zakhar is extremely self-conscious about his ability to take care of anything considering his clear inability to do so with himself and always turns down angel's suggestions to get a pet, pretending he doesn't like them very much. whenever they visit the farm though he spends most of his time there outside playing w/ the baby goats and has convinced their father to teach him how to milk a cow lmao their visits to chestnut ridge are also the only reason why he doesn't look paler than a ghost anymore. he used to avoid going out so much he straight up looked Dead

he can sleep anywhere. most often he sleeps curled up on the bean bag in their living room. he always acts like it's completely fine. his aching back tells a different story

he's a born mathematician. when he's not out partying or rotting in his bed for days, he likes to listen to public lectures on youtube from various mathematicians & physicists - and when he's feeling really bored, he just pirates math textbooks to solve them for fun. he's kind of insane ngl. IMAGINE DOING MATH FOR FUN?? <- (guy who would absolutely do math for fun)

speaking of academia, zakhar absolutely refuses to even try going to uni to actually do something with his life because of his history of almost getting kicked out of school every year. it was always due to absences. he's the kind of person that can glance over the material a couple times and still pass an exam, so he never actually failed anything. the fear of failure remains deeply rooted in him regardless.

he's a massive introvert that doesn't like being around people, but nonetheless has a great love for humanity as a whole, especially children. and children love him. even though he has a resting bitch face and, according to a lot of people, a "vaguely malicious aura".

im thinking like.....medieval au where anakin is a young king and obi-wan is someone in his court he's had an affair with for a few years - maybe he was tasked with teaching him basic defense as a knight or with teaching him horseback riding or with making his weapons as a blacksmith

but then anakin declares his intent to marry and obi-wan was always expecting this. like he knew this would happen. it still stings, stupidly enough. and it stings so much that he decides he can't actually be there for the wedding of his king to someone else, so he packs up and heads off to another kingdom.

only for anakin to visit that kingdom within the year, all puffy and sullen that he must track obi-wan down and bring him back. like where has obi-wan been?? his king has been in need of him???

obi-wan is too weak to deny him an audience, especially because it's hardly an audience at all. his king comes bursting through the doors of his humble studios and demands to know if he somehow does not understand the regard that he holds for him??

anakin basically drags obi-wan back to his kingdom by his ear and obi-wan is sad and dutiful about it until he learns that anakin and his queen have a friendly relationship at best and will pursue an heir and then breaking off all sexual/marital engagements.

anakin is like of course that's the deal like i would ever cheat on you??? and obi-wan is flabbergasted and quite touched, honestly.

and anakin is like i'll show YOU touched etc etc

🔥 craziest thing that’s ever happened to you

Hmm I'm not gonna answer health stuff for this one. Let's go with something more fun. So I used to go to those Supernatural conventions back in the day (the last one I went to was during Season 9) and I got legitimately flirted with by multiple people of the cast which was GREAT for my ego. Mark Shepherd was the most shameless about it once he saw me get all flustered, and it very much felt like he was just doing it cause he thought my laugh was cute. Rob Benedict would have his band there to play after the official convention was over, and myself and a few others got to get reeeaaaal flirty with him and the band. I ended up actually getting a few dates with their drummer and did hook up with him and Almost hooked up with Rob but I backed out cause he was married and I didn't wanna be That Person. I didn't flirt with Jim Beaver but we did talk A LOT cause of his book he published that was all emails and journal entries during the period his wife was dying of cancer and we bonded over my health bullshit. Also, Misha Collins is a fuckin asshole in person. Very egotistical and got bitchy if you didn't give him attention.

My parents gifted him to me as a birthday present, but I met him after a woman my mom knew took in a pregnant ragdoll cat and she had kittens. Castiel was the runt of the litter and only half the size of his siblings. Surely, if the momma cat hadn't been taken in, he would have died. He's got some health issues but I don't mind. He is my sweet boy and I cherish him more than anything in the world! I named him Castiel cause I was really into Supernatural back then (he is currently 11yrs old) and his coloring makes it look like he has a little trench coat on with one sleeve messed up. Look at him as a baby

i have another fic where obi-wan is a stewjoni king and anakin is a jedi he is arranged to marry: let's get your fingers tangled in my hair (with bonus veil/mistaken identity!!)

in polyglot, obi-wan is a stewjoni senator & anakin is a jedi, but maybe this doesn't count as much because it doesn't take place on stewjon

on the anakin being from tatooine front, i have sun, sun, sun here it comes, where anakin is senator from tatooine, though this also may not count as much cause it takes place on coruscant

in hold me fast or kill me quick, anakin and obi-wan are soulmates and jedi obi-wan meets anakin on tatooine! the fic takes place half in flashbacks on tatooine and half in the temple where anakin has moved (after marrying qui-gon) (it's complicated)

fic reading ask game: 🥰 what tropes do you gravitate toward?

covered character and ship tropes here so i shall cover more fic type tropes. i really love the 5 times fics, something about that format is so delicious for my brain. i crave structure and i know exactly what type of fic i'm getting into from the start.

i also love missing scenes style, so inserting little moments or vignettes in between canon events. when authors can make those flow effortlessly without requiring too much suspension of disbelief, that scratches my brain in just the right way.

🙅 whats an instant nope for you?

cringy dialog and things just feeling immediately out of character. sometimes from the description i can just tell that the set-up makes no sense for the chosen characters. i can give grace with certain characterization choices, but there are some things with certain drivers that i can't get past. like ____ would never. that's an instant nope from me lol.
