"He can be the worst person in the world sometimes, but I'm not pessimistic enough to believe he doesn't have a heart. I think he's been hurt before, and he lets that pain get the better of him, and tries to hide it through whatever vice he has at his disposal at the time. Sometimes, I think I'm the only one who can see it - that he's capable of love. Pure, genuine, love.

He may be an annoyance to me, he can frustrate me beyond belief, but I honestly care about him, very much. I won't always show it, because he'll close the door and try and shut me out again. I just wish he'd start realising that no matter what happens, how unfair he can treat me, how unfair I treat him, I'll always have the key to whatever door he shoves me behind. I'll always be coming to find him.

I think he's lonely, I think he gets scared, but I'm not going anywhere. However he feels, that's not going to change. He needs someone to look after him, in more ways than just doing his laundry and making sure he consumes more than just cigarettes, and that'll be me. Whether he likes it or not. He's not just my neighbor, he's.. he will always be more."

"I miss you. I don't even know if we were ever really friends, but whatever we were, sometimes I wish we were still... that, or at least something close to it."

"If I text that to the last person I've slept with, I'm pretty sure he'd tell me to get lost or ask me if I'm drunk, which would be a great assumption because that is the only way I'd ever text him that."

"I am not jealous over that spoiled, foul, egotistical little... boy. I just think it's funny that he's — you know what, never mind. I'd say he knows what he's done, but I don't think there's enough space left in that head of his for logic or actual sense."

"There's a few. Cherry, Blossom and Maple bringing dead mice to our house all the time isn't great. Having enough time to tend to my plants, global warming, my upstairs neighbor, keeping everything in check at the store, Asher Ortiz..."

"Probably @aeris-flores, and he probably hated it. Couldn't tell you if it was about something imparticular. Most likely something to do with our impending doom to be forever intertwined in each other's lives... or he upset my cats for the millionith time and trampled on my plants with his humongous feet."
