slinger back, I want to feel like Vergil, OR I want to feel like a mountain. from a jungian perspective i just think these texts were neat. hos is someone who puts on an egotistical mask/bravado but is actually very sensible about her power and place in the world, seeing how she knew very well that she couldn't defeat kevin head on, and is still afflicted by the "traces of fu hua" to this day and therefore lacks a true sense of self

yeah tommy (1) and tubbo (2) do not tell ranboo (3) about their ranboos. tommy doesn’t deem it necessary and doesn’t want to relive it, and tubbo doesn’t want to tempt fate. i’d imagine it came up in conversation before they knew spider-pog was ranboo but without any direct names. maybe some sneaky comparisons though ‘his hair looked like yours’ but they’re all totally oblivious.

i would imagine tommy is the one to eventually let the cat out of the bag in an argument with tubbo that ranboo had been too close to. kind of a ‘he’s right behind me isn’t he’ except very dramatic and instantly he and tubbo put aside their fight to rush and explain but ranboo kind of just stands there, zoned out before zipping off while the other two are too frantic with each other to notice immediately. tubbo wants to go after them but tommy convinces him to give them space- trying to be emotionally-intellegent while he’s just as scared as tubbo over losing him.

Just finished reading Excorsicm and. WOUGHAOYGAGAOAUAFGASOG. THAT WAS SO GOOD??? WHAT A SATISFYING ENDING. The killer made SO MUCH SENSE. Everything thematically fit into place and - best of all - the breakdown of [MURDERER] with the incorperated lines was SUCH A POG MOMENT!!!! thank you so much!! im like really. really not tuned into celebrity culture At All lol, so writing any gavinners related headlines always had me like. frantically googling fuckin boygroups and stuff. but it was really fun! the whole thing was, i really had a lot of fun writing it. which also makes me happy that the mystery to humor balance felt right, because that is still important to me. i actually scrapped a chapter outline just yesterday, because it made me sad, and while angst will always be there, i still wanna make myself giggle and you guys laugh.

and well with a canon rewrite (more or less) theres always a risk that it would feel repetitive to people, so im always happy to hear that it didnt! ngl im pretty proud of how i weaved my stuff into the canon timeline. it does leave enough space for it lol
